Because an oil change was three weeks out at Mid City, Harper graciously fit me in next day for service on my Wife's Honda Accord. Excellent Service. Last 2 visits have been for oil changes. Great job and inspection report. Have Techs be mindful of re-setting mileage alert as they have forgotten last 2 visits. After bringing this to someones attention it was taken care of immediately.

The service on our Transit at Harper Motors was completed quickly, and at a very good price. Harper's waiting area was very comfortable. In fact, we are going to start bringing our other vehicle to Harper's for service because we don't think the service and price we've been getting at another local dealership is as good Harper's.

Everything went sideways on the repair of a fuel pump on my 2001 Navigator. It was to be a 2-3 day job that turned into nearly two weeks. Look at my rating. A ten! Why? Customer Service and great employees. The service manager, Bob, the service reps, Geo and Bill, and the service phone gal all did everything they could to make this issue work FOR ME. They covered a great SUV rental for us to go on our trip that was planned, they had my car ready upon my return, and the chargers were very reasonable. I know my car was late and the problem was caused by Harper's error. But what should be done if an error is made? Fix it and make it right for the customer. They did that this time - and have done it in the past. Good customer service is what I expect, and is, without a doubt, what I receive from Harper's. Well done, folks!

I have a 2014 Ford Focus that had transmission problems. I understand it was on a recall list but I was not notified of this. It was while I was in the Seattle, Wa. area that I discovered it. I took it to the Ford dealer up there and they reprogramed the TMC. I drove home but the problem wasn't resolved so I took it to Harpers. I hope it is solved because I have to go back to the hospital in Seattle next week. I sure don't need it to break down.

I recently purchased a new 2016 Ford Explorer. We were given excellent "no pressure" service from the staff. Staff supported and helped us with every detail of the purchase, including sitting in the vehicle with us to show us how to use all the electronic devices. They even set my phone up to the blue tooth device. To top it off they told me I can come back at any time to have them go over anything I forgot or anything else I needed help with. 90000 mile service. I first checked with Ford in Dearborn MI. to know exactly what my service contract I purchased covered in the 90k service. I then Called Harpers Ford and made appointment. I spoke with QuickLane agent explaining the circumstances about 90k service, then made the appointment. The only thing that was troubling, was the fact that My call was not documented with my instructions. I had to re explain the whole thing to the agent when I brought the car in. We were both a little frustrated. Documentation is the first link to gaining customer confidence. Without documentation, the human mind tends to think that the ball will be dropped all along the way, and one is most likely dealing with another stoned out employees. The employees on the scene were helpful. and re-established confidence in Harper Service.

Electric cars are new and there are items on the dash board that I do not understand and was not explained to me but I can figure it out eventually. I was not told there isn't a spare tire but an inflation kit.The car is really great and I contacted PGE and the new rate is called the EV rate and using the charger at night is equal to about $1 per gallon on a gas car. All in all it is a good deal and I like the car a lot.

We have a 2011 Cargo Van with wheelchair lift. Ford Motor Company replaced the engine under warranty last year so what to do for the rest of the vehicle was unclear to me. Keith Hodge, Service Manager, was very helpful going through all past service with me so that I could see what was needed for 60K tuneup. Bill, Service Tech, was also very efficient and gracious to work with.Other Ford employees were extra friendly (with our little dog) and interested in us having a positive service experience and "good visit" at Harper Ford.

We thought the service has been good except for the problem with radio speakers. The sound is garbled but when we took the truck in to have the speakers checked on April 23, they did not want to fix them at that time. They wanted to wait until the problem developed. Well it's still the same, so we are not satisfied with that.

I first went to Northwood Chevolet in Eureka being a Chevy person most of my life I was ready for a new truck, the experience there was so horrible and degrading I walked out and looked up the next Truck dealership and it was Harper Ford I was so upset I thought why not try it. I have the 2014 Ford C-Max. This was its first service appt. Also the battery recall was addressed at this time. The staff was very helpful and nice. The shuttle drive was very pleasant. The computer was down, so I did not get my receipt at the time. But it came in the mail a couple days later. Unfortunately, I had to bring the car back in because somehow my clock was affected by the battery test. It was not keeping time, and I could not reset it. But the staff took care of that quickly.

Passing through Eureka on way home. Didn't have appointment. They were busy but squeezed me in. Girl at counter said it would be done at 2:15. I paid and was back on way home by 2:10. I live 80 miles from HMH and now I don't have to make special trip for oil change. Staff at Quicklane always concerned and courteous. Only place I have my truck worked on.

