First time buying a used car from a dealer and I loved everything about my experience with Hawk VW! The salesman, Brad & Lukas were very accommodating and didn't try to haggle us when we told them our budget. We wanted to think about making the purchase first so I was able to speak with the Sam, the sales manager a few days later and we purchased the vehicle that day. It was a very comfortable process and I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Compared to other dealers we went to that week I felt very uncomfortable and pressured and they made us sit there for 2 hours just to figure out a price, other dealers would push any car on you just for you to buy from them but NOT at Hawk VW!! Great Service!!

This was my first car purchase. With the help of my daughter and Cars.com I was able to find a great Jetta with everything I wanted. But none of this would have been as easy as it was if it wasn't for Brad V. at Hawk VW. From the time I inquired about the vehicle to the time I came in Brad was so sincere and accommodating. Brad and Dave in Finance worked harder than they should've to get me my Jetta, and for that I'll always be grateful! I drove three hours to view a vehicle at this dealership. I spoke to April and was very impressed with her customer service and friendliness. There were a few issues with the vehicle and she did everything necessary to rectify them. As an example: there was a broken plastic window shade clip and the sales manager refused to include a new one in the cost. Well, April took it upon herself and promised to have it replaced in good faith. When my bank had communication issues that extended the buying process she, and the rest of the team, were very patient and understanding. Having been an out of state buyer and initially assuming the worst I was extremely satisfied with the service April provided to myself and my new car!! Thank you April! Carter G.

I shopped around quite a bit before buying my new GTI and Hawk was by far the best dealership that I went to. I sent a text message through their website about test driving two cars. April got back to me quickly and confirmed that she had both of the cars ready to show. She even texted me 30 minutes before my appointment to let me know she was ready and waiting for my arrival. Test driving was a breeze. She showed me every feature on the car and answered all of the questions I had. The credit approval process took about two minutes after the test drive. The next day I texted her an offer on the car and she got back to me within twenty minutes. I paid a very fair price compared to what I found online with minimum haggling. I picked the car up that day with no haggling or hidden fees. Roger was very friendly and made the financing portion of the process enjoyable.After I purchased the car April went over all of the features one more time and connected my phone to The Bluetooth for me. She made sure the car was spotless and introduced me to the service department as well. She goes above and beyond to treat her customers the best a dealership can.That same weekend I had a few questions about the car and got a call from April within 10 minutes answering my question. The next day I received a call from one of the managers as well who was just making sure that I was happy with the car. I highly recommend Hawk VW and April. You won't be disappointed. The next time I buy a car I'll be going back to them.

I cant speak highly enough of Hawk VW, and especially April Andresen. When My daughters car got t-boned by some idiot running a red light (thank god she was safe - that car did its job), I set out on a journey to find a good low mileage vehicle for her to drive. Hawk has an amazing inventory of only the highest quality, special - they wholesale the rest used vehicles. Far and away, Hawk had a car for me that stood well above the herd for overall value (in my case a 2011 Mini Cooper with 25K miles in excellent condition). April made my buying experience spectacular. I am an incredibly particular fellow when it comes to buying a used car (crawl under every nook and cranny with a flashlight, ask a million questions), and April cheerily answered my every question, never for a moment was she that pushy sales-person, and she was happy to spend the time I needed. April (and the shop guys) happily put the car on a lift for me when I asked and let me spend all the time I needed so I could go over it with a fine-toothed comb, and she seemed genuinely interested to explore it with me, April is a joy to work with and a complete breath of fresh air in the dealer market. Very knowledgeable about cars too, and you can tell she is a Car-Gal. Damian was a pleasure to work with as well, and knows the value of the high quality used cars they keep on the lot. Overall I can not speak highly enough of my time at Hawk. They made me feel like family, and Im just sorry that it is too far away from me (~ :45 mins) to bring the new (to us) 2011 Mini Cooper in on a regular basis for service as I feel they would be great choice.

I searched everywhere to find the car I wanted at the right price and the right dealer and salesperson to help me with the deal. From the moment I contacted April via email at Hawk VW in Joliet, I knew I had found the right place. So much so that I traveled from Central Arkansas to Chicagoland to finalize the purchase. April answered every question and attended to all of the details prior to my arrival and has since followed-up several times after the sale. A quick look at my new TDI Jetta, a hassle-free 10 minute finance office visit, and I was out the door. I probably sent out 50 inquiries to other VW dealers. April was the only one who responded with the professionalism I expected. I only wish they were closer to my home so I could take advantage of their service department. I highly recommend giving April a call when purchasing your next VW. We couldn't be happier with our purchasing decision or the service we received at Hawk Volkswagen.

