Our company bought a heavy duty truck from them , worst mistake ever, service is worst then awful, I talked to my brotherlaw (master mechanic) he told me a place in louisville where he has work at to take it. I took it there no questions fixed quike with out the attitude that herb jones gave me and it was fixed right the first time.I try to keep business local but I will never ever be at herb jones , place is a joke, if you do go there make sure you keep all and I meen all receipts , so they will not dispute you being there.Very sad for hardin county

March 30, I stopped at Herb Jones to look at a 2012 Honda EX, and to have my trade in '99 Accord appraised. Chris and Mark treated me well, and the offer for my car was more than two other dealers had offered. Mark offered to buy the car outright. One of the sales people, a friendly young woman, gave my little dog a bowl of water, which impressed me. I didn't trade for the EX, and decided to buy a new Accord LX from Hardin County Honda, for various reasons, but I am confident that the EX was a great deal. Even though the facility was under construction, the temporary trailer-office was comfortable, because of the genuine people there. joe bickett

This dealership diagnosed my car February 2014. The car was still under warranty. GM approved the fix and they ordered the parts. Parts got there March 2014. I then spent 9 months fighting them to get it scheduled to have the repair work done. November 2014 came around and I got an appointment and promptly dropped the car off. The car sat untouched for a solid month. I got nothing but excuses from them and blown off further. Fed up I went to pick the car up onto to have a service writer vandalize the car by ripping bulbs from lighting. Another service writer was kind enough to fix it. Never again will they see my car!

After having a poor experience at big o tires I went to Herb Jones. The service guy was named Joe Larkin and he was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I got two new tires quickly and had no problems. While waiting in service i looked around the lot. The salespeople were friendly and did not try to force me into a car. I did not purchase my last car there but I definitely will in the future.

If you are a female, stay away from this place. Not only is it a very old and nasty building, it seems like an all male locker room. They were not friendly and I would recommend driving somewhere else to buy a new Chevy. There are dealerships that act excited to meet you and try hard to earn your business.

Came to dealership after conversation with salesman at my workplace. Had my car appraised for $500. Went to Carmax, $2600 trade-in appraisale, bought my new car from Carmax. Herb Jones "Best place To Trade" or best place to get screwed? Dont hold it against the salesman, he was great to deal with. Higher ups, you be the judge.

I recently visited Herb jones looking for a used car due to circumstances the previous cars I had looked at I could no longer afford. Chris Williams helped me every step of the way I shared with him my circumstances and he happily began to find a car that was better suited for my new price range. I appreciated the fact that he tried to find a car that was both in my comfort, taste and price. I understand tho the last say in finances is the store itself decesion and not that of his he none the less graciously took time out of his day to search for a car I could afford. If ever asked id highly recommend Chris Williams to my family, friends, andco workers simply because of his patience, understating and overall delightful experience I had working with him.

My car was totaled at the end of February. My husband and I visited Herb Jones Chevrolet to look at an Equinox. Mr. Williams was our salesman. He was very courteous and took time to let us know about the vehicle. He answered all of our questions and we did not feel pressured to purchase the car. We test drove the Equinox and loved it. Mr. Williams made the process very easy and stress free. He did a great job for us!

Chris Williams used nasty foul degrading language and I over-heard him tell another salesman that i better buy the more expensive SUV because he didn't have time to be wasting it with me. Last week my car was totaled so I just received my tax refund and was going to buy a car for around $14,000. Chris Williams was the worst car salesman I have ever met. He kept showing me vehicles between $19,000 - $27,000 even though I repeatedly told him that I could only spend $14,000. I was finally going to purchase a vehicle between $16,500 - $19,000 when I over-heard his foul language and I left. When I told him he probably shouldn't be selling cars, he cussed at me and then his exact words were "I run this mother!". I am very well known and a community leader and I will make sure everyone I know never goes to this dealership. Chris Williams is a nasty human being.

My husband and I have bought dozens of new cars over the past 30 years...mostly Pontiacs. Since 2006, we have been driving Hondas as the Pontiacs of that time period were not to our liking. I reluctantly pulled into the local GM dealership...Her Jones in Elizabethtown, Ky. and drove a 2011 Buick Regal. We purchased it on the spot. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There was no high pressure sales pitch. They helped us find financing at the lowest interest rate and I returned the next day to get a tutorial on how to use the OnStar feature, as well as other technology with which I am not familiar. My husband and I are not easy to please but both of us left there feeling like we got a great deal and a beautiful car.

I recently had a 50,000 mile service performed on my wifes Chevy Suburban, was satisfied with the service until my wife and I discovered that the navigation disk was missing, causing the navigation system to be unuseable. It requires a concerted effort to remove the disk, it's not like taking out a DVD. The entire face plate has to be engaged to gain access. The disk hasn't been removed since I purchased the vehicle. The only time that our vehicle has been out of our possesion was during the service. We utilize the GPS regularly and would have noticed, prior to taking the vehicle in for service, if the disk was missing. The delership refused to accept any responsibility for the lost item while they had control of the vehicle. I will never take a vehicle back to this establishment and urge personel taking their vehicle there to be ware.

I bought a used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche in Louisville from Greg Coats auto sales on December 26, 2009. I went to Herb Jones to get my catalytic converter replaced which was under warranty, they told me there would be absolutely no charge. The next day Herb Jones told me I had to replace my map sensor which would be over $400.00 to fix. I called Greg Coats and they said they would replace the map sensor since I had just bought it. When I told Herb Jones not to fix the map sensor they seemed perplexed and than charged me $82.50 for the service. Greg Coats found no problem with the map sensor. I than took it to Big M Chevrolet in Radcliff and they told me the same. Big M fixed my catalytic converter and replaced one O2 sensor. I asked Herb Jones for my $82.50 back and they said no problem since I had my invoice from Big M showing there was no problem with the sensor. They than called me at work and said they changed their mind and was unprofessional and even hanged the phone on me. I feel they were trying to rip me off. I would not even let Herb Jones put air in my tires

I purchased a 2001 chevy blazer brand new from herb jones only to find out that when they went to pick it up in tenn that it was driven 85 miles an hour during breakin by the dealership. this can be the only reason the truck was delivered to me with a blown head gasket! The first year I owned the truck it stayed in the shop for repairs 8 out of twelve months ranging from leaking transmission lines to locked up wheel hubs. Never again in my life would I ever purchase anything from Herb Jones, i WOULD RATHER WALK FIRST !
