So when it was time for me to get another car, there was no question that I was going to come back to Huggard & Ewing. My brother searched through their inventory online and found a variety of cars that he thought would be good for me and, more importantly, were safe cars! When I came in for my appointment I was able to test drive a few of the cars that my brother had pointed out to me, and my salesman Jon, was eventually able to help me find the perfect vehicle. I found this dealership online and saw that they had a lot to offer within my price range. When I came to check them out in person I saw a sleek looking Jeep Patriot in the front line of their lot that immediately caught my eye. After Reggie put me on a couple test drives with a few different SUVs, I came to a conclusion that the Patriot was the one for me. It fit all of my needs and the price and mileage couldn't be beat. I found the exact car that I wanted on their website and was then contacted by Chris, the internet director, to schedule a test drive. I found this dealership on Autotrader and narrowed down the selection that they had based on mileage. I came in to check them out and was introduced to my salesman, Jon. He was such a great guy and didn't pressure me at all while I was finding which car would suit all of my needs. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the trucks. Trucks in that great of condition at a used car dealership are really hard to come by, especially with this being the 4 wheel drive season! I would highly recommend them! This dealership is the only place that I will go to for cars. I bought my last car here and also brought my son here to get his car and have received nothing short of perfection. So when it came time for me to get a new car I went straight to their website. I saw that they had a great F150 that was priced perfectly. It's not too often that you come across a truck like that so I jumped on it at the first chance that I got. During my visit I worked with Reggie for the second time. My transaction was not an easy one. I didn't walk in with perfect credit, a lot of money down and a history of experience buying cars. I dealt with Chris on the internet my first impression was not a good one. I didn't get a call back for day's. I finally went in and I dealt directly with the sales manger.I can't say it was a quick transaction but I have to say she didn't give up. The next week was a .roller coaster of emotions. I didn't think I would be driving the Ram truck I wanted so bad. My friend and my mother named her super woman. She ran around that place doing everything and MAKING IT HAPPEN . All she asked me to do was leave a review she said people only leave reviews when there not happy about something.. The least I can do is go on here and tell how happy and thankful I am. . I can't say the same for the salesman. He did nothing but answer my e-mail ONCE.. I would and will recommend family and friends though. I am very happy, great truck, low miles, good price and a beautiful sales manager to look at. why go anywhere else. ,

I realize that I am going to get a "canned" response to this review, but that's fine. I know what happened here, and I am sharing. Do yourself a favor and read this. Extremely angry and VERY DISAPPOINTED!! My son purchased a Dodge Ram with very low miles, nice looking and was told at the sale, "What could go wrong with this truck??" We made the trip 6 hours away to buy this truck to come home and find out that it had MANY safety issues. It needed a new right front axle, which was replaced by a local Dodge dealer, through the 90 day, costing us $100. The gas gauge does not work, needs front shocks, alignment, 4 new tires, 2 of them (2/23"),struts, and front brake pads and roters!!! The truck which was also said to be totally clean with no rust, had a large area of the body that is rusted right through and well concealed, which was not even discussed by me. I was more concerned with the safety of the truck. I called and had several nice discussions with mechanic, Chris, who TOTALLY understood my dilemma. He said that we would work together and try to come up with a solution that would work for both of us considering distance and travel. This estimate of was from a certified Dodge Ram dealer in New York State. I was asked to get a second opinion from a local garage to see if the first one was correct and if the price could be lowered. I then submitted the next estimate and it was the same problems and price more reasonable. Chris did say that the owner had to make the decision. The owner gave me a call and put a stop to any consideration what so ever, other than drive an unsafe vehicle 6 hours back to his garage and that he would give me a good deal to fix all of this. He apparently took no responsibility for selling a $23,000 vehicle in this condition. Ethically, this is VERY, VERY WRONG!!!! What is even more disturbing is the "safe rating" on this truck. Nice to know that my son drove home in an unsafe vehicle for 6 hours and now has to be fixed. I was told in my discussion with the mechanic, "Don"t worry, we don't leave people hanging." !!! Bottom line is the owner has himself totally covered and that's all that matters. Untrustworthy and ethically VERY, VERY WRONG!! Too bad what was suppose to be a really exciting experience owning his first truck that he worked very hard for and always wanted, turned out to be this huge mess!!

They had switched out new Firestone tires for new Linglong tires when i picked up the car. Pretty shady but i supposed it's my fault for not checking before I drove off the lot. I feel a bit slighted, I gave you my baby so I could get a more family friendly car. These cheap tires are VERY far from family friendly.

I recently purchased a ford fusion from this dealer. When brought in for the finance paperwork I specifically told Susan I did not want any of their 900 dollar worthless packages. She pushed and I made it clear I didn't want them, she then proceeded to try to rush me out the door, I assumed because she wasn't going to be able to get any extra money out of me.Low and behold I have been signed up for a 900 dollar gap coverage that does nothing for my car. I received no copies of the paperwork until I went to pick up the vehicle. Upon reviewing them I found that I had gap coverage. I do not remember signing this, it doesn't look like my signature, and it's dated a day I was not there.Not to even mention the fact it took them an additional 5 days more than they said to get the car to me.UPDATE: Since posting this review, I have received an offer from them for $516.36 in exchange for removing my negative reviews of them. I think it is a terrible practice to pay someone to remove their honest reviews, so obviously I did not accept this offer. It makes me question how many negative reviews may have been removed for payment and the legitimacy of all their positive reviews.

I bought an SUV in December, week later check engine light went on, took it back to them and got it back 40 days later!! Another week passed another check engine light issue and again I went another 2 weeks without the car!! On top of that it took me 9months to get floor mats for my suv, after weekly calls for 9months straight I finally got them. They were for a 4 door sedan! Horrible company. Deceitful employees. They sell lemons and lie!!!

