This is the first and last time I would ever use Danbury Honda. They took advantage of me by selling me a coverage plan that is really expensive and promised me things that were not true. I've also had my car at the service station 3 times already for repairs on a brand new car. Run fast! Do not do business with these people

Visited this Honda dealership for the first time to have an issue with my moonroof looked at. I scheduled my appointment for 8:30am, and when I arrived, they were all set to bring my car into their service bay right away, confirmed the issue (moonroof wasn't closing completely), and said they would diagnose and gave me a specific time at which they would call me with the diagnosis and solution for the problem. To my surprise, they called exactly when they said they would, and had a solution in place. They had me back on the road the same day. My car also had a couple of outstanding recalls, which they brought to my attention and also took care of for me while it was there. In summary, I felt the service was prompt, friendly, and they delivered on their promise. I will use them again the future.

I had not owned a Honda for over ten years. But Honda if Danbury was as pleasant a place with easy to deal with people as I remembered it to be. Honda makes a great car but having a good local dealer is almost as important. Honda of Danbury remains a great dealer.

The reason for my purchase of another Honda from Honda of Danbury is due to the experience I had buying my first vehicle from them in 2009. It was a 2004 Accord and after owning it for about two weeks the odometer stopped working. Taking it back to your service department they found that wires had been chewed by some animal. Did it occur before my purchase or after? Good question. However Honda of Danbury gave me the benefit of the doubt and went ahead with the repair, at no cost to me. The customer came first. I liked that. So when I was in the market for another car who best to go to? Honda of Danbury, of course. Another good car buying experience. Angelo Gutierrez showed my wife and I the car we were interested in. He was knowledgeable and straight forward. He addressed all our concerns and made us feel comfortable in a purchase, that for us, was considerable. Im sure we will enjoy our new Honda for many years and return for another when the time comes. Everything was explained clearly and Rich ensured we knew exactly what we were signing and why. After changing battery, the car computer was not adjusted. It took more than an hour to have the battery changed! Called them to hear them say that I should schedule an appointment to have the car checked and could not say what could have happened.

The salesman was absolutely awesome Angelo I'd recommend him I bought a Honda accord the price was phenomenal they had to do a software update to the car a few day after I bought the car they came brought me a loaner car and brought my car to the dealership to do a software update to it and brought it back to me the car the dealerships more than I expected from any car dealership with the customer service is fantaictk most of all their honest which is something I never expected from any car dealership and thank to Anglo for all the help after I got the car I just can not say how happy I am with the whole experience

I can't say enough about this dealership. Angelo Gutierrez was the sales person who spent hours with us making sure we understood everything. He was genuine, knew his stuff and made the experience fun. Jay Whitlock the general manager was also wonderful. He took care of mostly everything by phone and the finance/business dept were wonderful. The receptionest was sweet and seemed happy for us. I'm 58 years old, I've bought several cars over the years. Hands down the best experience. Go there !!!

I just bought an Accord Sport from Honda of Danbury and loved every minute of it! Our sales representative, Jessicah, made the entire process easy and quick. She went absolutely above and beyond what you would expect from a dealer, to make buying my first new car a special moment! As a young female, it was great to be able to purchase a vehicle from another young female. Jessicah made sure to talk to both of us equally, rather than just the male. Went in, negotiated trade in and price of new car bundled together, confirmed figure was the final price and that here would be no last minute surprises with sales tax, destination fees, or any fees, said yes, went through 2 hours of waiting and sales pitches on an extended warranty was then told we had to fork over $1500 for sales tax. Unreal and will never go back. Walked out-lost my trust right there.

i am a customer of danbury Honda and have purchased several cars over the years and I have had them serviced all the time. I have spent a lot of money at Danbury Honda. The service is great and we have dealt with John Bierne at service is the best,. John is very honest and always keeps you up to date on your car. It was John that told us start looking for a car. We wish John could have been our salesman. Naturally we went looking at Danbury Honda first. They were great when we bought our 2003 Odyssey there. The salesman was very helpfull and treated my wife great. He made sure we knew everything about our odyssey, and he even insisted that we took it for a ride. tOur Odyssey was a demo car with low milage that one of your managers was driving. We were given a good deal. I have been having this car serviced ever since. Earlier this week I took my wife to Danbury Honda to buy a new car and our experience was not a good one. i don't know what happen to their Sales Department, but this was not Danbury Honda of the past. The sales staff were not at all helpful . We spend about 40 minutes outside by ourselves looking at the cars and finally we had to go inside to get someone help us. We did not know anything about the car we wanted and expected a salesperson to help us with that. He did not even offer to take the car out for a drive, and didn't explain all the features. He basically said this is the price, take it or leave it and there was no kind of deal offered to us. We felt just dismissed. Since we have been Honda customers since before 2003, I expected that you would take care of your long time loyal customers. Maybe you just got to big. We were very disoppointed and shocked. We are now looking elsewhere for a new car.

If you like to be abused, this is the place to go. Time and time again the service center agents consistently act as though they are the most burdened over worked people on earth. Perhaps they've had too much coffee -- they have absolutely no customer-centric skills whatsoever. They are smug and dismissive every time I go there. Guess what people, we have choices!! Do you know that their online service appointment system is a sham too? What a joke. Go online to see open slots to choose from only to require a call back from an appointment team to tell you that the online hours aren't really available. What? Why have an online option? Is this the 21st century? I will never buy a car here again either after these negative experiences and will drive 200 miles to have my car serviced if necessary. They are so busy that they don't care and that's dangerous. I work in an industry where customer-focus is the number one priority. I study work environments and in this case my experience reveals to me a systemic culture problem that allows this group of people to behave so to customers. Good luck guys!!

I recently visited Honda of Danbury, CT with the intent of purchasing a new or used car. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Don Shelden, who was very pleasant and professional. I spoke to Don in regards to the style of car I wanted, and my price range. He directed me towards the 2015 Accord Sport. We completed a walk through of the car and test drive. After two weeks of visiting other dealers, I decided to lease the 2015 Accord Sport with intent to buy after three years. I am completely satisfied with the price and service. After working with Don, I can say that the experience at Honda of Danbury was nothing but excellent. Don made the process completely stress free. There was no pressure at any time to buy or lease "today". He answered all of my many many questions in regards to the 2015 Accord, leasing vs. buying, warranties, and service. I just purchased my 5th Honda from Honda of Danbury. I am a proud Honda owner since 1993. I now live in Queens and won't buy from anyone else but these guys. They are courteous and extremely professional and don't ever force feed you things you don't want. They are very fair and honest. Something you don't find from other dealers. Tom McMullin is such a great manager and that's why he's had a long tenure there and he appointed me a very friendly salesman Luke who was very patient and explained all the new functions of the car. Braegan the Business manager was polite and honest and made the transaction smooth and easy. I'm very happy with the 2015 Honda Fit and they even located it in my favorite color: purple aka passion berry pearl. I'm addition the service and parts department are hands down the best there is. John Meyer and Bob are super sweet and accommodating as is Dave Dube, Ed Acosta, John Beirne and the rest of the Honda of Danbury clan. If I moved to California I would still come back here to buy my new car.

