I was in the market for a new Ram 1500. I contacted several dealerships through their websites to try and get pricing. Many responded with "Call US" or "Stop IN". Most of them were several hours away from my home so stopping in was not an option, and with my job, phone calls were hard to work with.Robert Schmitz atHerthich of Pocomoke, responded via email, to my inquiry, and went out of his way to take care of me, and work around what I wanted. They found the truck I wanted, even though they didn't have it in stock, and got it for me from another dealer. They gave me a great price for my trade. and went out of their way to make me feel like I mattered as a customer. I would recommend to anyone to deal with Hertrich of Pocomoke, for any of their car needs.FANTASTIC CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE

One year ago I brought my Ford F350 into Herteich of Pocomoke for service. An inspection by technicians revealed that the vehicle was in need of brakes all around. Subsequently a complete brake job was performed. The work cost more than $1200. Approximately 7 months and 7,000 miles later in another state, the brakes on my truck failed. The vehicle was taken to a reputable mechanic who explained to me that the caliper on the left side had failed. A further inspection by this mechanic revealed that the brake parts that were installed on the vehicle were not genuine Ford parts. Further investigation revealed that all the brake parts that Herteich Ford of Pocomoke had installed on my vehicle had been obtained from Advanced Auto Parts in Pocomoke, MD. I subsequently tried in vain get a refund from Hertrich. I also tried to return the parts to Advanced Auto but they would only refund to the purchaser-Hertrich. The bottom line is this. I am stuck with a bunch of junk parts put on my vehicle by a dealership that advertises genuine Ford parts and Ford technicians. If I wanted after market parts I could have gone to a backyard mechanic and possibly received a better result for a cheaper price. BEWARE OF HERTRICH FORD OF POCOMOKE. They use cheap after market parts while advertising genuine Ford parts.

Charged me $111.00 for an estimate. Suggested repairs that were not necessary. Car came back with oil and grease stains on the Interior. Service girl told me my warranty only covered power train which was incorrect.

My car broke down on my way home from nc to pa on route 13. They serviced my brakes the next morning. I was on the road by the afternoon. They also did a recall of my power steering. Tom was very accomodating and friendly to me and my 4 year old daughter. He did everything he could to get us home the next day, Thanks Tom

Worst experience ever, John the sales man is why car dealers sales people have a bad name!!!!! they run your credit way to many times and then they don't tell you they do. I looked at it one day came back two days later and the price of the car was $2000 more. This place is sneaky stay away!!!!

very sneaky place!gave me a very good quote first time there. went back to order car and make deal at that initial price and was given excuses and the runaround! Dana added price on new car by 2000 off start. Then would not tell me interest rates on new quotes she gave me! said she didnt know! I have awesome credit and they tried to get more thousands out of me wit her sneaky price quotes. Not worth the time to stop by there! As long as they keep her there they are going to lose business! i ended up buying the new car with another dealer at the original price she gave me with 0% interest! About 5,000 dollar difference!

Never have been able to work with this dealership, prices are to high, financing is terriable and when you go take the time out of your day to go and buy a vehicle you get suckered into going over there and the vehicle is not what it is that you where told over the phone, check engine lights on, and they did not want to give me the carfax! I demanded the carfax and once I seen it had an accident I left, they tried to sell me a wrecked car!! Done with dealing with this nonsense from this dealer!

I did not like how Mike knew how many mpg the used cars would get but didn't know the price. They seemed crooked to me because they were unable to give me prices on any of the cars. It was suggested that before we get the price, we should test drive first and I refused. What rubbed me the wrong way was that Dana Smith said they do not use Carfax because it was a hoax. I kept thinking of the commerical where the dealers avoided everthing they could to not produce the carfax. Although I purchased a vehicle, I believe they provided the best deal for my trade-in. The car I purchased is still under warranty and I plan to get it looked at before it expires. So, I would recommend this dealership but get what you want..not what they tell you that you want.

My experience with Hertrich of Pocomoke was a pleasant one. My wife wanted a new SUV so we went to Hertrich of Pocomoke. We were not sure that the vehicle would be in our budget but Dana Smith, general manager, took time to work with us and get the vehicle where we wanted to be. Mrs. Smith stayed late and came in early to accommidate our schedule. She did everything she could do to help us. She was very friendly and professional. We appreciate the general manager taking her time to help us.

After searching up and down the east coast...from where I live to the mid-part of delaware...I found my best bang for my buck at Hertrich of Pocomoke. After getting the best bottom dollar pricing from Dana Smith (the general sales manager) I jumped on the price right then and there. Dana, who I spoke with, was fast, friendly and professional to the highest level. I would strongly recomend that if anyone who is looking for the best price go to hertrich in pocomoke and see for yourself.

I went to Hertrich of Pocomoke, not once but twice, I have really learned my lesson now!! The people at this dealership are pure crooks, I cannot speak for all of them but the ones I have encountered are very shady, and angry people who must hate their jobs, and love to rip consumers off! I dealt with Dana Smith who is the General Manager of this location, she was very rude, and not up front at all. I was there once with a friend of mine to help her along in helping her learn how to shop for a car. Dana Smith did not take kind to this, she actually confronted me and told me that I need to keep quiet and to let my friend make the decsion on the car not me! I told my friend that the car was way over priced and told her to ask for a lower price on the vehicle Dana then become furious, saying this is the best we can do, knowing the car was 3,000 over KBB, when the same car was for sale at 3 other dealership for 5,000 less!! Dana then moved her chair and away from me, and moved closer to my friend and started to whisper and would not let me see it, I asked her nicely 2 times, may I see the figures, she stared at me and looked back down and proceeded to tell me friend more information about the figures, on the third time I asked a little bit more sternly she said wait who is buying this car here you or her? I was blown away at her unprofessionalism, I told my friend let's go the price is horrible and the customer service is horrible! Dana was not present when I told my friend this, so I did keep a very nice cool and professional attitude in tact! Then I went back looking for a vehicle for my Grandmother, not learning my lesson from the first time, this dealer was the only one around that had the vehicle in particular we were searching for! I called up my sales person asked him if he could send me a car fax or auto check to my email I made my trip over there. He wrote back promptly and said, sorry we cannot send one too you through email, all he have is paper copies! Not one time did he ask if I had a Fax or could he scan them and send them to me in my email! I got over there taking his word, got into the vehicle started to take a test drive, not 1 minute the Check engine light came on, and the vehicle started to vibrate in the front end, I told him I did not want it at all, my Grandmother was looking in the glove box and found a piece of paper were someone else had taken the car home and returned it! He laughed and said everyone leaves their stuff in these cars, he knew something was wrong with this car, and so did Dana Smith!! From these experiences I have truly learned my lesson with Hertrich of Pocomoke,MD they are the worst dealership I have ever been too, and customer service is terrible, right along with their crooked numbers games, and wrecked junk cars!! Dana Smith is horrible if you do not take my advice and choose to go there, please use someone else besides Dana Smith, most horrible manger I have ever dealt, She is one Miserable person!!
