Yassy was great when we went in the first night. She did not pressure us at all but showed us all the inventory she had. She left us alone to talk while she found a key so we could see some of the optional features. We fell in love with one truck and then left to go home to talk ourselves into it. The next day when I returned mike was great as Yasmin was out that day. He took care of everything.I drove home in my great new truck that night. We drove it to Gainesville, about 2.5 hours away on business Saturday and it runs like a dream. Couldn't be happier with the vehicle and the purchase experience. So there was no pressure to buy "add-ons" in the business office as with many other dealers.

I just picked up a Jeep Trail Hawk for my son today and it was one of the best car experiences I have had in over two decades. Brian Johnson was my consultant, and I say consultant because he asked all the right questions. He helped me build the car I wanted, kept me up to date on its delivery (which was on time) and finished today with a phenomenal overview of the vehicle to my son. Came to Jerry Ulm on a whim, and boy am I glad I did. I was immediately greeted by Brian and he escorted me over to the used car sales lot. As we explored the options it started to become apparent that they didn't have anything that suited my needs exactly. As I was telling Brian I'm going to head down the road he asked me to wait one second while he checked the cars that hadn't been processed through the shop before sale. To my excitement there was a freshly traded Ford Fusion that was fully upgraded and right in my price range. We test drove it. I enjoyed the cad even more and was ready to talk price. The initial price was so low that I almost didn't feel the need to negotiate. After short time I was able to get an even more fair price and walked away with the agreement that the car is mine after they process it through the shop and clean it and such. A few days later I get a call that my car is ready. Upon arriving to the dealership I was told they put 4 new tires on the car for me and fixed the open recall that hadn't been addressed as of yet. When all was said and done Jerry Ulm was great to me and my first actually enjoyable car buying experience. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I drive a 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8 and am looking to make a change. Stopped by this dealership to checkout a Challenger SRT. Tyler was quick come out and point me in the direction of the only one on the lot. I asked for a test drive and Tyler stammers through some nonsense about having to check to see how many miles are on it and goes to check with "the manager". A few minutes later he comes back out and asks if I would be willing to fill out a credit app. Really? This is the first time I've ever been asked that to take a test drive.I'm also looking at a Tesla Model S - not only was Tesla happy to schedule a test drive with nothing more than my driver's license, they put me in a loaded P90D (highest model available) even after I let them know I was only interested in the 70. This is not the first bad experience I've had at Jerry Ulm. While looking for a new mid-size SUV for my wife two years ago, we dealt with a salesman who couldn't have been more full of it, playing all the typical car salesman games.I thanked Tyler for his time and asked him to make sure he let his manager know they lost a fairly certain sale.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! Several weeks ago my check engine light came on so of course I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to Jerry Ulm as this is where I purchased the vehicle. Turns out I needed to have a cylinder head replaced on the engine, which in itself was disturbing since my Jeep is only two years old. Anyway, despite a few minor annoyances with the staff there, everything seemed ok and I got my car back 6 days later. A couple of days after that, my husband was washing my car when he noticed some pretty significant damage to the front of my car. When they repaired my car, they obviously damaged it and didn't even tell me. Not only did they not tell me, but they tried to cover it up by painting over it...not even in the right color of paint. (I can provide photos) There was even some damage under the hood but since most people won't ever see I didn't make an issue of it. But what this tells me is that they could care less about my vehicle or anyone else's vehicle. And that if they do mess up, the will not confess. I understand that nobody is perfect and accidents happen. And if they had told me about the damage and offered to fix it, then you wouldn't be reading this now. But they didn't. They have since repaired my bumper but to this day, I have not received an explanation, an apology or even a phone call to see if everything is ok! That is why I am posting...to warn my Tampa area friends to stay away from Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep! I could say more, but I am going to exercise some restraint here. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...let's just leave it at that. I will not be going back there. I deserve better!

I moved to Tampa a few years ago, and have never found a good mechanic locally. I also purchased a Jeep from another dealership. Here's why Jerry Ulm is number 1 for servicing Jeeps. I had an issue which noone could get right. I spent more money on issues not related to the problem. Took it back to EXTREME JEEP, where I purchased it and they wanted to charge for issues not even related. They priced me out at nearly 3200.00 for repair. I only had it for a month. I took it to Jerry Ulm for second opinion. They followed up with me every second of the way. The issue , loose wires connected to the transmission. No where even close to what I was quoted at by extreme. This place has earned my trust and now my business. Everyone down to the owner are true professionals. Don't believe the bad reviews. It's not even close. Try it, you will see.

I went in knowing what I wanted because I did some online searching there was Bob who answered all my online questions and scheduled me to come in and another man Tim who was so kind to show me the cars the day before I was scheduled to come in because I was so excited and couldn't wait even in the drizzle of rain! And then Dennis was scheduled for the test drive of the vehicles with me. I gave him a price range and how much I can afford he did his best to match as closely as he could my needs given my circumstances and he made it happen. I was expecting to leave with my new vehicle but Dennis went above and beyond and gave me so much more then what I was expecting for no additional cost! He took his time and was so friendly and what I valued most was that this dealership didn't have the salesman's that practically breathe down your neck at no point did I ever have anyone hoovering me to get a sale. Overall Dennis was friendly patient respectful diligent and his customer service rocks. Not only would I recommend this dealership I would recommend Dennis he is awsome to do business with and really puts the customer first I mean he really went above and beyond!

My wife and her sister came here after a negative experience at another dealer. I am extremely happy to see this dealer did not try to take advantage of either one of them after what we'd been through to get a fair deal on a vehicle. Dave was able to get the deal on both a Cherokee and a Renegade that was to the liking of both of them. At the end of the day everyone got what they wanted and the transactions were painless!Dave was friendly and laid back. No pressure from him or the finance department when it came to trying to sell extras. He answered all questions and concerns effectively and was knowledgeable on all the products. The experience was truly a positive one. While my wife and her sister may be easy to please, I admittedly am not and I could say that this was a first rate experience that most if not all dealerships could learn from.

I had a wreck in My 2000 Jeep Cherokee. I took it to the dealer and it took over a month to repair. When I got it back the front end was falling apart. So I took it back and over the next few months, they would say it was fixed but it was not. Finally out of frustration I found a mechanic to check it out and he found the problem right away. So I paid him and went pack to the dealer with the report. They did not listen to me when I told them what the problem was. They called me back and told me, tough luck, it was not their concern, that they had done all they were going to do. So, after this review and you take your vehicle there for repair. don't say I did not warn you

Easiest buying process I have ever been through! Found what I wanted online, submitted an inquiry and got a followup from the Internet sales Manager, Bob Potter. Exchanged a few emails and phone calls while getting financing set up (which only took a few hours) then went down to the dealership the next morning. Test drove the Ram truck and found some slight damage on the back. Without a blink, Bob found another one on the lot that was nearly identical but had a few upgrades. He arranged to get me the slightly upgraded Ram at the same price, and without haggling, got my payment right to where I wanted it. Sent it off to be detailed while I signed all the paperwork and was out the door in 2 1/2 hours from when I arrived. VERY SATISFIED! This is my 2nd RAM truck I have bought from Jerry Ulm, and will not hesitate to return when I am ready for another. Everyone I encountered was very helpful & friendly.

