I bought a car from them. Yes it was used with 15,000 on it. Fairly new car though. They told me when I bought the car they had fully serviced the car before I left with the car. So no needs to worry for another 7000 miles. Thankfully I don't wait that long to change my oil in my vehicles. They had changed the oil. But that's all still the same filter. And the cut a hole in the oil pan protection skid plate to get to the oil plug instead of take the six screws out to take it down to change the oil and filter properly. Not a great way to do mechanic work if you ask me. Won't have to worry about doing my service work.

Just took the worst beating I've ever had from their service department. They charged me for 3 1/2 hours to change out an EGR valve (the you tube video is 4 minutes long on how to clean/change an egr valve). At $128 an hour, they made a killing. Total bill was over $900.I've bought more than one vehicle from them over the years, but I can assure you I will never buy another, nor let them touch one that I own. I can see where their priorities are, and it's not costumer service.

Well I have found what I want and more here at Homer Skelton Ford with the help of who I consider the best salesman around . Dane Dawson is the one you want to see, he showed me a couple of the Edge Limited I was looking for. AND NOW , I have found the exact color and package I wanted. He made sure that I was completely comfortable in the whole process of buying my Edge , and at a price that I could afford. Dane Dawson is totally Awesome in my opinion ! Came in to see my cousin Mark Hogan. We picked out a truck. It was the perfect one for me. After the test drive, I was sold. The buying experience was great.Of course, Mark Hogan did a great job for us(my wife also purchased a car). He brought the vehicles to us so we didn't have to walk the lot. He went above and beyond.I love the look of my F-150 Lariat. I didn't realize the moonroof went length of the cab. That was a great. I love the 4x4 feature also.Mark was able to get me as much as he could for my trade. That made the deal for me.

I went to dealership with my heart set on a Mustang. Initial impression was negative when sales associate, Leslee Cox, approached me to state that the dealership could not sell Mustangs. To my disappointment I almost left the dealership. I was then explained to that due to air bag concerns of certain year models that I could purchase a 2015-2016 model. I began my search for a model in stock at the dealership. I found a model and began to negotiate. The salesperson was inattentive and had a sense of not wanting to be selling a car. I was given to another associate, William, whom made the transaction pleasant. I purchased the vehicle based upon his demeanor and willingness to sell me a car. Then it went downhill from there once the papers were signed. I was given back to Leslee, who again did not want to be there and it was obvious. I was not given a tutorial or demonstration of the features/functions of my new car. I was literally told to read the owners manual. Then to add fuel to the fire I wasn't given a full tank of gas. When questioned about the gas he explained he filled it up but there must be something wrong with the fuel gauge. I then was told," you have a warranty so we will fix it.' Not what I wanted to hear. Seriously I just signed my name to a new car and you're telling me there may be something wrong with it! Where is customer service these days? I'm sorry if he had a bad day, but I hate to say"you're in customer service 'man!" Get a new job if you hate it that bad. Why should I as the consumer cry over what should be a great experience? Shame on this dealership if they hire people of this caliber.

At Homer Skelton I never felt rushed or pressured into buying a truck. Dane Dawson went out of his way at times to make sure that I found the truck that was right for my family and I. I would recommend asking for Dane Dawson because he seemed to always have my best interest in mind during the truck buying process. He even went out of his way days after the sale was complete to make sure that I was completely satisfied. Karen Kueh Public 2 weeks ago When both my husband and I came all the way from Little Rock to test drive the Lexus IS250, Eric told us that they had to remove the gear shift knob to avoid it from getting stolen. So we assumed that they had the knob. Then, we asked for a second key and was promised for it. Right before we were about to leave the lot, then Eric told me that they didn't have the knob and that they will order us one. I was getting irritated about it because if I would have known it before I sign the paperwork, I would have not bought the car. I went ahead and drove the car back to Little Rock thinking that I would have my knob and key sometime soon. I had to call and follow up for a whole week because no one called me about the status of my knob and key. Then, I was told that i have to bring my car back there to get the key programmed and that is very inconvenient. This is my second week with my new car, and none of this has been resolved. I trusted your customers good reviews and this has become one of the biggest disappointment. After the third week, Will who is one of the sales manager took the initiative to handle my issues. He even gave me his personal cell number and constantly check back with me to make sure I received my knob and key. Whenever I call him, he would answer my call or if not he will call me back. Now that's what I call customer service. Thanks Will.

I called and talked with the sales manager Henry. Henry had his salesman, bj, call me back and we talked about what I wanted and what I could afford. Bj hung up with me and stated working on it immediately. It wasn't long before bj called me back with the numbers I was looking for and we sat up an appointment for a test drive. It was love at first sight. Bj turned me over to Jacob in finance and he took great care of me! The rest is history! I love my new mustang from homer skelton ford!!

We bought our Ford Escape two months ago after a tedious process. We actually had to carry insurance on 2 vehicles because our financing wasn't finalized until a month after we brought car home. The car is now skipping gears so we called to make a service appointment. The car was certified pre owned and we paid extra for the largest warranty available. Imagine our surprise when we called to schedule today and we were OK informed we could be seen October 7th! No replacement vehicle; rather drive am unsafe car with your 2 small children for a month. The only reason they have so many good reviews is because they give you a $50 gift card if you write a review before you leave the showroom. Talk about intimidating?