I drove over an hour an a half to go to this dealership because they had the exact color and style of car I wanted. When I originally contacted them I figured they were going to be pushy like all the other dealerships but they really weren't. They were so wonderful to work with. They knew I was driving in, so they called and let me know the night before that my car was still available, and then they set it aside that day. When I got there everyone was so friendly. Not once was I hounded or pressured. I was always treated with respect. April is by far the best sales person I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Oh, and the finance guy, I forget his name, but he's hilarious! John in service is fabulous too. So nice. They made sure I knew how to use every button on my steering wheel and even helped me sync up my bluetooth before I left. There's a VW dealership in the city I live in, but this Dealership was totally worth the drive to get what I wanted, and the service was far above my expectation.

They told me my oil change would take an hour but it had taken over 2 and a half hours after I was told that it would be finished shortly. I say in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours and was not once offered a glass of water or apologized to for my ridiculous wait. There is no coffee in the room either so you couldn't serve yourself if you wanted to. Just a terrible experience.

We came in just to look at the Passat and low and behold we bought one, of course that is because my spouse does not shop around like I would have, we didn't even know what the going price was for this vehicle. Lauren was a great salesperson, she did not push us into buying it, I just wish I would have tried to lower the price down, although she said this was the best price. I would buy another car from Lauren but I would just work on getting the cost down. We are pleased with your dealership, I wish we would have bought the 2013 Passat SEL,but at the time the 0% was not offered.

What made my purchase simple was the outstanding customer service. The sales person (Martin) knew all aspects of the vehicle. These days, some dealers want to sell you the world even if you don't need it. Not D'Arcy VW! Martin not only understood the vehicle, but also made sure that it fit what I wanted and what I needed. When I first visited D'Arcy, Lauren Gall greeted me right away. She asked what I was interested in and showed me the Passat models I was interested in. She discussed the Jetta as a possibility. I was not ready to decide that day. Lauren did follow up with me, but was not pushy. She scheduled a time for me to take a test-drive of the Passat. She followed up after the purchase to see how I was doing with the car.I was initially drawn in by the 0%, 60 months financing offer. Got a 0%, 66 months financing offer, so I was also happy with that.

My wife has always had a dream to own a Volkswagen Beetle. So after doing some research on-line we went to DArcy Volkswagen in Joliet. The reason we chose DArcy Volkswagen was it is where we purchased our 2007 Volkswagen Jetta and we have been extremely pleased with the service they have provided us over the years. The service department has always been very professional and I feel the service we have received has been excellent. So I feel it was an easy decision to go back to the DArcy Dealership. What really made this buying experience enjoyable was our sales person Lauren Gall. Lauren greeted us outside as we were looking at the 2012 Beetles. From the start Lauren made us feel very comfortable. We told her what we were looking for and that it was our first time out looking at the Beetles. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the Beetle and all of its features. She asked us if we wanted to test drive one, and we were on the road very shortly in the trim level we wanted. During the test drive she continued to point out different features and answer our questions. After the test drive we went inside to talk about purchasing a Beetle. We were very pleased with the price they offered us for our trade-in as well as the price they wanted for the 2012 Beetle. They did not have the color we wanted in the trim level on the lot. They were able the locate one and have it there the next day, in the color and trim level we wanted. We were very impressed.This was by far the most enjoyable car buying experience we have ever had when purchasing a new car. The people at DArcy were very friendly and professional. As I stated earlier, Lauren made this car purchase enjoyable from the first greeting till we drove our 2012 Beetle off the lot. She made sure all our questions were answered and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Lauren even took time to call us at home after the sale to see how we liked our new Beetle and if we had any questions.I would definitely purchase another care from DArcy and I would definitely ask for Lauren. Darcy's is the ONLY place to shop for cars. My family has only bought cars from them for the last 20 years. Professional, courtesious, organized and non-haggling. Martin was great to work with and really did everything 110%. He crossed his T's and dotted his I's. I love my Passat, driving in it makes driving so much better. Nick Kinsella is also just as awesome and rose to the occassion to make my car purchase easy. I had exactly 24 hours to by a car before leaving for Thailand and between Martin and Nick, they got the job done. It was easy and I walked out happy. 3 months later, I still get in my car and verbally say how much I love it. During our search for a new car, my wife and I visited several dealerships and drove several cars. We ended up at D'Arcy VW in Joliet. During one of our visits, we met Martin V. I was at the point in my search where I had narrowed the choice down and was ready to test drive one of my choices. Martin went with us during our test drive of a new Jetta Sportwagen TDi. We headed out on the highway, which is where I needed the car to excel, as my round-trip commute is just short of 100 miles. My wife and I found Martin to be easy to talk with, as well as very knowledgeable about his chosen product. That ride decided both our automobile purchase and our dealership choice. When we went in to purchase the Sportwagen, we were both expecting the normal fight that we had experienced at all of our prior automobile purchases. We were pleasantly surprised. I told them where we needed to be from a monetary point of view and they met it. The closing was just as easy as the rest of the process. Yes, it took a while to fill out the paperwork, but there was absolutely no pressure to commit to anything unwanted. To say we are both pleased with our experience so far with DArcy VW is an understatement. We have been to the service department a couple times and are pleased with how that aspect is handled, as well. Purchasing our new VW Sportwagen TDi at D'Arcy VW was the best experience my wife and I have had purchasing a car, used or new.