I have purchased a car there and had experience with service as well. My sales guy was Jordi and he is awesome. He is knowledgeable about their new cars (which is what I bought) but is a used car salesman. I liked him being able to compare other new cars to the Renegade I was looking at and his candor. He and his manager Jorge are honest, low-key, and easy to work with. I have also recommended people to the dealer's service department. One lady had a bad battery and was willing to pay to get it fixed but the serviceperson actually advised that she go to the Toyota dealership since her car was still under warranty and she could get it for free. Their vehicle acquisition manager called me and wanted my 2014 Jeep. I told him I was upside down on payments and it wouldn't be to my advantage to trade. He told me that they had numerous incentives at this time and to bring my car in and they would help me. My wife and I went in and after choosing a new car, they were going to roll over nearly $10,000.00 into the loan of the new car. Thanks for the help. They are just interested in selling, no matter how bad of a deal it is for the customer.

My wife and I did our research on the web to find the specific car we wanted, we came up with a few dealerships that all had the style we were looking for, the prices were all pretty much the same. We took the day and were shopping around. I called Dave and told him the exact car I wanted. I also told him I would buy it in the next two days. He gave me initially the lowest price. Dave was in constant contact over the next two days giving me updates and reliable information through text, email, and phone calls. He ended up being able to offer me $500 less than the lowest offer which was already low. Dave was up front and was never pushy or trying to sell me something I wasnt comfortable with. The car ending up being detailed twice due to his high standards. He has promised to fix the pin stripping and make a new key (one was missing) and sand out a bit of surface rust on a screw. We went through the internet department to get a deal on a new truck. We arrived at a fair price for the new truck and used Black Book through this dealership's site to value our trade. Went to the dealership and was told that Black book said it was worth $4500 less than what Black book through their own site said. What a con! Our vehicle was in great shape and had a new battery, new tires and several other items not even considered in the Black book valuation. I wasted a week of research only to waste my time.

I always use Jerry Ulm Dodge in Tampa even know I live in Valrico and hears why. I made and appointment for Monday for my 2012 Jeep Jk and they took it right in to assess the problem. They told me it was a bad drivers side head and it would be two to three days. Brian Cummings did all he could to make sure I was taken care of. He got me a rental car right away.On Wednesday morning it is ready and you can't even tell they tore my motor apart. I took pictures before hand of the motor and then after. Besides the shiny new head everything is in it's place. All wires and hoses are right back like they were from the factory.The best part is it runs better than new. So a big thanks to Jerry Ulm and Brain Cummings (service righter) for a great experience with there repair!!!!

I have been a customer of Jerry Ulm Dodge since I purchased my 2006 Dodge Durango at your dealership. On December 12, 2014, I took my 2006 Dodge Durango to the Jerry Ulm Dodge dealership because my vehicle was experiencing some problems. It was making a loud ticking sound, and was leaking all of the coolant. I explained this to the service representative and even turned the vehicle on so that he could hear the sound it was making. I also informed him that I wanted an oil change. My car was taken in and after some time I was informed by Donald Baker that the problem was that the overflow container for the coolant was cracked. He also, said that I needed a battery. I told him to go ahead and perform his suggested services. I paid a total of $650.13 at that time, which was outlandish, but I figured that if it would fix the problem, then so be it. It did not fix the issue, so I brought the car back approximately two days later and I was told that the only thing wrong was that the radiator cap had to be replaced, so I agreed to have it replaced. This cost me another $50. Two days later I was still hearing the ticking sound, this time it was noticeably louder. At this point, I had lost all trust in Jerry Ulm Dodge and was disappointed in how my services were handled, and after spending $700.13 at your dealership's service department, my car was still having the SAME issues, as when I first brought my car in. I have always held Jerry Ulm Dodge's services above average, but my frustration led me to take my car to McGee's Auto Service, and I am glad I did. The personnel at McGee's Auto Service found that the problem was actually the water pump. This cost me another $550, because of your service department's misdiagnosis. So, what should have been completed correctly the first time around by your dealership's service department, ended up costing me a grand total of $1,250.13, because of your dealership's inability to diagnose and service YOUR own vehicles properly.Do you think that this is fair to me as a Jerry Ulm Dodge customer? I think not. Would I purchase another Dodge vehicle or service from Jerry Ulm Dodge? I give a resounding NO! Because, it's not the ideal product or service that I originally thought. Lastly, would I recommend Jerry Ulm Dodge to my friends, family or co-workers. Again NO, I would not. Your inventory and services are a reflection of your dealership, as well as your management, and this is something that needs to be reviewed, addressed and corrected.

The sales person Mike Gero is honest, helpful and friendly. We agreed on a good price for a new Cherokee. The next day we came into the dealership, the car is there, just cleaned and waiting for us. Mike took us to the rental company to return our rental car, and an hour later we are happy driving our new Cherokee home. Since the other key of the car can't be found by them, we requested one from our local dealer, and after a couple days, the refund check from Jerry Ulm arrived. No hassle.

This has been by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had!! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone! The salesman didn't know what he was doing and knew nothing about the vehicle we were leasing. We had to go back to the dealership 5 times to resign paper work we had already sign when we leased the car. I understand they don't register vehicles in a different state every day, as we are military and are able to do this, but being in Tampa and having a huge military base here they should know how to do this! We bought a different vehicle in Virginia and registered it in a different state with no problem. We leased the vehicle 2 months ago and are still receiving letters requiring us to submit information we have already given the dealership numerous times and have still not received our plates! I have had to return twice for temporary tags. I like the vehicle it's just unfortunate the dealership is so incompetent!

Went in for a $300 tail light problem this place tried to make it $3000 worth of other problems we never asked to be looked at. told car would be in service for one day still 5 days with no car no phone call no messages no apologies! when I asked where my car was and what was going on told I was being negative manager Shane was a complete nightmare to work with. had to fight and argue to get my bill reduced they ordered extra parts and replaced things that were never asked to do. stay away from this place they are a complete fraud..

I spoke to a lot of dealers on the phone after shopping online, and when I found a car I liked at a good price at Jerry Ulm Dodge I lucked into working with John-Kevin Dolce. He was so polite and helpful over the phone I drove from Tallahassee to Tampa to look at the car, bought it on the spot with little negotiation or hassle. When the A/C stopped working two weeks later, they took care of it despite the fact I did not have a warranty on the car (it was a used 2004 Honda Accord). They even gave me a loaner so I could get to work while it was repaired. I have bought a few cars from dealerships in the past, and this was the best experience I have had by far.

Absolute worst experience I have ever had buying a car. No negotiation in price. I have been buying cars for 30 years and have never once not been able to work with a sales person to get the car to a reasonable price and this goes for Acura, BMW, Infiniti, Toyota and all the American made automobiles. Perhaps they thought because I am a woman I would accept anything the offered. WRONG. My credit is excellent and I had 15,000 to put down and finance the rest (which was already bank approved). They refused to run my DEBIT card to get the 10,000 out of one account and I was writing a check for the other 5,000. They insisted they could not incur the fees. Really?? Fees on Debit purchases are typically zero or very little. Left the lot completely amazed they would lose a sale over this. Of course they called after I am back in Pinellas county and said they could run the card for a maximum of 5K. Well you told me before you had "NO wiggle room", We drove to Crown Eurocars in St. Pete and purchased a jeep that day with NO issues from them. The jeep was much nicer, lower miles and customer service was excellent. Everything happens for a reason and the the HORRIBLE experience at Jerry Ulm worked out in my favor. Avoid this dealership.

