Excellent customer focused experience. It is always difficult buying a car these days when you have a career and family. I came into the dealership after work toward the end of the day last week ready to buy a car after doing some extensive research over the last few months with my family. The dealership was slow and it was toward the end of the day when most sales people would be counting the hours to quitting time. Instead, Larry promptly met me at the door and we began going over options and kicking the tires of a few 4 runners on the lot and test driving one, all in a very professional business like manner which I truly appreciated. The following day, Larry met with my wife to go over the 4 runners on the lot and options. In the end, we ended up getting the car that fit our needs by working directly with Larry and the sales people. Both I, my wife, and my family are very, very happy. I would recommend Larry without reservation to any professional, contractor, or company who needs to look at purchasing, leasing, or managing a fleet of vehicles. He will take the time to listen, and work to meet your needs, and think out side of the box all in a truly genuine and gentle manner.

My recent experience with Janetta Garcia and with Zachary Hoffman was excellent. Both Janetta and Zachary were professional, well-informed, and personable. I recently purchased a Certified Preowned Toyota 4Runner from Hoffman Toyota. I drove from Albany, NY because they had the vehicle I believed I was looking for. I was not disappointed. The 2012 was everything I had hoped for and more. From the initial call to the moment I left, I experienced top notch service. I can't say enough about Jeannetta Garcia. She went above and beyond making sure that I was completely satisfied. I wasn't rushed, coerced or strong armed in any way. She has followed up with me a couple of times to make sure everything was going well and that if I needed anything to let her know. She ordered and sent touch up paint that I requested and recently ordered an Owner's Manual for me. She has been a true professional and Hoffmans should consider how lucky they are to have her. I am the type of individual who would rather go to the dentist than deal with car salesmen. Hence, my reluctance to return my leased vehicle which had exceeded its mileage allotment. I had no choice, I brought my vehicle in and was immediately assigned to Jose Espinosa the General Sales Manager. My immediate reaction was, "oh no here we go they've assigned me to one of the big guys, what numbers and nonsense is he going to feed me?" Before I could grasp what happened, I was out of my old lease and in a new vehicle without my wallet even suffering any damage. I am still in shock! The whole experience was painless! Jose was professional, courteous and all around a genuinely great guy to deal with. The whole vibe of the dealership was different. It was as though the stress and anxiety were given the boot! Thank you Jose and Hoffman Toyota for dispelling the myth on car dealerships. Keep up the good work and letting customers know and feel valued!

Ednei Lima was eager to meet as soon as I pulled up. Told him what I wanted and he hooked me up with a great deal on a 2015 Toyota Corolla with 7000 miles. Process took 3 hours, including all paperwork and test drive. I would recommend them.

I trust him to tell me which repairs/services are needed right away, and which can wait until my next scheduled service. I have worked with him since September 2011. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, explaining things to me in a way that is easy to understand. He always returns my phone calls in a timely manner and keeps me updated while my van is being serviced - whether I'm waiting in the very comfortable lounge or if I'm waiting at home. I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma from Hoffman. I visited several dealerships, several which were closer to my home. Although I really have no complaints about the other dealers, Hoffman stood out as the best one. All of my interactions with all of the employees were exceptional. It started with Heather in the internet sales department. She helped me obtain a low price based on the options I wanted, which encouraged me to come in. Zach Hoffman, sales manager, provided me with a straightforward and upfront negotiation that was extremely quick and left me feeling 100 percent confident that I got the best deal possible. I walked into the dealership, having done my research, and I was prepared for war. I was pleasantly surprised to be in and out of the dealership within about 45 minutes. During that time I test drove a Tacoma, negotiated a price and received a quote on my trade. I walked away paying the price I wanted and they even ordered me the vehicle since no dealer had the options or colors I wanted in stock. My salesman, Larry, provided exceptional accessibility and quick answers to my questions while I waited for the vehicle. He was available by text, email and phone, which I really appreciated. The follow up support (regarding mats that had to be ordered) was daily by Larry. A manager, Jim, gave me frequent production and tracking updates. Even the financing experience was pleasant. Mike walked me through my options and didnt pressure me into additional services, even though I chose to buy the extended warranty. This was my first new car vehicle purchase and I was very hesitant to trust anyone in the car buying process. However, I was very pleased with every aspect of my car buying experience. I have purchased used cars from Volkswagen, Infiniti and Acura. However, this is was the smoothest transaction Ive had. This is the kind of dealer that I would send my parents to and be confident that they would be well taken care of. I will send my friends and family to visit this dealership.

