Recently, I brought my 15 plus-year old Toyota Prius to Hoffman Toyota for a number of minor repairs. I have driven 220,000 miles without problems, but two of the dash board lights did not work. The service technician gave me a price to repair the problem. First, the dashboard had to be removed, so the issue was more complicated that just replacing bulbs. Two problems turned up. First, because the plastic of the dashboard was old and brittle, the assembly broke when the technician was trying to repair it. "No problem," the dealership said. "We broke it; we'll replace it with a new piece without charge." The work having been done and everything looking fine at the shop, I took the car and soon discovered that the lights still did not work. Back to Hoffman I went. They removed the dashboard assembly again, confirmed that the bulbs were in good working order and searched about for the source of the problem. It turns out that there is a short in the circuit board. That and not faulty bulbs was the source of my original problem. Replacing the circuit board would have been very expensive, so I opted not to do that. The dashboard was reassembled for the third time and I was not charged for any of the extra work beyond my initial quoted price. All of the other work that was done was, as far as I can tell, faultless, so I left the dealership pleased with the work and with the Hoffman personnel. I've gotten superb service there for over 16 years. My wife and I both own Priuses.

Although I live about a mile away from where I bought my Prius, I traveled almost an hour to have my recent safety recall done at Hoffman in Sismsbury. The work was done, a nice neat job, almost an hour ahead of the projected time. (I had waited for the car.) Only negative I can think of is the recommended extra services "I need", that are not called out in the owners maintenance manual. But all the dealers do this.

The car had a couple small dents in it that the detailing staff made look just about like new when I picked it up which was a pleasant surprise. I brought my car in for an interior detailing and was told it would take 4 hours and would have to be left over night. I left my car and was waiting for them to call and tell me it was finished, but 24 hrs later they still hadn't called me. I called back 3 times and kept hearing different responses on if my car was finished or not. Finally I got the go ahead to come pick it up and as I got there they once again said it wasn't done. Luckily the man working there explained how the car just wasn't completely dry yet and as an apology could have the car delivered the next day once it was really done drying. I had this done and was thankful for this offer, but then once my car was delivered I discovered that my car still had dirt/grime all over the passenger side where the seatbelt is connected. I paid over $100 for this job and expected it to be completely clean for this price so I am unsatisfied with this job.

Took car in for a recall. Agreed to a world class inspection which is clearly dealer talk for charging big bucks to make up for the free recall work. It worked exactly as expected as I got a big bill for the work the inspection turned up. Then although the paperwork said the car had been cleaned up after interior work we found the interior was anything but clean. Excellent check in and check out as always.

Julio who was pleased to work with us to move their truck off their lot is now very impatient because " I knew exactly what i paid for when I paid for the extra maintenance." It is interesting how people pretend when they need your services but once they believe everything is going well, that they do not need your support, how they show their true colors. I thought that the maintenance was complimentary until their loan was paid off. How silly of me when in fact they did add that money to my loan and they received all their monies up front so they couldn't care less what happens to the truck now.

The brake rotors needed replacement but were safe to drive with. The the car needed alignment and the tires were close to being bare but were still legal. The work provide was explained. How would you feel if when you went for your first oil change at the dealer where you purchased your "Certified" Toyota three months prior and learned that the car had completely worn brakeswith a repair cost of $715. after driving only 4,000 highway miles??? Mileage at purchase was 24,775 although the Carfax and dealer listing stated that it had 23,558 miles. This happened to me at Hoffman Toyota after I purchased a 2014 Toyota Venza XLE in July 2016.After complaining about this issue the dealer elected to replace only the front brakesalthough the rear brakes only had one millimeter more surface. In addition I requested my tires be rotatedbut this wasn't done because the rear tires were worn and the front tires were new. I can safely say that I am the proud owner of a Toyota Certified vehicle from HoffmanToyota that is unsafe to drive after only three months and 4,000 miles.Thank you Hoffman for this experience, I won't be back!

After bringing my car in for an oil change, I complained of a noise coming from the AC fan. After further inspection, the technician found a large mouse nest next to my fan! After being told they were recommending $8000 in replacement parts the mice had destroyed, my service manager, Mike Fitzgerald took control and coordinated everything with my insurance company.What could have been a financial disaster, was handled seamlessly and professionally by Mike and my 2010 Preius looks like new!! I was buying a new car for the first time in 12 years and was nervous about the process, especially being a woman shopping on my own. I lucked into getting Julio, who took me on a test drive and very patiently answered all my questions. I fully expected to be pressured after I left, while I was exploring other cars and options, but that didn't happen at all, and at the end of the day, was a major reason I went with Hoffman. I felt like I got a good deal on my trade-in, and got a good deal overall. Julio took the time to show me the car (a lot's changed in 12 years!) and I felt really comfortable with it when I drove off. I'd definitely come back to buy from Hoffman again -- hopefully sooner than 12 years from now!

Was very pleased with the service work I had done at Hoffman. Made an appointment, dropped off my Tacoma first thing in the morning, loaner waiting for me, quick in and out on my way. Tech was very knowledgeable about my problem, diagnosed and got me a quote to repair. Communication during the day was great, told me everything they needed to do and what it would cost. Let me know when it was done and I could pick it up. Picked up the truck, again quick in and out, two weeks later and no issues, problem solved ! Would definitely return if any work needed.

It was my first time at Hoffman Toyota, as I have had recent terrible experiences with my dealership of 7 years. The waiting area is comfortable and has many amenities- free WiFi, coffee, plenty of seating area, computers etc. I will be back for future service appointments!

so booked online & yet again, no one has a record of it when I check in or what I've requested. There's clearly no feed from the system to the service advisors. Routine 80k checkup w/ oil change & tire rotation plus a recall for a door/window switch. All was good there, but they noticed I had a leaking rear diff which was because we had it changed at a Valvoline who didn't put original plug and a gasket on. so that required a full diff change. They also pointed out my right rear wheel bearing was going (which does make a high pitched whir at high speeds) -- they said it will make more & more noise but is safe to drive on. Also the water pump bearings are starting to wear which could go soon.

After dealing with Julio Sosa, I would definitely recommend this dealership! Julio Sosa took care of everything from the sales side of the house. Unfortunately, the agreed upon apr was not honored by their finance department. Their excuse was that I had a low score, which only occurred due to the fact that my credit union ran my credit score once and toyota ran it a second time which in turn lowered my score. The sales staff was fine but the finance staff leaves much to desire. With that said, I would definitely buy another vehicle from Julio Sosa... but will definitely use my fed credit union the next time around. Honesty is the best policy especially when your business thrives on repeat customers and recommendations.

Linda Shultz was great from start to finish. She assured I had a loaner for the day (thank you, Kathy!), got me out the door quickly so I could get on my way to work and communicated well throughout the day. The staff members providing the actual maintenance services (brakes, etc.) were able to complete all of the work on the same day even though there were a few obstacles. It came up during inspection that I needed spark plugs that had to be brought over from Lexus and the parts arrived later than expected. In addition, dropping off the loaner after hours and getting my car was a breeze.Thank you!!!

My 2001 Tacoma exhaust system needed almost total replacement, including new sensors. The proposed cost of replacement plus tax exceeded the KBB trade value of the truck - so I considered just having the truck hauled to the dump. Service advisor Keith Lundy, through herculean effort, managed to put together a package that saved me almost 50%. I am also grateful that he kept me informed about every twist and turn. I'm keeping the truck, thanks to Keith.

I dropped off my 2005 Tacoma Pre Runner for recall service (rear leaf springs) so it could be done while I was on vacation. I also asked for Hoffman to check the brakes and change the transmission, coolant and differential fluids. They did a great job on everything and I also ended up changing the spark plugs, cleaning the injectors and after inspection of the brake system I needed new discs and calipers along with new front wheel bearings they found to be failing. So I ended up with a big bill at the end of vacation, but Michael, Service Advisor, kept me informed of everything along the way so it wasn't a shock. The truck is safe and ready for another 100,000 miles now.

We live over an hour and a half away, but we're contacted by Elena from the business development group introducing us to Hoffman and providing a quote over email, which was competitive with other quotes recieved. Hoffman happened to have the exact color combination we were initially looking for. When we arrived we met Ben Jones as soon as we pulled up, I explained we had a quote from Elena, and he pointed us towards the vehicle ww were looking for, but then gave us our space to look without hovering over us. Turns out we found a different color combination that we preferred. Ben was right there to answer our questions and provided no pressure trying to make a sale. Once we decided that we wanted the vehicle, Ben and his management were very easy to work with and come to an agreement on a sales price as well as a trade in value. Ben was a true gentleman throughout the entire process. The sales manager was also very easy to work with and was not pushy towards financing, extended warranties etc. I would recommend Hoffman to anyone who is interested in buying a new car or truck. Give them a chance, and you will not be disappointed based on my experience.

My Sienna went in for regular service and recall. I arrived fifteen minutes late for the appointment, but was still greeted kindly. I was told exactly what to expect at drop off in terms of length of the appointment and what documents I would need if I wanted a loaner. A very clean and comfortable loaner was reserved for me and I enjoyed driving it. The appointment took about 6 hours and at pick up I was checked out quickly and kindly.

I wasn't planning on being in the market for a new car but my 2002 Toyota Camry that I bought from a co-worker a while back just had too many issues to reasonably fix. I ended up deciding to lease a 2016 Scion iA and Bill Jones was extremely helpful and accessible during the process. Between the student discount and the trade-in value, they covered the remaining cost of my loan on my old car. Took car for 5.000 miles check, the service staff was very profesional, polite and friendly esp Mike D. Small waiting area with coffee machine tv and Wifi, two computers, if you need to wait longer it is located within walking distance to shopping area and a few restaurants. They called me when the car was ready and they also cleaned it (on the outside) which was a nice surprise.

Alvin was helpful when discussing our purchase. Jamal was absolutely horrible to work with. While he printed our paperwork, he literally answered 10 phone calls from his kids and was yelling at them. He explained nothing in the paperwork. He also told us he was giving us an 8 year warranty but instead charged us 1800 dollars for it. When we went back to take the warranty off, he told us our car was never certified, and when I tried to discuss it with him, he said he didn't care and that's not what we were there to discuss. Afterwards I saw the sales managers who confirmed our car was indeed certified, and Jamal was lying. He was cocky and rude and I would never work with him again. Sales managers Zachary and James were helpful when I visited to clear up paperwork issues, and they seem to really care about the customers being happy.

