I was completely satisfied with Cat Mcmillian on the assistance with buying a new car. She was very knowledgeable with all the information and help that she provided. My last car shopping experience (3 1/2 years ago with another dealer), was absolutely dreadful (to say that least) and I overcame this fear once I sat down and started talking with her. My experience was beyond the 10 and five star rating that I gave. I went to the dealership with a personal situation and as I explained it to Zach, he understood Review went to work with the sales manager. They went over and beyond to help me get my car. I then had the opportunity to talk to Cat and her knowledge was also above the 5 star rating. Don in financing made me feel like we had been friends for years. Bought 2017 Chevy Impala. I will refer mainly because of our Sales Lady named Catherine McMillian, the dealership's strong suit in my view. John Clark, the business manager was pretty friendly. The sales manager seemed to be abrupt and unfriendly, when I pointed out the lousy job the outside contractor responsible for prepping the cars did, for final sale. He did agree to put on the door spears--(chrome trim), to close the deal, so at least that was nice.

Unsure of what we actually wanted, we visited Jeff Schmitt. Cat McMillian asked us fact-finding questions, listened to what we said, and made several suggestions. She had two vehicles brought around for us to test drive. Unfortunately, GM does not offer what I was wanting to purchase. I wanted a regular cab, long bed truck with a 373 rear end. This is needed to haul a skid loader that I own. Ford does offer the required vehicle. Having been a loyal GM customer for well over 50 years, it was very difficult to leave GM for a competitor, but I did. Cat McMillian did everything she possibly could do, but GM did not meet my needs. If I decide to buy another vehicle in the future, Cat McMillian will be the first person I go see.

Since then I have had my car serviced at this location and have worked with Abby Shoemaker every time. She has always been courteous and friendly. Sometimes when we were working with them, their computer network was working slower than we all would have liked, but who doesn't deal with slow networks at times? DaZell Henderson helped us with the purchase and Debi worked with us on financing and both were friendly and easy to deal with. I have no doubt that if we had walked away without purchasing that we still would have been treated with respect. Good transaction.

I visited Jeff Schmitt North to see about buying a new vehicle. They didn't have what I was looking for but said they could get the vehicle from another dealer. I sat down with Mike and told him what I was looking for and he said it would take a few days to locate the vehicle and that he would call me once he found what I was looking for. So yesterday Mike calls and says that they found a few different vehicles and asked if I could come in to look over the spec sheets. I said I would stop by the next day (today) but was unsure on the exact time. Low and behold, I get an email at midnight from Mike stating that I now had an appointment at 1:15 pm the next day. Although I was upset with them for making an appointment without my prior consent, I still showed up, on time. I walk in, ask for Mike, and as it turns out he is busy with some other customers. Fair enough, I was just there to look at spec sheets and pick which vehicle I liked best anyway, didn't much matter who showed me the papers. Anyway, I stood there for 30 minutes waiting to see these spec sheets. As it turns out, or as it appeared, they never looked for the vehicle prior to my arrival. So there I wait, and wait, finally they find a vehicle they think I may like. It was close, but not quite there. So back to the computer they go to search for another vehicle. I asked "JP" the guy I was handed off how long it's going to take. 5 minutes "Tops" he said... He comes back 15 minutes later with another vehicle he found. Unfortunately their price wasnt what I was willing to pay, and due to the fact they wasted my time and lied about finding several vehicles earlier, I thanked them for their time and left. I won't be returning anytime soon. You are free to form your own opinion but to me they just love making the customer wait. Fortunately there are Chevy dealers in almost every town so the search continues.

The service was very rude and arrogant with me when providing estimates for my repairs. When I simply disagreed with previous information he'd given he was rude and preceding to tell me I was wrong and he was right. My parents bought their Malibu off of Miranda earlier this month, when they brought me in I was really skeptical on whether they could get me done being self-employed with limited credit. We were from put of state, traveling home fr a vacation, when our truck started giving us problems. We called our mechanic in Wisconsin and he advised us to go to a GM dealership for service. I was in on 3/28 getting my oil change and tires rotated and was approached outside while I was smoking by a young man named Sean Staley. He greeted me and asked if I needed any help with anything, I told I was getting service and he asked if he could get me a beverage. I said no however I asked he could show me how configure one of my radio setting. He took me to the showroom floor and demonstrated on the black equinox they had on the floor. Everyone there made us feel like a valuable customer. Ten days after we purchased the vehicle while out we had a flat. We used OnStar who got Chev. for us. They came to our location with in thirty minutes & put the spare on. The next morning we called the service department who got us in when we needed to be there & fixed the tire while we had lunch. Everything was great about our purchase until we realized that the salesman had made a mistake and misinformed us that the vehicle had blue tooth. The most bothersome part was switching phone contracts because we thought our phones were the issue. I really wish they would have corrected their mistake as this was the second purchase we made from them and the first went really well. We are not going to purchase another car from them.

I had been shopping for a car for a couple months. I had talking to salesmen and frequenting car lots almost every weekend. I ran into some good and bad sales men. Some talked down to me because I did not want to finance and another that tried to sneak $2000 extra on to the end of the deal, hoping I wouldnt notice. After months of this I was very skeptical that there were good honest salesmen and reputable dealerships. That is until I called and talked to the internet sales department at your dealership. I initially approached the conversation a little standoffish just waiting to be talked to the same way I had been for months but what I received was the exact opposite. After I got off the phone I felt very good and comfortable with the person I had talked to. Even though the dealership is an hour from my house I told my husband I still wanted to go see the SUV I called about. I told him this place is different. It just felt different and it was, from the minute I walked in the door until the time I pulled off the lot, the experience was very different than any I had with other car dealerships or salesmen. I felt very comfortable. No one talked down to me or talked to me like I was doing the wrong thing with wanting to pay almost all cash for my SUV. Everything was explained and the salesman went over everything in detail. Nothing changed when I did my loan paperwork and title paperwork. The numbers stayed the same and everything was once again explained very carefully to us. When I declined the extended protection plan I was not made to feel like I was a bad person. The importance of it was expressed but not to the point where I felt bad I just felt that they wanted me to understand the coverage and were looking out for me and my family. I still declined and that was ok. So far the follow up communication has been wonderful. I feel that I can contact Kelly Grody for anything and she would do everything she can to help me. I am very confident that if I recommended a friend or family member, and I defiantly will, to your dealership they would have the same experience I did. Thank you for everything and most of all thank you for making me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase.

