When I first went in to lease my last vehicle I wasn't sure what I wanted to do afterwards. I totally enjoyed my Ford Escape and was more reliable and felt comfortable when driving then the car I had previously. Now when my lease came up I decided to get another lease and same make/model since I really liked the vehicle. This new vehicle got a few more bells and whistles but I am really pleased and happy with it. Definitely Jay Malone Motors helped with processing everything and had friendly service.

We have been taking our Ford vehicles to Jay Malone for servicing ever since we moved to the area in 2010. Every time we are greeted by a friendly, nice service desk person. They don't do any repair without going over it with you first and get your permission. Their inspection of the vehicle is thorough and they let you know early when something, like tires or brakes, are approaching replacement time. This gives you time to think about and prepare for the impending replacement, allowing you to decide when to get the replacement done when it works best for you.

Jay Malone's as been a great dealership to work with over the years. We just purchased a Ford Fusion a couple of months ago and were talking to Jason Schaalma that our Lease was coming due in August. He recommended that we come in about a month or 2 prior to the lease being up and we look into our options (Buy out right or lease another truck). My husband went down for the car's first oil change and was talking to Ritchie Rogowski about the current models of truck and we had them look into what our options were for lease. Jason was able to get us out of our lease early and was able to get us into a brand new lease and stayed with in our budget. We always enjoy working with these guys and highly recommend taking the time to shop local.

I was looking to buy a used car and wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to drive or how much I wanted to spend. I had previously dealt with Ritchie on a previous car purchase before, but this time was just next level. We purchased a new car previously, but Ritchie could sense my hesitation on buying another new car. There was absolutely no pressure to be pushed into vehicle that I didn't need or want. Ritchie took me out in at least 3 cars and threw me the keys to a few more. I finally found the car that fit me. Was it the most expensive on the lot? Absolutely not. But that didn't matter to Ritchie. He could sense that it was the car for me and didn't even try to push me to something more expensive. Ritchie will answer his phone and will even negotiate via text whether he is working or not. After Ritchie helped me get financed and get on the road I was still left with a sense of actual joy from a car buying experience. You see Ritchie is not just a car salesman, he is a genuine human. He will tell you about his family and ask to know more about yours. Its through these small details that he learns what car might be right for you. He's a straight talker and won't argue if you say a car isn't right for you. I know one thing for sure. Every car I buy in the future will only be through Ritchie. Early in February 2016 my wife and I visited the dealership, and I brought a list of "needs and wishes" for a used truck. Our goal was to have the dealership do a search at auto auctions, and hoped to have something by the end of April. We visited with Brent for a little while that evening and then we left to go home. We barely left the dealership and Brent and his manager had a truck picked out for us from the lot.We came back the following evening, looked at the truck and took it for a test drive. The dealership made us a very kind offer and we decided to take it.Long story short, we encountered some difficulty with the truck after leaving the dealership, but they took care of one of the issues, even though the truck didn't have a warranty.Thank you guys very much for your help!

I had never felt so disrespected. Test drove 2 cars and both had serious problems. I was told to drive back because they were in that bad of shape. The dealer was so rude and disrespectful. I put an offer out and he laughed at me and tried to make me sign a contract that he wrote right in front of me. It was pretty pathetic for this size of a dealership that he worked at