When my Fore Runner needed bodywork the guys managed to arrange to have my brakes done during the same period that my car was tied up. My recent purchase went smoothly because of Larry. This is a long overdue review of our good experiences with Hoffman Sales and Service. We purchased our used 2006 Avalon from Hoffman in 2009. The car had a serious problem within 6 weeks or so (oil hose split causing major engine damage). The repairs were covered under the original Toyota warranty. Hoffman's people did a good job getting things back to normal - 1st by giving me a nice Camry to use while my Avalon was repaired. Josh Lukasik was the Hoffman mechanic who did a great job tearing down the engine and completely rebuilding it. He has continued to work on the car over the last several years whenever I needed service. Note: recently, the car had some gaskets leaking, so again, Josh had to tear down most of the engine and rebuild it. It's doing fine now. Hoffman also has excellent service advisors - especially Mike Fuhr and Keith Lundy. They are both very professional and courteous; they know Toyotas; are thorough with computing and paperwork; they are good communicators and are good listeners. I recently told the Service Manager that Hoffman obviously hires good people as service advisors and trains them well. Finally, the Service Facility is first class. The 6-bay entrance area is large, bright and very clean. The customer waiting area is nice and the availability of loaner cars (or rides back home) is appreciated.

We just leased a 2015 Sequoia last weekend and the process could not have been more pleasurable due to Jeannette! When I first walked into the dealership over a month ago, I met Jeannette and she was so pleasant and welcoming! Over the course of the next several weeks we test drove several different vehicles and Jeannette was so patient with us throughout this process. It is a rare day when one can be so complimentary towards an auto dealer. Hoffman Toyota and the entire Hoffman chain is a rare find. This is the third Toyota I have leased from Hoffman. As a single mom, one can imagine the stress and emotions that this undertaking COULD cause. Thankfully, Hoffman is truly trustworthy. Jose Rivera (aka "Rabbit") really listens and tries to help you out. I think he's called Rabbit because he has boundless energy and really seems to love what he does. There is no heavy hand and no "let me check with my manager and I'll be right back." I love my new 2015 Toyota Rav 4. Thank You , Thank You Mr. Rivera, General Manager Mr. Espinosa and the entire Hoffman team.

Scheduled routine 35,000 mile service online, and 1) Was told they didn't have my paperwork when I arrived. Since this has occurred before, I showed the rep the print-out from their own reservation system....Turns out, this seems to be a known problem... Note to Hoffman: FIX it, or simply proactively print out the daily schedule rather than waste my time. 2)Discussed intermittent leak from oil filter which they had previously installed. Emphasized that the new filter be properly seated/installed. 1 1/2 hours later found out they had not done an oil change, 'its not part of the service'. REALLY? After questioning, rep left and returned to say OOPS, oil change IS supposed to be done. ... Note: Do what you are supposed to do WELL the first time and stop pushing other stuff. Meantime, annoyed customer waits.... 3) 2 hours into it... I'm directed to a window to sign paperwork and was informed my next service has been scheduled for 6 months from today, not, "May I set up your next appointment?" Note to Hoffman: I do not want you deciding when and where I will be 6 months from now. Nor is there any reason to believe I'll be at 40,000 miles in 182 days.. This is arrogance disguised as service efficiency and wastes my time cancelling and rescheduling. 4) Adding insult to injury, today they called to check if we'd brought in the vehicle for the service! They had no record of it! Really? What happens when we have an issue and they claim we did not do all the required service??? We made the mistake of buying an extended service contract from Hoffman, or I would not be taking the Toyota back to them in future.