I was recently in the market for a used van for our growing family. After deciding I wanted to get a Honda Odyssey, I searched online for quite awhile looking for a vehicle in good condition at a great price. I typically do quite a bit of research before deciding and this was no different. When I found the van I wanted at Honda of Danbury I decided it was worth the 5 hour (each way) drive from Western NY as long as I felt comfortable after speaking with someone at the dealership before making that kind of drive.Eventually I was connected with Angelo. We were able to quickly negotiate a price over the phone and he sent me photos and videos of the car so I could make sure it was in great condition before I went out there. Angelo seemed to be pretty up front with me from the moment we talked and I felt comfortable working with him. To be honest, I don't really like working with dealerships and in the past have bought cars off of Craigslist to avoid that process, but this time I found the best deal here.Not only did I feel comfortable enough to make the 5 hour drive, but when I arrived the car was in the same condition I had been expecting. This was a huge relief to know that I had made the right decision. Angelo was courteous and on top of things and the transaction moved along very quickly and smoothly. I did encounter one small problem after I bought the vehicle. On my way home from the dealership the passenger side mirror came lose on the highway. When I got home I was able to easily pop it back into place so I thought nothing of it. However, as the weeks progressed it was a recurring problem. I had not gotten anything from the dealership other than the standard warranty covering any major engine and transmission issues. I definitely didn't want to have to make the 5 hour drive again.I called Angelo to see if he could do anything about it. He responded quickly to let me know that he would get another mirror for me from a vehicle going to auction and have it mailed out to me. He had absolutely no obligation to do this for me other than good customer service. I received the mirror and installed it myself without having to pay anything.Angelo went above and beyond in working with me to get a great car for my family and provided stellar customer service even when it wasn't necessary for him to. I would definitely recommend that you go to Honda of Danbury and work with Angelo to get your next vehicle!

I walked into the dealership ready to buy a used honda accord. I provided Don with my price range and he took me to the lot to look at them all. He was very straightforward with the price of two cars I was interested in, and understanding of my situation with military pay. He said he didn't want to waste my time and gave me the lowest possible price. After some wiggling, we were able to find a neutral ground and I was able to purchase a used 2008 honda accord. I was very happy with things went and I would suggest people to definitely ask for Don when they walk in. I do not think he works on Tuesdays.

After searching around for a newer accord, I found one at this dealership. I called immediately and told them that I was interested in the car and was willing to put a deposit over the phone. Luann was very helpful with this process as well as scheduling an appointment to come in. When I arrived I met with Jim and Chuck the finance manager. They were very polite and took their time to explain everything to me. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and had a short wait to have the car prepped for delivery. I'm excited to have my new car and would definitely recommend the staff and this dealership!

I went to the dealership on Monday, April 28 and met with Steve Vilaros...From start to finish - test driving the 2014, deciding on a color, negotiating the price, (I picked up my new Civic EX-L on Tuesday), Steve was a pure pleasure to work with...He's most knowledgeable and he answered all of my questions, to my satisfaction. This is the third Honda (1 Accord EX-L and 2 Civic EX-L) I have bought from Honda of Danbury and I would definitely recommend the dealership and Steve to anyone. When Ed Acosta heard that I was thinking about replacing my 2003 Honda Accord, he introduced me to senior sales rep Steve Vikaros. Steve knows his cars and how to relate to customers. Carolyn and I had tentatively identified the Honda CR-V LX as our likely purchase. However, after an in-depth review of features and LX test drive, we were convinced that the EX better fit our needs. I just bought my first brand new 2014 Honda Accord EX with Steve. I was nervous going in wanting a brand new car but Steve was with me every step of the way. He was so kind, caring, funny and so so so Knowledgeable! He knew everything that needed to be known about each model of the Accord.He explained everything thoroughly with me. My nerves went away and I am confident and extremely happy with my decision of purchasing the Accord. There was no pressure put on me to make an immediate decision, he gave me all the time I needed. Tony Delana was a joy to work with. He walked me through every step of the process with great communication skills, patience, and a great knowledge of his products. Even the negotiating process was pleasant. He never pressured or over-sold while explaining all of the options available for extended warranties, LoJack, etc. While the service department has kept me a loyal customer since 1992, it is people like Tony that will have me returning for my next Honda purchase in the years to come.

Today my girlfriend and I were quickly greeted by the friendly reception staff and then assisted by Tony. Tony was very knowledgeable and took the time to cover every button and feature in each of the vehicles we inquired about . When we finished looking at all the vehicles we were interested in I told Tony we wanted to shop around. Tony went over a few more advantages to choosing Honda over some of the competitors and let us leave without harassment. Later that day when we came back Tony cut his lunch short to continue to help us. At that point we were assisted by Chuck from Financing. Chuck went over all our options and answered all of our questions in detail leaving nothing to question and again not pushing any features and packages we were not interested in. Once we got the financing squared away Chuck put me back into the care of Tony to seal the deal. Earlier after test driving the vehicle I noticed some imperfections in the paint on the back of the hatch but didn't say anything. Before we drove off the lot Tony provided us with a touch up pen to correct the imperfections. Tony showed that he was paying attention and went the extra mile to address my non verbal concern as he already had the sale. With fast and friendly service and no pushiness I will be back again. Thank You Honda of Danbury for the fantastic car buying experience!

Luis was extremely helpful, and considerate. He listened to our requirements and concerns and respected them throughout this experience. He understood that we had a budget and did everything he could possibly do to help us find a car that we liked and at the same time fit within our budget. Luis never rushed the sale, he allowed us to be comfortable in all aspects before we made our final decision. On the day of our purchase we were not able to come in until about 7:00 PM. Luis stayed after hours to make sure that we had an understanding of the cars features, which we appreciated.This is my 4th Honda, the 3 previous cars were purchased from Curtiss - Ryan. I visited Curtiss - Ryan & Schaller before coming to Danbury, and was much happier with the treatment and overall experience as a result of the efforts of Luis Lessa. This is our first Honda and the buying experience with Steven Vikaros and Honda of Danbury was easy. Steve was professional and attentive without being overbearing like some dealerships encourage. We weren't sure whether we wanted to buy or lease, but Steve was thorough and patient in presenting both options. We leased a nice CR-V, good price, and Steve even programmed my phone to the Bluetooth before we left the lot!

Every car dealership experience I have had in the past has been negative. When my husband said we had to go and lease another car I dreaded it. We have had several Accords and have been very happy. We are new to CT and went to Danbury Honda. The first thing I noticed was a salesperson did not come and follow you. My husband went to the desk and asked for help. I liked this since I didn't feel "hounded" like I had in every other dealership. Our salesperson Tony Delana was outstanding. He was honest and I felt he was trying to help us. I had never felt this before. Tony was very knowledgeable about the different models and took his time to explain everything to us. We were able to negotiate what we felt was a fair price for a gorgeous Honda Accord ELX. I highly recommend this dealership and I hope you are lucky enough to have Tony Delana as your salesperson. We had been looking throughout the state for a few weeks so we knew what was out there We got a great deal and worked with Mark Ramey who treated us with respect and was straight forward. Before we went to Danbury honda we went to other dealers and none of the sales people were upfront and genuine. It was nice to deal with someone who was down to earth and honest.

I would never make a car purchase from this deceptive Honda dealership in Danbury and would advise anyone and everyone else in the same manner. This past Saturday, I spoke with Luann (sales) on the phone regarding a specific make and model of a certified pre owned vehicle that was advertised online. Driving from an hour away, I wanted to ensure that the vehicle would be in stock when I arrived. I was told that the vehicle was available and a 1:00 appointment was established for that day. When I arrived at the dealership with my family after driving through a snowstorm, I was briefly greeted by Luann and told that the vehicle had been sold but that other comparable vehicles were available. Stating that I was not pleased with this response, I was turned over to several managers including Jim G.. I asked Jim to match a price on a similar vehicle. The best he could do was a vehicle that would cost $1000+ more and had an additional 10,000 more miles on it. This was no best offer; Danbury Honda could not be inconvenienced. When I went down the road to another Honda dealership in the area, I purchased a similar vehicle at a better price with 21,000 less miles on it. At the very least, why would Danbury Honda not make a courtesy call to tell a customer that the car that they were interested in had been sold? I am completely put off by this dealership that appears to be motivated only by sales.