I really wasn't sure if I was ready to buy a VW but Lauren helped me without being pushy and let me move the process as I desired. She doesn't give a hard sell, just listens and works to get a deal. Was dreading buying a vehicle because of hard sells in the past. Met with Lauren immediately upon arrival at the dealership and she was the total opposite of what I had expected. Lauren was friendly, low-key, no hard sell. Asked me some specific questions to tailor my car buying needs. She helped me compare the pros and cons of specific vehicles and even stayed past her shift to go through everything on the car that I purchased. I ended up buying a vehicle that I hadn't considered purchasing before my visit to the dealership and I could not be happier with my purchase! The finance department was awesome also! I went in with financing arranged and they were able to beat my financing by a little bit. She also followed up several times to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. I am soooooo happy with the car I purchased that I have already referred multiple people to D'Arcy. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to try them out for your next buying experience. Great experience from the time I drove on the lot to browse to when I rolled off the lot in my new TDI Jetta. The salesperson, Martin Vagena, did an excellent job of answering my questions and showcasing fulfilled my criteria for a new car. Martin did an excellent job of making sure I was well attended to without being pushy or overbearing. The finance and management team did a great job of putting together a great deal on my trade-in and my new car. Martin and his coworkers in finance, sales, management, and service all were wonderful to deal with. I have been doing business with D'Arcy Motors since 2001 so when I was thinking about purchasing a VW, I already knew the dealership I was going to do business with. When I went to D'Arcy VW, I was introduced to Lauren Gall. There were 2 models I was interested in. The Passat and the CC. Lauren arranged a test drive for both vehicles in which I could drive it home and keep both vehicles overnight. I chose the VW CC. My vehicle purchase was a true pleasure. Working together with Martin, I was able to find a vehicle that was a perfect fit for me. Detail oriented and well educated salesman with excellent communication skills, Martin seemed to care more about me than my purchase, and that's not been typical in my auto purchase history. I enjoyed spending time at the dealership and Martin took great care of me. From information to negotiations to the sale, Martin was professional and personable. Not once did I feel pressured or hounded.I was also able to work with Tom Sellars for the "tough" negotiations - and by tough - I mean EASY. Tom was straightforward, used plain speak and gave me the best price for my purchase and amount on my trade. Adding to my excellent interactions with Martin and Tom, I worked with Phil Gomez during financing. Phil was relentless in finding me the right financing, even calling me the week after my purchase with good news that he had found me a lower interest rate loan! I stopped in the dealership to look at a Jetta TDI. I wasn`t really looking to buy a new car but Lauren took the time to show me several different cars,explaining the benifits of each car. I was able to drive a couple of different cars and ended up choosing a Passat se.Lauren asked what would it take to make a deal.I gave her a payment and she came back with a lower number,never once pressuring us regardless of how many times I flipped from car to car. I chose a the Passat se demo,and after putting numbers together I was told I gave the wrong payoff figure on my trade and the numbers would change,at that point,the finance manager,Phil Gomez took over and worked on the figures and kept the affordable. After signing the contract, Lauren took my wife and I into the service bay and showed us how to use all the features of the car. I took the car home,I noticed some things were missing. (The car was a Demo) I called Lauren later in the day and she made sure the missing items were replaced at no charge. I am 51 years old and have been buying cars since I was 16,never before have I been treated so well. Since the day I brought the car home,Lauren has called several times to make sure I`m not having any problems and has even set up my first service apointment.

My family has purchased many cars over the years at Darcy Motors. This was my first time visiting their new Volkswagen dealership. When I arrived to look at different vehicles, I was greeted with a smile by Lauren Gall. She helped me make a decision as to what vehicle was going to be the best fit for our family. When we decided on which vehicle we were going to purchase, Lauren explained everything inside and out and was sure we had no questions when we were driving away in our new Routan. It's the little things Lauren did to go above and beyond her job as a sales rep that really mean a lot to people, she helped me with the 4 children I had in tow the day we were switching from our old vehicle to the new. She moved car seats, carried kids etc. I can't say enough good things about her. The other thing that I thought was awesome that she did was, she had set up my blue tooth before I left and when I was half home, she called me just to test it out and to be sure it was working! Then, the day after we purchased our van, she called me and set up my 45 day check for us. Which I also thought was great! I will refer anyone I know looking for a vehicle to Lauren Gall at D'Arcy Motors.