I have an older vehicle that my son drives. It was on list for the airbag recall. I decided that I would bring it to a dealership close to where I work. I called the service dept of that dealership and was told the airbag would be ordered based on the Vin and I'd be contacted when they were in. I never received a call so I called back every two weeks to be put on hold several times, asked for my names/info several times and told they were on back order. After about 6 weeks I decided to try Hoffman and I called and they got the car in and had the recall done within 48 hours. I still have not heard back from the other dealership yet! It's been 8 weeks! I was placed on hold many times and I truly do not believe the other dealership ordered anything. Hoffman was prompt and considerate even for a very old car that had never been there for service prior and even knowing this was a recall and not a paid service. Thank You!!

I prefer Middletown but it's too far away. The employees often look overworked and unhappy at this location. They process too many appointments at one times. I waited 90 minutes for a simple oil change. They try to seek maintenance packages that are unnecessary. My car is only 2 years old.

Without an appointment, I appeared at their service location [on a Saaturday morning] with my Lexus which had a blownout tire needing to be replaced. They quickly addressed my needs, ordered a new tire to be delivered within 30 minutes and fit the work that was needed into their schedule without much of a delay to me. I went in to get a broken A/C fixed as well as brake work done and, because of positive past experiences, I trusted it would be done right so had no problem paying 1,300 dollars for the work. While examining the car to determine the root of the A/C troubles (it was electrical, which is what I told them I thought it was) some piece of tubing by the evaporator drain got broken. By the time I realized the passenger side of my car was getting gallons of water spilled onto it, it had been occurring for over a week. My car smells, is certainly going to wind up with mold, and is now A/C-less again. I tried to reach out to the service center half a dozen times to discuss the experience to no avail. I am disappointed and, quite frankly, livid about the dilemma. I would highly suggest either seeking alternate service or doing a thorough check of your car immediately after getting it worked on at Hoffman Toyota.

As the end of the lease for our 2013 Toyota Prius from Hoffman began to draw near, conversation on the various options available began with our genial sales rep from three years ago, Patrick. The 2013 model was such a good car that we were tempted to extend the lease or buy it outright. But with the newly designed 2016 Prius now available, we decided to check it out. After a nice test drive with the impressive new model, we began to look seriously at the possibility of moving into a new lease on the new model. Patrick was very helpful, responding knowledgeably to our questions, explaining what numbers would be possible for the various new Prius models and never pressuring for a decision. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I came in with a letter that was sent from Hoffman. They wanted my 2013 Toyota RAV4. That one was a lease and I was interested in getting a new 2016 RAV4. However, my lease was going to end in January of 2017. Bill talked to his manager and they were able to get me a brand new 2016 RAV4 for the same amount of money per month, with no out of pocket expenses, earlier than I expected, and in the color of my choice. The process was incredibly easy and hassle free. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. This is my second lease with Toyota through Hoffman and it has been an amazing experience! I will absolutely go back for my next car!

I came to the service center for an alignment and I allowed you to match prices on new tires. Even though you were not able to match the price, I wanted to be loyal to your center so i went ahead and scheduled an appointment for both services. When i got there i was told that it would take 2 & 1/2 hours. A little excessive given my appointment. It took 4 hours and the alignment was not completed due a problem created by a previous dealer recall. I was totally disappointed in the service!

We are a toyota family since having children. It's the only make we trust. We have had two camry's and one Sienna and now a Highlander. In that time have dealt with 2 prior toyota dealerships who we will NOT be revisiting despite one dealership being less than 5 miles from our home. We ended up at Hoffman b/c they had a few vehicles at the model/make/price point we were looking at. We were beyond impressed with their attention to detail of the cars on the lot the personal NO PRESSURE sales quotes that occurrd and even the closing with Mike was great...really beyond our expectations. After seeing a few other dealers in the area, I went to this dealership not expecting much different, but I was pleasantly surprised. I went to look for a new Camry, 2016 model and had my father along to help me out. They took us right to the Camry's without trying to get us into paperwork or anything and got right to the bottom line! The price was fantastic and when an issue came up (With our insurance company and no fault of mine or dealership) they worked as hard as possible to fix it quickly and without hassling us.

Summary: friendly, professional, polite, no hard sell, knowledgeable, prices are fair, they want customers to walk out feeling happy with their purchase and buying experience.We went in to buy a very lightly used, Toyota certified vehicle, and the advertised price was a fair starting point based on our research. We first met with salesperson Bill Jones, who was very friendly and easy to talk to, and we took a test drive. Two days later we went back to talk about buying it. Bill was off that day so the manager Jose Espinosa helped us negotiate a price for the vehicle and our trade in. We went back one more time to do our financing with Jamal Alkatib, the business manager, and take our vehicle home. All three visits were great, and all three staff members we dealt with were super professional, friendly, and helpful. During all three of our visits there, we observed that the showroom was really clean and kept up, as well as the waiting area and bathrooms. We appreciated that, since you know when you go to buy a car, you are probably going to be there for a while and you want to be comfortable. They offer a wide variety of free beverages plus popcorn, which is also a nice touch, especially if you bring kids. We really didn't do much waiting around on any of our visits, though. Things ran quickly and smoothly, and the whole transaction from start to finish was faster than any other car purchase I've made. During our visit with Jose Espinosa, the staff was busy, and we were impressed by how well Mr. Espinosa managed the business and was focused, efficient, and polite to everyone, customers and employees alike. Mr. Alkatib, the business manager, handled our financing great and was patient in explaining everything to us, and was very pleasant to talk to. After the paperwork was done, our salesperson Bill Jones took us out to our immaculately cleaned vehicle and showed us how to use all the features. We drove away very happy, feeling like we got the personal touch from all three employees. I would definitely go back to Hoffman Toyota, even though there are other Toyota dealers closer to me. This place is well-run and the staff seems genuinely happy, and everyone was impeccably polite to us. Even their clothes looked sharp, like the management is on top of everyone having a very professional appearance, which made me feel confident that this was a well-run dealership that pays attention to detail from top to bottom. I have a marketing background, and I felt like this place really has a handle on all aspects of their business and on creating a satisfying customer experience. The next time I'm planning to buy another vehicle, I will not be stressed out because I'll know I can expect a great experience at Hoffman!

I have generally been happy with the service at Hoffman Toyota but the service center has a tendency to recommend extra service that isn't needed. For the recent service on my Matrix, I was urged to have the brake fluid and radiator coolant replaced despite this having been done on a recent service visit. I was also told that the hood was difficult to unlatch and was urged to have the mechanism replaced. I declined this recommendation and had no trouble opening the hood when I got home. In the past, this dealership has recommended fuel injection service that is unnecessary if the car is running okay.

Excellent customer focused experience. It is always difficult buying a car these days when you have a career and family. I came into the dealership after work toward the end of the day last week ready to buy a car after doing some extensive research over the last few months with my family. The dealership was slow and it was toward the end of the day when most sales people would be counting the hours to quitting time. Instead, Larry promptly met me at the door and we began going over options and kicking the tires of a few 4 runners on the lot and test driving one, all in a very professional business like manner which I truly appreciated. The following day, Larry met with my wife to go over the 4 runners on the lot and options. In the end, we ended up getting the car that fit our needs by working directly with Larry and the sales people. Both I, my wife, and my family are very, very happy. I previously brought my car in for service and the brake warning light was on. I was given an estimate of almost $300 to repair the rear brakes which I declined to have done. The rear brakes did not need to be repaired and adding a small amount of brake fluid to the brake master cylinder reservoir resolved the problem.

I went in for my 15,000 miles service. I waited 1 1/2 hrs. When I got home and reviewed my inspection of my vehicle, I noticed something was off. All my tire treads measured equal. However, one of my tires was brand new and the other 3 were a year and a half old. How could this be? The only explanation would be they weren't all checked individually. How can I be sure everything else was checked properly? I feel my time was wasted and the attention to detail was missed.

In one case, they noted I had some issued with my frame and helped refer me to a repair welder that performed that work in a timely and reasonable fashion. My 930 appointment made,well in advance for a recall (only one recall was viable) and oil change took more than five hours, (the recall was supposed to take 30 minutes and an oil change 30? You leave knowing the service has been completed, by professionally trained service personnel. Mike, my Service Manager, makes sure all requests are met and has the car washed before returning it to me in a timely fashion. Everyone in the dealership knows what they are doing and keep up the good work Hoffman... To date almost all visits were covered by the Toyota Care extended policy and/or the Extended Service Toyota Care we purchased. A great way to control repair/service costs. We go out of our way to be Hoffman customers.

I took my truck in for it's first service. Staff was polite, professional (yet comfortably friendly), and quick. The service that was done on my truck was done in a timely manner (only the 5000 mile svs). The only problem I have is with the "free was" on every service. The vehicle is washed but not dried. This is despite what the owners manual says to do. 2016 Tacoma Owner"s Manual page 434, 4th line down in the Cleaning and protecting the vehicle exterior. I don't want water spots on my truck. Especially on a new truck. If you aren't going to follow your owners manual then don't offer the service. If it weren't for the wash thing I would have given 5 stars...

Brought my vehicle to this Toyota service center to replace a recalled air inflation module, it is owned by the same organization from whom I purchased my Honda. I assume they did the work and that the work was for a valid recall and not just for Toyota to collect data on their sold autos......The workers were pleasant, they had the part, estimated it would take 1.5 hours, finished early in just around an hour, car was washed, no charges for anything as it was recall work.They didn't hassle me about recommendations but provided their inspection results and said to call and make an appointment if I wanted to proceed but knew I didn't take their recommendations last time. My issue is one of the recommendation is that the washer fluid was low and they provided a complimentary refill. I actually filled it less than two weeks before the appointment and hadn't used it much or at all since bringing the vehicle in to be serviced. When I filled it to the top it really wasn't even that empty so I know the reservoir is not leaking. This experience just cements the fact that you can't trust dealership service centers.Find a local trustworthy mechanic or perform the work yourself and buy a cheap diagnostic code reader to check trouble codes before bringing it to the auto shops to determine whether or not they are trying to scam you. This is the fourth toyota service center that has tried to take advantage of customers from not being able to repair a fan switch and charging me for it ($165) while under warranty saying it was a dislodged cable not 'broken' (3 visits - I ended up fixing it on my first try in under 30 minutes and under $20 for tools and has never failed since...), to breaking my CD player while trying to make that repair which requires absolutely no interfacing with the power system of the auto, scratching up my dash, to recommending engine coolant changes in first 40k miles. I avoid manufacturer service centers, they seem to have the least qualified mechanics and are most pressured for charging for extras. A good mechanic won't need to lie because they will be plenty busy without adding on unecessary services. Also if they aren't part of a chain they can operate more efficiently.