I just leased my second Honda from Mark R. at Honda of Danbury and I couldn't be happier. The process was easy and stress-free. Everyone I dealt with from their BDC department, to the receptionist, to my sales person, and F&I were friendly, professional, and made me feel right at home. Mark listened to what I wanted and found me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. This is the kind of experience you want when buying a car. Michael Devine worked with us on a CR-V purchase. We had done our homework beforehand and knew what we wanted. Working with Michael we reached a good deal that we liked and accepted it very quickly. Michael was very respectful of what we wanted and he did not try up-sell us or anything like that. He worked with us in a very fair way on the price and our trade-in. He made it very easy and pleasant to buy the CR-V. The entire transaction was efficient and pleasant. We would definitely seek him out again and we would refer friends to him.

He was very professional and friendly at the same time. Offered me coffee both times I came in...and took time to show me all the new gadgets in my car especially showing lots of patience when I was trying to synch my phone to the bluetooth...as I am technical challenged....lolThis is the 2nd time that I have leased my CRV through this dealership and it will not be the last..I am extremely happy with everyone I come in contact with.

Chris was a great help. I returned an Accord lease and he helped me get into an Odyssey. The process took one morning and I drove my new car home that afternoon. Mike Devine is an excellent sales person as he was super friendly, efficient and did not use the hard sales approach on us. He was able to get me exactly what I wanted and at the price I needed it to be at (including our trade in amount). Even after we had closed out the deal, he spent an hour with showing us all the new electronic equipment and helped us setup our smart phones to use in our Honda Pilot. He personally hand buffed out our car to get rid of any dust or small spots before we left with our new vehicle. He followed up with us multiple times after the sale to answer any questions and make sure everything was okay and even personally put on our new license plates.I am a very critical person and cannot find one thing to complain about buying a new vehicle through Mike (can definitely complain about other Honda dealerships that I spoke with and other sales people that I dealt with). I am not one to take time out to write something like this; however, I felt it necessary to take the time to recommend Honda of Danbury and to let you know that you must call and ask for Mike Devine as he will definitely take excellent care of you!!!!

I have found a used "non-Honda" car at this dealer over the Internet. I have sent the dealer a message trough the web page and expected being contacted in a day or two or never. Within one hour my phone rang and I was talking to a very nice lady, who sadly informed me that the car has been already sold that day. However, she continued, they had plenty of other cars (Hondas) at the dealership and maybe I could get one of those. So I continued chatting with her to explain that this used car was exactly what I wanted (European make, AWD, manual, low mileage, among other thing) and that this is the car I need to buy. She understood. Fast forward one week. While sitting at the meeting, my phone vibrates. After leaving the room, I am able to pick up. And there is a lady introducing herself as being from Honda of Danbury and informing me that the original customer did not pick up that one used car I would buy and if I am still interested. I was, we drove up there and bought the car. Our sales representative John Francisco was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the car - and still is - as the registration process and retrieval of few minor yet important additions from the previous owner is still ongoing. I have nothing than high praise for this dealership. I'd wish they sell the brand we are buying!

I entered into my 3rd Honda Accord lease with Honda of Danbury on October 10, 2013. I was very pleased to have Steve Vikaros as my sales consultant. He was also the salesman who helped me with my first lease. Steve was extremely helpful -- knows the products so well and is so very patient .He explained all the new features in detail (there are many!!). He has been very helpful and goes the extra mile to assit with your needs and to answer your questions. He does his best in finding the greatest cost for you. He has helped myself and my brother in leasing new cars. He is a stright up no BS kinda guy and came recommended by another sales associate to work with. 18 months ago I leased a Honda Ridgeline from John Landry of Honda of Danbury. 2 weeks ago I was with Ed Acosta who was arranging my regular 10,000 mile service for my Ridgeline. During the check-in we discussed my dilemma - I was laid off and I could no longer afford the Ridegeline's lease payment nor the high running costs. Ed introduced me to Steve Vikaros who analyzed the numbers and then made me an offer to turn in the Ridgeline and replace it with an Accord................The cost saving advantage to me are significant: a reduced monthly lease commitment and far more attractive running costs. Dealing with Honda of Danbury is always an all round satisfying experience.

I was searching for a bigger car for our growing family and the Honda Pilot was on our list. Michael Devine was my salesperson and he was patient, informative and took me on a test drive. I called back a few days later to say we were going with the Pilot and Michael helped me get the ball rolling without having to drive back to Danbury. My new car was ready to go when I came to get it, and Mike spend lots of time answering my questions about the new vehicle. My experience is what every customer should have. In fact I did not feel like I was just a customer. From my first conversation to my last I felt comfortable and respected. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Mike Devine has taken care of me before, coming back and working with him again is the best customer service I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Danbury Honda to everyone I know. My husband and I have followed Brian Beanland for many years, he has always made us feel like family and we would never go anywhere else. I love the V6 Accord that I bought from this dealership several years ago and have been dutifully bringing the car in for scheduled service since. The staff in the service department by and large are very helpful and courteous. I want to mention specifically David Dube, whom I've dealt with from time to time from day 1. He's always courteous and professional, and brings a can-do, problem-solving attitude to everything that I bring his attention to. He doesn't have a gatekeeper's mindset and instead just tries to tackle whatever problems or concerns that I raise, which I appreciate.

I was actually sent to this dealership by a relative who purchased a vehicle there last year. Am I glad that I went there. I looked up Jim Gallagher , who I thought was the finance guy , but found out that he was the sales manager. It turned out to be my lucky day. Not only did he point me in the right direction for my purchase , he also assured me that financing wouldn't be an issue . He gave me a deal I couldn't refuse . I have since been back for servicing and Jim came over to make sure all was well with my new car and family-he even remembered my kids' names ! Who can do that ?! All in all , everything at this dealership is top - notch. I do recommend them and Jim . Bravo Honda of Danbury.

The showroom is very nicely laid out and casual. Steve was very friendly and helpful. There was no pressure at all. The quoting process was very quick, unlike most other dealers that make you wait for hours. The dealer was very interested in working with us to get to a payment we needed to support our budget. I am shocked this dealership is rated so highly. I cannot stress this enough. Any other Honda dealer in the area will sell for less than Danbury Honda. If you are buying from Danbury, then you are throwing away many hundreds to a $1000. Other Honda dealerships in the area will beat them, pretty easily. My salesperson "came down to a few hundred over invoice pricing", which is ridiculous if you do your homework. Even now, they send me "end of year clearance specials" emails boasting about "invoice pricing with this email only" as if it were some kind of clearance price. Well I bought my Accord from the closest Honda dealer besides them for about $1000 less than they wanted to give me as their best deal. This was not a question of negotiation. They simply were not interested in selling a car under invoice.I have dropped my review a notch in a couple of places, due to receiving a canned automated "call us to discuss your situation email" after submitting my initial review. Not to mention this sites practice of delaying posting this review for two weeks in order for the dealership to try to convince me to increase my rating! This shows that dealer rater is EXTREMELY protective of the dealers! I note that positive reviews appear almost immediately. So because my view is negative it get delayed? Incredible!

I was looking for a good commuter car and I've always have heard good things about Honda's. I didn't want to buy a new car but wanted something that would be fun to drive and reliable. i worked with Mike Devine on what would be a good choice. We went over several options and I decided on a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe. Mike answered all of my questions and we talked about my concerns in terms of a good commuter car, mileage, gas mileage, reliability, value, etc. After spending time with Mike I knew exactly what I wanted and felt great about my decision. I wanted to let it be known that Mike is an honest and easy going guy. I didn't feel pressured in any way to go in a certain direction about my purchase. We simply laid out what my goals were and came up with the perfect car. I would highly recommend Honda of Danbury and if you get the chance to work with Mike Devine do so! He is by far the best car salesman I have worked with to date.