My Wife and I had been searching for a used SUV for a few weeks and found Hoffman Toyota had the lowest prices around, plus a very good selection of the RAV4 we were looking for. Salesman, Ed knew all there was to know about the car and was very pleasant to deal with, as was George and all the staff we worked with to finalize the purchase, complete with a bumper to bumper warranty for piece of mind. We had a minor problem with a heater fan which Toyota fixed at no cost and gave the car a nice wash too. Yesterday I bought my 5th Vechicle vehicle from Hoffman Toyota in the past 8 years. Two for me, one for my daughter and two for my sister. (Four Toyotas and a Lexus). The Hoffman experience has been nothing but Exceptional, with a warm, clean, friendly atmosphere and an efficient chain of command with the sales and customer service process. Julio Sosa was my Sales Consultant for 4 out of the five purchases and was and is a true professional in Auto Sales/Consultation. Julio listened to needs, has a true sence of compassion and is very patient. I had given Julio a specific auto I was looking for and after a year of following up with me he had a sale within three hours of his call to me. I moved to CT in need of a new car...my brand of choice is always Toyota...now my dealer of choice will always be Hoffman. I was in for a tire rotation and ended up with cabin filters needing to be changes too. I would rather be told each time then have a dealer save up repairs and the get stuck with them all at one time. I feel they have my and my cars performance at heart. I was particularly pleased with Mike Fitzgerald. He took a lot of time to explain all the necessary repairs to me... and then again when I asked my friend to call him about things I didn't understand. It was a very costly set of repairs ( almost $4000.00)... It;s a 99 Avalon with 207,000 miles ... and he kept in touch while waiting for various parts to come in. He also took it on a 15 mile drive to check it out before returning it to me. I can't really comment on the quality of repairs. I assume I'll have to wait and see how everything will work in the weeks and months ahead. But... so far, so good, and I'm really assuming that I'll be able to continue enjoying this car for some time to come. I love this car, and obviously I'm reluctant to let it go, despite it's age. Hoffman service will be a big factor in where I'll purchase the next one.

I HATE car shopping. I feel it's a sleazy, necessary evil. My joke is that I'd rather give birth any day than shop for a car. Well, Hoffman Toyota, and especially, Patrick Pantalone, changed all that for me. Price quoted for internet sale was $300 less than competitor, so I came here, only to be told by sales mgr that price was $400 above competitor, or $700 above quoted price. Mgr made slight adjustment to bring price to about competitor's price (not $300 better, as quoted on phone). Then I searched in vain the ATF dipstick, There ain't one. Toyota took it away, requiring you to come in for service so they can "scan" & find the level. I would've bought the Accord if I'd known all this. Other than that, the Camry itself seems OK.

Chris Rene, an appraiser at Hoffman Auto Body Shop in Avon, is amazing. Over the winter I hit an ice pack and cracked the housing for one of the running lights on my Highlander. When the folks at the dealership tried to attach the new part, they couldn't make it stay, and suggested I bring it up the hill to the auto body shop. The first person to look at it told me that I would need to contact my insurance company, as it would cost in excess of $500 to repair. Chris Rene heard the conversation, looked at the damage, and suggested a solution to the technician. Long story short, I was out of the auto body shop quickly, and at no cost. Thank you, Chris Rene!

The climate control system in my 2007 Camry Hybrid was not working correctly. I believe that the service people had some difficulty finding the cause of the problem, but they were very diligent in looking into it. As it turned out a mouse had made a nest in the heating vents, causing the system to not work properly. They solved the "mystery" and cleaned out the nesting materials. I was extremely happy with the service, and especially to Keith, who kept me updated on the progress and was very nice to work with.

I brought my Rav4 in for a recall service check this past Saturday at 7:30am. I was taken/processed promptly and shown to a lovely waiting area complete with TV, computers, and beverages. In less than an hour I was called to get my car which was cleaned/washed and ready to go. Not only was the recall taken care of, but they also checked out my headlights, flashers, etc. Very pleased!

I recently had an oil change performed at this location on my 2010 Corolla, and about a week after the oil change the lock nut and oil filter fell off of the car on the highway. My car leaked oil all the way to my home, at which point all the oil had leaked. The oil filter and lock nut were never fully or completley installed by my service technician. I've never been to a service faciltiy with this much negligence and dishonest work. PLEASE BEWARE OF THE SERVICE FACILTIY AT THIS LOCATION. DONT GET AN OIL CHANGE OR ANY SERVICE WORK DONE HERE.

