I am mostly pleased with my purchase of a 2018 Toyota Camry however, I don’t believe this car had an inspection done prior to selling. With my experience of working at a dealership, all cars get oil changes & required maintenance no matter how many miles.. my oil change sticker is from a Cadillac dealership from another city & requires maintenance in about 3k miles. I work out of state so I didn’t have time to dink around much with it or explore the “issues” this vehicle may have.. I guess you could say that’s my own fault BUT the car shouldn’t have any issues or need any major replacements because it only has 25k miles on it. I know the brakes are gonna need to be replaced once I get back home & that can range up to $700. Both key fob batteries were dead within a few hours of getting it home (not a huge deal, I just bought batteries for $10 & replaced them myself). I’m sure there is more to discover once I get my vehicle into the shop.. I inquired about the return policy & got a “we’re passed the 5 day..” email but they never asked how it’s treating me or why I wasn’t pleased with the vehicle..the salesman that helped me was friendly during my visit & so was the finance guy, they helped me out a lot & kept me up to date with the process of my application. I originally went into the dealership looking for a vehicle with manual transmission but they didn’t have many options. I do enjoy Toyota’s & I know they last a while.. guess my services will be done at a trusted dealer closer to home.

My fiancee and I spent an entire Saturday here, determined to come away with at least one car -- and we bought two! Chuck (pictured) gave us the star treatment from the get go. Attentive, listened to our story and what kind of vehicle we wanted, our reasons, and did not try to sway us one way or another. He gave us the skinny on each vehicle, and Chuck was such a delight to work with in this clean, fabulous dealership (and the cookies are delicious!) that we ended up leasing TWO cars! Special shout out to Edward V. in finance who walked us through each step of the payment portion, and also provided a few recommendations on restaurants, which is helpful since we're new to the area. Highly recommend!

Update: I saw this review and although it is old, I realize that I should update it. I did speak to a service manager about the bill and we came to a compromise. In the end they billed me only for the diagnostic fee, which was several hundred dollars, and the installation of the relay switch. They removed the charge for the coil. I felt it was a reasonable compromise and I have never had any other issues with the dealer. I continued to use them until this day! I'm not sure what to say. In the past, I have had great experiences with Luther Hopkins Honda. I have used the body shop and I exclusively use the service shop for all service for my car. They have always been friendly and efficient. I love the waiting area and really have never had any complaints, until this year. My first issue was the body shop. After using them for several repairs, I came to drop off my car and rent a car. Suddenly a man showed up and told me that I can't have my dog in the rental car. He seemed very defensive and actually, obnoxious about it. Well, it was a deal breaker because I had a dog with me and I couldn't leave him at the dealer, so I left....and found another place to repair my car. When I asked if a dog in a rental car was going to be a problem, they laughed as if I was kidding. Next issue was recently. I took my car in to look into an AC issue. I knew it had cool air but wasn't being directed into the vents. They did the inspection (expensive) and told me it had no power so they would need to bill me for more time to keep looking. I approved it next they called and said I needed a new coil. It was a big job and my car would need to stay an extra night. By now, the bill was at $1,100 and I approved it as I wanted my AC to function. I didn't hear from them all the next day until the afternoon, when I called. They told me the technician was having a hard time. When he put the coil in and drove it, it wasn't working, so they determined that the coil was faulty and they would need to put another one in. They put another in and the AC would work and then stop , (exactly the reason I brought it in to begin with), They called and said they were now looking at a clutch issue. By this time, I was angry. I didn't think they knew what was wrong, but they kept exploring and billing. I went online and googled my problem. I found out was what happening with my car was common to its make and model and that often it was a cheap, faulty relay switch which causes the clutch to fail. I mentioned this to the service rep and told her to tell the tech to check it. When she called later, the car was fixed. all working no new clutch. I picked it up and noticed, they had indeed installed a relay switch. I am skeptical that I ever needed the coil, although I honestly can't say. Makes me suspect. I will still go there for oil changes, but not major service unless I know what is wrong before I hand over my car....and my wallet!

I am over the moon happy with my experience with Luther Hopkins Honda. I needed a new vehicle so I checked out their website and found a delightful used 2018 Honda CR-V with only 6.7k miles on it! I applied for financing from their site and in literally less than 5 minutes they called me to set up a test drive. They worked with my schedule and I drove out on a Thursday to see/test drive the vehicle. They introduced me to Glenn, a sales associate who is a down to Earth guy, knowledgeable about the vehicle and understood my needs and concerns. He was so nice and helpful! After deciding to purchase, I met with Matt for financing and he was fun, personable and very clear about everything that was being offered and items I needed to sign. No one was out there to try and sell me what I didn’t need, which I deeply appreciate, it shows this dealership cares about the individual. Overall, the staff was wonderful, personable and receptive, they worked to get me the best deal and on top of that, I was in and out with a new vehicle in less than 2 hours! Unheard of! Glenn even mailed me the garage opener I forgot from trading in my old vehicle. Luther Hopkins Honda is a great dealership, highly recommended to anyone in need of a new or used vehicle!

I just want to thank the Hopkins Honda service department and especially Jace Harken, Service Consultant. He has always gone out his way to ensure that I was treated professionally and fairly. He is very knowledgeable and honest always carefully explaining the available options for the service work needed. It is so nice to know that I have such a trust worthy person to take care of my vehicle. My Honda Ridgeline has 185,000 miles and I am shooting for 250,000 thanks to the care I get from Jace and the service department.

