This was the most pleasurable buying experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle! I talked to Mario on Tuesday about the purchase and on Wednesday he was off but had Fred take care of us. My experience with Jack Ingram is one that I have spoken very highly of and will continue to speak highly of. Anyone that is looking for a vehicle and receive great customer service also go to Jack Ingram. I had the most caring and hard working salesman, I was at Jack Ingram last year with one of his previous customers and watched this young man worked and I noticed it was just not about earning that paycheck (but now that is important) but it was about making sure his customer was happy and satisfied. He was not pushy and overbearing he found out what interested me and worked to make sure my needs were met. I did not go to the dealership until I got ready to sign my paper, I told him what I was looking for (actually he remembered from when I was in there earlier) he chose my car and all I could say when I got there was WOW he made a great choice. One more thing about my salesman, which I can go on and on, he can work 3 or 4 sales at a time and never take any disrespect from any of his customers, it was just amazing to watch him work. My salesman was and will always be FRED JACKSON!!!!!. Matt Carter informed me he was new to the company but you could not tell. He was very friendly and professional I only knew that he was new because he was not in there when I was in there previously with another customer. Russell came from his office to Fred's office just to greet me and I thought that was very courteous. Great staff!!!!

I just updated my VW Touareg to the 2016 model. This must tell you that I love this vehicle. The ride is smooth, agile, comfortable, excellent maneuverability and excellent climate control. Mario Powell worked diligently in aiding me to secure the exact interior and exterior (Canyon Gray with dark interior) color that I was looking for. Mario is excellent, professional and very meticulous in ensuring that he meet the needs of his clients. I will give him 400%, a 5 star rating. By the way, Mario was the sales person that helped me purchase my 2013 Touareg. That is why I sought out his expertise when I was looking to upgrade to the newer model. Mr. Britton Harvest, Business Manager at Jack Ingram was wonderful also. He notified me of all the additional packages (lack of a better word) that could be purchased to ensure that if the need arise, my new Touareg would be well cared for and save me a lot of potential worry in the future. Being a single female, that is very important. I will give him a 5 star rating also. And what can I say about Justin in the service department. I've known Justin since I purchased my first Touareg in 2010. All I can say is that Justin is a superb. He is excellent at assessing your needs, and expediting the repairs of your vehicle so that you can get back your ride pronto! I will give Justin 400%, and a 6 (six) star rating. Spent over $5000.00 and our car runs worse than it did before we brought I to them. They broke the windshield and throttle body reinstalling the engine. They replaced the windshield with a noticeably different cheap after market one, no telling about the throttle body. We have taken it back numerous times and they always say "can not replicate customer's complaint" They refuse to fix the car or probably don't have the knowledge or expertise to fix it. VW of America could care less either. Shame on David Ingram and Ruth in the Service Dept. How do you people sleep at night. DO NOT buy from or take your car to Jack Ingram's!!!! I'll never own another VW or Audi again.

Found a 2015 VW Golf "R" on cars.com on a search, called the dealer and was directed to Joy my sales rep.I put a $500.00 deposit down over the phone and let them run my credit. I was in no hurry to complete the deal and was kept updated daily by e-mail. Got a great rate and picked up the car yesterday. I met the sales manager and Joy and went for a ride. No pressure sales and they kept the pricing at MSRP instead of like a few dealers charging MSRP plus due to the fact it is a limited production car. I plan on going back there for service , and would do business with them again.

We purchased our VW with the 36,000 free maintenance so oil changes every 10K miles. After my first service I realized they had over torqued my wheel bolts, and left my car a quart low on oil (factory VW service trained tech's) and the car wash didn't clean the car and left spots on it.. On the second go around I spoke with Justin and he assured my that would not happen again, I told them don't bother to wash it after last time. After I get home, I pull out my torque wrench and again the wheel bolts were over torqued. Again VW factory trained technicians cannot follow service procedures. Again bad survey it will never happen again etc...Third service, I watched them do the whole thing all wrong again. The wheel bolts were over torqued once more, the tech didn't use the special tool to drain oil from the filter housing, but rather took a screwdriver and pushed the bottom of the valve part over so the oil would drain past. So again if I can't trust them to do a oil change properly how could I expect them to do something major. Bad survey, oh it will never happen again deal from the service advisors, service manger never once call and David Ingram sure it's going to talk service with a customer. From now on we will drive to B'ham for service. Maybe their tech can follow service procedures. Good deal on the car, service department that can't follow service specs.

