I bought a car at this dealership recently. The salesman was patient, asked the maximum price I wanted to pay and showed me only cars that were below that price. I drove quite a few cars and there was no pressure. This is a great place to shop for a car.

They sold me a Mercedes Benz from online. The pictures shown online didn’t show a crack in the windshield that was repaired. Once I got it delivered to me I didn’t see it until the first time I drove the car. I called the dealer (Volkswagen of Macon) and they told me to get it repaired at their cost. I brought the car to a glass shop and they told me that it had been repaired already. I called the dealer back saying that they sold me a car that had a repaired windshield and that I wouldn’t have bought this one had I known it had a repaired windshield. There are many other dealers with the same car online. I won’t be happy until they replace the windshield. We’ll see what they do, but I have a feeling that nothing will be done about the selling me a car that had damage and wasn’t disclosed. Sounds like a bait and switch to me.

Thought I was getting immaculate 2012 Acura MDX which was conveyed to me by the salesman Jim Turner. Flew into Atlanta from Huntsville Al then drove down to Macon to find out there was a dent in door, long scratch down door where it had been keyed, advertised as having tow package and trailer hitch WHICH IT DIDNT HAVE!! Beware, all they are trying to do is get you in the dealership to purchase vehicle, but don't care about customer service aspect or deceiving the customer!! BAD RXPERIENCE... NEVER AGAIN!!!

My fiance and I own a transportation business and he delivers cars to Jackson Automotive from time to time. He had a delivery there and while waiting on his check he walked the showroom floor not with the intention of buying a car! Jim comes along and to make a long story short we've purchased and traded and then purchased another car all within 35 days! Jim helped him get the car he's been wanting for some time! My wife has driven a Volvo S40 for the past 10 years and is ready to purchase another Volvo, so I asked she visit this local dealership that has serviced her present car to see about purchase. My wife had contacted their internet sales person and set up a day for us to see the car. Good impression when we arrived at dealership, but went south quickly. Was asked to wait to see salesman. After several minutes, the salesman and sales manager appeared and both acted as if they had no idea why we were there. Then they had to locate a sales person. They bothered kid sitting near front door playing on his phone. They then wanted us to wait in the air conditioning for them to get stock number and pull car into shade. My wife walked out the door to the car she wanted to see on the lot. Took sales person ten minutes or more to find key and get to car. Will go to Atlanta to make this purchase.

I was shopping for the car of my dreams and found it on this dealerships website. I was contacted by Kerri and was told the vehicle was still there and available. She advised me that whenever I was coming to see/purchase the vehicle to call first so they can hold it for me since Im driving over an hour away. So I called on Friday April 1st talked to Kerri and advised I was on the way. The Manager David Morgan contacted me back the same day and asked if I could come Saturday instead they wanted to close on time that Friday, they all had previous engagements. Not to worry the truck was still there so he would see me the next day (Saturday.) At this time Im thinking good customer service, I like how they take the time to let me know whats going on. So I called Saturday morning again sw Curtis (doing what Kerri advised me to do) and advised him I was on the way coming from Atlanta to see/purchase the vehicle. he said ok its here waiting on YOU. Now after driving a 1 due to interstate 75 South spring break traffic and so forth. I get to the dealership excited and ready to see this vehicle for the sales person Curtis to advise me that it had just SOLD. Now the first problem for me was that NO one called me to advise me of this as I called to tell them I was driving in and the fact that all 3 of these people had called me before but no one thought to call me when someone else showed interest in the vehicle. SECOND I felt very discriminated against with the little service given, and no one cared about customer service at all.Curtis was like it was sold and we have something similar but thats it. Then, David comes to me and explained really nothing other than it sold (again). No one could explain why I didnt get a call to turn around or save me a tripDavid called to tell me not to come the day before because they wanted to leave on time that evening ???? So now David the sales manager says he will locate me another vehicle just like I wanted within a week, also give me a gift card for my time..he will be in touch.. Today is April 12, 2016 and I have YET to hear from him or anyone from this dealership. So I say to all my people be leery of this dealership when traveling from a distance. I know and have a lot of family down south in the surrounding areas, and I plan to pass this word a lonnnnnggggg way. Still waiting ..

I have an excellent credit score, yet this dealership offered me a high interest rate. I understand some dealers earn some of their money from the loans they make; but I felt my good credit deserved better. You may want to get your loan directly from a credit union or bank.

I searched and searched for a specific vehicle for my business all around the Chattanooga area, only to find that my local dealers were not the greatest to work with.... I found the car of my dreams in Macon at Jackson (300 miles from my home)....My husband and my self had been dreading "dealing" with another salesman, but Jim Turner and Greg Roberts made us feel so welcome and comfortable through the whole process...We cannot praise them enough for their hospitality, kindness & honesty.... I give Jackson a 5 star rating. in a short time, Wendel Nelson found the exact vehicle I wanted, obtained a fair trade in price, handled the paper work, and delivered the car to me over 100 miles away.The dealership maintained my previously owned Mercedes and Volvo for years. The service department is honest, fast, and easy to deal with.I've been in many dealerships through the years, but honestly, Jackson is overall the very best. Everyone at Jackson Automotive was very kind and professional during my unique shopping experience. A friend of mine worked with Kerri Bell via emails and phone calls to get the vehicle with the options I was looking for in my first Subaru. Then my friend presented me with what Kerri and she had come up with. She also spoke about how terrific Kerri was during that process. I then worked with Kerri on finalizing the deal. After which I met Wendel Nelson at the dealership to purchase the vehicle. He was very patient in getting the papers signed, pointing out some of the options, sync'd up my smartphone to the audio system and made some recommendations. To sum it up, within 24 hours I was driving my new Forester home and Wendel was going to head to a Mercer game. If I had to do it again, I would start the car buying process at Jackson and skip the other guys.