In general we have enjoyed terrific service at Luther Hopkins Honda. This morning, however, I brought our 2004 Honda Odyssey in in response to a recall notice we received in the mail. The appointment to have the recall issue serviced was estimated to take 2 hours. Since I cannot bring my work with me to the Honda dealership, I must choose to wait for the van and lose 2 hours of time and pay or pay $15 to use one of Honda's vans. Though this is not a lot of money, on principle I disagree with having to pay money because Honda needs to fix their mistake. The least they can do is provide a car for the time of the service appointment in exchange for the time and trouble they have caused me. Sorry to have this disappointing experience associated with a place I've come to trust.

I love going to Hopkins Honda for my service needs on my car. Everyone is so friendly and concerned about how they can help you. The man who took my car and went through the process with me was so kind. I thought my spare key needed a battery or something and he took the time to check it and then explained to me that the key does not work when your car is running and you have locked the doors. He was very sweet. The employees are all so nice. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. I really enjoy the experience.

After two rotations, confirmation was made that one of four tires was bad and needed replacing. Actually I complained the first rotation not knowing that they just rotated the bad tire to the back instead of replacing it, but they got it right the second time around. Service Rep, Mike, was on top of it. He took my vehicle in, put me in a rental, and I was on my way. The tire was replaced at no cost to me and thus far I am very pleased. I won't really know the strength of the new tire until it gets rotated to the front, but as of right now all is well.

Early November 20, 2013 my wife and myself stopped by Hopkins Honda to discuss our current lease which ends next year. Because we were very happy with our current Accord and apparently because we delt with a very capable sale rep (Susan) we left that day with a new Accord and a new lease. We were impressed with all involved and the facilities.

I Scheduled an on line appointment for Hopkins Honda for an oil change and got in the same day-i loved that. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpfull. She said that my car would be ready in 45 min and it was 45 min-great job.

Was in for 'B' service but also had a problem with auto transmission behavior under mild acceleration at low speed (i.e. transmission shift from low to next gear in the 20-30 mph range). Was concerned it would be hard to diagnose but tech went on a test ride and was able to understand the problem and fix it with a software upgrade. Very pleased with their ability in this regard. Hopkins Honda has always provided very courteous service and the facilities are great while waiting. Only minor disappointment in this visit was the car wasn't washed as I had asked and was told it was (either that or their car wash doesn't work worth a lick).

I brought my car to find out the reason for the mysterious noise that I could hear when slowing down and stopping. To diagnose the problem, the servicemen went for a short ride with me and was able to point out the problem right there. The service was done in no time, the service advisor explained to me everything and answered my questions. In addition a free multiple point check up was done and I was provided with some advise for the future use of my car. I am an old customer and once again experienced the great comfort at Honda dealership: clean, quiet, friendly. THANK YOU!

Overall excellent experience working with the auto salesperson. My 4 star rating for "buying process" was reduced from what otherwise would have been a 5 as a consequence of the relatively "hard sell" by the finance person about purchasing an extended warranty and windshield treatment. The quoted statistic "78% of repairs" after the original warrantee expires are for expensive electronics and the encouragement to purchase the extension had me feeling that the company is not too secure in the durability of the car they are selling. The finance person said since he wants to "do right" by his customers, he thinks I should buy it. The proposed warrantee would have extended the original from 3 yrs, 36K miles to 8 years. Had the extended warrantee covered yrs 8-12 for the same price I might have given more consideration to puchasing it. I am not adverse to accessories. For example, I purchased the clear plastic hood protection application and mud guards. While I "walked away" from buying the extended warrantee and windshield treatment, I had feelings of regret that otherwise tarnished an excellent buying experience.

I had a slow leak in a tire ever since I bought my car. I took the car in once before but they were unable to find the leak. This time I left the tire with them and they found a staple in the side wall. I was told the tire needed to be replaced. To my surprise, they replaced the tire for me at no charge.

My last appointment definitely was the best service I have received from Hopkins Honda. For the most part, I have been treated well. Except for one time when my husband and I came in the evening to have something redone on our van. We were treated very poorly by two service persons, a man and a women who ignored us for 15 minutes as we stood waiting. When we were finally addressed, it was not friendly. I was dismayed at their attitude toward us as they both knew me. If it were not for the close and convenient location, I would have stopped going to Hopkins Honda because of these two. Fortunately I decided to come back and have been treated very well by all the other service persons. The waiting room is the best;hot free beverages, plenty of seating, cookies and muffins, fruit, free Wi-Fi, and bottled water.

The Service Reps were very friendly, unfortunately the reason I brought my car in was not resolved. I told the service desk on the phone why my car was being brought in and again when I dropped off the car. After being quoted around $1500 the service person had no knowledge of my original issue. I also purchased some paint and was told it would be put in my car. I was charged for the paint and I had to go back to the service desk and ask them for it.

My recent October 13th used 2010 Honda Fit Sport was a seamless buying experience. I bought the used fit sport car of the day as it was featured there outdoors by the show room. It was love at first sight. This was a special experience as Doug Kaiser was right there as I came on sight and we walked to the Honda Fit which was custom made for me. Doug treated me like a caring old friend as I was very excited to be actually buying myself a new used car after not buying a car in twenty four years.Doug coached me through the process which was a very happy experience.I'm so glad I was in the right place at the right time. Thank you Doug Kaiser and Rudy Luther Honda. I can only rave on about how great the sale, the service is and most of all the great people who take excellent care of you for all of my car needs.

I have taken my 2009 Honda Accord in for all service to Hopkins Honda. They have always done a terrific job. Of course, since it is a Honda, they have to do little more than an oil change most of the time. They are very timely. I highly recommend their service to any Honda dealer. In fact, I also take my Lexus SUV to them since they are less expensive than the Lexus dealer.