After looking around for three weeks with no luck having a bank financing me, I was able to find the car I wanted in a newer year at a better price than the other competitors I was looking at . I went in the next day to look at the car I wanted and signed papers and two days later I was driving off in my new car. They made everything quick and easy and were able to find me a bank to finance my new car. I highly recommend this dealership. They really try to work with you and have a great cars!

Found the car I was searching for and at a great price reviews for dealership were pretty good and the fact they have been open for so long made us feel comfortable with buying from them. We put a deposit down to hold the car as we live 3 hrs north and the next day we could make it was Sunday, 4 days away. Drove down, test drove the van and was ready to move forward left our finance application excited about the car. All went south from there, called several times on Monday to try to get ahold of someone when we did they had no info on time frame for the car to be put through the shop or our application to be processed. Called Tuesday morning saying we had the day off and could come down and sign paperwork but was told they couldn't be sure we would be seen because they were busy but would TRY to call us back later. Called Wednesday emailed Chris white saying were frustrated but still interested in moving forward asking if he could help move things along for us. but still reply or info, gave up calling haven't heard from anyone since. We've since found another car were going to look at this weekend. I have never been made to feel like my business didn't matter at a dealership I have no idea how they've stayed open with customer service like what we've received.

Before I get to the negatives, let me first say that they have nice, low mileage, and well-priced vehicles on their lot. Not only that, they are willing to negotiate on prices, which makes car shopping a little more fun. That being said, they were not very organized at all. I went to pick up my car that I paid cash for, not financed, and when I got there nothing was ready. My registration wasn't ready, papers I needed to sign weren't ready, they were kind of all over the place & what should've been a quick stop-and-grab of my car took nearly an hour. Then, to make matters worse, I had problems with my car the very first time I went to start it after leaving the lot! I found myself back there for a few hours on that very same day, waiting on a new battery and starter. Everyone was nice, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I should not have problems with a fairly new car the day I purchase it. Additionally, there were no fluids at all in my car; there was a minimal amount of antifreeze and no wiper fluid at all. Sure, I can handle that stuff on my own, but I expected a bit more based on the reviews I'd read. All that being said, I really love my car and am happy that the deal is overwith.

I searched up and down the East Coast and the exact model I wanted was at Huggard & Ewing with the best mileage and the lowest price. I'd never done business with an independent used car dealer before - especially two states away and I was nervous about it. Talked to Chris on the phone and when I called back - he was busy and Susan answered. So she took over. Made the deal - no surprises - got the financing and figured out how to work it so we could transport and register in Maine....having never sold a car to someone there before. We drove down - they were incredibly helpful and all of my worries about dealing with an independent dealer were groundless....at least with Huggard & Ewing. I found Huggard & Ewing on cars.com. I drove from Derry nh to see an explorer without a reserve. The truck was gone 30 min after they opened. I asked them to keep me in mind if they get another explorer in, and 2 day later they called. The truck was everything I was looking for. They automatically replace all of the front brakes before I drove it. I requested a transmission clean out before buying the truck, which they did. They were very good to my wife who went there for service. I recently decided that I wanted to buy my own car. I came by one morning with my mom to take a look at a few different cars I had seen online. Of course the one I wanted was recently sold and not on the lot anymore but the salesman showed me a few other similar options. I fell absolutely in love with one vehicle and was ready to purchase it. My mom told me that she wanted my dad to come by and take a look at it because he knows more about cars and she wanted him to make sure it was a good car for me. That same week I came back with my dad, we looked at the car and he wanted to test drive it so we asked if we could. We were told that someone had put a deposit down on the car the night before which was fine with me so we left and I called the next day to see if the person followed through with the purchase and they did. I continuously checked the website for new cars, and the car I had wanted remained on the site. One day I checked and the price had been lowered so I called to see if maybe something had happened and the people didn't end up purchasing the car and was told the car was sold. Then the next day the price was raised back to its original price. It has been over a month since the car was "sold" and it still remains on the website..

This was very disappointing since I was coming from another town and it was based off of a friends' recommendation. Salesperson showed me other vehicles but they didn't have anything else that I was interested in.I do want to say that the immediate response to my initial inquiry was nice and the salesperson did make and effort to find something similar to what I was looking for. I found the Avalon I was looking for online at Huggard & Ewing with very low miles and athe a fair price. I was very impressed with how easy it was to set up an appointment and how they had the car waiting for me when I got there to test drive. After the test drive I went back in to make a deal since the car was almost brand new and Chris W. was the sales rep that I worked with. He was very nice and although I feel like I got a low value for my trade, I was satisfied with the price of my new (used) car and it was such an easy process it wasn't worth trying to sell it for more somewhere else. They aren't pushy at all and they let you pick the car you want, not trying to push you into getting a different one so they can make more off commission. The last dealership I went to was hard to work with and made me wait over a month to get the car I had purchased and I was very pleased that Huggard & Ewing was more customer focused than money focused and I could take my car with me that day.

Overall my visit wasn't that bad, went in knowing exactly what wanted so that was half the battle. My only two things I had an issue with was the finance manager was trying way to hard to push you into extended warranties. And they didn't detail before pickup. Even after you said no she tried for over a half an hour. The salesman I dealt with was very down to earth and didn't get the "arrogant" vibe you get from most dealers. Very reasonable prices on their vehicles. They were almost $4000 less than over a dozen other dealers and had the cleanest car with the least miles. One other thing was I was transferring plates and they dragged their feet until the last minute dealing with that process. Other than that the visit was in my opinion 4 out of 5. I would buy from them again if the opportunity presented itself.

