Worst experience buying a car that I have ever had!! I bought a very expensive car that I could not drive for a week because they screwed up my title work. Made promises to make it right if I filled out the surveys with all 5 stars that they would take care of us. Meanwhile I did that and now they are telling me that it wasn't the right surveys. Very frustrated with them. I buy a new car every 9 months and will not be using this dealership again. I did like my salesman at the beginning but was ignored after everything was done.

I have taken my last three vehicles to Husker Auto Group because if there eye for detail and quick service and done right the first time, the service person that I always take are vehicles to is Marty Upton, I trust everything that he has always talked with me when it comes to our vehicles. When needing to make a appointment they are always wanting to work with our schedule and not what works for the company. I would recommend Husker Auto Group to all our friends and family

I was looking for a vehicle that had certain things and they did everything they could to find it. They made a trade with another dealership for the car that I wanted and went and picked it up. They even beat the prices of the competitors and switched the wheels to the ones that I wanted. They were awesome!!!

Everyone at Husker Auto was extremely friendly and informative. I wandered into the dealership not knowing much about the Chevy Trax and Gabriel was helpful and made the entire experience enjoyable. I had some reservations on monthly payments and trade-in values and Husker Auto worked with me for several days to get me the best deal possible without ever harassing me during my work day like other dealerships had done. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wow, where do I begin? First off, I have never enjoyed vehicle shopping, in my mind its always salesmen coming at you like vultures trying to get your business, its never appealing nor something I look forward to. It was not like that here at Husker Auto. I was very fortunate to have a few friends who are employed there, one who I grew up with, Lucas, and one I served in the Military with, Kraig. It was nice to come in and see familiar faces, and know right way I knew I would not be pressured into a buy. With the help from Lucas and Kevin, we eventually found the right vehicle for myself and my family. I could not be more thankful for everyone I came across during the whole process, and will highly recommend this dealership to my friends. Thank you all so much for how enjoyable the whole process was! Big shout outs to Lucas, Kevin, Kraig, Jack and even got to talk to Terry quite a bit!

My dealings with the Husker Group was long distance. It was my Son Phillip who had problems with his 2016 Chevy Cruz, there in Lincoln. My primary point of contact was with Opal Vance, the Service Manager. I found Ms Vance to be very knowledgeable in determining the exact problem with the car (sugar in the gas) and very helpful dealing with my insurance company (State Farm), and helping with a car rental. I was calling Ms Vance from Athol, Massachusetts several times and I either got her on the phone right away or she made certain to call me right back. The car was fixed right away and is running well. My son Phillip and I want to thank the Husker group and especially Opal Vance for your wonderful service. Sincerely,James Chastneyps: go Cornhuskers

I have worked with Paul Siggia for several years now, as this is the third vehicle between my wife and I that we have leased from him. Paul is always awesome to work with. I don't normally offer much in the way of praise for people I feel are doing their job, but Paul and the rest of the staff at Husker Auto truly go above and beyond to make us feel welcome there and to make the car buying experience as pleasant and seamless as possible. Also, Tom Winckler in finance did not outstanding job of getting me through the process quickly and efficiently while being extremely friendly and easy to talk to. We will continue to trust Husker Auto and Paul with out business and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

We were NOT IMPRESSED with this dealership tonight! There were 3 dents that were not mentioned before we drove all the way there...and when we asked them to take them out (at their $250 cost) the response was that they are throwing in the FLOORMATS!!! Um, am I crazy or should a 2015 come WITH FLOORMATS? Not exactly what I'd call good customer service - what a waste of time. PS- be prepared for a RIDICULOUS documentation fee! (Like an additional $450-Ish after all is said and done. Don't waste your time!

Our brand new vehicle purchase made with Husker Auto Group fell thru - on their end. Everything was completed, with the exception of them handing us the keys. ALL of the details were discussed. ALL of the warranty was reviewed. ALL of the paperwork was filled out AND signed. EVERYTHING was complete... even down to the 'In Transit' signs. However, the vehicle we agreed upon was located in KC, and was actually unavailable. We understand things happen. We could have lived with that, and worked with them to find another vehicle, but...Although we were told that they would keep us informed when the other dealership was contacted, when the vehicle arrived in Lincoln and again when the vehicle was ready for us to pick up the keys... the calls never came. All this, we were told, would take place in the next 3-4 days. It was only after we contacted them a week later did we learn ANYTHING! On our first call (Kathy was unavailable so I asked to speak with someone in Sales and was connected with David)... I asked about our purchase and his response was "oh I don't know. Let me check into that and I will personally call you back in 15-20 minutes." The call never came. I finally called back 2 1/2 hours later... and we were informed at that time that the sale fell thru. My question to him was "okay...and you were going to tell us this... when?" Long story short... as I questioned "now what" I was told numerous times that "we're really busy today. It's the last day of the month and we're just really really busy." Seriously?? Each and every person that walks into that dealership on the last day of the month is a potential customer. A POTENTIAL customer! We WERE a customer. I asked "what does this mean for us? We left a deposit check with you and were told if we backed out of the deal, you would keep the deposit. That made sense to us. But now what? So what's in this for us? You broke the deal. Now what?" I was quickly informed "oh we would never keep your check. We don't operate like that. Who told you that?" And "those vehicles are really popular right now. There just aren't many of them available. We'll keep trying to find one for you... if that's what you want. But we're just really busy today." Blah... blah... blah...After discussion on our end and a total of three phone calls, we decided we would take our business elsewhere. Again, we understand that things happen. Deals fall thru. But the idea that we were not kept informed... on anything... given the 'heads up' about the situation, given the opportunity to decide on our end what we wanted to do next... whether we wanted them to "keep trying to find one" or whether we chose to go with something completely different... was very disappointing. I informed David that we just wanted our paperwork back - ALL of the paperwork that we had signed, anything that had our information or names on it. Was this too much to ask? I left one more message for Kathy as well. As the salesperson we had dealt with, I asked that she give us the curtesy of seeing our request be taken care of ASAP. She informed me that she would, and that she would follow-up with us to make sure we had received it. But I never heard from Kathy again. And... another week later we still hadn't received the paperwork. Although I left a couple of messages, those calls were not returned. It was only after I contacted corporate GMC with my concerns, that we were immediately connected back with Husker Auto. As I repeated our experience, first to Dana and later to Terry, their reactions were of surprise. Interesting to us though... after Dana "looked into where our paperwork was" and a return call was made to me stating "apparently David dropped it in the outgoing US mail on Saturday" (six days prior)... it was not immediately clear to us that... no, it had not been dropped in outgoing mail on Saturday, as we had been informed. It in fact, arrived the next day, clearly marked... 'Priority Overnight' and was delivered by FedEx. Why was there a need to lie about it? Why not be honest and just tell me they had 'dropped the ball', but they would immediately see to the task. That said, not everything was returned in the overnight delivery and yet another call was made requesting the remainder of our personal information, which we did receive via USPS the next day. After my contact with Dana, I received a call from Terry. During my conversation with him I repeated to him too, that we understand deals fall thru, but that is not what disappointed us. Rather the lack of care, the lack of concern and the failure to keep us informed caused our disappointment. He did his best to apologize, wanted to know what they could do and encouraged us to let them help us locate the vehicle we wanted. I told him that wasn't necessary; that we had ordered our vehicle of choice at another dealership. I repeated to him "I just want our paperwork." He offered me a gift card for a meal. I repeated "I just want our paperwork." He offered to extend an additional two years of free oil changes on our new vehicle, even though we were purchasing at another dealership. I again repeated "I just want our paperwork." He asked me to stop by sometime and visit with him face-to-face for five minutes, so that in the future we would feel wanted and welcome at Husker Auto. Once more I told him "I just want our paperwork." Our business with Husker Auto is behind us. We will never drive thru their lot again. We will never deal with them again. But our experience with Husker Auto is one that I would hate to have repeated with anyone else. They were interested in making a sale. They were interested in taking our money. The deal was made and numerous handshakes were given. The only thing we didn't do... was 'ring the gong'. We were going to do that when we picked up the keys...