The dealer I worked with, Janet, was a bit frazzled and tried too much to multitask. She worked with more than one customer at once which left me waiting for long periods of time while she helped someone else. The lease she presented me with had incorrect math which I had her fix. She had priced my down payment too high. It was a simple math error that someone who does this every day should not be making. When I turned in my keys to my old car and took home my new car, I got a call that evening that she couldn't find my keys. She kept calling me to say that she had looked everywhere and still couldn't find them, when they were there all along and she just wasn't communicating with those at the front desk about where they were stored. Overall, it was not the smoothest process, but I did lease my car from there in the end. I am happy with me car, but if I went back I would ask for a different person to work with.

Once again my 1995 Honda Odyssey was suffering a mechanical dilemna. It suddenly took up smoking on a recent Saturday morninng. I phoned the service department at Hopkins Honda and was greeted with a friendly voice the immediately got me connected to a service technician. I explained my situation and was instructed to bring in my vehicle as soon as possible. I was enroute to the dealership when my van decided it just couldn't continue its journey. I contacted the service tech and spoke with Jerry who connected me with a towing company that could help me get my van the remainder of the way to its destination. Upon arrival in the service department I was greeted by Jerry the technician I had spoken to and was soon in a rental vehicle and on my way again. The entire process was a pleasant experience except for the breakdown of my vehicle. The entire staff made me feel at ease with the process of getting my vehicle back to its old self.

Hopkins honda did a great job repairing my car and going over the various options. I have had my car serviced at that location for close to 10 years and would not go any where else unless they could not do the repair. They are friendly, honest and they do not talk down to you.

I went into Hopkins for some service under warranty. After they fixed the recalls on the car the technicians found about $600 worth of repairs that needed to be done. I don't know a lot about cars so I asked him to slow down and explain it all to me. They helped me understand everything that was going on and even showed me all of the broken parts as they went. They helped me rent a new CRV for free so that my day didn't go to waste. Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. The folks at Hopkins really helped make a bad day into a better one.

I bought my 'used' 2012 Honda about 8 months ago. Mike K. was extraordinarily helpful and fun to work with throughout the entire process. (I am constantly amazed at how much I love this car.) Mike's thoroughness, professionalism and customer service skills are second to none. My experience with bringing the car into Hopkins Honda for service was a continuation of the excellent work they perform at this dealership. It is obvious that it is not all about upselling the customer whenever possible, like I found previously at other area dealerships. The techs were professional, made me feel special as a customer, did the work as requested and at a fair price. The waiting room lobby is comfortably 'upscale' but relaxing. The work was done in under the estimated amount of time, so there were no surprises at all. Hopkins Honda is top-notch all the way.

After having searched for a new car for months (literally several months) and having bad experiences at other dealers, I ended up at Hopkins Honda. The salesman we worked- Rob Rychner- with was great. They initially didn't have the car I wanted, so we went and checked another dealership. The sales manager at the other dealership (It was a Walser dealership, apparently they don't find customer service to be at all important at Walser dealers) was extremely rude. I ended up contacting Rob at Hopkins Honda and had him work on a dealer trade so I could get the car I wanted. He was able to get it pretty quickly, and had it ready for pick-up quickly as well. Because of the cost of dealer trades, I ended up paying a little bit more at Hopkins (they'd have been the same price if they'd have had the car on the lot), but it was worth it to know I was buying from a company that cared about their customer service. The whole process at Hopkins was great. As a first time new car buyer, they made the process easy for me and made sure I was comfortable with everything along the way. I highly recommend Hopkins Honda and Rob Rychner for anyone looking to buy a new car!

I was afraid that I might be in for a large bill because my air conditioning had slowly declined in performance over the last two months. Mechanic was very thorough and discovered that the only problem was a large accumulation of dirt and bugs on the condenser coils. A good washing and performance was back to normal.

I bought my Honda Accord here at Luther Hopkins Honda in 2006. It was as pleasant of an experience as possible for Buying a New Car. I have had all my service with Hopkins Honda because the Pleasant Experience is still there (Speedy, Thorough, Fair Priced, Comfortable and Friendly). My latest Pleasant Experience was getting hail damage repaired on my pampered Accord. I had taken the damaged car to a body shop before bringing it to Hopkins Honda. At Honda I was more thoroughly informed to what the process would be to fix my car. I was routinely informed of the progress of the repairs and never had to call to check up on the state of the restoration. I picked up my car one day before the estimated completion date and they had removed the Golf Ball signs I had on the doors (not really, but I could have it was that bad) because it looked like a new car. It was cleaned inside and out even Armor All d the tiers. I also had a very nice car drive in the interim. I give Hopkins Honda a 5 Star all around rating. -Brad

This dealership helped me through leasing a new Honda Civic with such ease with being a recent college graduate and going through the process of leasing my first car. Great experience. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The waiting room is comfortable. The technician went over the results with me and my salesperson, Sue, was notified I was there and came over and greeted me. She asked me if I had any question about the car and she took time to help me change door lock options and link my new phone to the car system. Also, the oil change and tire rotation took less time than I was quoted.

I just went in for my oil change this time. I was in and out with and hour. When I had arrived the customer service person was right there to great me and take me to there area. It only took a few minutes to get everything in the computer and then I was sent off on my way to the waiting area for coffee and treats. The customer service person was very friendly and accommodating.

We had a dead battery (which my husbad jump-started with a battery charger) and drove the car into the service bay, Jerry, the service advisor, agreed that I should leave the car running while he did the paper work. In less than a hour, with no appointment, we left the dealer with a new battery and a washed car! Great service!

I get my car serviced at Luther Hopkins Honda and I always have a wonderful experience. THey are super nice and thorough, explaining the entire process and what they need to do. Also the waiting area is great, water, coffee, tea, and cookies, plus lots of places to sit and read while I wait.