I had been to many different dealerships in need of a car. I was told what car I needed to buy not the one I wanted. I was told I had no choice but to take there financing at 22% interest. I was even bullied into staying at one dealership when I wanted to leave. I honestly thought I would be taking Uber's to work for ever. A colleague told me to try Huggard & Ewing that they had been buying cars from them for years and they wouldn't go anywhere else. When I saw there reviews I figured it was worth one more shot. Well I just got home with my new car and I can't even begin to express how happy I am. I didn't think there was anyway I was going to actually buy something I wanted with a payment I can afford. I can not thank Susan especially. She said she can do more than most dealerships because of there relationship with there banks, and she wasn't lying. Everything she told me was true. She didn't make false promises or excuses. She kept in touch with me. Explained everything in detail. There was no pressure from anyone there just helpful professional people. If it wasn't for the reviews and my friend of course. I would be still spending hundreds a week on ubers. So I know how important these reviews are. Honestly if you want a car and you don't want to be pressured and lied to. Don't go anywhere else. I have been using Huggard & Ewing for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience there. I have had two different cars serviced there and bought a 2 year old SUV from them. The potential purchase was given a good examination before being offered for sale and was always given a brief inspection whenever I took it in for servicing in case there was something unexpected that needed attention. In saying that, I do not mean to suggest that unnecessary repairs were recommended.I can not speak highly enough about the Service Manager, Chris Coy, who goes above and beyond to assist his clients. He is the third manager during my use of Huggard & Ewing and he is the best by far. He is honest about what needs to be done and goes out of his way to see that it gets done right. I can also speak highly of the mechanics. Kevin Spusa has gotten me out of several jams with speed and efficiency. I do not know the other mechanics as well but they all seem quite competent.I strongly recommend Huggard & Ewing as a used car dealership and as a service venue.

Right from the beginning of the purchase to the financing and delivery it was A+. This was one of the BEST car buying experiences ever. At my age there has been a lot of car buying. I wish I found them years and years ago, I would have never gone anywhere else. When I checked all the prices on line for the Camry I bought Huggard and Ewing's had the best price by far. There cars are clean and reliable. The payment I wanted wasn't far off either. Susan the finance guru didn't give up until she got the best rate and term for me. She found way's to structure the deal to work for me. I really appreciated how she actually cared rather than just put me in the easy fastest deal she got. I can't say enough about this dealership. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Huggard and Ewing staff for taking away the dread of car .buying....

Be "cautious" when discussing price here. The sales staff will negotiate several rounds with you and then present an offer to you. You agree on that price but then sales staff will take the number you and they agreed to and then "talk to the manager". They then come back saying they can't do that price! They claim the offer you and the salesman (employee of dealership) agreed to isn't being made by the dealership! It is simply a way of getting you to set your bottom price! They will use that against you to work you up from there. Make sure the offers you're getting are a committed price first before you provide any counter offers!

this dealership was fantastic as I needed to have a rebuilt engine for my son's first car. Chris Coy knows his stuff and amazed me from day one finding the problem immediately when other mechanics had no clue. He has a wonderful way with people and truly cares about his work!!! Kevin Sousa was doing much of the work and we ended up with almost a brand new car thanks to him. I couldn't speak any higher about their service and work and I have been through many car issues in my life yet never received such a great experience and all because of both of these great guys! Made a verbal agreement with my husband and my 21 year old daughter. This is my daughters first car purchase and they ruined it for her. We got a bank check for the money agreed upon by my husband and Reggie and another person but when we got to the lot to purchase the vehicle they told us they needed another $1000.00 dollars for sales tax and registry fees, I called my husband and he told me "no that was the agreed upon price after going back and forth with prices Reggie came back and said the price which was with sales tax and registry included." but they basically called my husband a liar and my daughter and chuckled and argued with us. I took our checks back and walked out I hope they felt like big men ruining my daughters excitement and taking away the car that she thought she was all set with. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY...they don't stick to their word so dishonest! All of them Mr. Big guy in the shorts also RUDE!

Huggard and Ewing is simply THE BEST around. Whether I'm shopping for a new vehicle or need service on my car, they always take care of me and leave me one HAPPY customer. Most recently my car lost its two front tires/rims due to potholes in the city. Chris Coy in service went above and beyond--not only did he provide me with a Loaner vehicle while my car was off the road, he was able locate two of the same exact rims that were ruined and I wasn't forced into getting basic stock wheels or buy a set of 4 brand new rims. That saved me a ton of money. It was not easy for him but he did it anyway. Everyone at Huggard is always looking out for the best interest of their customers, and that is why I will never go anywhere else.Thank you Huggard and Ewing for your exceptional service.

When our Mercury Mariner recently encountered a strange loose steering wheel, Chris knew that this was a potential immediate accident ready to happen & made room immediately to have our truck serviced. I braced myself for not only the witch hunt to figure out what dangerous issue was but also the possible high price to correct it. My fears were relieved by the Huggard & Ewing service department. Kevin not only troubleshooted & had the remedy within 15 minutes but I was pleasantly surprised at the low price it would cost to get us back on the road safely. Where others may have take advantage of me by making the problem much bigger than it really was, Kevin & the guys at Huggard & Ewing made it quick, easy & affordable. I highly recommend their service department for any small & major problem you have with your automobile.

I was looking for a Toyota Camry when I stumbled upon Huggard and Ewing on CarGurus.com. Nervous about small dealerships I looked at reviews, some were good, and some not so good. I decided to drive the hour and a half there hoping that the good reviews were true. When I got there the sales people were pretty nice. I test drove a 2009 Camry with 75,5000 miles and decided I would like to buy it. Because the dealership is so far from my home I wanted to take the car that night and the dealer wouldn't allow it. We even offered to pay in cash and they insisted that they had to keep it to get it registered, insured and inspected. I agreed and planned to pick it up Thursday afternoon. Before leaving I requested that a missing fog light cap be replaced and a crack in the bumper be glued just so it wouldn't get worse. When I turned on my car to drive away there was 75,800 miles on it. I left the dealership at 7:30 pm on Tuesday night and I arrived to pick up my car at 5:00 pm on Thursday. In the 46 hours that I left my car at the dealership they managed to add 300 miles to the odometer. In addition, the fog light cap was not replaced, the crack in the bumper was not repaired, the car had not been cleaned and there was no inspection sticker. There were stains inside the car that were not there when I test drove it and there were paint splatters that should have been cleaned. The dealership had already closed by the time I arrived so there was no one to talk to. When I tried to call and leave a message, their answering machine would not take voicemail. I was very disappointed with the service that I received and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.