First encounter with the dealership was on a Wednesday night.. Walked in, looking at the selection & prices. Was very pleased that no one hustled me, no one pressured me. When I finally decided to purchase on Thursday, Julio did a terrific job, between showing me the vehicle & its technical specs & actually closing the sale... There was one glitch during the actual purchase, Mike's printer did not work. We have come to this dealership for the last several cars we've leased/purchased. We have always had Jose Rivera as our sales person and he has always been exceptional-wonderful to deal with and was this time as well. However, the management person we were dealing with was very condescending, Jose Espinosa, and acted as though we would have no idea about financing and wasn't honest with us.Also, it was a snowy day while we were there, and there were actually employees sleeping in some of the demo cars inside the building- it was totally unprofessional. The process of purchasing a vehicle takes quite a while as it is, but then to see that you have to wait for your sales person to run around and do everything while several others just slept was just unbelievable. Aside from Jose Rivera, the customer service experience was horrible.We don't think we will ever go to this dealership again.

Rich Gadomski was the most professional and gave me the feeling he knew what he was talking about. Rich is a great asset to Hoffman and I hope they recognize that. The actual work was completed appropriately. Their customer service needs work. I waited on hold to make the appointment. When I arrived I waited for a service write-up person to get to me. (Three people waiting and only one write-up person available). I left the car with them and they said they would call when it was ready. They did not. I called and, again after a long hold, they searched for the paperwork and told me the car was ready. When I arrived the search was again launched for the paperwork. When it was located I was able to retrieve my car. Not the best experience.

In October 2015, Hoffman Toyota on Rt 44 West, West Avon, CT, recommended several major repairs to keep my 2005 Camry with 150k+ miles on the road. I pay cash for everything, so Mike and I worked out a plan to chip away at the list. We worked together for six months, addressing the safety items first. I had an appointment for 7 a.m. Saturday morning. I dropped my vehicle off on Friday. I received a call that the car was ready at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Most everything was completed to my satisfaction. The car wash that is included was a very poor job. The windows were all spotted with dirty water. The rear window was only half washed. I can see the line where the window was washed and where it wasn't. When I started my vehicle the radio was blaring on a station that I would never listen to. Not the end of the world but really not necessary to be playing around with things in my vehicle when I bring it in for service.

The first car I bought, I was just starting my first "real" job after graduating from college. Ten years on, I decided it was time for a change, and MAN did that new Prius look gorgeous. My dad would take me to Hoffman as a kid many a time to "test drive" the back seat of the cars he was looking at, and I had fond memories of the curious gazebo-esque structures that used to define "Hoffman" in my brain. I knew that if I was going to drive off with a new car at all, I'd want to do it there. So I made an appointment to test drive the Prius and got to work.Considering that I work freelance, I'm used to haggling prices -- and I know there's a subset of people out there who enjoy the haggling experience. I'm not one of them, and honestly, I walked into Hoffman fully expecting a miserable experience. What I got was a rather robust series of back-and-forths (the initial numbers, the "family has a purchase history with Hoffman" numbers, and finally the "competing dealer I'd rather not go to is offering this, can you match them" numbers). When the agreement was finalized, I felt good about it -- and when you're driving off the lot with a brand new car, that's the feeling you want.

The customer service was good, friendly, helpful. My check engine light came on in my 2013 Sienna and I was able to schedule a drop off appointment quickly. I was informed by phone on the status and estimated completion time. Rich was good at keeping me updated. My only complaint is probably more due to company policy. With technology being so good, technicians should be taking photos of problems to show clients. I think with this addition there is better justification of prices. I understand that prices are going to be higher at a dealership, with significant overhead, but with photos (proof) maybe there is more understanding of the prices. Overall I was happy with my experience and I will use them again.

I am the kind of person who would rather go to the dentist than deal with car salesmen. Hence, my reluctance to go to the dealership and return my leased vehicle which was well over its mileage allotment. I didn't want the aggravation. I went in expecting the worst, especially since I was assigned to their general sales manager, Jose Espinosa. I immediately thought, "oh no here we go, what type of number shifting and nonsense is he going to throw my way?" To my pleasant surprise, yes, "pleasant", I was not given the run around, nor did my wallet suffer any damage! I drove out of there with a new vehicle and no pain. We were in and out fast, found the car that was perfect for our family, and when it came time to talk financing Jamal Alkatib proved he is the best in the business. There was never any pressuring, or the typical "greasy" used car salesman feel, and everyone was willing to help, including Caitlin Vargas who facilitated the entire deal from my initial online inquiry. Just purchased our 3rd car from Hoffman, second from Jose Rivera. We live in Western Mass and pass many other Toyota dealerships on the way. Jose had been one the best salesman I've dealt with ever while purchasing a vehicle. Since we live an hour away, we were able to work through most of the details prior to our arrival. We were in and out, driving our new car in under an hour. It does not get easier than that. Without a doubt I would (and will) return as a customer. It took us months to decide what vehicle to purchase. We started with Patrick at Hoffman, who previously leased a vehicle to me and sold at least one, if not two, to our son. We ended up leasing from another dealer and it became very complicated. We decided, no more of this, and we went back to Patrick. He showed us several vehicles and we settled on two--but wanted to drive the second one, which no one had in stock. As soon as Patrick had one, I drove it, made sure it would work for our purposes, and asked him to get us one. Once the decision was made, he had a vehicle for us in a few days--and gave us a more than fair trade-in for our very old vehicle. (Thanks, Jose!) Jamal found us financing at a great rate and he made the usually painful signing on the dotted line painless. Our family has purchased six vehicles and leased one from Hoffman over the years. I'll go back there again when the lease on my other vehicle is up.

Start to finish I was extremely happy with my purchase experience at Hoffman Toyota. I was able to pick a vehicle without pressure and was given a highly competitive price without a lot of hassle. Once I decided to purchase I was offered options such as extended warranty but their was no "hard sell" just a straightforward explanation of my different options. My salesperson John Rossley was extremely helpful particularly in familiarizing me with some of the great new audio, navigation and Bluetooth technologies all of which he was very up to date on and helped me to set up prior to delivery. I've never stayed with any type (dealership, franchise, independent) of repair shop for more than 2 or 3 years. For 15 years my family has been bringing our Toyotas and Lexus in for service and we've never, ever, had a complaint. This visit was no different; great service...again. Brought my daughter's 2002 Pontiac in for vibration issue and Rich identified a bent wheel. (My daughter swears she doesn't know how/when it happened - ha!) The 14 year old part is no long being manufactured, but Rich tracked a new one down and had it shipped from Indiana at a very reasonable price. Car drives great and was returned washed and vacuumed. We have 2 cars from Toyota Hoffman; Highlander Ltd and Rav4 Ltd. Both have about 45k miles. All warning lights came on the Rav4 dash and took it in for code scan and fix. Scan code is $120, the problem was the O2 sensor that would cost another $420. I questioned whether a TSB or recall would address the O2 sensor as they normally go ~ 100k miles. No dice...$420 and he recommended that the other should be replaced as well as they normally go together...tack on another $300+. I told him he can pull the car up front and I will handle myself or through a local shop. My research shows that I can buy both O2 sensors, a blue tooth scan tool to detect and clear codes, any tools I don't have and less than 2 hours of my time and it would cost me $160 vs $940 and i have a scan tool for the future. They also recommend a front brake job (which they correctly indicated two weeks ago when I went in for an oil change) which I replaced last week for $72...they wanted $320.

This was a very positive experience. Very professional all around. Published price was fair, with internet reduction, but got a little extra discount because, I think you know that the customer expects at least a few hundred additional reduction to make him "feel good". Everyone wants to feel that they got "something" off the published price, so that was good.We remembered Matt from a few months ago, when we were considering purchase and came back and asked for him, which I know he appreciated. Matt followed up shortly afterward to ask if we had any questions about the new car, which was nice. Mike V was informative and helpful with the finance options. Mike F explained well what was wrong with our old Sienna and what was needed to get it back in shape, if we chose to do so. Everyone at Hoffman was very nice and accommodating with the trade in, and overall.

From my first phone call to Hoffman inquiring about a 2016 Tacoma I had seen online, to my eventual purchase of a different Tacoma, every one I dealt with was friendly, and quick to help in any way possible. I had been to a couple of other Connecticut Toyota dealerships already looking for a Silver Sky Sport Tacoma, and Jim, the sales manager had let me know that a Barcelona Red Tacoma was going to be delivered to Hoffman. I took the drive just to see the options on the truck, never thinking I would like the red one. I was greeted with a smile by Jesus Roche as soon as I walked in. I couldn't have picked a nicer man to end up having as a salesman. After opening up the Tacoma, he let me relax and check out all the options on my own. What a difference it makes when you can see how everything fits, feels, and works without someone looking over your shoulder. After my third visit to Hoffman, to my surprise, I bought the red truck, and I absolutely love it.

Had problems getting the vehicle into 4WD. Service department could not replicate the issue, but spent lots of time testing the car and made sure we knew how to get it into 4WD.There was no charge. Very impressed!

We were provided fair and straightforward pricing. Invoice pricing plus additional manufacturer's rebates. Every question was answered. Courteous, respectful and very patient. Every detail was taken care of and as painless as possible. Helped us work the lease so that it would fit our budget. We visited a number of dealerships. I took my vehicle (2006 Tacoma 4WD) for service, as the check engine light came on. After they checked it out, the tech reported that I had an additional problem. The truck has 140,000+ miles on it and the gear oils (transmission, transfer case, front and rear diffs), according to the tech, had never been changed. The "mechanic" said that it was clear that the drain plugs had never been touched. In fact, I changed all the fluids myself 2 months ago. I almost stripped the rear diff plug trying to get it off, so it clearly would have looked abused in an honest inspection. As a result, I had no service done there, and will not return. I cannot trust them.

I took my son's car to Hoffman for the first time. It was the first service since we had purchased it used in October 2014. Mike Fitzgerald was very friendly, fast, efficient and clear in describing the service that would be performed, and had suggestions for deferring tasks that really weren't needed at this time but could be handled at a later visit. The car was ready as projected, and had been nicely washed besides. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and will certainly take the car there for any future service needs.