Kevin Mitchell found solutions to every roadblock that came along. He got me a monthly payment that I could afford and with no money down. There was no rushing and I was able to test drive the cars at my leisure.Upon inspection of the car that I had decided to purchase, they noticed a tire in bad shape, so they replaced all four with brand new Tiger Paws. I took the car in on a Friday to have the car inspected and they gave me a 2016 Monte Carlo to drive for the weekend and then until Tuesday when the car was finished being inspected and the tires replaced. The car is sound mechanically and looks great. They took great care of me and Kevin always makes time for me when I stop by. Don't waste your time running everywhere else in town. I checked them out online and found a truck I liked and inquired about it online, Dirk from the sales staff gave me a call and sent me some more pictures of it. I live 5 hours away and they were very easy to work with over the phone and we made a deal without me even seeing the truck. Dirk and the staff are easy to work with I would recommend them to anybody looking for a new vehicle!

Bryan, Lindsay, and team were just perfect to deal with. I purchased my car over the phone. The negotiation process was easy and fair for both parties. I flew to Omaha and they had a driver waiting on me. They were prepared when I arrived and the paperwork was quick and easy. The driver they sent to pick me up, Randy, was as nice as they come and a very careful driver. Like most high line buyers, it's just as much about the experience as the deal. This was a great experience and a good deal. I'll be back...

What great experiences! These guys are amazing. So where do I begin? In 2011 I bought my BMW 328ix I did my research, picked my color and options. When I visited with salesman, he explained they did not have that car. So you would think they would sell me what they had. This was not the case! They searched other dealerships working further and further outward until the found the car! Score! After the purchase they followed up making sure everything was perfect. In the four years since, I had two of the greatest service advisors. They cared about me as a customer and loved my car as much as me! Never a problem, always anticipating my needs. To Amy R. And Jessica M. You are terrific. Thank you so much! The Beemer is running fine. Now, everyone can have a great experience, right?I returned and was looking to upgrade my SUV. I returned to Husker Auto Group and told them what I needed. Again they went to work and found the perfect vehicle. To my salesman Dirk, you listen to what I needed. Made suggestions and delivered yet another perfect vehicle. Your service did not end there! At every step, each member excelled at getting me what I needed.Score again. To Dirk, you da man!To Alan, your help before during and after the sale was stellar! To Lucas, what a great team you have! Each outstanding in their own right, and each working to get her to make this another great experience. And Lets not forget Kraig! Thank you for finishing up the deal.Hooah! Hooyah! Ooah! To everyone, thank you for your service and acknowledging mine!

I had a very good idea as to what I was looking for. My salesman, Fariad, showed me the ones that met my criteria. he was very knowledgeable, and patient. My trade in was appraised at a fair price, and when it came time to negotiate, the process was very upfront, transparent, and essentially painless. I feel like we were treated fairly, and got a respectable deal, for both parties involved.

I recently purchased a used silver 2004 Volkswagen R32 from the Husker Auto Group. Prior to the purchase, I noticed in one of the pictures what appeared to be a smudge or scratch on the hood of the vehicle near the VW emblem. When I asked the sales person he ensured me there were no scratches on the hood of the vehicle (I have the email traffic to prove it). After agreeing on a purchase price and flying to Nebraska from Virginia, I inspected the vehicle and test-drove it. Much to my surprise, the front VW emblem was damaged and there were deep scratches up the hood of the vehicle. When I confronted the sales person about the scratches, he claimed he did not know about them and he asked the manager to take some money off of the purchase price or fix the vehicle in their collision center; they refused to do either. Additionally, I asked if they would ask a sister dealership near my hometown to fix the vehicle and they refused that remedy as well. Knowing I flew into town on a one-way ticket and having to leave, they knew they had me in a hard place with no where to go. Now Im stuck with nearly a $1,000 repair bill after purchasing a misrepresented vehicle. So, if you intend to fly into Nebraska to purchase a vehicle sight unseen from the Husker Auto Group be sure you do your homework before committing to non-refundable travel arrangements and purchasing a vehicle from them.

My husband and I went into Husker Auto Group and worked with Kathy Snider. This is our second vehicle within 2 years that we have bought from her. She was the best and most helpful salesperson that we've ever come across in the 20 years we've been buying and selling our family vehicles! Not only did she find us exactly what we wanted but also gave us a dependable and durable family car for years to come. If you are in need of a vehicle right away or want to shop the lot, Kathy is definitely the person to get in contact with. We decided to go with leasing our vehicle because our family situation will change within a few years. Tom Winckler in the financing office at Husker was very honest and helpful when it came to giving us our options for our lease. They were willing to work with us on price and gave us a great deal! Thank you Husker Auto for all that you do for us! We look forward to our next vehicle purchase!

I will never set for in this place again, I wish I could rate it zero stars. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They used me as a number to fill some sales quota they must have. Applied for financing on Friday, told i was approved and to come in Saturday to test drive some cars. Found a car, told me I got approved to lease, filled out all the paperwork. They provided me with vin number, I bought insurance, they took my starting payment. Due to my cosigner being out of state, they said they would overnight get the paperwork on Monday and as long as they got them back Wednesday I could pick the car up Wednesday evening. My cosigner never received paperwork, I called my sales guy Paul, who now was oblivious to why the paperwork never got sent. He told me to stop in Thursday. I stop in they all acted like imbeciles; the fiance manager told me nothing was ever approved, I needed to find a car I liked and we could go from there, isn't that what I did on Saturday? So another man came and helped as at this point I was pissed. The found me another car, I asked is my credit going to be ran again, his reply, "no" we already did that. Know I have credit karma so any time my credit is affected I'm notified via email. They ran 4 hard credit inquiries, when I brought this to their attention, they played like they didn't know what I was talking about. So I showed them as they swore they were soft inquiries, yet I had proof they weren't. So I requested they stop this whole process, something seemed fishy. Never in all my car buying experience have I signed paperwork for a car before I was even aprroved, only after the deal was final and legit with the bank. This was complete sketchiness on their part. So when I demanded for my money back, they offered to refund to my card, then a check. I stood my ground and demanded cash. Not once did I get an apology after this point. Worse dealership ever and I've seen some bad ones before. Steer Clear of Husker Chevy in Lincoln. (There was one guy there that was sincere about this whole situation, wish I caught his name, he was from DC, he was the best part of this horrible experience)

I drove over the next day in a 1999 Grand Prix I owned for 15 years and drove home in a used 2015 Silverado High Country diesel. It's an amazing vehicle. Generally the expierience of buying my car was good ti excellent until the warranty. I was told i was geting the platinum warranty and was slipped on the paperwork the silver plan, which is Drastically different. Was told would civer bumper to bumper, paint chips, any part that goes out within 60,000 miles. Then when the paperwork was made upthe financier slipped me the silver plan which ONLY covers parts that r scheduled to go out after 100,000 mi. Which is as long as the the length of the silver pmans warraty + the miles that were already n the car. READ WHAT U SIGN, WHAT IS SAID WASNT WHAT WAS ON THE PAPER CONTRACT. They slipped me a lower warranty after telling me i was getting the high tier of warranty. My fault for not paying attention i guess, but i took robert at his word when i shouldve READ and PAID ATTENTION to what the paper actually said. Other than the warranty LIE buying my car was a pleasure....

Watch out for the Service Center Scam. I took my daughters care there with an acceleration issue. They told me it had a $950 break issue that had to be fixed before they could diagnose the acceleration problem. The breaks worked fine as my 16 year old daughter drove the car there to have it looked at. I am not saying it didn't possibly have some kind of break issue but no so catastrophic that it was not driveable. I didn't want to put $950 into the car, just find out there was something else with the acceleration (such as catalytic converter) that would not be financially a good idea to fix based on the value of the vehicle. I told them to put it back together and I would take it somewhere else to be looked at. When I went to pick it up, it was completely undriveable with no breaks at all. I then get a call from the service person that a technician in the service department wanted to buy my daughters car for $500. I don't know if the offer was from the person that worked on my daughters car but I found that to be very distasteful business practice. I really came across to me as a scam.

