Brought my car in for the timing, did not have a leak in my head gasket when I brought it in, but somehow had a leak when I left. This was not mentioned to me, but written in small writing in my paperwork for me to find less than 4 months later when I had to shell out another 3 grand for the head gasket repair. Frustrating experience, called the shop and they said there was nothing they could do, I had to redo the timing as well. My brother is a mechanic and he checked out the car before I brought it for the timing and sensor replacement, he said there was no leak before I brought it in. He said he wished he did the repair himself, and when I called the shop they made me feel crazy and they did not stand by their guarantee for parts because technically the timing did not fail. Really shady business, they took more than a thousand for a repair they knew would not last me more than 5k miles

I can’t give this a high enough rating, the whole experience was very painless and pleasant. I ended up getting my very first car here and I will definitely be back when I have to get a new one.

This was the best car-buying experience in my life. I did my research & selected my car online and a sales rep from Hughes contacted me by phone and I told him I wanted a specific car on their lot. My car was waiting for me when I arrived, No pressure to try other models. No nonsense. Very friendly staff, very comfortable atmosphere, pleasant experience.

I love it when I am so pleasantly surprised I have to write a positive review without any prompting! Mike was so kind and saved the car I saw online for me while I took my two hour drive down to Athens as Atlanta Subaru dealerships didn't have exactly what I wanted. Skieler took her time to go over the financials with me so I understood everything and she had such a compassionate and honest heart. I wish I lived closer to continually do business with them. It was the first fantastic and effortless car buying experience I've had in the past five years! Plus Mike went over everything in the car with me one last time before leaving and I now feel really confident in my knowledge of my Forester. Cannot recommend enough!

I called to set up appt. for recall on Subaru Outback and got an appt. very promptly. Service was on time for appt. and did recall work along with an inspection and carwash at no cost.

Great experience! I went to another local Subaru shop for the same issue. The other dealership was pushing me to replace the entire system. The service team at Hughes walked me through why I didn't need to replace the entire brake system. All I needed was to replace the brake pads. They also informed me of all the recalls and replaced them for free on the spot. We will make the drive every time for this experience!

Michael Brownlow, the sales representative, was patient, considerate and very well informed about the entire Subaru line. He has none of the dreadful characteristics of our culture's stereotypical car salesman. I was also impressed when the other sales representatives were happy, and able, to help out when Michael was unavailable. The Service Department put up with a continuous stream of tedious technical questions from me all afternoon without once betraying impatience.I would not only recommend this dealer to all friends and family several times, I would also nag them endlessly to go there first. If I find out they never went to Hughes Subaru, I would only offer them deprecatory sneers punctuated with chuckles of derision.

This was my first visit to the new dealership in Athens. I was very pleased! The service department did a fantastic job on getting me in and out quickly and took care of a recall I was not aware of while I was there. Waiting area is very nice and comfortable and everyone was friendly. They will be my new go to dealership for my Subaru!

They were very considerate and professional. I test drove two cars. He took the time to explain everything about the car. I did not feel rushed even though they were having a grand opening party later that evening. They also invited me to stay for the party! I got a fair price and the financing went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends. I did my homework on this car and I'm glad I bought it!

Taylor and Bob were so friendly and professional. Taylor was just finishing up with a commercial and another customer, so Bob (the finance guy) helped me out. My husband test drove the Forester last week with Taylor, and I thought I would check it out too. Bob went out of his way to get the vehicle in the color and trim I wanted to test drive from the back. I was hooked with the smooth and quiet transmission. After the test drive, I was still waiting for Taylor, but Bob talked WITH (not at) me about the car, trade-in, and financing without trying to upsell me from the basic model. It was such a nice conversation with a FINANCE guy! I did some research on line and knew what I wanted for a trade-in amount and what a good price would be for the Forester. Much to my pleasant surprise, he made me an offer that nearly matched my numbers, without me negotiating and waiting several hours before an offer was accepted, like other dealerships that I have dealt with. I was not rushed or intimidated at all during the whole experience. Taylor finished working all the other details with me and walked me through the vehicles features. I have purchased over 10 cars at various dealerships, and I have always felt some regret that I overpaid, felt guilty that I doomed the car without an additional paint sealant or extended warranty, and wasted an entire day at the dealership...UNTIL NOW. Hughes Subaru (Taylor and Bob) made me feel like a valued guest. Should I be in the market for another vehicle, I would 100% go back to Hughes Subaru.

Richard was amazingly patient and resourceful. He knew the product very well and took the time to answer all our many, many questions. We made several trips out before making the purchase and never felt like a burden. Great experience and great car. Love my Suburu.

I took my 05 Outback in for a recall. I had scheduled my appointment by phone and the conversation was upbeat and professional and took very little time. When we arrived for the appointment we were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. We were shown to the waiting area (very nice and complimentary Jittery Joe's coffee). The work on my car was done in the time frame that was indicated when I scheduled the service. I took the time while I was there to speak with a salesman and told him up front, that I was only looking for information and I wouldn't be thinking about buying until next year some time. He gave me information on what I can expect to pay for a car 3 - 5 years old. No pressure, just the information I asked for. I knew I had a few things that needed service and as expected, these were highlighted for me when I checked out. Again there was no pressure, just information about what needed to be done. I asked for estimates on each item needing service and what they felt was the order of importance. They provided the information and also told me why they ordered the importance the way they did. Overall, an outstanding experience. Exactly what I have come to expect from my Subaru dealer. I expect to be doing a good deal of business with Hughes Subaru.

We are so glad to have a Subaru dealership closer to our area. Couldn't ask for a nicer sales person than Brandon. He went over everything with us. Still checking on us and making sure that we know he is just a phone call away if we have any questions about our new Subaru Forester and its great features. Good experience with Bob, in the Financial Department also. We are new to the Subaru family but knew that this was what we wanted. We were so ready for them to open...we had stopped by before they were actually opened and Brandon took the time to talk to us and invite us back as soon as they were officially opened for business. ...... I think a lot of folks are glad they are here.