Jeremy Best the internet manager got in touch with me promptly after submitting a request for information on the vehicle I was interested in. When I arrived at the dealership he had the Jeep Cherokee parked in front of the dealership and ready for me to test drive. Bernardo Huerta was my sales consultant and did an excellent job of demonstrating and explaining all of the vehicle features to me before during and after the test drive. The process of trading in my 2007 Jeep Liberty for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee was made simple and straightforward and I felt appreciated as a loyal customer. Dennis and Bob were both so helpful. Bob helped us build and order the jeep. Bob updated us every step of the way. Dennis went over all paperwork and showed us everything we needed to know about the jeep. Dennis would have sat there for 10 hours showing us how to work everything if we asked him to. My sales person was a fraud and so was the finance guy (who tried to cheat me out of better financing). this is my second visit, on the first they worked on my right fog light. they had to remove the bumper but failed to fully re-secure it on the left side. so during this second visit I asked that it be fully secured and also an oil change and rotate my tires. Brian told me that my vehicle was damaged and they couldn't attach the bumper. He wanted to send me to the body shop to attached a plastic screw. Brian is a typical worm wiggling car lot representative with terrible people skills and does everything but satisfy the customer. I explained to him that the time to tell me of this type of damage was when you were working on my fog light/bumper the first time. They wouldn't rotate my tires claiming they needed my wheel lock and couldn't find it after I told them exactly where it was in my truck !! So after all this I only got an oil change. NEVER GOING BACK. I will do my best to spread my experience with others.

They each listened to what I had to say and didnt push anything on me. I went to the car dealership willing to leave without a car, but the quality of work their team did with me was fantastic. They helped me narrow down vehicle makes, models, price, features, etc..without making me feel like they were trying to push a sale on me.Their team even offered me a quiet area to make a few urgent, unforeseen business calls that came up during my vehicle buying process.I also would like to note that I spent several weeks looking at other dealerships, only to leave their dealerships feeling like I was being used and manipulated (even though I left without a vehicle from those other dealerships).Jerry Ulm's dealership was a breath of fresh air and I do really feel like a part of their family now.

I was looking for a specific set of options and style on a Ram 1500. I did this through the Ram website and Jerry Ulm was the dealer with the closest one. I live 200+ miles away and so it was all done through an initial phone call and follow up call with Bob Potter and Darren Lane respectively. It should be clearly noted that I bought this vehicle site unseen except a PDF of the window sticker. I think that says a lot for someone to spend significant money solely based upon phone calls and emails.Both were straight and to the point, timely in my request and quick response and due to my work I travel most of the week so they were happy to accommodate my travel by overnighting documents and include return overnight packages, set times according to my schedule when to talk and just overall professional.No waste of time, no slip ups in what was said to what was delivered.Great work.Use this dealership and these folks.

I bought a new 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 from Jerry Ulm Dodge on 10/22/13. I found the vehicle on their website and then called their Internet Sales Manager, Darren Lane to setup an appointment for a test drive. Darren was very responsive and sent me a detailed quote in an email even before I arrived so I could see all the features and have a ball park price in mind. When I arrived, Darren met with me to review my current truck for it's trade-in value and Mike Gero took me out for a test drive and to review the truck. Mike did a good job explaining all the features of the vehicle and answered all my questions. When I got back, Darren was able to work with me on the price and I feel like I got a good deal on the truck and on my trade. Also, while I was meeting with Darren, the owner of the dealership Jerry Ulm stopped by and personally introduced himself. The place felt very family-oriented and less stressful that other car dealerships I've dealt with. Working with the finance woman was easy and she had all the paperwork ready in a timely fashion. My overall experience was great and I'll be back for future maintenance and other vehicle purchases. I'd also recommend them to my family and friends.

This is the second purchase I have made with Jerry Ulm Jeep. I leased a Jeep in 2011 and when my lease was up I just picked up the phone and called Gordy Begley. I ordered a 2014 Dodge Ram in June. Although it was promised and expected in 6 weeks, the truck was not shipped. David Gonzales, VP of Sales, got involved, identified the delay (a pre-release recall) and then kept me updated on progress several times each week until the truck arrived. Although the delay caused me to escalate the problem, David was professional and competent in delivering my new RAM truck. Overall I was very pleased with my experience.

Darren Lane was very helpful and instrumental in getting the deal completed. The finance lady (Miriam) was very pleasant and helpful as well. The only part of the purchase I was unhappy with was the way in which a few minor paint nicks on the vehicle were handled. I brought the vehicle back a week later and they were "touched up". Although this looks ok I was expecting something a little better especially after spending $50,000 on a vehicle. Overall I am happy with the transaction and would probably refer someone to the dealership.

We were looking for a used Dodge Durango or Chrysler Aspen to tow our airstream trailer. We saw a vehicle online and came to look last week. The unit seemed in excellent mechanical condition and had it not been smoked in a great deal we would have bought it on the spot. I very much liked the very direct and straightforward way your dealership operates. The price quoted was very fair, much closer to the bluebook value of our trade in than any other place visited was offered for our trade in car, and the deal was quickly and clearly presented on a printed sheet of paper with all dealer fees, taxes, etc., already listed so that the first figure catching the eye was the walk out the door price and not some lower amount to which several thousand dollars would later be added. I do not know if you understand quite how unusual this is in the auto industry or how much it is appreciated but in future I will always shop Jerry Ulm first and advise all my family and friends to do the same. We wound up finding a suitable unit in Orlando and as our need was immediate purchased that SUV but the whole deal was much more stressful and I will never have the desire to return to that dealer. We will see you folks again!

When reviewing the documents for purchase, we saw for the first time that we were paying $1500+ for an option that we never opted for nor were ever approached with until then. I asked Chuck if it was an option and he verified it was. We requested to not have this added to our financing and that is when Larry came in very abruptly. I asked Larry the same question. He very rudely insisted that he was losing $700 and if we did not purchase the option, he would not sell us the vehicle and then stormed out of the office. (keep in mind the price that we agreed to pay was never disputed so if there was a loss- it was through no fault of ours). He was very unprofessional and very rude. I still don't know how I convinced my husband to stay after that.I just sat there in shock~ I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner. We never even received an apology. In this economy especially, the reputation of a sales-driven organization should pride itself on good customer service and should certainly treat it's customers with respect. The way Larry treated us was unprovoked and was sparked by a simple, calmly asked question.For these reasons, we would not refer anyone to Jerry Ulm Dodge. I could never in good conscious send someone I know to be subject to this kind of treatment.

I was completely disappointed in my last visit here. I have already purchased two Jeep vehicles over the past year and was looking at upgrading to another new vehicle. John Wieland has always been great to deal with. However, during the last visit, he was working out a deal with Gordy. Gordy was rude and condescending in the few minutes we actually spoke with him. Once he left, I mentioned it to John and was told "he is just having a bad day". This has made me consider other dealers in the area for my vehicle needs. I loved dealing with John as he has always been top notch. But, to blow off another person's poor behavior as having a bad day is ridiculous. I am sure I will not receive this type of treatment elsewhere.

We made it clear when we first came in that we wanted a Satellite Radio in the vehicle that we were purchasing. During the test drive we were told that we would receive a $500.00 check to purchase the radio, this is what sealed the deal. When we brought the van back in for it to be detailed and pick up our check we were told they could not do that. Well now we have a vehicle we are not happy with. Will never purchase another vehicle from Jerry Ulm and will not recommend them to anyone either. Wonder why car salesmans have such a bad reputation, it's due to the lies they tell to make a sale. You have lost a customer.Update to previous rating. We are still not happy with Mr. Gero & will not buy from him again, but kudos to the company for correcting the wrong. This is a good lesson in learning how to communicate and tell the truth even if you would have lost a sale.