I have been "shopping around" for a new Honda CRV to replace my 2004, 220,000 mile CRV, (which I have been extremely happy with.) I've visited or contacted a few dealerships in my area and ended up purchasing my car from Honda of Danbury. Sales professional, Mike Devine, was the epitome of a customer oriented representative. I had a couple of complicating factors involved in my purchase, which Mike listened to and addressed. Mike orchestrated every aspect of my purchase, so I only had to deal with one "point person." His friendliness, empathy and non-judgmental attitude were key in my desire to deal with him as my sales person. Mike was informative, supportive and genuinely concerned with providing me with the car I was looking for. He made himself available, even via cellular should he not be at his desk, during the entire process. Following my purchase, he both oriented me to the new car and again offered any assistance he could provide, should I have any follow-up questions/concerns. Mike physically showed me how to program common computer applications, (would have taken me forever to do on my own,) and both reinforced and made sure I was comfortable before I left the dealership. I truly feel the time, efforts and customer care put forth by Mike demonstrate what a great asset he is to his dealership and also are the main reasons I will both continue to deal with Honda of Danbury for my service needs and recommend Mike/his dealership to anyone looking to purchase a car. I gave my rating to Honda of Danbury because of the quality dealership they have. From the front desk, to our salesman John Landry, we felt right at home. They presented a comfortable atmosphere, and the level of professionalism was very high. John Landry took care of our every need, right down to driving to my house to pick up the car that we traded in. I would not go anywhere else to get my car.

I just purchased a Honda Civic and the experience went very well. Josh Celestin was friendly, but not overly assertive. He was able to answer all of my questions and he carries himself with a confident air, especially considering he is a young new professional. Tony Delano was also good. He too, did not acr in an overly domineering manner, and projected a warm and honest attitude. He was very helpful. These 2 salesman were a large part of why I would go back to Honda again. They made it as painless and easy as they could. I really appreciated that. And, the manager also came out to say hello to me, which was an added nice touch. I went to Honda looking to trade in my Lexus SUV but wasn't quite sure if i should purchase another SUV or an Odyssey. Mike Devine and the entire team from Honda of Danbury were amazing. I came in to have my 2004 crv honda serviced, and knew I would be looking to buy in the near future. So with 3 hours to kill I thought I should check out what Honda deals were going on. My salesman Michael Divine took me for a test drive with the fit and civic, and decided to go with the civic. Michael was extremely helpful and talked me through my options. He sat with me afterward in the car and walked me through all its functions. I m not the most electronical person, however he did make it easy for me to understand. He really knows his stuff. He might be sorry he sold me a car when I start calling him for more help. He is certainly an asset to Honda, so don t ever lose him. The service department is always courteous and fair when it comes to telling me what needed to be fixed on my car. I have recently purchased a new car and found the experience hassle and stress free. I have worked with Mike on getting two new cars now and each time he has made it a great experience. My most recent visits was a trade in of my 2010 Civic and upgrade to a 2013 Civic. I wasn't totally sold on upgrading when I visited, but Mike was able to explain my choices and options thoroughly, and broke down all the financials for getting me into the new car. I very much appreciate the fact he simply provided me all the information I needed and explained the benefits of the vehicle and the deal without being pushy or forcing the deal on me. I recently went to Honda looking for a replacement vehicle and I left there with a new 2013 Honda Accord after multiple visits. I wasn't sure if I wanted a new one or a used one, but after my experience there, I was sure that I wanted a new one. The gentleman that I dealt with there, Mike Devine, was probably the single reason why I left there with a new car. He was exactly what I needed when I went in there. Very friendly, professional, understanding, attentive and most of all patient. He made himself available after hours for questions I had regarding vehicles and prices. Work was done on the rear bumper and there was a little mistake so I marked good for quality of work. But in no means was the work done poorly. I came in looking for a new Civic Si and Joe took me through all of the features of the car and for a test drive. He was able to facilitate for me to trade my old car in and I received a very fair price for it, which I was very happy about. This is the second car my family has bought from Joe Pagano and we will be back to him for our next car. He really went the extra mile, even keeping my car inside the service bay the day I was coming to pick it up because it was raining/snowing. I love the car and am very happy with the price.

This is the first car I have purchased in my adult life. From the beginning until the end of this transaction, Jack Mizrahi was extremely professional, and genuinely concerned for my goals in purchasing my first certified pre-owned vehicle. He made my transaction a 100% pleasurable experience. Seeing as this car was my first big purchase and having only one true line of credit I was worried my interest rate was going to be very high. Rachel and Jim both worked together to bring the rate down ALOT in order to make me happy and make my payments affordable. Danbury Honda has the best selection of Hondas in CT and definitely a larger manual car selection as well if that is something you're looking for. I would without a doubt recommend this dealership and will most likely go back to look for another car in the future.

I have nothing but great things to say about my entire buying experience at Honda of Danbury! When I walked in to the dealership with my two kids in tow, there was a friendly face to greet me and tell me about the "children's corner". This made it very easy to have a "grown up" conversation with my very knowledgeable sales person, Michael Devine. When I came in to the dealership I was not sure if I was going to lease a car or purchase one. Once I figured out that I wanted to buy a Honda, the next decision I had to make was new or used. Michael ran some numbers out for me making my decision very clear. This is a process that can usually take me days even weeks to figure out. I felt that my sales person was so informative with out being pushy that I was able to look at all my options and make a decision right there on the spot. I am so very happy with my purchase! This dealer was recommended by friends from Wilton, CT and now I know why. My request was highly unusual. We live in California and our daughter is in college nearby the dealership. We needed to lease a car for her to get to her internships off campus. I called a dealer closer to her campus but they were not willing to take on the challenge. Tom McMullin approved and put John Francisco on the job. John went far beyond what I have asked of our local California dealer when leasing three other Hondas since 2006. We did and she explained the unique differences for the accord, the civic, and the cross tour.From the way the engine worked for the crosstour to the different feel of drive for each Honda type, she was able to explain the technicalities in language that I could understand. Because of that, I was able to make an informed decision to buy the accord. I love my new Accord. I wasn't sure what to get , but my salesman listened carefully and then recommended the best car for me. We even discussed color. I have never had an black car and I really love it. Scott Stirling really took the time to make me feel comfortable with all of the new technology. I have never had a car with these options. He was patient and trust me it took a while for me to understand. Because of Scott I even have a photo wallpaper behind the car clock. My husband & I have had the BEST ever experience w/Honda of Danbury & John Francisco! My husband needed to get another car as he was without a vehicle. He was referred to Honda of Danbury & specifically John Francisco by a co-worker. He went online & saw a vehicle he was interested in (Honda accord). We "scheduled" an appointment w/John to come in & see the vehicle. Well, upon entering the facility I was quite amazed. VERY clean, spacious, bright, WELCOMING! The "waiting area" - very comfortable seating, free coffee (MANY selections available), restrooms cleaned & stocked, I could go on! We went up to the front desk where I think a young lady by the name of Melissa greeted us & paged John. Her friendly smile was welcoming. John approached & his professionalism, friendliness were just so inviting. What a difference compared to other sales people we've had to deal with. Well, the vehicle was purchased and after all the paperwork was signed, we walked out of there RELAXED & happy & so impressed w/just the WHOLE experience. It was almost like we didn't have to do anything except sign documents, give down-payment, and then leave. John took care of everything!! Well, since the Honda name is so exceptional & I had been contemplating getting a "smaller" vehicle....2 weeks later we came back. I traded in my Nissan Pathfinder for a Honda CRV-EXL. Again, I have NOTHING negative to say. From the ease of trading in the old to "new", it was with such EASE again, almost like we didn't have to do anything. We dealt w/John again this 2nd time as well. He was extremely quick, helpful, no "pushiness", etc. He is truthful, knowledgeable, and definitely knows how to do his job & loves his job. You don't find that very often in sales people - almost like you're just a "commission" for them, but John did NOT make us feel like that ever. Will we go back? ABSOLUTELY! but not now! LOL! Will we refer Honda of Danbury to others? again, ABSOLUTELY!!! If you want the best experience ever....a reliable, backed by their name car, then come here! You will NOT be disappointed. I just purchased my seventh Honda Accord [six of them at Honda of Danbury].Since my first purchase in 1986, I have never considered any alternative. The car is beautifully made, fully loaded [V6 coupe with navigation] with every piece of safety and entertainment technology one can possibly want. In a nutshell, the Accord is fun to drive and totally reliable. After purchasing the 1990 model at Honda of Danbury, I have never considered another dealer, the service [Dave, Ed, Teri et al] and sales force [most recently Steve Vikaros] are a pleasure to work with. I appreciate their integrity and professionalism.