I was very happy with the service you provided yesterday on my Toyota Highlander. Mike was exceptional!However, I was not pleased when I went up to your Body Shop. When I arrived there must have been at least 6 people outside smoking. When I got out my car all I could smell was cigarette smoke. I work in cancer diagnostics and the one thing that I can't stand is people smoking! Smokers don't care about their health and I think that may be true about their jobs as well. I will take my business elsewhere.

I recently traded in my truck for an F350 they had on their lot with 32k miles. I had no intention of buying that day but they gave me an offer on my old truck for $1000 over what I had agreed to sell it for on the private market . I drove it home that night.Generally when salespeople make their sale they'll completely disregard the customer and move onto the next one. Julio Sosa, the salesperson I was working with, was more than friendly and willing to address and resolve both the issue of a faulty parking sensor and a damaged key fob on my new truck a couple days after I bought it. The entire ordeal (which I generally despise) was very pleasant and pain free. I highly recommend them.

It seems that Linda Shultz is a bit confused and un-organized, she didn't remember I was waiting there when I asked if they were working on my car, after everyone else had left that were there after me she said, oh I didn't know you were waiting. Then she checked and said that the car was actually being worked on. I told her that I would would wait in the waiting room, 5 minutes later she called my cell to tell my car was ready and I could come and get it, I again told her I just spoke to her and I was in the waiting room. She then tried to sell me extra service, as I watched my car being driven out, obviously already complete.Going forward I will only deal with Mike Fitzgerald, he has always given me excellent service.

I trade cars about every 3 years and started looking at possibly getting a Toyota. My previous two cars were hybrids and I loved the great gas mileage but missed the power and feel of a V-6. When visiting Hoffman, I wanted to experience the drive of a V-6 vs. I 4 Hybrid, and without hesitation, the sales people provided access to both for my driving experience. The last car I drove was a Hybrid Avalon, which to my expectations was very quite, drove easily and was as peppy as a V-6. Hoffman gave me a great deal on a trade.

I always come in for my 5000 mile check up and usually it's not a big deal. This time I needed new brakes which was going to take 3 hours. Rather than wait, they had an extra loaner car and I was on my way. The car was ready as promised, 3 hours later. Linda Schultz was, as usual, wonderful to deal with; pleasant, efficient and knowledgable!

This is my second experience purchasing a Prius with the same salesman, Jose Rivera. He served my husband and myself very well with answering many questions that we had in response to 2015 vs. 2016. He also took the time to take us out looking for different colors in the lot and when we finally decided, he went out and cleaned the snow off the car we chose and brought it to the salesroom so that I could try driving it. He is a most personable salesman who tries to do as much as he has control of in the pricing and purchasing of a car. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I tried my best to buy a car from them, in inventory, but I guess they are looking for customers to beg...I found the car I was looking for online, sent my inquiry and got an Internet quote. The next day, I spoke with a person there and told them I'd stop by later. She then wrote me that her manager said he was selling the vehicle at MSRP, in other words, the Internet quote was just to get me to come in. After I said I wasn't interested anymore, due to the price change, I got a vague email from the manager to com in and talk. Since then, I've emailed the manager twice, with no reply. Today, I went to the dealer, but the manager was no where to be found. So... I don't think these are serious people.

Julio Sosa's sincere and charismatic salesmanship won over my entire family. His gentle, genuine guidance made for a lovely car buying experience. The 2016 4Runner sells itself, although Julio Sosa's sweet and natural sense of humor coupled with his caring and patient manner closed the deal. We will drive the commute to Hoffman Toyota for routine service, just to check in with Julio! Having just replaced our 2002 4Runner, the running joke is that we will test drive our next truck in 2030 with Julio.

My daughters 2001 Toyota Camry was running poorly after another garage did a head gasket replacement. Also, we had bought the car used and the Check Engine light had always been on and could not be reset, speaking to bigger problems. To get it fixed right we decided to try the local Toyota dealership. Mike Fitzgerald greeted us outside the Service garage doors and walked us through the entire check-in process. He made our options clear as to cost of the initial inspection of the car. Mike stayed in constant touch with us for the week it took to get the car repaired to 100% operational excellence. As each new issue arose, Mike provided options, realistic estimates, and valid timelines. When we needed a courtesy vehicle after the first few days went by, Hoffman Toyota did not blink an eye when offering us a fully loaded Corolla that we used for four days. In the end, the car is running like new and is reliable again. Thank you Mike and the ace mechanical staff for providing excellent customer service and craftsmanship.

I would like to praise Mike Fitzgerald for providing excellent service on our 2006 Sienna. The car has over 150K miles and recently required some unexpected work on the power steering system. I was not happy with the cost, but Mike helped me understand the importance of the work if we were to keep the car going. When I had to bring the car back for some additional work, he personally worked with me, and provided reasonable pricing. I believe Mike cares about his clients and wants to make them as happy as possible. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I would like to thank the sales and finance staff at Hoffman Toyota for an exceptionally well executed sale last month. Living in CT and working in NYC makes it very challenging to manage personal matter, particularly finding and purchasing a new car. From the initial email inquiry, my sales person John Oulundsen was able to quickly and efficiently provide me with the information I needed. I can't even explain how amazing the service they provide is. I couldn't make it down to the dealership the day I needed to get the car. Jamal and Larry figured a way where Larry would drive to my work(15 minutes away) AND my co-signers work(45 minutes away) and Larry even offered to stay after they closed to make sure I got the car that day. I was blown away with how quickly they went above and beyond on the service they provide. Jamal is by far the BEST finance dealer I have ever worked with he goes the extra mile to get you the lowest and best deals he can manage. My most recent service appointment with Hoffman Toyota was on 7-23-15 and the purpose of this appointment was to correct all of the "caution areas" identified a month earlier, when I went in for an oil change and check of all systems possibly needing repair or adjustment. On my visit of 7-23-15, I was immediately met by the service advisor, Michael Fuhr. After showing him the paperwork showing the areas noted Caution on the earlier visit, he immediately explained to me what would be done to correct these, as well as to evaluate any other areas of my vehicle, to be sure there were no other caution factors present. I could not have been more pleased with the excellent, professional, informative, and efficient response and completion of work, I received from Michael. I will certainly return to Hoffman Toyota, and continue to recommend this dealership to my friends in the future.

If you are looking for the cheapest possible price on a car keep shopping around and I am sure you could get a better deal at a sleazy dealer. If you want a fair deal, great service and a clean showroom staffed by courteous professionals pay a few hundred dollars more and buy your car at Hoffman. As the saying goes you get what you pay for, other dealers will offset that great deal on a car with a bad offer on your trade or they will hard sell you on every coating or accessory they can. Not Hoffman they will get you the car you want with the accessories you want and offer a fair deal on your trade.

From the moment I contacted Hoffman Toyota I was pleased with the customer service I received. Heather replied to my email immediately. Julio had the 3 cars that I requested to test drive ready when I arrived for my appointment. He was so patient in letting me spend as much time as I needed driving the cars and asking lots of questions. I never felt rushed or pressured. The finance department worked with me to arrive at a deal that I was comfortable with. When I picked up my Rav4, Julio spent a lot of time explaining how everything worked. It was a busy Saturday and still he took the time to make sure I was comfortable before driving away. This is my second purchase at Hoffman Toyota and I highly recommend this dealership.

I was very pleased with my experience here. It was my first time buying a new car and Matt West made it so painless. On the first day, he showed me all three trim levels for the Toyota Highlander and was very patient. While he did point out all the great features of the car and benefits to buying a Toyota vehicle, he wasn't very pushy like other sales guys can be. He helped me in my decision making process and was respectful of the fact that I was still looking around at other dealerships. He was quick to follow up with me after my initial visit and was very attentive and easy to get in touch with. Negotiating with James Fappiano was quick and also painless. Once I made the purchase, it took two weeks for my car to arrive to the dealership (which I was aware of). Although it seemed like a long time, Matt checked in frequently (even on his day off!) to keep me updated on the status of the car. Mike Viara took care of all my insurance and registration details that it couldn't have been any easier. Everyone was very courteous and welcoming and I would highly recommend Hoffman Toyota to anyone looking to purchase a new car.

Hoffman Toyota service group is wonderful. From start to finish they are friendly, caring, and professional. They provide great customer service and take the time to explain what may be wrong with your vehicle, options that you may have to fix it or what the potential consequences are if you don't fix it at that time. They provide a great waiting room that is clean and comfortable with a tv, coffee, water and two computers for customers to use. It makes any wait that you may have much easier. If you don't want to wait they also have a shuttle service to take you to home or pick you up. I appreciate the work the service team does and I am especially happy with the Assistant Service Manager, Mike Fitzgerald. I would go to the dealership just for him. He is the epitome of great customer service. However, the entire group is like a big family and does a wonderful job. You definately get the sense they care about you as a person.

I was planning on making an appt. for the rotation and they took it right in as well as checked everything out regarding my fob/starting problem. It started when I pulled up to service door 6:57 the attendant was there to check me in. WhenI turned around my service person Keith greeted by first name and asked for ins card and license and to go to his office . Within five minutes I was driving my loaner car out the door and able to make an early meeting I had to win late and went to sales dept. my car was right in front. Receptionist give me keys and paperwork and was out in two minutes

Mike Fitzgerald and Keith Lundy did a great job! Took car in for second time for intermittent audio display unit problem and door lock problem. This time Mike and Keith asked the shop foreman to join us as I explained the problem. I was given a loaner vehicle and they took the day troubleshooting both problems. They were able to diagnose both problems, complete repairs on the lock mechanism, but had to order replacement parts for the audio unit. Overall I couldn't be happier with their responsiveness and the quality of their shop's work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tyrrell geeted me and turned over to Julio. I explained I wasn't happy with the way Wallingford Toyota had treated me, and wanted to see what they could offer. I was undecided on whether to lease again or buy. We looked at a Rav4 which I had driven the week before, and decided it was what I wanted. Tyrrell worked up the numbers and we aged on a price. I told him I could get better financing through my credit union and he said he would have Mike work on it. Mike came back with lower rate than my credit union. Mike and I then went over all the coverages available, and I choice what I wanted. Julio got the car ready for me, took me through all the options and features and set up my Bluetooth. All three were heat to work with and made my experience very enjoyable. The only problem was, when I got home there was a commercial for Rav4 with 60 months and 0.9 financing. My credit rating is over 800 and I got 2.19 financing for 72 months. It seems we could have done a little better there.