Upon arriving Ash Ramirez, approached us with a big smile. I had A comforting feling. She listened to what we wanted and showed us what we wanted, not what she wanted us to buy. I have to say Homer Skelton carry a big name, but their customer service is terrible! If you do not purchase the car that they want you to have, they will string you along for days and weeks and still not help you purchase a car. I mean it is so sad that they treat their customers this way. Who do they think have to put up with this nonsense. I guess they think they are the only dealership that sells cars. I will not ever waste my time with them again. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life. If you want to send emails back and forth day after day, and week after week this is the place for you. I could call a few names of the people that I dealt with, but they know exactly who they are. What is the use of purchasing a car if it's not the one that you want. Tell me who does this???????????????????????????

Recently I called John Land to inquire about trading for a newer model F-150.I had plans to buy a New upscale model. I viewed several units on your lot. On the second visit, John prepared a sales proposal on one of the new Units. On my follow-up visit John suggested I consider a Certified 2015 unit with low miles. We test drove and John had a proposal prepared. On Saturday, 8/29 we met again I decided on the Certified unit and we closed the deal that afternoon.I have always been pleased with the sales and management people I have worked with and this time was similar.

We went to Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch to look at a particular truck that we saw advertised on their website. When we arrived we just wanted to look around a bit before we asked for a salesman. We didn't really like the truck we came to see but we did find another one that was just what we wanted. Then we asked one of the salesmen that was working with someone and was headed back to the office to get us someone to let us test drive the 2011 Ford we liked. It wasn't but a very few minutes before Leslee Cox was coming to meet us. We showed him the one we wanted to see and he had us wait in the showroom while he went and got the truck and brought it up to us. It is a big lot so I'm glad we didn't have to walk back down to where it was parked. When he did bring it up, he had even ran it through the car wash to clean it up and get the dust off. That made an impression on me. After driving it, I decided that this red one was the one for me. Then I thought the haggling was ready to start. Actually it really only took just a short while for us to work out a deal that we were happy with. Leslee made the experience very satisfying. I know we met Matt in the middle of our dealings and then Jacob was great in the financing area. Leslee even got our insurance transferred over to the truck and soon we were ready to drive out of there and head home. If you are looking for a new vehicle or a used one, you can't go wrong with Homer Skelton. It was great dealing with them and definitely will again in the future. Also this wasn't my first time I had bought from them but my other trades were at the lot in Millington, TN. Believe me when I say, they do have the best salesmen and others behind the scenes. Absolutely the best of all cars sales people to work with at whichever place you go.

I so glad we finally listened to the solid advice from our friends. James Johnson was our salesman and as we were over watching our kids play on the play set, he would bring the paperwork to us! First of all, I've never seen a children's play area in a deal ship, GENIUS! Second of all, usually one parent is entertaining as the other is finishing the deal. This was not the case. We were treated with a great deal of respect and he was patient when we did have to deal with our children. I will forever give them the first of my business and also recommend them to my friends and family.

My sales person (Leslee Cox) even met me at my truck door with an umbrella cause it was raining. Now I wasn't worried about the rain cause I am not made of sugar, but boy that was a nice touch. I had been shopping a new F150 for a very long time. I had purchased a 2006 F150 from Homer Skelton in 2006 and had literally driven it till the truck was finished. I loved that truck and after reviewing all others, I am definately a Ford man. I had also visited other Ford dealerships in other areas, and kept coming back to Homer. With a little help I was able to find someone that could truly help me with my dilemna...which was I need a new truck, but I don't want to spend the money! The men I worked with kept everything in perspective, down to the extended warranty. They fit me in a truck that, while it didn't have all that I wanted, it was certainly what I needed in terms of value,and of course, cost. If I had but one complaint, it would be the amount of time it took to get everything completed..therefore leaving us 0 time to go over the truck and it's features. (I left and it began to rain and I struggled figuring out the wipers) However, they did ask me to come back and they would spend as much time as needed to go over everthing. The truck also didn't have an owners manual, which I thought was rather odd. But at the end of the day, Will, Kenny, James, they were absolutely awesome! I appreciate them and really enjoy our new truck. I just hope I get the use out of it I did in my 2006! Love Ford Trucks...and will definately go back to Homer Skelton!!!!

Tried to buy the same vehicle twice. They must sell a bunch of vehicles because my offer which was 1k under sticker was almost laughed at. First visit my salesperson and the vehicle I was there to look at were not there at all. Even after I had made arrangements to meet her there to test drive. I applied for a car loan online, and I was contacted almost immediately from your company. I was given an appointment and told what documentation to have with me. I showed up and I chose the vehicle I wanted. I didn't have a down payment and my car payments are within my budget. Bobo went over and beyond to ensure that I was happy. After I was taken to the loan officer, he went over and beyond to work with me and the banks to ensure everything was handled properly. We went into Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch,MS looking for a truck. The salesman we talked to went above and beyond his job! We didn't find anything on our first visit. Our salesman BJ stayed in contact with us over many months letting us know he was still looking for the right vehicle for us. He even went all the way to Millington for us to look at a truck! We have NEVER met a salesman like BJ before. So my rating on him is beyond Excellent!! However, when we went into the managers office to sign our papers. We were offered many different options as far as warranties. We were told there was no factory warrant on our vehicle. The Vehicle I bought was a 2012 GMC Sierra EXT cab. It had a little over 42,000 miles on it at the time. The manager said that even though the truck as being sold AS IS by law they had to give a warranty for 30 days or 1,000 miles whichever came first. On our 30th day I noticed my transmission has getting harder to go into gear. I called Homer Skelton and was told to just bring my truck on up there to get looked at. After waiting over an hour, I was then told it could be another hour before anyone could talk to me. So i left my phone number to be contacted by a manager. After several hours I was called back and told they couldn't do anything to just take it up to a GMC Dealer. As i was waiting on my call-back I found GMC offers FREE warranties on my 2012 truck up to 100,000 miles. So i'm able to get my transmission looked at and fixed free of charge bc its under 100,000 miles. While Homer Skelton Informed me there was no warranty, and if i wanted a warranty I could purchase one from their dealership. this just goes to show you check up on all warranties before you by anything extra from Homer Skelton Ford.