This is the first time that I have actually worked with a "car salesman" and did not feel intimidated at all. I put that word in quotes, because Joe isn't your traditional "car salesman". He is a terrific honest person, who wanted to do what was right for not only me as the customer, but the dealer and the brand. I felt an immediate trust dealing with Joe from the beginning, and working with him to find the right type of car for me. He wasn't pushy, he wasn't a know it all, he wasn't condescending, he wasn't robotic. He was a human being. He knows the trials and issues that people have with dealers and dealerships. He was calming, and really helped with our decision to be the best for what we needed in a car.As I bought, and drove the car off the lot on Saturday - it is now Monday morning and I have already received a call from Joe. Not from Danbury Honda, not from some automated system, not from a solicitor. A CALL FROM JOE. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST - something that is lost in the world we live in.I love Honda's. I would definitely recommend this dealership. I cannot stress how much dreaded going to purchase a used car by myself. I am a 66 year old single woman and have not bought a car in 12 years. Tony Delena was incredible. He was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all my questions and made the whole process easy. I left very happy with my purchase and feeling confident I made the right choice. We visited Honda of Danbury three times and bought a 2013 Honda Accord. We were greeted at the door by salesman Tony DeLena and he was very pleasent and polite while he asked our needs and showed us several models. Tony was very informative of the various models and has a solid technical understanding of the Honda vehicles. He was honest and upfront with answers to our questions and hussled around to show us vehicles in the lot and let us take a test drive in an Accord. He made the final deal a pleasent experience and didn't haggle on minor details. We chose to self-finance for personal reasons, but he helped us to apply for potential financing with the dealership. He is still working hard to coordinate to correct a minor problem with the car that the Service Dept. should have caught while preparing the car for delivery on Monday, 12/31/12. We will recommend Honda of Danbury and especially Tony DeLena to friends that may be interested with buying a Honda vehicle.

My family was traveling on New Year's Eve from a visit with relatives in Pittsburgh, PA to our home in NH, when our new Honda Odyssey started making a strange noise. At first we thought it was road noise, but over time, we realized that we needed service or we might not make it home! With most repair shops closed on New Year's Day, we were worried about how long we'd be stuck. We were unfamiliar with the area, and our Garmin had died on the trip (talk about bad luck!), but a kind stranger directed us to Danbury Honda. We arrived 12 minutes prior to their closing time. I figured that any reasonable dealership would send us away, as it was a holiday eve. I literally ran into the dealership with little hope of help that day and with two panicking kids in the car.Scott Benz listened carefully to my story and took us right away. After they checked the car, we received a diagnosis of a failed wheel bearing. Within 90 minutes, they had made the repair and sent us on our way. They even washed the car!! I cannot tell you how thankful we were for Scott's kindness, professionalism, and concern for our family. I am certain that everyone just wanted to go home to ring in the New Year, but they took care of our needs, instead. Scott, we can't thank you and your team enough! We are so thankful to be safely home, today!!! We would recommend your service department to anyone! These folks are GEMS!

Good morning and Happy New Year....First I didn't realize this needed to be in before midnight..at that time I was watching the Mohegan Sun slot machine eat my money although I was able to spend another New Year eve with my parents of 85 and 83 yrs of age, my husband, my sister and future brother in law....God Bless....I may add mom love the slots!!!! John Landry has been a pleasure to work with, I have to admit, having elderly parents we needed to get moving fast through the car transaction as it was like 4:30 New year eve, and John got the job done with a smile on his face. He stayed in contact with me and just overall got us into the car and out the door. I went in with my wife and 3 year old grandchild, to inquire about a 2013 Ridgeline Sport, that was on the lot. I explained to my salesperson that I did not have a lot of time and informed him that I was thinking of purchasing a 2012 from another dealer. That vehicle was certified used with 9000 miles. Don, my salesman, within minutes gave me a great price with a lower finance rate and said I could pick up my vehicle that same day. I am a former owner of a Limousine company, and have purchased many cars in my lifetime. This by far was the fastest, painless, experience anyone could have. Don, also only took less then 45 minutes, to fully explain and deliver my car. Great experience and would recommend the salesman, service department, and dealership to anyone.

I stopped in on a Thursday morning with only a half hour to get my wife's car appraised and get a price on a Civic lease. Scott walked over, introduced himself and we began the process. I explained my time crunch and he started working on numbers right away. After getting what I wanted to hear with no haggle, I left the dealership. Scott answered a few questions over the phone after I left and my wife went and signed the paperwork that afternoon. That Thursday evening we were out of a high payment on an SUV we didn't use or need and now I'm driving a brand new Civic which I love. I would say Scott was a no BS type salesman and was honest and never lied once during the process. This means a lot to me as I've never met many salesman like him.

Through the internet, I located the exact pre-owned Mercury Mariner that I wanted and it was located at Danbury Honda. Although I live in Long Island, I decided that it was worth the trip due to the excellent price, color and model of the vehicle.Tony DeLena treated us as if we were purchasing their fanciest new Honda. He was so friendly, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He handled the paperwork very efficiently, even though it was a little more involved since it required out of state registration.While he was getting the paperwork done, he was also running around getting the car cleaned, and even ran to the gas station and filled the tank. The other salespeople and staff were also very friendly and courteous, making sure we knew where we could get a beverage in the showroom. I also liked the set-up for doing the paperwork, working at tables out on the sales floor rather than sitting in a cubicle.It was the best experience that I've ever had in a car dealership and I highly recommend Tony for his courtesy and professionalism. I bought a Civic in a day. That's because Tony was honest, transparent, efficient, and sensitive to what I needed in a car. He didn't "hard sell" me and he didn't waste my time. I needed to go out of town quickly and he turned around a new Civic in less than a day., some of that on his own time. And he is available: I feel that I could call him anytime with follow-up questions.The dealership folks were all friendly. There's a nice feeling when you walk in. If I stood there for a minute or more, someone would come up and see if I needed anything. I haven't serviced the car yet, but the service center has great hours.

Great service department! Can't express that enough!My car would not start and within 45 minutes Honda roadside assistance came and towed my car to Danbury Honda. The tow company driver (Geoff) was very professional and extremely careful in handling my car.Honda of Danburys service department took my car right away and within less than a half a day my car was fixed (even though it was just a battery issue).I have always had such a pleasant experience with Danbury Honda's service department. The service mangers and mechanics are very professional and knowledgeable. To me when I buy a car my main concern is how I am treated at the service department. Honda of Danbury has always gone above and beyond! Thank you again for such a pleasant experience!

