Typically purchasing a car is not enjoyable. Big Tex (Bill) Wyatt and Edson Perez made the purchase of my Jeep very easy and comfortable. They worked on the financing so that I could maintain the preferred monthly cost and helped choose the right car for me. It was pouring rain and Big Tex covered me with his umbrella while he was getting soaked! Great place to purchase a car!

Gene Smith is rated number 1 for a reason! He is respectful, genuine and knows his customers. I first met him as my boyfriend leased a car from him. 2 years later I was back looking to purchase my own new car and he remembered not just meeting me but exactly what came of our meeting. When I shopped other dealer ships I was lucky to have a salesman introduce himself to me let alone get the service Gene provides. After contemplating my buy for a couple weeks, I returned to Gene and Helfman because they "spoiled" me with superb customer service. As a first time car buyer, the bar has been set pretty high. My family has bought 4 cars from Helfman even though we pass 3 other dodge dealshipers on our way. The customer service and honest salesmanship keep us coming back. Today my family and I went in to check out a new jeep we really just planned on looking. We were greeted by Gene Smith when we walked in. He seemed very excited to help us. He made it seem like he wasn't interested in just making a deal but really getting to know us and what we needed. He worked on a deal for us on a new jeep and made it so easy. We have been to many dealerships where they go back and forth and work on the deal he went 1 time came back with an offer we didn't like told him what we needed to make the deal happen. In less than 5 minutes he came back and shook out hand and said congratulations. Gene was the main reason we even decided to stay and get the deal. He even carried my 10 month old while me and my wife talked and signed some paperwork. He gave my other 2 daughters pizza and waters. Hands down one of the best buying experiences we have had purchasing a vehicle and I know Gene Smith played a big role. My wife loves her new jeep and we left happy. I would highly recommend this Dodge dealership. My purchase experience was Top Notch. Never did I experience the typical high pressure sales gimmicks. My sales associate was a nice friendly young man named Jesse Sepulveda who from the very beginning was terrific, helpful and knowledgeable. After careful consideration I decided to drive out of my way & go with this dealership to special order my new 2016 Challenger SRT 392 from Jesse and his new car sales team. They sold me my dream car at a great price and it arrived from Dodge when promised. My new Challenger SRT is an absolute awesome muscle car!! I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. So I called and visited many different dealerships in search of the best deal. I was fortunate enough to reach Gene Smith at Helfman Dodge. First and foremost, he answered the phone with so much poise and professionalism. Not to mention, his voice, well let's just say I could not wait to match a face with his soothing voice. So I traveled to Helfman Dodge and was greeted by this EXTRA tall, well dressed, HANDSOME gentleman. He greeted me as if we had known each other for years, I only wish! I already have a 2014 Grand Cherokee, and came into the dealer to see about a better interest rate. I had the great fortune to have Gene Smith as my personal sales person. I say "personal" because that is exactly what my car buying experience was (bought a 2016 Jeep BTW). From the moment he said "hello, how may I help you?" it was clear he was not your ordinary sales person. When I stepped into his office I was immediately impressed with the wall(s) of hand written quotes of inspiration, hope, caring, and emoting a positive outlook on life, not your ordinary salesman. Then there were the numerous pictures with celebrities, social icons, and everyday people like myself who have had the pleasure of coming in contact him, again, not your ordinary salesman. Then there is his personally which direct reflects what you see in his office. Like his office he was warm, personal, and even shared some of his own personal stories (not your ordinary salesman), basically you felt like you were the only person there that mattered (did I mention his office is glass?!). So to sum this up. The bad rep that car salesman have gotten, has been singularly debunked. Gene Smith is not your ordinary salesman, and I hope Helfman is fully aware of the asset they have. I don't usually give reviews, don't really facebook, twitter, snapchat or any of the other social media outlets people use. But I felt compelled to share my experience. If you are looking to buy a car, and you're shopping here, ask for Gene Smith, he's not your ordinary salesman.

I recently purchased my new Jeep Renegade Trailhawk from Gene Smith at Helfman Jeep. It was a simple, efficient, and enjoyable experience. On a Friday I found the vehicle online and went to see it. I was greeted by Gene who showed me the car and we set up a test drive for the next day. I went and drove it, loved it, began the paperwork and drove home in my new jeep that same day. I am not the easiest of customers when it comes to vehicles but Gene and I worked through the obstacles and I am more than pleased with both the jeep and my monthly payment. excellent from start to finish- gene smith rocks! he did everything he could to make sure i was not only happy with the jeep, but that it was exactly what i wanted. never at any point did i feel pressured to buy. In fact it was quite the opposite. he was very patient with me, especially on Friday night as they were closing up for the night. Since it was after closing on Friday and finance had gone home for the day, he worked with my schedule to be there first thing in the morning so we could complete the sale. I will recommend gene to anyone i know wanting to buy a car and i will definitely buy from him again when looking to make another purchase.