My scores would probably be lower if I hadn't pretty much decided to get the car before I went. While I was taking the test drive, they wrote up the paperwork to push the sale. They were also super aggressive about financing, even though (or possibly because) I'd already secured a loan elsewhere and knew they couldn't beat my rate. After the paperwork, I said I'd come back the next day with the money to finalize it; they said they'd take this time to clean and detail the car. It's a hatchback, and after taking it home, I put down the back seats and discovered a LOT of dirt and dead leaves under there, like a potted plant had fallen over. Maybe I should have caught this at the lot, but they definitely should have when they were cleaning it. I got a great car at a great price, but I won't go back and can't recommend them to anyone else.

The staff was unpleasant. The staff ignored me when I walked in (besides the mechanics who were gawking), I had to wait 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, a lady was mid conversation with me and then turned her attention to a mechanic to talk about silliness and then she walked away, the man who gave me the loaner was unkind. Besides one man who was the one to give me back my cadillac, He was very kind and customer service oriented. He was sure that I was happy and let me know of a recall that is on my 2014 Caddy and assured me that I was taken care of. He should get a raise & be honored for being the only one (out of 6 employees) who focused on the customer. Other customers were present and seemed to feel ignored as well. I have purchased 7 cars from dealerships and never once was i responsible to fill up the loaner car's gas tank back the the level it was when it was given to me. $5 of gas made you loose a future client and referrals from a well networked customer.

Sales staff was friendly. Felt like we received the price we wanted. Felt rushed to take the vehicle home that night, which we did. Gas tank was empty so we had to fill it up so we could make it home. Car was not detailed very well (bugs in the glove compartment, stickers on the seat, grease fingerprints on headliner). We have been offered another detail, but that means driving clear across town to drop the car off for the day. Didn't spend very much time with showing us all the details of the car. Again, asked us to drive back to have this done. Was unable to meet with the finance person the night we bought the car. Waited 45 minutes and he still wasn't available. Had to come back the next day to do the financing. Our license plate cover was thrown away and replaced with a Husker Auto cover. We have been asked to provide the website where the cover was purchased so hopefully it will get replaced.

I had reached out to them about buying a car listed and they were very response by e-mail and phone answering every and any question that I had. I explained that I was out of state and would fly in to inspect the car and buy on site. They pressured for a $500 non-refundable credit card deposit which I filled out and sent it. Two separate individuals (a salesman and the sales manger) said they would get right back to me with details and a receipt. Thinking we had a deal, and being prepared to forfeit the deposit should I change my mind I purchased a non-refundable one way plane ticket to go. When they never got back to me I called several times - leaving messages and I never got a response. I learned only by rechecking cars.com that they had sold the car out from underneath me without a courtesy call. I checked and they did not charge my credit card for the deposit like they said they had - but I am out the cost of a plane ticket to Nebraska. At several times and stages in the process they acted unprofessionally and unethically. I have bought many many cars and if they operated in such a manner on the marketing and pre-sale side, I'm sure that there were misrepresentation on the vehicle itself or a re-trade awaiting when I arrived.

At this point I am beyond livid with Husker Auto Group. I originally leased a 2011 Chevy Cruze, from Chevy Beardmore of Bellevue. When the lease ended, I decided to go to Husker Auto Group to finance the car. That is when my nightmare began....Back in March, before the lease ended, I already registered the car. When I explained this, I was told that I could finance the sales tax into the loan, and not have to worry about any additional fees. So I went along with it, and repeatable asked if the sales tax was included in the loan, I was told yes.It took 30 days for them to get my title. Then they called me to pick it up, and this was on day 30 in the evening. So I went to the DMV, to what I thought was to drop off the title and go. Once I signed everything, I was told I had to pay 1300 dollars for sales tax.I went back over to Husker Auto Group, and told them what happened. They told me that it was no longer their problem, the deal was done and I needed to pay for it. I fought them for at least 5 hours trying to get them to reimburse me for the sales tax. They tried to get me to take out a personal loan, or try to pay them back. I refused outright demanding that they reimburse me for their mistake. They still wouldn't budge, but said they would trade in my car for the same model, newer year. I asked for the repercussions, this was the first time I had an issue with a dealership, and they said there were none. I test drove the car, and it didn't feel right. I asked them for other options, they said there were none. It was either this car, or go home. So ignorantly I went along with it, they said they would handle the sales tax of my old car and this one.I honestly thought everything was resolved, not what I wanted but I felt like I had no choice. Not a week later, I had mechanical issues, this was a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT, the air compressor blew out and was leaking Freon. I took it in, and they repaired it at no cost (GM Certified). The other issue was, is that the USB port was not working. I pointed this out to the sales manager and demanded out of the deal. They wouldn't help me out. Once again I felt like I was getting played, but I was willing to give it a few weeks.Barely 2 weeks later, I found out my car had a climate control sensor, which just decided to start working and turned off my AC (and it was above 90 degrees!). Took the car in again, and demanded out of the deal and they still wouldn't help me.They finally decided to help me, after the 30 days, and then they told me about $10,000 negative equity on the loan. Which blew me away, because I was under the impression there were no negative repercussions and I was in no way shape or form told this. Granted I should have asked/knew how to read the details in the deal. But I felt it was their responsibility to disclose ALL details.I know I am partly at fault for letting them play me twice, but I refused to back down from this. I kept asking them to absorb the negative equity, due to all the headache and bad business practiced. They said they did nothing wrong and would not absorb it. All they would do is try to throw a base model car, and throw a bunch of rebates at it. But my car payments would go above $500, which they knew was way beyond my budget.I warned them that if this wasn't resolved, I was going to the BBB. They didn't take me seriously, and said there was nothing they could do. I then reported them to the BBB and a week later they called me not understanding why I reported them. They wanted me to withdraw my complaint, prior to meeting with them. I told them I would meet with them and depending on the results will determine if I am satisfied. After that they refused talk to me.I tried the Attorney General, but they were no help either. I finally go a hold of the General manager, but he told me that they do not include sales tax in loans. Despite several sites, and contacts say otherwise. I argued with him for about 30-45 minutes. Got the same info as before, and was told they would not help me.I am sorry for the long story, but for your own sake/sanity DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

I was very pleased with the salespeople at Husker Auto Group. It was the best experience I've ever had in buying a car. The salespeople were helpful and polite. Look online while your there watch the prices evidently they put small prices online and then charge you $5000 extra once you picked a vehicle. They said they do that to bring customers in how does that work???? Usually people start high and then go lower hmm. Who's in charge?? If the deal is off good luck getting your money back they refuse to pay you! I left my trade in with them 4 sets of head phones for entertainment system were stolen they tell me to file a claim with my insurance company "WHAT" that's crazy, my van was littered with beer cans and fast food really!! that's disrespectful! They tell you, you can't drive of the lot without gap insurance and warranty. What a joke just so you know that's false look it up you don't have to purchase either look up the warranty company as well they tell you bumper to bumper wires and all also false look up reviews!!!!?

If you had a bad experience at a car dealer you were not at Husker Auto Group. We were treated as if the sale of our auto would make or break their business. They went beyond the normal of doing business. Example: We had ruined a tire on the vehicle we were trading in and could not get new tire until the following Monday so we could not drive it to Lincoln NE. We live approximately 150 miles from Lincoln. They let us return home with the new XTS on that Saturday and on the following Tuesday they drove our second vehicle out to Holdrege and picked up the CTS we had traded in. Few deletes would have went the extra mile as they did. If you want a good experience and a good deal SHOP HUSKER AUTO!

Long story short, they sold a car after I gave them my credit card for the deposit and then lied to cover their tracks. I researched their story and found out it was all one big lie. They tried to tell me the title was bad and the car was being shipped to another state and it couldn't be sold to me. I called the dealership in the other state and that's when I found out they were lying. The title was never bad. They sold the car to someone in Las Vegas. When I found out what was going on they ignored my texts and phone calls. They are unethical and I would never recommend doing business with the used car side.

