My wife and I decided it was time to replace our aging truck. This was a big descion for us. We did a lot of research before heading to the dealership. We were greeted by Russ Sebastian after arriving at Jack Schmitt Ford. Mr. Sebastian was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the Ford Truck line. His very no pressure approach was much appreciated. He showed us several trucks answered all of our questions. Never in this process did we feel pressured or talked down to as we experienced in some of the other dealerships we visited. The atmosphere is very friendly. One of my brothers bought a truck from here 2 years ago and the salesman was Mike Miller. My mom leased a SUV last year and the salesman was Brad. When I went to the lot on Monday to look at vehicles, the person that happen to come out was Mike! That was some coincidence!! He was so helpful, patient, nice, informative and knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy and took the time to really focus on what I was looking for. The vehicle that matched what I wanted was in MO but got sold within hours. Went to dealer because it was close and we have had good service there before, but not this time! The horn on my wife's car for some reason just stopped working. Never heard of this before on a car that is not that old. Dropped off car in morning and they called me with esstamate and fixed the car. When I went to pick up the car after looking at the bill thinking the price was a little high so I asked for the old horn back so I could test it out myself. The service writer went out to the shop came back and told me they threw it out in the trash and I was welcome to go out to dig through the dumpster to see if I could find it!

Test drove a 2016 Focus ST a few months ago at Jack Schmitt Ford and liked it so much that I decided to factory order one. Clint Haynes was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the car and ordering through him was a breeze. Wow, what an outstanding car buying experience. From when we first step foot on the lot to when we drove away in our new Edge, we were treated like family. Car shopping is not easy when you have two kids with you, but our experience at Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln was stress free! While Mike explained the features on the different vehicles we were looking at, the staff gave the kids balloons to help keep them entertained. We were free to look around the lot on our own so that we could take some time to think about our options. After test-driving two different cars, we knew we found the one. Mike and Andy made our car buying experience as pleasant as can be and were very helpful with answering any questions we had. They definitely took away the hassle of your "normal" car buying experience. The knowledgeable, courteous, welcoming staff sets this dealership a part from others. Michael became a middle man and I leave little of the responsibility on him. I believe Ben and Jamie were very helpful. Beyond that, they will never see my vehicle again. Anything Ford related will be handled at another dealership. One simple request. Do not put a license plate holder on the front. I ORDERED THIS VEHICLE, so they are not required to do this. I get the call with Michael stating a plate holder had been put on the vehicle. If I had not been waiting for this car, I would not have taken delivery. The thought of someone else driving the car I ordered and having to wait for the same car to get here, again, was not worth the wait. So they had me over a barrel. I requested a new bumper cover (The car is brand new) and they refused. Then they agreed to fix the holes. Fix? A brand new car and they want to fix the holes, they placed. What a load of crap.

We had a great experience working with Damon. Before buying the car we had looked at several dealerships throughout St Louis County, MO and many counties in Illinois. Honestly, we had been searching for the car we wanted for months. The day we decided to buy we had originally gone to Auffenburg and priced out the car. Jack Schmitt was on our way home from OFallon IL so we stopped in with the price that Auffenburg had given us and asked Damon if he could beat their price. The rest as they say is history. After searching ford F-150s online among the dealerships in my local area I decided to drive to Jack Schmitts in Collinsville and look at their new and used trucks in stock. Jim Smith was the salesman that came out and greeted me as i looked over the trucks. He was not pushy or aggressive about making a sale but actually took the time to explain the trucks on display and answer all my questions. I told him that we were not buying just looking and he was perfectly okay with that and gave me a business card and asked if I wanted to see any other trucks. He was professional and very friendly. This was a big reason as to why i returned later that week. Also they had exactly what I was looking for in price range and model in their used car selection. When I returned and met with Jim he did not rush me or make it feel like i was being pushed into buying any vehicle I did not want. Once I had settled on the truck I wanted and we discussed pricing and trade in of my old car we met with Ben Firnkes who helped us go with the loan provider we felt comfortable with and got us a lower interest rate than we had originally been quoted by that loan provider before going to the dealership.