My girlfriend and I bought a Jeep Latitude from Helfman Dodge last year and didn't have the best of buying experiences. I got a great deal but the buying process left a lot to be desired mostly because they made us wait unattended or unexplained for so long. This year it was my turn because my lease was expiring on my Honda Pilot and I really wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Let say that Gene Smith, Carlos Rivera, and the guys over that Helfman Dodge must have been listening to the feedback given because the buying process this time around was a complete 180 degree turnaround from last year's experience. I went into the dodge dealership to look at a specific truck and I saw a lot of nice trucks so it make my decision harder. I had a lot of questions and wound up being the last customer there, but Gene Smith And the other individuals helping me were very patient with everything. I eventually had to got back in the morning because it got to late to finish my paper work but everyone was just as helpful in the morning. After all I needed a cosigner after I had been dropped off in the morning however they made this very easy on me when I signed all My paper work and Mr. Smith and a new salesman he was training came to my house with me to finish everything which left me at my house with my new truck when everything was finished. Went to Helfman due to the availability of a specific Jeep Wrangler Unlimited they had in stock. Waited for a salesman since it was busy on a Saturday. Gene Smith is the man to talk to. He was enjoyable to deal with and made the process relatively quick. Was in an out of the dealership with a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in about 3 hours. The only negative came when I had to deal with the finance department and they tried to charge me more on tax due to the fact that the trade in was under my mom's name. After talking with the sales manager, the issue was resolved. Other than that mishap, the experience was great.

I was originally referred to Helfman by a co worker almost a year ago, but wasn't as ready to buy. I wanted to be sure of the vehicle I was interested in prior to really shopping. When I was ready to buy, I admit I didn't rush right over to Helfman but I should have. Other dealerships did not have the variety of units/ packages to choose from or they were really dragging out the process of purchasing a vehicle. When I did make my way to Helfman, I knew immediately why they were so highly recommended. Within an hour I had what is now my newly owned vehicle on its way to detail. Their service was expedient and very consumer friendly! Things happened so fast and so well, I had to run everything past the misses and sleep on it myself. The next day, I called Gene; the Sales associate who assisted me, and I confirmed my interest and set appointment to return and finish paperwork. Gene proceeded to inform me that he would be out to my residence personally to pick me up! We returned to the Showroom were my jeep and finance manager were ready to go. All together it was an excellent experience and I would certainly refer Helfman to the next Jeep, Chrysler, or Dodge buyer I know. Thanks Gene. Thanks Helfman. Happy Holidays.

I came in looking for my first new car. Helfman was my second stop. The first place I went, I was underwhelmed by their enthusiasm and help. When I walked into Helfman, this tall, well-dressed man came up to me, my mom, and my aunt with a friendly hand extended. We went to his office filled with inspirational quotes and pictures of friends and family. I told him what kind of Jeep I was looking for and my budget. Gene took us all over the lot showing us my options. He was patient, extremely helpful and worked within my means. I really appreciated that. I found a Jeep I loved, but was in a time crunch. Gene offered to stay an hour late after work so I could come back. I didn't want him to work late so we met the next morning. When me and my mom came that morning, Gene had everything ready. I tell you I've had a harder time buying a sweater than I did purchasing this car. Gene made the experience fun, informative, within my budget, and easy to close. I purchased a 2016 Challenger Hellcat today and I couldn't be happier. The car is not an easy one to find, especially not one that is the exact color I was looking for with all of the add on's that I wanted. Gene met me at the front door and within minutes, I was looking at the car of my dreams. The service was fantastic, the faculty was clean and new, and the buying process was very straight forward. There was a dealer mark up for the car but we managed to work out a down payment and monthly payment plan that satisfied both parties in a relatively short period. My daughter and I walked into this dealership on Saturday Oct 31st and were greeted by Gene Smith at the door. A very kind, gentle and respectful person who actually listened to what we had in mind, understood we had done our research and focused on getting as close to meeting our needs with a vehicle as possible. This did not only include the inventory on the lot but he and his manager (Keith Ahrens) took the time to search the entire state of TX for vehicles that could be of interest. Since the new Jeep was for my daughter, Gene was careful to include her in the conversations and also wanted to understand what was important to all of us. When asked he offered his opinion in an unbiased manner. He has good command of the process and knowledge of the product. Since I was quite familiar with the vehicle he was able to focus on some details that I was not aware of and also explain differences between the 2015 and 2016 year models. I had a corporate discount plan which the dealership was happy to honor so there was not much negotiating. There was a trade in involved with some negotiating there, in which Gene facilitated us getting a fair value. All departments we dealt with at this dealership were respectful of our time and in the end we drove out in the new car in less than 4 hours (with more than half of that time spent on us trying to decide what we wanted, test driving vehicles etc). My daughter is delighted with the car and my wife and I are happy with all the safety features and the upgrades the vehicles has. We have bought other cars from Helfman before but first time from this location, which will clearly become our #1 preference. I would recommend this dealership and more so the sales person we dealt with, Gene Smith.