We bought our car 5 months ago. About 2 wks ago the traction control started acting up. Then last week on Saturday night ( it was -20 out side) while coming home from the movies with my daughters the traction control came on again but this time, the car completely lost power and died on me right in the middle of the street. I was able to get off the road and called my son to come pick us up. I was too scared to drive after that considering the weather. The following day I took a chance and called to talk to someone regarding my warranty. Luckily Kelly G was there, she was able to go over everything with me (she was the one who did our financing) and even helped me arrange towing. Our car was towed to the service dept at Jeff Schmitts and Kelly emailed the service dept to let them know what was going on. On Monday , Tom from service called me. He was able to determine the problem, repaired it and then found something else wrong. The part was ordered and was supposed to be in the next day. As Old Man Winter was playing with us, the part did not arrive. Tom called me again and had already had a rental ready for me. It took a few days for the complete repairs but the service was second to none. We could not be happier with our experience from buying to the service repairs. Thank you Jeff Scmitt's, keep up the good work!!

Ian worked out the details on trading my wounderful 2011 Chevy Cruze for the amazing new 2014 Chevy Cruze. This has been the worst car buying experience I've ever had. From the call when I left asking for down payment over the phone because he "forgot" to the check engine light coming on the day I bought the car, it not starting and being towed after one week, to visiting the service center about 7-10 times in less than 30 days, then having to come sign the paperwork for the title and registration bc that paper was lost. So I was driving a car for two weeks that wasn't even registered to me. I understand it was used however I feel I was sold a car with multiple unaddressed issues. All that decided to show their face within the day-month of buying it. I'm not exactly sure what qualifies a "lemon" however I may need to find out. Again. Worst car buying experience. Ever. Thank you.

Was originally looking at the Ford Escape to buy. We decided to stop in to see the Chevy Equinox LT after comparing the two vehicles online. The salesman, Austin, came out to see if we needed any help and we told him what we were looking for. He started showing us the features of the one we were looking at and then asked if we wanted to take a test drive. We drove the Equinox and found we really liked it better than the Escape. We think the Equinox has more room and cargo space than the Escape. The seats are more comfortable and my daughter had plenty of leg room and space. Austin showed genuine interest in meeting our needs with regards to style, options and financing. They worked to find us the best financing to fit our needs. We are very happy with our new car and the Easy Care plan that is part of the dealership. Our salesman made this buying experience a very relaxing and pleasant experience.

I know that their has been quite a few NEGATIVE remarks concerning this auto group. especially about the writings in the Daily News, and especially about the "Etch Guard Protection"...which has been called "worthless window theft protection" I personally talked to Jeff Vangorder, who is the Sales Manger. I told him about the Etch Guard, which I did not want, anyway, and he asked me if I would come in and talk to him personally about this. I came in, and he had already had a check prepared for me in a FULL refund, even though it has been 13 months since I purchased my car. Jeff is a honest person, and you could not ask for more from him!

Recently bought our car from here. Salesman was great, no problems. Finance was horrible. Had to wait 2 hours to get in to sign paperwork and there was no other people ahead of us. By this time it was closing time, we were tired and had not had dinner. Finance guy was up from Middletown. He told us that our Kia factory warranty did not apply to second owners, which our first car from them in July we were told it was, so I was upset. To smooth things over they "upgraded" us and gave us freebies in regards to their environmental package, dent repair etc. After we got home, found out that he charged us for all of the "freebies" and added them into the financing. My fault for not pulling out the calculator and adding everything up, but I was tired and by that time grumpy. Furious we called the next day and refused to take delivery of the vehicle until paperwork was right. They agreed to fix paperwork and told us they would have it ready when we got there that night, as we told them we were not waiting again. They wanted to charge us for the environment package since it was already put on, but decided to "give" us that one. Paperwork was not ready, had to wait another hour, then when paperwork was completed found out we were charged too much for title so that was fixed. Then they were not going to give us the extra year on the "extras" that we were suppose to get. Title was suppose to be just in my name but ended up being in both my wife and my name and we didn't know this until we got the memorandum title to get license, had to have wife there too then. Was suppose to get paint ordered and sent to house for "us" to fix some nics in the paint. Still have not received it. Called and spoke the the assistant of the guy you see on TV to complain about the dishonesty of the finance man and was told he would be calling me back that day....never heard from him. We did receive a call from the regular finance lady that they were now giving us the extra year warranty like we were promised. Never ever again!!