Guy worked with us on everything and gave us some great advice on my choices of vehicles, keeping everything with-in my budget, and giving me the best bang for my buck. Over the years I have bought a lot of cars. Usually its an all day process and therefore painful. That changed today. I called Fred Jackson when I was on my way to the dealership. I got there a little after 9am. Fred had me driving off the lot by noon! Fred and the Sales Manager, Guy Martin, were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Mario P was thorough, professional , used his time wisely. He presented his pricing without haggling and manipulation, as had occurred at another VW dealer. He was careful to explain features I did not understand. He delivered my car ( a 2+ hour drive each way) and spent an additional hour of orientation with me. The entire purchase process was smooth and quick, with one or two minor bits of miscommunication as regards funds transferral. I would not hesitate to buy again from Mario and Jack Ingram.

I've never purchased a vehicle "online" before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Fred Jackson and the team at Ingram could not have made it any easier. On a rainy Saturday from my couch three hours away, I purchased my new Jetta Hybrid for a great price. They even gave me a great trade-in value on my vehicle based on pictures I forwarded to them that same morning. As an educated consumer, the simplicity of this transaction was certainly not what I had expected. I called on a Saturday morning looking for a Golf or Sportwagen TDI. Rita answered the phone and was very helpful. When I arrived, she had several cars ready for me to look at and let me test drive them all. I was a little hesitant to buy (I always am with new cars), but I didn't feel pressured into making a decision. Rita and Guy worked with me and offered a great deal, so it was a no brainer. Rita, Guy and Rachel all went the extra mile and stayed an hour after closing to help me get out of there with my new car. I would have to say that the people at Jack Ingram Volkswagen were absolutely awesome!!! They made my first new car purchase a great experience! I spent about 10 days looking for a car and had visited many different dealerships in the area, most of them made me feel uncomfortable. I walked on the lot at Jack Ingram and was treated like a friend. Danielle Scott made me feel at home, she was so nice and went out of her way to make sure all of our questions were answered. I never felt pressured like most of the other places I had visited, which was so nice. Went to lunch to think about the purchase and returned to say yes, it didn't take me long!! Guy Martin went out of his way to ensure that I got the color I wanted in the new 2014 JETTA TDI, went to Atlanta to pick it up!! When I picked up my care they all spent a couple hours with me explaining the Service Department, all the features in my car, setting up my phone, CAR-NET and ensuring that my car was detailed!! I did not wish to purchase a vehicle in that price range but I inquired about another new vehicle that I had spotted on a previous visit when I picked up my car after having an oil change. Fred offered me a deal on that vehicle that I couldn't refuse. He made the buying experience very pleasant and FAST as I drove away in my new VW GTI just over an hour later. I have to rate this as the best buying experience I have ever experienced buying a car. I would have to rate Fred and the entire Jack Ingram staff as superb. The next day Fred Jackson called to inquire if I had any questions or issues that I wanted to bring up and also to inquire on my satisfaction with the car and the whole experience I had making the purchase. To which I replied that I had no questions or issues to raise and that I was extremely satisfied with the buying experience. I will heartily recommend Fred Jackson and Jack Ingram Motors to all my friends who are looking to purchase a new or quality pre owned vehicle.