After owning 3 Chrysler/Dodge minivans in 20 years, it was time to consider a change. Based on much research and test-driving of other makes, we thought a Honda Odyssey could be the answer although we'd never owned a Honda before. We were fortunate that Danbury Honda was the closest facility and even more fortunate that Tony Delena was our salesman because they both proved to be terrific. I dreaded the haggling that often accompanies a new car purchase, the suspicion that we would not be fully and honestly informed or respectfully treated. It was needless worry. Tony was always receptive to calls and questions, he took all the time we wanted (and needed) to make this big decision and worked with us fairly on arriving at the final purchase price. The transaction was flawless and easy with all the other involved departments professionally doing their part. We have not had any dealing with the service department yet but did check it out and found it amazingly clean and efficient. By the way, I love my new van!!

I have been a loyal customer of the service department for 16 years with my 1996 Honda Civic. 2 years ago when my wife's Toyota Sienna was due to be retired, I knew I wanted a Honda for her. We worked with Rich Radigan and she is in love with her 2010 CR-V. As my Civic ages and with a daughter getting ready to drive, I knew it was time to add a third car to the family. Only call I made was Rich who sat down with me and figured out a game plan for getting me a new Civic, with just the right features, accessories, price point and warranty. Last week we received an advertisement from Honda of Danbury suggesting that we might be able to upgrade our 2010 CR-V to a 2012 model forgiving the existing loan and keeping the payment the same. I again called Rich, we did trade up, and love the new 2012 CR-V. I always feel like the Honda of Danbury team (both service and sales) is working *with* me, not *on* me. I was greeted and assisted immediately upon arrival. Tony DeLena was courteous and responsive to my request to look at specific cars that I had viewed on-line. Tony shared information about each vehicle during the test drive but did not hard sell at any point. Tony and I were able to reach a very fair price and within 5 days, I drove my Certified Pre-Owned Honda Accord off the lot. I am very pleased with the respectful and prompt customer service I experienced at Honda of Danbury.

Dishonest, Unethical Dealership that treats its customers badly and refuses to apologize for the behavior of their service employees. A service advisor refused to accept my third party extended warranty provided by AAA and called AAA a scam! I complained to upper management who refused to accept their mistake. I will never go there again and never have after 2011.

Buying my certified pre-owned 2010 Accord EX-L was a good experience all the way around. The dealership had a good inventory of cars to choose from, and their web site made it easy for me to narrow down my selection ahead of time, so I could go in with specific cars in mind to test drive. Tony Delena was extremely helpful, and was respectful of my preferences; he didn't try to pressure me into buying anything different or additional. I had good follow-up contact after my initial visit, keeping me posted on additional pre-owned cars that met my specifications as they became available. When I finally found the right car, the negotiations on price were reasonable and fair, and finalizing the purchase and paperwork was a breeze.

The reason why I gave Honda of Danbury a 5 star rating is very simple, they are really the best Honda dealership in Connecticut. From the state of the art service facility, to the friendly employees, all the way to the incredibly knowledgable technicians. Many of my family members own Hondas so when it was time to upgrade to a better car I knew which way to go. I took some time and visited a few other dealerships and right when I entered the showroom at Honda of Danbury I felt like I was in good hands. I ended up buying my Acura TSX from Chris Corbett, who made the purchase of my car exciting even during the boring paperwork. They even put a bow on my car for me!! I have come in for service on a few occasions and dealt with Ed Acosta and Marcus Little. They are both very nice and take the time to explain to you the services that you are in need of, which is great for us who don't know much about cars. They always make sure to accomodate my needs and even had the shuttle driver bring me to the mall for some shopping while my car was being serviced. Marcus and Ed always made sure to keep in contact with me throughout the whole process making sure I knew about everything going on and asking for permission before any extra work was done. My car is always ready when they say it will be and I even get a free car wash! It is by far the best car dealership I've been to.

Wonderful dealership and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The service department ALWAYS gets the job done and always gets it done quick. The waiting room is comfortable and spacious so if you do have to wait, the wait isn't a hassle. The service drive through is amazing too especially on rainy days!!!! During my last service visit I walked around the dealership to kill time and was surprised of how immaculate the sales showroom was and how friendly the entire staff is. Great place to service a car and it seems to me it's a great place to buy a car as well. Wouldn't take my Honda anywhere else!

It was a pleasure to work with Jack. He was attentive to our needs and Honda of Danbury had the vehicles they advertised on the internet. As established Honda owners we knew what to expect from the vehicle and for the first time in quite a while the dealership and the salesperson lived up to our expectations (we had previously shopped at two other dealerships in the Hudson Valley and their professionalism fell far short of Jack's and everyone else at Danbury). Because of unforseen circumstances we needed another car two weeks after we bought our 2012 Civic. Jack had us in the right used vehicle within moments of out arrival on our next shopping visit. There was no salesperson pressure and there was a nice choice of vehicles. We will tell our friends that it is worth the drive to Danbury to see Jack.Our only suggestion is to corporate Honda: Give people color options on the interior choices for the Civic model above the EX. Not everyone likes black.

My husband and I went in on 8/9/12 to look at a handful of cars we saw on the website in the $10K - $13K price range. Scott our salesman was very helpful and listened to out needs. He checked on all the call we were interested in and they were all gone except for a Subaru. We decided to test drive it and liked it so agreed to purchase. We asked Scott to give us a rough estimate of monthly payments based on the preapproval financing we had already gotten. The payments were a littler higher than we wants so he discussed a lower price with a manager and they dropped the price to accomodate. We agreed and Scott asked us when we wanted to pick the car up. We told him today if possible.We applied for financing just to see if we could get a better rate. Jim the finance manager made us wait over an hour and we decided to go have lunch and come back since he seemed very busy. We went for lunch and came back over two hours later and they still didnt have any information. He then came back after about another hour and told us he just couldn't find us any financing. We said we would finalize our preapproval and come back.The next day Jim called and asked me what rate we got for our preapproval because he might have something better. He told me his rate and it was better, eventhough yesterday he said he couldn't find anything. We made an appointment for Monday morning to finalize sign everything and take the car home.We showed up Monday for our appointment and Jim wasn't there because he is off mondays and tuesdays. Which apparently no one knew. We then got the other Jim who is a finance manager. He came out annoyed like we had interrupted him. We waited over an hour to find out they did not have the title for the vehicle, they didn't have a lien release because they didn't even send the check to pay off the vehicle until after we put a deposit on it on Thursday. They then asked us to sign all the paperwork for the financing anyway and said we could go home with dealer plates and deal with the title and everything else later. We said we were not comfortable purchasing a car if they didn't have a title or lien release for it. (especially considering it is illegal to sell a car without a title) And we would not be able to register the car without one.They then told us they do this sort of thing all the time and it was no big deal. I repeated that I was not comfortable buying a car with no title or lien release. They then looked at us like we were crazy and asked us to wait for another manager to see if there was anything he could do.We waited an additional 20 minutes for that manager who then said he would pay for a rental from Enterprise until they sorted it out. We politely declined and he proceeded to act like we were being stupid and said ok, but your losing out on a great deal and a great car. We left.Scott was great as a salesperson. The Finance and managment team at no point apologized for the inconveniences, they were demeaning and at no point did they ever try and rectify any of the problems we encountered. They just tried to bully us into signing paperwork.