I recently had the pleasure of working with both Chris Gendreau and Chris O'neill with the purchase of my 2008 Nissan Maxima. They both went above and beyond my expecations as a returning customer. I purchased a 2010 Chevy Impala in July of 2013 through them and never had any issues with the car, it was a great vehicle! I really wanted a Nissan, but at the time, it was just not something I could do. They promised me that if I came back in 10-12 months, they would be able to put me into a Nissan. I saw the add for the Ram pick up that I have been looking for on a Friday night, I called the dealership to see if I could take a look at the vehicle on Saturday morning, a couple hours later I am driving the truck home. I really needed assistance and a "no hassle" experience buying a used vehicle. I and a few friends havehad positive prior experiences with Huggard & Ewing and so they were the 1st dealership I thought to go to after an accident which totalled my vehicle.First of all, I reviewed auto's on line and spotted a Ford Focus at Huggard & Ewing. I emailed and received a quick response from Reg, and made an appointment to visit the next day.I was greeted by Mike Burns and was looking at the car in a matter of minutes. . . . . no waiting, no trying to get me to look at higher priced vehicles, it was great!I loved the car immediately and decided I wanted it after a test drive.Mike Burns helped me with all the paperwork, while Chris negotiated with financial institutions on my behalf.I had a new car the same day. It was a seamless experience for me. The car was prepped before I drove it home, tires, gas, new battery etc. They paid for the inspection sticker too.I would definitely recommend buying a car at this dealership. Try it! I have been searching for a Jeep for my wife for about 6 months and finally found the 1, we test drove many in our price range and the customer service and honesty of the sales team helped us purchase exactly what we wanted at a fair price. The service department went over the vehicle and even replaced all 4 tires when only the front ones showed a little ware which was at no extra cost. I would definitely refer a friend and shop there for my next vehicle.

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with both Paul and Chris O'Neil. I had a car accident that totaled my car. I had a short window of time to find a new vehicle. Many dealerships are not up front, and nice. I identified a vehicle online, and my husband stopped by to test drive it, my step father checked it out, and when I had the opportunity to test drive, we decided to make an offer to purchase. They allowed us to test drive the vehicle, didn't push other things we were not interested in, and made the experience easy and seamless. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking another vehicle. I did deal with a few other dealerships, and some told us the car we were seeking was on the lot, and it was not when we arrived, and others tried to push vehicles outside our interest and budget. I can't say enough good things about this dealership. I can't recall how we first got introduced. I was looking online and then received an e-mail from Reggie. Reggie even sent out video of the jeep. Everyone went out of their way to introduce themselves and talk to us. This was really nice, I had never seen anything like it. The whole process was so simple and easy. We had done most of the paperwork via e-mail so when we got there, they had the paperwork ready and we were there no more than a hour or so. They were very genuine and real, not pushy or obnoxious. The jeep was really clean when we received it. Our credit was not the best, but they were able to work with us and get us what we wanted without a lot of hassle. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone.

I recently started having car trouble with my Pontiac G6 and after asking around I figured it would be best to trade her in while she still had some value. The search took me a few weeks but I eventually stumbled across Huggard and Ewing in Stoughton MA, from the start the service was awesome. I gave Paul and Chris my criteria and they put me in a vehicle within three days. Im now enjoying my 2009 Chevy Malibu thanks to Huggard and Ewing. They were honest, upfront & flexible and I would recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat. The best part about H & E is that you never feel like youre getting hustled. Having lived in Stoughton for 13 years and driven by Huggard & Ewing many, many times - I stopped in on January 4th to test drive a Nissan Versa which I had thoroughly reviewed on the internet and found it was by far the best price. Mike Burns was very helpful in showing me the car details and off we went. Before I left I mentioned to Mike I was slightly interested in the Nissan Cube that was parked next to it. The test drive of the Versa pretty much nailed my opinion that I did not like it at all. When I returned I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Mike had already warmed up the Cube for us - as it was 3 degrees out that morning! I fell in love with it but hadn't done any homework on the price or the model. After a day of research and finding out that the deal Huggard & Ewing had for this Cube was unmatched within a 75 mile radius - we went back for a 2nd test drive. It was Monday night, 15 minutes before they closed - Mike was there waiting with a big smile and said take your time, I'll be here when you get back. (To me that is great customer service.) Everything went well - including the finance process which was pain free thanks to Chris O'Neill. This is our fourth used car purchase in 15 plus years and the first from Huggard & Ewing - I won't hesitate to come back and do business with them again.

This was my second purchase from this dealership, 1st puchase was a Ford Explorer 6 years ago, very happy with the SUV and purchase exprience was great. Just bought a new house and needed a truck. First website I visited and last, found a nice Ford 150 with a super cab, just what I was looking for. Drove off 3 days later, everyone was great a made it another great buying exprience. Bought a car from here about a year ago. While the sales process was great the car itself was complete piece of junk. 2 days after picking it up brought through the car wash and paint literally just peeled off. Brought back to Huggard and Ewing and Chris pretty much said I dont know what to tell you. The best I can do is get it fixed and charge you our cost. From that point nothing but problems the car spent several weeks over the past 11 months at the shop being repaired for all sorts of problems. Finally had enough and got rid of the car and bought a new one from Bournes down the street. Much better quality. Would never buy another car from here again!!!!! However their service department is great!!

