I took my car for a routine oil change on a Saturday. Sandy saw me drive up and rushed out to get my vehicle information so she can get it checked in quickly. Luckily, the mechanic who performed the 22-point inspection on my car noticed that there was a screw in my rear-passenger tire on the inside tire. My dashboard tire indicator never turned on, and since it was on the inside of my tire, I would not have noticed it. I had an out-of-town trip planned, so I am very thankful that this was brought to my attention. I took my car to the tire shop where I had purchased my tires since they were under warranty. I have had nothing but great experiences at Hyundai of La Quinta. Keep up the great work!!!

We bought our calligraphy Palisade from this dealership and are delighted with the purchase. We could not find the color/interior combo we wanted so we drove almost three hours to get this car. It was certainly helpful that Ralph, the sells rep, was such a nice guy in all our conversations prior to sealing the deal. We did have one small issue toward the end of the deal and as soon as the general manager, Mark, was aware, issue was not only resolved but he went above and beyond to assure we were MORE than happy and he addressed the issue to assure it would not happen again with another customer. It was clear this dealership prides itself in customer satisfaction and not just selling cars. That means we all win!! :) Love love love my palisade!

The minute I arrived Able showed me what I asked to see, he explained all the differences in options so that I could make a good choice to get the perfect SUV for my needs and I left with the one that I really wanted & absolutely love it. The finance guy also explained that I had additional coverage on the Elantra that I was trading in and to call the dealership that I had purchased that one at 3 years prior to get a refund on those warranties which I would have never known to do without him telling me that, he also made copies of all the paperwork I would need to fax that dealership to get that refund so I thank him very much for that.

We just purchased our second car from Hyundai of La Quinta. I have really enjoyed my 2014 Sonata Hybrid so when we were considering a new car for my wife, we placed Hyundai at the top of the list. Once we decided on an Elantra, we knew Hyundai of La Quinta was the place to go. The salespeople are friendly, responsive, knowledgable and easy to work with. The service department on my first Hyundai has been great. I get my service completed on time and there is no selling me something I don't need. We would definitely recommend Gmo our salesman. He even came in on his day off to satisfy our needs.

I've often heard the best form of advertising is by "word of mouth." Two friends, who purchased Hyundais, recommended that I strongly consider the same. Never having purchased a car on my own, I was quite overwhelmed. As soon as Martin Diaz, the salesman, greeted me with his friendly smile, I was comfortable. I arrived at Hyundai of La Quinta and parked my car. Steven Garcia, the salesman, walked out and greeted me. We talked about what I had in mind and he showed me a new Sonata Limited in black. He went with me on a test drive and I really liked the car but I wanted it in white. Steven walked the entire lot and found one. It had everything I wanted so then I met with the finance person, Eric Steele, who printed all of the paperwork, went over everything with me and had Me sign the paperwork and write a check(I am leasing the car). Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. It was a great experience!!

They realized that we could go anywhere and chose this dealership 3 times in 3 years. Our first lease in 2013 was a total surprise and all lined up during a very trying cancer scare. This is our second Sonata this year, we were so impressed with our first we bought for my wife in December, when it came time to buy our college student son a new car there was no discussion.. " Another Sonata from Hyundai of LQ" Car buying is an ordeal, lets face it.. its a give and take situation 99% of the time, and I have always felt I give a lot more than I get! But, at LQ Hyundai the ordeal became almost a pleasure. We got the deal we set out for, we were never pressured, the selection of models was excellent. The shop foreman was very interested and attentive to our concerns regarding a small hesitation (slipping) when accelerating from a stop. The only issue is that the service people said this is a normal shifting "thing" but we feel it is pretty annoying. Maybe this is something with the Hyundai programming and hope to find out if others have this same problem.

We bought our first 2016 Sonata Sport December 2015, fell in love with the dealership, their pricing was great and comparable to the big Hyundai dealers in LA, Riverside and San Diego. The entire process was a cake walk and the Sonata was everything and more than we expected. This past week when we decided we needed to buy our son a new car to take back to school (University of Alabama) in August, the Sonata was the obvious choice. LaQuinta had just the car we wanted, Again pricing was great, we got the trade in value we needed. The car was perfect in every way and we have one very happy son. Thinking about auto number 3 by the end of the year.. Santa Fe Ultimate here I come. Kudos to our salesmen Horsey and Ian.

What I appreciated most was our salesman Martin. We were in search for a SUV and wanted to visit many dealerships to test drive our choices to see what car was best for us. Martin knew this and was not pushy at all when we told him "we are not buying yet, just looking and test driving." I was NOT looking forward to dealing with the typical "car salesman" personality, and Martin did not fit that mold! After driving 6 different SUVs, the Santa Fe Sport was the winner. This week we visited this dealer. We were promptly greeted by Horsey, our salesman, as we walked toward the pre-owned vehicles. Horsey was pleasant and friendly, but not pushy. He listened carefully to our minimum requirements for a vehicle, then showed us several vehicles which met or exceeded our minimum specifications. My wife and I soon test-drove a vehicle which ended up being exactly the vehicle we needed. We purchased the vehicle for a fair price using dealer-provided financing with good terms. The next day my wife took the vehicle for detailing. We had concerns about the battery, which we asked the service department to test. Without any hassles, the service department replaced the battery. We were very pleased with the whole experience. I would highly recommend our salesman Horsey, and the whole sales and service team at Hundai of LaQuinta!