Ok, so I can be a little dramatic sometimes...I must retract my last review and apologize for venting, I was really upset with myself for buying on an impulse. that wasn't anyone at the dealerships fault. I am a 'car guy' and I made a bad decision. I am very happy to update that I got a call from the GM of sales on Friday and I have to tell you it made my crappy week at work just disappear when I thought of the excitement of being in the car I had been mourning over letting get away and relief that my decision wasn't permanent. I appreciate everything Justin and Henry did to take care of me and I would recommend Homer Skelton to anyone. They moved Heaven and Earth to make me happy. Long story short, bought a truck i thought I liked, drove it for a few days, hate it more and more every time I look at it/drive it/put gas in it. I went from a luxury car to what is basically a work truck with the intentions of adding accessories. Everything for this ugly pig costs a fortune. Found a Mustang I loved for the same price. Dealership wouldn't let me bring it back because they were closed on Sunday and my grace period expired. What dealership closes on Sunday?? Not the dealerships fault but I will never return to them for anything again and every time I drive by I think of how much I hate this truck. Terrible experience. Now I'm stuck in something I absolutely hate until I can get out from under it. This is a bad decision that is going to haunt me for the next 2 years. Do your research and get what you really want.

After a Horrible, Crazy Wicked experience with a General Manager at Jimmy Gray Chevrolet in Southaven, I was told by one of many family members to visit your dealership, so my sweet husband wanted to check out your new trucks. We were approached nicely from 2 young salesmen who were very polite and upon not deciding on a deal, the General Manager came outside to us with our keys and apologized for the Very Bad treatment my husband had at jimmy gray and said no one should be treated like that. I was given a clean car fax with a 93 rating showing the car had never been involved in an accident. Once I got my truck home into the garage I noticed the rear bumper was not the same color as the rest of the truck. I took my truck to a body shop and was informed the truck had been painted and had several replacement parts. The frame has fresh paint and the passenger mirror has also been replaced. I called and emailed both of the sales managers and have yet to get any type of response from anyone. I feel Homer Skeleton took total advantage of me and I would definitely NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from any of the locations in the Memphis area. They only care about the sale and not the customer. I had to ask them detail the truck. They were not going to offer to clean it. i also had to ask them for fuel because I didn't think it would make it to the gas station. After waiting almost two hours he brought the truck back half cleaned with about $20 worth of gas in it.

The dealership was easy to deal with initially, I was able to select the exact vehicle I wanted and setup an appointment beforehand. My salesman Derrick was attentive and knowledgeable, provided tips to maximise my enjoyment of my new car. I would recommend anyone considering a new vehicle purchase to contact him. However, on the day of purchase a seemingly straightforward transaction still ended up taking over 3 hours, you guys have got to improve that. Considering there was no trade-in, a set price , a vehicle identified beforehand and a customer with perfect credit, this amount of time was way too much. I hate to imagine how long I'd have been there if I were trading in or considering other options.

Great dealership! This is our second vehicle from Homer Skelton in two years..........and our first ever truck. Everything went smooth and the employees even stayed past closing hours to negotiate a fair price with me. Actually, we stayed so late that the parts department was closed by the time we finalized the purchase. So, I wasn't able to get the floor mats for the truck. Drove on to the lot just to look around, as we had just left another dealership in town. Justin spotted us and point us to the used cars as we had requested. We instantly found a vehicle that had only been out on the lot that day. After discussing the price, and checking out the vehicle itself, my wife decided she wanted to take a test drive. She loved the vehicle, so Justin took us inside to discuss matters. Everyone was courteous, and our daughter was even show a place to play (to keep her busy, lol), so the grown-ups could talk. We worked everything out fairly quickly. She found what she wanted, she liked it, price was right, can't ask for much more.

Used car sales usually brings to mind a sleazy, slimy, fake salesperson that makes your skin crawl while doing their best to get you to buy the Yugo with 250,000 miles on it (249,995 on the back of a tow truck) for a price that would make Mother Teresa turn into Hannibal the Cannibal. Well, ladies and gentlemen, may I present the exact opposite. Her name is Brieanna North. We recently moved to Northern MS from California and she is what people mentally put in the same category as Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, etc. She is not supposed to exist! A friendly, informative, attentive, HONEST used car sales person? We test drove a truck that we were ready to come back and pick up the next day, but by a very fortunate turn of events, we will be coming back to purchase TWO vehicles. When we were informed that she was not in the new vehicle division and could not be our sales person, we promptly made the decision to purchase both vehicles used, rather than new. Risky? Not at all. They are certified pre-owned. They have fantastic prices and have a selection that would make the other major dealers in a several hundred mile radius jealous. Not only has Brieanna North won our loyalty for life, she has also completely and totally changed our attitude towards used vehicles. We have purchased several new and used vehicles from dealerships in CA before we came to Mississippi and this is the first time in 30 years that we have felt this way at any dealership. When we left that night, we went down the road a bit, pulled over and just looked at each other with the "did that just really happen?" looks on our faces. Miss North, you are the embodiment of the warmest "welcome home to MS" we could have ever possibly hoped for and it came from a used car sales person! If there were more people like you in the world, it truly would be "What A Wonderful World".