Travis was the salesman, and he was wonderful to work with. We made a deal, whoever he checked with agreed, and there was no back and forth. I felt that no one was adding costs after we had agreed to a price. That happened to me at another dealership. My KIA Sedona is now 13 years old and just turned 200,000 miles. Virtually all servicing has been done by Harper Motors. I have been treated fairly and trust my car care to the dealership. Most of the service advisors and the service manager know that I am a caregiver for my wife and that hassles at the dealership only exacerbate the stress I'm already under and are kind and helpful.

This was my husband and I's second time purchasing a vehicle from Harper Motors, and it has been a pleasant, easy experience each time. Chris Arnold was great at keeping in touch during my search for a vehicle, and was really great to work with. No wonder he was salesman of the year! The only thing I don't enjoy about purchasing a vehicle with you is when I am doing the financing portion and your finance person really pushes for me to purchase a warranty through the dealership. I originally say no, and then after being pushed I finally give in, and I regretted purchasing it, and if it was possible to refund that I would. During the financing portion of our second purchase, I noticed there is now a warranty video you are forced to watch while the paperwork is being filled out. Either people want these warranties or they don't, and I didn't like having it shoved in my face and feeling like I had to buy one after I had already said no thank you.

I purchased a 2000 Ford F250 Powerstroke from Harpers Ford and have had them do just about all the servicing for the vehicle. The exceptions have been tires, batteries, and ball joints. Actually Harpers did replace the truck's ball joints just after the warranty period ended. They only lasted 20K miles, so I had a local front end shop replace them a second time. The ball joints installed by the local shop have been in for about 50K miles and are doing great. I've found the cost of a basic service from Harpers to be only slightly more than that of other providers in the area. The one issue that I have with Harpers is that I periodically receive "specials" from them to have gas powered vehicles serviced at reduced rates. I find it mildly annoying that I've spent many $$'s at Harpers and have never been rewarded for being a loyal customer. Evidently because I purchased a Diesel vehicle, which by the way we all know was much pricier than any gas model.

On my 2013 Ford Fiesta, a recent oil change/tire rotation was done competently, quickly, and with great staff courtesy. Previously, I appreciated warranty repair of the manual window control mechanism but was disappointed that the screw cover was broken and not replaced. (This is a plastic cap covering a screw head on the interior door panel; this door panel was removed to repair the window; when the panel was replaced the tangs were broken from the screw cover; thus, when I vacuumed the interior, the broken screw cover was sucked up by the vacuum cleaner, instead of staying in place.) Yesterday, I bought a new one, though it would have been a legitimate claim and proper for Ford to supply the screw cover without charge to me. It cost $6.90, a little more than the $5 discount on the oil change, given by the dealership. Such breakage during repair has happened once before: On the previous occasion, the dealership paid for the replacement part. Thanks.

I was very happy with the service and sense of responsibility that Scott August showed to me.But we did have a bit of a problem that disturbed me. I brought my car for servicing based on recommendations made by the Fast Track team which included the replacement of a transmission mount. I took time off of work for this appointment which I had made a week or two earlier.When I arrived,Scott noted that the part that I needed had not been ordered as it should have been when I made the appointment. Scott was very professional about this and told me that the part would hopefully be in stock so that I would not need to come back; it fortunately was in stock.What disturbed me was that Scott went to his supervisor to explain that the part had not been ordered at the time that I made my appointment. I was sitting outside the supervisor's office so I could hear the conversation. Scott received no support from his supervisor and didn't seem to think that it was his problem as well as Scott's....which ultimately effects me as the customer.His supervisor said something to the effect that he didn't know what the heck they were doing "over there"and that he couldn't keep track of this kind of thing. I am loosely paraphrasing but that was the essence of his reply to Scott.I have worked in retail before and am now an RN caring for cancer patients. If I went to my supervisor with a problem and was treated the way that Scott was treated by his supervisor I would be fuming and would certainly take this behavior to higher management.This problem is certainly the supervisor's problem in that he needs to make sure that systems are in place and followed so that mistakes like this aren't made.Dealing with the public is no easy task, I know from experience.People who do their best to be professional and to make sure that customers are treated well should be supported by their employers on all levels.Good for Scott; not so good for his supervisor!