Our (my family) experience was great. We worked with Sales Associate Paul Lombardo. He provided information on the vehicles we were looking at and was flexible when we looked at several vehicles before decided on one to purchase. Paul kept in contact via e-mail and phone and at no time pressured us into a particular vehicle. I would recommend Paul to family and friends. I had been shopping around for a used car for just over a month when my brother offered to swing me by Huggard & Ewing on a Saturday afternoon- a dealer which he was familiar with. We drove into the lot, walked around a few times. Lots of cars stuck out but weren't quite within my price range nor exactly what I was looking for. Paul Lombardo noticed us and stopped to say hello and if we needed anything...he was here. I knew they were closing soon but he encouraged us to take our time. Paul met us again as we were heading out asked more about what I was looking for, price range, etc...I had plenty of "must haves". Paul was hesitant to mention the car he had just gotten (he was working on vehicle in the shed) as it wasn't fully prepared for purchase but to my surprise it was exactly what I wanted!! No sticker surprise either. He was completely straight forward my brother and I did a little research on several make/models- year and were happy we didn't have to have a long draw out talk about price. Even though the lot was due to close soon and weren't really able to do much business that day. He offered us to take the car for a spin, we returned and met briefly inside to exchange some information.By Wednesday my car was ready for pick up, Mike Burns showed me to my new "used" car and showed me around from the radio to adj seat/mirrors- everything!! Last introduction was the service dept- Mike introduced me to Chris Coy who took the time to discuss all service questions. I knew from the minute I talked to Mike on the phone that he was easy-going and friendly and that I would enjoy my visit. I got a great vibe from everyone I encountered and felt immediately like I was in good hands! I drove off with the Nissan Rogue I had come in to test drive - time will tell, but so far I am thrilled with my purchase! Mike was laid-back and gave me the facts I needed about the car without being pushy or sketchy like so many a used-car dealer I have encountered before him. My vehicle got totaled a month ago, I have been shopping for a car, a lot of headaches, pressure an rudeness from a lot of dealerships. Saw a car online at Huggard & Ewing, a Toyota sienna with low miles for a great price for the vehicle, but more then what I had to spend, they worked with me (no more than 10 minutes) and they got me the vehicle for exactly what I could afford. Mike Burns was very friendly, NO pressure, and professional. Huggard and Ewing is a used car dealer but not like any other dealer, they are the best. Can't wait to pick up my vehicle on Wednesday. I have had multiple issues with my car over the last few months (add in my mother's car and you would think I live at H&E) and the quality of service from both Chris and Kevin is through the roof. Without fail, they both are friendly, professional, concerned about the well being of both my car and my family, and above all they are honest. It's not easy to find a good place to take your car when you need something, but finding a service place you can honestly say you love to go to is unheard of and I truly love taking my car to the service dept at H&E. I've had a horrible month personally and my car needing brakes, my battery dying, and my mother's car needing service while she was out of town has only added major stress to my already tough time. Last night I ran over something and got a flat on my way to get my kids from day care and literally felt like the universe was out to get me. It was basically my breaking point and I couldn't have been more upset or frustrated. I got my spare on and made it through the night completely disheartened. When I ran to H&E this morning to try and figure out my best option (I drive 100 miles round trip for work and couldn't do it on a donut), Chris saw the problem before I even pulled in, had the tire out of my trunk before I even parked, got everything fixed, and got me back on the road within minutes. Joking with me and making my day a little brighter the whole time. Kevin and Chris are always there to not just fix my car (or my mom's car), they ease your mind with quality of service, honesty about what's going on and what you really need, and a little humor mixed in just to make it all a little better. I can't say enough amazing things about this service department

I purchased a used Toyota Sienna, which apparently just had come in from an auction. Thus, it was not quite ready (i.e., not cleaned, minor damages not addressed). I bought it and Paul promised to have everything fixed by the time I pick up. They registered the car for me, so no hassle waiting at an RMV. When I came to take the car of the lot most things were done except for a missing rail cap that Paul had mailed to me. Unfortunately, the battery died within a few days. When mentioning this to Chris he reimbursed me for this immediately. Finally, as promised the title arrived within a few weeks. So overall I had a very good experience.

I have been impressed since my first visit in July 2013 to initially look at then purchase a vehicle at Huggard and Ewing. I was initially encountered by Paul Lombardo and first impressions are very important to me. I felt that Paul's approach was not just professional but he was very engaging and demonstrated very good interpersonal communication skills. I had found exactly what I was looking for . The price and presentation of the vehicle was exactly what I had searched many weeks for. The 2004 GMC Yukon I chose was in very good condition with the lower mileage I had been doggedly pursuing in my weeks long search. Paul was quite helpful and explanative and did not present the quick sale, fast talking ,salesman approach. I made the decision to move forward with the sale. The next person was Chris O'Neill who is the co-owner and was really personable and engaging ,he made the sale process easy, he worked with my husband and me to obtain a very reasonable purchase agreement. I really can't end up this review without letting folks know that the service department headed up by Chris Coy is one of the best I have ever encountered! Chris is very knowledgeable, engaging , he has a very good "gift of gab", and in my estimation is tireless in making sure no stone is unturned with problem solving any issue regarding repairs etc. I have all good things to say about my encounters with Chris regarding any issue with my purchased vehicle. I also must mention that the level of professionalism and of the service department staff was excellent. In summation ,I could go on, I and my husband are very pleased with our overall experience at Huggard and Ewing. Thanks to all of the Huggard and Ewing staff!

I went to Huggard and Ewing because they always have a great selection of under-used cars. This was my second purchase, so I knew to ask for Paul (he's been there for years). I shopped online first, so I had a particular car in mind. After we worked a deal, there was no pressure to close, so I had the opportunity to sneak around and try to beat it. In the end, they offered me far more for my trade than anyone else and they sold me a solid car with low enough mileage that there was even some factory warranty left. Paul and the Chrises served me well. I can't say enough!

