My husband and I decided to just go out for the day to look at vehicles. We had been to a couple of other car dealers and I myself was not impressed with either the presentation or the prices. My husband suggested going to Cookeville and taking a look at the Hyundai dealer. I was a little apprehensive at first, but decided to go along with him, even though I was not looking to buy a new vehicle at the time. Once we arrived there, my husband went out to look at the vehicles, but I stayed in the car. I noticed he was talking to a salesperson and signaled for me to come and join him. Against my better judgment, I decided to join him and the salesman introduced himself as Eric Christiansen. He was very professional, but friendly at the same time. I was impressed with the knowledge he had about the vehicle and once we told him what we needed, he took us to see the Santa Fe. I still wasn't sure if that's what I really want it, until he suggested to take it for a test drive. I knew by the time we returned to the dealer, it was the vehicle I wanted. Eric was very instrumental in my decision to purchase the Santa Fe. He was knowledgeable, but not pushy, courteous and very professional. It was the best customer service we've had when purchasing a vehicle!

Good experience with dealership and sales woman. Because I have friends with Hyundai vehicles and they've been happy with their vehicles, I decided to check Consumer Reports on reviews of small SUV vehicles and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Tuscon came in second, behind Toyota Rav4. After test driving the 1.6L turbo Tuscon, I was impressed with its' performance. It had good handling and acceleration.

I can NOT brag enough on Eric Deebanks! I have searched and searched for a car spending hours and hours at night on the internet trying to decide what car would be best, to deal with a dealership or to not deal with a dealership, called friends and asked their opinion and so much more. Finally, yesterday I called Eric and said please help me find a car. He asked me a few questions and said I have the car for you. I looked at it and fell in love. He showed be everything and could tell me every detail about that car. They let me test drive it that night and fell even more in love. I took it back the next morning thinking it would take forever on paperwork and Eric already had everything he could ready for me and made the buying process so easy and simple. He was NEVER pushy and answered every question I had with a breeze. He literally changed my mind about dealerships and car salesmen and made making this big purchase a fun and exciting experience! Good experience!!! I just thought it took a little longer than necessary. Possibly could have finance guy explain a little more about the due date of payment, is there a payment book, etc. I was very tired by the end of the day! and yes, we were there six hours. I did a test drive on one vehicle, then purchased another---only change was the color: the sales person insisted I test drive this car as well, not necessary. But I did!!!!!

I bought a hatchback accent last year and after going on an out of town trip with two other people, one being a child, we discovered that we needed something bigger. I was pleased with my new vehicle, pricing, style. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the fact I was told it's the same car, just a year newer and in the style of a sedan, but after the paperwork was all done and I went down the interstate I noticed that it wasn't just like my other car, I do not have cruise control. I didn't notice it in my test drive, considering I was told it's the same car I wasn't looking for things to be out of place. So if there is a next time I will definitely look to ensure that I am getting exactly what I want.

I decided to trAde in my Silverado due to gas mileage. I put in $200 last week. I wasn't for sure what I wanted. My salesman, Clint Spivey, suggested a Sonata Hybrid. I wasn't for sure about a hybrid. Clint got me three vehicles to drive so I could see what I liked best. I ended up buying the hybrid. I set my cruise on 75 this morning. I got 40 mpg! I visited the dealer 3 times to look at and test drive vehicles. The sales personnel and sales manager were helpful and courteous. I do not like to be pressured to make a decision. I told the salesman and manager that on my first visit and they respected that. No calls in between visits. If I had gotten any, I would not have bought a vehicle from them. Great sales staff!

This was the most painful experience that I have ever went through.I was spoken too very disrespectfully by Steven Bilrey.I was told of one thing and miss lead as to who was paying off my trade in.Mr Bilrey and Shawn both told me they would pay off my vehicle and that would be close the the trade in offer voucher I had with me. The trade in voucher I found out is only a gimmick to get me in there and did not even come from the cookeville dealership.I have ask for the owner to contact me many times and he has not.I spoke to Jennifer Boles and she said if I came back I would be treated with kindness and I went back she said she would check on my. Mr maccanahey settled the deal with me and I noted his kindness and respect. Jennifer did it come back to check on my nor did she have the pay off amount for me as she stated she would on the phone prior to my having to take off work and come back. I lost 2 half days of work. I was yelled at and hung up on by Mr Bilbrey, and I was left to fin for myself at the dealership when I came back. This was not an fair deal and I hope that my new vehicle is going to be a good car. I would still like to talk with the owner about the way the deal was written to confuse customers, even Jennifer said it was confusing and she didn't understand it.I wonder when u come back for an oil change will I get the cold should, I certainly hope not.

