I found J&F Auto by accident while looking for a used car. I was skeptical at 1st but the reviews were stellar and I decided I'd give them try and see what happens. Well, they were as good as advertised! The service, patience and understanding I was given when purchasing my car from J&F Auto was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. They were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Any issue with the car was quickly sorted out and dealt with to my liking in order for my to drive away a satisfied customer. They answered all my questions and gave me great advice on how to keep my car running smoothly. I also want to give a special thanks to Melissa. She was super accommodating as I was trying to get to the car (I live about 2.5hrs away) and even came in on an off day to make sure the sale went through without a hitch. My only regret is that J&F isn't closer so that I could get to do business with them for any maintenance my car may need in the future. If you're looking for a quality used car dealer and live in the Waterbury area, please stop by here. You won't be disappointed....they're good ppl, good at what they do.

I brought my mini van in for some brake issues, and let me tell you, the staff overall is wonderful - very professional, careful, and very communicative with what the vehicle’s main needs are. Special thanks to Jack, Melissa, and Corey. Everything was so quick. It’s very much appreciated when a business cares about your well-being as much as you do. Corey even gave me extra details to ensure that I am aware of what still needs tweaks but made sure the van is safe and not a hazard to neither my family or other drivers. Definitely recommend!

I've been entrusting J&F auto with my car's repairs for years now. Anytime I've needed work done, I hand my car over to Jack with no hesitation or worry. The customer service was good. Car buying process was also good. Great prices and clean cars. Had a problem with my car the day after driving buying it and driving it home and had to have it towed back to J and F's shop. They ended up fixing the vehicle and paying for my tow bill and rental car charges. Needless to say they made it right, although I would expect nothing less. Only thing I wasn't happy with was their mechanic shop. I don't know how they could sale and send out a truck that breaks down the following day BUT they were very apologetic and ultimately made up for it. I will definitely go back.

I got my car from j and f and im not only pleased with the cost, but im very pleased with the service. They fixed every single thing that i complained about including the broken cup holder. Thank you jack and mark, love my new ride.

I bought a 2009 Chevy Cobalt from J & F in July 2013. The car is very simple and runs well. The warranty, I thought, was good for a used car: 60 days or 3000 miles. I took advantage of the warranty and took it back to remove condensation in one of the headlights and replace some plastic in the front passenger inner fender. They had to order the piece for the fender so in my first trip, they fixed the headlight. I brought it back the next week to have the inner fender piece installed. I didn t even get home before the plastic came loose from the random screws they used to fasten it and it was being torn off and shredded by the tire. Then, when inspecting the atrocious work they did, I noticed the condensation in the headlight they supposedly fixed was just as bad as it had been the week before. It was 6pm by this time so I called to leave them a voicemail but they don t even have a vm box set up. I called the next day and was told the owner would call me back but, of course, he never did. I took the car to a friend who showed me several parts to the engine that were missing, ie: screws, bolts, anti-freeze overflow tube, etc. If you buy a car from there, have a knowledgeable mechanic look at it before purchasing. And DO NOT bring it back there for warranty service, or ANY service for that matter. Their service work is awful, awful, awful and they obviously don't car enough to make sure their cars are 100% intact.

Hi am 22yrs old this place got me into a 2008 infiniti m35x at a cheaper price than anyone. The owner was highly enthused about his service and his business. Didn't hassle me for money down, he dealt with various banks and found that my own bank that i bank with gave me the best loan and it was only 3.8% interest. he informed me to go there and apply for an auto loan. What place does that. they earned my respect. Thanks alot guys appreciate everything. customer for life