Our family had just started the process of looking for a new car, and by the time we left the Hyundai dealership in La Quinta, we owned a certified pre-owned Santa Fe. REALLY?? Still no word on an engine - Buy American with American parts... Hyundai builds in Korea and I guess no one can speak Korean in La Quinta and get an engine for my car. My husband and I had been reviewing SUVs online and wanted to test drive several brands with no intention buying that day. Hyundai was the last dealership we visited. We were greeted by Ian McHenry - a friendly, welcoming, informed salesman who answered all our questions and encouraged us to test drive so we could have a good comparison to the other brands we had seen. Needless to say, we were so impressed with the Santa Fe Limited that we decided to buy on the spot. The sales process was surprisingly pleasant. There was absolutely no pressure by Ian, some good natured haggling with Robert and a very efficient signing of docs with Sarah. Since our purchase, Ian has followed up with emails and phone calls to answer any questions we may have and to make sure we are enjoying the car. I have to say that we LOVE this SUV. We have always been loyal to Lexus but found that Hyundai has really stepped up in their quality and innovation. This car handles as well or better than our RX350 at a much lower price point.

These days the term 'Customer Service' is almost extinct! Most aren't even aware of its true meaning.As a Management Agent, I understand the extreme value of 'Customer Service' for a company - short-term AND long-term. Additionally, I know that good LISTENing skills are a MUST to take Customer Service to its maximum level (too many fall short).Too often, companies are in a rush to push their products for that almighty dollar, that they forget the humanity behind the job and the sale...not so at Hyundai of La Quinta (HoLQ) - especially Yvonne W.It took me over 3 months (and contact with 6 different car manufacturers - Foreign and American) to make my final decision - though I would not recommend that for everyone =) I had special needs that I had to address, and in the end, it was obvious that HoLQ was perfect my options and needs. Over the 3 months, HoLQ / Yvonne stayed in contact with me, and never pushed - was 'always there' for me and my many questions. When I was finally ready, and after several on-line and over-the-phone chats (MY issues, not theirs), I finally made my way to the dealership. I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner by everyone from the moment I arrived on property, and I did not feel as if it were a 'vulture fest' at any time. [As a side note: it was good to see smiles on so many faces - it was obvious that they enjoyed their work and the company they work for. Wonder if other companies know how important this is for a business's reputation??] Yvonne was extremely patient with me over the 3 hours I spent at the dealership (even though it went a little beyond her time to go home). I was given several options, which surprised me, as under my certain circumstances I thought that I would have been given only a very limited amount (if any at all). The Finance Department and Manager did not, at any time, try the 'hard sell' and were very kind and respectful (a BIG issue in my book). I did not, at any time, feel as though I was being rushed or forced nor that I was just 'another sale' - true humanity! Ultimately, I drove home with a brand new vehicle, all within MY particular needs and requirements. I, of course, got the best warranty ever (believe me, I have done my research, and it IS the best)! =)As my drive from the dealership to home was almost 2 hours, they made sure I had a full tank of gas, the tires were all checked and filled, and the entire car was checked and serviced (engine, interior, exterior, etc) - though I must admit, I noticed this was a standard procedure (a GREAT one I may add) that they provide to each and every person that purchased a vehicle from their lot (YES I 'saw' a lot the entire time I was there!). The follow-up, and the Thank You's, have been awesome but not over-done! Its nice to feel that one is appreciated - big or small. I felt very much welcome and appreciated just for being ME, and that is rare these days. I would HIGHLY recommend Hyundai of La Quinta (and Yvonne) to anyone who wants the best experience EVER (and of course a great vehicle and the BEST warranty ever) - be they interested in a new OR per-owned vehicle. Thank you Hyundai of La Quinta. Thank you Yvonne, I can't say how very important it was to me that someone LISTEN to me and my needs - and you did just that. Additionally, I totally appreciate the respect that all at the dealership showed to me.

So, we were seriously thinking of purchasing a new vehicle. It was over the July 4th holiday, and so there were some exceptional deals for the weekend. We honestly only intended to look at Hyundai's, and maybe test drive something, since we had never purchased one before. Long story short, we left that night in a new 2016 Elantra. The deal they offered us was to good to walk away from. Doug H. was our salesman, and he was awesome! This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had, especially considering that we were not even expecting to buy a car that same day. And the warranty that Hyundai offers is a game changer. It is far too valuable an incentive to pass up.

Test drove a 2015 Genisis then came back the next day with my husband so he could test drive the car. Before we test drove the car I asked our sales guy if he would have someone look at our trade-in so I would have some idea how much they would give us for the car. His manager said they wouldn't do that until we were sure we wanted the car. After the test drive the salesman didn't even ask if I was interested in buying the car. He just said, well, if you are interested come back. I left not believing they didn't even try to make the sale. When I got home I went to cars.com and requested a quote from the same dealership. I received a call within 5 minutes. I told the second sales guy that I had been in and wanted to know what their best deal would be with our trade-in. He said he would call me back. Never heard from him again. Now I assume if their sales team is this bad that their service would probably be bad too.

Visiting from Canada. Sceduled an oil change with filter. They took the car in at the scheduled time. In addition to work I was scheduled for they completed a vehicle inspection that included interior, under the vehicle, under the hood, battery and brake and tire wear - 42 points. They also washed the car. And they presented it back to me at the promised time. Inspite of all the additional service, the price initially quoted for the oil change and filter was exactly what I was charged. I am very impressed with the friendly, quality service that I was provided and would recommend this dealers service work to other travelers. Ken