I contacted Jack Ingram Motors via their internet page. I requested contact via email as I work the night shift and value my sleep. Mr. Jackson contacted me through my email account, thereby honoring my request not to wake me during my sleeping hours!! I had already picked a vehicle out that I was interested in. Fred Jackson was our sales person during our recent purchase of a 2014 Passat TDI, manual transmission. Fred is a fantastic individual, and is a top-notch sales person. He represents Jack Ingram in a way that would make anybody proud. Background: We didn't know for sure what car or model we wanted, so based on the criteria we provided Fred got us keys to several cars. He let us test drive each vehicle, on our own, which is something no other local dealership allows. That independence allowed us time to really get to know the car. After we made our selection, Fred was able to locate the actual vehicle we wanted. We negotiated a purchase price by phone last Friday afternoon. We closed the transaction yesterday (Tuesday). They are very friendly and helpful. My story is: I took my 09 VW Beetle into service. I had just purchased this Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle in February and love it! The EPC light in the vehicle would come on and my car hesitated and the battery light came on and the vehicle just shut down while driving. This was my husband and I's first time to purchase a new car. We went through the USAA car buying service and within the hour Fred Jackson had contacted me by email and phone. We were very impressed with the overall experience! Rick explained the pro's and con's concerning the two models we were interested in and was extremely knowledgable and friendly. Car salesman can get a bad wrap for being pushy but we never felt pressured in any way. Rick explained our financing options and what would be better/worse - down to the monthly payment that we felt most comfortable with. They detailed our car, filled up the tank, and Rick even set up the Bluetooth feature in the vehicle before we left. The whole staff made my first experience buying a brand new car very enjoyable! I looked at several dealerships for different kinds of cars but kept coming back to Jack Ingram Volkswagen even though I didn't think I was going to buy a VW. I came back because Mario was such a knowledgeable, friendly salesman who really knew his stuff, and I felt like I could trust him. I came back to look at a used Nissan Rogue, but Mario was busy and Fred took over for him. Mario had already told me about the great deal on new cars, and he and Fred showed me that I could have a NEW Jetta for the same amount of money I would pay for a used car because of the zero percent financing and the three years of free service. At other dealers I had ended up waiting as much as 20 - 30 minutes, but I never waited at all at Jack Ingram VW. Mario asked Fred to immediately take over since he was busy with another customer. The customer service is great. After I bought the car, Fred took us on a tour and introduced us to the service people who will be caring for us in the future. The service personnel were also friendly and professional. It's a classy operation. I would recommend it to anyone.

It is hard to find a salesperson that knows their product in the auto industry. Rita knew hers. My wife and I had looked at several different cars during the last couple of months. I researched on-line until I find what interests me or will suit our needs. Then we take a first hand look at each car that has caught our attention. While doing the "first look" I try to determine the attitude and knowledge of the sales staff and the dealership in general. Having narrowed our choice to three possible cars, we went to look at them closely. We have been buying new cars for a long time (our first new car was a 1961 Buick Skylark Coupe) so we had a good idea of what we were looking at and dealing with. Rita new her product and treated us with respect, unlike some sales person at other agencies that either talk down to you, don't know their product or don't respect you as a person, only a sale. I have owned VW's before (hasn't everyone old enough to remember the Bug?). This however, is my first diesel. We bought a Jetta Sportswagen TDI. So far, after 112 miles, we love it. It is a joy to drive. We were treated fairly throughout the ordeal of buying a new car! Thank you Rita, and thank you Jack Ingram Volkswagen. Once I have experienced your service department, I will be able to comment on that aspect.

My salesman was Lin Williams, who had been recommended to me by a friend who had bought a vehicle from him in the past. Since I live about 80 miles away, we conducted most of our transaction over the phone & by internet. When I arrived on a Saturday morning, Lin had everything ready & waiting for me and was super nice and helpful. Lin is, how do I put it, a "trustworthy-looking" salesman, not your average-looking "car salesman" type....you know what I mean. He was genuine. I had a phenomenal experience buying a new Volkswagen Jetta GLI at Jack Ingram VW. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone interested in their cars. I initially conducted an online search for a vehicle using the USAA car buying system. Within minutes, Rick called me and we set up an appointment to test drive several vehicles. I was left alone to put a TDI Passat and GLI Jetta through their paces and selected the Jetta. They gave me a very reasonable price on the 13 year old Jeep Wrangler I traded in and the whole process went very smoothly. I selected Volkswagen's 0.0 % financing for 60 months over the pre-approved loan that USAA provided. I am very pleased with the car and the professional manner in which the entire staff at Jack Ingram acted.