My husband and I took several months to research and find the right first car for our son. We went from North Tampa to Brandon, Clearwater, and everywhere in between. When we finally decided on the Jeep that we purchased, it wasnt the awful experience that I feared. The finance manager from Buffalo was funny and helpful. I am absolutely thrilled with my experience buying a new Jeep Wrangler here this past weekend. I found a Jeep I was interested in online at their website, including lots of pictures and the window sticker. Darren, their internet sales manager, contacted me immediately upon my request. I showed up at the dealership at 4pm. Darren and Dennis worked with me right away. I went for a test drive, had my current vehicle appraised by them, dealt with the offer, arranged financing, signed the documents, and they had my new Jeep prepared for delivery. This all happened quickly, and I was home by 6:30pm to have drinks and dinner with friends. They were so helpful and friendly. Miriam in finance was terrific too. I LOVE my new Jeep. Jerry Ulm Dodge is a fabulous dealership! I had called Darren Lane inquiring about a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 I found online. He not only told me about the vehicle, he informed me that I could apply for financing online. This was great considering I live two hours south of the dealership. I explained to Darren that I would not be able to come up to see the car until my husband got off work which meant it would be six or so in the evening. Darren stated he was finished at five, but would wait for us to arrive. He kept in contact with me all day regarding any new information he needed or I needed to know. My husband and I arrived around seven and Darren was there waiting for us. We had spotted a different Grand Cherokee on the lot and asked to see it. At this point Jeremy was also helping us. We looked at and test drove both the new and used vehicles. In the end I decided to buy the used Grand Cherokee. It had everything a person could dream of in a car for the right amount of money. Darren spent all day and half the night working with us and in the end we left Jerry Ulm's with a beautiful (new to me) used Jeep Grand Cherokee! I would and plan on telling all my friends and family about Jerry Ulm and the GREAT staff they have. Everyone is friendly and make you feel at home and not at a car lot!Thank you Darren, Jeremy, John and everyone who made this experience a pleasant one. You are the best!

Dear Sir: On 7/23 I took my 41k mile 2003 Dodge Intergera to Jerry Ulm (invoice number DOCS744680) after my Nephew (mechanic with a shop in Tampa with over 30 years experience) told me that my computer was not sending a pulse to #1 cylinder. He said he could not fix the problem and that a dealer had the proper equipment to do the repairs. I took the car to Jerry Ulm (invoice number DOCS744680), my service manager was Brian Cummings, whom I told this to and stated that the coils were checked and new plugs were put into the car. He reported back saying that my Injector wiring harness is bad (has been previously repaired) and that it would cost thousands to find a used harness, have it installed and then this may not fix the problem. He also told me that the plugs were not gaped and that the coils were not new (true as I stated they were checked and put back). Your written report also says that the plugs are worn out and that I stated that there was a high pitch moan when pressing on the gas the car needs a main drive belt tensioner. Further, I was told that #1 and # 3 cylinders had low compression which Brian was concerned with. Brian recommendation was that I trade the car in and get a new one. As I could be putting in thousands of dollars and that even this may not fix all the problems.After Cummings comments I had my nephew call him to discuss these issues and he too was told that they believed the problem to be only the wiring harness. Further, that they were not going to test the computer until the wiring harness was first replaced. I again talked with Cummings and he assured me that it was the wiring harness. Told him I did not want him to do the repairs and that I would pick the car up the next day. I was concerned because I know that new plugs had been installed, had no drought that they were properly gaped and was concerned about the computer not functioning properly. Upon paying my bill I did not see where the computer was checked and told the cashier I was concerned as I had specifically asked for this and it was not none. She was kind enough to called Brian who told me that the computer was checked and was ok. I asked him then to so state this on the bill and he said he would. Once in his hand he looked at the bill said that it was on the bill because the computer was giving out all the codes. I repeated that he had not checked what I brought the car into the dealership for which was to see why the computer was not putting out a pulse to the #1 cylinder. He repeated that the computer was working fine. I paid the bill ask again to have the car brought out and left. With all due respect, I have the box from new plugs put into the car. I never complained about a high pitch moan. I have found the wiring harness at a cost of less than $500 instead of the Est $1,550 for the harness quoted by Brian. And feel that his double talk on checking the computer indicates it was not checked. I am a disabled Veteran and transportation is obviously very important to me. Truly, this Intrepid, while older - I purchased the car from the original owner last year, have all the service records and have maintained the car well (has had new breaks, tires, alignment etc. ) it is basically in really good condition. While I may factually need a new fuel injector wiring harness etc., I have lost confidence in work being done a Jerry Ulm and left with the feeling that Brian Cummings has made a blatant attempt to take a good vehicle that could be repaired and flipped, and priced the repairs to me so high that it induces the purchase a new car. I am truly disappointed.

From the start, Bob Potter assisted us with email inquiries and finance approval, He was not working the day I went in and advised Darren Lane would take over. Great personality and entertained my kids while still getting my info together. He introduced us to Nick who showed me 3 cars over 2 days, he is very personable, no pressure, answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make me happy. I would recommend him to anyone. Damon is a great service advisor and have been all the time very helpful, kind and always understand the issues. But Damon is not the problem, the problem are the tech's. My first unfortunate experience was a noise coming from the trunk every time the car start, they listen it and advise me of changing the fuel pump. Fuel pump was replaced and the noise is the same. Some high tech drove the car and said that he couldn't corroborate the humming noise. then the windows molding started to separate from the doors frame, they ordered a new set, I was told to leave the car at the dealer that day to replace it, around mid day I got a call saying that when they opened the box, the parts were all bend, so they had to order a new set. After 5 days the parts came and they replaced it.After that, the oil change was due, I went for an oil change and I was told that an alignment was needed, so I agree to it. Now if you keep the steering wheel centered it goes to the left, once again I was told that a tech drove it and it is ok, that I should try another long drive to make sure it is happening, well this 4th the July I drove it to Miami and still going pulling to the left. Now I'm waiting for my next oil change to see if they can understand what is happening. Once again, Damon is a great service advisor is not his fault.

This was a very pleasant buying experience. No pressure and we didn't feel like we were the prize in some kind of sales competition. Coming across the Bay was a good choice. Should have done this for our last two vehicles. Bryan, David, and the other sales staff were more than helpful even though I told them I was already working with another person. They answered all my questions and showed me features I was not aware of. This was much different than my last purchases in Seminole. I wanted a Dealer installed option here and it was done in a vary quick manor. Everyone at the dealership has exceeded my expectation. Another thing I'm not use to seeing is that everyone here is in a good mood and smiles.

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday (that just happened to be the last day of the month) on the way to another dealership for an appointment and met with John for a while. He was very very professional, no pressure, and worked with me to get me in what it was that I wanted - a 2014 Grand Cherokee... I was torn between the Limited model and the Overland and John not only didn't try to talk me into an upsale - but actually let ME make the decision. When it came to negotiating, the prices were on point and I really have to give a lot to this dealership in working on customer want, needs, and desire versus high pressure. Needless to say, after working with John for a few hours and talking with the Other dealership, the decision was easy. I got my shiny white souped up Overland and John got the sale. This place is friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. John spent tons of time going over the complex computer system and customizations of the Jeep and made this experience a great one. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Having recently moved to Tampa from New York City, it was imperative for my wife and I to purchase a car and cease wasting money on a rental. Having made a short list of several cars I was interested in, I stumbled upon Jerry Ulm Dodge via a search for Dodge dealerships on Google. I am not familiar with Tampa, nor was I referred to any dealerships by anyone. Luckily, Sales Consultant Kevin Ryan introduced himself to me as soon as I pulled into to the dealership. I appreciated his "no-pressure" approach as we test drove several different 2013 Chargers. He answered all my questions and thoroughly walked me through all the options and features of each model. He not only implored patience, but I found him quite the expert on automobiles. After a week and a half, I settled on the Charger and we negotiated a great price on a fantastic car. I not only highly recommend him, but will certainly keep in touch with him for any future purchases, no matter which dealership employs him.