I was looking for a particular car, a Smart Brabus edition. Quite a few out there for sale, but trying to find someone to deal with that was trustworthy was another story. Found the 2013 Smart Brabus I wanted on-line offered by Jackson Automotive Group. Looked up their reviews, and they were all excellent. I shot them an email and was contacted promptly by Jim Turner and Kerri Bell. After a few emails, a few phone conversations, and one call as Jim walked around the car while he answered my questions (without making me feel like I was wasting his time) I decided to get the car. So, I contacted my credit union and they cut a check. It was that easy. I made arrangements to fly up and drive home to Florida. When I arrived, the car was not only detailed (and I mean looked like NEW), but it was filled up with fuel for my journey home! It was a pleasure to meet Jim in person too. The dealership is located about 100-yards off I-75 which was my highway back home... It was just meant to me. Only 7-hours later the Smart was in my garage.Thanks to Jim and the crew at Jackson Automotive Group for their excellent customer service. It's nice to know there are still some old-school down home dealerships out there where they actually care about the customer and not just about taking your money. I highly recommend these folks without reservation - especially if they have the auto you're looking for.

When I began car shopping in the fall of 2014, I visited Jackson Automotive and met Jim Turner. He answered all my questions and explained many features I was unfamiliar with. In July after many months of looking and driving a number of different vehicles I returned to Jackson Automotive and Mr. Turner. He showed me the exact vehicle I had been looking for. Jim Turner was patient, friendly and courteous, he adapted his schedule to fit mine, but most of all he was knowledgeable. Love my Subaru!

The staff was amazing from the internet support staff to the sales person to the general manager. It was easy to decide the car I wanted and there was no haggling needed. I was given a very fair price from the start. The sales person, Tyler, pulled my vehicle into the showroom to go over all the features of the car. He also started the air conditioning in the car prior to the test drive while I waited comfortably in the building.

I recently purchased a car from Jackson Automotive Group, and from the beginning, it was worth the two hour drive to Macon. Kerri Bell was very nice and immediately responsive, both on the phone and via e-mail, with photos and related information. We scheduled a test drive for the next day with Randall Cope, who was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the car, which was ready for a drive as soon as we arrived. As we concluded our appointment, we had a pleasant conversation with Randall and David Morgan - also courteous, professional and friendly. We commented on what a nice experience we had as we left the dealership. Randalls follow-up was timely and appreciated, as he was readily available to answer additional questions. His patient, no-pressure approach made the experience worthwhile, especially when we arrived to purchase the car on a second visit. Randall was very considerate of our traveling distance from the dealership and worked with us to ensure a smooth transaction. Both Randall and Robert Lee were informative with additional details, and we purchased the car in a reasonably quick amount of time. A positive experience overall.

I went in to the dealer because Check engine and ABS lights were on the cruise control was not working. Turns out rodents had eaten some of the wiring. Bad news is that's not covered by the warranty. So they cut out the bad wires and spliced them back together. My car was in the shop less than an hour, which was pretty good timing. It then sat outside for 20 minutes waiting for the car wash guys which must have been real busy. It took the guy 20 minutes to wash the car and return it to the door. The bill was 172.50 which is 1.5 hours of work, at $115 per/hr. I assume the hours came from a service book because it didn't take that long. When my car was finished the cashier called me over and handed me my bill. I would have thought the service guy would have come over and explained the charges as a review. He did check me in and have me Sign for the work that had to be done so it was not a surprise how much it cost. In the end I think it time to get rid of my Subaru. Jackson Automotive is the only dealer within an hour and is just too pricy. Last oil change was just over $70 and because Subaru's use a special washer that has to be replaced each time ,cant take it any place else. Maybe the Volvo and Mercedes-Benz owners don't mind paying that much.

You will hear much these days about the "buying experience" at various dealershipss. I can say truthfully that out of 7 dealerships we contacted, looking both at Subaru Foresters and Honda CV-Rs, our interaction with Kerri and Subaru of Macon was the most pleasant of all. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always remained pleasant as we moved back and forth between a Subaru and a Honda. Most importantly to some, she gave us a great price-without any tricks-early in the process. This was my wife's turn for a new car; when it is mine, I will talk first to Kerri. One last comment for those living in Savannah, a 2 hour drive to Macon is not too far to go for such a significant upgrade in dealership quality.

Bought our 3rd vehicle from the folks at Jackson Automotive this past month, and my purchase experience was great. They didn't have the car in stock or in the surrounding area, so I had to order from the factory. Negotiated price, and trade-in value before they sent in the order. When my car arrived, I was pleasently surprised they lowered the price of the new car and gave me more than I asked for my trade. I was walked through the whole selection and purchasing process by Wendel Nelson. When I buy a car, I walk into a dealer knowing the vehicles in which I am interested; I read up on all the options, prices and specs. Nothing annoys me more than a sales person who doesn't know their product. This is what makes Wendel a cut above the rest. He can intelligently answer the most detailed questions about what he sells, and truly serves the customer. David Morgan also does a fine job answering any questions about the ordering process and financial end of things. I look forward to buying my next cars from Wendel, David and this dealer.

I visited Jackson Automotive to get a quote on a new car. I was given an excellent price within minutes and was not pressured to make the purchase at that time. I came back a week later to buy a car but there wasn't one available configured the way I wanted it. They placed an order and it had to be for the newest model year and they honored the original deal we had worked up. I was kept informed along the way of the progress and the car arrived early. When I arrived to pick the car up it was ready to go and all the paperwork was ready for me to sign. I'm not sure what else they could have done to make the process any easier. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

I had planned to wait 4-5 years before I purchased a new car; however, my 11-year old car had other plans. After several weeks of research, I made the decision to give Subaru a chance - my family had always been loyal to another car maker for the past 60+ years. After visiting a couple of dealerships, I choose Subaru of Macon. I did not feel pressure to buy - I was able to look at cars without anyone hovering and making suggestions. When I was ready for information, I was introduced to Jim Turner. I told Jim that I only was interested in a BASIC Forester - I did not need "bells & whistles." He said no problem. Before we test drove a car, Jim introduced to the service dept. I think it is VERY important for the car owner to know what goes on when his/her car is serviced. No other dealership has ever volunteered to show me the service dept. I have always had to ask to see it and meet the people. We discussed my options within my budget. During the entire process, I never felt pressure to upgrade or to add accessories - never felt pressure to spend more money. To get me the car I wanted, Jim worked with the dealership in Valdosta so that I did not have to wait for one from the factory. I am pleased with my experience at Subaru of Macon. Jim works to please his customers. I hope drive my Subaru for the next 20 years!