She met us very promptly and after determining what we wanted, she proceeded to show us several vehicles that would meet our needs. My husband could not decide between 3 of the vehicles that he liked. However, Rita was extemely patient and courteous in answering all of his questions and helping him make the final choice. Her knowledge of the vehicles was impressive and her her outgoing manner was refreshing. She truly went that "extra mile" to insure we were satisfied with our decision. Justin was the service writer for servicing my 2013 VW Passat. A part was needed that had to be ordered from Jacksonville, FL. The car had to be kept overnight. Justin was very accomendating in getting a rental car. The car was serviced in a timely and efficient manner. Justin called as soon as the car was repaired, washed and cleaned and was ready for pick-up. Justin has a very friendly attitude and is concerned about his customers.

I am 53 years old, so I have purchased many vehicles over the years. I have been anticipating the arrival of the 2013 TDI Beetle. When the dealer got one in, I came in for a test drive. My sales person was Rita Shugrue. After the test drive, I asked Rita to see if there was a diesel Beetle configured the way I wanted. They found one at the port in Georgia. Rita had my 2009 Jetta evaluated and the dealership made me an offer. I went home and did some research on the value of my Jetta. I returned to the dealership the next day and made a counter-offer. The dealership accepted my counter-offer, and the deal was done. It was the simplest and most pleasant negotiation of my life. I highly recommend Rita Shugrue and the Jack Ingram dealership.

I dropped by to test drive a GTI. From the moment Melody greeted me as I exited my old ride... it was unlike any car shopping experience I have had in my twenty years of buying cars in this area.... It was great! ... By the end of the whole deal I ended up buying a GTI R !!! ... An up sale... Lol.. That's proof of a good sale!Melody was amazingly the first car salesman that knew about cars... Never had that before! She wasn't dishing out the " the same old hash"... She knew about the car... My wife and I were researching small used cars for her to use. She enjoys driving hatchback vehicles, so we went to see different make and models in this style. We visited a dealership offering a 2011 MINI Cooper with 30,000 miles for $19,900. It was a very nice car with a lot of features and the salesman was professional. We then went to Jack Ingram Volkswagen and were greeted at the door by Rick Murray. We explained what we were researching and Rick showed us a 2011 Volkswagen Golf with 20,000. Rick let us try the vehicle, with my wife driving, and during the test drive was very courteous, explaining all the details and specifications of the car. When we returned to the dealership, Rick stated the price was $16,900. We were floored by the value, and asked Rick to check to be sure this was the price. Rick checked and assured this was the price for the vehicle. We entered the necessary sales negotiations process, and Rick truly demonstrated how he is a high-caliber professional salesman. He offered several options and was very patient with us. We secured the purchase of the vehicle, and Rick proceeded to have the Golf detailed. While this process was occuring over the lunch hour, my wife inadvertantly stated I did not have lunch; so Rick offered pizza, which was a kind jesture. Rick escorted me to Ms Killough, who also was an exemplary professional that processed our paperwork promptly and courtesily. Bottom line: This was my fourth automobile purchase in 15 years and is the best car buying experience I have had!!!