I was out looking for an auto on Friday, March 25, 2016 when I spotted this Toyota Highlander setting at Cookeville Hyundai. I stopped to get a closer look. There came a car salesperson and he introduced himself to me as Glen. He ask if I had any questions and what exactly did I have in mind. Finally, a test drive with him, back in the showroom. WE kept negotiating and three hrs. later, I drove the car to where my wife was and together, we decided this was the right on for us. Glen was gentleman like, very courteous, tried his very best to convince me that we could not go wrong with this Toyota Highlander.I believe he was correct! I had test driven a few auto's around the area and glad this one caught my eye.

I love my new Sonata, but I don't like the smart phone remote start, we have a little dog and need more than 10 minutes and need to start it every time, but sometimes it sends me a message that I need to try latter, when we are at a restaurant we need it then and every time to re start, I paid $400 dollars for a smart phone mainly to use the remote start, not happy, now looks like I will have to buy a separate remote start with a push button to manually remote start my car.

Our family bought a van from Hyundai and were assured it was in good condition. We were told that if there were problems they would make it right. Less than two weeks we made a call to them that it wasn't working properly and were brushed off. By day 19 it wouldn't run at all. Their response was to back out of all the promises they made and tell us we made a big boy decision and that's too bad. Part of our contact was tires at cost, and they didn't even do that. Before we bought the van they kept saying "we're a big time dealership and have a reputation to uphold. We won't sell you junk. We sell that to all the buy here pay here's you've been looking at. We'll make it right if there's a problem." Now they are downright rude and dared to say it's too late to fight it with an attorney. We'll see.

I purchased my BMW last night at Hyundai of Cookeville from E.C. From the test drive - to the financial service and then cleaning - this was by far the shortest time I've ever been at a dealership. It normally takes 2-4 hours from start to finish- I was there less than 90 min total - That's from the test drive - the deal - financial - cleaning my new car and out the door. No sales pressure - Go see E.C. is you're looking for the best deal without the hassle of dealing with a "Used Car Salesman. He let's you buy your car - he doesn't sell it to you. Trust me when I tell you there's a difference. You tell him what deal you want and he brings it to the management - NO SALE PRESSURE - It's nice to see this.

I really had no plans to buy a car. I was just going to start looking because my 2009 car was getting up in mileage but still looked good & was running good I wasn't in no hurry to get rid of it. I didn't think I could get a brand new car in my price range & not get less of a car. I didn't want to loose anything I already had on old car which was electric locks & windows, rear defroster & side mirrors, fog lights, in addition to that I also wanted GPS, backup camera & heated seats. Thought I look get ideas on how much I have to save up which was going to be hard I'm on disability on limited income. A salesman came up wanted to know how much I could afford not thinking they could work in that price range. At 1st he showed me cars under the price range but they didn't have what I wanted, they had less on them than my old car had on it. But when I spotted the car I wanted him & the general manager did everything they could to get me in a nice car that has everything I wanted except the GPS. And they worked with me to get it in my price range & gave me a decent price on my car for trade in value. If the car had GPS would have been perfect but it has everything else so overall I am very pleased.

Bought a used truck with this group in Cookeville. The truck engine blew up within 4 months of the purchase. Engine will cost me $7000 (parts and labor). They offered me $8000 for my $16000 vehicle, but I had to buy a new vehicle for this $8000. Don't get sucked in! The 120 point inspection is a joke, so I would recommend going to a good dealership (maybe the Honda dealer- wished that I did)

What I really liked (besides my car!) was the fact that they were up front about the price and did not do any kind of bait and switch, I've dealt with some pretty scummy car dealers, but I was very pleased with the staff at Cookeville Hyundai. I felt they gave me a fair trade-in allowance, and they seemed to really want my business.