We are really enjoying our Mercedes Benz E350 4matic. It is really a cut above our previous German and Japanese sports sedans and cabriolets. Even the MB. It was a long, and sometimes circular, search to find the right sedan for two serious car people. We are very glad our search is over and the outcome was just great. We really appreciate Randall and Davids help! As always the customer experience was great and very professional. Randall did a superb job of representing the MB Brand, explaining all the features and options of the E Class and helping us find the right car. He did a thorough job of bringing us up to date on the CPO program and explaining mbrace as well. The test drives were fun and educational. A really great sales experience! Robert Lee did a very quick and well organized job on the paperwork explaining everything very clearly as we went through. Best ever. Anissa did a real hat trick finding the needed accessories at other dealerships and having them delivered and installed over night. The internet sales folks were also very helpful during our search providing a lot of useful information.. A Great Job by All! Thank you!

Kerri Bell reassured me over the phone that they would make me a deal on our Smart Car once we got there if we put a $500 deposit on the car. However once we got there they wouldn't lower the price and wouldn't work with us on the monthly payment. Tee kept saying that Scott would work with us on the monthly payment but never followed through on actually working with us. The last straw was when an employee ridiculed us for towing the car home even though we had no other way of getting it home. So yes we got the car we wanted but we won't return to Jackson.

I had been looking for Volvo C30's for about a month when I noticed they got one in at Jackson Automotive. It said on their website to "ask for Internet price" which I was a little leery of. But I'm glad I did! Kerri Bell emailed me back quickly with the "internet price", and we communicated for several days. She always responded quickly to whatever questions I had or information I requested. I went in for a test drive with Wendel Nelson. He was very knowledgeable about this vehicle and Volvos in general. He took the time to show me all the features and even hooked up my phone's Bluetooth with the car so I would be connected hands-free from the moment I left. Robert Lee was quick in getting all the paperwork together. Even after negotiations are done, Wendel is happy to help me with whatever questions I might have about the car. Jackson Automotive is a good group to do business with!

Great car buying experience. Have purchased 3 vehicles so far from Jackson Automotive. I always dreaded purchasing cars from dealers. Always felt I was getting cheated. Hated the high pressure tactics. But there was no pressure. Just straight forward, honest dealing. Went back several times to test drive various autos before deciding on our Outback. Wendel Nelson was friendly and helpful. Allowing us to purchase on our own time with no pressue. He has now helped us with one new Outback, a used Honda van and a great, very low milage used Volvo. Anytime we need a vehicle we just call Wendel and he finds just what we need. Now instead of dreading auto shopping we look forward working with Wendel and getting just what we need at a reasonable price.

When driving from Madison to Macon I was delayed by traffic and arrived around 6 PM. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Wendel Nelson who I chatted with earlier in the day.We test drove the car, Wendel was excellent about describing the features, accessories and there operations. After we reached an agreement on price, signing documents etc. We then spent the next forty-five minutes loading my phone information and going over the cars systems. Long story short, I did not depart until close to 8 PM. We waited a year while looking, for our son to get his license. During this time, Randall checked in, but was very low key. After test driving what seemed like every MB on the lot, I felt most comfortable with the ML and Randall ordered the one I wanted. The Parts and Service Depts. were very friendly and surprisingly, affordable for the few extra features I added. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Jackson Auto and will be happy to buy there, again. Since my husband keeps borrowing my car, I think it will be sooner, rather than later.

It started when I requested an E-Price and spoke to Kerri Bell who answered my questions and invited me to the dealership. When I arrived, the receptionist introduced me to David Morgan. After explaining my needs and previous conversations he introduced to Robert Miller.Robert took me on a test drive of the Forester explaining the features and benefits and answering all my questions. Back in his office we discussed the purchase details and after agreement he had the Forester prepared for delivery. He then took me on a tour of the dealership informing me of the amenities then introduced me to Mark Horton in service who explained the benefits and conveniences provided.I was next introduced to Robert Lee who guided me through the purchase paperwork.Throughout the entire process I felt no pressure and very comfortable. Robert Miller is awesome to work with and a great asset to the dealership. Everyone I met and worked with made this an excellent experience. Thank you all very much.

I've purchased 3 vehicles in just 6 years (due to various outside of the continental US military orders), and this dealership and its employees was the best car buying experience to date. (I actually travelled from Virginia to work specifically with this dealership.) From exchanging emails/phone calls with Kerri, to figuring out what exactly was in my budget with Wendel, this experience was very smooth, no pressure, and highly customized. The negotiating process felt sincere, and my concerns were taken into all considerations. Wendel was very attuned to what I was communicating to him, and I could tell he wanted to do business with me. For instance, I had to drive back up to Virginia the next day, and he took the initiative to work out certain additional work with a dealership closer to me. Hard to believe but you purchase a new vehicle for a 11 pound dog, but she is family and weneeded a more comfortable vehicle for taking trips and fit in her travel carrier and otherthings. We spent the weekend looking at another vehicle and just left the dealership because it was like no one wanted to listen and we wasted a lot of time. We chose Jackson Automotive when looking for a Subaru dealership because even though it was not located directly in our area, it was an easy drive and because of the rating of Subaru's we felt like we would not be traveling to the dealership very much. We were introduced to Mr. Robert Miller by Ms. Kerri Bell and wow, were we excited. He listened to our needs and then completed a short drive around the area and returned to the showroom. We again went over thoughts on a unit in the showroom. He left to work on the pricing and came back several minutes later with the completed paperwork. No several trips back and forth to the finance department. He hit a home run his first time at bat. While waiting for the final paperwork to be completed we toured the dealership and was impressed by the cleanliness and the hospitality of the employees we met. Upon return we finished the paperwork in a few minutes and then transferred all the odds and ends we had in our sedan to the Forester, then shook hands and left to have an early dinner at a restaurant Mr. Miller recommended. All in all we feel the experience was five star+ and would recommend Mr. Miller to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from the Jackson Motor Group. They know the true meaning of great customer service. They are the "Nordstom" of car dealerships.

This is my first time buying a car. I had done my research on the car I wanted, and Jackson Automotive had the car. I submitted an Internet inquiry on a Thursday night, and I was contacted by their Internet sales person the next day. She was able to schedule a test drive for that Saturday, and the test drive was a great experience. My salesperson throughout the entire process from the test drive to final purchase was Keenan Parrish. He was probably the best choice for me. He was friendly and easy to work with during the test drive and the sales process. He was able to inform me and was there at anytime to help with any and all questions I had about the process. Jackson Automotive was friendly and helpful throughout the sales process the next Saturday, and they even let me drive the car off the showroom floor. A great experience all around.