I am on a very tight budget because I'm a teacher, and as you know, we make very little money. In addition, I have a son in college, and every single penny is taken each month to pay my basic expenses and my son's college bills. This being said, I have negelected my 2007 Beetle service needs for the last year. I knew I needed service, but just could not afford it. Eventually, my headlights went out, and I made a Saturday appointment with Jack Ingram to get the headlights fixed. I knew I need additional service so, I decide to go ahead with an oil change and tire rottation and balance. My appointment was at 8:30 AM on Saturday September 29th. I arrived a little early at 8:10 AM. I was met by a Jack Ingram employee, Justin Worthington. I was dreading the worst, because everyone in Montgomery told me that Jack Ingram charges too much. Well, Justin greeted me with a warm "hello," and "good morning." He had a nice, friendly smile on his face. I was impressed and then told him about my financial situation. He said he could work with me and he did. I feel like I got the best automotative service I have ever received today. Even though I had to spend more than I intended, I felt as though Justin was on my side and worked with me to get the best price possible on my repairs. Even though I ended up paying a good deal of money for an oil change, brand new tires, an alignment, new headlights, and a new back up light that was also blown, I felt through the entire process that Justin did his very best to work with me. I left Jack Ingram, not upset at the bill, but very pleased with the service I received at Jack Ingram today. For all my future VW repairs, I will use the Saturday service at Jack Ingram Motors in Montgomery and I will recommend this service to any of my friends. Justin Worthington, in my humble opinion, is a fine young man who I felt really cared for me as a customer and as a person! He continually kept me informed about the price and the stauts of the repairs. Jack Ingram is very fortunate to have employees like Justin Worthington and whomever actually did the repairs on my VW Beetle; I'm very sorry I did not get the teachnicians name(s). My experience only proves that you can still get good quality service at a fair price. I give my highest recommendation to Jack Ingram Motors in Montgomery, Alabama and to Justin Worthington!!!!!!!

My experience at Jack INgram Volkswagen service was the best customer service I EVER had. When I first went in, I was really upset that my 2011 Volkswagen had the same problem (coolant leak) for the third time. I'm in the military and stationed in Maryland, but I'm in Alabama for 7 weeks for temporary duty. I felt that the staff here really cared, from Betty Ann Lloyd, who was so polite, pleasant, and professional every time we spoke, on the phone or in person. I am most impressed with my service technician, Steven McArthur. He was able to find a problem that my service station in Maryland did not find in the previous 2 visits for the coolant leak. His level of expertise is far superior and I really just want to take him back to Maryland with me! He was super nice and took the time to show me what the problem was instead of just handing me a bill. If I could come back to Jack Ingram VW service every time my car needed maintenance or service done, I absolutely would. Everyone in the service department was very friendly. Criss and Justin had exceptional customer service and professionalism. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much.

I contacted Jack Ingram Volkswagen in July 2012 initially to inquire about a car lease for a VW Golf. As an International Student, I did not have a US phone number and I was contactable only via email for an extended period of time. Fortunately, I was served by Rita Shugrue, who was prompt in replying my emails and diligent in answering my queries about the Golf. In addition, Rita was also extremely understanding of my situation as a foreign student: despite that I lack eligibility for a car lease because of my foreign status, Rita voluntarily went the extra mile to look for alternate solutions that would make me qualify for a leasing program. At the dealership, my Dad and I were impressed by the thoughtfulness, hospitality and professionalism demonstrated by Rita. Both my Dad and I felt that the service provided by Rita was excellent, and we enjoyed the process of negotiating for a car deal with her very much. Ultimately, my Dad and I purchased a Golf from Jack Ingram, and we were very satisfied with how its delivery was promptly and professionally handled by Rita. My 2003 VW Passat has had many problems bc of how old it is and how many miles is on it. Justin Worthington made my experience such a delight and is one of the main reasons I go back. He makes me feel like I'm part of the Volkswagen family and goes above and beyond for his customers. Also, I go back because of the great work of the mechanics and technicians. More times than not if I bring my car to another place to get fixed I wind up dealing with them breaking something else or forgetting to put something back and it turns into a huge ordeal and is stressful when you need a car to function in Montgomery. Also, the technician that usually works on my car is Steve McArthur and every time i bring it to him I am relaxed because he knows what he is doing and it puts me at ease to know the job will get done fast and efficiently. His quality of work is rather outstanding and when I get my car back I feel safe and satisified that the job got done and he always exceeds my expectations.