We just bought a Highlander from Hoffman and had a wonderful experience--great price on the car, great price on our trade in, and great customer service from everyone. And, Mike, the finance manager got us a better rate on our loan than we had asked for (based on preapproval elsewhere). Great experience and no pressure. I told them what I wanted my lease payment to be and my total out of pocket to be and they were able to meet my payment and offered me less out of pocket than what I put down last time. The experience was so positive my daughter went back with me the next day and leased a Toyota Camry XSE. She was leasing a Honda Accord.Both Jose River and Jose Espinosa worked great as a team for both me and my daughter and my daughter. Jose Espinosa kept crunching numbers while Jose Rivera kept bring up cars for us to look at and test drive.I am going back in 3 days to negotiate a lease for a friend of mine, they think I got great lease payments with very little out of pocket, their monthly payment is $153.00 / mo. higher than mine

My wife and I purchased a new Highlander and Tundra from Jose Rivera which we feel went well. That positive experience continued with the service department. Hoffman Toyota is an hour away from our home with closer dealerships available. From my wife's and mother's past negative experiences with their Rav4's at a local dealer, we decided to try Hoffman based on a recommendation. After the purchase, my Tundra had a slight interior rattle that I wanted to have looked at as I am very OCD with these types of things. I figured it would be a Warranty claim so why not try the local dealership again.... BIG mistake. They "couldn't duplicate" the issue, refused to go on a test drive with me so I can replicate it and even denied to look at videos I took of the issues. I called Jose and asked if he recommended working with anyone at Hoffman Service and he said Mike Fitzgerald was the guy to talk to and reached out to him to have Mike call me. I heard from Mike later that afternoon, whom was pleasant and listened to me vent about my past poor experience with the other dealer. He assured me I would not experience such behavior with Hoffman service and set me up with an appointment on a Thursday to bring my truck in and provide me with a loaner for as long as the repair would take. When I arrived Mike greeted me and introduced me to Nelson whom I went on a 20 min test drive with after he and Mike both reviewed my videos. While during the test drive the issue didn't occur (figures), Nelson still looked into it further, taking the truck on many test drives over the next 3-4 days. I heard from Mike on Monday and he stated Nelson believes he heard and resolved the rattle in the dash, but wanted to take the truck home that night to confirm the issue was resolved. The following morning Mike called me and said the truck is ready to be picked up and to stop by anytime. Tuesday afternoon I made the trip to Hoffman and Mike suggested I go for another ride with Nelson. We took the same 20 min. route and confirmed the rattle was indeed gone. Nelson explained along the way the amount of time and level of troubleshooting he spent on this issue. Having worked in automotive service in the past, I understand chasing down noises is not a fun job. Upon returning from the ride, Mike confirmed I was happy with results and assured me that I will always see the same level of service from them. I truly do believe that!

My parents and I were in search of a new car after one of our older cars started malfunctioning. We had two Toyota Corollas prior to shopping for a new car so we were thinking about possibly looking for a new Toyota Corolla to purchase. We went to different dealerships in Connecticut and this is one of the dealerships we tried. My parents first went to the dealership to look at the cars and they told me they saw a gorgeous Corolla 2015 model in a Slate color positioned inside the dealership. They met an extremely helpful and friendly woman named Jeanette who helped them see the many features of the car that suited us. She helped my parents see the many benefits of buying this car and over time, my parents were sold on purchasing this car. My parents told me the news excitedly and asked my opinion about it. They brought me to the dealership and I got to see the car firsthand and like my parents, I loved it right away. I loved the design and the color. Jeanette was extremely helpful and patient and helped us with all of our questions. We always want to be careful and precise about our purchases especially a car purchase and she completely understood and helped us figure out insurance, coverage, etc. She also found a guy to help us understand this further too. His name is Mike and he was extremely helpful as well. Overall, my parents and I had a great experience at this dealership and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend this dealership to anyone thinking about purchasing a new car!

And I thank God I didn't sign any of the outrageous contracts offered to me by smaller local dealers in the Hartford area! As soon as I walked in Hoffman Toyota, I felt like family! Greeted by everyone with awesome hospitality. Jeannette Garcia made sure I was well taken care of and I felt well taken care of. I went with a 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid and absolutely adore my new car!! Jamal Alkali was also great in getting me the best rate ever! I have never had a better experience when bringing my car to a dealership to have my car serviced. Mike Fitzgerald made sure to take care of me from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. He provided an excellent explanation of what they would be doing to my car during the service and gave me his undivided attention the entire time I was working with him. He was extremely personable, yet professional at the same time. Scheduled routine 35,000 mile service online, and 1) Was told they didn't have my paperwork when I arrived. Since this has occurred before, I showed the rep the print-out from their own reservation system....Turns out, this seems to be a known problem... Note to Hoffman: FIX it, or simply proactively print out the daily schedule rather than waste my time.2)Discussed intermittent leak from the oil filter they had previously installed. Emphasized that the new filter must be properly seated/installed. 1 1/2 hours later, they had not done the oil change, (or addressed the leaking filter) because 'its not part of this service'. REALLY? After questioning, rep left and returned to say OOPS, an oil change IS supposed to be done. ... Note: Do what you are supposed to do WELL the first time and stop pushing other stuff. Meantime, annoyed customer waits.... 3) 2 hours into it... I'm directed to a window to sign paperwork and was informed my next service has been scheduled for 6 months from today, not, "May I set up your next appointment?" Note to Hoffman: I do not want you deciding when and where I will be 6 months from now. Nor is there any reason to believe I'll be at 40,000 miles in 182 days.. This is arrogance disguised as service efficiency and wastes my time cancelling and rescheduling.4) Today they called to check if we'd brought in the vehicle for the service....They had no record of it! Really? What happens when we have an issue and they claim we did not do all the required service??? We made the mistake of buying an extended service contract from Hoffman, or I would not be taking the Toyota back to them in future. PS there is no wi-fi or outlet to use while waiting.

My wife and I purchased a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and could not have been happier with the experience. We were greeted by Larry as soon as we started walking around the parking lot looking at cars, and his patience and customer service is one of the reasons why we will return to purchase a second car in the future and purchase it from him. He listened to what we wanted, guided us in the direction we wanted to go and didn't waste our time with a vehicle we didn't want. We told him exactly what we wanted in the car we were looking for and that we wanted to test drive several cars. He even took the time to check other Hoffman dealerships in the area for other brands that matched what we were looking for. After deciding we wanted to move forward with the 2015 RAV4, Larry, Jose and Jamal worked with us to get the payment down to where we needed it to be, even after the car we were traded in came back with negative equity and a higher pay-off than expected. While initially nervous about making such a huge purchase on the first day and first car we test drove, we walked away with a great car that met all of our needs both financial and utilitarian. Larry, Jose and Jamal truly lived up to the Hoffman motto, "Driven By Trust" a quality that is very hard to find in a car dealer today. We will definitely be back and spread the word!

I was able to purchase a 2012 Toyota Camry xle wih Hoffman Toyota. Thanks to Jeanette Garcia and Tyrrell Dabrowski, they were able to finance my new vehicle and take my 2000 Pontiac As a trade in. They worked with me on my down payment and offered me more money for my trade in even though it wasn't worth more than $1.00!! I am so thankful for them. My Highlander required unexpected repairs that equated to an unexpected cost. Mike Fitzgerald took the time to explain the deficiency in terms I could understand and impressed upon me, in a sincere fashion, the potential repercussions, should we continue to drive the vehicle as is. He was courteous and accommodating in every way, from getting the family into a all-wheel-drive loaner and then extending our opportunity to use the vehicle, to helping where he could from a cost perspective. Julio was helpful during my car-buying experience. I didnt test drive at Hoffman because I had done enough test driving and knew what I wanted to buy. I was short on time that day, but we discussed figures and potential car payments quickly and without pressure. I ended up buying my car elsewhere, but I likely would have bought from Hoffman if they had the color I wanted. (I had a deadline because of cash-back incentives from Toyota and was worried that if they got that car from another dealership, I couldnt complete my purchase in time to receive those incentives.)

After searching for a used SUV we found Hoffman Toyota had the lowest prices around and a very good selection of the RAV4 we were looking for. Ed knew all there was to know about the car and was very pleasant to deal with, as was George and all the staff we worked with to finalize the purchase, complete with a bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind. We had a minor problem with a heater fan which Toyota fixed at no cost and gave the car a nice wash too. It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Was treated well by Mr Dabrowski, the Salesman he had help me and the finance officer. All were nice, courteous, and friendly as were all personnel I encountered directly or iindirectly.My only disappointment was having to return my old plates to DMV in person. I was led to believe it was a simple process but is not as you have to wait in line like all the other people who have more complex transactions at the DMV. It is hard to understand why a dealership can issue new plates but can not take the old ones.

Really good quality customer service is so hard to find these days. But, I have consistently found outstanding service at Hoffman Toyota. Everyone we have dealt with really has been very pleasant. But, over the past year, my Toyota Sienna (2005) has had a series of very expensive recommendations. It got to the point where the quality of the vehicle has come into question. Mike Fitzgerald took the lead on my latest set of issues. He understood my disappointment. He saw that we are good, loyal customers who consistently get my car inspected at the recommended times. Even with these 5000 mile check ups, we still had issues.Mike worked with us on what were the more urgent issues and helped us through what could have been a very annoying few days. He returned phone calls, followed up and was always there to see that our needs were met. It means a lot to have a contact we can count on when it comes to our car. All of the staff are very courteous and helpful and always willing to "go the extra mile." I once had a huge "creaking noise" on my 1999 lexus. I had no clue what the issue was, and these guys worked tirelessly to figure out the problem. They did a very very good job.My primary contact at Hoffman Toyota is Mike Fitzgerald. I would recommend anyone seek him out as a service provider. He is friendly, knowledgeable, a "straight shooter" and all around a pleasure to work with. He has always provided me very good advice that ends up saving me time and money, and coupled with being a good person to work with, that's the most important thing. 5's all around!

I was promptly and courtously greated by my CSR, Linda S. My requested, unscheduled service was qiickly recoreded and my service coupon accepted. Linda kept me updated periodically throughout the service visit. Linda reviewed the service findings/recommendations and answered my questions about what needed to be done by when. The only issue I had was minor - I was informed that my vehicle would be brought to the bay for pick up in about 5 minutes. 15 - 20 minutes there was no vehicle (it turned out to be a back up on car washing). I left without the car wash but would have left earlier if I had known of the delay. Still, the service was fine and Linda was courteous and informative.

