I was in the market looking for a used Mustang Convertible as a second car to drive to the shore. I found a 2006 Mustang at llan's Auto Sales on Cars.com. The llan staff was very friendly, professional and made the buying experience comfortable. Even more important, they gave me a great deal on the car. The car is clean and runs good. I have received numerous complements on the car and how great it looks. After having the car for a month, I wanted an upgrade of the car radio and they helped me with that. I would certainly buy again from llan's Auto Sales.

I purchased a 2007 Honda Ridgeline from Ilan's. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, it needed a significant repair that wasn't covered under warranty. Ilan stepped up and covered the cost of the repair even though he didn't have to. Since the repair, the vehicle runs great and continues to run great. I am completely satisfied with the vehicle and the quality of service received from Ilan's.

These guys list and tell you a car is on their lot. I drive there and "the car just was sold". Just for giggles I called a few days later (because they are still listing it on the Internet and their website) and they said "sure, it's here, come on in" Unless you enjoy being misled, stay away.

Big pleasure to work with Don. He was willing to help and to deal with you. I bought a Hyundai, and was nice to work with these guys. The process went smooth, and everything was perfect. There were just minor stuff at the car that I need to fix, but understandable for a car 11 years old. Passenger window motor, cargo cover and bushing on the rear should be changed. Other than that, all looks great.

I purchased a 1995 Firebird from them on 6-28-2014, and so far put a few hundred $ on straightening out the inspection on it. I was shocked to find the battery held in place by a bungee strap, tail lights burned out, it also needs front brakes. The raditor was only half full with rusty water, the oil was black, the windshield fluid tank is split (wont hold much fluid) three different types of tire brands, rear hatch needed new supports. this is what I found the first week! They did not work with me on the price. Be very careful, it seems to be to good to be true, it is! Also, kept loseing copy of my drivers liscense.

I came and looked at 2 ford rangers. Both of them were broken and had numerous issues. They are the 2010 ford model. They had one car on their lot and the 2nd on another lot. Then they sent me to other lot to look at the 2nd ford ranger. I went over there and they tell me they don't have the keys and we don't work for them. So I walk back to them and they said they don't have the keys and we don't know where they are. They finally found them after almost an hour. Very bad business. Then what made it worse was there was a couple who bought a car and it broke down the next day. Not a very good sign. I wasn't impressed.

I bought a Honda Civic Hybrid from Ilan's today. The entire experience was refreshing. I dealt with both George and Ilan on the deal. I pointed out some items that I wanted addressed before I would make an offer for the car. However we struck a deal prior to the items being addressed. They addressed the items and made sure that the car was in excellent running condition. I chose to finance the car and walked away with 3.9 financing. No gimmicks, no games, no paper shuffling and no deception. I have never dealt with a dealer who valued his word until now. The pricing is fair yet negotiable and they stand by their words. If you have not taken a look at this car lot, you should. These guys are living proof that a car dealer can have integrity. My car was prepped properly and the tags on when I was ready to pick up the car and the owner even made me a cup of coffee. I drive over 180 miles daily. Having a car that I can trust is essential to my income. Having a dealer I can trust brings comfort. I can trash this car and know where I will be going to get another. I highly recommend this dealership. I have trashed dealers before because of their deceptive practices and lousy customer service but I can guarantee you a pleasant, non pressurized, friendly and fair experience at Ilan's. Say hello to George and Ilan for me when you get there!!!

Called to make sure a car I saw advertised was still there. I was told it was but not to ocme till the next day because the weather was bad!! Went the next day and was told the car was at a local garage having its inspections done ut i could see it there. Drove there but the car was a different color than advertised...and actually was simply a different car. When I went back they claimed I hadnt specified the car I wanted to see and that that carhad been sold. Complete wasted trip Pretty sure he knew the day before the car i wanted had sold.....just wanted to sell me anything Typical low end used car place - I wont go back

Bought a very nice hhr from this company. Applied for a loan and they called me every day to see if I was going to purchase it. Went back to sign the loan paperwork and the person from the bank never showed so we drove 90 minutes just to sign the paperwork. Drove back and picked up our new car and was reimbursed for gas. We traded our 98 cavalier as a down payment for the deal. After 45 days we called to see why we did not receive anything to make the payment they said the loan did not go through because our information was wrong. Weird because it was right before I bought it. We went right to ilans to sign new paperwork. Left with the car again! Unfortunately my husband lost his job a few days after and the loan was denied supposedly for that reason (why it took another 10 days to process it was beyond me) We were prepared for the deal to be void but was told by the bank on Thursday that they would call us to see what we should do. Saturday morning my car was gone. Called and asked them when we could come get our belongings and our original car. They told us monday. Well today is Monday so we called to see if our car and belongings were ready. They said yes but make sure we bring the keys. Not a problem as we would never keep something that was not ours. Got a ride up there (40 minutes away) and as they were getting my stuff I placed the hhr keys down. They took the keys and then told us our car was sold and we were getting nothing! Lemon Law from what I am told by our attorney. It's called spotting..which is something that dealers do to people with not so good credit. Now we have no car and a disabled baby. Would never recommend that anyone goes through what we are going through!