I found this deaslership because of Lin Williams. Lin has been the only person that I have bought a car from in 8 years. He has sold me four cars total and he is just a great salesperson. First let me start by saying that I am terrible on cars. I'm on the road all the time, put lots of miles on a car, and for some strange reason, I seem to have a problem with flat tires and dead batteries. Whatever my problem, the guys at Jack Ingram are always willing and able to take care of me. Criss is who I've always dealt with in VW service in the past, and God Bless him for putting up with me. He is always very professional and it's evident that he knows cars. I just picked up my car from my 50k service, and this time, Justin took care of me. He was a pleasure to work with from prompt phone calls on the progress of my car to his accurate quote for the services rendered. I would highly recommend either of them to take care of you when it comes to having your car serviced. I've purchased two cars from Jack Ingram, and both times, Robbie made it incredibly easy. Since then, he's always been a phone call away to answer any questions concerning my cars, and if I'm having one of those 'problems' I frequently have, he's there with an answer and a way to fix it. I drove over from Linden with a scheduled appointment and they were ready for me, even though I showed up early. They got me in even while it was still lunchtime for them. I'm very pleased with the service I've received from Jack Ingram Volkswagen. I've had my daughter's Jetta at service centers in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. I won't recommend either one. Mr. Brock has been very helpful to me each time I've brought my car in for servicing. He told that they have to perform a number of checks on a car beside the problem that you may have. This is preventive maintenance on my vehicle to ensure it is running properly and safely as my daughter travels to and from school. I highly recommend Jack Ingram Volkswagen to service your vehicle. I am from Abbeville S.C. which is a five hour drive to Ingram Motors. I found a 2011 Kia Sorento on cars.com and called and spoke to Mr. Murray. Being a 23 yr old woman and first time to purchase a car, not to mention the distance I would have to drive I was very anxious and nervous. Mr. Murray spent a great deal of time on the phone with me making sure I was as comfortable as possible and that I understood every detail I needed or wanted to know about purchasing my Sorento. When I arrived at Ingram Motors Mr. Murray was extremely hospitable and actually made me feel like he was a sincere friend. He took the time to show me everything I could possibly need to know about my car and the papers we went over. The car was in exceptional condition and he made sure that I received a deal I thought fair enough to drive five hours to receive. Before I left in my Sorento for my five hour drive home Mr. Murray wished me a safe trip and offered to be of any help if needed. To be blunt car dealers are usually sketchy in my opinion. Mr. Murray had my full trust after a short talk on the phone and when in person he proved to be an outstanding person and an amazing car dealer that I would recommend to everyone and anyone. It was early when we got to the dealership but we where greated by Rick in a friendly & enthusiastic way. He was so patient and let us test drive both vehicles so we could make the best decision for us. He gave us great information on both cars to help us make our decision easier. When we had finally decided on the right vehicle he even called another dealership to get the vehicle with navigation instead of trying to sell us the one he already had. I was nice to feel that we came first. We negotiated for several hours and he never lost his wonderful positiv adituied. Guy Martin tried really hard to get us a good price and finance rate. We where so surprised about the rate when it was all finished, this is the 2nd time Volkswagen financing came through for us! We where well taken care off during the process. Kara answered all of our warranty and questions about the gap insurance! The only thing I was a little disappointed about was, when we didn't get rims or nav system like we originally wanted and we ask for free window to tinting we whrer only given a hundred dollars towards it. I think free would have been more than adequate for the amount we spent. Overall we are very satisfied, will recommend the dealership to other mitary friends in Fort Rucker and will be back when we are ready to trade up to a Passat SEL TDI.