This might have been the easiest car we've ever bought. We went in, with our kids, walked the lot, test drove and then had to leave to make a soccer game. The rest of the deal was done thru emails with Gene Smith and his sales manager Miguel Peralta. Buying a car this way might not be for everyone one but Gene made us feel comfortable from the time we walked through the door to the time I picked up the car. He didn't once hesitate to accommodate our kids and was completely understanding when we told him that our schedules wouldn't allow us to stick around and that he should email pricing, specifications and availability to us. You want to talk about ' no haggle'. We didn't once sit in a cubical or have Gene go back and forth to Miguel to negotiate price and waste hours of everyone's time. In all we probably spent a total of an hour and fifteen minute at the dealer including test drive, paperwork and drive out. Outside of buying cars commercially I think that's pretty painless. Great experience.

The weather was pretty crappy raining cats and dogs. But The experience was very very pleasant. Received a quote from the Internet manager earlier in the week when I arrived they honored it with no haggling or trying to add on this and that. The only add-ons for the two that I added a tow hitch and running boards that the aftermarket manager busted her a$$ to get installed for me before I took delivery . Our overall experience at this dealership was amazing! I have to say it was worth the 45 minute drive. As soon as we walked in, Gene Smith came up to us (by the way, you cant miss him) and offered his help. We went into his office and he asked what we were looking for. I initially spoke with Gene via telephone and informed him of exactly what I was seeking. He assisted me in finding the perfect Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, I had a deal with Joshua Smith to purchase a 2010 Tundra on 7/6/2010 and went there after work. When I arrived at the dealership he had Mary greet us and show the vehicle, she was great and took us on the test drive. Upon our return she did the paperwork to purchase, I provided them the pre-approval letter and executed the intent to purchase document. I have always been allowed to drive the vehicle from the lot on my previous purchases from other rebutable dealerships. The following day come to my surprise I receive a phone call from Mr. Smith who informed me the vehicle was sold that morning, I told him how could that occur if we signed the paperwork to purchase and he had my pre-approval letter the night before. All said and done this is NOT a dealedship I would recommend!!