I inquired about a truck that I found on cars.com. I was contacted quickly and told the truck was available. My husband called them and they told him, "it had been on the lot for months with no interest and just sold 2 days ago." He was then told that they work with other dealers and could find us the same truck. They did, and added $6000 to the price. My husband told them we were no longer interested. Since then (over a week ago) they have called me at least once a day and last night at 8:45. This borders on harassment.

The only negative I have to say about the whole experience, I was promised a full tank of gas however, I got half a tank the main complaint for the amount of money I'll end up paying for the vehicle the least they could have done was detail the car it literally came from the old owner to me dirty and all I also felt they could have at least gave us new or matching tires some floor mats would have been nice.

Didn't totally hate my experience there just lacked in detail. In two ways, the sales guy we worked with had a little problem listening and catching the things we needed to have fixed on the car we were trading in for. After the 5th time pointing things out they stilled missed some of the agreed on fixes. The major ones were covered but their detail person sure could use some help. There was pop all over the mirriors, they didn't bother to vaccum out the peanuts in the console, and there were other stains that other dealerships have taken care of because sometimes its the small this that impress. As far as the other aspects of working with them it wasn't the worst experiance I have had.

In all my years of owning a multitude of vehicles I have never experienced a more inept, slimy group of individuals than at Husker Auto Group. We purchased a 2010 BMW X5 in December, 2012. When we purchased this vehicle we were very specific about wanting a car with absolutely no damage history and in immaculate condition. The response we received from salesman Bill Chapman was that this vehicle had all the features we wanted, had no damage history and was in great condition. We looked over the car, negotiated a price and trade in value. Our first clue that something was awry should have been when the first round of paperwork was presented and our trade in was listed at $1000 less than agreed upon. Catching that issue and presenting the correct numbers, we signed the paperwork and drove away.Four months later the backup camera works only intermittently and we notice a leak on our garage floor and take the X5 back into the dealership for inspection. They found the oil cooler and radiator to be leaking. Though we thought this to be odd with a car that only had 45,000 miles, it was repaired under factory warranty. The dealership also replaced the wiring harness to the review camera system. A couple months and a few thousand miles later I get a notification that the engine oil is a quart low. Add oil immediately or risk damaging the engine. I found an auto supply store off the interstate and poured in a quart. Again, I thought this to be a strange thing to have happen to a BMW with 52,000 miles on the odometer and began to have my suspicions about the vehicle. A few months later at 62,000 miles the A/C stops working on a 90 degree day and the car overheats and shuts down, leaving my wife stranded on the side of the road. We let the vehicle cool and limp it home. I call Husker and get the car into the shop the next morning. My wife and I are now convinced the car we were sold was not what we were told we were buying. We read the reviews and overall history of this model and had yet to see anything that would hint at such issues. Husker informs us the X5 needs a new water pump, the A/C system needs new seals and recharged and the engine has a crank seal leak (which explains the low oil alarm mentioned above). Plus the car needed brakes, rotors, an oil change, spark plugs, fuel injection flush and decarbon service. I have no issue with replacing the brakes, rotors, plugs and an oil change as those are consumable items with any vehicle. However, when we received the laundry list of major mechanical failures we began to talk with other dealerships about trading off the vehicle. We were then informed by these other dealers that our X5 had been in an accident prior to our purchase, though this certainly explains the plethora of problems we had with this vehicle. We brought this to the attention of BMW North America and received nothing more than an "I'm sorry about your experience but there is nothing we can do". We also brought this to the attention of Bill Chapman at Husker BMW. After noting that we were extremely upset with the problems we'd been having with the vehicle and that we were sold a vehicle that had been in an accident when we were assured it hadn't, we wanted our problems addressed and this issue solved. After a few days of phone calls and emails the best offer he makes is to give us marginally more ($500-1000) for our car on trade-in than what other dealers were offering. Since this obviously doesn't solve the problem that we were sold a damaged car as one that was damage free I began to leave voicemails with the latest general manager, Robert Knowles. I receive absolutely no response until I make it clear that I will not be returning the loaner vehicle they provided until our problem is solved. I finally receive a call from Mr. Knowles. During the first few minutes of the conversation he is absolutely livid. I receive statements of "you can't hold my loaner car hostage", "this (keeping the loaner) is costing me money and inconveniencing my customers" and "either you return the car by tomorrow morning or I will report it as stolen and have you arrested". Keep in mind these are quotes coming from the MANAGING PARTNER who had been avoiding my phone calls for days. These quotes are also directed at a CUSTOMER who simply has a problem he wants solved. I ended up having to be the one to calm down an irate GM when, in all practicality, as the customer who was sold a vehicle under false pretenses I should be screaming at him. He finally calms down and suggests that they (he and Bill) put together a "smoking deal" on something different. I agree to listen to their ideas over the next couple days.A few more emails back and forth with Bill over the following days results in the best "smoking deal" they will provide is simply a few hundred more for my X5 on trade than what I had been quoted by other dealers. They will also offer $500 off another vehicle on their lot. I would still be responsible for $2000 of maintenance fees plus all the miscellaneous doc fees and such. I receive absolutely no acknowledgement of the fact that they both sold me a lemon and sold me a vehicle that had an accident history as one that had no damage whatsoever. I am now stuck with a car that I don't trust to make it 50 miles down the road, let alone on a family road trip. Never before in my life have I had more problems with a vehicle and a dealership.

I took my 2005 Chrysler 300 into them to sell because I am a father of three that desperately needed money. I was first offered 9000 on Kelly Blue Books instant quote offer from them but when I get there Husker Auto ran another quote and dropped it down to 7000. Unfortunately I needed money bad so I sold my car to them after I was told I would not got more then that anywhere else because of the accident history. (My "accidents" consisted of a hit and run in the mall where someone backed into my bumper while I was inside which I had fixed by them right away because I had full coverage and didn't want my baby to look bad. The other "accident" was during this winter in which a snow drift cracked the front bumper because the car sits so low. I quickly had this fixed as well. Instead of just replacing the bumper the replaced the bumper, the grill and a headlight even which I believe was WAY more then needed to be done but I am gullible and went with it anyway) Long story short I get suckered into selling my car for way less then I wanted to and the next day I look on there website and what do I see? My car for sale already (No way they went through and thoroughly checked it) for 5000 dollars more! They tell me I wouldn't be able to get anymore then 7000 and the next day they are selling it for almost double what they paid me? I hope no one gets suckered into selling your car because you are desperate for money like I was. Check the carfax always before buying a car, especially from these sharks!

I wrote one month ago about Husker Auto Group, on how they quoted me one price for my trade-in, only to find that in the final paperwork, they reduced that price by about $2,000. Today I am here to tell you that I went to the DMV to get License Plates for the Honda I bought from them, and in 30 days, they have not delivered the changed Title to the DMV. As a result, I was unable to get License Plates. I had to pay the state sales tax, otherwise I would have been charged a penalty. But my Temporary In Transit papers are now out of date i.e. they expired on 3/30/2014 and yet I can't license the car! So this car dealership wastes your money, is high pressure to get you to buy a car, lies to you during the negotiation, and then is slow to get the paperwork to the DMV, wasting your time as well. This is the absolute worst experience i have ever had purchasing a vehicle and I will never purchase a vehicle from them again. Sincerely; Arnold Radloff Lincoln, NE. ;

The staff was very friendly and huskers prices were 4 to 5 thousand lower than most other dealers... I have bought 2 cars from husker and they treated well on both deals... I would definitely recommend them for all of your vehicle needs.. They gave me more for my trade than any other dealer.....

Do Not Trust Husker Auto Group! My salesman Sean Speth lied to me regarding the trade in allowance for my 2007 Hyundai Tuscon. We had negotiated it to be $5700.00 But the final Retail Installment Sales Contract that I was given to sign had an amount of $4,650 for Gross Trade-In Allowance! I will never look at buying a vehicle from Husker Auto Group again!