I have always dreaded the car shopping experience because It always felt as if I was going into battle. This time around was a very pleasant surprise. It was actually easy. The sales person(Keenan Parrish) listened to what I wanted, and while they did not have that exact model in stock, the sales group (David Morgan) called around for hours looking for my exact match and they delivered. Now that's TRUE customer service which is very rare in this day and time. I am excited about my new purchase and will definitely tell everyone about my positive experience.

I went in for an oil change for my 2005 Subaru Forester. I had been thinking of upgrading to a newer car so I inquired about the trade-in value of my car. The value came back a little lower than I had expected so I asked for the justification and I was given a thorough explanation. I was ready to leave it at that, but Dave went back and was able to increase the value of the trade-in as well as lower the price of the Legacy I was looking at. Everyone I worked with was very easy going with no pressure tactics at all. They took the time to make sure I had all the info I needed to make a good decision. It was a very smooth and easy process!

I was very weary of buying from a dealer. I'm not a fan of car salesmen -- they usually make me want to run for the hills. I like that several dealerships around here are using a more laid back approach, and I did like some of the other sales people at other dealerships, but the Subaru Impreza was the right car for me and Keenan didn't scare me off, patient when I wanted to drive several different cars, and was very helpful, so I bought from him. He's been very helpful since the sale as well.

I live just south of Atlanta so Jackson Group is an hour and a half from me. I had looked to buy a Forester from another dealer but found the sales person there difficult to work with. So I called Jackson Group and spoke with Kerri Bell who was extremely helpful over the phone. I then drove to the dealership and worked with Robert Miller who was very cooperative, friendly and helpful. It took a total of 3 hours from when I arrived to when I drove away in my new Forester. That time included picking which Forester I wanted, doing the trade in of my Highlander and having Robert go over all the features of my Forester with me before I left. This is a very easy and friendly group of people to work with.

We were very impressed with the service provided by Wendel Nelson at Jackson Auto in Macon. He was very friendly and sincere in his treatment of us, and very knowledgeable about the models we were interested in. We looked at the Subaru Forrester Unlimited and the Forrester Touring models and purchased the Forrester Touring because we liked the additional features of this model. Wendel patiently went over all these features with us, and after our purchase he sat in the car with us explaining how everything worked before we took it out on the road. This SUV is amazing, with backup camera, GPS, Satellite radio, phone service, lane change warning, and many other technical abilities but, because of Wendel's careful tutoring, we have had no problems and love our new Forrester more every day. My wife and I had been discussing trading in our F250 Powerstroke for a more fuel efficient vehicle. I travel a good bit for work and also needed the capabilities of a truck. Honestly, I did not see us trading it in until we drove the Outback. Robert Miller showed us several different Subaru models (Outbacks and Foresters) and was very patient throughout the entire process (we looked at four different vehicles that day). I am very impressed with the Outback we selected. Robert was integral in this process. He made us feel comfortable and worked with us to come to an agreement. One of his points was the low APR...a major selling point. After we had made our selection, Robert explained the process of how and when we schedule a visit to have it serviced. He also walked us through the entire service department to show us where servicing takes place. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the entire process at Jackson Automotive and Robert Miller's professionalism. I highly recommend seeking out Robert's expertise and this dealership if looking for a new vehicle.

Although buying a car is a formidable experience, my recent trip to this dealer was comfortable and pleasant. My salesman, Wendell, was knowledgeable, extremely courteous and showed me a car near my price range, which I test drove. Driving this Crossover was new to me --because of the make and quality, and because I hadn't driven anything but a sedan before. Wasn't sure if I would fit in it(because of my short stature), but it was so smooth, quiet, and easy to drive--I loved it. I told Wendell that I'd think about it, and come back on Saturday (3 days later). I then continued searching. Other cars were nice, too, but one was too big, one was great, though smaller, another was the same type, but newer and more expensive, one had a sales manager that I walked out on. This was day 2, and then I went home and considered everything. When day 3 came, I called Wendell to see if I could take the car home for a day. I wanted to make sure it fit in my parking space, etc. When I went to return it, planning my next stop, I told him I really liked it, but....When the price came down a bit, I said let's do it. I am so happy with my new car--it is a joy to drive again! It was a great experience all around. You expect a sales person to be knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous, but when they are genuine as well in what they say and do, they are super. This was my experience with Wendell Nelson at this Volvo dealer in Macon, GA.

Keenan Parrish was very helpful to me when I visited Jackson, looking for a safe, reliable, and comfortable SUV style vehicle that would have easy access due to occasional physical limitations/difficuty [thanks to RA]. Also, my husband and I often travel with another couple, so a comfortable back seat with good leg-room and a sufficiently large luggage/cargo area were also "need-to-have" check points. After providing me the needed information and looking at both the Forrester and Outback Subaru models, I drove the Outback and experienced for myself its comfort and ease of handling. Keenan is most knowledgeable of the capabilities and features on the Subaru, and was very helpful to me as I had no previous experience with the computerized features and systems equipped on most of the vehicles today. Being of "a certain age", these changes do not come naturally or intuitively, and Keenan was most generous in thoroughly answering my questions to assist my becoming familiar and comfortable with these modern conviences of driving; he has even volunteered for another "help session" as needed at my convience to clarify anything after I've had time to become more familiar with my Outback. I'm sure I'm going to love my SUV thanks to him.

Our experience is very hard to describe. When we arrived at Jackson, we had already visited several dealerships and still had no idea what type of vehicle we wanted. The last vehicle we owned, a 2002 Tahoe, was purchased brand new and had just recently kicked the bucket. We were very nervous pulling into Jackson Automotive because we had heard numerous stories concerning the high cost associated with owning a Mercedes. After a few minutes of looking at the cars, Robert approached us and he immediately made us feel at home. Once we sat down in the office with Robert to discuss details of the purchase, we were immediately asked what we were looking for in our new car. Robert answered all questions and addressed every concern. He even took us inside to meet the service manager to discuss any maintenance questions we had. Their willingness to accommodate our need is what impressed us so much. Customer Service has become a rarity lately and it is SO refreshing to see an organization who puts the customer back in front.. I DEFINITELY LOVING MY MERCEDES!

