I was sent to James Wood collision repair department by my insurance provider they did a good job until I had the oil changed and the technician pointed out the damaged that was caused by the accident so I called my agent he instructed me too call the estimator. He said they would reopen the file and fix the problem. I did, as he instructed and everything went down hill from there. They told me that this was not broken it was worn out. It was fine before the accident. If they would fix it the other insurance company would pay the difference. Three people from James Wood collision department told me I didn't know what I was talking about.

This was Our first time to deal with James Woods Motors and the first time I have ever shopped online. I'm a little Old Fashioned and was highly skeptical. I never dreamed I would have such a pleasant experience. Everyone there is very pleasant to work with. Karen was a Big surprise. Her personality and poise speak for themselves but she really knows her cars. I couldn't ask a question that she not only had an answer for but the correct answer as well. A rodent had began to build a nest in my in cabin air filter and your staff was on their A he and found it, cleaned it out and replaced the filter. The Receptionist, apologize I dont recall her name Courteous, friendly and checked on me several times to ensure I was comfortable as I waited to speak with Cecil Lemond. I was shown an an air conditioner filter from my truck that needed to be replaced. The leafs in the filter were Hackberry. I manage a tree farm so I know my leafs. I am no where near any Hackberry trees. I wondered if the filter was ever changed when I bought it in July as a pre-owned.

Zack helped me in the service department. The things that were wrong with my truck after bringing in 3 times were finally fixed. I had been told before they couldn't find anything wrong. The moment we drove in, I noticed that there were not a bunch of people outside, wanting to hassle you the minute you stepped out of your vehicle. I liked the fact that we told them who we were there to see and no other guys came up trying to bother us about looking at cars. It was no hassle, no stress and that I was I liked about the whole think. Karen Daugherty is Excellent!! I would recommend her to anyone. She made the car buying experience wonderful! I found my new vehicle by using the dealership's website. I sent in an inquiry and received a quick response from Sherry Horner. She did an excellent job of answering all my questions and we set up an appointment to visit and drive a couple of the vehicles that I was interested in. I was amazed at the size of the dealership and the amount of inventory available. The dealership was well organized, clean and friendly. Sherry took good care of us the entire time. Once we selected our vehicle, the buying process went smoothly. The pricing was well explained and the lowest in the area for what I wanted. I also added a few other options such as assist steps, spray-in bed liner and exhaust tip. Because the spray-in bed liner machine broke at the dealership, Sherry arranged to have the truck sent to an alternate source to get that done. We were able to pick up our new vehicle in a couple days. Everything was in order and ready when we arrived. I was very pleased with everything about my purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a new vehicle.

I received an intriguing call from Tracy and went in to visit with Dane Shelton, my JW salesman. He showed me a 2016 Enclave, evaluated my 2012 and then we talked about buying or leasing the 2016. I decided to lease because otherwise I could not afford to trade. I hope I made a good decision as I have never leased before but I trust James Wood. I took delivery on Friday. It was difficult as the '12 was bought by my sweetheart for me at James Wood and there was a deep affection for that car. (My Sweetheart passed away in January, 2015) Over the weekend I questioned my decision very much and shed a lot of tears. Monday morning I called and spoke to Rusty. He assured me James Wood would do anything and everything necessary for me to be happy, even to putting me back into my 2012. Dane called as well, very concerned about my happiness and satisfaction. I asked him for time enough to talk with my brother which I did. My brother thought I should keep the '16 as it is a good deal and a new car. So I called Dane and told him I would like to keep the deal. I love the commitment to my satisfaction and the understanding I received from both these gentle men of my loss and wanting to 'hang on' to everything Troy. I am completely o.k. with my new car, nothing but an Enclave for me! and will be back to James Wood, God willing, in 39 months. The business practice and caring of the staff for the customer is 110% above anything ever! Let me add, at no time was there any pressure or heavy-handed salesmanship displayed by Dane or Rusty. They conveyed a caring and tenderness for my sadness. Their ethics are beyond reproach. Thanks to them both from the bottom of my heart. And I look forward to enjoying many miles in my new Enclave!