I have purchased 3 cars in the past 18 months for me and my wife from 3 different dealerships. The sales experience with Jim Smith and the financing meeting with Jamie Stack were the best by far of the dealerships I worked with. I am an accountant and I know I got a very fair deal working with Jim. Never felt pressured, never felt I was being sold, never felt I was getting a less than honest answer. Like doing business with a friend. Jamie Stack in financing knew what she was talking about and explained details in the clearest way possible. Obviously knew what she was talking about. The dealership team made sure I got exactly what I wanted at a fair price. Though they didn't have the vehicle color and options I wanted, they went out of their way to find it at another dealership in the region and, again, for a fair price.

Let me start by saying purchasing a vehicle is not my list of fun things to do. Sure I enjoy picking one out and driving it but everything in between turns my stomach. We went to Jack Schmitt Ford when we were ready to buy a new truck mainly because of the excellent service we have received over the past few years from the service department. We had found the truck that we wanted on their website and had an idea what we wanted for our trade in. They were very close to that with the first offer and threw in a spray in bed liner to make up the difference. Jim and Jamie explained everything very well and we were extremely satisfied. Since it was 2 days before Christmas, Jim put a big bow on the truck like the commercials to make our son happy. We will definitely go back when we are ready to buy another vehicle.

I went through USAA Car Buying Service on Sunday, and was contacted by Russ Sebastian first thing Monday morning. I explained to Russ, my wife and I had been looking at the 2015 Lincoln MKS, but our color combinations and option packages turned out to be very hard for Russ to find within 500 miles. As we were planning a 1,000 mile road trip in three short weeks, we were extremely eager to find our car and get the deal closed. We ended up having to compromise on some of our initial options (FWD instead of AWD and Platinum Dune instead of Ruby Red exterior), but we ended up with a beautiful vehicle. Russ put up with our fickleness and remained extremely patient as we kept calling him daily and asking him to find something slightly different than the day before. Jaime Stack quickly got our financing arranged to our satisfaction, and the deal was closed quickly. My only disappointment was with the used car appraiser who only gave us $24,000 for our trade-in which Kelly Blue Book appraised trade-in at $29,000 - $32,000. Two days after taking possession of our trade-in, the dealership listed it on their web site for $36,000 -- a $12,000 margin. But overall, we had a very pleasurable experience with Russ and Jaime and appreciated their thoroughness and professionalism.

On time for appointment and was told approximately 2 hours to complete a single recall update and software update. Was actually 3 plus hours.After that work was completed, clock was not reset to correct time.Men's restroom towel dispenser not working, but no one seemed to care.Water bottles offered in lounge refrigerator, but was actually empty.Offered ride in 5 minutes to place to get breakfast, but had to re-ask and was actually about 20 minutes. WIFI did not work while I was there.Sitting in lounge for over an hour past the 2 hour promise, my observation is that little urgency is shown with regard to customer compared to when I bought vehicle from Jack Schmitt. Although these service items were being completed at Ford's expense, I would like to feel like someone is actually concerned about keeping me informed about progress and that did not happen.None of these

I had a good time the day I bought my new car. I really didn't know what I wanted or if I wanted anything at all. I got to test drive anything on the lot that caught my eye. Clint took the time to walk me around the entire lot and let me see every thing new and used. Anything that I wanted to drive he went and got the keys. I had a fun day driving cars and seeing what new stuff is out there. For me budget was not much of a concern but I did have credit issues in the past. They got me financed for for 0% and with a payment that was well below what I said I wanted to spend. I left there happy and with a car that I love.