Luther Hopkins Honda always have given me great service. I have been buying and having my cars serviced there for 13 years. They listen to my concerns and they have always been considerate and reassuring me that all is well. I have taken the cars in when I need to have the car checked when I have been going on a long trip. They have checked it with no charge!! As a single woman this is a great comfort to me to have a place I can trust to take my car to.

Hopkins Honda has serviced my Civic since I purchased it from them in 2006. They have consistently been courteous, efficient, and knowledgable. I always wait in their comfortable waiting area while service is being done, drinking coffee, eating a snack, using their computer, reading the paper...it is a very pleasant experience.

I just took my 2010 Honda in because a blower problem. I have owned my car less than 3 years. The blower motor resister was faulty. I contacted the Honda dealership (outside of MN at 1-800 #) and spoke with someone with regards to this; and he documented the problem and if I have a future problem with a piece of equipment to contact him. When the motor resistor was replaced at Hopkins Honda, I was given 10% off which was kind, however, it is because I am unemployed. It is true that my car is over the guaranteed mileage; however, I still think that this gentleman at the main dealership could have made it better with me; maybe pay for half ... however, before I could approach him with this, he was no longer on the phone. This faulty motor was not of my doing, it was a Honda piece of equipment. Signed, Unhappy. The customer service at Honda in Hopkins was very good. The gentleman I spoke with at the main dealership for Honda could have done more for the customer.

I brought my 2003 Honda accord in to be looked at as I seemed like it was not running as smooth as usual. It has about 140,000 miles on it and I was going to make a trip to Chicago so I was a little anxious about it. The service tech road tested and checked the car and found no issues. The car was fine and made the trip to and from Chicago with no problems. I am impressed because the service tech was honest and did not come up with a list of repairs/replacements that needed to be done. Everyone at the dealership is friendly and efficient. The service department is right there to check you in when you arrive and they are pleasant and courteous. I rented a car (which is a great serivice) and went back to work but I know that the waiting room is also clean and comfortable if you need to wait for your car.

I was not disappointed. They were very helpful in the entire process, from picking the car, to deciding whether to lease or purchase. Purchased a new Honda Pilot 4 weeks ago, taking delivery on the vehicle prior to the additional accessories being added. The week after taking delivery, the accessories were installed. Unfortunately, the 3M nose mask was not installed correctly - both an incomplete job as far as the area where film was applied and a poor application (air bubbles in under the film). I noticed this when I picked the vehicle up, but was told by the service representative that he couldn't help me because he 'knows nothing about this product' (that they are presumably in charge if having installed?). I was directed to go back to my salesperson. My salesperson apologized and assured me it would be corrected. However 2+ weeks later, and several voicemail messages back and forth with the dealership manager, they can't provide a date to schedule the re-application. FAIL.

The atmosphere is very friendly/not pushy and the salesman we worked with was very attentive and helpful. We were trying to get out of an expensive car purchase and get a lease for a cheaper payment. They were straighforward with us about what this would entail and we got a car we could afford and were happy with. They also do a good job at following up re: the car we purchased and they even issue plates right there. No need to drive back to pick them up or wait for the mail. We didn't have kids with us but they seem to have a good kids' waiting/play area in case you're there for the long haul.

Everything with service department has been good to very good. One little annoyance sometimes is whether calling on the phone or at the dealership in person, sometimes it takes quite a while to get to speak to a service tech regarding questions about repairs or the cars performance. I do understand they get busy with many customers.

I am greatly impressed by the excellent services offered and business integrity conducted by the service department in my last couple of visits. Our car's trunk spring was broken last December and fixed by replacement of a new spring. Since the replacement had been in place, a rattling noise started to emit from the trunk. The noise was getting louder and louder until we were no long to put up with. We brought the car to Luther Hopkins Honda. After the careful inspection, the technician figured out the problem... the spring was not properly installed. Then they fixed the problem with no charge within a couple of hours!!! And the customer representative friendly explained it to us honestly. We are impressed by their business integrity. Here is another our dealership experience at Luther Hopkins Honda... We had our regular maintenance done in this May. A couple of weeks later after the service, we've noticed some yellowish liquid leaking seems from the passenger side. We brought to the dealer for inspection and repair. They examined the car very carefully and found no leaking. The customer representative friendly explained that the residual oil after changing the filter oil might be causing the problem. They didn't charge me this time again! Their commitment to customer satisfaction makes us very confident to continue our dealership with Luther Hopkins Honda.

I got this letter from Honda that my Honda Civic 2001 was in a Recall List for Airbag Inflator Issues, they had suggested to contact the nearest retailer to get this fixed. I contacted Luther Hopkins Honda on May 24th and they fixed an appointment for May 31 to get this done. I get a reminder mail on 30th for the appointment. I reach Luther on 31st and they tell me they never ordered the part required for this fix and they wont be able to fix the car. I had gone during my work lunch hour for this, they didnt had the courtesy to call me beforehand postponing or cancelling this appointment. They told me they will order the part and they will call me when it arrives, they had my phone number. Again I didnt hear from them for next few days. So I called them myself asking for the part, they confirmed it was delivered and said I can come and get the work done. I had got work done there before and they were never so lacklusture. The only thing I can assume is - No Money, No service for Luther Hopkins. I expected better from them and they disappointed me big time. I was thinking of getting a new car from there, but I have changed my mind.