We purchased our 2013 Ford Edge on May 11, 2013. We not only love it, we feel like we got a great deal and had a wonderful caring salesman, Heath Lail. Heath went above and beyond to satisfy our requests to see 2 differnt models of Ford vehicles, an Explorer and Edge. I came to the dealership prepared to look at 7 specific vehicles that I found in inventory on Homer Skelton's website. Heath was patient and never once pressured my wife or I to make a decision on any particular vehicle. He happily showed all of the vehicles I pre-selected. He brought each of the vehicles to us and pointed out the features of each and gave demonstrations. We never once had to walk over the lot or ride a golf cart to view vehicles, like other dealers make you do. After looking at the vehicles from my list and test driving several of them we were not interested in any of the vehicles I pre-selected. The just didn't jump out at us with that buy me feeling. Heath asked us if he could show us a vehicle he thought would meet our expectations. When we agreed we brought it to the front lot to present it. It was exactly what we were looking for. He was correct, we loved it. It had the leather seats and all of the accessories we were looking for and within our budget. Probably could have saved ourselves a litttle time if I had not taken my list to the dealership but, after looking at everything I requested, we know for sure this vehicle has what we want. After signing the finance papers, Heath took us on a tour off the dealership and asked if I would sign Homer Skelton's Veterans Wall and thanked me for my military service. While on the tour Heath made sure our new vehicle was detailed and a Mississippi Inspection sticer was place on the widsheild as required by law. After the tour and prior to our departure with our new Ford Edge, Heath wnt over the entire Ford Sync and Ford Touch systems with us to ensure we had a basic knowledge of them and able to use them. He also ensured that we were registered and able to sign into the synmyride.com website. His assistance with the getting us registered helped us to learn more about the Ford Sync features and become proficient at using them. Service after the sale, great. Heath called us the following Tuesday to ensure we were stll happy with our purchase and to see if there was anything else he could do for us. I have bought a lot of cars over the past 45 years and I cannot remember ever having a better saleman than Heath Lail or a better dealership than Homer Skelton Ford. I must also give credit to the finance manger who completed the finace process, I wish I could remember his name so due credit could be given. While waiting on the finance manager to get our paperwork prepared a number of Homer Skelton managers stopped to introduce themselves and ask if we were being treated good. I cannot say enough good things about the entire buying experience at Homer Skelton Ford.

I have purchased (2) vehicles from Homer Skelton Ford, and have had both positive and negative experiences with this dealership. I was disappointed that a programming glitch left me without my new car for (5) days (and no loaner car), and that promised phone calls from the Service department were not returned. The salesperson who sold me my first vehicle reneged on a promise concerning my second vehicle (yes, always get it in writing). If this were the end of the story, I'd be warning you to avoid the dealership. During the purchase of my second vehicle, my new salesperson (Heath Lail) not only rescued the sale, but provided the best service-after-the-sale that I have experienced from any dealership. He faithfully follows up after my car has been serviced, to make sure that my concerns and expectations have been met. I highly recommend Heath to anyone visiting the dealership. I recently had my car in for routine maintenance, and the service personnel were prompt and friendly (in all fairness, the service techs have never been rude to me). All things considered, my opinion of this dealership has improved due to the efforts of those employees who have put forth extra effort to make up for the bad will created by others.

Was not impressed with this dealership. Sales "professional" sat in front of me and devoured 3 hot dogs,a hamburger and a plate of desert. Finance shared my financials with everyone from the salesperson to the front desk. Very unprofessional! I will not be back to this dealership. Was a waste of over half my day. Was treated poorly the entire time like i was a pawn in their game. Forced to sit here or there, while they discuss things behind my back, leaving the customer in the dark.

We had been to a dealership the previous day and was totally overwhelmed by the sales person, so much so that we just walked out. When we got to Homer Skelton Ford, right off the bat, Leslee asked what we were looking for and and what we could afford. He did not just attempt to push us into a deal. This was by far the best and smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. My salesman, Ray was amazing, he listened to what I wanted and did not try to steer me to anything that was out of my budget, like some dealerships do. He found me the perfect used car and then the finance manager, Charles took over and he also did not push the extended warranties just explained each one and let me choose one within my budget. our first "almost-purchase" with this dealership was absolutely HORRIBLE! we signed all the appropriate paperwork and left that night with a decent truck, and waited for 3weeks for our tags, only to find out that our paperwork was never actually turned in. someone put it in a drawer and forgot about it. so the banks' changed their minds about financing us and we had to start from scratch at a horrible percentage rate. we gave that truck back and i was certain we were not going back there. a couple weeks went by and we decided Mike McKinnie did such a great job helping us and we knew what happened was out of his hands and in the next person's. So we asked him to help us again, but we wanted a better deal with a better truck. he did an amazing job and pulled through for us a new truck that was cheaper than the used one! and we are very grateful for him and his patience with us. we definitely received top-notch service this 2nd time around. if only it could've been this way the first time....