Friday afternoon, I stopped by the Express Service department to make an appointment for my 2nd oil change for my new Focus. They said they could do it while I waited if I wished. So, I did, and they did. In checking over things, my windshield washer fluid was a little low, and they re-filled it. My tire pressure also was a little low, so when rotating my tires, they filled them. They even asked if I'd like them to wash my car. All I'd have to do is wait a few more minutes. Done! When done, you went over the report (tire tread, brake lining/wear, windshield blades, etc.). What a friendly, professional job!More importantly, though, I was there Friday afternoon to pick-up our other Focus (bought in 2013). The water pump went out. We called about a problem with the temperature gauge on Wednesday. You came to our house and towed the car in at no charge. You got the pump Thursday, and we had the car back Friday. No cost! In comparison, we owned our two Chrysler's for 22 years. Whenever we had to take either into the shop, it usually was weeks before we got it back. You gave us a great deal on our 2013 Focus. So, when we needed a 2nd car we came back to Harper and you gave us the same deal on our new 2014 Focus. Both your sales and service department people are really great! Thanks!

When delivered there was some detailing that could have been done , such as , the blue protective coating on the white lettered tires was not cleaned off and some shipping stickers were still on the tail lights . From the moment I pulled into the lot I felt like I was treated as a VIP. The first car I looked at I bought, so it didn't take long. I bought a Hiandya Sonata as a used vehicle. Bill Lackey sold it to me. He was recommended to me before I got there, so I just asked for him. What a neat guy. He was very professional, gentlemanly, courteous and made me feel important. I couldn't take the car home 'till the following Wednesday, but then it was delivered to my work. Unfortunately, the new power steering hose was a bad one, that they had been waiting for until Wednesday. So the next morning I had to return the car, not knowing exactly what was happening. Luckily I didn't have to wait another four days for the car. Since then, it's been two weeks. Three lights have gone out and needed replaciing. One headlight, and two tail lights. I hope this car will be a good fit for me, but none the less, my experience at Harper Fords was positive one. I called at 7:30 Am when you opened and was told they had a busy day but to come in and they would work me in, but it might be afternoon before they got to me. I arrived at 8:30 AM and was out before 11:00 AM. The charge was for the minimum fee of 1 hour. They found the problem within a short time and used the balance of the hour to do other safety checks.

On even slight elevations the low brake fluid light was coming on, so I brought it by and immediately brake fluid was added to the reservoir. Katrina has been our dedicated customer service person and she is awesome! Dale, the shuttle driver is so nice and helpful, I always enjoy our conversations while he is taking me home. scheduled my f150 for service online,checked in about 15 minutes before the appointment, was told it would take about 1-1.5 hours to complete 30,000 mile service. It was completed in about 55 minutes. When complete the service rep went over was was completed and said no issues at this time. Great job and service.

We traveled from Southern California to purchase a car for our son as a graduation gift from HSU and were extremely happy with the level of customer service we received- from our initial phone conversation with Trevor, the person-to-person sale experience, also with Trevor, to the after-sale care, we were treated like family. Likewise, the inventory at hand was so vast that we had a hard time choosing which vehicle we ultimately wanted. Trevor represented vehicle sale experience with ultimate professionalism as he was well-informed, personable, and gave us the most assistance we have ever had after purchasing over a dozen vehicles from other car dealerships over the past 25 years. The negotiation process was pleasant and left us knowing that we were treated fairly and with integrity. Our son still lives in the area and has exchanged phone calls with Harper Motor personnel, including the service department for his first (and free!) oil change and he relayed that he was treated just as well as we all were on the day we purchased his vehicle. Living at such a distance, my husband and I are assured that our son has quality, safe transportation and equally important, he has a second family at Harper Motors that continues to take great care in the service that they provide. I would gladly travel 600 miles again for the opportunity to have the entire positive experience that we had and that our family continues to have with Harper Motors.

I brought our 2012 Ford Focus in for the warrantied 'clutch' replacement for 'shuddering' at 8am and was told I would be called later that day for an update on the expected completion time: I was never called that day. I called at 8am the next morning for information and was told that my service person would call me back promptly, as I had logistical issues to solve with coordinating a time I could pick up the car: I asked to be called back by 10:15am and was never called back. I called at 10:15 and was told the car would be ready after 3pm, so I made my plans accordingly, even driving by the dealership at noon on my way home, but not stopping because it wasn't supposed to be ready until after 3pm. I was called at 12:30 to say that the car was now ready, so, if I had been given more accurate information, I wouldn't have had to make another 12 mile trip to go back for the car. It's very frustrating to be told someone will call and then they don't, twice on 2 different days, and I have to keep following up myself. Otherwise, the staff is courteous and the experience fairly positive.