We had the most wonderful experience buying our new car with Jack Schmitt in Collinsville. We had made an appointment for 11 am. When we arrived we were greeted with a smiling person. We told them we had an appointment with Russ. They found him within seconds. We were interested in The Lincoln MKX. He had a 2015 and a 2016 pulled up near the door with keys ready for both. We took a test drive and loved the vehicle. We then went to his office to talk numbers. Buying a car is a big purchase for us, so we asked if my husband and I could go to lunch and discuss the transaction and then return with our decision. Russ gave us directions to some places to eat and as we were leaving, gave us a gift card to one of the restaurants nearby. We called him with some questions we had and he had that information for us when we returned. There was never any pressure. He was polite, down to earth and easy to talk to. I can"t say enough about our wonderful experience. We had stopped at another dealership earlier in the day, and oh my. There was no comparison. Russ located a vehicle for us in the color we wanted and we set a date to pick it up. The financing experience with Jamie, was just as professional and cordial. My story started late afternoon Tuesday July 14. I had just stopped on the lot to quickly peruse the selection of pickup trucks. My interests were pretty specific and limited and I was just expecting to look a bit and see the ballpark prices. I didn't go inside, or even have interest in talking to a salesperson. Plus, it was very hot on the lot and I doubted anyone would even approach me--which was the case at a Chevy dealer the day before. To my somewhat surprise, Mike Miller made the trek onto the blazing asphalt to greet me and inquire my interests. I told him my specific requests, and he pretty much only had one vehicle that met my criteria. It was a recently traded vehicle which also happened to be the vey first one I looked at when I arrived alone. After some discussion, I agreed to a test drive. He deftly showed me a few of the newer control functions and then we took off on a generous test run.I liked the vehicle, but since I had just begun the search process, I was not ready to let them evaluate my current vehicle (2012 Escape--also from this dealer). I also had obligations later that evening I needed to leave for. I agreed to come by the next afternoon to let them check my vehicle and possibly do a finance inquiry.Upon arriving the next day at the agreed upon time, Mike got my keys and info and started the eval process. He informed me he was also working with some other folks simultaneously and asked if it was ok for his coworker Rich O'Donnell to continue to assist me. I agreed. Rich had obviously been in the car biz quite a while, and understood how to work with a person of my demeanor. We continued with the process all the way through delivery of my new/gently pre-owned truck. The process was running into early evening and both Mike and Rich stayed after their regular hours to help get my transaction completed that day. They were scheduled off the next day, and I would have waited till Friday to finish up, but they insisted they were happy to stay to wrap the deal. I negotiated the final details with Rich and the finance guy who was also most helpful and professional. If you would have told me at lunch Tuesday I would be driving a new vehicle by Wednesday evening, I would have been very doubtful. First off I will start by stating that buying a car is not something I look forward to. But after my experience with Ed Simunich with Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln, he has earned a customer for life. Met with Ed on Tuesday May 19th and negotiated the new car purchase and trade-in in about 25 minutes. The circumstance of the transaction where not typical given that I wouldn't be able to finalize until that Friday but Ed assured me that the car and the deal we had worked out would be there on Friday. I normally don't write reviews, but yesterday my goals were met when I purchased a 2015 Fusion SE 2.0. They worked with me on my trade in value since I knew I was upside down quite a bit, and they even got me a better rate then what I was preapproved with outside of Ford. I never would have thought I'd be approved for such a great rate! I'm very pleased with my new car and the way I was treated at this dealership. I'm planning on sending my dad up there very soon and any friends that are looking!

I'm not one to review something. However, today I am. We needed a newer car. We had a very tight budget. Virtually nothing. We walked into the used cars, looking for one specifically. Of course, it was just sold. Used cars move like lightening during tax season. Disappointed at best, Brad looked at something else for us. Truly not in our price but we decided to test drive. Felt good and looked good, we decided to sit down and talk numbers. I will tell you from the bottom of my heart, Brad and the gentleman who values trade-in went over the top to help us get into this vehicle. We had no wiggle room, yet they truly went above and beyond to help us and by the Grace of God got us to the number we came in with. We thought long about it but in the end the deal was meant to be. I believe situations and people are put in your path for a reason and this deal and salesman were no exception. thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Just purchased a new Ford Focus ST for my son. Our salesperson was Jim Smith. The experience was top notch from the first moment. My son had been in previously to talk with Jim. My son is 23 and had been treated like he was not a serious buyer at other dealerships. Jim treated him with respect even when my son had just been test driving cars to see which one he wanted. When we came back to purchase, Jim and the entire team were friendly and professional. I felt we got a great deal and my son is really happy with his car. There was a small defect in the paint so we met the GM and the service manager to discuss. They are going to fix it at my son's convenience. I would definitely buy from this dealer again.

We called on an Ad for a Kia Soul and talked to Ali Abusharif. My husband said we would swing by the next day. When we arrived the car was sitting up front and Ali was waiting. Answered all of our questions and was extremely friendly and personable. Not at all aggressive. My husband and I took the car out for a test drive and liked the car, but were still wanting to do a little more research on price, models, etc. Ali was not at all pushy, no high pressure sales techniques which is very rare in car sales. We returned a few days later so that I could test drive the car. Decided to buy the car and negotiated a great price. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. If you are wanting to have a great experience buying a car, new or used ask for Ali.