I would like to commend Dennis and Kelly for their great experience that they provided to me and my daughter. We purchased a 2010 Equinox with fantastic options and low miles for a great price. On top of that it was so easy to make arrangements to see and drive the vehicle. The entire process online and in person was very easy. My daughter and I were very pleased with our sales represenative Dennis and were additionally pleased that we got to be his first sale and cut his tie at the completion of the process. Dennis accompanied us on the test ride and provided excellent explanations on vehicle options and the customer care packages available to us. Kelly was a fantasitic person to work with, she had my daughter and me in stitches as were were going through the finacing portion of the purchase, worth it to buy another vehicle just to speak with her.When we picked up our vehicle it looked as nice as a brand new car, exterior clean, interior clean, wheels and tires clean! They even provided a little car car package (car wash, wax and tire protectant). The additonal post sale services are great additions to the value of the vehicle.The Jeff Schimdt group definetly deserves the great rating that I am giving them. I came to Jeff Schmitt to find a reliable car because my car had broken down. I am a full time student, have a disabled child, and am very active in my school and community. Having a reliable car is a must for me! I do not have the best credit and I was astonished when I was told that I could be approved for a 2003 Jaguar with only 107,000 miles on it. For obvious reasons, I-like many others would, jumped at the opportunity to have such a nice vehicle. I ignored all of the voices in my head telling me that something was not right with this picture. The day that I picked up my car, I was told that the small leak in one of the tires had been fixed. I drove it home and turned right back around because it was already almost flat. They did order a new wheel as it was bent. That I was happy about. What I was not happy about was that before they could even get the wheel in (I was driving on a spare), my car broke down. I called the dealership and after sitting in the cold for three hours, they finally sent a tow truck. Myself and four other witnesses watched the tow driver hook up my "new" car and haul it to Jeff Schmitt. (I was also told that the dealership only had three loaner cars and they were out so it was my problem to find a car while it was being fixed.) When I went to pick up my car, I was told that they could not "duplicate the issue and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle." Also, my headlight was busted out. Let me take a few steps back and tell you that Joe had already informed me that,"they can back out of the loan at any time" while I was making a complaint. Upon speaking to the General Manager, Jeff, I was told that the headlight was not their responsibility because I cannot prove that they busted it out or that it happened on their property. He told me that he could order me a headlight and I would only have to pay their price to fix it!!!! He also told me that as far as a loaner car is concerned, they can only loan me a used car for two days ( I guess I have to walk if it takes more than two days to fix my car)! This has been the WORST buying experience of my life!!! I would have been better off to fix the engine in my old car. I have had better service from "mom and pop" car lots for sure! They did not even take the time to clean and detail the car for me! I have no idea how Jeff Schmitt is such a big business if this is how they treat their customers. Completely disgusted! Utterly disappointed!

The location is under construction but I did not mind. I can't wait to see what the remodeled showroom will look like when complete. I have heard others complain but you just have to be understanding. The employees were very apologetic about it though, but there's no reason to be. I LOVED my overall service with the company. My salesman was Ian Hanks, you can clearly see how passionate he is about his job, and it shows greatly. I was happy that he did not show me cars I was not interested in. Other dealerships would not listen to what I want and just show me something just to get more money out of me, but Ian was perfect! I like the fact that everyone at this location listens to your needs and wants. The sales manager Brian also listened and made sure I received what I wanted to pay and in negotiations. OMG you just have to LOVE the Finance Manager Angela Greil! I requested a certain interest rate and she made sure she got it for me! With all the customers in front of me in line it was great to know that she was actively working for everyone at once. I was thrilled to know after my day at the dealer that she already had everything I wanted set up and all I had to do was sign! This company has definitely captured my heart and sold me my perfect car! Everything I wanted and needed is what I got, I couldn't have asked for a better service and process. We bought a new sports car in 2011 (the wife's dream car) from Brian who is now the manager. We went back last summer to look at another sports car (the husband's dream car) and Josh was very patient with us. After a long time and lots of effort on Brian and Josh's part we determined that we just could not afford it at that time. We recently realized we needed a new SUV and began working with Josh again since our treatment at their store had been so good. During this time my father in law had gone there to buy his wife a car also. Our schedule never matched up with Josh's schedule and we could not meet up. The day we were actually able to go to the dealership happened to be the weekend that Josh was out of town. We were helped by a very nice young man by the name of Shawn. He went out of his way to drive us back and forth in the freezing cold until we found the right one for us. They stayed open late so we could drive home in our new SUV. It took quite a while to get everything completed and Shawn made sure he kept us informed of everything that was going on the whole time. He even offered our daughter his girl scout cookies. We will certainly be back there for our next purchase and especially when it is time to buy hubby's new fancy ride.

We looked at a truck on Saturday...truck would not start,jumped it said it was because of weather! Called Saturday night told them we would take it...Amber said to come back tomorrow (Sunday) at 430..we get there only to find truck still on lot not cleaned....spoke to Kelly and she said it would be cleaned and ready but when she spoke to someone they told her it would not start again,so after paper work signed we could not take truck home...they called us Monday and said it was ready,so yet again another trip ..picked up DIRTY truck,Donald forgot his snap shot and license plates on car so called Amber,she said she would have them pulled and ready...Kelly called Thursday to say some paperwork was not signed..so again another trip there on Saturday to sign the rest and pick up the left behind things...well they cant find the snapshot nor license plates! Now the insurance is gonna go up because its unplugged and someone has to pay for the camera!! Window on truck cracked and said it would be fixed or replaced..guy came to house and filled it but didnt like how it filled!! The running to the dealership was way more then should have been and the misplacing of personal things is crazy or was the call to Amber neglected when she told us she would get it out of car.The only thing nice out of this was the ladies we spoke with (Amber and Kelly) they were great! But the dirty truck and no calls returned is nuts,and will be turned in to someone higher,if the call was neglected then be honest and tell us the car was sold with the snapshot in it dont tell us on Saturday morning you will call us and here it is Monday and no call!!

My only issues are one week after my purchase the fan blower motor started making noise at all speeds. I had to replace. The drive belt was making a noise that could not be stopped by any method. I had to replace. Total cost of repair since purchase (18 Jan 13)$137.00.

