My experience at Hyundai Of New Port Richey was great....it was actually fun interacting with the sales rep and all the staff I met during my visit. The right car and the right dealership. I traveled over an hour so I could deal with these folks. I have two SUVs exactly alike, except one is a '13 and the other is a '17, now parked in my garage. This is my third SF suv.

We returned to this dealership because of the pleasant experience with the last purchase of a Hyundai. This visit was everything we expected, and more. The salesman was thorough without being annoying. I selected my car in record speed. Rob was able to show me a vehicle with the exact features I was interested in. I only needed to look at two vehicles - selecting the second one shown. Mr. Hamm offered to show others but was understanding and did not push the issue when I declined his offer. We went on our test ride and started the paperwork. Prior to working with this team, I have never felt a loyalty to a car dealership. Hyundai of New Port Richey and Robert Hamm have earned our family's loyalty. I will recommend them to all of our friends and family - especially if they are interested in purchasing a great car, with the minimum hassle, at a fair and reasonable price.

Have bought our last five vehicles at Hyundai NPR, all from salesman Robert Schlopy. We've always enjoyed Robert's and NPR's no pressure approach to sales and have always considered Hyundai NPR to be top notch in both sales and service. They have been a trend setter in courteous, no pressure sales for many years, a reputation they need to work hard to maintain as other Hyundai dealerships in the area are catching up with aggressive deals and similarly courteous, no-pressure styles.

As I mentioned earlier, there was a scratch on the passenger door, but they put wax on in and I hope it holds. We started buying/leasing Hyundai's about 6 years ago from Hyundai New Port Richey, and have been leasing nothing but Hyundai's from them ever since. We currently have 3. Not only have the cars been extremely reliable, but whenever we've taken the cars back to Hyundai NPR for recalls, scheduled service, or minor issues, the service has been outstanding. But what has impressed me the most is the ownership. On numerous occasions, while sitting in the showroom, I've seen co-owner, Dave Frazier, come out to speak with customers, and personally handle their problems, and watched the customers leave thoroughly pleased, with smiles on their faces. Even the salespeople have told me that Dave probably receives more referrals than anyone, and has many returning clients. I've also seen co-owner, Scott Fink, make his rounds greeting and talking to customers in the showroom. In our several years of having Hyundai's, we have worked with many salespeople, staff, and service, at Hyundai NPR, and have also needed to go to other Hyundai dealerships due to locality, and Hyundai NPR is by far a top dealership. It's become obvious that this level of excellent customer service starts at the top! Thanks Dave, Scott, & Hyundai NPR!!

I just want to give kudos to Karen Fitch and all of Hyundai. I was new to buying a car I was scared and not sure if they would give me a chance. I am a single Mother just trying to make ends meet. When I spoke with Karen she was extremely understanding of my situation and she was great she worked with me and made sure I was happy and comfortable. When she first told me I was approved I was like "Shut Up" lol (not literally) but I was so happy I was given the chance to build my credit and drive off in a 2016 Accent. I was not pressured at all they took their time and made sure it was something I could work into my budget. I can't thank you enough. The entire dealership went above & beyond to make me very happy with my car lease experience. I was so pleased that when I had completed my transaction, I had my son meet me there and he leased a Tuscon on the same day. I was a little dismayed when the finance person gave him some extra warranty options at no extra cost but these were not offered to me. In order to make me completely satisfied, days afterwards the General Manager, Mr. Fink, very kindly added those same extra warranty options to my contract at no cost. Now that's the definition of going the extra mile to keep your customer extremely happy. I have currently purchased/leased 3 cars from this dealership and personally brought in 4 other people with me to purchase vehicles. These professionals are so eager to please that I have put my reputation on the line in bringing in my friends and family to get what I feel is the best deal & best service and they have never let me down.

I had a great experience at this Hyandai location. Was greeted by Michael immediately and explained my car was totaled in Hurricane Hermine. I explained I was waiting on insurance money to come in. He said he could go ahead and help me at the time, but I explained I wanted to wait, but wanted him to show me some of the newer Elantres. He wasn't pushy and after showing me around gave me his card. A week or so later, I returned to the dealership and made my purchase.