I've had my fair share of car buying experiences - good and bad. And I will say Hoffman is top notch. I bought a new 4Runner in August. No pressure or slimy tactics from sales, price and trade in they offered were solid with minimal back and forth. Just took it in for 5K mile service and they were prompt and even washed my car. If you're looking for a car give Hoffman a shot - you'll be impressed.

Routine servicing with an unscheduled factory recall was done quicker than the estimated time! I thought I would need to schedule a separate appointment for the recall.I expected the exterior wash, but was very surprised with the cleaning of the interior floor mats which showed the effects of the recent wintery weather. I tried and found the wifi availability very convenient.

We are cash poor and couldn't afford much, and we told them so. Despite this obvious disadvantage, they crunched the numbers over and over again, BEFORE they showed us a single car, in order to find a way we could afford to buy. To our amazement, after a number of hours working with them, they not only crushed Gale Toyota's offer, but they managed to put both of us into brand new vehicles: a Camry and a Corolla (leases) with no money down deals and the first month's payment made by the dealership. We ended up driving home brand new cars for the first time in our lives.

Had a good experience at Hoffman. I was in the market for a new car and new what I wanted. Went to other dealers and did not have great experiences there. Many were high pressure sales which I did not want to put up with and drove me away. My sales-guy was great. Price was good. Financing experience was great. Also, Hoffman donates money from their sales to various foundations in the community. Good for them!

I moved to CT 3 years ago and it was very important to find a quality service center for my Toyota. After trying a couple of other dealerships in the area, I discovered Hoffman Toyota. The location is slightly farther from my home, but once I tried Hoffman, I never looked back! From my first visit to my latest one yesterday, they continue to impress me with their genuine caring and knowledgeable staff. I am treated fairly and they always go above and beyond to answer my concerns or questions about my vehicle. On my recent visit, Keith L. handled my service appointment. He was very fast, thorough and ensured all my requests were taken care of and within my budget! You just don't find that level of Customer Care very often and I want to thank Keith and Hoffman for taking care of my Toyota! : )

I brought my car in to get a number of items repaired including a oil change, rear brakes, rear sway bar bushings, transmission pan gasket, PCV valve and wheel alignment. A person by the name of Katie Arvidson was my service advisor. She was great and the service performed on my car was excellent. Katie spent the time to fully understand my problems and then made sure that everything was taken care of. She also called me to keep me up to date on what they found & costs to repair and with a updated status of my repairs. After having a very bad accident on my first day of vacation, I had my car towed to Hoffman's in East Hartford for repairs. To my dismay my 2009 Camry was considered totaled. Jim in collision was very helpful during this tough time and I wish to thank him for all his assistance. Jim asked if I had any thoughts on a new car and I told him I was interrested in another Toyota, so he contacted Hoffman Toyota in West Simsbury for me. When I arrived the car I had discussed on the phone was ready for a test drive and Julio Sosa was there to help me. He was very friendly and understanding about the difficult situation I had just found myself in. What was a lengthy process of paperwork and waiting was made enjoyable as Julio and I spent down time talking about various things. He guided me through all the paperwork and even helped me move all my belongings to my new car. He also took care of the rental car I had. Everyone at Hoffman's was so kind to me and honestly helpful during what could have been more of a nightmare. I want to say thanks to all who helped me. They showed genuine compassion for me and what had happened. Hoffman's should be proud to have such great people representing them and showing what real customer care is about. When asked about my car I always say that the people at Hoffman's really treated me well.

Also, I depend on the shuttle & had tighter than normal time constraints - they were very efficient & accomodated my schedule perfectly - I thought I would be cutting it close, but it worked out very well!