I ordered a new 2013 f250 Platinum from Robbie Burrell at Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch after shopping almost every dealership within a 100 mile drive. I wanted a Platinum Edition which is new for 2013 and there was only one available in the area. That particular dealership would not sell the truck at the price I felt was fair and would not allow Homer Skelton to dealer exchange the vehicle so that I could purchase it. Almost every other dealership I checked with about this model tried to convince me to settle for something on the lot. Robbie suggested we order exactly what I wanted and walked me through the process of choosing my truck. Knowing that I wanted details, She kept me updated on where in the process of being built my truck was right up until delivery. Once my truck was ready for delivery she went through the new options and electronic features such as the new MyFord Sync system to make sure I knew how to operate my new vehicle. In short she made sure I got the exact truck I wanted at a price I thought was fair and made sure I knew how to enjoy all the features in my new truck. This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought through Robbie Burrell at Homer Skelton in the last two years and I will definitely be back for my next one!

I went in to the Homer Skelton Ford Dealership to look for a used Ford that would be good on gas mileage. I only know so much about cars, but I knew what I was looking for. A young man by the name of Seymour helped me during my visit and he was very courteous. He took the time to tell me the difference between several cars that would fit in my desired price range and still accommodated my request for great gas mileage. He was very patient, as I could not make up my mind (I didn't end up buying anything on that visit). But I would certainly return and ask for him by name because it was nice to have a dealer that was more worried about me than he was himself. That was appreciative. So if this comment gets to Seymour, I certainly want to say thank you for the help that you provided me with.

I contacted the internet sales department. I had an appointment with a salesperson I had spoke to for a couple of weeks that earned my trust. I had information faxed to that sales person from my accountant and bank for financing before I made the appointment. When I arrived at the dealership they paired me with a young sales person who had little knowledge about the cars we were driving. I felt like I was more committed than they were. I never met the internet sales person in the 8 and a half hours I was at the dealership. I drove 2 hours to do business with Homer Skelton Ford because I trusted Mr. Skelton and knew him from my hometown. When I got to the dealership, I had to wait thirty minutes for the sales person to find the keys to the first car. The car battery was dead and would not crank when we got in to go for the test drive. Then, the car did not have gas. They had to fill it up with a red gas tank. When I test drive a $30,000.00 vehicle, I expect it to crank and have gas; especially, when I have made an appointment to drive the car. Honestly, It was embarrassing. I didn't feel like that vehicle was the right fit. I asked to drive a new Mustang. They showed me the Mustang GT/CS. Its a beautiful car. But I asked the salesman specifically if it had a back up camera and he said yes. I asked him to show it to me and he said we had not backed up close enough to something for it to activate. He said it would activate when we got close to something, not to worry the California package was loaded with every option available. He also said it was equipped with a shaker pro audio system. It turns out it doesn't have either. I read about these features for several weeks before my purchase and knew both were options. Thats why I asked about both. I knew more about both than my salesman.Once we settled the negotiations, I signed the preliminary agreement to purchase the car and waited for financing. We began shopping at 12:30 and moved to financing at 5:30. The salesman went to meet with another appointment and passed us off to Austin, who was much more knowledgable about the car and made much more of an effort to show me the details of the car than our salesman. While we were waiting for financing and looking around the car I asked again to see how the back-up camera worked. I have a 7 year old and plan to have more. This was one of the most important features on my new vehicle to me. It was the first thing I told the internet sales lady, Aubry, that I wanted. He said almost word for word the same thing, "you just haven't backed up far enough to anything yet. This is the most loaded mustang you can get outside of a GT500, it has everything."At least 2 people were put into financing before us, one of which was the appointment our salesman left us for at 5:30. They left the dealership in their car before we entered financing and spent far less on it than we did. This was very offensive. However, the sales manager recognized I was getting frustrated and spoke to me, admitted that they had mistakenly put someone in front of me. I could accept that because if a person is big enough to admit a mistake to me I can over look it. So that was a positive point. Because my salesman went to meet with another client, they did not get the mats from the parts department that closed at 6. They did get them shipped to me promptly which is a positive point. During financing, I noticed that the monthly payments were more than the preliminary agreement I signed. finance manager was honest with me and showed me the agreement we signed. The sales manager made an honest mistake and put the promotional interest rate and the rebate on the form I signed with the lower payment. If it were my business, /i would have lived up to the agreement and honored the lower price. Since the dealership only came off the sticker price $750, I believe they had the room to stick to their word and adjust the price of the car or at least meet me in the middle. However, they didn't. At this point I had been at the dealership 8 hours so I gave in and bought the car at the higher payment and price. I chalked it up to an honest mistake. The finance manger was extremely professional and seemed to preform his job very well. Of everyone I dealt with at the dealership he by far stood out. We finally left shortly before nine.After the sale, I was sent several emails promising to do whatever was needed to give me "service after the sale." When I discovered the issue with the backup camera, the fact that the dealership kept my entire keychain, the fact that my dealer tag was out for almost 3 weeks before my county clerk received my bill of sale so that I could obtain tags, and that my second key did not arrive for 3 weeks instead of the week promised when I bought the car, I wrote my salesman repeatedly. He tried to pass blame about the back up camera on the second salesman he pawned me off on when I agreed to buy the car. Keep in mind that second salesman was the only one who explained the features of the car to me at all. I finally received my extra key. The clerk finally received my paperwork. I have yet to receive my remaining keys from my trade-in. I have received no answer regarding the back-up camera.I received a standard email from the general manager of the dealership asking me to fill out this survey. I have emailed him and followed up with phone calls about my experience and he has not reached me. I have left at least 3 messages and left alternate numbers.The last straw was when 3 weeks into my new car purchase the chin, or lance, on the front of my GT/CS came off driving down the highway at 55 mph and shattered to pieces on the road behind me. When it hit the ground rocks went all over the car and there was a loud scrapping noise for the seconds before it fell off. My new $42,000.00car had 1,500 miles on it when parts started falling off.I took the car to the nearest dealership, Gene Langley Ford in Humboldt, Tn and called theFord customer care center. Ford customer care told me not to worry it should be covered under my bumper to bumper warranty and if i had any problems to call them back. The dealership (Gene Langley) was great to work with and kept my appointment time. However, they said the repair would not be covered by Ford because of a scratch on the front bumper. I explained that I had only had the car 3 weeks and that I was the only one to drive the car. I told them I had no problems with the car up and until the front lance fell off in the road. I told them about the rocks flying all over the car and the scraping noise when the lance malfunctioned and fell off of the car. However, they said that Ford had denied covering the damage under the bumper to bumper warranty. I've called back to Ford customer care and was told that I would need to have the dealership appeal the denial. I was told by the dealership they are rarely granted. My wife drives a Ford. A Mustang was my dream car from the time I was a teenager. I was proud to finally be at the point in my career where I felt I could walk on to the lot and purchase what I wanted. However, my experience with Homer Skelton Ford and Ford in general with this car has ruined that and I won't purchase another car through any of their dealerships again. Ford could make this right by repairing the damage caused by the faulty lance, installing the rest of the shaker pro audio system, and installing the backup camera. If that were done, my opinion would change and I would feel like Ford stood by their word.