I worked with Mifflin and Deebanks who were both very straight-up and honest with me. When I told them what I wanted they showed me cars that would fit my requirements.. then we checked prices and proceeded to check out other vehicles. Talking to the dealers and with rebates I got my car for a decently good price. I'm very happy with this car and haven't had any trouble out of it so far. I love my precious Elantra. I do recommend shopping here and checking out the cars they have to offer.

I emailed them late one night and the next morning I already had an email back from them and received a phone call soon after. Buying process was good. Some long waits during negotiations which was not expected. Did get the deal I wanted. But..... Service Dept is excellent. 1st visit was for a power plug which turned out to be my problem because my device was defective. Staff was very courteous and showed me what I needed. Next I went in for a scheduled service. Very professional. Wait time very reasonable. Excellent work and car cleaning after each visit. Will highly recommend. Hyundai staff very professional. I researched for a couple of weeks online to decide the model of car I wanted. Once I made my decision, I used the web tool on cars.com to search that model and sort by price. The lowest list price within 100 miles of my zip code (by a margin of $1500) was Hyundai of Cookeville. I printed their $100 off web coupon, went to test-drive the car, loved it. Not only did they honor the coupon, they also beat the APR my bank had pre-approved me at by several percentage points! Boom, easiest car buying experience ever! Even though I had already set up financing with my bank, I walked out with lower payments than I walked in with! **Look carefully at any used car you purchase. The dealer will NOT point out any flaws, it is your job to find them! I noticed when I test-drove the car that the rear-seat headrests were missing. They checked and they didn't have them. This wasn't a dealbreaker for me since only dogs use my backseat, but someone with kids might have been quite surprised!

This dealer had vehicle listed on internet, but could not give any information over phone. A simple inquiry about the milage on vehicle was met with complete incompetence. They can list vin#, but have not had time to look at milage. One salesman said vehicle was already gone, when it was just posted. Finally spoke with management and was quoted a price about $4000 more than it was worth. Told to come down and see if we could work out a deal. NO THANKS

My experience at Cookeville Hyundai was the worst of any dealership I have ever visited . Simply because of the rudeness I encountered when the salesman - floor mgr realized I would not be purchasing the vehicle I had test drove.When leaving I offered a handshake assuring him I would stop back by in a few days to view other vehicles the dealership might have. The salesman - floor mgr refused my handshake.I feel this was very rude and unprofessional.I do not recommend visiting this dealership.

I had a somewhat good experience at Hyundia of Cookevile. The Salesperson was very nice and helpful, but the finance person I did not care for at all. The finance person was too pushy and was coming at us with figures that did not make any sense. We did purchase the car but if I had to do it over again I do not know if I would have made the purchase. I love the car but the finance guy just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Began my search for a used car at Cookeville Hyundai and it ended there as well. Great staff that is very professional. Everything about Cookeville Hyundai is Professional. From the inital interaction with the sales staff, financing department, detail. It was a great experience. Never has buying a car been more painless and fun! And I'd also like to add that Cookeville Hyundai was the First dearlership I've ever visited where there wasnt hoards of staff huddled somewhere smoking cigarettes. My family appreciate that alot. The lot was very clean, the cars were very clean and in great order. It made finding my new car a breeze and a pleasure. It was a sincere pleasure to do buisness with the staff at Cookeville Hyundai. After shopping around online for the car I was looking for, They had it. It was an even better pleasure dealing with these guys than could be expected. The facility was extremely clean, the cars looked Great, the staff was busy, and I really enjoyed my stay at the dealership while awaiting the paperwork. It was great experience. I bought 2011 Elantra touring yesterday(05/21/2011). Salesman Neil was very kind, professional and reliable person. He informed OTD price directly by phone and it was great price, so I could save my time. As you know, other dealers often bothered me because they didn't offered the OTD pride quickly and tried rip off. I'd like to thank again salesman Neil and manager. I'd like to buy my next car from this dealer again in the future.

Had a bad experience at another Dealership.Salesman Neil was very patient and informed.He was well versed on the Hyundai vehicles.The other Dealer rep was not aware of any of the features unique to the car I purchased.I definitely recommend Neil as a Salesman.The Service Department is very nice also and remember me when I call.That's rare.
