My wife Bought an 09 Chevy Traverse and we have had nothing but problems. When she 1st took it back they just unplugged the Battery and said it should be good. But it wasn't, we have had the Ball joints replaced with a Major tune up as that's what a mechanic said it was, that didn't work. Chevy said it was modules and would cost us 2,500. So I went back to the dealer to see about getting into another car, he couldn't help and sent us to his mechanic Mikes Auto in Bellflower who changed us $1700 for New Cat converters, 10 months later I get this from George Chevrolet.. Good morning.The results of compression check are not favorable.The average lbs per cylinder should be around 150-160..cylinder 1=45,cylinder 2=60,cylinder 3=60,cylinder 4=130,cylinder 4=50,cylinder 6=55.Most likely the timing chain and/or chains have stretched/failed(3 chains).Engine replacement is in reality the only way to go.$4498.62 parts,$3600.00 labor,tax $461.00.Also your battery is weak--$200.00.I believe you told me you had your catalytic convertors replace elsewhere recently?.catalytic codes still exist.$1998.00 to replace both banks.Engine and cats would have to be ordered and would be received by next Wednesday.Let me know or call me w/any questions.. They sold us a lemon we still owe $6000 on.. BEWARE

To be honest I've always been leary of these small auto sales places. I visited a few and did not get a good feeling when I looked at the quality of the used trucks and spoke with the salespeople/owners. I was looking for a truck for my father-in-law. I saw one advertised at Horizon and my wife and I decided to take a look. From the very beginning Ehab made us feel comfortable. There were no high pressure sales tactics and he gave us 100% of his attention. He answered all of our questions and then some. After we felt comfortable enough we called my father-in-law to come look at the truck. Ehab patiently answered all of the questions again. Negotiations were friendly and simple. We were able to purchase it below the KBB value. One of my biggest concerns was driving off the lot and the truck breaking down. He included a warranty for us as well as showing all of the receipts of the work done to it. Peace of mind is priceless. After we took posession of the truck we noticed a little issue. He went out of his way to get it fixed and paid out of his own pocket for it. This was somethnig that was not expected but very much appreciated. I'm still leary of most of these small used car lots but I guarantee you I will always check Horizon's inventory any time I am looking for a used vehicle. The peace of mind that Ehab gives you with your purchase makes it all worth it.