Justin has been the Service Advisor on several of my visits to Ingram's VW and as a result I think of him in terms of a friend, as well as service advisor. His interest in my problem as well as his attention to detail, from drop-off of my car until pick-up, insures that I leave with a continued sense of satisfaction, and with a determination that when ever additional maintance, or service is required, I will again return to Justin at Ingram's with my Jetta TDI. Jim Hughs is the best car dealer my husband and I have ever met. From the moment my husband contacted him, about our interest in a 2012 Passat TDI, we received the greatest and most personable service. He made us feel as though we were the most important customers he had. Not once did we feel any pressure to purchase a vehicle. He cared more about helping us make the right choice then he did about selling us a car. Jim was not only was extremely knowledgeable on all the Volkswagen vehicles, but also organized and friendly. His level of honesty and integrity far surpasses that of the areas local dealerships. My husband and I have a very hectic schedule and he showed his level of commitment by making himself available to answer my husbands questions late in the evening and on the weekends. On a day that most people wouldnt even consider working, Sunday, he answered my husbands numerous phone calls requesting more information on the Passat we were interested in purchasing and the vehicle we were planning on trading in. More importantly he walked us through the purchasing process and gave us an extremely generous offer on our trade in vehicle. That is something we were not expecting.Overall we had a wonderful experience working with Jim Hughs and the Jack Ingram family. The service personnel were interested in being paid via telephone, but they did not complete the work on my vehicle as promised. They had my car 2 weeks and when I drove 2 hours to pick it up, they had not completed all services.

This was our second stop of a day that started out to be a try numerous vehicles out for size but we're not sorry we stopped here. The salesman (Rick Murray) was excellent and the car (2011 Gold TDI) is wonderful. Everyone we dealt with that day were nice and friendly and seemed to know their jobs well. If I had one complaint it would be that I felt that our trade in was undervalued as it was in pristine condition and we should have gotten a bit more from it. Other than that I would give them high marks.

I was in the market for a new GTI and had contacted several dealers to see who could give me the best deal when I received a call from Rick Murray at Jack Ingram Volkswagen. He got me the best deal around. Being from Birmingham, I was hesitant about purchasing a vehicle out of town. But Rick got the exact car I wanted along with a great deal. My husband and I got to the dealership on Saturday on our way out of town on vacation. Rick was not working but he put us in the more than capable hands of Jim Hughes. Jim had everything ready and put together for the best car buying experience I've ever had! Jim took his time and showed me all the details of the car as well as setting up my bluetooth phone and the satellite radio. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was friendly and very professional. I will defiantly recommend them to my family and friends for their future car purchases. I could not be more pleased. In 2009/early 2010, Service dept at Jack Ingram made things quite pleasant. The staff was professional, upfront with costs and prompt. I have no clue where they are today but hopefully are at better paying jobs. The fools they have now could not operate a lemonade stand correctly. Costs are NOT explained up front, services rendered one day have to be repaired yet again another day, you had BETTER know your vehicle because chances are they DO NOT, and updates/further contact once they have your car hostage? Good luck with that. They tell you one time it will be ready, fail to produce on said time and then lie TO YOUR FACE about what they told you. What is wrong with admitting things took longer than expected or things happen? Jack Ingram VW, the ONLY thing you are 'excellent' about is driving THIS unsatisfied customer away to find a better customer-service oriented dealership. You were a convenient location for work and base; now you are just an 'excellect' example of where NOT TO GO. Your desire to be 'excellent' needs more than just a 'want to'; you need the people with the drive to DO SO.

In relation to a previous survey answered my response was more to the length of time taken than the overall dealership itself. I do realize my time of purchase was on a Friday and to most places of business "after hours." However, the staff I dealt with was most courteous and gracious enough to stay the extra time to get the purchase complete. I am very happy with my purchase and would most definitely recommend the dealership to family & friends who are in the market for purchasing a pre-owned or new vehicle.

The truth is that I was almost sure I wanted the car and I knew what this model would sell for, so there were no surprises, but the interaction was pleasant. Rick the salesman seems quite knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Stan the finance dude was affable and fairly quick to get the paperwork done. The architecture of the building is interesting and the interior absolutely spotless. Calling the customer a "guest" seems silly to me--I am there to buy or not to buy--but that is probably some marketing guru's idea. If the car works out well, this was a good beginning.