David met us in the parking lot and we were looking at two vehicles at the time. He was very kind and professional and allowed us to test drive both vehicles. We liked the look and the drive of the Ford Explorer but we also really liked the gas mileage on the Ford Escape. David was very patient with us and worked up numbers on both vehicles for us. He was never pushy and he did not treat us as children like other dealers do and play the back and forth dealer to dealer talk in front of us when we were trying to work out a price. If I had to buy a vehicle from anyone, I am glad that it was David.

Casey Keener was a great rep...But the first time i went there i had to wait 30 minutes before i seen anyone and they day i went up to get my truck Casey was not there so i sat and waited for another person for 30 minutes then i had a guy trying to pass me off to someone else when he found out he was doing Casey job and he was a friendly guy then when the third guy came finally helped me took me to the financial side i had to wait and tell him the whole story because the guy who was handling it was at lunch..during the process of picking the truck up i had inquired in splash shields and a bed cover was told they would get me a price at there discount and would hear from them the next day and haven't heard anything yet...So all in all not a bad deal but long drawn out..

Make no mistake, David did his job just fine. He was friendly and did what the managers wanted him to. My problem was with the way they do business. My opinion could be this way because it was my first purchase from a dealer, but I don't appreciate the way they do business. I like the car, the price was ok. I don't like how they ask me what I want and everytime I say what I want, I can't have it. But I can have something somewhat close to it, but never what I want. They say they care about military veterans and take $500 off the price. Oh wait, that's only new cars. They could only do $250 which on their eyes was such a huge favor to a veteran when it's a slap in the face when I'm sitting at the table doing business. Especially when I know they make more money off used cars so why not give the $500 off. And then asking for new tires on the car. The original tires were crap and I had to practically beg for tires and even threaten to not buy. At first they said they could only add the tires into the financing. Then after I said I wasn't buying then magically they could do it. They try to squeeze every little bit of profit instead of actually trying to give the customer not just what they want, but what they need. Like I said, David was fine. But he was only the puppet to the backroom manager. I will never to back. I will advise any military veterans not to go either. What a way to show your military support homer Skelton. Sincerely, an unhappy veteran.

Kenny and Ariel were patient and helpful. The only reason the rating was not all 5's is we did most of everything over the phone and had been getting quotes on a white focus but they also had a blue focus. And this was our fault as much as anyone because we were not as clear as we should have been before getting there. But really wanted the Blue one and not the white one. I state we kind of wanted the Blue one but would look at both. Well when we got there the blue one was sold. It was the same car just different colors. Great Price and very friendly staff.