I went into the used car dealership in fairborn and was interested in a 2011 chevy silverado truck took it for a test drive and came back very interested.So I asked the salesman whats the best deal he can do. So he started to take down some of my information asked if I had a trade I said yes year make model then he asked how much I owed on my truck I responded that I didnt want to divulge that information and wanted to see how much I could get on trade first.He stood up and said goodby I asked are you serious he said goodby again and started to walk outside and took the tag off the truck.By now I'm getting pissed so I said I've never been treated so rude and threw his business card at him as I was walking out the door.I'm not sure what kind of business Jeff Schmitt is trying to run but if thats the way he treats his customers I would be supprised if he ever sold any cars.The commercials always say were dealing apparantly not!!!! This has to be the worst experience I have ever had and I or any of my friends or family will never vist this car dealership ever again.I'm still shock at this horrible experience

Why wasn't it on the sticker? I found a vehicle that suited my needs, in my price range through an online search. Called ahead to make sure that it was still on the lot as I was making a 61 mile drive. I was satisfied with the process until final checkout when the EXTRA CHARGES appeared. There was an ADD ON for environmental clearcoat, and each glass surface etched with some sort of serial number. They said the etching was a theft deterrent and would likely qualify me for and insurance break. No such luck! My insurance company(one of the big three) never heard of it. Caveat emptor. Car salesmen always uphold their reputation don't they?

Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet North is a great dealership to work with. The business is expertly managed by Ken. The sales person I worked with, Doug Lutz, was very friendly, and understood my needs. He was able to help me find the perfect vehicle for my needs. The finance person I worked with, Angela, was able to help me to get approved, even though my credit wasn't the best. They gave me a great price for my trade in, and Angela was a huge help in getting the finance portion approved. The manager, Ken, and the sales person Doug worked with me even after the deal, to ensure I was happy. They made sure the vehicle I bought had all of the minor details fixed on the vehicle, and they even made sure I had an extra set of keys made. They also paid to get the keyless entry code so that I could use the keyless entry feature on the vehicle. Overall, I was super impressed with the level of customer service I received, even after the sale.

I was interested in the Chevy Equinox and I hadn't planned on buying until the spring, however I met Shaun Staley who to me was very patient and cool as a cucumber. From 1992 to 2012 I have never had an engine problem or transmission issue with the silverado.I wanted certain things on the truck, and certain things off the truck, this required IAN HANKS the sales rep to work with JAMIE POWERS AND BRIAN MULKEY the sales managers to juggle the numbers and add or subtract the vehicle package to meet my purchase price.***** IAN HANKS ***** MY SALES REP, EVEN CAME IN ON HIS """"DAY OFF""""" TO FOLLOW AND COMPLETE THE PURCHASE PROCESS.Next Angela who handled the actual paperwork to get me out the door and on the road, was very competent and the process flowed in minimal time.The parts I wanted installed were ordered and recieved the next day for installation, my maintenance technician STEVE, did a thorough job of inspecting every item to ensure it was positoned right and securely in place. The maintenance supervisor also did a walk around after the installation. I am a college student and was looking for a car that was dependable, and nice looking on the interior and exterior. I found a 2006 Chevy Impala online that had an internet special going on at the time. Upon entering the dealership, everyone was very friendly and although my application was denied at first, I got out a personal loan from my bank and came back to purchase the car. All of the paperwork went smooth and I was able to get the car of my choice for the internet special price. The salesman Jordan helped a lot with the paperwork and was very caring and understanding when I brought back the car to get something fixed on it. They helped get it fixed right away and was very professional and friendly when it came to the customer service provided.

Went to buy a used car at this dealership that was advertised on their website at a certain price. Upon arrival, they were willing to honor the advertised price. The lady that helped with the final sale paperwork, Kelley, was outstanding. However, what they don't tell you is that there is an additional charge added to the cost of the vehicle. These include an $849 Environmental Package and a $249 Etch Package. After noticing this once we were at home, we proceeded to return to the dealership to speak to them about this. Of course, we needed to meet with the sales manager about this issue. He proceeded to explain to us that if he didn't add these items into the price of the vehicle, he wouldn't make enough money, and that this is their "business model." We were only able to get him to refund us half of the Environmental Package. My advice is to look over all the paperwork extremely carefully at this dealership.

I am a collector of the classic Reatta, I happen to be driving by the lot with a friend and noticed the Reatta on the lot. I came in to talk about the car, the rep Alex came to my attention, after a couple weeks of haggling and going some thru some pain (paying taxes on document fees) Alex and his manager team came thru with a great price for the condition of the vehicle. Believe or not they actually gave a tank of gas with the car. Overall it was a good experience except for some behind the scene additional fees.

I was shown one car which I really liked but my credit was not the best to get in that car. I was then shown another car which I could get into base off my credit. My husband was looking for a new vehicle and Shaun contacted with some info on cars and asked if he could keep in contact with him. We went to the dealership on black Friday and Shaun was there. He showed us a Summit White Equinox that we fell in love with. He got the keys and told us to get in the car - he had the heater going so we would stay warm while talking about the car. Showed us all the details told us we could call him any time with questions. Since it was late in the day we decided to close the deal the following day. Shaun was there bright and early and ready to go, he had all the paper work ready to go to Angela and she finished the deal. They were both very attentive to us and made feel comfortable and at home. We like Jeff Schmitt Chevy it is convenient and relatively close. We need a GM dealer for our services we don't like going away from the family. We are a retired GM family and we greatly appreciate GM's attentiveness.

I came in to look around at the Cruze when i was approached by Tim Barker. He was very nice and understood that I wasn't ready to buy at that moment. When i left however i knew that i was going to buy and buy from Tim. I returned the very next day. He had the car pulled up so i could take a look at it again to make sure I was ready to make my final decision. I have bought a lot of cars and I have never had a salesman treat me as great as Tim.

I found an Impala online and stopped in the dealership to take a look. The car had been sold earlier in the day but Aaron took my information and said he would let me know if anything came in. Two days later he contacted me about another Impala that was at another Jeff Schmitt dealer. That one didn't work out but I went back to the Fairborn dealership to see what else he had. He was absolutely wonderful!! He was prepared and knew exactly what I was looking for. I don't have the best credit but ended up with a 2012 Impala that I love. We got charged for things that we didnt agree to purchase. According to sales manager these we things that they discussed with salesman but they never happened between ourselves and salesman. The car was motortrend certified, so why do I need to purchase extended warranty. The charged us for 5 years of extended warranty without our knowledge of it untill we went home after being at dealership for 5 hours and looked at paperwork. After purchasing vehicle good luck on getting ahold of anyone if you problems. We had to drive 30 minutes each way on 3 different occossions to get paperwork corrected.