My first surprise was, I didn't have to leave my car in the lot, which can be confusing. you can drive it right to the service door and drive in, where you are met by a service employee who will take the car and direct you to the service manager, who in turn will take your information. The service lounge was clean and comfortable, with coffee and tea. My wait was short and my second surprise, my car was serviced and washed. We always feel the car runs better when serviced and now it looked better. My overall experience with Hoffman Motors is great, from the time I bought my car and the care and service afforded myself and my vehicle. Larry Gendler

First purchase from this dealership. The price negotiating was a stalemate and one of the worst purchases I have had in 30 years. They are very reluctant to match pricing from similar dealers. You basically have to accept what they offer or be ready for a long back and forth negotiating process.Communication was less than favorable.Not a dealership for the average person, geared towards upper middle class clients so if you are blue collar like me, look for another dealer.Forget about trade in values, they won't give you close to what your vehicle is worth. Better to sell it on your own. I would not recommend this Toyota dealer. Their Honda shop is much better in my opinion.

I was given an appointment date and time, when I called that met my needs. This was extremely important to me, for which I am very greatful. My Service Advisor Mike Fuhr, welcomed me upon my arrival. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. He made sure he knew what the vehicle issues were, that needed to be addressed. Mike also came to get me after the work was done. He went the completed report, addressing all that we discussed needing to be done. Advised me how to handle any other questions I might have in the future. Initially I stopped in Toyota on Rt 44 Canton explaining to "Michael" that my radio was not working. He stated it might take about an hour to evaluate/fix and/or recommend alternative. Within that one hour, he told me the radio was broken, needed to order a new one which should arrive within a week of them placing the order; or before! Approximately two days later, I received a call; radio was in, would I like to make an appointment to arrange the replacement?? Very polite, to the point and efficient!I scheduled that appoinment for the following Monday; was told by "Michael" it would take approximately one hour and 10 minutes to replace the radio. They did. I had mentioned to Michael that the speaker on the right side of the car was crackling, very static. He stated they would take a look at that at the same time as replacing the radio. The speaker was damaged. Michael stated they would order a new one and replace. When the speaker arrived, they would call me. Again, might take a few days; it took approximately two days. Received a call, the speaker was in. Scheduled the service and witihin the designated time, the speaker was replaced and I was on my way.I have bought 3 Toyota's to date from this same dealer because of their quality, service and respect shown me as a valued customer.

I went to buy the 2013 Toyota Corolla Le. I made an appointment over the phone with Jose Espinosa. When I went to the dealership, there were few staffs around but no one bothered to help me out. After 10 minutes of waiting time, Jose Espinosa came to me asking how he can help me. I told him what I was looking for. He said he will check on the system and come back in 2 minutes. Guess what, we waited for 15 minutes still he didn't. When I went to his office to see what he was doing he was with some other people. He didn't even bother to have someone help me out when he was busy with other. Felt completely ignored. I then asked another associate (Worrel Whyte) who was passing by me if he could help me. He seemed nice at first. He took me to show the vehicle. We came back to discuss the price. I wasn't happy with what he quoted. And he said, "YOU WASTED MY TIME. PEOPLE LIKE YOU COME HERE AND WASTE MY TIME". Worst customer service I ever experienced from Hoffman Toyota and these two people. I would never ever recommend anyone to deal with these people. Stay away.

I cannot get over how easy and painless our experience was with Malvin and Hoffman Toyota. Malvin is easy to work with and friendly - not one of those sleazy sales types. I enjoyed the way the employees worked together. Jose, the manager?, was a delight and paid attention to what seemed like everyone in the room with ease but without, once again, the salesy yuck that I thought we were going to have to deal with. This is my second trip to this dealership, I will never shop anywhere else. Their sales service department is impeccable. Tyrrell and Matt went out of their way to make sure I was fully satisfied with my vehicle purchase. I was so undecided that they had let me test drive the vehicles for the day to be sure that it was what i was looking for. The pricing was perfect and the loan processing from Jamal took very minimal time, with a blink of an eye I was in my new vehicle. This dealership makes you feel right at home and very comfortable. I would definitely reccomend this dealership to any one shopping for a car.

We purchased a 2008 Toyota Sienna from this dealership about 4 months ago. We saw the car on the internet and went in for a test drive. Malvin Brown was helpful and informative but not a pushy salesman. We purchased the van that day; Malvin gave us a fair price for our trade in and promised to take care of some minor items that we wanted fixed and cleaned. Three days after picking up the van; the battery went dead. We were obviously upset. Malvin and the manager of Hoffman took care of replacing the battery. At that time the mechanic working on the battery noted that the tires were not balanced. We made an appointment. When we went back in for the tire rotation, we had found another issue with a noisy fan in the heater which was not part of the safety issue and at first they would have to charge me for the repair. We spoke with the manager of Hoffman, Mr. Dabrowski, and he was able to take care of these issues (tire balancing and heater fan) without a charge. We were impressed that Hoffman (especially Mr. Dabrowski) took customer satisfaction seriously. We can purchase a car anywhere; but we value a business that stands behind their product; recognizes that there might be unforeseen problems and then takes care of them. Reliability and responsibility will not only sell a product but will assure return customers.

Ed got me the exact car I wanted in a timely manner. He answered all my questions clearly. He did not "play games" with me. He made a firm offer for my used car and stuck with that number. All in all it was as pleasant an experience as is possible in what for me was a very stressful situation. The only thing I wished he had done differently was to discuss a loan from his dealership. He probably didn't because I was quite adament about using my line of credit.

After all the paperwork was printed, he found a much better rate which was so appreciated especially in this economy. I recommend this dealership to anyone.

Typical car dealer nightmare wher you are attacked from every angle to find out how best to get them the most for your money. Said it was their best deal and then call you in a few days saying they can get you a better deal. They were $1,700 more than anothet Toyota dealer.

We had four Toyota dealerships competing for our business on a new Rav4. Hoffman came in the lowest price of the bunch. We had a great shopping experience at Hoffman Toyota. Our salesman Curtis made the whole process as easy as can be. Even after we bought the car we noticed some scuffs on the radio that we didn't see when picking it up. Hoffman made it right. Highly Recommended!

Could not have asked for a better experience, than the one I had at Hoffman Toyota. They were patient with me, and made sure I was going to be happy with the vehicle I chose. When it was between a couple of different cars, they allowed me to take them home for a night and really drive them, to see if they were the right fit. As long as I am in Connecticut Hoffman Toyota is the only place I will go for my car needs.

Jesus and Jose gave us a MORE than fair price for our trade-in and an exceptional price for a new Camry xle. When the sale was final Jesus followed us to the nearest gas station to fill the car up with gas and even PUMPED the gas for us! To be totally honest, my boyfriend can be a LOT to handle (he's in sales as well) and these two gentleman did an exceptional job maintaining professionalism.

We were originally reluctant to buy from Hoffman Toyota because of a stressful experience in finalizing a lease from Hoffman Honda a few years before. Rick Siedman, our salesman, persuaded us to buy from Hoffman Toyota by promising that the two stores ran very differently, and that we would have a much better experience with him at Toyota. Rick was right. He and Jose Espinosa arranged a long afternoon test drive for us that persuaded us to lease a new Highlander, and brought in our desired vehicle from out-of-state at a very competitive final lease price. The delivery experience was easy, and Anthony Bailey in the finance office made the closing of the lease deal fast and hassle-free, in particular by honoring a Hoffman Group direct mail coupon that had the ultimate effect of adding $1,000 to our lease down payment. This was an excellent car buying experience, and we'll definitely return to Hoffman Toyota.

Julio Sosa greeted us warmly as soon as we came in and quickly arranged to show us the car we saw on the Internet. As we were test driving it he explained in great detail why this car, the Rav4, would be a better choice than a Honda CRV which we also had come to see. Julio did such a great job of explaining that we didn't even bother to look anywhere else - we just bought the car on the spot. No matter how obscure or minute the questions I had for Julio, he answered them all with knowledge and confidence. His comparisons to the CRV made sense to us according to our lifestyle needs. I am so glad I came to him first rather than going to Honda - he saved us from making a mistake on the second largest purchase a person makes. The car- we love it so far - it is everything Julio says it would be. If anyone we know wants a car I will not hesitate to direct them not only to Hoffman but to Julio himself. Everyone was so friendly, answered my questions and concerns and helped me get through a tough situation. Everyone even though may of been tired from working a long day were very positive in the way they treated me and even though I was on a time crunch they made things happen and did not try to lure me away from my goal. This is experience was one of the best experiences with Hoffman. I previously purchased a vehicle from Hoffman Nissan, and even though they are all in the family type of dealership, Toyota/Scion was a better experience. Hoffman overall is a very well organized corporation and has values.

Very good dealership. Have bought many vehicles (new and used) from them. Rick was very friendly and patient throughout the entire process (even worked after closing to finish sales contract). Knowledgeable about vehicle and not an overly-aggressive sales person. Good experience.As for the vehicle, it is good, but I have a couple issues which I have yet to call on. I am very confident that they will do right by me. They always have.

I trust Curtis to the extent that I practically bought my Toyota Matrix sight unseen! He knew my needs, made the recommendation and that was good enough for me. He had an easy, friendly and trustworthy manner. I would not hesitate to deal with Curtis again, and in fact I would seek him out. My sales rep - George Corsa - was very knowledgeable of the Toyota product. Every question I asked him, he had an answer ready for me and was very clear explaining the new features of the car. My experience with George was very professional and very cordial. He was easy to speak with and he knew his product inside out. The Manager - Tyrell Dabrowski - was the first to greet me and he is a very energetic young man and made me feel quite welcome as I walked into the dealership. He too, was easy to work with and finalize the deal. The Credit Manager - Jamaal Alkatib - was very easy to deal with and he was very clear in explaining the contract we were about to sign and the advantages of exercising the extended warranty. Overall I would have to say as my wife and I walked into the dealership we were made to feel very welcome and we were treated great by everyone we came into contact with. This is my second Camry I have purchased from Hoffman and I would not hesitate at all to return to Hoffman for my third. When you walk thru the doors of Hoffman Toyota, they make you feel like part of the family.GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!