On Saturday July 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon my wife and I arrived at Homer Skelton Ford from Jonesboro, AR. We were greeted by to young ladies behind the desk at the front door. They did not introduce themselves they just asked me if they could help me. I told them that I had been talking to Amber Stepp about the 2003 Lexus RX300. I than was told that Amber had the day off and that she would get someone else to help me. I was told to have a seat and wait. After waiting 20 minutes a young lady from the internet department shows up and says she can help. I did not get her name. She told me that the 2003 Lexus was not on the lot. She said if I made an appointment that they would of made sure it was on the lot. When I spoke with Amber on the phone she never told me the car was not on the lot or that I had to have an appointment. So this sales person said she would double check. Another 20 minutes went by and than we were greeted by Amber Stepp. When she introduced herself it was like I walked into the DMV. She had no smile and conducted herself in a way that made me feel like I was trespassing. She spoke in policy and was dry and impersonal. She told me if made an appointment I could of seen the Lexus. She said for us to wait at the front tables and help ourselves to the coffee it was free. The coffee machine had a large out of order sign easily seen from where we were standing. My wife said to me "lets just go." I told her no, and we will see what other vehicles she has that she can show us. Amber comes out 30 minutes later and shows a 2006 Toyota Highlander. We test drive the vehicle and we liked it very much. The only thing she said while we were driving the car was driving directions she would not try to get to know us and her communication was not helpful for one who is in customer service. We got back to the dealership and were told we had to wait again. Another 30 minutes went by and we were passed off to Kenneith Oatis. Kennie Oatis greeted us with a smile from ear to ear. He made me feel welcome. My wife was impressed by his manners. Right away we connected with him. Kennie put together a proposal from us and submitted it to Craig Crews. Craig told Kennie that our trade would be worth $2500. Our vehicle was a 2001 Toyota RAV4. Kelly Bluebook trade-in value on the car was over $6000 in great condition. I was told by Amber Step and Kennie that Homer Skelton would match that price. After further haggling I showed them I had a printout of the trade in value from the KBB instant quote for $4747 and Kennie said that would work. Kennie than takes this quote to Craig Crews. As I am sitting at the desk talking to my wife Craig Crews comes swiftly into the office, does not introduce himself and slams down his paperwork in my face and demands why I can't accept his offer of $2500. Immediately I take this action as a personal mental assault against me and my wife. My heart is pounding rapidly as my adrenalin is flowing. My wife senses that I am upset and reaches over and touches my leg and says its ok. I hold my tongue. I did not respond. I just sat there, shocked that this was happening. I have been in customer service for over 25 years and never experienced anything like this at all. I could tell Kennie was shocked at Craig's actions as well. Kennie told him i need more money for the trade-in. Craig Crews response was a lecture to us why he could not give me what I was asking and promised. Craig walked out and came back with an offer of $3500 for the trade. He again insulted me and try to accuse me for trashing my vehicle even when there was a clean carfax report. He took my keys to the RAV4 and said he would go look at it again. When he came back he told Kennie $3500 or no sale. It was now 2:45pm. As I walk out of the building I turned to my wife and said "WOW" I have never felt such a cold mean spirit as that man Craig Crews. I wished I could of made the sale for Kennie, I just couldn't do it. We left and went to Performance Toyota. They had a 2007 Toyota Highlander with half the miles for the same price. We traded the Rav4 for $4500. The sales team there was professional, personal, and treated us like we were a special guest. They comunicated as a team and won me over. Th free Starbucks coffee was great.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone as they are not forthright with their customers. My husband & I were interested in a vehicle we found on the internet at Homer Skelton Ford. We spoke with Kimberly in Internet Sales & with Mike McKinnie, a salesman. During our phone calls, I asked both Kimberly & Mike to personally inspect the truck & let us know what kind of condition it was in as you cannot tell a lot from internet pictures & we live 3 1/2 hours away from their dealership. They both assured me that they personally went out and inspected the truck and that it was in excellent condition. We agreed on price, made an appointment, & drove 3 1/2 hours on their word with intentions of buying the truck. When we got there, we waited in the parking lot for 15 to 20 minutes & the salesman never came out to even greet us. The truck had small dents, touched-up paint in several spots, the chrome was rubbed completely off the top of the grill guard in the front, the top of the cab was covered in scratches, the interior had stains in it, and the tires were shot. In summary, we wasted an 8-hour day and over $120 in gas. Although they were very friendly over the phone, they were very dishonest people.

I have to say Homer Skeleton Ford, Olive Branch, MS was the only dealer that would go above and beyond the limits of helping me get financed with my very first brand new car ever. I bought a 2012 Ford Fusion and they did not try to charge me outrageous fees or nothing. They were able to get me financed with Ford Motor Co., which is hard to do these days unless you have perfect credit and I did not since I went through a nasty divorce. However, I was a previous FMC customer and FMC took a chance on me and thank you HSF and FMC, you will not regret this deal. Overall, Homer Skeleton Ford Olive Branch, proved to me that they do "Whatever it takes" to help a person in a need of a car. I would recommend you go to HSF in Olive Branch and see Joey Walsh and the finance Manager Brian Chapman and the team, they will help you to the best of their abilities. I'm proof of just that. GO HOMER SKELETON FORD, OLIVE BRANCH, MS U ROCK!!!!!

I recently purchased a new f150 from Homer Skelton Ford . The price was the lowest I found and have me an appraisal without seeing my truck which was in a shop getting worked on! Did the deal and returned a week later with my trade expecting to get the run around and a lower trade in than quoted . Not the case at all ! They honored there quote and actually because of a paperwork error gave me more on the trade to offset their error ! Honesty and a good price are hard to find these days and Homer Skelton Ford has both!!!!

I was looking for an 07 Tahoe lt 4wd to replace my o5 Silverado Z-71. I checked on Homer Skelton Ford and found exactly what I was looking for ! Me and my wife had purchased a new Fusion about a year earlier and were extremely satisfied with the service. Joey Welch went out of his way to make the deal as did Rusty in financing. Rusty got our interest rate lowered from an original of 10.5 % to 5.5 % that saves us about $75 a month ! If or when I ever buy another vehicle I will definetly use Homer Skelton Ford !