Oh My God, the people at Huggard and Ewing were so so friendly I drove 2 hours to Stoughton, when I got there Huggard & Ewing gave me the keys to an 2009 Infiniti M35x and told me we will see you when you get back, so I had to buy car. Huggard and Ewing made buying a car so easy. I went to Queens Auto Mall and Automax in Framingham there first thing they wanted was my SS number before I could smell or see a car and the salesmen were so nasty to me but Huggard and Ewing made me feel real comfortable and they really worked with me. The kicker was Huggard and Ewing filled my tank up before I left the lot, now would any major car dealership fill your tank before you leave their lot I dont think so. Huggard and Ewing you have a customer for life and it was worth the 2 hour drive 3 days in a row. Please America Support Small Business especially Huggard & Ewing you will not be disappointed

I had a great experience going to Huggard and Ewing when I went there this past July to purchase a newer used car!! This was actually my first time buying a car by myself and I couldn't have been happier. I was able to get a great deal on my 2007 Ford Explorer and got a very reasonable trade in value for my old jeep. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to and get a hold of. They worked with my budget and were also able to give me a low interest rate for my loan with aforadable monthy payments. I was very pleased with that considering this was my first car loan ever! I was very pleased with the staff and the service that was provided with sales team. I was also just as pleased if not more pleased with the service center and staff in there. They went above and beyond to fix and look into the things I wanted them to check out. They were also very friendly, worked with my schedule and took care of everything for me with my new car! I definitely recommend Huggard & Ewing. Right from the beginning, when I first contacted Huggard & Ewing, I had a great experience. I sent an on-line request inquiring about a Honda for sale I saw in carsforsale.com. Mike Burns got back to me via a phone call the following day. He was very professional and friendly. He treated me with the respect I expected as a potential new customer (unlike other dealers I contacted while in the process of finding a car). Mike was helpful answering all my questions and concerns and was very accommodating with my schedule so I could visit them for a test drive. Later in the week, when I returned to complete the purchase of the Honda, Chris O'Neill had all the paperwork ready and well-organized. He took the time to go over all the forms and explained them to me in a efficient and clear way. Chris also took the time to answer any questions I had so when I signed the papers I was very confident I had make a good decision. The entire process from seeing the car, taking it for test drive, to signing the papers to purchase it was very efficient, pleasurable, and hassle-free. The rest of the staff at Huggard & Ewing I interacted with was also very friendly. An added benefit Huggard & Ewing offers is the issuing of license plates. I didn't have license plates since I didn't own a car but this wasn't a problem. They issued my new license plates on the premises and it was just great to drive away in my new car. I have owned my Honda for almost three weeks now and have driven it to long distances outside MA and it drives perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchase and when the time comes to get a different car, for sure I'll be contacting Huggard & Ewing.

My experience with Huggard and Ewing surpassed my wildest expectations. I was in the market for my first car and saw a very reasonably priced Dodge Avenger with low mileage on Cars.com and had to take the drive out to see it. I'm so glad I did! everyone was friendly, extremely helpful and worked to make sure the car was right for me rather than mercilessly trying to sell me whatever they had like many other dealers. When I had the car looked at before buying it, the mechanic found a few problems; breaks needed to be replaced, AC charge, oil change etc. I thought it would be a deal breaker, but that wasn't the case as the crew at Huggard and Ewing did everything that needed to be done, free of charge and within two days! Needless to say, I bought the car and was extremely pleased with my experience at Huggard and Ewing.But it doesn't end there...About a week after I bought the car, I noticed that my front right speaker sounded fuzzy and I thought it was blown. I called Chris O'Neill and told him about the problem and he said to bring the car in the next day and they'd replace them for free! He gave me Chris Coy's (as if there weren't enough Chrises at this place) number to make an appointment. I spoke with Chris, made the appointment, and before I hung up, he told me he just wanted me to know that he's not going to rip some junk speakers out of another car and throw them in mine like some dealers do. He said he was going to put some aftermarket speakers in. I was pretty pumped about getting new aftermarket speakers for free but I didn't know how nice of a pair of speakers they were going to give me until the guy from the autoparts store delivered a Pioneer box to the shop. The speakers were amazing (I priced them out at around $70 for the pair) and the guys in the shop were really laid back. I actually had a pretty decent time waiting around the shop, hanging out with them while they installed the speakers and even got a lesson on what was wrong with my old ones when Chris Coy and I dissected them.Overall I had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend Huggard And Ewing (and already have) to anyone buying a new or used car. The guys are great, the service is great and I drove home in an awesome car!

I was receiving a low tire pressure reading on the dash panel of the car. I then check all 4 tires to determine if there was a problem with the tires. All tires were inflated according to tire pressure spec, as shown on the drivers side of the door.I brought the car into Huggard & Ewing to investigate and correct this problem. Within 20 minutes, Chris was able to address and resolve the tire pressure problem. In addition, since the car was within the need of an engine oil change, this was also done.Thanks Chris, for resolving these problems in such a timely manner.

As a consumer... I left quite happy! I found the Ford Ranger online and quickly put a deposit down to hold it till I could make arrangements to travel from Martha's Vineyard just to take it for a drive. Now, here's the best part... Huggard and Ewing found a credit union that would give me a loan for 4.50% vs my own bank, who wanted 9.75%! After driving the vehicle and questioning the back disc brakes, they put it up on the lift and we talked. I didn't have to walk away unsatisfied at all... my experience was honest and I left with a handsome used vehicle well within my means to afford. And yes, they did put gas in it! If making a good impression and getting a good deal is what consumers are hoping to find in the sea of used cars... Huggard and Ewing is top on my list! Tell Mike Burns I said "hello" when you go in to see them!