I shopped thru the internet and True Car and was contacted by a few dealers and Jack Schmitt Ford was the closest but after dealing with everyone there and especially Emily Evano I was able to get my Race Red 2014 Focus. The whole staff worked well with me and laughed about my kleptomaniac pen fetish :-) Emily was very knowledgeable and helpful and her personality was just so perky and upbeat I would buy from Jack Schmitt/Emily Evano again even if I moved across the country!!! I just went today for my first oil change and rotation and had a great experiance and even enjoyed talking to the other ford owners in the waiting room and all agreed it was a great place.

After looking at several cars, I decided on the Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid. I live about 50 miles from Jack Schmitt, and there are several Ford dealers closer to my home. I decided to go back to Jack Schmitt Ford because I liked my salesperson. Emily was very nice, not pushy and very knowledgeable on both the Lincoln and Ford vehicles. I buy a lot of cars, but I do not usually enjoy the actual buying experience. This was an exception.

I recently purchased a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan from Jack Schmitt Ford. We had a terrible experience with Auffenberg. We spent literally an entire day at Auffenberg while they tried to get us in a 2010 Chrysler town and Country with 60k miles. They hassled me and were pressuring me to put money down that I did not have. After spending 4 hrs there they came back and said they can't do anything. I asked them well is there a different car we can make it work? there response was simply NO. So My wife and I went straight to Jack Schmitt Ford and met a Salesman named Jim Smith. We told him our situation and he LISTENED! He got our information and my trade information really quick and took us out on a test drive and we got almost everything done within an hour. It was incredible! I will definitely purchase another car from them. they made it so easy and simple.

Finally settled on a Ford Escape.Found one at another dealer and was very disappointed in the service and didnt purchase there. then found a nicer one on line at Jack Schmitt in Collinsville. Talked to Damon several times on the phone before taking the trip of an hour and a half there. He was very professional on the phone. When we arrived the car was ready to drive and he met us at the door. As we test drove he answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable He made us feel comfortable,great salesman. After we purchased the car. My husband mentioned he was looking for a very specific truck. that he was having trouble finding. Damon got to work right away and got Jason to help. Every major dealership sells cars for about the same price. They all offer the same incentives. The different is the people. I have never had a bad experience at Jack Schmitt Ford. My salesperson, Emily Evano helped me through every step of the sales process and 7 months later is still there for me to assist in any service I need. She (and Jack Schmitt)is a godsend in an all too often shady world of car dealers.

I wa looking for a truck, found one at JACK SCHMITT FORD. I talked to EMILY EVANO and she told me about the truck. I was very interested in it, so I told her i lived about 2 hours away and told her the time i would be arriving. She said no problem they would have the truck ready when I got there. so off we went to get a truck. Emily called 5 minutes before arriving and asked when we would be there. I said 5 minutes, ok see you then. When we get there after waiting for her to come out, she told us someone was test driving the truck. So we waited about 40 minutes before the truck came back. Emily told us to go and eat and wait to see if the customer was interested in the truck. She called us back and said it looked like they were going to purchace it. I was very unhappy and dissatisfied after she said it would be ready. I barley seen the truck and wasted about 6 hours of my day. Emily said it was policy. Well Jack Schmitt Ford was the only one I found while looking for a truck with a policy like that. I will never buy a truck or send anyone to Jack Schmitt Ford. A very bad experience.