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make sure I was taken care of. The only problem was having to return to the dealership twice to get all the paperwork taken care of, but I ended up with a better deal. I had been to Landers Ford and was not impressed. I would choose Homer Skelton Ford over Landers any day.

The staff was courteous and very friendly and they got me exactly what I told them I was looking for in a new vehicle. Even the sales people that were not helping me were very friendly also. The entire staff was cheerful and realing to help in any way they could. My husband will be going back to them to purchase his new Mustang when he gets ready. They have earned our business for a liftime, mainly because of the staff and also because we are die hard ford owners. My truck is the sixth Ford vehicle that we have owned, it is true that Fords are build ford tough.

I generally do not like dealing with car dealerships. You always walk away feeling like you got ripped off, or taken advantage of. So, as I walked into Homer Skelton Ford this past week, it was with dread of what was to come. Imagine my surprise when I was completely blown away by the friendly staff at this dealership. I was immediately met at the door by the Sales Manager, who's name I should remember but I am ashamed to say that I do not, and I was welcomed to the dealership. When the manager could not find a salesperson who was available at that moment, he simply took me himself to look at the vehicle that I was interested in. At no time did I feel like I was wasting his time or that he was not completely interested in helping me. When I told him that I was going to go home and think about it, he thanked me for coming in and did not pressure me in any way. The next day, I returned to buy the car. I was met by the salesman, Joseph McAlexander, who was just as nice as the manager from the night before. Mr. McAlexander was nothing but helpful and again did not pressure me in any way to buy the vehicle. When the deal was made, I was taken into the finance office where I was expecting the usual rush of papers and signing things that you are not completely sure about. Again, I was blown away by the friendly finance manager by how helpful he was. At no time did I feel rushed or did I sign a paper that I was not 100% sure about. This was by far the best experience that I have ever had at a dealership and I will not buy a vehicle anywhere else from now on. Thank You Homer Skelton Ford for taking pride in what you do, and taking care of your customers the way they should be taken care of !!!

All of the persons we came in contact with at the Dealership were very friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicle was waiting out front for our inspection as promised and there was no pressure from anyone to hurry us through the process. The pricing was right and all things considered they worked extremely hard to make sure that we were all pleased. I would not hesitate to recommend this Dealership to anyone, in fact I am going back to get my wife a car in the very near future.

Initially, I went to Wolfchase Ford, the incentatives was up to 6k, they only wanted to give me 4, 900K and did not work with me on the pricing options. My husband told me to go to Homer Skelton and in 3 hours I was driving off the lot with better results, and I was happy, in fact I will use the same sales person to purchase my daughters first car.

Overall Joey Welch did a great job in finding the vehicle that I wanted; and that showed that he cared about me as a customer. Good customer service like this goes a long way in getting repeat business and any business. The reason I bring this up is that I have been searching for a long time and have been to many FORD dealerships in the area, and none of them showed any interest in making the sale, nor did they take the time and effort to try. In essence, I would definitely purchase another vehicle from this dealership because I know with staff like Mr. Welch, you will get the best service.

I was very happy with the courteous, friendly service provided by the Homer Skelton team. I was referred there by InstaCredit, where I was put in contact with Mary. She was very pleasant to talk to regarding previous credit issues, and she made herself available for any unanswered questions that I might have had. After they had completed my financial evaluation and established a price bracket that best suit me, my business was turned over to Jesse (salesperson). In spite of the night wearing to its end, Jesse remained patient and friendly...and very helpful with realistic options. I am not sure if my future car purchase will be at a "Used" dealership, but if ever necessary, I would definitely do business again with Homer Skelton Ford.

I have purchased 2 vehicles in the past with Homer Skelton with no rigamorale and the sales men held to there promises but in this last purchase 2 months ago i haverecieved poor treatment, been lied to, made promises they did not stand bye, Ihad to go through 8 diffrent sales men because they were to busy to help me, the sales men i had was very un helpfull, never got a curtisy call at all. Over all after purxhasing the vehicle they did not want to help me oncehe buy it they are done with you. It is very obvious after purchasing 2 vehicles with this dealership in the past there customer service has gone down the toilet and i will never do buisness with them again.

I bought a new 2010 Ford F-150 at Homer Skelton Ford. Upon test drive, i found where there had been a water leak in the back seat area. The sales staff looked at it and took it straight to service dept. The leak was a gasket on the rear cab brake light. They replaced it immediately and even re-cleaned the inside of the truck. This was on a Saturday and I was very impressed with the care and service I received. The sales staff was great. The guys in the service dept. were great. This was truly a great buying experience. The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs. Also, I love my new Ford F-150. Thanks Homer Skelton Ford.

I was going to be driving from out of state (10+ hours) to purchase a vehicle that had 16,950 miles on it. We had agreed on a price and I was getting ready to put down a deposit. The internet director called me back with some answers to the last few questions that I had and it was then that he informed me that the owner's father had driven it out of state and added nearly 3000 miles to the mileage of the vehicle. The price that was agreed upon was on a vehicle with 16950 miles on it NOT a vehicle with 19361. This was not only extremely dishonest and deceitful but fraudulent. I would highly recommend that anyone thinking of doing business with this dealership think twice about doing so. They are dishonest....deceitful and fraudulent.