Hyundai dealerships are the only places you can buy a Genesis. Luxury dealerships are many steps above eg. Cadillac, BMW, Lexus, Acura. Selling a luxury vehicle like a Genesis at a Hyundai dealership just doesn't stand up to the competition. But I love the car.

I felt that the service department was no up to par for me considering they kept telling me that I didn't understand how the duel clutch worked and the computer kept saying nothing was wrong... Well guess what the problem I was have was in fact a recall on the car... I had a 2016 Tucson which I fell in love with and to my disappointment my car was not fixed when I took it in and was no longer felt safe in my car... So I left with a 2017 Santa Fe sport I am not as in love with my vehicle but it has no problems as of yet.. My Tucson started two weeks after buying., So I guess so far so good

I owed so much more than my trade-in was worth and was paying an obscene amount of interest. I disliked the vehicle and it was not very good on gas. I really thought when I went to get out of my car and into a newer one that they would really not be able to help me. I was wrong. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in and even though my payment remained the same the interest was MAJORLY lower than what I was paying. Will be very happy to see the actual cost of the car go down much quicker now thanks to a low interest rate! The car I chose was the 2017 Hyundai Elantra (White) and I LOVE IT! No pressures to buy the salesmen are professional, communicate well and are up front on all costs. I am truly happy with my purchase, love driving my car and it's excellent on gas. I will surely be a repeat customer and hope you will give them a try!

I already gave my opinion on the page before! The only thing I liked about Hyundai of New Port Richey is my car and Jeff Collier my sales person. Management Department....very poor... If what I've said in the page before is not enough I can add that Jeff's manager at some point after saying he couldn't reduce the price anymore he stood up and left in a very rude manner. Instead of saying something like I'm sorry we couldn't reach an agreement, it was a pleasure having you her or I hope to see you soon.... he just stood up and left without even hands. He just turned away and disappeared. However, Jeff stayed there and engaged in a conversation again. Well it might be part of the play....Who'd have know you have to have a master degree in buying cars!!! Finally I bought the car, not happy with the price, but because I didn't want to make my husband to go through the car dealership situation again. I wish everybody luck and the best at HYUNDAI OF New Port Richey but I hope I don't have to go there again.

Dave Frasier, on of the owners, is always helpful and makes sure that I am happy with my purchase. I have also used the same salesman ("Big" John Arrington) for many of the vehicles and was also extremely satisfied with him. He always calls me a couple times after the sale to make sure everything is going okay and even went out of his way to make sure the garage door opening feature had been set up properly.. The dealership is always neat and clean and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the "welcoming desk" in the showroom.

I very much appreciated all the work Bill Parente and James Van Gelder put into my new lease. I came in for only an oil change, but my lease was up the following month. When Bill collected and then presented to me all my options WITH the pro and cons of them, I finally made my decision to lease a new 2017 Elantra. Suddenly realizing what time it was and that I had a 90 minute drive home to care for my grandchildren as they got out of school, Bill had little time to go over all he wanted to with the new car. But he covered all the vital parts, and considering I had just spent 4 years with a 2013 Elantra, we both felt it was safe for me to drive home.

A friend told me about Hyundai of New Port Richey about 5 years ago. I purchase my first Hyundai in 2011 and the experience was awesome and really liked the vehicle. I then returned and purchase my second Hyundai. The dealership experience was just as good as the first time and my salesman was great. (John Arringtron) He explained everything and set up everything and even delivered vehicle to my home. This last time, I specifically asked John Arrington again. Best Salesman and experience was honest, upfront and he took the time to show me how all my new gadgets worked and called me a couple of times to make sure that I didn't need any help. That is customer service . I would not go anywhere else to purchase.

They told me my particular Jeep doesn`t hold its value and told me I need $9000.00 down. I told them ahead of time I have negative equuty but they told me negative equity is their specialty. Apparently not. I checked Kelly Blue Book nyself Abd it is 2 times what they offered me. I asked for my keys and walked out.