I went to buy the 2013 Toyota Corolla Le. I made an appointment over the phone with Jose Espinosa. When I went to the dealership, there were few staffs around but no one bothered to help me out. After 10 minutes of waiting time, Jose Espinosa came to me asking how he can help me. I told him what I was looking for. He said he will check on the system and come back in 2 minutes. Guess what, we waited for 15 minutes still he didn't. When I went to his office to see what he was doing he was with some other people. He didn't even bother to have someone help me out when he was busy with other. Felt completely ignored. I then asked another associate (Worrel Whyte) who was passing by me if he could help me. He seemed nice at first. He took me to show the vehicle. We came back to discuss the price. I wasn't happy with what he quoted. And he said, "YOU WASTED MY TIME. PEOPLE LIKE YOU COME HERE AND WASTE MY TIME". Worst customer service I ever experienced from Hoffman Toyota and these two people. I would never ever recommend anyone to deal with these people. Stay away.

All three times Mike was personal, explained recommendations and options thoroughly and patiently, looked for service coupons that could save me money, was honest about when the car would be ready, and did his best to make that happen. I was greeted by a friendly women and I told her my problem and that I was due at work. She got me to Katie who wrote the work order promptly and got me out the door so I could get to work. She contacted me when the leaking tire had been evaluated and had prices for a new tire so I could make a decision quickly. I was contacted when the work was done, so I could get a co-worker to drive me to the dealership. Katie had the paperwork ready and, again, I was out the door quickly. Katie has a very friendly personality and does her job efficiently. I usually service my car at a different Toyota dealership, but will consider using Hoffman's in the future.

I did notice after I went home that my car had a small one inch scratch on the door after the provided car wash, as I had made a point to check the car beforehand. Jesus Roche helped me find my perfect car. I went in thinking that i would trade my '10 4Runner in for a '10 RAV4 as i no longer need the larger car. Jesus showed me everything available and somehow managed to make it possible for me to trade to a brand new RAV4. The trade in amount they gave me seemed HUGE and i ended up paying only a tiny bit to find myself in the cutest BRAND NEW CAR! Jesus is warm, flexible, knowledgeable, and kind. Customer service is incredibly poor. Salesman did not bother to call me back and did not deliever the key and manual as was promised. The extended warranty term was incorrect, an error I only discovered after calling Toyota. When I went to retrieve the key and manual, the sales representative and the manager treated me very poorly since I was a woman. They lied to my face and I was made to wait in their showroom for two hours. Only after I raised my voice was the key given to me. I am still waiting for the manual. Management is very poor. They hide behind their salesperson and only came out after I raised my voice. Please do not ever buy car from this dealesship. I have bought many cars in the past and I've never seen a dealership as unprofessional as this one.

I have a Prius and lost my bluetooth connection which was important for my business. After visiting two AT&T stores, no one was able to solve the problem. Out of desperation, I went to Hoffman to see if they could help. Micheal Robinson/Service Advisor came out to see if he could help and spent 15-20 minutes going through all menues in my car and phone with no success. Most reps would have given up but Micheal brought me into his office and called Apples tech support and between the three of us, we were able to solve the problem! Michael went the extra mile which is seldom seen and a great reflection to the Hoffman philosophy of superior service. Much thanks Michael

Mike was excellent. He was very helpful and got my vehicle diagnosed quickly even though I did not have an appointment. Repairs were performed that day and I was able to pick up my car the following day. After I picked up my car there was a slight adjustment that needed to be taken care of and Mike saw to it that it was done right away. I really appreciate his help and would definitely consider working with him again in the future.

Felt no pressure to purchase and when it came time to make the deal, I felt that he worked to get me a good price on a car that's very much in demand. I often bring my car to be serviced by the Avon Hoffman Toyota...I must say that the staff has been exceptional; specifically Brenda Sostre. Brenda is extremely professional, quick and is always willing to go the extra mile to help you; clarifying and explaining what needs to be resolve. My experience with the other service people has also been great - they are quick and does not waste time - you do not have to wait for them. Overall my experiences have always been exemplary.....I will continue to bring my car in to be serviced by this branch...I must say that I have not received this type of service from other the other branch that I previously visited. I love the unconventional way in which you pull up to the garage door, drive in, and are met by a service representative. After a short exchange of information, you are on your way to a comfortable waiting area complete with reading material, coffee, computers with internet, and TV. The cost estimate was provided to me prior to the start of the work. Very pleasant overall experience!