Good Day!I am very happy with my "purchase" and "Kevin".When I visited the dealer I was very overwelmed.I have been test driving and listening to so many options so how could I purchase a car. We went to the dealership on a whim, just to check out the car we were thinking about buying. We had no intention of purchasing at this point in time but knew we wanted to soon. As soon as we pulled in, our salesman Dennis greeted us at the door and asked if we needed assistance. He showed us the car we were looking for and was very friendly and patient, especially with our 3 year old in tow (anyone with a toddler can vouch that things can get rough in these situations!). He was also very patient with my very specific wants and needs in finding the car we wanted. We ended up finding the exact car we've been looking for but decided that we still weren't quite ready to buy. We had a general idea of finances but no specific plans at this point. In short, Dennis and George (manager) made us an offer we really couldn't refuse but we decided to wait until the following day just to think things over a little more. We returned the next afternoon and finished up the process with financing. Miriam in financing was awesome. She was very nice and personable and even offered her ipad for our daughter to watch movies while we filled out paperwork. At the end of the day we went home in our brand new Dodge Dart and were very pleased with the service we received. George told us a saying that he liked to go by "The only pressure here is in the tires." While of course they are in sales and have to 'sell' us the product, I can say that I didn't feel pressured by anyone at the dealership. I would recommend them to anyone!

I feel that it is necessary to share my experience on 05/25/2013 with your Express Lane service. I dropped my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with an advisor named Lesley Shepard at 7:09 am for a simple oil change. With no other cars waiting, I was told the service would take "30 to 35 minutes at most." As I am sure it is a common occurrence, my credit card receipt shows that the service was completed at 8:06 am. After watching several people leave who arrived after me, I was able to observe the person checking out in front of me with an arrival time of 7:22 am. Another point of interest is the Invoice is time stamped at 7:41 am.As this does not make sense to me, I requested to speak with the Manager, Shane Stanek. After a couple of minutes he was able to apologize for the delay with a reason that the technician, Shellby Daniel, had difficulty with the hood lock. Of course with that explanation, I remain deeply dissatisfied that your staff could not figure out how to open a hood with the car key which they already had. At a minimum, I would expect they would ask if they could not figure it out after a couple of minutes.With no other justification or consideration, I must inquire why I would ever consider using such an expert and experienced and service staff to work on my car? In addition, it will require further explanation into this matter for me to even consider using the service or sales department at Jerry Ulm Dodge again.In the last couple of years, the American car companies have done an outstanding job of improving their product. As this experience demonstrates, there is a very long way to go in terms of customer service. Although my Jeep is the best car I have ever owned, I will be sure to advise all of my friends and acquaintances to find a different dealership. I will also be sharing these comments with Dealer Rater and Jeep in the hopes that comments such as these will impact your dealer rating.

It was close to after hours when I inquired about a jeep through the internet. We weren't intending to buy until the end of the year, but Darren called within seconds of inquiring and was able to match the bottom line that my husbund had in mind. Without even seeing my trade he agreed to the bottom line and said he'd stay there for as long as it took for my husband and I to get to the dealership. We got there around 0730p.m and was out the door around 0845. There was no haggling and speedy service. Since my husband and I had been researching the vehicle for awhile and knew that that particular vehicle was what we wanted we didnt mind the speedy service! Would definately recommend this dealership and Darren to get you near your price point and get you out the door!

Top was leaking with both factory top and aftermarket top. Asked prior to bringing it in if the aftermarket top was a problem and was told repeatedly that it was no issue. Once I got it in they refused to work on it (after wasting my whole day) and lied about it being "glued down" as the reason they would not touch it. They clearly did not even try to work on it as it took me five minutes to get off, and there certainly was no glue. Additionally the service manager lied straight to my face by claiming he would call the district manager and get back to me. When I tried to call back they would not answer or return my calls. Complained to Chrysler and even they said the dealership was wrong. I understand not working on it, I do not appreciate being lied to.

My first contact with the Jerry Ulm dealership was through the internet. I contacted a number of dealerships in the area and was impressed with the response from Darren Lane. As an older single woman buying a car on my own for the first time, I had many questions and Darren was more than willing to answer all of them whether or not I made my purchase there. When I made the decision to purchase the vehicle, I had a price that I felt was fair and we were able to come to an agreement without the stress that is normally attached to new car negotiations. Darren assigned Kevin Ryan to be my salesman. His service was outstanding. He even picked me up at my home since I had no transportation. Every question I had was answered and I felt that all those I have in the future would be as well. The business manager, John Chiappone, was equally as helpful and informative. Kevin took me on a tour of the facilities so I would know where to come for service. He introduced me to Shane Stanek who would be taking care of my vehicle and it gave me a great deal of confidence to meet him and visit the department. This was our 2nd time visiting Jerry Ulm Dodge looking to purchase a new vehicle. So this review is covering the purchases of two vehicles: a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and 2013 Dodge Dart Limited. Both times John Wieland was our saleman, and we also worked with the VP of Sales, David Gonzalez. Both were completely professional and friendly and did not give you that typical car salesman approach - we never felt pressured or like we were be hassled - there was no back and forth like other dealers pull. Not only was the buying experience pleasant, the price was right too. They gave us the best trade in values on our trades, and priced the new vehicles very competitively! One thing I really appreciate although others might not care - they don't put a dealer's sticker on the back of your car! I don't care about the license plate frame, but when other dealers put their sticker on my car - it comes off before the car leaves the lot.After purchasing both vehicles, John has gone out of the way with driving my wife to and from work when she drops the Jeep off for service - making it as convenient as possible for us as he can. We have had a few service issues, where things needed to be fixed on the cars and they performed the service quickly and competently.I honestly cannot say enough good things about this dealership. The buying experience is pleasant, the service department is usually pretty quick and thorough. I would highly recommend this dealer to my friends and family.

My salesman (Ryan) did a great job working me into the right truck. He walked me on the lot, was patient and listened to what I wanted in a vehicle. He did not try to up sell me, he met my need and made sure I was getting a great deal. I am not going to throw out numbers, but the deal they offered was so good even my skeptical wife was happy to see what they had on paper. Not only did Ryan and the boys at Jerry Ulm get me a great deal on the Ram 1500, but they also got me an interest rate way lower than my credit union pre-approved me at. All in all, this was the EASIEST car buying experience I have EVER had! Kudos to the team. If you are looking for a Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram product this is the only place you need to go. In every way Ryan and the team at Jerry Ulm did a wonderful job. They pushed hard enough to let me know they were serious about selling a car, but were not invasive and in my face.