In looking at cars on the net I found a 2016 Sonata Limited that I liked and applied for it on line. Our recent experience with Hyundai of New Port Richey in purchasing a new car for our daughter has been the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. Our Product Specialist was Shane Ippolito and he was very helpful in helping us find the right car and make a final decision. Shane's knowledge of the car's equipment was thorough and he was able to demonstrate the operations in a very clear and complete manner. Shane's "at ease" demeanor created a stressless atmosphere which almost unheard of when shopping for a car. The price we settled on was very fair and was in line with the advertised pricing. Shane located the model with the colors and options we wanted at another site and quickly arraigned to have it delivered to the New Port Ritchey delearship that evening. When we picked it up it was spotless and ready to go. Because of Shane's efforts we were able to have it in the driveway the following morning for a surprise birthday gift for our daughter. That meant very much to my wife and me. Rodney Anderson was the Finance Manger who worked with us on the purchase. He had all the finance and registration documents completed and ready for us. The finance department was very busy Saturday with keeping up with the high number of sales happening and we appreciated Rodney giving us all the time we needed and expertly answered all of our questions. Hyundai of New Port Richey may be known as a high volume dealership but they have personal service.

The only disappointment with the sales process was the length of time it took from the time I walked in the door to the time I signed the papers and left the dealership. I did a lot of communicating with the dealership prior to my arrival in an effort to reduce the amount of time it would take at the dealership. I new the exact vehicle I wanted and even completed the online financing. My visit should have been less then an hour, not four hours. This is the only critique I have. Other than the length of time it took to complete the deal, this is a great dealership. The facilities are nice the people are friendly and professional and the service department is outstanding.

In deciding to lease a Hyundai Sport, I worked with Jeena Verdelotti in Internet Sales. Nearly everything required was done via email in a very short time. Questions were answered, not responded to with another question. While this dealership is considerable distance from my residence, the experience was worth the trip. I do not think one will encounter smoke & mirrors when purchasing or leasing here.

After we agreed upon a price, and after I was informed my credit score was 817, there was a 2+ hour wait to complete the transaction. We were told the dealership was short-staffed. We nearly cancelled the transaction as a result. The dealership is a licensed tag agency, and charged us a private tag agency fee of nearly $100, but refused to allow us to order a personalized plate. That will result in additional charges at the DMV. We will be complaining to the state as a tag agency is required to be full service. The car was not properly detailed, and it had dust and fingerprints on the dash, back of the seats, and other areas. After the outrageously long time we were at the dealer, we were not about to wait longer for them to re-detail the car. The test drive was rushed. The salesperson left us numerous times to attend to other customers. She was courteous, but the experience overall was unsatisfactory. We came in knowing what we wanted, and were buying from this dealer because they had the car we wanted in the color we wanted. If we had to do it over, we would have bought the car in our second choice color from Fitzgerald Hyundai, which offers up-front pricing. Our total time at the dealer was about 3 1/2 hours. Two (2) hours of that was literally sitting in a chair and waiting for the finance person to become available so we could finalize the deal. There is no way on earth I would ever buy a car again from Hyundai of New Port Richey.

It would have been very nice had our sales person fully explained how much credit I was to receive ( KBB indicated value of my Elantra as 5625.00 with only 21,000miles after 6 years) the vehicle in very good condition of my vehicle which should have given me a 5625 downpayment and 0 rate of interest since my credit rating is 858. He provided two sheets of paper which were totally unclear. Please note, this is my first purchase of a vehicle in my life. My husband, who died in 2010 handled this type of purchase. Note, KBB also indicated the Accent as 16,000 so I did not question this, but that was the window sticker price and truly I should have received some credit toward sale price.Note my credit for the downpayment was only $2,500.A real gyp and I trust the resale for Hyundai will be in the vicinity of $8,900 or more. I did get a $25.00 test drive credit card from a salesman when I came back on Saturday. Due to other appointments I could not reach Mr. Nieves as he comes in at 11:30 am

We really liked our 2015 Sonata Eco, but our new 2015 Sport has a larger engine which gives the feeling of more power. We are also enjoying the added technology i.e.: compatible with our I-phones. Have nothing to leave or say as a review, your questions and ans. on the survey cover everything. The salesperson was very helpful in picking a car to meet our needs and price. I would suggest going early in the day as buying this car did take longer than we had planned and in the end we felt rushed to change out our car to the new one and some small items suffered for the time crush, hence scratch on persription glasses in overhead car eyewear case thrown in trunk of new car, lost coffee gift card on front seat compartment, and my deceased father's sentimental coin collection left in door handle just as he did for years,to mention a few. Not important to anyone but ME!!! Obviously! !!!