The salesman was someone we knew and he got us a very good price on the car. However the sales area was substandard with a bad leak in the ceiling. Also today after having the car for less than 24 hours I noticed a puddle of oil under the car. The oil pan drain bolt gasket was shot, and the car drips oil from the drain plug, so I need to replace that. Seems the dealer should have know the car was leaking oil. Also, the previous owner failed to give up both keys when she traded this one in, and the dealer only had the "secondary" key which will not allow one to get into the trunk! So only after we found this out did the dealership contact the prior owner and obtain the "main" key to the vehicle as well as documentation of major maintenance. They were prepared to sell the car without including the "main" ignition key. How do they do that?? Otherwise the salesman did a great job of getting the price reduced and was very clear about the paperwork.

I found myself in the market for a new car, so I went close by my house to Jeff Schmitt to look at prices on a Cruze. I was given all the information I asked for in a timely manner and was very impressed with Tyler (the salesman) and Jamie (the sales manager) on both their knowledge AND their attitude! On 10/08/2012, I stopped at Jeff Schmitt's Fairborn Location. After looking at the inventoy outside, I stopped to look in the showroom. I was immediately greeted by "Ian Hanks" and he said if he could help in any way just to let him know. He didn't try to pressure me in any way during my visit. Every vehicle on the showroom floor caught my attention. The showroom was exceptionally prepositioned with the best of the inventory. I stopped at every vehicle to compare prices and equipment. Then a Camaro SS, caught my eye. I asked "Ian Hanks" to run some numbers for me against my trade. "Ian Hanks" went the extra effert on my behalf to dot the "i" and cross the "t" for everything I expected in the transaction. I even asked him for $3000.00additonal for my trade based on very low mileage on my vehicle. "Ian Hanks" worked with the sales manager to get me the additonal $3000.00 for my trade. AT NO TIME WAS I PRESSURED BY IAN HANKS INTO A DEAL THAT WOULDN'T WORK FOR ME. "Ian Hanks" displayed a professional mirrored reflection of the dealers customer service experience and goals. I am a retired military veteran, so I know what honor and integrity is, and how I want to be treated."Ian Hanks" will sell me my next vehicle. You know how when you are in the market for an affordable car and the moment your foot hits the parking lot, throngs of salesmen come running at you to make you feel like the daily dinner special? My boyfriend and I were out looking for a new Chevy Traverse and we were lucky enough to be GREETED like people instead of "Just another easy mark" by Tim B. I can't remember his last name (lost his business card). Anyway he took the time and effort to give us just enough space to look around and feel comfortable. When we needed answers to our infinite amount of questions, he presented the information in words that even I can understand and I am not very mechanically inclined. I am a military transplant and currently in grad school and we felt very good about our experience. I suspect we will be back after we get a few bills paid off. I received a letter in the mail about the need for used Avalance so I asked the wife if she wanted to go look at new cars as we had the truck for 7 years and all the warrenties were expired and seven years with no major maintenance other then oil changes and new battery and tire rotations I thought it best to get a new car with all the warrenties so I could feel at ease. (things are tight)an just a little expense would be hard. We had a real good experince with the sales person Joshua Long. After researching a possible purchase online I was ready for the visit to the dealer. I found myself at Jeff Schmidt North in Fairborn. They were not the closest dealer to me but looking online I found they had the largest selection of Camaro around. For me, my first visit was more for informationn the car and the dealership. I was about 15 minutes before closing time when I arrived. After browsing for a minute I was met with a kind smile and handshake. Ian Hanks introduced himself to me and asked what he could do to help. I explained I was interested in a Camaro and was looking for information. We spent the next 30 or so minutes (well after closing time) walking around to the different models where he would explain the differences and show some of the features. I liked that he listened to what I was saying and was providing me the information I needed to make my decision. I did not buy anything on that visit but I knew I found the right person to do business with at the dealership. The next visit I did make that purchase from Ian. I would also like to say the team around Ian was all very pleasant to speak with. I have purchased several new vehicles in the past and I can honestly say this was my best experience from sales to signing on the dotted line. Thank you Ian and everyone else.

Even through I'm just starting my used car search and I am not in the position to buy this very second, I can tell you I will be buying from this dealership. This is not my first car buying experience and have been to many dealerships in the area and I can confidently say that Jeff Shimitt is above the rest. Everyone hates that pressure pitch when buying a car and I felt none of that here. From being approached on the lot, to test drive, to running the numbers, Alex Adair helped me throughout. I consider myself a car guy and hate when I know more about the car I'm looking at than the guy trying to sell me the car by reading the window sticker. The dealer is kinda like an auto mall haveing all kinds of makes and models new or used. The dealer made the first contact and sent me a mailing. Sheun asked me what I wanted and did color mater and from there he took the ball and ran with it. He did some prilemenary before we found a car his ground people got it out, we went for a ride we deceided on that very car and he took the ball and ran with it while offering me refreshments and conversation to keep me comfortable. My overall experience with Jeff Schmitt Chevy was a great one. The staff was utmost professional and extremely friendly and understood my needs/concerns as an out of state buyer. As an out of state buyer, communication is key and Jeff Schmitt always made sure to answer all my questions and provide all information that I needed. As far as pricing, the price I paid was pretty much the price I saw online, which they said is heavily discounted. Personally after doing extensive amounts of research on buying my Corvette, the price offered by this dealership was one of the best prices Ive seen out there for the model and year & mileage. They stayed true & professional to me as a customer from the first phone call, till the moment I drove my new car out of their lot. They even called to check up on me, as they knew I had a long drive home to Pa from Ohio. I would absolutely recommend their business.