I had done some research online as I was looking to see if I could afford to make a trade on a new car. I had met Bob Potter of their Internet Dept. a week earlier when I was in for an oil change. He gave me his card and said if I was ready to move up to call him. A week later I sent him an email saying I was interested and shared my research with him. I brought my cleaned out car in and sat down with Bob to answer my questions about the different packages I had seen on some Charger models I was interested in, and none were on their lot. We did quite a bit of research with his access that I nor the floor personnel have. We found a car that I discounted right away as one I couldn't afford. But later he brought back financing numbers and I was surprised it was doable for me. We had a deal. Then he handed me off to Brian Johnson for the next phase of the process. He explained all the goodies in the car and we did some paperwork. After that it was off to the finance guy, John. There were no surprises there because I already knew what my finance numbers were. The whole process was lengthy but a majority of the time was spent with Bob and every minute was worth it.Overall the whole experience was pleasant. Never did I feel any pressure. Bob did all he could to insure that I got the car that would make me happy. The car I bought had to be delivered and once again Brian gave me lesson about my car, mostly about how to use steering wheel buttons and the touch screen. He spent as much time as I needed to learn the new rocket ship with all its gadgetry.The guys were all great. I'll be back to buy my next vehicle there too, probably a Charger again. I'm already familiar with their outstanding service department. Although, it did take a long time to complete the entire transaction (4 hours).I particularly like the attention to details like the addition of tinted windows, door guards, and pin striping that you put on all cars.We did not feel pressured to make the purchase that we made. The deal we got made it hard to turn down. The service department is part of the reason we drive to you from Brandon. My husband bought his 2013 Journey from another dealer, but he had a bad experience at their service department. He went from there to yours and had a great experience. My wife and I visited Jerry Ulm DCJ on Saturday and from the moment that we stepped out of our car I knew we were going to have a great experience. First off, I was shocked when I recieved a call from Darren Lane just moments after inquiring online about a new Jeep Cherokee. We spoke for a few moments and scheduled a time for my wife and I to come in. Not only was he courteous and professional, he had a great sense of humor and made the decision to come in very easy! Upon arrival, we were greeted by your friendly sales force and we were quickly directed to Darren. We spoke for several minutes about a few options and then we were turned over to Brian Johnson who took us out on the lot to show us some new cars. Brian was Awesome! Not only was Brian NOT pushy, he was very imformative and always made sure we had all of our questions answered. I could go on and on and on about how great every step of the process from there on out was but I will do my best to sum it up. After deciding on the make and model, we were taken back inside, offered refreshments, and worked out the financials. We, Dennis & Miki, started researching new vehicles in June, 2012. We reviewed Dealership ratings from Internet sites and visited several. Jerry Ulm Dodge was among the top five.Our initial visit introduced us to Darren Lane in Sales. He was friendly, personable, and very willing to discuss vehicle options and specifications with us. We ordered a 2013 Dodge Charger SXT PLUS. Darren was high in the reasons why we placed the order.Carlos, Service Manager, managed to expedite an oil change on our older,non- Dodge vehicle on one of our Saturday meetings with Darren. Charges were very competitive and they discovered the battery was weakening. However, Service Dept did not note that a battery cable clamp required replacement. Carlos's attentiveness compensated for that minor oversight.At those times when Darren was off, Brian and all of the Receptionists fielded our calls and directed us to those who could provide answers. Felix Ramirez, Financial Services, was the ultimate prototype professional and efficiently explained presented options, and double-checked these important documents.Overall, we have no reasons not to recommend Jerry Ulm Dodge.ps: The experience was so pleasant, we gave them a dozen donuts when we got the car!

They will sell you a car that has been wrecked and not tell you that it is or ever mention of offer a carfax! Their sneaky and will take advantage of you if you are not smarter then they are! Buying a car from this dealer was the WORST mistake I ever made!!! Its great to find out you were screwed by one dealer at another dealer!!! Now Im stuck with a car that has been wrecked and I PAID WAY TO MUCH FOR!!They knew what they were doing and they should be ASHAMED of themselves!

Jerry Ulm Chrysler is, by reputation and past experience, a premier Chrysler dealership. Personnel are friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to talk with.This is our first purchase from this dealership and, based on our experience, it definitely won't be the last. The "internet" guys - Jordi Prat and Bob Potter listened to my questions and answered them well enough to convince me that I needed to pursue a purchase investigation. I was turned over to Brian Johnson who was very professional and made my wife and me feel relaxed and interested in what kind of deal we could make. As it turned out, we felt that Brian and management sufficiently met all of what we were looking for and we decided to purchase a new car!Thanks guys - it's beautiful!

looked at a wrangler unlimited. got a price and monthly payment on paper. darren sent the vehicle back for cleanup and detail. was supposed to come back next day sign all paperwork. i even called bank and insurance with the vin #. get a call the next morning before i go into the dealer and he says he priced the wrong car. a car that i wasnt even interested in. the $ is 2700 more. so i go online and price at edmunds and they still wouldnt honor that price. go here if you want to play games and learn how they do things before going to an honost dealer.

Before coming to Jerry Ulm, we had walked away from two dealerships who were totally disrespectful, unprofessional, and didn't seem to care at all about our business. I initially worked with Bob via Internet chat and emails to get some initial pricing, then to locate a vehicle with options I wanted that had to be brought in from a different location. Then Dennis assisted in completing the deal and made sure to help me get my phone hooked up to the Blue Tooth system, which I love. Though there was some initial mis-communication about the trailer hitch installation, all was settled to my satisfaction. Everyone was very helpful, including John in Finance. My vehicle was hit from behind less than a week after I got it, but Paul at the Jerry Ulm Collision Center took care of everything needed to get my Jeep Patriot Latitude back to pristine condition, including to my surprise and delight, a thorough wash and vacuum.

I went to this dealer after tracking down a 2012 Dodge Challenger that had the options and package I wanted on dodge.com. I was promptly greeted and introduced to Darren Lane, the new car sales associate.I explained what I wanted and Darren went to work tracking down this vehicle. It was not there yet, but I received regular updates from Darren on the status of the vehicle and the expected delivery date.When the vehicle did not arrive as scheduled Darren was pro active and let me know.I was under a tight schedule to get back home (6 hours away)and When I arrived at the dealer, the vehicle had just arrived. Darren got his team working on the vehicle and it was ready to go when He said it would be.He was prompt and efficiet and didn't waste any time in showing me the basics of this vehicle to get me on the road, so I could get home in a timely fashion.He has since followed up on how I like the vehicle, which means a lot to me that a sales associate will follow up after the sale to make sure I'm happy with the vehicle and deal.

I was treated like an old friend, not a stranger and all my needs were heard and met. I LOVE my new Jeep!! It has more options than I thought I needed, and now wonder how I ever lived without. I was treated failry and received a great price for my new vehicle, I wasn't pushed or rushed to make a decision. My son was included in all transaction conversation and even allowed to test drive the vehicle with me. He has his restricted license now, and since he will eventually be driving it, I wanted him to be part of the decision. The GM followed up with a letter of thanks which I thought was a special toush and I will be purchasing my furture Jeeps with Jerry Ulm.. This is my second Jeep purchase and have come to enjoy the reliability, space and versatility of the vehicle.