All in all it was a nice experience. I was contacted by a service rep about my need to have the Trans/oil and filter changed. He worked with me to set up an appointment that worked for me. If I had to find a fault it would be with the price; but not really all that upset as I know it is the Allison Transmission and probably much more involved than a normal transmission oil change. The only sour note would be that IF they washed the truck I could not tell it.

The dealership is very clean and well kept. However, the service is subpar. The sales team refused to recognize customer needs and were unwilling to accommodate. Had a scheduled appointment to view a vehicle and had to leave work early in order to make the appointment only to find out upon arrival that the vehicle I wanted to purchase had not arrived. No call to let me know and basically no recollection of the appointment at all. The aura reeked of arrogance.

In 14 years of having my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 serviced at your dealership, there is only one service event I would have liked to have been a little different. It would have been nice to have had the oil pump reconditioned/replaced while it was having the required seals replaced to repair oil leaks at about 250,000 miles. This is the only time I can say that I would have liked for my service adviser to have been a little more proactive towards preventive maintenance.

We made a 2 hour drive to your dealership hoping it would be the first and only stop in our search for a new vehicle. Our sales woman Sharron went above and beyond. I was having oil change on 2014 Enclave. I was told that I had 4 free oil changes in first 25000 miles. I tried to get in 2 weeks ago, but was told I was 15 in line. Car had 25600 miles after vacation trip so I was charged for oil change. This doesn't seem to be fair, but I do understand that 25K limit.

I was concerned about driving my pickup to the dealership and spoke with Paul Johnson regarding same. He gave me advice and I was relieved by his knowledge and assurances. When I arrived my pickup went to the service area to be diagnosed and an estimate given. I cannot say how much I appreciated being updated when there was a glitch which caused the repair to take longer than expected. The very caring demeanor of Paul when he arranged for me to be taken to eat lunch and be picked up was appreciated. Just very pleased with James Wood dealership's business practices. The waiting area was very well light and pleasantly cooled. Coffee and donuts were available. On 10 Jun our old Silverado broke down 20 miles NW of Decatur. I texted my daughter, who works at a Chevy dealership in Crestview, FL. She then called us back a few minutes later with Cecil's name and phone number, however she also called Cecil and talked with him. He called my cell phone asked me where we were broken down. He sent a tow truck to pickup our truck and our pull RV. In the meantime Danny called me and said he would be helping us. Also to let him know if the wrecker did not show within 20 minutes. The wrecker company was nice enough to put our RV in their yard with electricity and water. They then took us on to your dealership. Danny was waiting outside for us! We walked inside and Cecil introduced himself. He told the us dealership would take care of everything. Service came over told us what was wrong with my truck. We told Danny we were just going to purchase a new truck. Danny took us around the yard showed us trucks. He knew we were on our way to CO from FL. Beau also helped. Between Danny and Beau they helped us decide what truck to purchase and gave us a great deal. Never in my life have I come across such excellent fabulous exceptional customer service. From the phone calls between my daughter and Cecil to Danny and Beau caring enough to get us through this trying time. Even your car rental and Service personnel. My wife and I do not have enough words to express how we feel. After we purchased our truck the next morning my wife was so grateful she hugged Danny and started crying. Danny called us on our way to CO just to make sure we were pleased with our purchase, and we are. My wife is telling everyone she meets about your dealership. Again, kudos to your dealership for making our stressful experience less stressful.

Randy Stroble was fantastic to work with and extremely patient with us as we finalized our decision between the High Country and the Denali. We also had some desires for certain wheel package and rear seat video which could not be satisfied with inventory on the lot. Randy found the vehicle we wanted and caused a wheel change with another vehicle in order to provide exactly what we were looking for in our new Denali HD. I very much liked the dealerships willingness to allow us to shop and make a decision and to then work out the logistics around delivery while we were away from the dealership. It was nice to return the very next day to an efficient delivery with quick paperwork and transaction; allowing for time to review the technology of the vehicle with Randy. I had a tire checked. I think it was the same tire that I had replaced a few months ago at James Wood. The dealership said the tire was not on the rim correctly. The cost was minimal ($14), but I wondered if it should have been covered, since James Wood installed it. I could be wrong and everyone was very nice, too. Thanks for your help.