First off, we drove down to Husker Auto Group from Omaha, for a vehicle who one hr before, said they had the vehicle we wanted-When we got there, was told it had sold 2 days ago:( So, we looked a 2006 MiniCooperS Conv.- It had a broken right front wheel, and missing wind screen, etc. A few other things. So they got a wrong wheel in, had to take it back a week later to get the wheel put on. Besides supposedly doing a 26 point inspection on the car, we specifically asked that the vehicle be aligned, all tires balanced, and brakes, suspension be checked. They assured us it would be done. We were there for about 45 mins Keep in mind an alignment takes over 2 hrs.)waiting for the wheel to be put on and test drove, and alignment, etc. The BMW sales manager assured me it had all been taken care of and they would get us windscreen also. We hardly drive the car that much- since june we have put 1900 miles on it. (that's 6 mos.-that's only 320 miles per month driven. Last week we had new tires put on and they told us the alignment was off. They cdn't do it, so took to Mini in Omaha dealer. They aligned it, (which was suppose to have been done in Lincoln and this process takes 2.5-3hrs to do. At a cost of 205,00. They also told us the right front strut was bent!, (remember the broken wheel?_) someone hit a curb hard enough to break the wheel and now we find, bent the strut. The dealership claimed no knowledge how the rim got bent or the windscreen disappeared, etc. So I called the manager about the so called alignment and he refused. Said it had been 5 months. Yes it had, but we had taken them at their word they did the alignment and 26 point check. If they had, they would have seen the bent strut either way or both. We feel they were less than honest with us regarding the condition of the vehicle and also as to what repairs they did.So, I am going to call the general manager in the morning, and if I don't get a satisfactory solution to the problem(s), we will be taking the legal route. No way I would recommend this dealer to anyone. There were other problems in not doing things way they claimed and/or were very very slow in getting things done. Terrible way to do business. Whoever owns Husker Auto group needs to look very closely on how things are done there. They are losing business and/or repeat business do to it.

Worst shopping experience ever! These guys are crooks. They tried to sell me $5,000 in extended warranties on a 2012 vehicle and said additional warranties were required in order to secure financing. What a bunch of bull. When I discovered their deception, they refused to correct and/or adjust the loan. Subsequently I contacted the authorities and they went behind the scene and cancelled the loan without informing me. Unprofessional conduct of Robert Knowles the General Manager. So if the head is corrupt; the body follows! BUYER BEWARE! READ THE REVIEWS!!

These guys should be investigated for felony fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud in my opinion. They lure people in from out of town with competitive deals in writing any time they are approached with a competitor's price they claim to beat it. Once they get you into town, that's another matter entirely. They refuse to finish the execution of a deal they've send IN WRITING and you've accepted even after all of the loan paperwork and other things have been put into motion. They work you with the old 1-2 punch and there you are........ having traveled many miles and NO car. Wear a wire and record every word from these lousy sacks. Unethical implies there is an understanding of what ethics are - this is highly doubtful.

I recently purchased 2010 BMW 335i coupe from BMW of Lincoln which I found on cars.com. The buying process was weird, the salesman would only communicate with me via text messages or emails. I tried to call him but he only responded once in ten times I called. When I received the car it didn't have temporary license plate, it took the dealer about 3 days to just get the temp plate to me. The following day after I received the car I noticed that the front wheels look uneven, so I decided to take it to a local BMW dealer. It tuned out that the left front strut was bent and the dealer refused to replace it under warranty because bent strut is considered wear and tear. The local BMW dealer quoted me 1400$. I contacted BMW of Lincoln and was told by one of their sales mangers that they will take care of it. I waited 2 days and called them back. The sales manager told me that he is still working on it. This was the last time I was able to reach that sales manager. I tried to speak with other managers, no luck. Finally I decided to speak with General Manager, who basically told me that I need to bring the car back to their dealership, which is 600 miles away. I ended up taking the car to a local auto repair shop and they charged me 570$, including BMW OEM strut and alignment. This was the worst car purchasing experience in my life. I don't recommend purchasing from BMW of Lincoln.

Parts on the car warping because they are cheap ebay replacements, my warenty disapeared, they are just plain crooked and do not care about their customers. Had breif contact with the used ar sales manager jeff tubbs. But he stopped responding. Do not buy from them, you will not be happy! They agreed to replace the dash and rims upon purchase then backed out, oil was black when i changed it

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Bought a brand new BMW with zero pressure. They didn't even try to sell me the extended warranty! Everyone I dealt with was great, but Bill Chapman was the best. He made sure I knew the features of my new car, took me on a spirited test drive to highlight the different transmission settings, and answered every question I had, even after the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from them and will send them as much business as I can.

I found a 2002 BMW 330ci on the internet that had just been taken in by your dealership a few weeks ago. I contacted a sales person named Tanner Finkhouse and discussed this car with him. It had just been brought in and pictures or cleaning hadnt even been done on it. The car only had 35000 miles on it and Tanner told me he would find out more about it and call me back as I live South of Denver in Colorado. The car was in the service department being looked over and having an alternator replaced on it. I had conversations with Tanner about the condition and general state of the car and he told me he could only find 5 dents in the roof and trunk areas and the car had been checked out by BMW and it is as close to new as can be with only 35000 miles on it. You were asking $13800 and I told him I would purchase it at that as a total out the door price. Good for you guys. I noticed some dash lights on and asked him to make sure that no service lights or any dash warning lights were on. He said the rear brakes needed to be replaced and that the car may have had some hail on it. I asked him to fix the problems and make sure it had a service done as I had a 500 mile plus drive home and he said he would. I flew into town and he was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and drive me to your dealership. He told me there was good news and bad news. Good news you put new tires on the car as the old ones were causing it to drive funny. Bad news you didnt get the dents out of the trunk lid. I said that was fine and we proceeded to your dealership. At the dealership I was able to see the car. Not bad but not exactly as described, the carpet had stains in it, the car had been washed but not waxed for some time, the seatbelt light wouldnt go out, the console lid was broken but all stuff that I was willing to take care of.On the drive home I noticed the brakes acted funny when you stopped. After arriving home the service engine light was on along with the seat belt light. Here is what I I found out. The front control arms, bushings and ball joints were all shot. The cam position sensor was bad.The thermostat was bad and would never close and would throw the code for slow warm upThe drivers seat belt was bad causing the light to stay onThe trunk lights didnt work because the wiring harness was brokenThe new brakes you installed squeak non stopAnd what frustrated me the most was there was no oil change done. When I went to do an oil change, as I have lost faith in your word, it was found that the oil was black, and the filter was crushed, damaged and stuck to the housing. It had to be cut to remove it. The oil had not been changed in some time.Control arms, bushings, ball joints and alignment $950Can position sensor $220Thermostat $225Seat belt $210Wiring harness repair $80Oil change $75I sent Tanner and email about all of this and never heard back from him. I asked why should I have taken a BMW being sold at a BMW dealership to another BMW shop to have it inspected? I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of inspection on a car that is a BMW being sold by a BMW dealership. When the tires were replaced as they tighten the lugs you can see the tires move because of the bad bushings. It is a sad state when you cannot trust the dealer. To date they know if my issues as this is the e-mial, minus a few lines, that I sent them and 2 weeks later till no reply.

Wanting to charge me a "diagnostic" fee for a bumper to bumper full warranty. Not fixing the actual problem with the car. Not telling me about a recall that another Cadillac dealer found. No phone call back when one was promised. Didn't provide a loner car initially, even though this is what I asked for on the phone, (tried to use a shuttle service instead). Staff was not professional, didn't even open the bay doors to let me out of the center, didn't make sure I was satisfied when I left, really just all around horrible experience.