I purchased my 2011 Volkswagen Golf TDI from Mr. Jeremy Adams of JIVW back in January. I needed a car that got extremely good fuel economy and had good highway driving characteristics for my daily commute to work from Opelika to Montgomery, a 160 mile round trip. Jeremy assured me that the Golf TDI was an excellent choice for my particular need and proved it with a test drive on the interstate highway. This car comes from the land of the autobahn & I wasn't prepared for how good it actually was! Jeremy also took care of my financing needs in house and got me what I expected for my trade in. I left with my new VW and the feeling that I'd just had the best car buying experience of my life! I've since been back to JIVW for my 10K mile service and got the same great treatment and service from the service adviser and service dept.. I will most assuredly recommend JIVW to my family & friends for their automotive needs. Not many automobile dealerships achieve the level of professionalism this one provides.

When I purchased my car from Jack Ingram Volkswagen, the people there were extremely helpful and friendly. My other car had a problem, and would not drive. Rick, a salesman, came and picked me up, so that I could go to JIVW. This was late on a Saturday, and Rick and the manager stayed after hours and accommodated my every need. The following Wednesday, when I completed the transaction, the other departments, were helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience.

Mr. Hughes went out of his way to ensure that I received the product I was expecting at a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle. He also kept and open line of communication with me via phone and email throughout the entire buying process and has offered to provide subsequent communication indefinitely. My family lives in Tuscaloosa and we purchased a 2011 VW Jetta from Jack Ingram with the assistance of Jim Hughes back in January. We loved the car and the people at Jack Ingram were extremely kind and professional. After shopping around the entire state, we got the exact deal we were looking for at Jack Ingram. They even delivered the vehicle free of charge.Unfortunately, we lived in the Cedar Crest neighborhood in Tuscaloosa, and on April 27th, our home and vehicles were destroyed in the tornado. Fortunately, however, my family was able to walk away after the storm. After contacting Stan Riley at the dealership, Jim Hughes and the staff in Montgomery helped us in getting the exact same model vehicle with the exact same deal as before. I cannot say enough for the character of people there and the quality of business I've received. I'll recommend this dealership to everyone.

We met for the first time on May 7, 2011 when we went to pick up our 2011 VW Jetta TDI with Nav and apperance package and we are LOVING IT. We live in Tuscaloosa, which is over two hours away from the dealership. Chris Brock and the service techs he works with have made us very welcome when we need to come, and made sure we do not have to make the trip often. it is very worth the time and gas to have a dealership that takes such good care of us, especially with a modern, computerized, and sometimes fussy car. we HIGHLY recommend our friends at Jack Ingram Volkswagen! Oh yes. we learned about this dealership from my mom, who takes her Volvo in for service there.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. I own a VW I took there to fix a coolant leak. After having my car for one week, they could not diagnose the problem. They finally claimed to have found the problem and charged me over $360. To make long story short, they never did fix the problem and they admitted so. Jack Ingram Motors offered an alternate fix. I offered to pay for the part but not the labor because I know replacing a coolant tank only take 10 minutes. The guy said "Take it or leave it" and tried handing me back the key. Imagine how you'd feel about that after knowing they just charged you $360 for a random repair. No apology at any point during the conversation but ridiculed the victim (customer) after scamming them. Needless to say, I got the heck out of there after giving them an earful. It was obvious they had no intention to putting things right after doing so much wrong. Apparantly, they are quite famous for wrong reasons according to my co-workers. I wish I had talked to them before I went....

We just moved to the area and brought in a 2006 Audi A4 convertible with a convertible top that had been improperly repaired by a dealer in Virginia (Audi of Alexandria). Jack Ingram's staff did a great job assessing the damage and then showing us exactly what was wrong. They then repaired the damage for a very reasonable price. We are very happy customers.

I purchased a used vehicle and had a problem right after purchasing it. Before the purchase I was treated fair, after the purchase and upon returning it to them to discuss the problem they acted as if they was unaware work had been done previously on the vehicle. I was also told, that was not their problem even though I only had the vehicle a week. I dealt with three different people from Sales Associate, to Management, and Finance Mgr. #1 complaint they don't listen to the customer after a sale unless you are spending more money.