My 1992 Lincoln Town Car is my "baby". For a car her age, she has held up well. She has a few infirmities, but,at 81, so do I. I have been a customer of Harper Ford since 1967 or so. We bought a Fordthat "dieseled"...the engine would not shut off when you turned off the key. That is the ONLY problem I've had with a Ford. I also have a Taurus.I'm VERY happy that I do not own a General Motors product right now. Too many DELAYED recalls.Your staff is ALWAYS helpful...and they ALL SMILE!

My buying experience was perfect. Kurt did an excellent job of helping me find and eventually order the exact car I wanted. The service at the time of sale was exceptional as well with people taking the time to explain and teach me the new tech in my car and show me some of the shortcuts etc. The only thing I would change is the transmission. I really really really miss the CVT I had in my old Five Hundred. The 6 speed is nice but cannot compare, otherwise my new Taurus is perfect!.

I worked with Chris Arnold to get exactly what I wanted ordered from the factory. Chris made the process easy, fair and efficient. After 31 years of car buying, this was my first purchase from Harper Motors. It was by far the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I priced my purchase at out of the area dealers just to double check market prices and Harpers was as competitive as anyone. When you take the inconvenience of traveling to pick up a new vehicle . . . versus Harper's customer service and convenience into consideration choosing Harpers Motors is the only reasonable alternative. I have had my rig for a year now. The vehicle is everything I expected and nothing I didn't want. I have been back to Harpers for a couple of regular services. I drove the vehicle off the lot with a full tank of gas the day I bought it and the first service was free. No surprises, no unwarranted attempts at upselling something I did not need. Courteous staff. Clean, comfortable customer lounge to wait in, or a ride to town. When shopping for the next vehicle for my family, our first stop will be at Harpers Motors.

Yes, I found Mr. Sturdy and the rest of the staff courteous and helpful. My Kia Rio had to be ordered as a 2015 since in what I wanted there were no 2014's available. I had to wait a month but was kept informed. Also Mr. Sturdy was helpful in getting me a real tire and rim with a jack. The car doesn't come with one. For me however, even if it came with one of those silly donuts I would have ordered a real tire anyway. So far I do like the car. A bit suprizing that the car indicates a shift needed at such low speeds and wants to be in 6th gear at about 40 miles per hour. Always at about 2000 rpm. This I assume is to save gas. But quite a bit of shifting. On the other hand it is easy to keep the 25 mph speed limit in town. The rear window could be a bit larger for better visability. However the car handles well and feels great to drive. My experience was enjoyable at your facility and I do like to shop local so I am happy you are here.SincerelyStephanie Haines

I can sincerely say that I look forward to bringing my Kia Optima in for it's regular oil change at Quick Lane service. Even though I only come in about every 3 months, Barry remembers me and treats me as a friend. His people skills are amazing. I just hope he doesn't wear himself out running from place to place. I never see him walk from the desk, to the waiting lounge, then to the cashier. The service was great and the staff very helpful when we recently purchased our 2015 Ford Fusion. The salesperson was "Andy". He was very patient and even returned after work to accommodate us. The person who drew up the contract papers was Antoine. He was very professional, thorough, and courteous as well. Could not ask for a better experience. Bill Sturdy worked on locating the desired vehicle for over a week and never lacked determination on satisfying the customer. He was very professional and personable upon arrival to take delivery of the vehicle.Not only was Bill great, Antoine Johnson in the finance department made things really smooth also. We recently moved to Humboldt County (California) and are very pleased with the service that we always receive at Harper Motors. Recently we took out 2003 Ford Explorer in for the "Works" service. This vehicle has 180,000 miles on it and it did not always receive the best of service from the dealer where we previously resided. This was the first time that we had taken our Explorer to Harpers. Barry Johnson, of Harper's Quick Lane service, did an excellent job of reviewing the condition of our Explorer with us and provided a detail explanation of the work that was performed. The staff at Harpers has always provided the best of service.

Ford Escape 2014. Lawrence Smith was our salesman. Lawrence listened to our concerns and needs as we expressed them found the perfect vehicle for us. He then made sure we learned about the vehicle's features and accessories, many of which were new to us. He also kept us informed as to the status of our finance and when it came time for 'delivery' of the vehicle, he presented it freshly washed with a full tank of gas.