I was in total awe with the customer service I received at Jackson Automotive. Mike Apperson, Sales, was courteous at our first encounter. He walked the lot with me; and when I did not see anything I was interested in buying, he made certain that he listened and understood my needs and what I wanted in a vehicle [features]. He was very patient; and he maintained communication to where it was not annoying. When the perfect GLK 350 [2014] arrived on the lot, Mike contacted me and it was the one I actually bought. I enjoyed working with Mike because of his attentiveness, patience, courtesy, and professionalism. Mike was on point when he found the right SUV for me; and that was all because of his concern for my interest. Robert Lee, Management, and Scott Chambers, General Service Manager, were both great to work with as well. Mike greeted my wife and I as soon as we arrived and asked how he could help. I told him I would like to check out a Legacy, Forester, and Outback and that I was interested in safety features, visibility, fuel economy, and ease of access. We test drove the Legacy first because I wanted to start with the sedan before the SUV and wagon.I was impressed with the Legacy but had some access issues. Mike helped us eliminate the Forester from consideration.because it did not come with blind spot monitoring. The Outback had all the features I wanted and more. We drove it and I was sold. Mike and Scott worked to get me the deal I wanted. Mike stayed after hours to explain all the benefits of Jackson Automotive Group and the features of the Outback. He was very cordial, asked what vehicle we were interested in then he asked "what exterior color". I thought this is a person who is very interested in what I want not just to sale "a car", that impressed me. We had just left another dearlership and the salesperson brought the model car to test drive but never asked me what "color".Something else Mr. Turner did that was just as impressive and that was to introduce us to the service department, Ms. Annie. I realize that how the customer is treated after the sale--in the service department-- is just as important in customer retention and repeat business. This is the first time I had experienced this which really helped us decide on the purchase. The next morning we received a call from Mr. Turner inquiring about how we liked the car. When I first went to Jackson dealership I knew what car I wanted. Mr Al Lee and I sat down and went over the details, two to three weeks later Al Lee calls me up and asked me to come in and take a look at what had come in, so I did with no pressure at all. Mr. Al Lee not only answered all of my questions he also gave me a hands on demostration of all the car features. I thanked him and departed. I then went to other dealerships to compare my experience. Two days later I called Mr Al Lee, went in and bought the car. I was very pleased with the way he went about his business with such professionally,tackfullness,kindness and a positive attitude. I have no problem recommending Mr. Al Lee to my friends,family and complete strangers.

I had researched and knew I wanted a Suburu Outback. I had been to other dealers where I felt intimidated. Then after I looked a Jackson's website, I emailed back and forth with Kerri Bell for a couple of weeks about what I wanted. When I arrived, I was met cordially and made to feel that my wants and needs were paramount. I never had the feeling that the car salesmen were trying to "take advantage" of a female customer. Richard Lowry was very helpful in locating just what I wanted. I was given a fair price for my old car and am very happy with my Outback. It is a lot of car for the money. I knew I wanted a Sabaru but wasn't sure what model. I drove to Jackson Automobile Group and was immediately greeted by Michael Apperson. He introduced himself and asked how he might help me. I told him I wanted a Sabaru but wasn't sure which model would be right for me. He asked a little about what my driving needs were and what size I had thought about. We walked out on the lot and he pointed out the different models and gave me information about each. I liked the Crosstrek so Michael told me a little about it and suggested I drive it. Michael accompanied me on the drive. I liked the car and asked the price when we returned. He gave me a set of figures for buying or leasing. I told him I would be back in touch. He called me to verify a return appointment. I took a friend with me to help me decide about appropriate financing. Michael gave us the cost figures for what I wanted and then introduced us to Robert Lee, the Business Manager, to close the deal on paper. I met Michael later that afternoon, accompanied by my son, and Michael went over all the features of the car and how to use them. I was very pleased with Michael and the car and left feeling like I had been well served. Michael also introduced me to the service department manager and showed me how to access that area so that I would know where to go for maintenance. Michael urged me to call him if I had any additional questions about the vehicle.