I boughte an used car through this old two dealer. They were so kind and fair that I can believe them and their cars. But the delershop was not so big as I thought and they have to manage their shop economically effective. So the customer maybe feel uncomfortable and less service was performed. If they try to improve this points, They will get so many customer to buy their cars with sincerity.

Finding the right automobile and having the ability to obtain financing with less than stellar credit can be extremely challenging. Despite this challenge, our experience at Ilan's Auto Sales was outstanding from beginning to end. We'd shopped around at other auto sales lots in the area but walked away empty handed. Why? Mainly because salesmen attempted to pressure us to settle for something we didn't want. At Ilan's we were treated with respect. They patiently worked with us to find the year, make and model of our specified SUV. The process for financing the vehicle was done in such a way that we were treated fairly and respectfully, despite our credit situation. After the sale, we had to bring the SUV back for a minor repair, which they took care of at no extra charge. We have not had any additional problems with the vehicle, which we purchased 7 months ago. There are many places that you could choose to search for a pre-owned vehicle. Illan's Auto Sales is one that we highly recommend to others and one that we will use for future purchases.

I am not what you would call and easy customer and Ilan went above and beyond to accommodate me (included replacing a review mirror days after I purchased the vehicle at his cost, which he really wasn't obligated to do). In a business where honesty and trust is hard to come by, Ilan stands out. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fair and honest dealer.

I purchased a 2002 Volkswagen New Beetle from Ilan's, they let me take it my mechanic in Havertown, who said there were a few minor issues, what you would expect from any used car. Even so the car made three trips from Glenside to Havertown beautifully. The breaks are fantastic, the heater is the best I've seen in any car, and not a single warning light came on. Ilan's gave me a warranty, they answered with every question I had, took care of the registration for me, and were very gracious. I had to postpone taking the car to my mechanic because of the weather several times and they were entirely cooperative about it. There was no pressure put on me to buy the car, unlike most dealerships. My mother came with me and intends to go back when she replaces her car.

12-10-2012 I purchased a 1998 Infinity from Ilan Auto, they were very nice, did not force anything.I made up my mind to buy, after Ilan discuss the history of the car, and also showed me the car fax. The car is in good shape. I know it is my responsibility to keep if looking great. I have had sooooo many compliments on the car, my head is getting big. Everyone want to know where didI buy the car, I told them Ilan Auto Dealer in Glenside. They all told me they were going to the dealership to look for a car. They all said what a beautiful car you have, and I tell them thank you, go there and look for a car for yourself. We were looking for a second car that would fit into our budget. Every other dealer we went to tried to convince us that a car in our price range didn't exist and they could finance us into something in their inventory. Although Ilan's Autos didn't have what we were looking for at first they were extremely courteous in understanding our budget constrains and didn't attempt to shovel us into what they had. They explained trades were always coming in and perhaps in the future they'd have something for us. A week later they called with a car that perhaps we'd like. In the meantime a neighbor of ours offered us their car which we had purchased. Ilan's Auto was just as nice and courteous after we told them we had purchased our neighbor's car. I'll be looking for a car very shortly for myself(The car we purchased was only for transportaton back and forth to a train station) I'll go to Ilan's and I'm sure I'll buy a car from them.

Stay away from this place. The owner is extremely rude and dismissive of your concerns. I test drove a blue 01 chrysler concorde, which is still available on the website. The engine started smoking 10 minutes into the drive and the car pulls to the right. I came back and told him this and he said the tire just needs air and the engine needs to be washed. He put air in the tire and i drove it again. Still smoking and pulling to the right. I then asked him if the oil had been changed since he got it. He said he didn't know. I noticed the service sticker said the oil should be changed at 125,000 miles and the car was already at over 130,000. He then changed his mind and said yes the oil had been changed they just forgot the sticker. Also although its advertised the ac does not work and he said he knew this. Despite these multiple defects he was not willing to negotiate the price or fix them and quite simply stated "if u don't want it fine I have someone else coming today who said they want it". Fine. Let them deal with the headache. Buyer beware.

I bought and sold a car within one year. I visited the US as a visiting prof. Ilan got me an excellent car and sold it for me at the end of the year. He is a very honest and pleasant car dealer. He gave me all the correct information on the cars that he offered me and helped me choose a car to my full satisfaction. During the search period he kindly lent me a car and on my last day in the US I left the car with him. He sold it for me and deposited the money in my bank account.I couldn't have received a better service.The car was excellent.