Growing up, my family have always purchased Lexus BMW and Mercedes. My first American car was a Ford Mustang in 2012. Then bought a Z06 Corvette last year. As of two days ago, I was set on buying the 2015 Ford F-150. I have always wanted a nice Ford truck for some time. My mother currently has a Lexus RX350 F Sport. She suggested I look at some SUVs since it's something I never had. So the plan was to check out the Jeep Grand Cherokee before going to find and purchase an F-150, just to see what it's about. (I did not have any plans to buy a Jeep, was supposed to just go look). I randomly picked Helfman Jeep to visit. Didn't look at any reviews or Internet feedback. Just went there. I parked in front of their main building and walked inside. The receptionist asked me if I needed some help, and I just mentioned that I was interested in finding out some information about the new grand Cherokee. She said "one sec" and exactly 2 seconds later comes 7 foot Gene Smith with a smile and a very warming introduction with a great handshake. Already had a good feeling about this guy. Explained to him that I was looking at some grand Cherokees and we started walking out to the lot to look at inventory. Told him what color and options I was looking for. We found the exact one I was looking for. Took it for a test drive. Sat in the jeep for some time talking about all the features the jeep has to offer. Gene was so informative. Giving me details in pieces to not overload me. He was never "pushy" for the two hours I was there. We proceeded to walk back inside and talk numbers. When I usually negotiate pricing with salesmen, I feel like they are always trying to go against me. But I felt Gene was always in my corner. We ended up finding the right price and went ahead and purchased the new Jeep. He had it all gassed up and detailed by the time I was done signing papers. Gene is definitely someone I will always recommend and look forward to doing lifelong business with him. He's pretty much the next best thing to sliced bread ;) you're a good man Gene! I bought a used 2011 Jeep Wrangler here a few weeks ago, right before the holidays. The night I was there buying it with Randy Lilly he stayed late and answered every question I had and got me signed away and headed home. However, after I had it for a few days I noticed a few very small problems with it. The USB port was broken, the window lock didnt work, and one of the hinge covers on the back glass was missing. I called Randy within 5 days (after a weekend out of town) after I bought it trying to talk to him about getting it fixed and if the dealership would do it for free. (at least the USB repair) I had difficulty getting ahold of him and after talking to a rude manager he got back to me. He told me I had to come in between the hours of 9-4, yet I work those hours. I asked if they'd be in on January 1st since I was off that day and he assured me they would be. I arrive on the 1st about 2 PM to be told the service team was never in and the sales team had been released early since they had no appointments. I was told this by a manger named Jason who I made my complaints to about Randy tassuring me they'd be there. Promptly at 9AM the next day Randy called me to see what had happened and asked if I could come back. He apoligized not knowing that no one would be in. I was out of town for the weekend and work during the week. I live about 45 mins away and Randy seemed to want to try to set something up to help me. However, he never called me back that afternoon and I called him again at 6:15PM to see what he had figured out. He had not seemed to figure anything out and said maybe he could come get my vehichle to fix it while I was at work during the day. By this time I have decided to not worry abut the little things and take my business else where if I decide to fix them. I have still not received any call back from Randy or the manager Jason to check on me. One other last note, after having the Jeep for a few weeks I found out Randy did not know much about the vehichle the night I bought it. I had asked him if it had a USB port to charge my phone with and he told me no, but that I had these other options. Come to find out not only do I have the broken USB port, there is one in the console. Also there was after market off roading lights on the front of the jeep. That night I was buying I asked Randy how to work them/turn them on. He couldnt seem to figure it out and pointed at a cord on the drivers side that he suspected was the to the lights. However, after looking into it on my own I was able to find the actual connection for the lights on the passenger side and the button for them inside the cab. The random cords he had pointed to were for a winch hookup. I feel like a salesman should know a bit more about the vehichle he is trying to sale. Obviously I will not be taking my business back here.

I originally had an approval through my credit union and the representatives at Helfman told me that they could get me a better interest rate. At first I was hesitant because I have had horrible dealership experiences in the past and was lied to so I really did not want them to run my credit again and send it off to numerous banks and have it ran again over and over. However, I finally took Gene and Miguel's word for it and gave it a try and Miguel promised me that he would only have it ran once and send it off. That is exactly what happened my credit was ran once and I had an instant approval. Within an hour Gene called me and told me to come pick up my jeep and sign my papers. I received a lower interest rate as I was told and a great deal on my jeep. I was so impressed how fast everything went and how honest they were. Everything I was told was true and it was unbelievable. Im still shocked today on how quickly and professional they were. There was no sitting in the dealership for hours waiting and no misinformed information given. I could say so much more but I will just say this was the best car dealership experience that I have ever experienced and I will definitely refer people their way and I will definitely give them my business again. I actually went in to voice a complaint, about a recently purchased vehicle option, I didn't anticipate much could be done about it, but I felt the need to be heard. I was pleasantly surprised when Jason Feldman listened to my concern, came up with a solution and asked me to meet with Gene Smith. Well, any concerns I had when I arrived were quickly but to rest. Gene allowed me as much time as I needed, communicated information clearly, is a joy to be around, and at the end of the day I could not have been more pleased. Quick and painless. Gene Smith made it easy to get a brand new Chrysler 200 and drive it home ASAP. Last summer I had the pleasure of purchasing a 2013 Dodge Journey. Gene Smith was my sales person. His commitment to excellence is apparent in all he does. From the small details to his knowledge. He is a genuine, hard working man who loves what he does. I was apprehensive about my first ever car buying experience and I had all 5 of my kids with me. He reassured me with answers to all my questions. He even took the kids on a guided tour of the facility on the golf cart - they LOVED it. I wanted to trade my car in because I didn't like paying a note on a car I wasn't completely satisfied with. I also knew that where ever I decided to trade my car in, I would have to put down a good amount of money due to the negative equity on my car. Last week I walked into Helfman Dodge with an upside down situation. I didn't think I could really get a brand new car because I was upside down on the vehicle I owned. The price of the vehicle was less than the price that I owed once my vehicle was appraised, but Gene Smith made things happen. On my journey to find a new car, every salesman I came across told me it would be hard for me to get into a vehicle, but Mr. Smith didn't allow me to say no. Last week I walked out of Helfman Dodge with a brand new vehicle with little money down, a decent car payment, warranties, discounts and a high appraisal for my trade-in. My husband and I had been searching for a truck for our son. We needed something with decent gas mileage. We had been looking at dealerships in the Tomball area and Northwest Houston area for three days. We had been put through the wringer and were so tired of the games that some dealerships play. My husband went to Helfman Dodge and was greeted my Gene Smith. He told Gene this is what I'm looking for, this is what I want to pay. Gene Smith said I can help you with that and showed my husband the truck. My husband called me and told me that he found the truck to come on down and check it out. When I got there apprx. 1 hour later I was greeted my Gene. He was so polite, friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about meeting our needs. He had the perfect truck for our son. The price was right. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy, nor was he playing any games. He took us to financing and we drove away in with the truck in less than 3 hours and that included waiting on me to get there with our son. I will not even consider another dealership and will insist on Gene Smith for our next vehicle purchase.