My dealings with all the personnel were friendly and professional. Keenan did an excellent sales job. I did not rate the customer service or quality of work entries because they did not apply. Howerver, there was some damage to the car caused by the transport company. A piece of chrome trim will be replaced and there is some paint that will have to be touched up. (I am surprised that the chrome piece is back-ordered until December.) When these repairs are made I will rate the customer service and quality of work entries.So far, I can say that it was a pleasure dealing with the dealership and its employees, unlike some other recent dealerships I have had the displeasure of dealing with.I have absolutely no reservations about recommending the dealership to others.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle (Subaru Forester). Mike at Jackson Automotive was a very helpful, LOW-PRESSURE sales person. He clearly wanted to see that we left with the right car at a reasonable price. The entire team was incredibly friendly and respectful, and the deal that we worked out was fantastic. The day before Halloween my wife mentioned something about a Subaru and I replied "U R A BUS", not only because I'm the sharpest marble in the house, but also because Subaru spelled backwards is... Well you get the point.Later that day while I was trolling the Internet--in between bathroom breaks, lunch, nap and smoke breaks--I found myself checking out the mystical mpg of a Subaru Crosstrek. "It Can't Be! I must investigate." I said to myself. Fast forward a few minutes later and I find myself scouring the car lot in search of this gas sipping prince of automobiles, the "Crosstrek". They had a few in stock. I came back to work and diligently finished my nap then started researching Crosstreks. Edmunds said "...Subaru Crosstreks are cars unicorns would drive if unicorns didn't have wings." and Jarrett McManis of MotorTrend reported "Subaru's Crosstrek's driving experience was like driving a Chariot of the Gods--It made me weep with humility." Dang... Pretty good reviews.So Halloween day I find myself in awe and wandering the Jackson Automotive car lot, drunk with excitement. I get up enough nerve to walk into the dealership and humbly ask if I can test drive a Crosstrek. Weird, but every time I said the word Crosstrek I could hear angelic trumpets blow in the distance. "Nice effect" I say to the salesman as we shake hands. He looks at me kind of funny, apparently he's oblivious to the angel horns. As we greet each other I say my name and he says his, "I'm Kyle Horton, SELLER OF CARS, MAKER OF DREAMS". He announces his title in more of a Dungeons and Dragons Wizard kind of way. I thought he was pulling my leg until he gave me his business card and sure enough his title was on it. In large type, all caps: "SELLER OF CARS, MAKER OF DREAMS". I was impressed and a little cautious. I asked him if he went to college to get a title like that and he told me he was born into it-- similar to Game of Thrones I guess.I tell Kyle I'm interested in test driving a Crosstrek (queue the trumpets) and he goes to get an assortment of keys and we walk outside. We're walking towards the Desert Khaki version and I tell him I'm not too interested in that color. If memory serves me correctly I think I said something to the effect that the color reminds of baby vomit colored Play-Doh. We quickly detour over to the blue 2013 Crosstrek. We hop inside and we're off to adventures unknown within the two square mile area of Sheraton Drive and I-75. The test drive was ok. Well it was more like ~meh. Maybe the build up and excitement was too great, after all I was expecting to see God or at the very least wet my pants due to overwhelming awe & amazement. Unfortunately I was simply "whelmed". Before I had a chance to tell Kyle my thoughts of the ride, he lapsed into this clairvoyant mental state and predicted that "He could see that my love and adulation for the car was truly heaven sent and there was no need to discuss the details any further". Then he handed me a pen and told me to sign on the line next to the X.I told him it was a nice car and everything, but I would have to think about it. He laughed a villainous laugh, actually it was more like a cackle, and asked me "What are you a girl? Did you forget your purse?! What's wrong with you, can't make an immediate decision, right on the spot about something that will only affect your life for the next eight to ten years?! C'mon! Man up!" then he started hitting me. Once his sales manager noticed the commotion he ran over and started punching and kicking me too. I've been in high pressure sales situations before, but the site of first blood made me realize these guys are really committed to selling me a car! They truly want me to have a positive car buying experience. We were all tired out after the brawl. The sales manager had crawled back into his office, nursing his wounds. I was splayed out on the ceramic tile floor of the dealership, broken and bloody. Kyle was propped up against a desk still racked and reeling from roundhouse kick to the jaw I landed before I got knocked out.As I was coming back to consciousness, Kyle blurted out "Forester!" I looked over at him and he said it again, this time louder. "Forester!" but with his busted lip it sounded like "Bloris-duh". We got to our feet and he pointed to a Subaru Forester and said "Tes' Dwibe Bloris-duh". Ooh... You want me to test drive a Forester?! I gotcha. So we hobbled out to the lot and got in a 2015 Subaru Forester and took off. Dang! It was there! The mystical magical driving experience I was expecting from the Crosstrek was actually in the Forester! The test drive was like test driving a symphony of Cherubs albeit with: a lot more horsepower AND terrific gas mileage AND a huge sunroof AND Bluetooth!When we got back to the dealership, I was weeping and trembling with joy. Only an hour ago I thought I had lost my religion and lost my faith in Kyle's abilities because the Crosstrek didn't do it for me. But with Kyle's guidance, patience, product knowledge and his mad cage fighting skills he knew the Subaru Forester was the right fit for me!I now see the full-on beatdown was necessary to get me on my way to a positive buying experience!I drove into Jackson Automotive unsure, meek and a mild mannered man. I drove away from Jackson Automotive, in my new Forester, a battle-hardened warrior confident that my all-wheel drive car will forever drive me into victory!Thanks again to Kyle, Tee, Mark and Robert! Here's to our new brotherhood!

Great "NO HASSLE" Dealership then and now on our second Volvo XC60 from the same dealership. We loved the model/make/quality/durability and beauty of our previous Volvo XC60. We traded for the new 2014 and once again, Wendel was awesome in handling everything for us. Especially, since we live about 2 hours away. We communicated by phone/fax with the details and he gave us top trade in value for our previous car. Then, all we had to do was ride up and pick up! Awesome and professional group! Dealing with Jackson Automotive was a first class experience all the way. I had been car shopping for a couple of weeks and had spoken with, and exchanged emails with, 5 other Mercedes dealers. The level of service I experienced with Jackson Automotive was by far the best.My initial inquiry was handled by Kerri Bell. The car I asked about was sold but she listened to what I wanted and sent an email with links to some of their other Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. Kerri was about to leave for the day but she provided Mike Apperson with my information.My husband and I drove up from Valdosta and Mike Apperson was ready to work with us. Very positive and professional atmosphere. My wife and I had just visited another dealership, and left with such a negative feeling we almost went home. After a few minutes with Robert, we felt completely relaxed. Robert discussed the vehicle, choices and options with an understanding of someone that has owned the car for years. After purchasing the car, Robert set up the car's technology and explained all of the characteristics and special operations. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. I can see myself returning to Jackson Automotive Group in the future to buy another car.

I have an aversion to car salesmen and would rather have my teeth pulled without pain meds. Wendel is the exception! He is wonderful. No high pressure sales whatsoever. Came by in April and test drove the only Forester on the lot. Told him I hated the color and wasn't buying until July anyway. Wendell kept in touch with me in the following months but no pressure tactics. Popped back in near the end of July and was told a car that matched my wants was coming in shortly. Came back and test drove it but ultimately decided to order a custom built Subaru. Ten minutes of figuring out my options and the paperwork was done. Wendell drove two hours to bring me my new car. I LOVE my new Subaru!!!!!!!!This is my third Subaru, the first two being family hand-me downs. Wonderful cars with very few problems and great safety records.Spoke with Kerri in Internet sales several times during the months before I bought the car and she is the nicest, most helpful person. I could call and ask a question and no matter how off the wall it was, she would get me an answer.

We recently shopped for a small SUV. We did lots of research beforehand and narrowed it down to 4 cars (Honda, Mazda, and Toyota were the others). The first we test drove was the Forester. Jim was confident we would be back after driving the others. He didn't employ any high pressure tactics - the kind that make me avoid car dealerships. A few hours after we left, he followed up with some detailed answers to some of my questions, and we agreed to meet today for another test drive and to see if we could agree on a price. I test drove the car again, and Jim showed me how to work the bluetooth pairing with my iPhone. The one negative I saw on this car was this feature, but it worked great - very simple and effective, We went back to his desk and, after a little haggling, we agreed on a price.After the sale, Jim introduced me to several guys in the service department - then showed me all the little details about the car.I would definitely recommend Jackson Automotive, and Jim Turner, to anyone considering a Suburu, Mercedes, or Volvo.