In April 2014 I initiated an order for a 2015 Corvette Z06 coupe at James Wood. I finally took delivery of the car on March 7, 2015. The bad North Texas weather and some bad luck with delivery damage caused some of the delivery delay (none of which was the fault of dealership personnel). The dealership was very kind to give me a "loaner" vehicle to drive during this final delay while they repaired the delivery damage.

We were met immediately when we pulled into the Service Department. We were directed to a very nice waiting room. Our oil was changed in a timely fashion and returned to us. We were very pleased. We tried taking our car to the James Wood in Denton, but they are just not as good as you are. You are worth the drive from Denton to Decatur!

My vehicle had to remain at the dealership for several days due to the severity of the repairs. Mike kept me informed at least every other day of its status and its expected day of completion. Also when I went to pay for it I discovered that my debit card had a $1500 daily limit, the repairs came to roughly $2,800. Since I had a family member drop me off at the dealership I was now stranded. The ladies at the cashiers desk had a courtesy driver take me to the bank so that I could get cash to pay the repairs. Everyone did a great job of taking care of me!

I came in for an oil change and was greeted outside upon arrival by one of your service techs and my truck was taken to the back for service. In approx. one hr my service was completed even with a packed customer area. The customer area was stocked with coffee, dounuts and was spotlessly clean. The entire time there feels comfortable. We are greeted with professional friendliness, explanations are complete, surroundings are clean and well maintained. I went in from Ft Worth to get my trucks oil changed at around noon. I was met immediately as I drove in the service door. I told the service person I wanted my oil changed. About one hour later I drove out with my tires rotated, greased, windshield fluid filled and cleaned. I highly recommend James Wood Motors for sales as well as service after the sale. I had a question about a a particular system of the vehicle - he took it on himself to have that system looked at and then shared information about the system that has helped me use it more efficiently.

My only complaint is that I was told it would take about ab hour and it was much closer to two (2) hours. That is not really the norm at James Wood service, but this service was foe a recall problem so there were alot of us there.

All went well on this visit. I can't say the same of my previous visit in our older Tahoe for an oil change. Black greasy spot on the back of the drivers seat and also on the drivers side carpet. It is a 10 year Tahoe though and I guess the technicians do not take as much pain with the older vehicles.

2010 Camaro was brought to dealership for a recall as I had been notified by the Parts department that the recall part was in. Upon arrival, (after driving from Haslet), was told that I had the option to "opt" out of the recall which was never "presented" while talking to service during the scheduling process. After "opting out" of recall I decided to drop the vehicle off due to rattling "A" pillar panel clips to make trip to dealer worthwhile. (vehicle was brought in for the same issue 2+ years prior to James Woods, but it wasn't fixed correctly per the TSB). Rattling appears to have been remedied this time.

As soon as we walked into the Service Dept. we were treated like we were the only customers they had. Our truck was fixed with in 24 hours. They gave us a GREAT vehicle to drive while our was being repaired. Well worth the drive from Mansfield to Decatur.

Our experience was great!! If we rated on a scale from 1-10 it would be beyond 10. Our salesman, David West, especially was great and deserves many praises. He was easy to deal with, made my family feel comfortable and welcome (considering we were from out of town (Wichita Falls, TX)). David reassured us that we wouldn't make a drive to Decatur with a good deal...and he kept his word. We want to really express our appreciation for David's service and everyone there at James Wood Motors. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel so comfortable. We even were paid a friendly visit from Mr. Wood himself. He was especially friendly and we would like him to know that he has a very special salesman working for him. All of his staff is great! He should be proud.

The service dept. is always great, this was my 3rd time to bring my vehicle in for oil change and they wash it for me every time. I also have had 3 recalls on my vehicle, I received a card this last time in the mail and when I got there that day my husband told the guys about the recall and they fixed it while we were there so that was a great service. The other 2 times on the recall I never received anything letting me know and when I got there for the oil change the service dept told me they had fixed a recall on my vehicle. We were a "drop in" for service and to have antennae replaced for out satellite radio and telephone. The staff went to work quickly, did the needed service, rotated tires and replaced the part on the antennae. Very professional, yet most friendly folks. I had an issue with the driver seat controls. Ie it would not stay where positioned I left the car one am and the guys were able to find a service bulletin on the seat problem and fixed it. That day. No more moving seat. Thanks.