I purchesed a 2006 Chevy Aveo from the Jeff Schmitt Auto Group in Fairborn, Ohio the used car sales department. Alex Adaire was my salesman. This vehicle was not a "as is vehicle". I got the vehicle home and found out the passenger window doesnt work properly. I called the dealer right away and they want to charge me for this even though I only had the vehicle for 1 hour after I found the problem. Another note is you have to buy this personal assistant stupid thing that no one ever uses. STAY AWAY from this dealer unless you want to buy junk. I would like to say thanks for screwing service memebers, I hope that you were able to make enough money. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone! VERY MUCH NOT SATISFIED!!!!!

I understand that when you work for a car dealership it's hurry up and get the sale done then move on. We barely got thru the deal and he walked off. The process of closing the deal was easy and everyone involved treated me like royalty. I couldn't have asked for better service. Jeff Schmitt recently received a shipment of new 2013 60th anniversary vehicles and I was interested in quality service, understanding sales staff, ease of buying process, and getting a good price--Jeff Schmitt met this and more.I talked with Luke who took me through all the options available, all the details about pricing, and showed me several cars that met my wants. He had all the colors that I was interested in and these were equiped with the options I most admired. Luke didn't pressure me into a sale nor did he even ask if I was "ready to close a deal."I told Luke that I was only looking but planned to buy soon and this did not stop Luke from giving me the tour of the car--offering me a test drive and detailed information about delivery options. I left the dealer impressed but not yet ready to buy as I wanted to see what else was available in Western OH.I went to other dealers and all had cars that interested me but none gave me the personal attention as the staff at Jeff Schmitt. Although I worked with Luke, all the staff treated like royalty. The sales manager, the general manager, the administrative staff, and other salesmen all placed my needs first giving a whole new meaning to "the customer is always right." Great job by all.After visiting several dealerships, I went back to Jeff Schmitt as I felt completely comfortable with all the people there. We closed the deal within a day and I got a great price and was able to drive my new "Vette" home that same day.I also want to commend Angela who handled all the "paperwork." Angela, the business manager, did a great job in streamlining the buying process. But more importantly, she called me the next day to let me know that the credit union I used for financing called them to offer a lower rate--even after I had already closed the deal. Of course, who wouldn't want a lower rate so I went back to Jeff Schmitt and Angela had everything ready for me to sign and within five minutes, I had a lower interest rate (and correspondingly lower payments) because Angela and the entire Jeff Schmitt has the customer's best interest in mind.I can't say enough about how well I was treated and how well the entire staff took care of my needs. Great job by all but especially by Luke and Angela who I interacted with the most. Everyone was great that we delt with in person. Doug was very friendly and Angela (I think that was her name in finance) was fantastic too. They both stayed late to finish up all of the paperwork and we did not feel rushed. Prior to coming in we were dealing with Holly in internet sales and was not too impressed with her though. It took 3 emails to get her to answer questions that I had, she kept telling me that those questions would be addressed when I came in even when I told her I wasn't coming until she answered them. She then told me that I had to put down a $500 non refundable deposit to hold the vehicle until I got there! Found out later this was not true. I almost did not come in because of her.

When I first went to the chevorlet dealership the sales man (Luke Tenny) that approached me almost ruined everything. He was rude and interrupted me everytime I spoke. So I then went to the mazada dealership where I met Jeff Nicholas and turned the whole day around. He was friendly and very personable. After doing some research online I located a vehicle that I was interested in at Jeff Schmitt. I drove about 2 1/2 hours to see the vehicle and take it for a test drive. Upon my arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting Seth Green. He was very friendly and low pressure. As a female, I have had many bad experiences with car purchases in the past. I can assure you that did not happen with Seth. I felt that he was very honest with his answers and the price on the vehicle I purchased and the one I traded in were more than fair. He even went so far as to stay 2 hours after the dealership was closed on Easter weekend to complete the deal -- saving me a trip back over.

Jim and Kelley were both very patient with us. We needed a bigger car but still owed on our current car. We looked at SUVs, left and came back to see what they would give us for our current car. After Jim did the numbers the payment was a little over what we wanted to pay so he went back to his manager and got the price of the SUV lowered another thousand dollars! It was late afternoon and Kelley was calling anyone still open to get us approved but all answers were no. She started making calls the very next day and thanks to her hard work got us approved for enough to get the SUV we so very much needed. She stayed later to finish up all of our paperwork and explain everything we were signing.

If you do not have a high credit score, and do not wish to put alot of money down, the sales representative will not only NOT take the time to explain why there's a need to put more money down, but will also NOT even take the time to call you back.I had initially contacted this dealership via the internet and a salesperson contacted me via the phone. I had explained that I was interested in a used car, in a certain price range, and was hoping to put as little as I could down, and also wanted to keep my monthly payment within a certain range as to keep it within my budget. I mentioned a specific vehicle they had listed at the time, and had already ran the figures (the advertised price) by a loan officer through my personal bank, who gave me some idea what amount I would need to put down, showed me what interest rates to expect with my current credit score, and about what monthly payments to expect. The sales rep from this dealership NEVER even called me back. This dealership advertised 'good credit, bad credit, we'll help you get into a car'. NOT TRUE!!!

I had a wonderful experience working with Luke Tenney and Jack Emrick at Jeff Schmidt Chevy in Fairborn. Luke patiently and accurately answered my numerous questions (this was my first experience ever buying a new car). I was able to check out multiple models on the lot and ended up zoning in on two cars in particular; Chevy Sonic hatchback and sedan. I was able to take both out for test drives and ultimately chose the sedan. I am in love with my new car! Jack Emrick, like Luke, was extremely patient in answering all of my finance questions and figuring out how much to put down to get specific monthly payments. I cannot count how many times I asked him to do this. Both Luke and Jack treated me like I was a priority and both displayed a strong knowledge of the Chevy models, comparisons with other makers, finances, etc. I never felt like I was pushed to make a decision and both gave honest, unbiased answers to my questions. I would highly recommend for people in the market for a car to check out Chevy Fairborn and these salesmen in particular. Look into Chevy....you get a lot more bang for your buck than other makers!