I'm in the process of buying a new car. Although Jay Malone does not have the car for me they are trying very hard to find me one! I have had the delight to work with Ritchie. He is honestly the best car salesman I've ever worked with! Not because he is good at making a sale but because he is trying so hard to get me exactly what I want. ( down to the push to start ) He understands exactly what I will pay and is making sure it will be within the amount I gave them for my monthly payment. After moving to Hutchinson from Connecticut, we have spoken to Tanner Lindell many times, either for an oil change or for some type of problem with our cars. Tanner is the most friendly, helpful and goes way beyond the "call of duty" to help us out each time. I had recently moved to Hutchinson, MN from Saint Louis, MO and needed some attention for my 2010 Ford Focus SEL. I had grown accustomed to the great service that I was receiving at the Bommarito Ford Dealership in Hazelwood, MO. I was pleased to find that great service was also a part of the repertoire of the personnel at Jay Malone Motors at 1165 Hwy. 7, Hutchinson, MN. Upon arriving in Hutchinson, MN I wanted to set up a relationship with a Ford Dealership who would pay detailed attention to my Ford Focus, and who would manage the business end of maintaining a vehicle in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. I went to Jay Malone Motors knowing they were a Ford Dealership, and believing they would be a good choice toward adding a block heater to my engine, and servicing the thermostat and radiator of my Ford Focus. I went to Jay Malone Motors, on Friday, December 11, 2015 in the late afternoon, and approached the customer care desk inside the dealership, and I was greeted by two ladies with smiling faces who exhibited an excellent desire toward good customer service. The one lady upon hearing of my request for service for my vehicle, took the time and valued effort to personally walk me to the service desk and introduced me to Tanner and Kevin at the service counter. Tanner Lindell quickly volunteered to assist me, and began the process of getting a block heater and thermostat ordered for my Ford Focus. Tanner was able to set up a convenient appointment for me for the following Friday (12/18/2015). Tanner was also able to set up a new Ford Owner Advantage Rewards Account for me for the Jay Malone Motors Dealership to allow me to start earning rewards immediately on the service that I was having done on my vehicle. The Ford Owner Advantage Rewards program was something I was hoping to be able to continue using, and Tanner expeditiously set up my new account. Tanner was thorough in setting up my profile, and handled each aspect in a professional and friendly manner. When it came time to drop off my vehicle on Thursday Evening, it was after the Service Department had already stopped working for the day; but, Jason Schaalma, the General Manager of Jay Malone Motors, was able to answer all my questions concerning the drop-off procedures. The mannerism of Jason Schaalma was also professional, friendly, and courteous in his interactions. On the following Friday (12/18/2015) the work was to begin on my 2010 Ford Focus. As can happen, a difficulty of a part failing had made the servicing of my vehicle a bit more time consuming. Tanner called me during that Friday, and informed me of the difficulty, and informed me that a replacement part would be in on Monday (12/21/2015) for my vehicle. Tanner went further, in my case, and offered me a vehicle on loan from the dealership for the weekend to alleviate any need for a mode of transportation for the weekend. So on Saturday afternoon, I was able to speak with General Manager Jason Schaalma again, and he quickly and efficiently attended to the course of action needed to allow me to attain the loaned vehicle. On Monday (12/21/2015), I received a call from Tanner Lindell informing me of the positive outcome of the work that was done by the mechanics team. Tanner also was detail oriented enough to inform me of the final cost for the service performed on my vehicle which allowed me to be prepared at the time of payment. In summary, I would say that I received excellent service at each moment of the process of getting a new relationship started with a new dealership and new automotive service team. The procedure of servicing my vehicle from setting up a new customer profile to the payment was one that was done with professionalism, and in a friendly, and courteous manner. The challenge in my particular case was handled with ease by Tanner, and the team of mechanics of Jay Malone Motors. The expertise that was used in managing my particular challenge gives one confidence in entrusting one's vehicle to the personnel of Jay Malone Motors. Thank you, to each of you at Jay Malone Motors, for making the servicing of my Ford Focus an easy process where one can feel confident in the abilities of those desiring to help you in maintaining a vehicle. I took my vehicle in to get a diagnostic test run. I already knew what it would probably be based on my reader. It took two hours for them just to call me with a quote because they ALL had gone to lunch. Or, at least, that's what I was told. Another hour later they called and said they wanted to remove the Cam to see if it was scored and if I was losing oil pressure. I'm a mechanic and knew I wasn't losing oil pressure, I just needed a sensor replaced. I said how can the cam be damaged as you state when I still have good oil pressure. The parts total was $170 but my quote was for close to $600. And another $110 for the diagnostic. I had told myself I wouldn't go back again after I paid $700 to them for a cooling system flush and check fluids. At that time, they tried to tell me my transmission case was low and leaking into the transmission. I know it's sealed and a seperate unit. That was going to be an extra $500 if I had let them do it. I will never go there again and will let my friends and family know. I'm buying a new Ford truck in March but it won't be through Jay Malone Motors.

Bought a new Jeep mid August. A couple weeks later (less than 150 miles on it) was driving in Hutchinson and vehicle shut down. Could have been worse if on freeway. Called dealership who gave us number for Chrysler tow service. set up appointment with Brent the following Thursday to see what was going on. A cable for power to fuse box was not secured to body of vehicle by manufacturer. Appointment with Brent was at 3:00pm but did not see us until 4:20 pm. Very disappointed. Basically Brent said it was not the dealerships problem. He said we had to deal with Chrysler directly. Ask abought getting a new vehicle and answer was with depreciation and car defect we would have to pay about 9000 more for a new vehicle with trade in. Didn't even have the new Jeep for 2 two weeks. We bought 2 new vehicles from Jay Malone in a year and that's how we get treated? Jay Malone should stand behind their vehicles they sell. They should deal with the Chrysler and give some satisfaction to it's customers. Have been telling all how we were treated by the dealership. Would not recommend anyone to this dealership. Dealership for life?