I gave Honda of Danbury a '5' on all of their ratings for multilple reasons. I've been going to Honda of Danbury since I moved to Danbury from Carmel (about 6 months now) and must say their service facility alone speaks for itself. In the winter it's great because you just pull your car right in to the garage area so you don't have to deal with the snow, cold, or whatever else it may be doing outside. Also, every time I go in for an oil change, the work is done faster than any other place I've been to and my car comes out looking great thanks to their complimentary car wash with every service. In my most recent visit, I went in for an oil change (excited because it was the last one before my lease was up in September). While my car was being serviced, I decided to find out what my options were in the coming months as far as getting a new car (lease or purchase), financing my current 2009 Civic, or just going somewhere else. I talked with Brian Beanland, the General Manager, and he explained all of my options from this point forward. I first dealt with Brian when he worked at a different Honda dealership and when there was a misunderstanding between one of the salespeople and myself ---basically, I was unsure of what car/color/options I wanted because it was my first car and I took a long time to make up my mind and the salesperson was clearly getting frustrated -- Brian assured me that I could take my time and never made me feel backed into a corner or pressured to go a certain way. And that's exactly what it was this time around again. He clearly explained my diffferent options whether I financed my 2009 Civic, released my current lease early, or waited until September. He crunched all of the numbers and went out of his way to get a really great deal where I put $0 down. I took a 2012 Honda Accord SE for a test drive with Angelo that day. He explained to me all of the features of the Special Edition Accord including the leather interior, remote window controls, spacious interior, etc. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing; it was clear that Angelo and Brian sell cars using the same philosophy. He made me feel the same way that Brian did: I didn't feel pressured to buy the vehicle, I didn't feel like I was being pushed in a certain direction, I never felt that I had to make up my mind on the spot. This is in great contrast to my experience back in 2009 with the salesperson at the other Honda dealership. Basically, Angelo made me feel like he was there to show me the vehicles and answer the questions that I had. Whether or not I was going to buy that vehicle, he was still going to give me the best attention and customer service. It was nice dealing with someone who clearly loves his line of work. What it boils down to is that I left Honda of Danbury with a new 2012 Accord SE paying less per month with $0 down than what I paid for my 2009 Civic LX with $2000 down. I highly reccomend Honda of Danbury because of their excellent customer service, family atmosphere, great service department, and because they truly go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

Went for service and got pulled in to "garage sale". It was not high pressure and I looked at a slightly used van. Seamus worked with us in a very comfortable way and we ended up buying a nice van and getting a good deal on our trade in Honda.

I rate this dealer's Service department as outstanding. We had a major issue with an Accord we just bought and feared we bought a lemon. Jay Whitlock, the service manager, was an incredible professional in every regard and took a terrible situation and simply could not have handled us better. In fact, if I were the General Manager, I'd find a way to elevate Jay as he is the consummate professional and represents his management and ownership in the finest way. I tried to call our sales person for help but he was unavailable and when I called his sales manager, I was simply forwarded to Service where I asked for Jay specifically. After finding no help from sales management, turning to Jay was the best thing I could have done. I would not dream of having the car serviced anywhere else.

This was easily the least stressful experience ever. I chose this dealership because of all the positive reviews online. Arrived at 9am, was greeted by Angelo and Brian who guided me through the whole experience. I even got a tour of the 3 yr old state of the art service department which is quite impressive to say the least. I left the dealership in a freshly waxed 2012 Accord EXL V6 before 10:30. I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a vehicle before. Oh yeah, and they have an awesome waiting room with WiFi so bring your laptop or iPad.

I just leased my eighth car from Danbury Honda and each time I have done so, it justs gets easier and easier. I leased my first Honda from Tom McMullin and although his role has changed, he was there when I leased this new car. It is so nice to have someone you can call in a heartbeat who is there to address any concerns you may have. This time I was fortunate to deal with a gal who is fairly new to Danbury Honda. Danielle Parmon was a pleasure to deal with. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. My experience at Danbury Honda was Great. The salesman was anything but pushy. He had patience and answered every question my wife and I had and gave us the best option that suited us even though other options would have put more money in his pocket. My experience with Mike was excellent. As a woman when I go somewhere without my husband for a large purchase I tend to be overlooked. This was not the case with Mike. He made me feel important and valued as a customer. He listened to what I had to say and never pressured me or made me feel insignificant. The same attitude carried over when I met with Jim Wright for the final details of the purchase. I can not say enough positive things about Mike and my experience with Honda of Danbury. Carlos Albuquerque, became our salesman and within an hour my wife & I picked out a new CRV, test drove it and agreed on a selling price! Carlos also gave us a tour of Servicing Facilities. My initial experience of the service from this dealership was disappointing. I felt that more work than was necessary was done to my car and I was not vigilant enough to catch it before the work was done. What really impressed me about this dealership was their actions after they found out that I was not pleased with my service. The dealership could have just walked away and said that I should have spoken up when the work was done and they would have been correct is saying so. Instead they really listened to my concerns and took actions to make it right. There are always going to be mistakes and miscommunications, sticking with the customer (me) and working together toward a resolution makes a big difference. Tony was terrific. He provided all of the information we needed without "stalking" or being pushy. We came in to scout vehicles. He greeted us, realized we wanted to explore on our own and gave us the space to do so (though he was smart enough to give us his card). When we were ready, we asked for him and he readily provided all of the information that we needed. He also encouraged us to look online for internet specials for the cars in which we were interested. Finally, when we were ready, he allowed us to take the car for a test drive.All in all, the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had.

It was absolutely wonderful working with this dealership and Angelo Gutierrez in particular. Gutierrez and the financing staff there went above and beyond to get me the best possible financing package and even encouraged me to go online and do the research before they sold me the car. I had a great experience at Danbury Honda. The sales man Carlos was very friendly and took the time to sit with me and my family and go over all options available to me. He then had us speak to the manager Robert who was also very friendly and very helpful. They made me a deal that I was very happy with for my new CRV. Carlos also gave us a tour of their facility and it looks great. Friendly employees and great service, I will definitely be back to Danbury Honda.

Our experience with Honda of Danbury was great. We went into the dealership just to look and never felt pressured. John Francisco was a great salesman. He listened to our needs and heard my desire for a Pilot. Since the new vehicle would be my wife's, John suggested she drive the bigger Pilot before deciding if we wanted a CR-V. He told us before she drove it, "It is going to be too big for her but you should try it anyway." He was right and never tried to get us into a bigger, more expensive Pilot. Nice, down to earth, friendly and attentive salesman. Jim worked with us on financing and he was a pleasure as well. He explained our options and never pressured us into add-ons. His explanations were thorough and he encouraged us to choose what worked for us and we ultimately decided only to add the Honda Care plan. With so many advanced electronics, it just made sense. He also gave us time to investigate the impact of refinancing our mortgage on our credit score. All in all the experience was great. A special thanks to everyone for putting up with our 21 month old, hyperactive son. John repeatedly checked in with him and gave him a toy car to play with. Jim gave us space to address his need to shut his office door. The rest of the sales and finance team gave smiles, encouragement and laughs as our son pretended the showroom was his playground screaming and running around. We were embarrassed enough at his unusual behavior and they never made us feel horrible. We should also explain the reason for the antics was the present he had for us in his diaper. We didn't realize until we got in our car to drive away. Sorry for the smell but thanks for a painless and refreshing car buying experience.

This is the second new car purchase I've made at Danbury Honda and I would highly recommend them. Carlos our sales person was so easy going and never pressured us at anytime during the process. He was able to answer all of our questions specifically comparing the Honda Pilot to its competitors. He negotiated an excellent price for our trade in and worked out a monthly payment that was right in our range. Jim in the finance department was also very helpful in getting us a great rate and closed our deal within 48 hours. If you are in the market for a Honda, go see Carlos and Jim!