I had aftermarket wheels on my car which they gladly swapped over to the new car as part of the deal. The salesman was friendly and down to earth. I bought a used 08 Ridgeline in Aug of 2012. Buying experince was fantastic. Very frinedly people not pushy and once I decided to purchase I was conastanly kept up to date while at the dealership on the staus of the paper work, loan and when the vehicle would be ready throught the hour. The airlines should take not of this. Just had my oil changed and tires rotated. Again great facility as I got some work done on my computer while wating for the service. Car was washed and everyone was very friendly and actually seemed sincere. This is the way a dealership should be run!

Kyle- My response is two-fold- First- We have always had superb service at Hopkins Honda. I believe this email was auto-generated after our last service call for a recall on our Pilot. It was handled quickly and without issue by A.C. We have been taken care of by A.C. and Chai on most of our visits. They have always been courteous and knowledgeable. We appreciate your service team first and foremost but your facility is always clean and inviting, which makes our experience pleasant. Our appointments always run on time or quicker than promised. Secondly, we would like to tell you about our last visit to your dealership. It was this past Saturday and we are happy to let you know we now have two Honda vehicles in our driveway. Vern Pettis was our salesman on our 2010 Pilot a few years ago. Vern was recommended by our friends. Vern did not disappoint us. We went in looking originally at the CR-V at the time but we decided the Pilot fit our needs better. Vern provided us with valuable information and answered all our questions. We had not intended to buy a vehicle that day. Verns excellent no pressure salesmanship along with his knowledge of the product he was selling provided us with all the information we needed and did not have to look any further. He handled our trade in (Toyota Prius) fairly without any haggling. Our other vehicle was a 2010 Toyota Highlander. We have always felt that the Toyota never lived up to the quality of our Honda Pilot. Furthermore the service and maintenance we experienced at Toyota also fell short of our experience at Hopkins. We Recently had costly service work done on our Toyota and again the service department fell short. My wife and I decided that now might be the time to visit Vern for a second time. We met Vern Saturday morning and explained our situation. He handled our needs professionally and completely. Our trade in was given fair value without any haggling. The paperwork side of the new car purchase was also handled smoothly. I believe Dan was the person who helped us move through the paperwork. He was well organized and knowledgeable. Vern spent the better part of the day with my wife and family. We test drove the CR-V and looked at options and colors of the vehicles on the lot. We decided on a Crystal Black AWD CR-V EX-L. Part of the sales experience that sets Hopkins apart is the time the salespeople spend delivering the vehicle. Vern was diligent in explaining all the details and features of our new Honda. He set up XM stations and helped Karen sink her phone with the cars Bluetooth. He was continually wiping off stray water droplets that appeared or an occasional spot of wax left by the buffers. We were treated like you should be treated when making a large purchase such as a new car. Verns thoroughness and curbside manner are impeccable. Vern has a passion for what he sells and is the best we have ever encountered in the Twin Cities. From new VWs to GMCs and Chevys to Toyotas we have a pretty broad experience with dealerships in the Twin Cities. They have all left us disappointed except Hopkins Honda. We see the same quality people at your dealership year after year which is a statement in itself to how you treat your employees. Your products have brought us back for our second Honda and we will recommend Honda vehicles and of course your dealership to our friends. We hope that this letter travels up the ranks at Luther. I've been a Hopkin's Honda customer for more than 15 years. I only buy Honda cars ... and always at Hopkin's Honda. I service my Honda at Hopkin's Honda only. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's the cleanest facility I've experienced. A perfect place for people who work full time ... I do late evening appointments, and can get work done in the comfortable waiting area with free wireless. Everyone who works there is top-notch in terms of responsiveness and expertise.

The #1 reason I bought my new Accord at Hopkins Honda was the service department. I serviced my 99 Accord there for over 10 years and Jerry and Chai knew my car better than i did. There have been several appointments that I have set up for service and the person who scheduled the apt told me the apt would take way, way less time than was actual. One time was over an hour. I have owned only Hondas for the last 25 years and I would think they could communicate the expected time more accurately. I cannot tell you how many wasted hours I have spend in your waiting room because the scheduler told me the wrong time. I am a very, very busy person and cannot afford down time. if I had known the accurate time I could have made arrangements. I am very disappointed (3 times this has happened) and no one seems to care that I have been inconveniened. My guess is being a 25+ year Honda owner does not matter. I would expect something from Honda other than an apology. I wiould recommend this dealer to buy but NEVER to service. Not good. Not customer oriented. Their comment was "we are very busy and even when you have an apt we don't know when we will get to your car". My time is my most precious commodity and this service dept does not respect that. I need to know exactly how long my apt will be. The last visit was a recall and they should have been unusually accomodating since I purchased the 2013 Accord in November. I have been dealing with Hopkins Honda for nearly 10 years for preventive maintenance on my 03 Odyssey. They have consistently treated me as extremely well and have always made me feel that they really appreciated my business. The service department always makes recommendations for service but there is never any pressure if I choose to delay the recommendation. THIS IS COUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST!!! I now live about 65 miles from Hopkins and there are several other Honda Dealers closer to me home. However when I made the decision to purchase a new CR-V, the first place I returned to was Hopkins Honda. Peggy Sue made the purchase experience the most pleasent and satisfying that I have ever experienced. There was no high-pressure tactics during the sale or at closing. Just good honest respectful conversation about what was & was not possible. I did check other Honda dealers before finalizing the purchase and sadly, I did not receive the "Customer Appreciation" from the other sales reps. It was OK but not outstanding. The bottom line is that when I decided to purchase, I happily traveled the extra distance to a dealer that has always gone out of their way to meet my needs and make me feel important!!! I've purchased a number of new cars over the years but this experience and dealership are "Head and Shoulders" above the rest.