This is the 2nd car we have purchased at Hoffman Toyota and used John as our sales representitive. It is the 3rd car purchased from Hoffman Toyota. We have enjoyed working with John as he is very helpful and courteous and has given us a good fare deal. The entire staff at Hoffman Toyota have always the greatest to work with. In my pusuit of buying a new car, I visited several dealers and found that the reception I received was always somewhat less than desireable, in that the sales rep was always pursuing an immediate reaction and I felt like a "piece of meat". Unfortunatley many auto dealers generate an uncomfortable feeling when you walk in with their "hungry" attitude and pursuit of the potential customer. My experience at the Hoffman dealership, and with Rick Seidman in particular, was significantly different. I specifically remember arriving at the front door and being received in a pleasant and well mannered presence by Mr. Seidman. He was willing to spend time with me and to explain the various aspects of the car as well as the trade and purchase process. While we were unable to come to an immediate sale decision, Mr. Seidman remained engaged in the process in a very cordial and professional manner. Several phone conversations and discussions took place before the actual sale and delivery and he retained that professional and helpful demeanor at all times.I decided to buy from Hoffman despite the fact that it was somewhat distant from my home and where there were several other Toyota dealers in more reasonable proximity. I decided to buy from Hoffman because Mr. Seidman, by his presence and professional demeanor made me feel very comfortable in the purchase process. There was never a "push" or urgency to get to the next step in the process. I felt him to be trustworthy and professional in his manner and attitude and it was a pleasure doing business with the firm as a result of his presence.

I use to live in Connecticut a few years back and was in the market for another car. Driving to work I would pass this billboard everyday for Hoffman auto mall that had a picture of a man on it that I thought at the time was the owner or something. One day I stopped in and was surprised to see the man on the billboards around town was a real salesman. So I approach him and made a comment about his picture being all over town. We had a good laugh and then he asked how he could help me. Without boring you with the details I drove off the lot with a really good deal on a 1yr old toyota. I was very impressed with the way I was treated and not forced into something I didn't want. Mr. Bostic seem the be very honest and upfront with me and that made me feel like he cared. I have recommended everyone I know to visit him over the years. Now 10yrs after buying that Toyota ( that by the way still is running great) I am looking for a new car and was very pleased to find that Mr. Bostic is still there. I will be driving to Connecticut very soon to buy my car from the only car salesman that I trust.

The knowledge of the salesperson about the cars in stock was excellent. He made the whole process easy. He answered all our questions and went through the features on the car with us before we left the showroom. We had dealt with this salesperson before which is why we called him again when we were ready for a new car. The friendliness of the entire staff was outstanding. We would not hesitate to buy from this dealership again and highly recommend the dealership and salesperson to others.

We were looking for a reliable used car for our son. Mr. Dabroski was extremely helpful and helped us find exactly what we had in mind. The dealership detailed the car and removed several small blemishes and made the car look like new. Mr. Siedman helped us as well with the details of the purchase. These gentleman were professional, courteous, prompt, and made the whole process stress-free. We will definitely return to Hoffman Toyota when the time comes for another vehicle.

I got the best service and price! Never expected to buy a car in just a week after a long research and price comparison. The team at Hoffman Toyota was very knowledgeable, the paperwork process was easy. They have included everything we discussed prior to the sale. They provided me with an incredible finance option at a low percentage, introduced me to all incentive programs and helped me apply them towards my purchase. Besides 5 of my family members have made a purchase at the Hoffman Auto Group over the 10 year period and we all do service there. Great team and staff. Will definitely come back next time i have to buy!

I went to this dealership to try and get a straight answer about a Service Bulletin that I felt applied to my Avalon. Right from the beginning they were friendly and helpful. By the time I left, I had talked to 3 people, head service tech, service person, and the service manager. I couldn't be more pleased. They were honest and helpful displaying a full understanding of customer service.The issue is not resolved yet as I was only there yesterday, but the purpose of going was to get an honest answer to my questions and not to "get my way". They have done a great job in providing that. I feel that if you are selecting a dealership for a car purchase, you should select based on the service personnel. You have to deal with them much more in the future and when you are treated with respect and honesty, you better hang on to that service department. This isn't the first Toyota dealership I went to (forget the other one), but it will be the last, because I feel I can absolutely trust them. I would not hesitate in recommending this service department for any vehicle they work on and will surely consider them if I am even in the market for a new car.

I never felt pressured into making a hasty decision and I was very comfortable asking as many questions as I needed to. They also have the ability to get you the vehicle you want. The attention we received from the Receptionist to the salesperson (Rick Siedman) was excellent. There was little waiting and the process was pleasant and efficient. We were surprised that the car was driven approximately 150 mileswhile having a backup camera installed. We were told that the mileage was due to the camera being installed in Middletown. Since Middletown is about 25 miles away that would be 50 mies roundtrip. Morel likely the camera was installed somewhere further (?)

I have bought 5 new Toyotas from this dealership starting with a Corolla back in the 90's. I have never had a problem with any of their repair work or maintenance work.I have never broken down with any of their vehicles and not so much as even had a flat tire. I don't think there is much more you can ask of any car.

Ed Crouse was more concerned with being honest and truthful about the difference between a Lexus ES 350 and a Toyota Avalon gls. When he agreed that, for an extra $5,000, and a same year car with 13,000 more miles on it, the only difference (aside from the Lexus having smaller cabin space and air-conditioned seats)was the Lexus logo. Rather than push the Lexus on us, he was pleased to sell the Avalon, admitting all drivetrain components and engine were built on the exact same platform. Mike handled a minor exhaust adjustment (cosmetic), and replaced a brake light within minutes of me driving into the service bay. I expect to use Hoffman for the service on the Avalon, and am impressed with their ability to email me when oil change, standard checks, etc...are to be performed. Had my 1997 Avalon with 161,000 miles not been damaged to a point of "not worth repairing", getting a used one with 22k miles made perfect sense. I'd recommend Hoffman Toyota, and Eddie/Mike to anyone looking for a fair deal on a great vehicle with great service to back it up!

I am in the process of purchasing my 4th Highlander Limited from Hoffman Toyota since 2005.Ed Crouse has been excellent at managing each sale and has made every purchase easy and enjoyable. I normally would not associate the words easy and enjoyable with a new care purchase but these guys have got it right. In spite of the supply issues due to the tragedy in Japan, Ed and Tyrell have made it clear they will find the model I want.The main reason I come back time after time is for their service. I will wait for Linda Schultz to be available as she knows her stuff and makes sure the job is done right. I trust their service as my grandchildren travel in these cars and safety is number one no exceptions.I wouldn't ordinarily write an online recommendation, but Hoffman has been consistent and I appreciate their continuity. They seem to have very little staff turnover in my book that is a good sign that the work environment is positive.

Dealer located hard-to-find desired vehicle(Toyota convertible-discontinued model) and went out of way to provide desired interior (reupholstered seats with bone leather) and also repaired slightly damaged bumper-provided loaner while my car was being repaired and cleaned up. Very responsive to all my questions and concerns and fully explained operation of purchased vehicle. Before purchase, made car available for test drive-allowed us to keep it over night. Did not pressure us into purchase-very pleasant to work with.

I can give nothing but a glowing report on the quality of service I recently received at this dealership and from this dealer. After terrible experiences with other dealers, both Toyota and others, we were exceedingly pleased at the level of courtesy and service at Hoffman Toyota. Jesus Roche, our sales consultant, knew everything about the vehicle in which we were interested. He was tremendously cooperative and fun to work with. Anthony Bailey, the Finance Manager, was equally knowledgeable and efficient. We were so impressed with the overall servic level, as well as the product, that we purschased and drove the vehicle home the same day. We could not have asked for a better vehicle purchase experience.

Malvin swooped in and helped me locate pretty much the ideal truck for my purposes, and then dealt with my nagging for the next two days while we went through all the processes. My overall SUV purchasing experience with Hoffman Toyota was excellent. I purchased a 2011 4Runner Tail and Jesus Roche was excellent in helping me with the sale. Although I would have preferred a different body color, Jesus did a seach across the North East and the color of my preference was not available in the time frame I required. But, all other features, options, and accessories were found and Jesue ensure that they were ready in time for me.The Finance Manager, Anthony Bailey, was also very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Altogether I found EVERYONE at Hoffman Toyota to be very helpful, courteous, friendly, and always greeting with a friendly smile.

The entire Hoffman Auto Group is a very professionally run organization. I've been a customer of their Porsche store and now the Toyota store. My salesman was Jesus Roche and he was terrific. He's a very friendly, straightforward guy who made buying a new car a good experience. Tyrrell Dabrowski, the General Manager, was also helpful in making everything go smoothly, as well. Upon our first visit to look at mini vans, we were greeted by a friendly, outgoing employee who directed us to the salesperson for assistance. The salesperson, Adam, greeted us and even though we told him at that point we were just looking and gathering information he was extremely helpful, answering all our questions and providing us the information we required. When the decision to purchase was made Adam was again extremely helpful in putting everything in place for this purchase.

I have purchased 4 Toyota vehicles from George over the past 15 years, 1994 4x4 Pick-up (pre-Tacoma), 2004 Camry, 2005 Highlander and 2007 Prius. George is very knowledgeable and conscientious, keeping our needs in mind at all times. He is always upfront and fair with the pricing and very loyal to his customers. I would recommend buying a car from Hoffman and George Corsa to my friends, family and coworkers.

Rick was very helpful in helping me pick a car. I went in with a variety of choices and in the end I got the car that I know I was meant to have. The only downside of the experience was the distance from my house. However the Hoffman Autogroup Website is amazing. It is the easiest and most user friendly site I found and why I focused my seach on what was available via Hoffman.

Both Rick and Fran went out of their way to explain to me all the essential workings of the controls since I am hearing impaired. Rick took his time to write down everything and even put paper clips in the pages when he explained the controls. Fran spent the necessary time to explain all the warranty information that I had questions about. I would do it again with these two.

Ed Crouse answered all me questions, and was very knowledgeable about all the Toyotas in his showroom. I really enjoyed my car buying experiance with Hoffman Toyota, specificly with Ed Crouse. Ed took the time to know exactly what we wanted in a car therefore ensuring that we would get the car we wanted to buy. He answered all of our questions, if he didn't know he found out immidiately from someone who did. Everyone at Hoffman was polite and helpful from financing to the service department. Based on this experiance we went back to Hoffman Toyota again to buy another car.

My overall experience was good however a few things were not fun. I wanted my accessories to be transferred to new truck and they said no problem. However after the sale was made it was a week later and my subwoofer, remote starter, Sirius antenna and bluetooth were still in my old truck on the lot. I also changed my mind on the extended warranty and that took weeks to get refunded. Still not quite sure if I have been yet. Besides that Adam C. Made transaction go as smooth as he had control over.