After doing some extensive "pre-shopping" online, my wife and I left home early on a Friday morning. As we worked our way north towards St Louis we stopped at a few dealerships along the way...either they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, their prices were too high (in my mind), or they just didn't seem like they really cared whether they sold us a car or not. I had found a car (Ford Fusion) that appeared to be just what I was looking for during my online search that was at Jack Schmitt Ford so they were going to be one of our stops. Man, are we glad we held out until we got there! Drove into the parking lot and met salesman Damon Harkins. He was super friendly & very eager to do what he could to sell me a car. I was eating lunch in Collinsville at Fazzi's and decided to go across the street to Jack Schmidt Ford to see if they had any used stow n go vans. I met Ali and he showed me on vehicle that was an option. The next day he emailed me a photo of a van they just got in. It had about 90% of what I was looking for in features. The vehicle was extremely clean and had no mechanical issues. They let me take to my personal mechanic to have checked out. They couldn't find a single thing wrong with the vehicle.Ali was at the top of the list in customer service - Always making sure the vehicle I was looking at would fit my needs. Ali even came to my house 30 minutes away and drove me to the dealership when I needed a ride to pick up my new vehicle.Since Ali was off the next time I came in Clint Haynes helped me. Clint was just a friendly as Ali and with his 20+ years in the car sales business I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles, in particular the vehicle I purchased. Clint also made sure I was aware of charges for financing ahead of time so I wouldn't be surprised.As far as the financing, the experience was the simplest, and non-confrontational experience I have ever had buying a car. Jaime was extremely friendly but knowledgeable at the same time. I could tell she really enjoys what she does. Overall, with the cleanliness of the vehicle, my own mechanic not being able to find anything wrong with the vehicle, the knowledge and friendliness of the sales persons, and the financing experience - It was a 5 star experience. I purchased a new Ford Fusion. I am from St. Louis, but a chose to go to the Illinois side of the river because they had the exact model I was looking for in stock. I took the drive. I thought it would take forever, but it really was no further than St. Peter's or O'Fallon, MO. When I arrived, the staff was professional and courteous. Since I contacted the dealership online prior to going, I already had a salesperson to meet with. There was ZERO pressure. My salesperson was Emily Evano. Let me say this first and foremost...One could not ask for a better salesperson. She was eager to answer all of my questions and willing to show me whatever I wanted. But the key was this... There was none of the cliche pressure or condescension that so often comes with purchasing a car from a dealership. Any of the car purchasing stress that I had when walking in the door immediately disappeared. She was well- trained and knew answers to every question I had. Upon reflection, what was most pleasant about the experience is that she asked me what I wanted instead of trying to convince me of what I needed. She was professional, friendly and genuinely empathetic thoughout every stage of the process. The drive Jack Scmitt was worth it. And Emily Evano made the entire process fantastic.

Am very pleased with my purchase. Initially spoke with dealer over the phone and was given all the details of car with no problems and more importantly was not pushed repeatedly to "come on down" to visit dealer. Told ahead of time I was coming and they had the car already front and center upon my arrival. Drove it, loved and then sat down to buy it. The next part was unexpected, they are VERY reluctant to negotiate price. However, the listed price was already thousands less than I had seen elsewhere (on a certified car no less), and they gave me more than expected on my trade, so I got over it quick. I dealt with "Emily" and would recommend her to anyone, was a pleasure to talk/work with (unlike the sales manager who was a bit terse/gruff). She even got some balloons to take home to the little ones (was simple thing, but a nice touch). Overall, I am very happy and would definitely do business with again.

I own a 2012 Ford Focus with transmission issues, 2 air conditioning issues which required parts to be ordered, blown oil ring (3 days into ownership), Sync radio issues, and leaking transmission fluid (loaner car for 3 days). Fortunately, the car is under warranty. The service department has provided excellent service. I am able to make appointments to suit my schedule. The car is washed after each service call. I would buy another car from the dealership based on the service department's commitment to service quality.

I got a great deal on a used 2013 Ford F-150 FX2. I purchased the truck without ever going to the dealership to see it in person. I asked a ton of questions and Andy Stafford was very responsive by email, phone and text. He was very friendly and helpful. I had the truck shipped 900 miles to San Antonio, TX and it arrived just how he described it. I am very happy with the truck and the service I received before and after the sale. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them.

I called and spoke with someone about a vehicle, they asked if I had a trade-in. I said I have a pink 12 seat bus. I was told they have taken fire engines so bring it in. I took 2 days off from work, drove 13 hrs one way for them to tell me they didn't realize it was a pink bus. I sat for 2 hrs at a table on the show room floor while they tried to line someone up to look at it. I ended up driving the bus back home 13 hrs.

Not long ago, I went to this dealeship to see about buying a ford escape they had on the lot, next thing you know I notices they were low balling me and giving me such a bad deal. They refuse to get this one finace. I even went to another bank & were going to approve it once I got some numbers.. Instead this dealership gave a me number off another vehicle that I did not want. This dealership is not worth buying from. Took me a while to find another vehicle that I finally found & were able to finace it without any problems. So happy I found it & was worth the trip. Save yourself the trouble going to this dealership, they are not honest people. Better off finding a dealership that will work with you.
