Richie made buying a new car absolutely wonderful !! He was honest and I trusted him when he said he'd get me the best deal . I am glad I did bc he was right. He took plenty of time finding my son the perfect car . Once we found the car Richie explained every feature of the car and answered all the questions we had . Sorry this is 3 weeks after we purchased the car but we had a wedding !!!

Had a great experience at Russel Volkswagon. Lamar Blakney did an excellent job with explaining every detail on the used 2011 Mazda CX-9 GT and the purchase deal. I would highly recommend Lamar and Russel Volkswagon.

On August 31, 2015 I purchased a VW Gulf TDI at Russel Volkswagen. The professional manner shown by Herb Thomas and the staff kept me from going elsewhere. Even though there were VW dealers closer to my home, I was impressed by their courtesy and willingness to listen to my requests. I was given every concession that I asked and was provided with answers to any questions that I had. Kudos to Herb Thomas and the sales staff management for making the purchase of my new car at Russel a pleasant experience.

We started our car buying online and ended with Sales Consultant, Lamar Blakney. He showed us a vehicle (that we didn't see online) that fit in our price range and the model we wanted. He was available by phone, email and text - now that's being available! We had to come in over a few nights for test drives, etc because of a work schedule - he was always understanding and worked within that schedule. We finally sealed the deal tonight and took delivery of the vehicle. The finance dept worked quickly (after all Lamar told them about our work and tight schedule:)) Now here's the kicker - Lamar doesn't get the "sale". As I stated in the beginning we ended with Lamar. The original sales person on night one had to be off unexpectantly and Lamar finished working with us so we could remain satisfied customer's of Russel Volkswagen. He made this a great car buying experience and working with Lamar or better known as the "Brown Bob Barker" has been outstanding!

I am so glad I went to this dealer!! I was looking to buy a new Passat for the last 6 months. A friend of my mother's said Russel Volkswagen was a great dealer. So...I went there and met the most awesome salesman, Richie Ramkelawan. Richie was straight to the point and concerned about me getting what I wanted. He was easy to talk to and helped me get an absolutely awesome deal on my 2015 Passat. I came in the day after the Memorial Day sale because I had been hospitalized over the weekend. Richie and one of the managers, James Kelly, honored the holiday discount for me. This was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had! Richie was great from beginning to end. They also have a very efficient finance manager, Dellare McLaughlin. She took her time with me and didn't try to force unnecessary warranties down my throat. I would recommend Russel Volkswagen to anyone looking for a relaxed, straightforward sales experience.

I started with phone call that transcended into an email then through modern technology texting. I worked with Lamar Blakely who, without a doubt, is solid and professional customer service advocate. I had a rocky credit history and was nervous about purchasing a newer vehicle. From the first email to the final handshake Lamar was there working on my side to ensure I was comfortable and never without doubt of my investment. My hat is off to Lamar and the staff at Russel VW. Myself and all I know looking for a vehicle will be coming by for future purchases !!! Thank you again Lamar !

Lamar Blankey was the the best salesman I've ever had. I had a very difficult situation. Lamar preserved until I got my car and it fit all of my needs. He was kind and compassionate. He didn't waste my time and was very professional and helpful.

I cannot say enough about the quality service and attention given to me by SalesPerson Lamar Blakney and Sales Manager James Kelley. I was in a leased Jetta that I loved but that was fiscally in appropriate. They both explained to me that they could put me in a brand new car that I could actually own and drive withour penalty. They have help me to be regain my confidence in the car buyiung process. I have bought 3 Jettas from Russel VW and I will continue to buy from Russel and send my friends and family here as well. Well I purchased my car on 04/09/2015 and I absolutely love it. Before I purchased my car I inquired about a Volkswagen CC via the internet. With in the next couple of days I received a phone call from Herb Thomas. When I originally spoke to him, I had a million and one questions for him. He was very patient and answered each question that I asked. We had originally set up an appointment for me to come in on the 24th of April. However I called him prior to the 24th and asked if it was okay for me to come into test drive some cars He stated of course. And the rest is history I bought a 2013 Volkswagen CC and I absolutely love it. Mr. Herb Thomas was a very exceptional salesmen, he and constituents made me and my daughters experience a very memorable one. If ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR A CAR AND GREAT SALESMEN MR. THOMAS IS THE MAN!