I was in a major car accident and left without a car. Financially I am not in a situation to be able to afford a monthly car payment. I looked around at several car dealerships and did not have any luck. I have seen Huggard and Ewing in passing while driving down 138. I figured I would stop in and see if they by chance had anything in my budget. I have never been to a car dealership that I felt so comfortable at. They were all so kind to me and very helpful. I never once felt as if someone was trying to sell me something that I couldn't afford. In 2003 I purchased my first used vehicle at Huggard & Ewing dealership. It was the first and only car I test drove and purchased it on the spot. This 1999 Pontiac Bonneville drove like a charm for more than ten years! I put over 150,000 miles on my "Bonny" and once it was time to say goodbye; where else to purchase my next new car, but of course at Huggard and Ewing. I started my truck search visiting new car dealers. My first and second experience was very good with the sales people but as soon as they involved their manager I was creeped out. I acually called one sales person the next day and told him, it was a real pleasure meeting you but your manager, I just did not trust and (taking a line from Shark Tank, for that reason I'm out. As a Manager myself at a local hospital, I am very aware of the importance of good customer service and I have good instinks of who is trustworthy and going to be fair with people. So as soon as I walked in to the Huggard & Ewing office area I was greeted...not pounced on. The person that helped me was Paul, very layed back and very easy to talk to. We discussed the truck I was interesed in, I took it for a long ride, came back, talked money, discussed trade in then I went home to think about it and do a little research. The key word here is "home". The other two dealers I visited would not let me leave they just kept coming at me "what's it going to take to get you in a truck today" as I was walking out the door...see ya! When I went home I did a little research on the truck and went back the next day to iron out the deal. Through the purchasing process with Paul I met Chris who is an owner, I met Chris who is the finacial person and also, yes, Chris in the sevice department all with excellent customer service skills. I am not very good with names so this worked out well for me too. So being a person who would normally purchase new vehicles, I had to remind myself a used vehicle is just that...used and it's not going to be perfect. But, what needs to be as close to perfect as possible is a fair price, good service and trust, that's what I experienced here. Duing my first ten days with the truck I started thinking, did I make the right decision purchasing used. So, I decided to take it to a service station to have a machanic check it out for me. He spent over an hour inspecting the truck and it passed with flying colors well worth the $65.00 dollars, put my mind at ease and confirmed that I was dealing with some good people. Not to mention all the money I saved on insurance, taxes, taxes, taxes by purchasing a used vehicle. I'll be back in a couple years.

Found the vehicle I was looking for online. Came in at my convenience and was greeted by friendly service. They allowed me to take a lengthy test drive alone which allowed me to focus on the vehicle and not what the salesman had to say. Upon return they allowed me to take out another vehicle for comparison. While discussing terms with them I was hesitant to purchase that day. They allowed me to take the weekend to think about it and get my paperwork in order. They held the vehicle or 5 days for an extremely reasonable price, (much better than all other dealers I dealt with). The negotiations were pressure free, and I felt very much in control the whole time. I took the vehicle to my mechanic before I purchased, and sure enough there were no problems detected. Overall I was very happy with my experience.

My wife was looking for a very particular used car and found one of very few in the area online at this dealership. It started with a phone call on a Friday and it already became apparent this dealership was better than the others. It was a lengthy phone conversation and answered all our questions. We visited Saturday and were again treated with friendliness, respect, and very little pressure. We had been looking a lot lately at other dealerships on the auto-mile the and by comparison it was a night and day difference. We were really interested in the car, but it was at the top of our price range, and rightfully so. They reduced the already reasonable price to an even better one and let us put a very small refundable amount down to hold the car for 48 hours so we could make our final decision. After ultimately deciding my wife's happiness and son's safety were more important than any amount of money in the bank, I decided to buy. We arrived at the dealer on Monday 4/15 after work around 6pm, just a couple hour after the Boston Marathon explosion. Terrible day, but again treated extremely well. I know it's their job to be friendly, but how many people do you know that worked late and kept a smile on their face after that. Their financing expert was stuck in the city near the event, so we had to come back to get the car later, but it was all very smooth. On Tuesday, they found me a better loan rate than my own credit union had, and my wife was off with the car another day later. Again, we had to come after work to get the car, a little later than hope because of traffic ~6:45pm (they close at 7). The stayed late to take care of us. One of the guys even stayed until 8pm to show my wife all the bells and whistles of the vehicle. While he was doing that, my 2-yr old son and I were playing around the lot and I really couldn't help noticing how many nice cars were there for very reasonable prices. I'm not an idiot. I come from a family of mechanics. I've bought plenty of cars. I lament it the process. Here it was different. I highly recommend this dealership and can't see myself going anywhere else when I need my next car.P.S. I rated them 5 (great) on all categories except price where I gave a 4 (good). Two reasons for that. (1) I am very frugal and hate spending money. (2) As far as I'm concerned, if dealers gave great prices they wouldn't be in business very long. This place has been family run for 50 years.

I had not previously heard of Huggard & Ewing until a week or so ago. I saw a Focus and a Ranger I was interested in advertised by their dealership, so I took a ride down. The salesman (Paul) was low-key, down-to-earth, and friendly, and I instantly felt comfortable with him. I decided the Focus and Ranger weren't quite for me, and he didn't try and push them on me. He listened to me, and while he suggested some other vehicles to me, he wasn't pushy. He pointed out a couple of Fiestas to me which he thought I might like based on what I told him I was looking for, and they were good suggestions. There was one blue Fiesta in particular I liked, so he explained everything about it before I test-drove it. Interestingly, the other Fiesta was more expensive, but he didn't try and upsell me, which I appreciated. Before I left, Paul and one of the owners (Chris), made a very fair offer to me. Sure, they made a pitch to sell me the car right then, but I didn't mind, because that's part of the game, and they did it in a low-pressure way. I didn't make a decision then because I had a few more dealerships to visit, but I left Huggard feeling good about the place. I had a bad experience at another dealership later that day (fast-talking and talking down to me), which I walked out of.Paul placed one friendly, no-pressure follow-up call to me 2 days later; and when I decided on their Fiesta later that day, I was very happy with my decision. Paul and Chris did a great job of explaining the vehicles and making an offer, but at the same time treating me with respect and letting me make up my mind without any high-pressure tactics. I'll definitely check out their dealership again in the future!Barry