I had a great experience shopping at Hoffman Toyota. Both Jose and Danny were very friendly and helpful. Jose was very thorough in showing me the features inside the car. I would definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends it was an overall great experience.

The whole experience with Hoffman Toyota was excellent from start with John Oulundsen to the service departments,Polite, professional and expert service and to my toyota small truck, thank you Hoffmans, YOUR THE BEST!!!!The entire staff has always given me the excellent sevice I expect, and rarely ever fall short from that, a that is why I continnue to go back and also refer other friend and family to Hoffmans dealeership.

My husband and I made the decision recently to buy a Toyota Prius, so off we went to Hoffman Toyota this afternoon. We can honestly say our experience was very positive, and resulted in the purchase of a 2007 in lovely condition. The staff at Hoffman is terrific, and our salesperson, Malvin helped us make the transaction smooth and painless, which is not always the case with car buying. Very low key, friendly approach to the process. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. The physical plant is clean and spacious. The car was delivered quickly and in great condition. I was buying from out of state so special services that were required for my particular situation were provided without hassle.

Having purchased multiple cars, going to Hoffman Toyota and dealing with Ed Crouse and Theresa Dragon was an exceptional experience. I have purchased five cars from the dealership at this point and have felt that each purchase was handled very professionally. Knowledgeable people with excellent communication skills, fair pricing and straight forward sales process have added up to my rating of excellence. Service and body work have also been fairly and expeditiously handled. It's the whole package for purchasing and maintaining great vehicles.

Brenda Sostre was extremely professional, very detailed in explaining what was being done. called to let me know when my car was ready. Car was cleaned when I picked my car up, something STEPHEN'S AUTO MALL never did, and they always had attitudes. I would recommend Hoffman to anyone interested in having service done on their car, and ask for Brenda Sostre. She was FABULOUS!!!!

Buying my new Toyota Camrey XL was a very pleasent experience with no glitches. The process went very smoothly from a demonstration test drive to my trade in of my 2005 Camrey XLE. All options were discussed with me before my purchase. I declined all optional maintenane options and took the Simonize package.

Kia (sales person) was very knowledgable and helpful. Not pushy or overly aggressive. Explained all the cars features and what sets Toyota apart. Customer service is open all day Saturday. I had researched the vehicle and knew exactly what I wanted to pay, and the dealer met my price.

I initially found the car I was looking for on the web. The dealership was across the state. I spoke about the purchasing a new car and trading my old car on the phone.I hate haggling with dealers. Basically he knew I would be driving far and just gave me a great deal without having to play games and waste my time. Chris Delphi gave me a good deal on both ends. When I got to the dealership I found he was a man of his word. I was next helped by Jesus, then Anthony in finance. Both were very knowledgeable and plesant. It was worth a trip across the state for my great price and great customer service.

The service dept at Hoffman is excellent. They are always on time and have never kept me waiting. When they tell me it will take 1 hour for the service to be performed, they usually have it done in less time. I really like the way they check you in for service, from pulling my car into the heated garage check in station, to the service rep coming out to meet me and bring me into his office to make sure we are clear on what service is to be performed. All the service personnel are very knowledgeable and friendly and ready to answer any question I have in a professional and courteous manner.

I am very impressed with the staff (service management and technicians). Professional, efficient and friendly. They put the word "service" back in the meaning of automobile service. My wife and I both own Toyota-made autos and working with such people makes us want to continue to be Tpyota owners for a long time. Thanks for an awesome experience and a job well done!

I had a very positive experience with Hoffman Toyota. Hoffman's inventory of used cars (in my case Priuses) was better than what I found in other dealerships in Massachusetts where I live. So it was worth it for me to travel all the way to Avon from western Mass. Second, as soon as I set up an appointment online, I was given the name of a specific sales rep with whom I would interact. I liked having a specific "go to" person who I looked for when I arrived at the dealership. Third and importantly, both the cars I was interested in test driving were waiting for me in front which speeded up my selection process. Finally, Hoffman handled all paperwork and legwork involving the transfer of licence plates from my old car to new car, registration, etc. Having someone else handle that made my life a lot easier!

I have purchased my last 4 vehicles from Hoffman. The experience is always been positive. I find everyone friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. I always feel their goal is that I am completely satisfied with the experience. I have and will continue to recommend the dealership to family and friends. I feel their slogan,"Driven by Trust" is what they base their dealership on. It is a shame other dealerships dont follow their lead. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. Ed really made purchasing a new car a stress free and almost fun. He was very easy to work with and I felt no pressure to make any decision. He was very energetic and lively and put me to ease about something that I would normally be rather nervous about. I would most definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in purchasing a car.

I would recommed Hoffman Toyota of Simsbury because when I bought my Toyota Sequoia the sales person that helped me was of great service. I thought they were ALL honest and up front with me. I didn't feel pressured or rushed when purchasing my Sequoia. Thanks Hoffman Toyota!!!!

My experience at Hoffman Toyota was great. The saleperson Jose Rivera helped me get out of a lease and purchase a used 2006 Toyota highlander. I originally was interesting in purchasing a 4runner and thanks to Jose's expertise the higlander was a better choice due to warranty, price and worth of vehicle. Never did I feel pressured during the purchase, all the staff was friendly. I walked out that day with a new, bigger and affordable vehicle. As a mom of 4 I have no time to waste and my time was definitely not wasted. I will be going back to Hoffman Toyota for another vehicle for my growing family.

I have purchased 3 vehiles from Hoffman Toyota in Avon Connecticut over the last several years.I wouldn't Buy a vehile from any where else.When I purchased my vehile's from Them I found that the Saleman And the Manager were very knowlegable about there pruduct.I've purchased alot of car's in my lifetime but have never known any other dealer who knew their pruduct the way Hoffman employee's did. I've also had Hoffman servise my vehiles and they are the best service poeple i've ever dealt with.On top of that toyota is the olny vehiles I will buy because of their quility and service.I have found that they always listen to their customers needs and concerns and are very patience and courtieous.I always refer my friends and family to buy their Car's from Hoffman Toyota. I have been purchasing vehicles from Hoffman Toyota since 1991. My latest purchase, a 2010 Sequoia, back in May has been the best yet. Ed is always eager to help and he made the delivery of my vehicle an enjoyable experience. My times in service have been equally as impressive. The entire staff at Hoffman Toyota has always been extremely helpful and sincere. In my opinion, my car buying experience really is "driven by trust". I love my truck.

Ed was very good to work with. He listened to my needs and found the perfect car at a very good price for me. He was very professional and worked out a payment plan that fit my budget. Also, when I came to pick up my car he went through all the workings of the car's drivers panel and where the jack equipment was located. Almost 2 years since I have had the car and if I have questions or problems I can still call Ed and he has been extremely helpful.

Purchased a Certified Used 2003 Toyota Highlander from Anthony Martinez with 63K for $13,600 plus tax. Was given the opportunity to purchase the 7yr/100,000 mile warranty for an extra $20 per month.....sounded like a great deal.A week later I receive paperwork from Toyota Financial Services stating I have purchased (3) warranties totaling $4695.00 which all expire on June 27,2010. This Highlander was purchased on Dec. 27,2008.If only Mr. Martinez had the honesty and morality to tell my wife and I that we were spending exactly $4695 for warranties which expire in 37,000 miles or June 27,2010 whichever comes 1st my answer would have been "NOT INTERESTED"We are talking of a $13,600 vehicle and the STEALSMAN Mr. Martinez decides to add $4695 to the total cost without sharing the bottom line. QUITE A MAN taking advantage of a family of four including 2 small children.AM I LIVID YET?? NOT REALLYLet me backtrack to the Saturday I 1st pick up this CERTIFIED USED HIGHLANDER. They call it CERTIFIED because it undergoes a complex 200 some-odd point inspection program which makes the vehicle "CERTIFIED"Car is said to be ready for pickup.......NO ANTENNA....BROKEN BACK SEAT...BRAKE PADS GRINDING ON LEFT FRONT TIRE.An appointment was made for repairs with Mr. Martinez by my side.Receive my Temporary Registration which states MY NAME.....MY WIFES DATE OF BIRTH ...and "F" for female. Too bad I am a 53 year old male.I call Hoffmans and speak to Mr. Martinez who tells me its Motor Vehicles Fault.......I call Motor Vehicle being put on hold for 1/2hr so I can speak to a live person. Motor Vehicle tells me that Hoffman Toyota OF Simsbury actually keyed in the wrong numbers...Who do you believe Mr. Martinez Of Hoffman Toyota Of Simsbury or Motor Vehicle Of Connecticut Which Holds EVERY Record Possible Pertaining To My Vehicles And Plates? I again relay the information to Mr. Martinez and he states there is nothing I can do "my girl" says its Motor Vehicles problem.Off we go to file a real complaint!!!If you have money to burn and enjoy being swindled,lied to and even talk to a General Manager named Tyrell Dombrowski who agrees whole heartedly with Mr. Martinez's antics then this is the place for you.If you are the Dad of young children who would rather put food in the mouths of your kids instead of the dealers then STAY AWAY FROM HOFFMAN TOYOTA OF SIMSBURY!!!!Contacted Troy Dietrich At Greenfield Mass Toyota And Was Given A Quote Of $805 For The Same EXACT 7yr/100,000k warranty expiring on June 27 2010. SO MUCH FOR THE STRAIGHT FORWARDNESS OF HOFFMAN TOYOTA!!!I will give credit where it is due and thank salesperson Jesus Roche for being helpful and gracious and above all a true gentleman.I also thank Hoffman Toyota Of Simsbury for the (2) Hoffman License Plate Covers Which Now Say "DON"T BUY AT HOFFMANS". I'm more then happy to help you advertise.A little decency, a little honesty and treating people as you would like to be treated would have alleviated all of this. i was interested in purchasing a used Matrix. I called ahead and they had one in stock. When I asked if it was Toyota certified, they basically told me that it wasn't, but that if I purchased the car they could do the certification inspection for me for $500. I went to look at the car the same day, about 2 hours after talking on the phone with them. When I got there, they told me they had already done the certification for me - if the certification program really is what Toyota says it is, there is no way they could have done it in that little time. When I drove the car, one of the windshield wipers didn't work at all, the oil was dirty, and a piece of the molding on the bottom of the car was hanging off. Not only was the car poorly maintained but they were going to charge me an additional $500 for a car that wasn't even inspected!