Don't believe any of the marketing materials you receive for this dealership!! Received ad saying 120% above black book for trade+ 0% financing + double rebates, and of course all sorts of free gifts with purchase. I was looking at a Santa Fe Se, with the 7 passenger option. My family and I were multiple repeat customers! My folks bought two used vehicles, my grandparents had bought 4 vehicles, and my wife and I bought one, so we were confident we could get a deal. We had seen the SE in iron frost on there own website for $28,748, we were taken to a vehicle that was over $32,000 and when I mentioned seeing a different price with $2500 in rebate, the sales man acted like he knew what I was talking about, but during the sales process we were told they would try and work a deal... So the sales person went back and forth, saying he was working a deal.He then came to check out vehicle. Questioned the air conditioning quality, even though we complained about it to Hyundai service department multiple time at their dealership in Wesley chapel just to be told it needed to run for a few cause the Vera Cruz had multiple compressors which had to run until it cooled down, and our car being black also didn't help. We finally got passed that just to be told they would offer us $6k for our car which was getting between $8k and $10k on blue book value and selling for anywhere from $11k to $14k at various dealerships...so much for their special. They then pulled their usual lease price / purchase price jargon on a sales page to price out the SE Santa Fe for $500 to $566/ month. Even though they are leasing the sport model which msrp is $25k for $200 and SE's for $380. All I can say is shady! Then they bring the sales manager out, after I walked away to try and explain their "deal" was insulting! I don't need him to divide a $32k car into 72 months to show me a payment, what he should have done was use the online advertised price of $28k and not be talking about how he is $8k away from earning my business because my car was not worth paying off.We as a family will not buy from this auto group anymore!!! I have met Mr. Fink during my previous buying experience and he seemed like a stand up guy, but I guess when you are trying to become the "giant" you forget the people who support you and are loyal to their company, because this is where their parents parents buy there cars, and their folks after them! You will sell cars with 0 down, 0% interest all day but when it comes to paying of a trade of their own make they dismiss it as junk!! Be weary of their tactics and I challenge Mr. Fink to make good on his slogan of "our volume saves you money"!

I have a leased three vehicles from Hyundai of Newport Richie. Two Sonatas and now an Elantra. I have, and continue to enjoy being a customer of this dealership. They are alway prompt and do what they say they will. Also, as a disabled person, money is a very important factor for me when purchasing a vehicle. And I'm very happy to say that Hyundai of Newport Richie went the "extra mile" each time I leased a car. They made sure I was not in "over my head" financially with the car I had chosen. I always left with a car I could afford, as well as having a car that I wanted to own and drive. I don't know why anyone near the greater Tampa area would go to another dealership. For me, as long as I am driving a Hyundai, I will be dealing with Hyundai of Newport Richie. I would also like to say, that THE ONLY NEGATIVE I have to say about my purchase pertains to the car, and NOT the Dealership. I do not like the changes HYUNDAI has made to the back up camera software. I find it very confusing and annoying at times to use the new back up cameras. This is because the new cameras use dual "spacing lines" (I do not know the correct term). Compared to the previous version, which used only one set of lines, I wish there was a way to revert to the older version of "marking lines." I went there looking for a car for my Son. I had asked about new vs certified used. They answered all my questions. Told me about certain rebates that were available on the new cars. I would say the hardest thing was for my Son to pick what color, they had so many to chose from. Our Salesmen Robert Schlopy was very knowledgeable, he listened to what we wanted and didn't just try to sell us any car. My Son loves his new 2017 Hyundai Elantra. We have seen many of the same faces over the years and it is nice to know that they must be a good company to work for since they don't have a large turnover in staff. I love my car but when I arrived home, my husband noticed a quarter sized scratch. It looked more like someone keyed it! I called my salesperson Moji and he immediately scheduled for me to drop off my car and I was to be given a loaner. I dropped my car off and they didn't have a loaner but Katrina in the service department was so nice and helpful and got me a ride to work and before I left work they had brought me the loaner. When I picked my car up a week later, it looked great!!!