John treated us like family! He came in early to meet us and stayed by our side until the whole deal was done. John took extra time to go over all the features of our new car and made us feel like he was happy to do so. It felt like he never wanted us to leave :-) When we asked why everybody was so happy and nice that worked at the dealership, John stated because the Owner of the Company is that way and that they are trained to be very ethical at this dealership...no aggresisve approaches tolerated. Me and my boyfriend bought cars from John on the same day, just because the service there was so amazing. We come back because we have always had very good, friendly service. We even have our children bring their cars here. We are old enough and experienced enough to know good service when we see it, and we have always been very pleased with the service ay Jerry Ulm.I would also like to compliment Tracy Scruggs, Service Advisor, for her ever-professional manner. She is very knowledgeable about each vehicle and she always stays on top of our service requests. I would be remiss to not compliment the quality of the work performed by the technicians, and I have also noted the efforts made to keep our cars clean during repairs. When Jordi Prat contacted me by phone after I had visited the web site, I was pleased with his patience and courtesy. He seemed to really understand my needs for a family safe vehicle. At the time of purchase I had no running vehicle. He let me know they could send someone out with the vehicle for me to look at. Within a few hours Jeff Horn Pulls up in my driveway with a 2008 Chrysler town and country van. He showed me the paper work and went over some of the great features of the van. We went for a test drive and were off. He was polite friendly and encouraged me to ask questions. I was a little overwhelmed with emotion because it is such a beautiful van. He left with some paper work he needed from me. He sent someone within the hour to pick up my 1999 Ford Explorer for a trade in. Later that evening he offered to come and pick me up and take me to the dealership to finish the paper work. John Chiappone helped me through the enormous mount of paperwork. It was late evening and he was so patient with me. One of the most important asset was with all of them letting me know If I have any questions or concerns to feel free to call or come in and they would be willing to answer any questions or help in anyway. Hard to give a good rating for this dealership which is unfortunate given that I have spent over 7K in their service department on my two in the past 7 years. I have been working with several dealers throughout the state and informed all of them that I was trying to work the very best deal possible. I told all of them I have access to Black Book and Mannheim in addition to AAA and USAA carbuying services. I knew invoice price, employee price, when the vehicles were ordered, and the amount of hold back. Therefore, I would not be taken advantage of. Seems an educated consumer is their biggest fear. Although initial correspondence and follow-up was very good, the tone changed when I told them I had been working on a better deal with another dealership. I think they bristled when I said the dealer installed options were ridiculously overpriced ($900 for custom window tint, bedliner, nitrogen filled tires, door edge guards and pinstripe = approx 150% markup-- seriously?!) I had lamented on the fact that a different dealership was ridiculous in their offer for our trade, the reply from this dealership was "Obviously you have a understanding of the car business, you also realize we are not a non-profit organization". (I still have the email). I bought elsewhere and can no longer in good conscious use this dealership for service.

Yesterday I visit this dealer for the first time - I was 100% sure of what I wanted in my next car - salesman Mike Gero really nice young men convinced me and we were decided to close a deal. I didn't had an opportunity to test drive the GC because I have done it already. While in the office of Felix Ramirez (who is one of the best manager and should be running the place) advice to test drive it before finishing the papework - I went ahead and while driving we realize that something was wrong with the ignition - of course I said I'm not getting this vehicle - immediately after I said that one of your SM Gordon Begley made a really nasty gesture "ok she can go and literally push me out of the dealer" That's not the way you do business and especially with a women - I really recommend you guys sent this guy Gordon Begley to take some C.Service or manners class before he continue damaging your dealers reputation. It will be impossible for anybody wanting to buy a car that's is showing problems already. This AM I received a call from the other SM Jorge Roldan and was a different story. Gordon Begley you might be a SM but you have no class - you have a long way to go... treat with people with respect.

I don't know what to say other than this is by far the BEST car buying experience my wife and I have ever encountered. We went to Jerry Ulm "just to look" :) at a Jeep Wrangler for my wife. In less than 3 hours we got exactly what we were looking for at an exceptional price. Most dealerships will go back and forth at least 5 or 6 times to come up with a deal that is usually less than satisfactory for the customer. Well let me tell you - Jerry Ulm Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep was just the opposite. The sales manager, George Roldan gave us an offer, we countered, and within 20 minutes he accepted our counter-offer and we were pulling off the lot with our very first brand new car. Thanks again to the sales manager, George; our Sales consultant, Dennis Hill; and the finance/business manager, Felix Ramirez for a great car buying experience. We will definately be passing the word to all of our friends and family and when we need to "just look" at another car - it will be at Jerry Ulm!!!

The first time we stopped to look at new cars about 7 salesman stood outside doing nothing. We walked around the car lot and not one of them offered to help us. Unfortunately, my husband went back and did in fact purchase a new Jeep Overland. That was only 2 weeks ago and since that time the salesman didn't know what an MSO was, they didn't have the knowledge to register it in our home state and then trying to get it pin striped was a complete fiasco. They told us to come on Thursday, no appointment needed. Guess what the person who comes in to do that work does NOT come on Thursday. Next come on Wednesday because he changed his day to Wednesday. Guess what - he does NOT come on Wednesday. So finally one salesman said I will make you an appointment for 9:30 next Tuesday. One more trip over and guess what - no one there. My husband has made several telephone calls and no one ever calls him back. They promise to call but they need to have customer service training that is for sure.I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I can guarantee one thing - my husband will not be buying another car there!!! I also have a call into Mr. Jerry Ulm and we shall see if he calls us back. Maybe the trouble starts at the top.

On 1/14/12, I dropped off my vehicle at Jerry Ulm in Tampa due to a leak in my Power Steering System. $397.55 dollars later, it was fixed. On 1/26/12, my check engine; light came on and would not go off. I thought this could be related to the service I received 12 days prior. I returned to the dealership and Carlos Batista scheduled me for service the next morning. As I was signing to agree to an $80 inspection, he asked me what I did for a living. I am certain that he was fishing for a reason to charge me more money. When he called me with an estimate of this service, the charges came to $325.34. I consider this to be excessive price gauging as I was charged over $700 on a 7-year old vehicle that has less than 55,000 miles on the engine. This bad experience with Carlos Batista in the Jerry Ulm Service Department has convinced me to steer clear of this dealership.

(Backgound) This entire visit and subsequent sale(s) began on February 9th 2012 on the internet and via email. My wife and I had been talking about trading my truck in because of the high mileage and its' consumption of gas on a weekly basis. I emailed back and forth with Bob Potter at Jerry Ulm's in Tampa and in his last email he invited me to visit the site and have an appraisal done on my vehicle. I happened to be in the area on Saturday 2/11 and stopped in so they could see my truck and give it a fair appraisal. Bob was not in, he was off for the weekend (unusual as that may seem for sales guys). The folks that were present picked up the ball for Bob and took good care of me. The internet consultant (sorry I forgot his name) made a notation that I'd been talking to Bob Potter then got everything started by intorducing me to John Wieland. I got a fair appraisal value and a great deal on a new Jeep Liberty. I had shown up late on Saturday so I had to return Sunday for a detail on my vehicle and some last minute instructions on the vehicle.(Sidebar) When I got home Saturday night I went over the numbers and savings on the new vehicle. I took my wife and daughter for a spin and they fell in love with the vehicle. The next day when I returned to get my vehicle cleaned up, I took my wife and daughter along (with her vehicle - of course). John Wieland was at the door waiting for me and I offered him the opportunity to work on a deal for my wife. I'd already given some busines to Bob and I thought it appropriate to give John my wifes business because he had been very competent, efficient and amiable during my visit.(Rest of the Story)We made our introductions and I stepped out of the way and left the rest to John.I made sure to tell your internet sales co-worker that I was giving this business to John. The entire process for my wife comfortable, efficient and very pleasant. On both occasions John Wieland, John Chaiponne and your new car sales manager George Roldan were attentive, informative and ready to help.I expressed my gratitude to your Sales Manager Gordie Begley and Georege Roldan upon completing our business. But it did not stop there - John Wieland made sure the cars were clean and filled the tanks on both vehicles as well. While at the gas station he took the time to show my wife and daughter how to work with the navigation system and extra perks so they could know what to do with new system (I didn't get those in my vehicle JOHN :-)).On both days we were treated fairly and competently by the staff at Jerry Ulm's. We walked out the door saving hundreds of dollars from our previous payments, with years of worry free driving ahead of us and feeling that these were good fair people who understood and met our needs.My wife and I want everyone to know that the folks at the Jerry Ulm Dealership on the corner of Dale Mabry and Spruce ST. in Tampa Florida are the best we've had the opportunity to work with in the 20 plus years we've been living in Tampa. In case you're wondering who we've done business with in the past; Ferman, Kia in Brandon and Veterans Ford - they will never see us again! No more--I'm going to drive to St Pete or Clearwater next time. We have been here for 1.5 hrs. I had an appt, but that apparently means nothing. after 1 hr, the service guy said they were just getting to our car!!!!!!! We still haven't heard anything. Who know what services we might need. Last time I was here, on a work day, they promised me a ride to my house, 20 min away, no reservations necessary. It took 1.5 hrs and getting back was even worse. This kind of disrespect for customers and our time is simply not acceptable.