He showed one to me that exactly fit my request. We dealt back and fourth for a few days with needs that I felt I needed. Brent always took them to the appropriate person. I didn't get to deal with Jay, however, I did work with Justin and Jason throughout the entire car shopping process. They listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle, they researched options that were available on their lot AND for possible dealer trades AND they even went to auction to find me just what I was looking for. They offered me a loner vehicle while my vehicle was getting fixed so it didn't cause me problems with work and day-care. When I went into the dealership I did not know what I really wanted for a vehicle. After driving a few vehicles I finally figured out what I really wanted. Justin did an excellent job of showing me all the available vehicles that I was interested in, and answering all my questions. Justin also did a excellent job showing me all the options and how to use them after my purchase. Jason went out of his way to then find me the vehicle I wanted, which he did after lots of searching! Tracy did a very good job as well with all the paperwork and covering the extended warranty options. We went in to see about leasing a vehicle for a trip. Brent was very knowledgeable about the Dodge Dart we looked at. The test drive was great. In the end we purchased the car and Brent walked us through the process. Brent was very attentive to our wants and needs. He went the extra mile. What a great experience for buying my first vehicle! My car salesman was very helpful to me in finding exactly what I was asking for and at a competitive price. He was not pushy and he talked me through everything and was extremely friendly. The finance department made sure I understood what I was signing papers for and friendly as well. Jason, Tracy and Kurt were excellent to work with. The vehicle was explained in detail and we were allowed ample time to consider the purchase, test drive the vehicle and ask all questions we had. We have purchased here many times before and will definitely check with them for our next vehicle. The service we have needed (routine oil changes , etc) has always been handled efficiently and courteously. Rides to work while they work on the vehicle are not a problem, they are very accommodating across the board. So nice to deal in town with local people.

I drove 3 hours south to Jay Malone Motors and was treated very well by the staff. I ended up buying a 2008 Ford Taurus and was very impressed by the car. Everything was as advertised and they went out of their way to get a framework for a deal done before I left so I did not end up wasting time on a drive. I just want to thank the guys again for their work and making the whole experience worthwhile. I would suggest if driving a distance to call ahead and these guys will get the ball rolling to either have things ready when you arrive or so they can save you a drive.

After communicating with a salesman for over 3 weeks and having difficulty getting him to return our phone calls, we decided to travel 500 miles one way to see the f150 crew longbox in person. The morning that we were to leave, after trying once again to get ahold of the salesman, he informed us that the truck wasn't on the lot. When I asked him if it was out for a test drive, he responded with it "was slated for auction and it ran yesterday." I asked why no one contacted us and why we were having such a hard time getting information about the truck. He told me he never got the information, and apparently didn't feel the need to update us. We have never had such a horrible experience, so I emailed the owner directly as we were leaving for the weekend. I still have not received a response back yet and this was over a week ago. We read the review about the gentleman with the car mixup and thought it was a fluke. I wish we would have taken it to heart more and not wasted our time with this awful dealer!

I was looking for a used truck. I sent my application in online met with josh to discuss trucks, there was one vehicle I qualified for. I was shown a 2005 f-150xlt in almost mint condition. I drove it. I liked it. I accepted this because they said they would give me 2k off and would give me 1200 for my trade in. I received a call later that day from the business manager stating that we had missed a few steps on the contract and I would need to go in to sign a few things. Upon arrival my sales rep came outside to meet me and immediately began apologizing for a mix up in the paper work. He stated that he showed me the wrong vehicle and the other ford f150 on the lot was supposed to be the one that he should have showed me...... The one he should have showed me was a red f150 lariat with three doors. The one he initially showed me was a burgundy f150 xlt with four doors. The lariat had a rusty bumper and there was something wrong with the steering wheel. I am quite upset at this point, and stated very clearly I want the truck that was shown to me for the quoted price. They were unwilling to do this. They wanted me to put and extra 5200 down on the truck they showed me. I would not recommend going to this dealership to anyone.

They advertise that they can finance anyone but I could not get approved on good credit. The salesman was very rude and unfriendly. They don't like to return phone calls. So I called them and they got really crabby with me. I would not buy a car from them. They also have there prices mixed up. There online prices are cheaper than what is listed on the vehicle.