Give that man a raise. He sold me TWO cars in under a year. Also, figure out the bathroom lighting situation. I went in for an oil change at 6:30 am and used the bathroom and the lights went out on their timer. I was stuck pooping in the dark for about 3-5 minutes, and of course there isn't much bathroom traffic at 6:30am. Pls fix :---)

He also helped me when I had a flat only 2 days after the sale and before road hazard had my information. I am very pleased with my purchase. Everything went well with some exceptions. My new $40k car was cleaned only on the outside, still had plastic around some parts of the interior and the interior of the car was not cleaned. Windows were dirty and inside windshield has some bad smudge/streak marks, still present after I cleaned the windows multiple times. Part of the deal was to tint all the windows including the windshield, when it came time to schedule it, I had to call the dealership and request the service date since no one called to schedule it with me, also the day of the tinting, was told that the windshield was not included, the service guy tried to get in tough with my salesman and others at the dealership with no responses. After waiting 15 min I gave the ok to tint the windows that was authorized and I will get in touch with my salesman to inquire what happened and why was the windshield not included. I called and my salesman, and he told me he would check into it, well that was over a week ago and 2 messages later still no response from the dealership or my salesman regarding this issue.

All I came in for was to see if my current car (Sonata) could have the air bag fixed. The drivers side air bag light on the dash lit up less then 2 weeks after I had been into this dealership for service on the 3 recalls that were needed to be done to my Sonata. I found it very odd that the fix was not covered and the charge would be approximately 400.00 I was told. Next thing I knew they were wanting to sell me a car. And the only reason I did was because I was told I wouldn't have a car payment for 6 months. I just moved to Florida and I did not have money for the repair and do not want to drive without an air bag!

This was my second car in 14 months at Hyundai of New Port Richey. I have been very satisfied on all ends of the purchase and service of the cars at this dealership. I have been using the cars as a private transportation provider, and couldn't be more happy with their looks and performance. Instrument panel usage is complecated and manuals are combersome. The vehicle has to be running to work features in the car. Wish they could be used in the accessory mode.

I'm writing this review to inform other possible car buyers that they should spent some time researching before they decide to buy a car. They have to decide exactly what model they would like and which package. They should visit at least 3 dealership and take offers on that same car and negotiate the final price, you will be surprised how much the prices vary. Doing so myself I visited the Hyundai of New Port Richey as they claim to be the biggest in Tampa area. The first time I visited they gave me an offer and a trade in value of $ 11,000 for my car. I left telling them that I have to visit couple more dealerships in order to find the best price for myself. On my way out the sales manager told me that if you find a better deal we will beat it by couple hundred dollars.Next was Fitzgerald countryside Hyundai, I spend no more than an hour and they gave me a final price with the trade in that is $ 2.000 better than New Port Richey's. They were very straightforward and they tell you that is the best we can do. I left telling them that I had to visit another dealership to find the best deal for myself. They said that they doubt I could find something better for that car, but good luck. At the same day I make a quote online for the best price available for my car, I received two phonecalls, one from Courtesy Hyundai in Tampa and one from New Port Richey, they both have me a quote very similar to each other. I decided to go to Courtesy Hyundai first in person and I was treated very nice and indeed they honored the online quote and they gave me a trade in value of my car of $10.500. By this time I had saved myself $3.000 from the first offer I was given from New Port Richey Hyundai. I live in Port Richey and since they offered to beat any other offer I'll get, I decided to give them another chance. So I get in there the next day having my quote from online and the other offer from Courtesy Hyundai. The sales manager remembered me and at first he was nice and polite, then when I started asking for the best price they could give me he started being very aggressive and rude. I told him listen I am here to do business if you don't want my business I can leave. He apologized and said what offer do I have , I told him and showed him the written offer he was starting it for a minute and then he goes I don't think that offer is true but if it was I should go and get the car from them. So I asked him I guess then you can not beat that price? He said absolutely not and started being very aggressive and rude again. Probably cause he didn't like what I was doing, and also on my way out there is the guy that first helped me Leonardo and he was making comments, " do you still have that paper and running around, it's unbelievable" . I replied to him that saving $ 3.000 for less than 10 hours negotiating and driving around it is worth it to me, he probably didn't like my answer and he Shaked his head and mumbled something. OK
