Service tech was out the door before I got in, wanting to save me time on getting my vehicle done so I could get to work. Service Tech communicated with me on the air filter that needed to be changed without just doing it and assuming it would be ok. This is greatly appreciated especially on a budget. Work was done in great time and the Service Tech got the most out of the coupon I presented upon arrival. Very impressed with the Jim Clark service techs, sales staff and all. Will definitely recommend Jim Clark!

I was helped immediately when I arrived. The gentleman in the service area escorted me in and helped open the doors as I pushed my baby stroller inside. The other gentleman helped me with the elevator and even made sure we made it to the top and were comfortable. Took my car in for an order change. Knew mY front tire sensor didn't work. But after having them change the oil now NONE OF MY TIRE SENSORS WORK. Everything worked fine until I took it in. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm so upset now. How can I take it in for a simple oil change knowing I had 1 faulty tire sensor to getting it back and now NONE OF THEM WORK. WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO THEM. I"LDRIVE TO MANHATTAN AND HAVE IT CHANGED

Being in the military, we have used quite a few dealerships over the past 20 years. Jim Clark by far has provided us with the best care and courtesy. We have purchased 3 vehicles over the years from Jerry V. With moving away and back again he always remembers us and the family. Finance manager is respectful and caring. Service department is polite when making appointments. They do a fine job and leave your vehicle the way it was when they got it. No oil spills. No dripping in the driveway. Even though it wasn't their sale, they go ABOVE & BEYOND every time. Willie {finance manager} also goes above & beyond every time. I honestly can't say enough great things. Bob Story has become a great friend of ours & he always greets us with a smile. We are a military family & will be leaving Kansas in the next year but would honestly consider coming back to this location in the future just to buy so we aren't felt like just another number. Danny Amidon is my 'car guy' and I trust him because he's shown me he really cares. The first time I bought a car from Jim Clarks, I didn't know what I wanted. Danny spent all day with me letting me test driving 7 or 8 different cars. He never once tried to push me into buying a car that he didn't think I would like driving or couldn't afford. I told him what my budget was and he got me into a new car that I loved when I didn't think I could afford it. He has never been anything but totally professional, patient, and helpful. I won't ever buy a car from anyone else or anyplace else. The service department is top notch and always helpful. They make the car buying experience easy.

My 2012 Suziki was totaled in a car accident. From the moment I had the car taken to Jim Clark on Grant Avenue the experience was amazing. From the body shop personnel in getting me into a rental vehicle to the purchase of my 2016 Chevy Trax. There was no pressure from Dave Anderson to get into purchasing a new vehicle. They allowed me to turn in the rental car I had been driving to allow me to test drive a used vehicle (Chevy Sonic) for the weekend. I had decided over the weekend, that I wanted to get a Chevy Trax. Everyone was real helpful to get me into the vehicle I wanted. The amazing thing was that it only took 1 day from start to finish. The customer service was terrific, including the finance guy Mark Sanders. Could not have asked for anything better. I was treated like a family member throughout the whole process and it continues even now. Thank you Jim Clark Chevrolet, the body shop personnel, Uncle Dave, James Keene, and Mark Sanders.

I began the process during the winter months went to jim clark here in town to get my 2001 camaro up and running again. Service department excited explains we don't mess around we will be having your car running by spring. I rush to drop off the car paid half for the motor months and months roll around then once i finally get frustrated i go in to check out the status i see the same service representative and they tell me that they have no say in the motor once its built ill get updates so i say fine ill wait months later they get the motor and never say come see what we got confirmation to see whats taken off the old motor. Then i get a call explains how hard it is for a final test drive.so after explaining the money already paid out and the money due out i told them i want my car today and when i get the car recited the care has 3 year warranty 100 thousand miles however the paperwork says nothing after this ordeal i wont rest till i get some sort of satisfaction

Hello,We bought a 2015 Chevy Impala 2LT within a week of speaking with Steven Chisholm. He was excellent to deal with and made our car buying experience smooth and painless. He was able to make us deal and provide us with every discount possible. He showed me all the particulars in the car and helped me set up all my accounts for instance, Onstar. He was also very fun to deal with and would definitely recommend him to others buying a car. He followed up with us and asked us if we needed anything to contact him.This is not the salesman's fault, but we did have a problem with the vent to the right of the steering wheel. The day after I bought the vehicle, I turned on the vents and this one wasn't working. I took it into the service department and they had to replace the vent. Since I just bought a brand new 2015 vehicle, it was kind of discouraging having to take the car into the service department already and having them take out your whole dash to replace something. I was very nervous and definitely didn't want anything messed with already. That's the way it goes though. Other than that, everything was great! Thanks again!

I purchased a 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71 with the plus package, it is black and chrome. This is a very lovely vehicle and has all the options. My salesmen was Steve Chisholm, he was excellent and offered a no hassle buying experience. Steve brought the vehicle out to my location for me to look at because I was unable to get to the dealership because of work. This was done so that I could make sure this was the particular vehicle I wanted with the options I had specified. Being active duty military I have always been hesitant about buying vehicles from dealerships around the base, because prices tend to be higher and most dealers are unwilling to make deals and give you a fair price. However, this was not the case with Jim Clark Chevrolet Cadillac in Junction City, Kansas. They epitomize what a great dealership is, and they have outstanding customer service.