We had a great experience working with Seth. We went into the lot (NOT thinking of buying), to look at small suvs like the equinox or traverse. We had a growing family and we needed the room. But I wasn't ready to give up my pick-up. Seth then showed me a certified 2008 4 door Z71. They gave an offer on my pick-up I could not refuse, not to mention the unbeatable price on the 2008 truck. Seth was very helpful and knowledgeable. He had went over the whole vehicle and set up onstar and xm radio. He even allowed us to take the truck home over night to help us in our decision. I would to send a THANK YOU AND A TESTOMONIAL to Kelly Grody in the financial department. I am one of those buyer's that's not interested in adding anymore exspence to the bottom line of the purchase price of a new car but in this case Kelly was so knowledgeable of the advantage of adding a extended warranty and the Easycare program that Jeff schmitt offers. I was always the one that thought i would never use this crap. Well i have had my new Silverado for 4 months and already have lost a set of keys, Stopped by service with my Easycare card and in 30 minutes i had a new fob and key. If i had to pay it would of been $204.00. This is why they say use it once and it pays for itself. I'm a believer now, I have roadside assistance, dent coverage, key replacement, etch's glass and several other things that really make you feel as there's nothing that could go wrong that's not covered. As a satisfied costomer i will always be back to Jeff Schmitt for future purchases and sure hope Kelly can be the closer. We decided to give Jeff Schmitt a shot. We were immediately welcomed by Robert, who we felt was very honest with us upfront regarding our credit situation. He took our information and got with the Finance Manager Kelley. Kelley was able to get us approved for the exact terms I was looking for, down payment and monthly payment. Robert and Kelley stayed late after closing to finish up all the paperwork with us. We are very appreciative of their help, and we love our new car!

There is no proof that there was anything even done . As far as I can tell the overpriced technician didn't even get out his expensive tools . He just stated that the problem could be spark plugs .I don't recommend this dealership Jeff Schmitt and my family, friends and self will not be going back . in my opinion they have poor customer service and dishonest practices. So if you want to spend $100 just for them too look at your car and you tell what it could be. Then want too charge $250.00 too change just spark plugs. This is your place. GOOD LUCK! I know better mechanics and dealerships.

I bought a new Equinox this summer. Within 10 mi from leaving the parking lot with my new car, the warning light for tire pressure came on. I returned to service department next day and was told they just forgot to calibrate pressure guages when the tires were switched (pulled low profiles tires from another vehicle to put on mine the day I bought it) which seemed plausable. Every 2-3 weeks, however, the pressure warning light keeps coming on for the same tire (driver front) and we keep putting air in it. No problem, slow leak, I just put more air in it, HOWEVER, the last time I it was low (27lbs) the warning light did NOT go off. NOW, Im concerned as Ive been driving on it low and the warning system failed. I came into the service bay 12/12/11, explained the ongoing issue with the tire pressure in the drivers side front tire AND the fact that the warning failed to go off the last incident and I wanted both the tire and the warning system checked. I told them at least 2X which tire exactly it was. After some time in the bay, the service manager came to me explained they werent able to find a problem with the tire or gauge and asked me again if I was having to put air in it or what was my problem. I again, explained to him about the repeated tire issue in the driver front tire since the day I drove it off the lot and also the warning failure the last time it happened. Maybe 30 min later, he sent someone else to tell me, "Bad news, we found a nail in the tire and it cant be fixed". I was upset to say the least since he had just come out and told me no problem could be found. I asked for my paperwork, walked over to the sales dept and asked to speak to whoever was in charge. I was sent the very same service manager who initially told me no problem could be found. He explained that at the initial time he spoke to me, they hadnt recorded WHICH drivers side tire it was, front or back, and he was just inquiring to figure out what my issue actually was. He actually had looked at both the drivers side tires at that time and wasnt sure which tire was in question. He stated that he would be happy to show me the nail. (Why would you not record the tire on the service order when I came in and specified which tire I wanted checked? Why tell me you couldnt find anything wrong with the tire or guage if youre just clarifying what you want to check?) I explained that at this point, after telling me they found no problem and coming back later and saying there was, I had no doubt a nail was there by NOW, not to bother, give me my paperwork so I could leave. I then took the paperwork to Grismer tires to have it checked to see if it indeed could be plugged or not, they examined the tire and could find NO nails in the documented tire recorded on Jeff Schmitts paperwork (tire with the slow leak), however they did find one in the tread of the rear passenger tire. Grismer advised before I purchased possibly 2 (?) new tires, that I should return to Jeff Schmitt, speak to him personally, and see if the situation couldnt be rectified as he felt Jeff was an honorable guy. I did just that. I went directly back to Jeff Schmitts from Grismer at 4:30 to speak to speak to Jeff, ran into my salesman who got his SALES manager who spoke to the SERVICE manager again, who then explained when he wrote it up, there was most likely a miscommunication as to which tire had the nail and his service tech was gone for the day to confirm the miscommunication. The SALES manager recommended that I bring the car back to confirm no nail in front driver side per your service order. Well the trust is gone. I dont trust them to examine it AGAIN for the third time. So..after a full day in service bays, Im now looking at going to Grismer to replace 1-2(?) new $250 low profile tires with 3000 miles on them, going to different chevrolet dealer and having the pressure guage valve examined.... AND I have discovered I have absolutely no tire warrantee info in my new owners packet regarding the expensive tires put on my car the day I bought it.......AND I have yet to speak one word to Jeff Schmitt. In essence, the sales department was great, but dealing your subsequent service issues....you are on your own from my experience.