Worst car shopping experience ever!If you're looking for a car dealership that looks like it's on the up-and-up but feels just as sleazy as any run of the mill car lot, head to Husker Auto Group...especially if you want to waste a whole evening. They have incompetent, unknowledgeable, patronizing, shady, discourteous, annoying employees. I don't recommend ever giving them your phone number or other very personal information, unless you're lonely and want calls that keep coming no matter what. Unless they're the only ones who have the exact car you want, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. It took 3ish hours, and we only got to test drive one car. Our salesman, while not inappropriate, tried to be funny or chummy or "relatable," and really just turned us off from buying even more with his off-hand, unprofessional comments. During the test drive, when I asked what certain things did in the car, he said he wasn't sure. After I figured out on my own what certain buttons or settings did or meant, he tried to play it off as "oh, yeah, I knew that, but I didn't want to say anything until we got back and I could look it up."The guy who was dealing with the offer was fairly unprofessional. He used ridiculous terms like "crazy money" or "stupid money" and then he seemed to talk down to my wife when his unprofessional and nonstandard terms didn't make complete sense to her. After he left to get us the "best deal," he never came back. We just had to sit there until our salesman finally went to see what happened. Since the offer guy couldn't give us anything close to what we were looking for, he just decided not to come back at all. Heaven forbid he at least have the courtesy to stop by and tell us that. We definitely weren't worth his time when he realized he wouldn't be making a sale that night. They definitely weren't busy there at the time either. For some reason, after many repeated times telling them my wife's last name changed after we got married when her car has been in for service, they cannot change her name in the system. When our salespeople tried to look stuff up, they couldn't find any information despite our giving them both her current name and her maiden name and telling them it would be under her maiden name. After a few failed attempts and saying they couldn't really find anything, our brilliant helpers finally tried her maiden name and found everything they needed. And now, they keep calling us! My wife and I have both repeatedly asked not to be called from Husker Auto Sales (the service department has been fine to deal with), and, yet, she still gets calls. "Oh hey! We got that one kind of car in that you were looking at. Why don't you come by for a test drive." We weren't interested in that car; it was the only one they showed us, and from that they just assumed that was the car we'd be buying! They have repeatedly pestered her about bringing in her car for a trade-in even though we've told them a few times we aren't interested in trading it in! How many "stop calling us" calls will it take for your sales people to stop calling us? Asking to be put on their do not call list really just slows the calls down. We've even asked the salesman to be specifically told not to call my wife anymore. Well, guess who kept calling at least a few more times! Our whole Husker Auto Sales experience has really just been like an ongoing bad dream. I can't imagine what would've happened had we actually been contractually related to them through a car purchase. I'm so glad we dodged that bullet and found a great car elsewhere. Please, can we finally break up now? It's over. Stop calling, Husker Sales. Service Department, we can still be friends as long as you're okay with us never wanting to hang out with your awful twin brother.

Many shady activities and lack of customer service skills. Even though I had purchased the vehicle on 2-21 and my Intransits were made for 2-23, it was discovered at the DMV that the purchase agreement was dated that I purchased the car on 2-19. I understand that dealerships have to pay additonal fees for each week used cars sit on their lots and as the one I purchased had just come in (had not even been detailed yet) that they changed the date on the purchase agreement without my acknowledgement to save themselves some fees. I was in the DMV prior to 2-23 but after 2-19 and the system was trying to charge me for LATE fees for registering my car. Fortunately, I had a nice DMV who removed the late fees. I went in knowing what I wanted and what I wanted to spend and got put into a car that I was not happy about. I was told it was the only way if I wanted the car. After I signed the papers, I asked to go get into my old car being traded in to obtain my personal items. I was told that it was a done deal and everything in that car was now property of Husker Auto. I was furious and was then told by the sales rep that it was a joke. I did NOT think this was funny because if I had been a push over, I may have walked away and I assume I would not have been told otherwise. Promises made by the manager were not followed through with and I had to call in complaints and make constant reminders to be sure they held up their end of the deal. I will not ever work with Husker Auto again.

BUYER BEWARE!! The old school used car stereotypes are alive and well here, at least with the Mercedes/BMW group. Very deceptive with customer service rating of zero based on a 1-10 scale. Purchased a one year new $60k Mercedes, they covered up that it was a smokers car which I realized two days later when the cover-up wore off. Very dishonest, no disclosure principles, shady as they come. Go buy from someone else. If their practices include these types of activities, think how risky it would be to have them service your car (YOU CAN"T TRUST THEM). They all but admitted to knowledge of what they did with my vehicle, but wouldn't take it back. Pretended to be open to a trade, but lied about the only car I was interested in being sold when it's remains sitting on the lot. Then they offered to take it back less than a week after I purchased the vehicle for thousands less, stating it had depreciated and needed work. If you're looking for a BMW or Mercedes, particularly new, it would be well worth your time to look at Ralph Schomp BMW or Murray Motors BMW/Mercedes just a short drive away in Colorado (they are reputable). Buy from the Husker clowns at significant risk to your vehicle and financial well being. And absolutely stay away from Brian Niebrugge, if you feel compelled to give these cons your hard earned money, minimally work with someone else.

This was the WORST experience that I've ever had purchasing a car. I was looking for a specific car for my wife. It took me about a month until I located one at Husker Auto Group. My sales rep Billie Chapman says he has a 2013 MB C300 white exterior and black interior on his lot. Chapman & I email back and forth from 10/17 to 10/22 and agreed on a price and items to be installed in and on the car. We agreed I would purchase the car if my wife was happy with it after test driving it.First off, we make the 3 hour drive to Lincoln NE to test drive and possibly purchase the car if the test drive was a positive one. During the test drive my wife makes a comment that the car felt the same as the 2012 and she couldn't tell the difference between their 2012 and a 2013. Billie says put the peddle to the floor and you should be able to tell the difference, right, that didn't change anything. Once we get back to the lot, my wife looks at at inventory sheet and the car that we were negotiating was on a 2013 but of course this car was a 2012. Strike one.Secondly, one of the items we agreed on which was part of the sale price was illuminate door sills. Two days after we agreed on price and items, Billie Chapman sends me an email stating he wouldn't be able to do the sills because the price was higher than he expected. He told me the price and I responded by telling him that the price he quoted me is twice as much as MB website. Billie Champman says he looked up the wrong part and the price I told him was correct but he should've looked up the sill price before agreeing to it. He went back to his boss Ryan Mathis and of course they didn't honor the door sills we agreed on. Strike two.Thirdly, the other item was the car was supposed to be a Certified Pre-Owned car which carried an extra year or up to 100,000 miles which ever occurs first. So even though we didn't get the door sills or a 2013 C300, my wife still wanted the car. We're sitting in the finance office to pay for the car and we ask them to provide paperwork that the car is in fact a CPO. The finance guy Justin Bryceson calls someone and he verifies the car is a CPO but it would take some time to get the paperwork says Justin. That should've been a red flag and left on the spot. We continue on to purchase the car. We told Chapman that we would be purchasing the car with our credit card, I love those cash rewards, lol. So we're in the finance office and Justin Bryceson explains we can't purchase the car with a credit card because of NE state laws. So after a minute or two, it was decided that Husker Auto Group would drop off the car at my resident the upcoming Friday and I would give the transporter a cashier check. Strike three.Fourth and final disaster, two days before delivery of the car, Chapman sends me an email stating that MB will not let them certify the car. I call the manager Ryan Mathis and of course he gives me reasons why this is the case. I could care less at this point because this company and their practice is a complete joke. Not only did they not honor our deal, Chapman was so cowardly, every item he revoked on, he didn't even have the decency to call me, he sent emails. Strike four, I know.Fifth thing was the car was delivered without a set of MB key chains that was supposed to be part of the deal. We've had the car since 11/2/12 and we still haven't received them. I emailed Ryan Mathis this morning and he said Billie Chapman will send them out today. If a dealership can't even honor a simple item like sending key chains with the transporter, which they failed to do or mail them to us in a timely manner, what does that say about their professionalism. In closing, I wished I had read these reviews as well as others before dealing with Husker Auto Group because if I did, I would've never contacted this dealership. They are by far the most unprofessional and revoking dealership I've ever dealt with. I have never experienced anything like this before. If I was purchasing this for myself, I would've left when we noticed the car was a 2012 and not a 2013 but my wife wanted the car. I will be purchasing another MB in the near future for myself and you can rest assure, it won't be from Husker Auto Group.I gave them a 3 on friendliness because of the transporter. The transporter was the only good thing about this whole experience. My wife loves the car and at the end of the day, that's all that matters but my review is simply stay away from Husker Auto Group.