I recieved a recall on my Honda, made an appointment, was greeted by a helpful rep and got my car in to get the part replaced. After 75 minutes I saw my car was done, washed (yeah!) and parked in the 'completed' area ahead of schedule as I was told it would be 2 hours. I asked the rep if the car was ready. He replied "just need to get the paperwork" done so please wait in the lobby for your service agent to call your name. 15 minutes later I asked the accounts payable gal if my car was done. She said not processed yet. I asked her again 10 minutes later, now 25 minutes after I saw the mechanic place may car in the complete lot. Still no. Finally some other gal hands me my cars and I'm off after 30 minutes. Is it 1970 or are we in an age where it takes a few clicks and done? While I don't claim to work in the auto service industry, I do expect good service. This was not a good experience. Do service agents exist at Hopkins Honda? I didn't see one.

This was my first car in 16yrs....Never had a Honda but I did my homework and visited 5 different car dealers and brands of cars....Sue was my first at Hopkins Honda and after a few weeks went back to her to buy my car. She was great to work with and no pressure....My car buying experience with her was excellent! Every time I called her for info she was right there. From what I hear from other Honda owners, I made a good choice. I would definitly reccomend Hopkins Honda and Sue Lano as your sales agent.

I would definitely buy from Luther Honda again. The experience was pleasant and pressure free. Janet was wonderful...if she wasn't able to answer a question she knew where to go to get the answers! Everyone we cam into contact with was pleasantly positive! We got a fair deal on our trade in and a competitive price on our new car.

We have been Honda customers for several years through leasing vehicles. We recently purchased the 2013 Pilot and had a positive experience. Our sales person was Cody Wright and she was responsive, helpful, accessible through the whole process (which started several months back). I like Hopkins Honda because they are low key, knowledgeable and friendly. The surprise to us was the extended warranty sales pitch. That is where we spent the most decision making time! However, our closer was not pushy on this either - just informative. My only advice is to research warranties ahead of time so you are prepared and able to make the best decision.

I've just purchasd my second Honda Civic in the last 2 years from Luther Hopkins. The first was in 2012 (A 2011 for my college son). I liked the car so much, when I needed a replacement, I purchased a 2013 LX for me. The customer service as a whole was virtually seamless, and my repeat purchase was with the same salesman, whom I am quite satisfied with. I'd just received a letter from the dealer offering a $50 referral bonus if I referred another friend or family menber and they purchased a car. It sticks in my craw a bit that the finance manager refused to allow me to recoup the $50 bonus... The first car was in my name, but for my son.... the second was for me.... I could have simply had my wife put the car in her name, but why should a repeat customer have to go to that silly legnth? Really.

I went in for an oil change and a recall. When that work was about done Amanda Mudge from service came to tell me that the technician recommended a new battery and new wiper blades. She gave me the estimated extra cost and time it would take. I so appreciated them asking if I wanted the work done then as opposed to having to make another appointment. Also it was nice that they checked other things out not just doing the work I was there to have done. Everyone there was nice and helpful and not at all pushy about getting things done. And the car wash was very much appreciated.

Surprised to find out they will service Acuras. I normally drive 16 miles to a Acura Dealer. Hopkins Honda is 3 miles from my house. They serviced my Acura quickly and for less then Acura. I bought and serviced my Hondas here as well.

I have been a hohpkins Honda customer for 11 years. My buying experience in 2002 was excellent; service on the 2002 vehicle was done at Hopkins Honda throughout the time I owned the vehicle. Service staff were always courteous, helpful, emphathetic and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. One of the primary reasons for buying the 2013 Honda CRV from this dealership is due to service, as well as the low key sales approach. In purchasing this vehicle, I placed a phone call to the dealer and asked for new sales. I ordered my vehicle over the phone (I had been looking at the newer CRVs for several years in the showoom, had talked to a number of sales reps over time) and could have taken delivery same day, but opted for 2 days later. The entire process was quick, efficient, painless. Everyone involved with the sale/delivery was professional, courteous, willing to go the extra mile and always smiling! It is my intent to continue to do business with Hopkins Honda until I no longer drive, or move from the area. I highly recommend this dealership!

For over ten years Hopkins Honda has been providing service to my Accord which now has over 210,000 miles. The Service Advisors in the garage, personnel working the check out counter, and the manager who stepped in without being asked after an unexpected delay in completing my service, have exemplified excellent customer service. I just purchased my second car from Paul Anderson at Hopkins Honda. He has been wonderful to work with both times. Paul is patient and not pushy. He spent a lot of time with me over two visits and test drives. When I left voice messages, he got back to me promptly. He made both experiences very pleasant and easy. A second reason I went back to Hopkins Honda was because of the service I received over the 5 years I owned my first Hopkins car. I could always get right in for service and was treated respectfully by everyone I came in contact with. We older women don't always get that. I came to trust that I wouldn t be told I needed work I didn't need when I told them to replace my three year old battery. After checking it out, they told me I didn t need a new one. I have had nothing but positive experiences at Hopkins Honda. I would especially recommend them for older women who want to be treated respectfully and not taken advantage of.

Bought my first Honda here in May 2012. Paul Anderson was my sales rep. He loved working with him because he was really honest and straight forward, no surprises. He also did not pressure me or become forceful. He let me take my time to think through things. They also matched the price of another dealer. I was very happy. Brought my Civic in because a oil smell when the floor heat was on. There turned out to be nothing wrong with the car. It was the aftermarket rubber floor mat that stunk. I didn't believe the service rep at first and persisted that the floor mat could not produce the smell of oil. But I smelled the floor mat when I got home and found it was indeed the problem. I felt stupid, considering I often fix my own car. But they were really nice, appeared to thoroughly investigate the issue, and solved the mystery. They were great to work with.