My husband and I purchased a 2014 Mercedes GLK 350 in December, 2013. We had been accustomed to driving a larger sized SUV and although we liked the feel and drive of the GLK, we found the rear seat and cargo space did not meet our needs. Seven months after purchasing the GLK we went back to our sales associate, Randall Cope and purchased a 2014 ML 350. This was my first car purchase alone and I was quite uneasy and leery. I looked at many cars and test drove several. After much research both online and off, I narrowed it down to 3...2 of which were eliminated after the second test drive. Driving the 2015 Subaru Forester the second time convinced me that it was the car for me. I am very thankful that Robert Miller was the first sales consultant to approach me the very first time i visited the Jackson Automotive Group Dealership. He continued to help me during the other 3 visits I made. Robert was always courteous and professional and politely answered my many questions and i had many! Never once did I feel pushed or pressured. He helped me get to know the vehicle a bit better before driving it home, but suggested I drive it awhile before using some of the more elaborate technology it had. All in all, Robert made my first sole car-shopping and purchasing experience pleasant and satisfying.

Mr. Nelson made the entire experience easy, pressure-free and enjoyable. I looked around with other dealerships before coming to Jackson and felt suffocated by them. I was constantly given cars to look at that were out of my price range and fell below my other requirements. It was a completely different ball game with Mr. Nelson, though. He knew and understood exactly what I was looking for and didn't contact me until he found it. I didn't have to deal with the constant voicemails, texts and emails with Jackson, which made me feel like they had my best interests in mind. Everyone at Jackson went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and respected, especially Mr. Nelson. For example, he drove the car I ended up buying to my work to show me so I wouldn't have to drive out to Jackson and risk not finding anything. He's personable, passionate about finding what his customer wants and honest. Excellent service! I will definitely recommend Jackson and Mr. Nelson to friends and family. My daughter drives a Mercedes and has been bragging about the dealership and how well she is treated when she brings her car in for service. So, when I needed a bigger vehicle (my VW was just too small) I decided to check out Jackson. I was fortunate to meet Randall Cope as I looked over the inventory. I am 34 and newly single for the first time in my adult life. With that being said this is the first car I have ever purchased. My salesman Jim was very attentive to my needs and helped me pick out the perfect car. He wasn't the least bit pushy and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I am thrilled with my new Mercedes, confident I got a very fair deal on a fabulous car and never one time felt uncomfortable, taken advantage of or like I was being pushed to purchase anything. Once I made my decision I was provided a free carfax report and walked though the purchasing process one step at a time. Jim didn't leave any questions unanswered and by the end of the deal I felt like we had known each other for years. This dealership not only met my expectations they exceeded them and made it clear that they would be there for me for the life of my car not just the life of the sale. I needed a new car badly and knew I wanted a GLK 350. Met Robert Miller at the dealership and he was great to deal with. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally which is more than I could hope for. I have no doubt that we made the right choice of vehicle and dealership.Robert gave me some great advice as i drove out. There is a lot of functionality inside that dashboard. Robert showed me a good bit of it and I worried I could even remember a part of it. He told me 'just drive the car for 2 weeks and don't worry about how any of it works'! Recently I called Wendel Nelson, who sold my wife and I a Subaru B9 Tribeca, in search of a fun car for my 124 mile/day commute to work. Without hesitation, Wendel had a recommendation and asked that I come take a look and I knew enough about Wendel that when he said come down, it was going to be worth the trip. Upon arriving, Wendel greeted me with a smile and a handshake and immediately showed me the car, a 2005 Mercedes SLK350. The test drive was much more than a testing of the cars handling, acceleration and beauty, but a complete run down on the creature features, safety features and what I was to expect as this would be my first Mercedes. Back at the dealership, no hassles, no pressure, just simple conversation on my thoughts and feelings of the car and I left that evening with all paperwork I needed to make the decision to purchase. The following morning I texted Wendel to let him know I was on my way, a 35 minute drive, and that I would purchase the car. When I arrived there was no waiting, nothing had changed from the night before and I was out of the dealership with full knowledge of the car, a face slathered in sunscreen and the top down within 45 minutes. Folks, this is service plain and simple. This dealership has exceptional service and Wendel is out and out by far the best salesperson I have ever dealt with on anything I have bought.

I bought my wife's first Mercedes 8 years ago from Wendel. 120,000 carefree, luxurious miles later we bought another (with 2 Subarus for kids in between.) We have been taken care of the whole way luxuriously, but surprisingly, no more expensively than other brands. Wendel is extremely knowledgable about the brands, and is trustworthy. Over the years he has become a friend (how many car salesmen would you invite to your Superbowl parties?) We love the luxury of the Mercedes, but as a parent there is absolutely no better safety/value/ and cool factor car than a Subaru. Many of their models are considered wagons, but look like SUV (HUGE difference in insurance for a teenager ( or anyone really) SUV vs WAGON, as well as a 4 cylinder boxer engine vs less efficient/powerful 6 cylinder or 8). Plus they are all time 4 wheel drive for safety and versatility. Jackson Automotive group is awesome, and they are lucky to have longtime employees like Wendel. Thanks again!

I have been contacting Wendel on-line for 2 years, I was looking for a totally different vehicle. I wanted to upgrade my SLK 280 to a 350.I had a few doubts about getting the same vehicle but needed to get something that would knock my socks off. I live over a 100 miles one way & we have a local Mercedes Dealer but I have had problems with the local Dealers, Meeting Wendel in person was an unexpected experience. We had e-mailed texted & spoke on the phone, Then I finally went to Maco,My Husband and I both felt like we had known him all our lives. He was informative about his Dealership & all the different types of vehicles on the lot. he remembered what we had discussed in the past 2 years. it was like running into an old friend. We were on our way to test drive a car & my Husband & myself walked past the 2015 Volvo XC60. We hadn't even considered a Volvo. We took it for a test. That was it. It knocked our socks off. We had to have it. The deal was quick, painless. pleased with the value of our trade. Walked away with a new car, friend & dealership. what a day.********here is one thing I didn't tell Wendel. We went to look at the Toyota Tacomas, We had looked on line & that was what we decided to look at first. They didn't have any of the stock they said they had on-line. I didn't want anything from that dealer I felt dupped. I had driven 2.5 hrs and they didn't have anything we went to look at. I had told my Husband I wanted to check out Jackson dealership if we had time. We were test driving the only Tacoma on the Toyota lot not at all anything I would want to drive everyday with 4 wheel drive...when we both spotted Jackson Mercedes, we took the saleslady back & dropped the truck back in its spot & went down the street to meet Wendel. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Thank goodness for that test drive. We will go back to see Wendel.