I called Robert Elswick at Jeff Schmitt Chevy early in the morning, and discussed some Silverados I had seen on the website. He got back to me very quickly with some numbers. I decided to visit the dealership to look at some trucks in person. Robert put his lunch aside and spent the rest of his day helping me to find the Silverado with the options I wanted, at a price I could afford. He really went above and beyond to make sure I left the dealership a happy customer. I have dealt with Robert before, so I know this is normal operating procedure, and not just someone having a good day. I have and will continue to refer people to Robert and Jeff Schmitt Chevy.

Ryan and the sales manager Mark worked out a good sales package for me. No high pressure tactics, each employee that handled transaction were cordial, efficent and professional. First of all customer srvice is horrible. If you call the dealership number, they ask what store and what associate, then they transfer you to then wrong department which transfers you back to the central line anyways, this cycle is continuous. If you can't figure out how to operate your OWN phone service how can you expect a customer to trust your ability to sell or service a vehicle? I finally made my way to the dealership and started working with a salesman who abruptly left me hanging to deal with his uncle. This caused me to be transferred to another salesman and we had to start the process over again from scratch, only to find out that the information that was provided on-line for the vehicles was completely outdated and inaccurate. I arrived at the dealership with 2 other appraisals for my vehicle from other dealerships and your company completely slapped me in the face with a ridiculous offer. In the end we were close to agreeing on a price and I couldn't get a solid answer or decision from anyone because it was nearly 3 hours later and my credit was still not checked to even ensure the finance charges I could be promised. I left the dealership and was told that everything would be worked out by the time I came back at 3 to start paperwork and pick up the car. I left not knowing what the payment would have been or any other information for that matter. This allowed me to call a competitor in the local area who WOWed me with perfect customer service and sales ability. I was guaranteed a price over the phone that beat your price by over $10 dollars a month in payments. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted and taken care of by the same salesman and ultimately ended up with an even better deal when the information was processed and my car was appraised (by the way they didn't insult me and gave me exactly what I was asking for my trade). I ended up saving over a thousand dollars by going to this dealer and they even threw in maintenance for 2 years and dealer incentives. To boot, the whole process took only 2 hours with all of the paperwork where your dealership took over 3 hours of total mass confusion and no concrete answer. I am proud to say that I am the owner of a brand new 2012 Chevy Malibu from one of your competitors and will gladly recommend their dealership to all of my friends and NOT yours.

I was given a very fair train-in on my 2004(metal) Saturn Vue, and an excellant price adjustment on the 2011 Equinox. More than was offered on the internet. The only area where I wasn't happy with; was the financing of all the Service Contracts that they apply to the loan!Couple Disappontment was; First I showed up to sign the Paperwork with a Schedule Time, the Vehicle was still at a Different Dealership,myself and the saleswoman had to go pick up the vehicle, when in fact the car was suppose to be ready and repaired at the schedule appointment. I spent 2.5 Hours, when in fact it should only have been 1.5 Hours.Second, when I took the Vehicle back for the repairs, no Loaner Car was provided, reason given was that the car came from a different dealership and all three dealerships should have the SAME Procedures when purchasing a vehicle!I also wanted to mentioned when I was there around April 28, 2011 looking for a New Car, I Stood in the New Car Sales Lobby for over 30 Mins. and No Salesman even acknowledge that I was even there to look at a car.When I showed up at the Mitibushi Dealership, before I even got out of my Vehicle Stephanie was right there waiting to discuss my needs for a Vehicle.The Best Part is I got the Vehicle I wanted, and that is the Most Important!All in alL in I would give the Dealership a B+ on A-F Scale!

I had to sell a car I loved because of a hip replacement--the car was too low and too small. I'm not that old and I was not happy having to find a new car. I had to get in and out of cars and went to many many dealerships trying to find a car that would work. I left my name and what I needed with every dealership I tried (at least 14 of them). Butch Compton of Jeff Schmidt Chevy was the only one who even bothered to try to help. He kept in touch by email and phone. He did not intrude or bother me but whenever he saw a car that might work, he called, ran the information by me and checked to see if it was worth a trip (we live quite a ways away from there) to come and see it. In the meantime I was watching online and found 2 cars to try at Jeff Schmidt Mazda in Beavercreek. We called Butch and he sent us over to try them out. One was a shot in the dark and one we were very interested in. The one we were interested in was sold but the shot in the dark turned out to be the perfect car. Jesse Tenney helped us out and worked with Butch on the sale. I love my new car and I loved the service. For one thing they were are very respectful to women. And they all worked together instead of competing with each other. They cared about my being happy and even the loan officer (whose name was Schmidt) worked hard to get me the loan I wanted. I will be going back and I have already recommended them to my friends. We had a totally positive experience at Jeff Schmitt Auto Group in Fairborn. We had already done our homeowork and had narrowed our search down to the Chevy Equinox. Our USAA buying service had pinpointed a few dealershops in the area that had a few Equinox and we obtained the internet price before we ever went up there. We thought we were just going to check out their inventory and probably would have to order what we wanted.We had made an appointment so when we arrived we were greeted by Marty, the sales manager. Ryan, our salesman, was knowledgable and very helpful as we test drove the Equinox that we were considering. It had everything on it we wanted and the price was right so we stayed and traded in our truck and drove the vehicle home. Kelly, the Queen of Finance, was with another customer so we waited for her to finish up and then she guided us thru the financing part of our new vehicle. Marty, Ryan and Kelly stayed until 11 PM to help us close the deal. What at team. Thank you so much.

Even though Jesse works within a different division of the Jeff Schmidt Auto Family, he discussed our choices and ended up going from the Mazda dealership to the Chevy dealership to help us. My husband and I ended up buying a Colbolt and Jesse was just as knowledgeable about our choice as he would have been any of the Mazdas that he typically sells.