From the beginning, my salesman Lamar Blakney was very helpful. He explained every step of my process from start to finish. He made sure my experience was great. This was my first time buying a car. I had a good time buying my new car from Russel Volkwagen the staff was great and they have dreat cars on there lot if you are looking for a good used or new car to buy do not pass them by. Before driving a great distance, my salesman Lamar Blakney thoroughly and kindly answered my many questions. When I arrived at the lot, Lamar greeted me with prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly support, and he worked diligently to ensure my purchase satisfied my needs and my budget. From the first handshake to the finance manager who handed me the paperwork, my experience at Russel was marked by people who really seemed to see me as a person, not a number, and that's rare these days. Lamar's attention to detail and honest demeanor made me feel at ease and allowed me to really think through my purchase and feel good about the terms of my loan. The dealership offered me a great value on my trade-in, and I drove away in a certified Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a great warranty at an affordable price. But equally impressive was the outstanding level of care Lamar put into the transaction, and the comfortable feel of Russel Volkswagen in general. E price is tricky, but the enviroment that Julian and Shawn provided was great, that really made me get the car. But FYI, Mazda needs to find a better to sell cars, but the service was great!

My entire experience here was excellent from the moment i walked in the door, Julian Barnes greeted me with the biggest kool aid smile ever. He made me feel very comfortable and welcomed, even gave me a few dollars for the snack machine. I test drove only two cars before making the choice to purchase my 2013 jetta. The process was pain free and easy, julian was by my side the whole time..... even got down on his knees( in his suit ) to put my tags on my vehicle. To this day with every question i have he is still right by my side. I will be his customer for life !!!!!! Period. I've even referred a few friends. Thank you again Julian, you have a customer for life !

Horrible treatment. Live out of town and agreed to purchase a vehicle at the internet listed price. I was unable to get to the dealership due to working 40+ hours a week, but allowed the dealership to run my credit as a guarantee that they would hold the vehicle until the following weekend. Received a phone call the next evening stating that they had another interested buyer and pressured me to come in the following morning. I had to call my office to find someone to cover, but called back and let them know that I could come in as they requested. One hour later they called me again and told me that they were offering the car to the other buyer. Totally unprofessional. Not trustworthy. Ran my credit and refused to acknowledge agreement. Have already contacted Better Business Bureau.

I had the car serviced. They gave me a ride to a shopping district while I waited. I had a problem with a dent on my front right tire's rim. John called me explaining that they tried to fix the rim but it had to replaced. He even gave me a discount to cheer me up. I could even see some of the repairs in the dent when I came back. I have always heard that car dealerships will try to get as much money from you as possible, but this was a painless repair and quickly fixed. Very satisfied. I even got to keep the rim! Next time I will look for potholes with a more scrupulous eye though.

I've had a car serviced at every are VW dealer over the course of five VWs, and Russell is hands down the best around. From dropoff to pickup, their Service Dept. is second to none.

The entire staff at Russel Volkswagen receive grade A's when it comes to customer service. I have a personal experience of working with Dubois, Mitchell and his brother. They were right on point with the information as I was a first time buyer & they made me feel very comfortable in my decisions as well. They made sure I walked out of the dealership happy, with no unanswered questions. I truly enjoying being a customer of Volkswagen and highly recommend first time buyers, or anyone who appreciates great customer service to buy a car from there.

I made an appointment online for some repairs. When I came in they had me down for tomorrow, but took me anyway without a fuss. The service writer listened to my problems and confirmed them. I got a ride home very quickly on their shuttle. The driver was very pleasant and drove safely. My car was ready the same day and they called me with plenty of time to get there by 6:30 to pickup. I went the next day and the car was washed. The cashier is a nice lady who also got the valet to bring my car around. I had to readjust the outside mirrors and rear view mirror which was a minor irritation. Also the car had 5 miles on it. Not sure why they would need to test drive as the problems were warning for fog light out, seat lumbar issue, broken strap for hatch cover, tpms warning light on. Overall good experience.

Good experience at this dealer. Salesman knew a lot about the car's features and demonstrated many on a long test drive. Took about 4 hours from when I drove in until driving away with the new car, and deal itself was decent.