Once I entered the dealership, I stood in the lobby for about 5 minutes before anybody recognized my existence. The personel I interacted with seemed quite professional, but not all. Was introduced to the vehicle of my choice and was given enough time to drive and evaluate vehicle. New Car Sales Rep., was Highly Exceptional and Professional. Purchasing was average, but I felt I was being a bother during the loan/paperwork process by the Loan Closer, which was not a good feeling (should I come back another day). A general final overview of vehicle dashboard instrumentation operation of technical gadgets by a Vehicle Overview Technician (whom seemed snippy) was a bit to overwhelming, but expected with new technology going into vehicles these days.

This is our 3rd vehicle we have bought from Hopkins Honda and probably will not be the last. The staff at the dealership has been very helpful and very accommadating to our family.The vehicle prices are a little high but we have had very good luck with all 3 vehicles that we have bought there. We continue to get the car/van serviced at Hopkins as well. The staff seem quick but very thourough with the upkeep of our vehicles. We do recommend Hopkins Honda to our friends.

Bought 4 new tires and had them installed. Honda had the tires listed on their website for less than what Discount Tires quoted. I also went ahead and had them aligned which DT does not do. With the alignment, it ended up being $50 more than what DT would have charged without an alignment. Process took a total of 2 hours. Overall I am happy with the cost and the service.

I bought a 2013 Accord from this dealership last October. My salesperson (Peggy Sue) was very easy to deal with: not pushy but kept in touch with me during the months that I was deciding. They were easy to deal with regarding price. They have a new car seminar for owners that was very helpful. I have used this dealership for service for my previous Honda and appreciate their professionalism and knowledge + their hours of service. I recently took off the bottom half of my side view mirror (through my own stupidity!) and Jerry (service) and the parts dept were able to save me money by only replacing the housing and not the whole mirror. Because they had to recalibrate the camera and had not had to do that before, they only charged me half of the labor charge because it took longer because it was new to them. I highly recommend this dealer.

The process of getting a car was fine. They were patient and answered all of my questions (multiple times as they realize you have a lot of numbers bouncing around when looking for a new car). One flaw I found is that the finance department was hard to reach... I applied for financing and got a call with no details and then could not get a hold of that person again. I finally went to the general finance department and they looked up my information. From then on it was helpful!

I got this new 2013 CR-V on 12/29/12, and have added ~800 miles since. Then we ran into a bizarre situation on 1/23/13. The battery is suddenly drained during the day and has no power to start the vehicle. The vehicle has been on two 4-mile daily trips to school for a couple of days including one in that morning. The light is set on auto and everything is shut properly. (The driver has OCD and will spend up to an hour to make sure everything is in the right order each time.) The only change made after purchase was to have Best Buy install an after-market remote starter. (Best Buy is the contracted dealer for starter for Walser Honda.) We were in a crisis type of situation. The kid was waiting at school to be picked up by this vehicle and I was traveling 1500 miles away. Its 5 PM in the evening and -10 F degree. The biggest concern is something happen to the kid. Fortunately Hopkins Honda has shuttle service (free) for its customer. Jerry offered to use their shuttle to pick up the kid. The driver Ron gracefully did so. We were so grateful that they did that. I rushed back the following morning and jump started the vehicle. Hopkins Honda did a thorough diagnose and couldnt identify anything wrong, including the starter. Well have to keep monitor the situation and hope it doesnt occur again. Overall, we are very grateful that Hopkins Honda and specifically the consultant Jerry helped us diverted the crisis for the kid.

I only bring my car to Kara Roberts at hopkins honda. I have brought my two previous cars to her. I feel that I am getting the best service ever. It's quick, if I need a shuttle ride to work they provide it. Kara makes me feel welcome with her friendly outgoing personality. She explains in details so I can understand what is wrong with my car and what needs to be fixed. I have been with other friends to places like tires plus and they had more problems after they got their car back. This would never happen with Kara. Rob, the sales guy, and all the staff at the dealership were attentive but not meddling with us. They made the process of buying painless and instructed us fully about our new vehicle. They answered our questions, anticipated our questions, and brought up some really good points of interest for us. We traded in a vehicle and they did not finagle and discuss and cogitate in such a way to make us feel captured and uncomfortable. They were reasonable about what they could do and flexible and friendly, but business-like. We have hated the car-buying experience at other dealerships, but this was our second experience with these guys and they are superb. We really appreciated not seeing a fraternity-like environment with men AND women and an environment that is customer-focused in the truest sense.....not just getting you to the sale and making you feel preyed upon. The same was true of the finance office and the general tone of the place.....comfortable, like real people, not plastic. These guys are keepers. If you are potentially looking at Honda products, you have to try these guys out. You will not regret it.

My most recent purchase was made through Jamie in the sales deptartment. If you are looking to buy, I would highly recomend contacting her. She is knowledgable, thorough, fast to turn around needed information and very honest. ...and for me, fun. With the line of work I do, I understand the importance of product knowledge and customer service. Hands down, Hopkins Honda understands this as well.

I bought my Accord from Hopkins in the fall of 2007 and have all of my service done there since. Without exception, service has been completed before the estimated time. All of the employees have been friendly and helpful. I trust Hopkins Honda not to pressure me for repairs I don't need. When my car was three years old, I told them to put in a new battery. After testing it, they told me it didn't need replacing. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

We had a great experience working with Leonard on the purchase of a new 2013 Honda CR-V. We traded in a Jeep Liberty and were looking to decide between a CR-V and a Pilot and even though the cost of the CR-V was much less, Leonard helped us come to the proper decision that the CR-V was the right needs for our family. Leondard made the process as easy as could be, stayed late to help show us all the features and even called us a few days later to thank us for our business and check in on how things were going. We felt very comfortable through the entire process and will use this dealership for our service needs in the future. We would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car!