Im sorry for the long post but I encourage all of you to post just as much. The worse part this isnt all of it!It all started back when we went to Husker to buy a vehicle to replace my wifes that was just totaled. We went to the used lot because we figured it was the best place since we havent had the greatest credit. We told them we wanted an economical SUV because we were still adding to our family. They pulled out a station wagon like car, the Malibu Maxx. We were first against the whole Malibu family as we loved our Impalas. They haggled with the price a lot, almost excessively. When we finally came to an agreement we went to the finance dept where we decided to get the MPP plan. For those of you who dont know what this is, its their extended warranty company, found out some time later that they are owned by the same people. They needed the car for a few days to do the check points on it to make sure it was all ok for the warranty. In 3 days they added ~340mi, dog hair to the back seat and changed the new tires to some older ones with about 40%. They also changed the brakes and a rear tail light. This is not where it stopped. We needed the power steering taken care of some 2/3 months following, and with paying for the full protection you can get with MPP we figured it would be covered. These years of Malibus and some other models have an electric power steering. GM even had a recall on some models and even other years of the Malibu, mine was not one of them. I was told by Husker that it could not be covered because it is electric power steering, had it been hydraulic they would cover it. It was more along the lines of Its a sensor inside of the power steering, sensors arent covered and you cant change the sensor without changing the power steering. Go figure!About 8 months I think after owning the car the starter needed replaced, they did that under the MPP at no cost and with a Lifetime Parts/Labor one to boot! When this starter needed changed again while I was in sub-zero weather in Fargo, ND; Husker decided that it didnt need covered because it was outside the typical 90 day AC Delco coverage. I asked them for the part number and asked to be transferred to parts. I asked parts for all the information they could give me on this starter. They told me its a lifetime starter. The awesome dealer/service center in Fargo, Gateway Chevrolet, was able to change it out at no cost.Recently it went out again, same problem and all. I gave Husker a call because they were the original replacers and they said with that part number, as long as it was the starter it would be no cost to me.Well I was informed the next day that it was the starter but they couldnt cover it because it had oil intrusion from the oil pressure sending switch which is placed above the starter. Also on the list were several items, some of which I was able to observe myself. The rear driver caliper for the brakes was leaking, I seen the puddle on the ground under the lift, on the tire and the rim. It looked like they opened the bleeder valve and pumped it once. I par the car in the same place every day in front of my house within 6 and there has never been a mark on the street where that tire sits; btw still isnt. They said the inner passenger tie rod end was loose, I knew this from driving. They showed me how the wheel shakes loosely, which I knew. They said they had to replace the entire rack to replace the tie rod end, this is BS. They were trying to get ~$600 out of me on that one. The other things were tail light at about ~$20, oil change, coolant flush, transmission flush etc. They try to tell you that they know they have a bad reputation and they are changing their crew to help make this better. I have to say they are doing a bad job at it! The guy that sits up front in the service dept was the guy I had to deal with on the changed tires, Marty. He said I was trying to call them crooks when I said they changed the tires after purchasing. I asked him at that time to get me the pictures off their web page; he said they dont have access to them. HA!I had them tell me with the starter that if they were to take it as a swap and GM were to examine it, as they do with 95% of them they say, it would be returned and Husker would have to pay back the starter and the labor. It seems to me it would have been easier than all this and the two case numbers I have with GM Customer Service hotline. To put this near closing, I was able to pull out the starter myself and swap it over the counter at a competing dealer where I will go from now on! The way I understand it, since I gave them the original repair order from Husker, they will in some way charge Husker for that starter. So there Husker, you could have just dealt with it but you didnt.I have created a F-Book page in my frustration with this Dealer/Service Center. "Horror at Husker Auto Group", Look it up, hopefully leave a message about your feelings.....

The personal car dealer that I worked with was friendly and easy to trust. After I was turned over to the finance department thats when the lies and deceit began. I had initially denied all extended warranties and services....They offered me the package for $1/mo and I could resist no longer. I was told that because they haven't hit their quota on extended service sales that it was better to give it to me then it was for them not to get credit for the sales. When the monthly statement came out that $1/mo turned into over $8,000 in services I didn't agree with. I was told that my extended warranty went an additional 100,000 miles and and additional 6 years....I bought the car used and it had 44K miles on it. I asked the specific question "so is this warranty good until 144,000 miles?" and they responded "yes". Come to find out after spending thousands the warranty is only good up until 100k miles, so I was given false information about that. There is a wheel and tire insurance that was put on my bill and I was told that 'any wheel and tire damage that you aquire will be covered under the policy' & 'there is room to be dishonest because if you put a nail in your tire then they would have to pay to replace the tire...'It turns out that the only way that I would be compensated'. It turns out that the only way they would pay for wheel damage was if I hit a pot hole so hard that it bent the wheel so bad that it didn't hold a seal to the tire anymore. I could be the dishonest type and just put a nail in my tire, but not being that type of person I decided to decline that insurance as well. The extended services that I did decide to keep was the Zac Tech Premium Exterior and Interior protection plan. I was told that with the Zac Tech Premium exterior service they would put a protective coating on the paint and in the event of door dings or any dents that could be taken care of by paintless dent removal they would cover. Im a student and thought that this would be worth having in case I got a door ding in the school parking lot or what not. I had some unfortunate events one weekend and got 3 small dents in the vertical, passenger side, of my car. When I brought the car in to have it looked at and called their paintless dent removal technician they informed me that the PDR service was an additional plan and that I was not covered under the Zac Tech service plan. All in all I feel like a sucker and that I was lied to in all aspects after I mentioned that I was ready to purchase the car. It was easy to trust the dealer and the dealership, but I feel as if they expect this and they take advantage of people excited to make such a large financial, and life, decision. I also feel like there was deceptive strategy in the finance department in holding the customer for much longer then nessicary, if they know that there is something important that they have to do, so that when the time comes they will just put their signature on the paperwork to get the misery over with. I understand that I am responsible for reading anything I put my signature on, but I made the mistake of trusting one of the most deceitful dealerships I have ever experienced. I wish I would have brought a tape recorder so that I had proof of all the lies and deceit that they put me through in order to sell a single, used, vehicle. I cannot imagine that they would feel like they would continue to sell cars and get repeat customers with the service that I have been given. If I can influence even a single person from making the same mistake that I have, then I feel like I have paid it forward....There are many honest dealerships out there but I don't feel like this is one of them. After talking to many of my friends, I have heard nothing but negative stories about how they have been treated or that the services have been sub-par. I could keep going but I feel like my point has been made and there are many other dealerships around that could provide better customer service. I have not worked with them personally but I have no doubt that they will treat you better, and they will be more truthful, then I have been treated.....Best of luck and I recomend that you dont go into a dealership to make a purchase that day. Take the time to read eveything that you will be signing, and if it takes an extra day or so to get the car of your dreams it will certainly be worth it so that you don't have the same remorse and deception that I have experienced. Sincerely,Dissapointed Client

At 50,000 miles I took my Duramax Sierra in for SEL coming on. They told that the Turbo was "Coked up" and needed to be replaced, luckily it was still under warranty. When I got the truck back I noticed it was leaking coolant, which it had never done before. I took it back in they told me it had nothing to do with the work they had done on it and that it also needed the power stearing hoses replaced. I asked them what caused the coking and was told that "I didn't run it hard enough and should have bought a gas vehicle instead of the diesel". Well, the coolant is leaking again and I'm taking it to another dealership. Hopefully they will be more customer oriented and not just trying to see how much they can make, without taking responsibility for there mistakes.