Gene Smith is great. He greeted us with the BIGGEST smile on his face when we came in the door and was very professional. He took us in and got to know us. He was wondering what we did for a living and wanted to know exactly what we were looking for. He made sure he understood us and out needs/desires before he tried to sell us anything. He took us out and lead us directly to a car in our price range. He didn't show us things he knew we couldn't afford. He was relaxed and just answered our questions. We told him he wanted to look other places but that we would give him an update by the end of the day. We went down to another dealership and the customer service was HORRIBLE. I have driven this brand of car for a decade and have loved it, but the sales guy at this particular dealership was awful. Since we were there we took a look at the cars, but he gave us a limit on mileage and didn't seem to know much about the car. This lead us right back to Gene. We were able to get a great deal on our trade in (3x more than expected) so we weighed that against getting a little bit more expensive of a car. We walked out of there with a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have loved it. Thanks Gene. We still hope to see you on a Sunday :) As far as facilities go-- the waiting room could definitely be nicer. It was a little cold and uncomfortable. I felt that they felt they had gotten our business and didn't need to try anymore, to make the waiting room nice. That could be improved for sure.

I'm new to the Houston area, transplanted from Tennessee. I needed a dealer that I could trust in Houston and sincerely thought that i had one until this issue happened. I bought my 2013 Ram 4 door dually, used, with 13000 miles on it from Helfman Dodge. Drove it to Tennessee a month later when the service fuel system light comes on. I carry it to the dealership there, both fuel filters stopped up at 16000 miles. I had it fixed, $280.00, saved my receipt. Spoke to the service manager and the used car manager at Helfman and asked that they cover half the bill, $140.00, since it was kind of a gray area. They promptly told me that it wasn't their problem as the fuel filters were supposed to be changed at 15000 miles and since it only had 13000 miles on it when I bought it, it was my problem not theirs. They made no effort to work with me, or to make things right with me. I'd have been satisfied if they just offered to change them for me next time. I typically trade twice per year and this is by far the WORST customer service that I have ever had at any dealership. If there was a way to give a negative customer service rating and take stars away, I would do it. The buying process was fine, Josh Smith was great thru the whole purchase side and would use him again at any other dealership.In 2 months, I'll be trading again for my next ride, it will NOT be with this dealership. I am a sales professional myself. If I treated my customers this way, I wouldn't have any.

My wife and I were in the market for a newer jeep, since mine was starting to get a little too old for me to take care of all the repairs on my own. We visited on Monday to just look at pricing and see the vehicle with our own eyes, not just internet pics. When we went back on Saturday our intention and wishes were to trade in my old jeep for a newer jeep. That is exactly what we got! As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Gary Gilman, who in our opinions was an incredibly helpful individual. He did not come off as a salesman to us at all. Now we were just there to get a price on my jeep and weigh the options. Perhaps go to a different dealer and check their prices, but the staff at helfman made it completely unnecessary. They were more than helpful at working with our demands and will be recommending others to visit them.