I purchased a 2013 Accord for Susan Lano. She was awesome! The car had a glitch with the radio so delivery was delayed. The radio was fixed but the final software fix won't be available till January. (Not Luther's fault). I do really love the car, and will buy from Luthers again as their customer service goes beyond anything I was expecting. Look up Susan Lano if you want an A+ buying experience. Service was on top of the radio issue and called me at least once a day to keep me up to date on the repairs. Luthers has gone beyond our expectations in customer service!

It is refreashing to be treated as more than a sale at a dealer and Peggy Sue welcomed me and made a stressful morning a real treat. I also can say that Bob in the finance office made the leasing process as painless as I can remember. I knew I wanted a 2013 Accord, and used Hopkins Honda for nearly the entire service and maintenance of my previous Accord. I was hoping that this dedicated relationship on my part would translate into a better buying experience than it did. I was trying to trade in my previous Accord, but Hopkins Honda gave me a low-ball trade-in allowance which caused me to sell to a private party. I understand dealerships will try to make money on the traded vehicles, but I didn't feel the offer was a fair offer considering the overall condition of my car and the dealership knew the entire 10 year history of my car's service, maintenance, and very limited repairs. I would recommend this dealer had the trade-in offer been more acceptable, but will not at this time. The salesman was friendly and helpful, the dealership is clean and modern (but doesn't really stand out with ammenities), and the service department and people helping there are great.

Went to this dealer to service my used Fit. They are more focused on emailing me than discussing symptoms face to face. Common repairs took 2 days to get parts, and their shop rate is $$. If you are peristent they will repair the porblems eventually.

The service area is bright and clean. Angie the service tech got back to me with a detailed description of what needed to be fixed and the timeline of the repair. My car was fixed and ready in the time promised. As a female customer, I appreciate female techs there. The cashier when I picked up the car was friendly. I also received a follow up email ensuring everything was okay. I've waited in the service area in prior visits and it has enough room to accomedate customers, with seating options. Clean waiting room along with clean bathrooms.

I took my Honda CRV for a Wheel alignment and few technical issue with the dashboard. I met Chai and AC hecker at the Service Desk and from that moment i was treated like REAL CUSTOMER which is hard to find these days. Their service , Follow ups is Exceptional and they go that extra mile to make it Happen. My repair was estimated for about a day or few days and before even i asked about options AC offered that he will handle everything from providing a rental care at NO fee till my car gets fixed. I came in to get help on removing license plates to add the new ones and the service man heard a weird noise coming from my brakes. He felt they needed to be checked which the service dept. was able to do right away. All was O.K. but I do so appreciate his calling this problem to my attention and explaining what I need to do in the future. I give the service dept. a 5!

Last week I had my Honda Accord in for service at Hopkins Honda. Overall they did a good job but I was not happy with one aspect of the experience. I told the service advisor that a warning light was on for the ABS system. I asked if they could give me an estimate of the cost to fix that. She explained that it would be $78 for a technician to get the fault codes out of the computer in the vehicle. I told her that it seems excessive to charge $78 just to get some fault codes out of the vehicle. It seems like an excessive charge. I declined to have the technician do that work and the dealership lost the opportunity to conduct that repair. I just don't see any value for me in that up-front charge. As a result of this experience I'm evaluating whether to continue to have my vehicles serviced at this dealership.

I brought my 2004 civic in to Hopkins Honda to have a loud noise under the hood looked at. I was fearful of the overall cost and what damage had been done. My Service Advisor Donna understood my situation and made sure I fully understood what was happening with my car. She got me a free loaner for the time my car was going under the knife. Each step of the way she updated me as to what they were finding, the possible costs and ensuring I agreed to the work before anything waws done. In the end they came in below estimate and I was extremely happy. We have bought cars from Hopkins Honda before and I always take my vehicles there for service.

went in for "A-1" maintenance they evidence of an oil leak in the engine. but couldn't find it. no charge for the time spent looking. the waiting room was very comfortable.

Number one, I look for quality in my vehicle. Hondas have been my favorite car for many yeaqrs. I value quality in service re proper diagnosis, protection and standing by the work you do. The reputation of the dealership grows with good customer service that continues to be consistent. I appreciate having fair estimates of cost -- and do appreciate the extras you do with oil changes as I want may car to last. And when the service rep looks up a coupon I missed on line and adds it...I won't have to go back to Jiffy Lube!

They were able to find a airbag inflator part and fix a recall on my van, rather than order it and have me come back at a later date.

Always great service and clean, pleasant facilities. I pay more for service here than going anywhere else because of the extra amenities - a car wash, topping off fluids, checking air pressure, a nice waiting room, friendly people, coffee, water, cookies, and tv. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I felt like the service manager didn't like to hear what was wrong with the car through customer complaints and he kept telling me that he could not do anything about the situation if the light did not stay on. I also do not find him trustworthy when he says that the car was fine. Good car but bad services.

Customer service is always excellent. Amanda Mudge was the service rep on this visit. She was pleasant, efficient and explained all facets of the oil change/check up. As always, customer service and actual service were excellent.

I bought 2009 Honda Accord,it was a great experience to go and look for variety of cars..they have a good customer service and they gave me a good deal..They have variety of alternatives to choose and help in financing too..I would recommend everyone to go and check the car that you are looking for specially if you are looking Honda or Nissan..they have great deals!!!thanks

Great experience! Their no haggling policy has made it a pleasure to do buisness. I have always been leary of car salsemen but was not with this experience and I absolutely love my vehicle. They also offer free follow up seminars that teach you everything you need to know about your vehicle (dinner included, and a gas card!)