We came back to THIS dealership because we were successful in the past buying 3 cars at THIS dealership. We live an hour and a half away so I tried a "local" dealership. The sales team were so unorganized and not very helpful at all. So, we go into our truck and made the trip to Jerry Ulm Dodge. Upon arrival we met Ivan Rivera and within 5 minutes we knew we were at the right place. We closed our sale with the help of Jorge which was wonderful in his presentation of the deal and went directly into financing with Felix Ramirez and what a happy experience we had. Hats off to this dealership for maintaining the excellence in customer service after all this time. Truly a great experience for us. I initially met with Darren my sales person at the African American Festival in Tampa. Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep had three vehicles at the festival on display. Darren went over the options and features on the Jeep that was displayed and I fell in love with the thought of owning a new car. Darren let up a time for me to come into the dealership to see other models they offered. I was a little sceptical (I came to hear music and socialize). There was never any pressure from anyone that I encountered (John in finance). I now own a NEW Jeep Compass and have Darren and Jerry Ulm Dodge to thank for making it happen! I love my new Jeep Wrangler Sahara! When Kevin Ryan gave me the final sales price, I didn't negotiate. I didn't argue. I said, "I'll take it." My son almost passed out. He couldn't believe that I made such a quick decision. Hey, I know what I like. I don't like high pressure salesmen who try to sell me a car that I DON'T like. That happened last year with the Honda CR-V, the Toyota Rav 4, the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Subaru Impreza and Forester. I always loved Jeep Wranglers and after a lot of research on the 2012's with the new engine and transmission, I was hooked! The interior is gorgeous, the ride incredible. The quality is great. The sound system and the Sirius radio are just unbelievable! This is the first new car I've ever bought in my life and I'm almost 67! Hey, I'm young at heart. It was nice talking with Jerry Ulm. My husband decided to call the internet person(Bob Potter) at this dealership to see if we would get a better experience. He listened to what our needs/wants were and delivered. Our credit wasn't the best at the time however the business manager put a deal together that would work for us. Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep is the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. Being a person that only buys new cars, I expect the best treatment from the dealership that I buy from throughout my entire experience from the initial sale to the service. I bought a NEW 2009 Jeep Liberty from Jerry Ulm and had a good sales experience. They were courteous and professional. However, after about 6,000 miles I started having to take my car in for various service issues (leaking roof, brakes squeaking, automatic locks not working, tire trend completely worn down, etc.), and have received the worst service I have ever had. Not only are the service reps not trained to be courteous to the customers, but they are not knowledgeable about their products either. They have tried to blame the car's problems on me, the driver, as if I made the tires bald, and the roof leak? I have taken my car in for all the service issues there so that they could possibly provide me with prevention techniques to eliminate some of the issues. They did not do that and then try to hit me with a huge bill each time. You are way better off shopping around and receiving the same service elsewhere for way cheaper. They also offer price match on some things, which they do not honor. They also do not offer the same manufacturers warranties on certain products that you would get from ordering straight from the manufacturer (tires). I will never shop here again, never take my car in for service again, and certainly will not recommend Jerry Ulm for anything.

The people I dealt with were always helpful and prfessional. There was never any pressure. They worked with me from the very beginning on every detail from EXACTLY what kind of truck I wanted to the financing. They did everything they could to get me exactly what I wanted, to include going out to another dealer to get my new Ram 1500. With not so perfect credit, they worked with me on financing options that fit my budget. They showed me everything up front, sticker price, discounts they could offer me, as well as other incentives and broke it all down on a simple print out that it was easy to understand and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Jerry Ulm Dodge to anyone in the market for a new Dodge.

Jordi was extremely responsive and knowledgeable as our Internet sales contact. Roman could not have been more friendly and conscientious in keeping us informed on the sales process and the detail and delivery work being performed on our truck. The price was extremely fair in relation to Kelley Blue Book. Dealing with Johnny in the finance office was the most pleasant experience in a finance office EVER and we've bought ALOT of vehicles. The only negative I can report is the truck was delivered with only a half tank of gas although we were told it would be filled. My husband was too excited to check when we left the dealership and it seemed counter productive to drive back from where we live 30 miles away. That being said, I would still recommend potential customers drive 30 or more miles to buy from Jerry Ulm Dodge. They will make it worth the trip - just check the tank before driving off :)

I didn't have to cross bridges or mountains to get to the Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep Dealer. Just barely a few miles down Dale Mabry but I have to tell you, you can't find a nicer bunch of guys. They are the friendliest bunch of guys you could ever meet. I brought in my 2009 Dodge Charger for service. While waiting for this service I went to see a Challenger, "my dream car, but not practical for my needs", and came across Ramon Espitia. He introduced me the new 2011 Dodge Charger SE Rally Plus, fully loaded. I fell "in love" with the car. He was so nice to me and explicit in explaining all the new features.From there I was joined by Felix Ramirez and Jordi Pratt III. These two gentlemen had negociated the purchase of my 2009 Charger. George Rollidan was also helpful in the negociation of that car. So here we all were again with my contemplating the purchase of the new 2011 Charger. I was being given a very deal on my trade-in for the 2009. After two days of pondering I did decide to trade it in and purchase the 2011. This sale would not be the same though. I had never bought a new car and when I purchased the 2009 I was so nervous I got sick. Transaction was done with a small garbage can on my lap. Bet they never had done a transaction like that before. I was much better this time, I rather enjoyed it.Then there is John Chiappone. He is straight forward, funny and friendly. I am very happy with the service I get at Jerry Ulm Dodge Chrysler Jeep Dearler and will be back sometime in the future. I love the feel a Dodge vehicle.Keep up the good work guys!

I was looking for a 2011 Ram RT to replace my 2005 Ram with 142000 miles on it and upon discovering one at Jerry Ulms website I inquired about it through there website. I was contacted by Jordie Pratt,the internet manager and scheduled to look at the Ram RT, I was given a very fair price on my trade toward the Ram RT and my financing needs were more than met,Felix Ramirez was my salesman assighned to meand did a fine job getting me the deal I wanted. Well I got cold feet on the Ram because of my needs for more room and better gas milage but I sure wanted that beautiful truck. I cancelled the deal at the last minute. I called Jordie back and apologized and we discussed a more appropriate vehicle for my needs. I researched the 2011 Charger with the Pentastar V6 and found it more to my liking . I contacted Bob and Jordie upon seeing 2 chargers on the lot. I met Jordie and Felix and they found a car I liked in a Charger Rally model so we tried to work a deal on it but could not come to terms as the payment was over my Company budget for my car expense. I decided to wait for awhile and buy in a few months.Well George called me 3 days later and asked if I would be interested in the Charger I liked if we could get it down to y budget . He called me backed and said he would make it work. Michelle in Finance got me my Finacing and all tags etc and we closed the deal. Very pleasant low pressure HONEST experience and Jerry Ulm Dodge has earned my Buisness in the Future as well as my solid recommendations to friends and Family. Everybody loves that 2011 Charger! Yes we would buy from JUD again and yes I would highly recommend JUD to my friends. We had previously purchased a new 2006 Dodge Ram pickup from JUD in December of 2006.