I live in Denton and purchased my Verano at your Denton dealership. When I needed body work done the Denton dealership was backed up with hail damage vehicles. After waiting six weeks from time of appraisal they suggested driving the car to the Decatur dealership. I did this and picked up the Verano yesterday. The repair work is excellent.

They never showed any impatience, even when I test drove 6 different cars, and I didn't feel like I had been taken to the cleaners when I left. It was honest, straight-forward and pleasant. I found the vehicle on the internet that I wanted and when I got to the dealership there was no haggling (I refuse to do that) at all. The dealership is wonderful and I could not have had a better salesperson than Nia. She is the best! GM however is beginning to severely irritate me. I bought my new Traverse on 6/6/14 and still have not been able to take delivery of it due to the fact that the safety recall issues have still not been repaired. It's my understanding that GM has still not shipped the parts to the dealership. GM is making me wonder if I should just cancel the purchase all together.

I didn't have to wait for hours like at other dealers to get to the financing office. We were in and out of there in less than 1 hour.

I knew we were going to need a 3/4 ton pick-up as ours just wasn't enough to pull the large trailer we had recently purchased, so it was great to get a call from your dealership about trading out 2012 1/2 ton in. Bill Loafman was very courteous and fixed us up just right. At our age I don't know if we will buy another car or truck, but if we do, it will be from James Wood Motors.

I brought my truck in for scheduled service which included tire rotation. It is a dually and it was very clean truck and wheels. When the inside wheels where put on the out side they were dirty. I just thought it would have been a courtesy to wipe them off to match the rest of the clean truck. No biggie just a thought. Other than that the work was done in a timely manner.

Excellent for service but have tried before and again to purchase new but you are always way lower on trade in value than anyone else. Also you require money down to hold a place in line for new cars coming in where James Woods in Denton does not and they offer more for trade in.

I am widowed and live alone. When I went out to start the car it seemed to have a dead battery. I looked around and all of the men had left for work. I called you'll and was so suprised when you immediatly sent someone out to Runaway Bay to start the car. I brought in the Buick Enclave for correction of a recall problem. The dealership understood that there was a medical issue I was dealing with and provided me a loaner car while mine was worked on. This process was efficient, fast and the staff most courteous. The vehicle was clean, and available without a wait. I received a call that my vehicle was ready and upon returning, it was very fast and I was able to return quickly to the clinic to be with family member. You made me feel so special!

Karen was great! However most people do not realize that some of us has sensitivity to fragrances. The gentleman who wrote our contract was fresh out of the shower and smelling his best but made me have an awful headache and feel goofy in my head. I made him aware but let him finish. It would be great if people knew they should limit their fragrance. It only smells good to those not sensitive.

bought a pick up and also bought the plan from James Woods for under coating and to protect the seats and the paint. Some how the side of the bed had scratches on it after the process. They stood by their people and when the scratches could not be removed they painted the whole bed. now that is what i think is the the best show of customer satisfaction. I purchased a 2014 Sierra on April 30. I dealt with Karen Pattison from my initial Internet contact through the end. Karen did an excellent job of finding me the exact vehicle I wanted, finding all the incentives I was eligible for including the upgrades for a business purchase, and working the deal while skipping lunch - twice! The parts and prep team got the wheels and tires I wanted swapped out on short notice and had the truck ready on a pretty quick turn-around. From my initial contact with Karen I experienced nothing short of dedicated professionalism and an incredibly pleasant purchasing experience. I have several Chevy and GMC dealers quite a bit closer to me than Decatur but I didn't even try to shop James Woods price because of how Karen responded from the start. If you're tired of the "let me talk to my manager" game of other dealers then you owe yourself the treat of dealing with Karen and James Woods motors.