We bought a supposedly "Certified Used" vehicle from these guys a year and a half ago. The first week we had it the headlamps would flicker. After explaining to three people that this is a safety hazard they finally fixed it at no cost. This vehicle also had a power steering pump go out, the speakers were shot, and the A/C had to be worked on three times. The worst thing that happened was the transmission blew up and left me and my family on the side of the road. Took to Husker and they repaired it under warranty, they did not REPLACE it because supposedly warranty would not pay for a replacement. Two weeks after the repair the transmission started leaking, took it in and was told they had "a run of bad torque converters" and that it needed to be replaced. Got it back drove it for two months and car developed an intermittent jerk upon acceleration. Took it in and of course since there were no codes tech could not figure it out. I went to go drive it for them with the tech and was not able to repeat the jerk. They replaced a driveshaft which did not fix it.By this time we were fed up with having an unreliable car and we wanted a different one. I called for the used car sales manager and gave him a ulimatem they either take this one back and give us a deal on a different one or we will go somewhere else. Was supposed to get a call back in 30 minutes received one three hours later. Never got a call back again. I guess repeat customers are not what they want. We decided to find a dealer that would work with us and found a new car from a different dealer.I would strongly suggest to stay away from this dealer. The customer is the last thing on their minds when it comes to selling a car.

I had quite a bad experience with Husker Auto, but they went out of their way to make it right, and I was actually very impressed with their attention to customer service. I hope that they keep up that attitude. That is what inspires people return to the same dealer over and over. Thank-you.

Josh was very courteous and polite. He was very knowledgeable in the vehicle that I was interested in and in the finance process. He let me take the time that i needed to make the right decisions for me and my family. I did not fell like I was being force to make a rushed decision.I would strongly recommend that my friends and family visit Josh at Husker Auto for all their vehicle purchases.

I went out there just to look. Mr. Jones explained his inventory and let me test drive a GLK the car I was interested in. After test drive he explained car to me. I then decided to see if he could find the vehicle I wanted and give me what I wanted for my trade-in. He was able to do both with the help of the finance man. My car came from Houston, I had the dealership put on bra and tint the front windows and when I went to pick it up, Mr. Jones then proceeded to take me thoroughly thru the vehicle. It was a very pleasant experience. Usually buying a car is not a pleasant experience. I live in Omaha but have no problem driving the 50 miles to Lincoln to get my car serviced as I feel they treat their customers as if they were family. I also had phone conversations with Mr. Kahn and he too was very helpful.

I bought 3 new trucks in 3 years from them. Service dept. replaced interior of my 09 GMC and did a terrible job. I was told by the sales dept. How bad the job was done before I got there, they even told me it should have been taken to an upholstery shop to be fixed. Shelly told me I expected too much and it was as good as it would get. After being yelled at for 10 minutes, I finally took the truck home. The service department spent 9 days destroying my interior and would not do anything else about it. I traded it off and cancelled the Gap insurance on it. I have since traded the next truck off and cancelled the Gap insurance on it also.I have been waiting since November to be reimbursed for several cancelled warranties and I am being ignored. When you cancel an extended warranty or a Gap insurance warrantie you are supposed to get the monies spent refunded to you. Because of my dissatisfaction Husker accounting office won't refund either of the 2 refunds of warranties which I cancelled in the last 1 year which total $1300.00. I've been waiting since November and I am out $1300.00 and I have since changed dealers and I have given up on getting my extended warranties refunded which I am entitled too, I have been told they are being kept by them because of some paperwork error they had made. They are not accredited by the B.B.B. so the only recourse I have is to sue them. They drove a 40 year GM Buyer off and now I am driving a new Ford F150. Do yourself a favor and buy your next vehicle from someone else, anyone else, or you will be sorry. You have been warned.

Very high pressure sales people, They wanted to check out my trade-in and took my keys. (Never saw those again, could not leave) finally made a deal on a truck and today I go to register it and the jerks did not pay the taxes as they were supposed to. (they added it to the price I paid, but they pocketed it) Now I have to come up with another 1500 dollars to pay the taxes that I already paid during purchase. These guys are CROOKS. BEWARE

I called Husker Auto's service department on May 20, 23, and 25 of 2011 to service my 2004 Mercury Mountaineer's air conditioner and get an oil change. I was transferred from the operator to the service department phone. Not once did anyone pick up. I had to leave a message all three times. Even worse, NONE of my messages were returned by Husker Auto! I was finally fed up, and took my business across the street to Anderson Ford. Anderson Ford had everything fixed within 24 hours and it only cost $240. I would NOT recommend Husker Auto to anyone being that they wouldn't even take the time to return my phone calls!

I visited husker auto group on numerous occasions to browse their inventory to see what would suit me best on my next vehicle purchase. I for the longest time was set on 2 different vehicles. After speaking to a few of your salesmen i nailed it down to a 2011 Camaro SS/RS.. I have been more than happy with the purchase of my new vehicle. The staff were very friendly and willing to work with me not only on price but other options as well. They were very professional and the hospitality was bar none! I would defiantly recommend my friends and family to come to Husker Auto Group for their next vehicle or even service.

I gave the price a "good" because as the customer, always want a lower price on a purchase costing that much. :-) It was a very competitive price. Our time is important as well, so going from dealership to dealership was not a pleasant thought. I was pleasantly surprised with this dealership.

This dealer had a 2010 Mercedes Benz GLK 350 listed on Cars.com for the price of $31,991.00. The dealer REFUSED to honor this price. Even after being shown a printed copy of the ad, the dealer refused to honor the price. The general manager seemed more concerned about the $20,000 he was spending for a Christmas party, than he was willing to deal with me.Had I done a little checking on the dealership prior to driving 7 hours, I would have discovered that this dealer has a D rating from the Lincoln BBB. This dealer from my experience has earned this D, and the grade is just a little bit generous.Would I ever consider this dealership for any vehicle, not in this life time.

Everyone was helpful, friendy and there was no sales pressure. They brought cars into the heated bay so we wouldn't have to be out in the cold. Matt went out of his way helping us unload the care.We love our new Malibau. Thank you Husker Auto Group.

Great service from Philip. He helped me find exactly the car I wanted, and we worked out a deal so I could drive it away that day. Ed got me a great interest rate and a full service package. They have great follow up service. If you're thinking about a chevy, check out Husker Auto.

We had fun from the time we pulled, before we even got our of the old Caddy.maybe you have to be a Husker fan to have as much fun as we did have, but it was a much different experance than other car lots where you were looked at as a chunk of meat thru the eyes of starved wild dogs.... the full sales team and even the department heads seemed down to earth.i guess the bottom line was we were comfortable.... enough saidJack F.

My husband really enjoys buying a new car basically every year, so I feel like I know a thing or two about bad dealerships. This one is the worst one I have ever gone to in my whole life. We came in on a Sunday just looking around, we really weren't in serious buying mode. BUT then we found a vehicle for a great price and just couldn't pass it up. They didn't give us a fair trade in (but do they ever?) on our previous vehicle (even though we had papers in our hand proving its worth). Even though we liked the truck, we were there for 6 hours. It was Sunday. I have no idea what they were doing that took so long. We were there so long we ended up having to leave in the middle to go get something to eat. When we got back, we were passed from one salesman to another, and had to go over everything all over again. SO finally we leave after the evening (in a vehicle by the way that we had to gas up to get home it had so little gas in it). We think that everything is fine because we signed papers and it was all ok. NO, we get a call on a Thursday afternoon after we purchased the truck Sunday asking for more money down because they can't get a bank to finance us! We said absolutely not, we signed papers and this is where it stays. They told us they couldn't get the loan so we had to bring the truck back if we weren't going to give them money. Notice, he waited all week not to call (apparently he was too busy to get a loan for the vehicle we already had). He called us on a Friday to tell us to bring it back (we live 60 miles from the dealership and told them if they wanted their f*ing truck back to come get it, they refused) just so we couldn't look for legal counsel because what he was doing was obviously illegal. The sale was final, nothing in my paperwork said anything about *upon loan approval, NO I still have the paperwork for the truck we no longer have. So i wasted 6 hours on the first day, and then had to spend half a day returning the truck. When we got there to get it back they NEVER apologized or offered any kind of "other option." Salesmen were all so worried about getting another sale while we were there the first time, we got put on the back burner (this is why we got transferred to another salesman half way through) WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE WHOLE STATE

What’s more, Husker Auto Group of Lincoln has been on the market for a very long time and remains the preferred dealership for buyers looking for used cars and trucks for sale. From low mileage used cars to cheapest used cars, there is something for you from Husker Auto Group. Check out the listings today to find the right car for yourself. Husker Auto Group is definitely the best place to buy used cars online.