I was shopping for a 1 or 2 year old Dodge truck, I chose Helfman because I bought my current 2003 Ram there 10 years ago and got a good deal on it brand new. I am a diligent shopper and an absolute mizer for a good deal. I visited the used car lot at Helfman 2 to 3 times a week for over two months. I met and talked to 6 different salesmen over the 2 months, and was not overly impressed by any of them until I met Gary Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert made a strong impression on me from the first time we talked, and I knew very quickly this was the guy I wanted to deal with. Gary and I visited and talked deals 6 or 7 times after that before I got the deal I was looking for. At every step Mr. Gilbert showed immense patience, was NEVER pushy, knew his product, down to the details of the difference between the rear suspension on my 2003 and that of the newer coil suspension on the 2012 ! Gary got me more for my trade in when I was unhappy with the appraisal, Gary got money knocked off the price of the new truck when I felt like it could be lower, throughout the process I felt he was bending over backwards to get me the best deal he could. He was respectful and a consummate gentleman from start to finish. Not to disparage the other salesmen, but none of them are even in the same class as Gary Gilbert, he provided the most easy going and painless auto buying experience I have ever had and got me a great deal as well ! FIrst things first, I got a good deal on the pre-owned RAM 1500 Crew Cab I purchased this weekend. I looked at DOZENS of trucks online. Theirs was priced better than any other dealers. Gary Gilbert helped me with my purchase. Gary's got a great way with people. He isn't overbearing. He's a great listener. I know he sells cars for a living, but I came away feeling like he was only interested in selling me my truck if it was right for me (it was). I was on the fence initially, but Gary and Helfman worked hard to earn my business. Their "problem solving" with regard to the lack of running boards made a big difference for me. Great walkthrough of the vehicle after the purchase. It was clear Gary didn't just "have to" do the walkthrough, he wanted to make sure I got the most out of my new truck. I learned a few things! Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I had a great experience in the finance department. That's never been true for me prior to this weekend. Carlos was patient, professional and informative. Also, he was quick which was great. It's like they knew I wanted to get on with my day. :) This was my second purchase from Helfman - one new, and now one pre-owned. And I live in Jersey Village! I've had a little challenge to get my 3000 from another dealer in town(in another word No Sale), and a week later I found myself on front of Helfman gate for another trial in getting the car that I got really attached to. Two things I had in mind when i before entering dealer, (1) Am I going to get another hard inquiry for nothing or (2) get a deal with 1.9% APR which is against my plan, desire, and value. So i prepared myself for little disappointment. Remember! all that was just on the gate. The moment I stepped in i was warmly welcomed by Erik, he is a junior sale man, but he GOT IT ALL. He was very welcoming and sincere. Then i he took me to Keith, the sales manager. He was very helpful, and he tried his best in giving the finance plan that i wanted. He called the loaner, and did everything possible to make that deal happen. Briefly, I've seen many dealers the past 2 months, but going to the Helfman for me felt like walking into my friends house. My father and I had an excellent experience buying an Nissan Maxima S. Our salesman, Armando Luna, was very helpful, informative and very professional. There was no waiting time for Mr. Luna to assist us in browsing through their certified used cars lot. Even if you have to leave the dealership for personal reasons (like we had to) for some time, it is ok because you don't have to worry if things aren't running smoothly. If any questions arise, they'll contact you directly to clear up any confusion or questions they have. After we arrived back at the dealership, Mr. Luna had already communicated with the financing department about our financing options and greeted us with a test drive of the car. Once that was completed, we spoke on the financing options and were personally walked to the financing department. Again, the financing gentlemen was also informative and very helpful. Once the signatures were signed on the dotted lines, I received some helpful advice on being a 1st time car owner. It was unexpected but gratefully welcomed because I can learn from someone else's life experiences. Then FINALLY, I got my car. :) The whole experience took about 3 hours but I do not regret any of it. It was such a smooth experience for me that this dealership may be the ONLY one I purchase automobiles from in the future. In addition, I highly recommend that you work with Armando Luna for your certified used car or truck purchases. You will not be disappointed. I recently purchased a 2013 Chrysler 300S from this dealership. I was actually not looking forward to buying a new car because in the past I've had bad experience with high-pressure car dealers who constantly call you and play games with the pricing. However at Helfman this was not the case. I was enthusiastically met by the salesman (Juan Velasquez) who was extremely knowledgeable about the car. During the test drive he suggested roads that would show off the car's performance. He didn't pressure me. I had done my homework about the car and current pricing; the information he gave me was correct and honest. He didn't call me all the time. We did negotiated a little and settled on a price. After we came to agreement, the car was ready when he said it would be. That's about all I can ask for from a car dealer - know your product, offer fair pricing and deal honestly. I am happy and would refer anyone to this dealer and to Juan in particular