Before leaving, Mike introduced to the repair/mechanic shop manager, Chris Coy, wherein he explained that they're a full service shop and also gave me a card for oil changes - every sixth one is free! Again, a very friendly and helpful staff member.Needless to say, my entire buying experience was fast, friendly, seamless and efficient. My girlfriend and I had a great experience here. After shopping around all day and being bombarded with sales people we found Huggard and Ewing. We were not hard sold into a car we didn't want and they helped us compare options and pricing to find the best value for our budget. Chris and Paul were both helpful and did an excellent job taking care of everything from the test drive to paperwork and registration. Quality of used cars and trucks are mid to high grade. Pricing is average. Staff was extremely friendly and educated on vehicles. My whole experience was quick and simple. They worked with me on my needs for both my purchase and financing, even getting me a lower interest rate for my loan. After taking a test drive I found 3 minor issues with my truck. They agreed to repair all the things I wanted done before leaving the lot with my new to me truck. I was able to pick up my truck the following day fixed, with all my registration and banking done. I didn't even have to go to the DMV. Huggard and Ewing is a great pre owned lot for first time buyers and people not fully confident in their car buying skills. Very little BS and staff seemed genuine.

Chris honest and trustworthy, great proce for repair noone could beat as i shopped around after obtaning the quote from huggard and ewing noone would even match the price i was given for repairs. I would recomend highly that anyone in need of car repairs or that has recieved a quote give haggard and ewing a call and save yourself some money. All these guys are great.

Both the salesman and the business/finance specialist were very congenial. My buying experience was enjoyable and certainly not rushed. The test drive which I consider most important when choosing a used pickup truck was long enough and not scrutinized by the staff at all. I had several questions and Mike answered all courteously and promptly. He is very respectful. He knows his inventory well and listened to my desires and comments regarding the vehicle I was looking to buy. One thing could have improved the buying experience for me would be, since it was winter and there was a recent snowfall, someone at the dealership might have suggested that they shovel off the truck bed to make everything visible. He did state that the truck would be checked thoroughly over by the Service Dept. I will highly recommend Huggard and Ewing to my friends and family, and in particular Mike.

I have bought 7 cars from Huggard and Ewing mostly dealing with Jeff Huggard who has retired. Kevin Sousa has serviced most of my vehicles during this time. I never felt that he tried to do any service that wasn't neccessary and has advised as to what needs to be done immediately and what conditions should be monitored. I have made appointments for service but have also called at 7:30 in the morning and have had my car serviced by 8:00 am.Repairs have been consistently done properly and in a timely manner. I have not had to return for a second time on any problems they have serviced. They also have done repairs that another shop turned down as too difficult. The courtesy shuttle to work is also most convenient. The costs of repairs in my opinion have been reasonable. I never felt that I paid for anything that I did not really need.As long as Kevin is on the staff of Huggard and Ewing that is where my vehicles will be serviced.

I personally had a great experience dealing with the guys at Huggard & Ewing. They let you test drive the cars on your own for as long as you want so you can really assess how well you like the vehicle without a constant sales pitch. They actually dont "pitch" at all. They are reasonable with their negotiations and don't make you wait for hours to come to an agreement like many dealers do. If you're not ready to buy they also do not hassle you constantly about your decision making process. The car buying here is about as good as it gets.

I purchased a 2008 F350 from Huggard and Ewing a few months back. I worked closely with Chris Gendreau in Sales with the trade of a previous vehicle and a purchase of my new one. He made sure that I was certain that the vehicle I was purchasing was "the one".... he is extrememely knowlegable about each vehicle on the car lot and made sure I knew exactly what I was buying . Chris worked diligently to make sure he was getting me the best value for my trade as well as the best price and rates for my new purchase. Chris O'Neill (in finance) was extremely helpful making sure I understood the entire financial process throughout the transaction. With the help of Chris Gendreau and Chris O'Neill I am confident in saying that I purchased the right truck and paid the best possible price. I would recommend Huggard and Ewing to anyone.... I am sure that if while on the hunt for a vehicle whether they are your first stop or your last you will feel the same. Huggard and Ewing has the best mechanics, especially Kevin Sousa, who I always ask for. They never do any work that is not needed, and always check to see what is needed, and they keep my car safe and running great. Their prices are wonderful....the best around...I would never go to a dealer. They are always helpful and caring and friendly, no matter how busy they are. The quality of work is the best. I would never go anywhere else. I pray Kevin Sousa never leaves. The new manager Chris is very helpful and friendly. They are absolutely the best. I have to wait for my car, and I am always attended to right away, and out the door as soon as possible. Even if parts have to be obtained, they arrive right away. I am blessed to have them. I never have to worry about my car.

I recently received service from Chris Coy and Kevin Sousa for a loud noise from under the car. they diagnosed and completed the repair in a timely manner at a very reasonable cost. I have purchased 10-15 vehicles for my family in the last 20 years, mainly from Paul Lombardo. The service department has always been honest and up front regarding needed repairs and I have always felt comfortable with the professional and personal service and treatment. I have referred many friends to this dealership and i give the highest rating to the entire dealership. I have been bringing my cars to Huggard and Ewing for over 10 years. They offer low fees for high quality service. I cant imagine going anywhere else. I bring my cars there for everything from a simple oil change to a new transmission. I always request Kevin to work on my cars. Kevin is one of a kind; he is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and genuine. I always know my car is in good hands with Kevin, I know he takes his time and does honest work. He doesn't beat around the bush like most service mechanics and is completely honest with you. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs any service. My husband and I purchased a clean and well maintained pre-owned passenger van at Huggard & Ewing. We found this van by internet search, shopped around extensively, and traveled 3 hours from NH. Our salesman, Mike Burns, was helpful and friendly from test drive to purchase. He promptly returned phone calls. We were impressed with Mike's pride with working for the family owned dealership with a long history of quality maintained vehicles. Chris ONeill made financing the van simple. He was prepared with all necessary documents and did the extra leg work of contacting our town hall registration clerk to make arrangements for a temporary plate. Then to top it all off, we were caught in stormy weather and traffic on our way to pick up the van and Mike and Chris accommodated us by staying over an hour past closing time.