I recently had the pleasure of buying a Mercedes from the friendly folks at Jackson Automotive in Macon, GA. I highly recommend this dealership. I was willing to drive almost 5 hours from Florida to get there and the long drive was well worth it! Their entire staff are knowledgeable, highly motivated to deliver the highest possible customer service possible and I feel are committed to (me), their customer after the sale. I say this because, I have called twice since I returned to Florida and received prompt, friendly assistance with my questions.The day I purchased my Mercedes, Robert Miller took almost thirty minutes going into detail about the features in my vehicle, explaining them to me and setting them up for me. He programmed my home address into my navigation system, paired my iPhone, set my seat and mirrors, set my lights and wipers on auto and showed me how to use the hands free and voice operated features. To be honest, I still havent figured out how to use half of the features that this magnificent vehicle has but I sure am having fun learning!But that wasnt all I located the Mercedes that I purchased on the Internet and when I called and wanted to purchase it, they had it listed at another price but honored the Internet price. I felt this was truly the mark of an honest business and I only wish this dealership were located in my hometown and not so far away! I highly recommend these folks and their dealership and give them a perfect 5 stars! I will also be sure to purchase my next Mercedes from them, too!

We started our search for a car online. Kerri responded in a timely manner and invited us to come for a test drive. When we arrived, we were directed to her desk and she introduced us to Randall. We were dreading the stress of the process at the dealership. We were pleasantly surprised....Randall was professional yet very personable. Randall was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process - we bought our first Subaru!!! The overall experience was great and we left feeling like we had bought a great car at a reasonable price. We have already recommended Jackson Motors to a friend that may be looking in the near future!!!

When I arrived for my appointment at the dealership, the car (about which there had been earlier conversation) was parked very prominently curbside in front of the dealership. What a nice touch! Wendell Nelson, my salesman, arrived promptly and greeted me with such enthusiasm and friendliness, which was an initial demonstration of his professional, as well as his personal approach, throughout the entire transaction. Although I was purchasing a pre-owned car at a sales price that was significantly less than a new one in the dealership, I was treated by all personnel with the same consideration and value as if I were buying a much more expensive car. Randall Cope gave us the best service we have ever gotten when purchasing a new vehicle. He explained the operation of the total vehicle and followed up with a courtesy call which has never happened either. He was very thorough with every aspect of the vehicle! In March of 2014, I was just looking for a Subaru. I didn't drive one due to shoulder problems. Mr. Miller didn't was understanding. I had surgery in April, so it was a while before I could come back, but still had his card. I went back on May 6. Mr. Miller and I drove a Forester and an Outback. I knew immediately I wanted the Forester. As I was driving Mr. Miller and I were talking about the good things about the SUV. We made the financial deal. The SUV came from Atlanta and I picked it up on May 8. It was clean, tank full of gas. Before I drove off, Mr. Miller set my Bluetooth up, and explained over again some of the features. The whole time I dealt with Mr. Miller, he was very courteous and very professional.

Met Wendel while passing through Macon about 4 years ago. Stopped in from time to time and talked with him. When I dedided to purchase my CPO Mercedes about 2 weeks ago, he handled most info over the phone. This helped a lot since I just had enough time to stop by on my way to board a cruise ship at Port Canaveral. It would not have been easy otherwise. I haven't had any actual service as yet, but a Schedule B maintenance was erranatly not performed near the purchase date, and they readily told me to bring it in and they would take care of it. So far, I am impressed.

What can I say about Wendel Nelson...? Wendel exceeded our expectations in more ways than we could have ever hoped for...not just with the sale of the latest addition to our MB family (2014 ML350) but with the S550 we purchased last summer. His efforts to ensure our satisfaction was, in my opinion, above and beyond. Not only did he make sure that we were educated on all the features, but regularly communicates to make sure we are still happy with our purchases. I always receive excellent service at Jackson Automotive. They are prompt and do thorough work. They told me on this visit when I could expect to be needing new tires and brakes without pressuring me to get these things before it was necessary. They also discovered a problem and told me when and how I would need to have it fixed. I really appreciate their professionalism and helpfulness.

I didn't purchase my Volvo from Jackson, went to ATL. I have always had it serviced there though and each experience with the service manager and service staff have been satisfying. If the sales staff and buying experience is comparable to the service then when I buy again I plan to buy from Jackson. the only reason I didn't rate the CS 5 stars is because the complimentary car was and vacuum is poor, more than twice is was not satisfied.

Stopped by the Dealership just to look around and took a test drive. Purchased a certified used 2010 E350 because of the outstanding condition of the car, and the outstanding Sales Staff. Purchased the car at a good price, great trade-in value on our car, finance dept was quick, effective and provided a great interest rate. 1st class organization in every respect so far. Just purchased a 2011 Mercedes C300 that I initially found on their website. From the Internet Sales representative, to the actual Sales rep who assisted my wife onsite with a test drive while I was traveling on business, everyone from Jackson Automotive was very helpful and offered the full measure of service. The dealership Fedex'd all the paperwork to me in Los Angeles late on Friday afternoon. I received and signed the forms and returned them in the included Fedex envelope on Saturday afternoon. The paperwork was received back at the dealership on Monday, and the vehicle was delivered to my doorstep in suburb in northeast Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon. For what more could a person ask? I'm very satisfied!

Wendel was awesome. My wife and I were looking for a new vehicle and were really interested in the new Volvo S60's. We pestered Wendel for 6 MONTHS while looking, taking 4 or 5 test drives, asking tons of questions and randomly popping into the dealership.