Not so many things can surprise me anymore but my recent purchase of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at this dealership really did. I purchased a 2013 from Randall Acosta and Keith Ahrens from Helfman dodge by Ikea last week. I generally cannot stand dealing with car salesman but these two gentleman changed my opinion. I was trying to purchase a challenger from another dealer and they were doing he usual bad trade in, bad interest rate, etc. While I was at that dealership I got an email from Keith and he said I will beat everything they are offering if I came now. I went straight over during my lunch break and I am so glad. They gave me everything I was asking for and got me a fully loaded Challenger for what I was willing to pay. Randall was outstanding to work with and really took his time to explain everything about the car and the system. I will be buying my next car with these guys.

Yesterday i purchased a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland. black with dark blue interior and Technology Package. I also added the chrome side steps.. Who cares right? I'm just very excited about this car Anyways, I had a good car buying experience. They were very flexible and patient with my demands. I happen to be very picky and chose the black interior then after further research came back the next day and asked to change to the blue seats with brown. They searched and found a car for me. No complains. often dealers are excessively aggressive, rude and try to take advantage of buyers but once you signed the papers they couldnt care less. This was not one of those dealers. I recommend this place and particularly recommend Gene smith the salesman who attended us.

We met with Mary, very nice salesperson. We were told by Mary that on this vehicle - the manager did not want to negotiate the price. Mary or the manager suggested for us to talk to finance and maybe they could do something. The finance guy was a clown. He took out coins to show us the difference in his loan and the loan we already had pre-approval on! He was also rude and told us, "I guess you didn't come to buy a car today." Then hollered on the loud speaker for someone to come to his office and he was done! Then we talked to JD. He then told us that the manager has no room to bargain the price on this vehicle and "with the internet today, there is no bargaining anymore like they used to do," making it sound like customers don't like to bargain anymore and neither do car dealers. He talked down to us as if we were uneducated and did not understand how deals go down today. He was rude and offered not a penny off the price. My wife was so upset that she called and tried to talk to the manager, but he just apologized and also offered nothing for our hours spent going to and being played at the dealership.

I'm a salesman, and I run from car sales, and only visit lots when they are closed. I always feel like I'm going to be pressured to make decisions I'm not comfortable with making. I wrote Helfman internet sales for a price quote on a new Grand Cherokee. I had a quote back within an hour from Brian and Randell that beat quotes I had gotten from other dealers after hours of arguing and negotiation. We went to the dealer the next day, and Randell and Brian spent a huge amount of time with us going over the cars, letting us drive them, answering questions, and generally taking up their afternoon; without a complaint. We went back a couple more times. They never became short or irritated with me or my daughter, again driving an SUV and asking more questions. When my daughter had decided what she wanted, we went back, got a very good price on our trade in, and Brian even asked if I was affiliated with anyone in order to get an additional discount; which we did! When's the last time a car salesman tried to save you money!!! I read where car salesman have the lowest confidence rating of customers, 5%, of any profession. Brian and Randell are definitely not in that category! Now I'm ready to go back and trade in my personal car for my own Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Went in on Friday after work. Was really just looking to see what they had. Alec Rosenbaum helped me to fid the car I wanted. I explained that I was just looking, and wanted see what they had. Alec offered to bring the cars to me, but we walked the lot, looking at all the cars. He told me bout the cars. On Saturday morning, I had an email from Alec giving me three different options on Jeeps I might be interested in. I went back on Saturday afternoon and bought the Grand Cherokee! I went here to get my oil changed. I went on Monday and the service tech said they were very busy and it would take 2 hrs so I came back on Tuesday when he said they would be less busy. When I got here it didn't look busy at all. As I'm writing this I've now been waiting for 1 hr 30 min... To get my oil changed. They offer a 'buy-your-first, get-your-next-two-free' deal on oil changes but I doubt I'll be coming back, I don't want to go through this again. And I'm a broke college student so that's saying something. Also I am STARVING and there's no complementary cookies, coffee, water, nothing...