I wasen't expecting for the manger to be invovled with my purchase, it was a nice surprise. Had looked at another honda dealer closer to home but felt extremely pressured by salesman. I am very happy I choose Danbury Honda and am looking forward to first sevice visit, the service lounge looked so clean and comfortable. Over all I found Danbury Honda very welcoming and friendly. I have been driving a Hyundai for the last several years, and my parents have two of them, so when my car broke down my first response was to go to Hyundai. I found them to be rude, arrogant, and overpriced for an inferior product - I bought my Hyundai in the first place because it was cheap. After the treatment I was recieving at the Hyundai dealership, I walked out and went to Honda next door. The salesman, John Francisco, was friendly, accomadating, knowledgable, and went out of his way to make sure that we got a car that suited our needs in the price range that we were looking for. John spent the better part of two days working with us, and was never anything other than helpful. We also worked with Jim Wright, who was very helpful and friendly and helped us a great deal with the financing.Thank you John and Jim! It was such a pleasure to work with Carlos Albuquerque. He made returning my leased vehicle and getting into a new lease as easy as possible for me. I truly feel he went above and beyond in assisting me complete the transaction in a short amount of time, due to me having to travel shortly after picking up the new car. He was friendly, easy to talk to, explained everything for me, was easy to reach with any additional questions I had and if I had to leave a message was extremely prompt in returning my phone calls. He also transferred the registration of my old leased vehicle to the new with about an hours notice when appointments changed in the time I could return my old leased vehicle.I would recommend him personally to any friends, family or co-workers that I know looking to buy or lease a Honda. I look forward to working with him again at the end of this lease as well!The business manager, Jim Wright, made all of the paperwork easy and quick to complete! Tom McMullin was also warm and friendly introducing himself and offering to assist if I had any questions if Carlos was not available.My only reluctantancy in returning to the Danbury Honda dealership is the risk of having to deal with General Sales Manager, Robert Plambeck. He is the reason I left the Brewster Honda dealership and came to Danbury Honda about 3 1/2 to 4 years ago. I am relieved I did not have to work with him on this transaction. I hope when I return Robert is either no longer employed at Danbury Honda or I can request not to work with him.

Do not leave a deposit on a vehicle unless you are 100% sure that you are going to buy a vehicle from Honda of Danbury. They will keep your deposit (in my case %500.00)and blow off your phone calls and the voice mails you send when trying to get your deposit back.

I was in the market for a new Honda (being in a household with4 hondas Honda was a no brainer),anyway we where shopping at costco shopping and I saw the danbury Honda down the street.I stopped in on a whim and was cheerfully met by dave marino.I. told him I was looking to buy a new accord coupe in stick shift(very hard to find)in about a month.dave instantly got me a set of keys to an accord coupe to drive,I never even had to ask.I was not pressured in the least and Dave even let me and my dad test drive the car by ourselves.I test drove the car and asked dave the best deal he could give me.Dave gave me a great deal,and I told him I was waiting on a check to get the car which should take about a month.Dave told me he wasn't sure how long he would have a stick shift accord because they don't make many.Anyway a month later I returned and Dave gave me even more off the msrp then when I went for the test drive.Dave bent over backwords for me and was extremely honest and genuine.I have never had a better experience in my life when buying something.Everyone at the dealership was so nice and even though the dealership was very busy,dave took car of me like a member of his family.I will never buy another new car from any other dealership,the experience was that good.

Everyone that I encountered is friendly here. My father and I dealt with Mike and Tom. I thought they both did a great job and were very accommodating. Working with Mike to get the deal done on my 10' Civic was truly a great experience. From the beginning, they were upfront and honest with the both of us, and that was greatly appreciated. Mike even went out of his way to get me exactly what I wanted and even surprise me, even though we thought that might be a tough task. Overall it was a success and I recommend dealing with Honda of Danbury.

We were greeted by Luis Lessa with such a friendliness and brought into this beautifulimmaculate showroom. We were impressed. An array of beautiful cars beckoned us but wefell for the Pilot and that suited our needs the most. The whole sales team were friendly, helpful (even when we came in once and Luis wasn't immediately available wewere met with courtesy and helpfulness.) Luis is a professional and when we pickedup our new Honda we new we had come to the right dealership. We highly recommend Honda of Danbury to our friends.

Manager changed terms of sale after two hours of negotiation, handshake, and check deposit because of pickup date, being on Tuesday instead of Saturday, when pickup date of Tuesday was announced loudly and clearly before sitting down to negotiate. No apologies. I picked up the exact car from NY dealer for 100 dollars less on the following Tuesday, and I received the warm and friendly service I had hoped to get from my local dealer, who did not wish to sell me a car. I still cannot figure out why I was treated so poorly.

I entered the new building looking for a used car and was introduced to Debbie. She always seemed a little too busy, distracted and unfocused. Some of the pricing information she told me later turned out to be inaccurate. Despite all this I decided on an '07 Accord and gave them a deposit. After about 2 weeks of checking around for financing (one bank's process was ridiculously slow) I chose to use Honda's financing. I called to say I would be coming in to finalize the deal (I always got Debbie's voicemail, never live on the phone) and went to buy the car. When I arrived she was quite put out that I had just showed up (she never called me back), telling me I had to make an appointment. She took me in to the sales manager who gave me a bit of a verbal beating for making them wait 2 weeks! At her suggestion I agreed to 5:30 that evening. I showed up then and was ignored by Debbie for about an hour while she attended to other customers, never even greeting me, smiling or making eye contact with me. When she finally did get around to me her attitude was far from positive, some of the details of the agreed-upon deal were wrong and I had had enough. I cancelled the deal and got my deposit back a few days later.Two of the other salespeople I had brief dealings with were quite friendly and helpful, so it's not the whole dealership. I do wonder though if they're resting on the laurels of Honda's reputation too much rather than extending positive customer service. I ended up going down the street and getting a better deal on a superior quality '06 Hyundai Sonata for $5000 less. I was treated like a king there!

While having car serviced, someone at the dealership tore up my rear bumper. Fair Honda refused to fix it. After 3 hours of trying to get them to fix it, they still thought it was not their responsibility. After talking to my insurance company and being assured it was their responsibility, I started to cry from the insults they were inflicting on me, accusing me of damaging my own car. They finally gave me the phone number of their "body department" they claimed they didn't have, and they did basic repairs. I was also promised free oil changes and the use of the dealers car when I purchased my car, which they shortly changed their mind about. They also could not figure out why the check engine light was going on and off in my car for 2 years. I have since taken the car to another dealership, and the check engine light works fine.

bought a 2007 honda fit there. a bit expensive, and they pull the usual tricks of trying to sell extended warranty, paint protection (!!!), and a lojack system. be adamant, you can get away without buying them.in the end, they got me the car I wanted for a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

I purchased a used 2001 so -called "certified" Honda Accord in Dec with 10,800 miles on it. In June when turning on the A/C I noticed it was not cold and was making a hissing noise. I was assured by the sales person, John Francisco that I could go to any Honda service/ dealer for service and everything would be coverd under the warranty till 36000 miles.<br>When another Honda Dealer had to add freon, he said was not covered. I had to pay 134.00. Dave Rubin, the used car manager told me if I went to him , they would have not charged me. He stated that they couldnt check the AC in Dec when I purchased the car because it was too cold. So was this car really "certified"? Now the manager of Fair Honda, Joe Thompson is not returning any of my calls. I am looking for a refund of the $ 134.00. American Honda was of no help. Buyer beware at Fair. John Francisco the sales rep was also "very surprised" the service was not covered at the other Dealer. Why is he selling used cars? What kind of Manager doesnt even return a persons calls? <br>