BUY YOUR NEW CAR FROM KEITH AHRENS AND MARK FREEMAN AT HELFMAN DODGE AND JEEP! I could purchase and haggle the car anywhere in Houston, but I needed a dealership with the best service, all around. I am so proud to say that I am a VERY happy owner of a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Helfman. When we arrived, we were so fortunate to be approached by Mark Freeman. He wasn annoying, he wasn creepy, he wasn pushy and he wasn deceitful. Instead, he was friendly, helpful, and informative and seemed happy to work hard for us. He listened to what we wanted and learned WHY it was important to us, spent a lot of time with us, really showing us the car. Every little detail about it. When we test drove it, instead of just sitting in the seat awkwardly, he had us test this button, or that feature so that we could really get a feel for the Jeep options and even had us take a detour down a super torn up road so that we could experience how smooth the Jeep rode. We worked on pricing a little at the dealership, but left to compare the other vehicle we were interested in and sleep on the decision. Never once were they intimidating or over-bearing and never once did they act annoyed that we hadn purchased. After a couple of days, we knew we needed to go with the Jeep. Again we went back to check it out and again Mark spent time really going through the Jeep. His knowledge was impressive, even down to the Jeep history and how it was made. He knew the answer to every single question and his enthusiasm is contagious. He never once seemed tired even though he had a long day and never once did he seem annoyed that we hadn purchased yet. He gave us his 100% each time we were in contact. Helfman is super friendly, they want to please their clients, they want to help get you in the vehicle they are interested in and work hard to get you competitive pricing. Helfman gave us a competitive interest rate and Carlos in financing was efficient, friendly and easy to work with. We never once felt uncomfortable or deceived or pushed in ways we didn want to be. Keith Ahrens is the Sales Manager there and truly gave us excellent service. He also spent quite a bit of time with us, understanding why we wanted the car we wanted, he listened to what we needed in terms of pricing, he was always very responsive when we needed him to be but not pushy or obnoxious when we needed space. He is polite and goes above and beyond to deliver first-class service to his clients and make sure they are 100% satisfied. He worked with us in pricing, answering questions and continued the great service even after the deal was sealed. Helfman impressive level of excellence continued as we noticed a broken button on the Jeep. I wanted to know why it was broken and why so quickly. But every single person I encountered at Jeep, made it right. I asked to speak with Keith about it, but he wasn there yet, so another Manager Josh, took the time to listen to why I was upset, even though he had never met us, and assured me that this was just a fluke, explained why the Jeep was such an awesome choice and he was kind and understanding. He got in contact with Keith immediately and right when Keith came to work, he too, came to apologize, listened to why I wasn happy and assured me that I had made the right choice and that it never happens, and went over to the service department to make sure I was taken care of. The service guys, Glenn and Bob were fantastic, very friendly and efficient. Just did what they needed to do. Offered me a shuttle ride to work and offered to take care of a rental for me if I needed it instead. Of course, they were all over the job and it was going to be fixed in a jiffy- I didn even have an appointment, but they knew I wasn happy and they fit me in

The used car I was looking for happened to be at this dealership. The salesman was friendly but had no knowledge about the car. The dealership negotiated absolutely nothing. It should be worth at least a few dollars or some other consideration to let the customer walk away with at least some sense of accomplishment. I think this dealership is just not well-managed. The person at the finance department, however, was very good.

I bought a 40K Used vehicle from Helfman . I asked the salesman to please have the air pressure in the tires checked and to fill it with gas ( while I was signing the papers ) The paper work took nearly an hour and a half - I had the title to my trade and paid the diffrence in cash . Took way too long ,they did not care about the time it took . I finished the paper work and returned to the sales office . I was advised the new car was next to my trade so I could move my things . I asked for a box or a trash bag , they did not have any . I moved my thing and gave the dealer my keys , I ask if they had filled it with gas and checked the tires ? Yes all was done . The salesman did not even say thank you . I drove my new used car home , on the way I notice the gas was at 1/4 tank and using the onboard computer I checked the tires , the pressures veried widely 45 ,31 front 35 and 29 in the rear . I went back and asked . I was then told "we dont fill more than 1/4 tank of gas" and " I dont have an air gauge " Left very unhappy with dealer / Love my new used car . Also my trade had been in a very minor accident , a dent to the rear bumper . stopped at a light the veh. behind rolled into me , cop was right behind the car and wrote a ticket and accident report . Helfman told me they could not sell my car as Car fax showed it was in an accident . They allowed 7,000 below book and told me that was the best the wholesale buyers would offer . 3 days later it was for sale on thier lot asking 9,000 more than they gave . I understand they are trying to make money , great but they blatenly lied to my face . very UNTRUSTWORTHY ! A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE STERO TYPE SHADY USE CARE SALES

Working with JD was a good experience. My only gripe was that nobody informed me that the vehicle I was purchasing only had one key. This is a big deal because with infinity autos the keys are very expensive to have programmed to the car.