Thought I was getting a great used vehicle! The sales consultant, Danny Armidon , walked me through their process of vehicle inspection for used, non-certified pre-owned vehicles. He stated that they had a 180 and some point inspection. If this had been true, I would not be having the issues I am currently having with the truck. My problem is not with the sales department. It is with the service department. Every time I bring my vehicle in there, some thing else crops up. Let me give you an example. I took my vehicle in there because it told me to service the charging system. This was 2 days after purchase. The technician told us not to worry about it because the alternator had not gotten the battery up to voltage. This was clearly untrue, but I could not get the department to work on it. I had to have it diagnosed by Firestone (which I paid for out of my pocket and the dealership will not reimburse) just for Jim Clark to admit that the alternator was bad and replace it (which they did free of charge). The starter also went out on the vehicle a week after we bought it. One of the seats that was supposed to fold down wouldn't. The door handle on the vehicle fell off. The air ride compressor died. The driver's side seat won't move, even though the service department diagnosed the problem and made me pay for a motor for it. The truck is currently sitting in my driveway, not able to start, making the clicking noises like the starter went out on it (after Jim Clark supposedly replaced it a couple of months ago.) The turn signal sometimes doesn't make the clicking sound when I turn it on (which I believe points to bigger problems), but the dealership won't even look at that. There was also water dripping from the information center at the top of the truck, but again, that's not an issue either. I have had this vehicle for about 4 months and it has been in the shop to be worked on 10 times. Tell me again about the inspection they do on all used vehicles? The service department can't seem to find the issue with the driver's seat not working, why trust them with anything else? The one bright spot there is Sherry, who sets up our appointments. She is bright and cheerful despite being clearly overwhelmed with work. Of course, if people are taking their cars back for the same issue over and over and over again, then that would explain why she's so busy. Jim Clark is friendly and a good place to buy a NEW vehicle (where the lemon laws protect you - and as long as you have a different dealership to take your vehicle to for maintenance). But I would never recommend anyone to get a USED vehicle there. Their service department is just too incompetent. I will be looking for somewhere else to take my lemon of a vehicle to get it fixed.

On Thursday May 29, 2014 I had my 2003 Chevy Tahoe towed to Jim Clark because the brake light and ABS light were on, the speedometer didnt work and the transmission would not shift out of first gear. It only had first gear and reverse. I told Steve in the service department that it seemed to me like it was an electrical issue. Steve set my appointment for first thing Friday morning. I received a call early Friday morning from Steve with the diagnostics. He stated I needed all four brakes and rotors replaced, new tires, a rear wheel speed sensor, a front axle seal and a brake flush all for $1,162.00. (I do agree the brakes, rotors and axle seal need to be replaced but NONE of these were the issue.) I then asked him about the transmission and he stated that the technician didnt mention anything about it. This is why it was towed in the first place! He then called me back and told me that there was no third gear and that I needed a new transmission ($2,000 for the transmission and $700 in labor). I then stated that it sure seemed like an electrical issue and he told me that the technician ran the diagnostics and all he got was the rear wheel sensor code. I told him I would look into a rebuilt transmission and I would be in to pay their fee and have it towed to a place that rebuilds transmissions in Junction City. When I went to pay I repeated that I thought too many things went out at once and it sure seemed like an electrical issue. He told me that he had his best technician on my Tahoe and he went and talked to him again and reported back to me that the technician could get the transmission into second gear manually but there was no third gear. He then told me that he could have the technician look at it again but it would cost me another $80 diagnostic fee. I then had it towed to the transmission place and told him the issues and the gentleman I spoke with said it sure sounded like an electrical issue as well. First thing Tuesday morning I got a call from the transmission place and was told that mice had chewed through a few wires on the transmission (one of which is the rear wheel speed sensor)! ELECTRICAL just as I thought and what I tried telling Steve at Jim Clark. Thank goodness I have more common sense than the computer they hooked up to the car and the technician that was working on it! I was out of a vehicle for 5 days, spent $92.72 on a diagnostic fee, $50 for another tow and the fee for actually fixing the problem at the transmission place. This service center just tried to get $3,862 out of me of which NONE of it had to do with the problem in the first place! Not a good experience at all!

Poor management & sales personal. They make promises they do not keep. I made a deal on a car they said they would hold for me to pick up. My wife & I drove over 200 miles and arrived as scheduled. The sale's man and General manager said it was sold that morning. They never attempted to call us to cancel our trip. Two tanks of gas and a day wasted with no compensation. I leased a car several months ago and I had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan Garrison. He was extremely knowlegable about the car as well as the history of Jim Clark, which to me shows that he is dedicated to his job and not just there to get a paycheck!! He helped me choose the right car that fit my needs becasue he listened to my concerns and pointed me in the right direction. I could not be happier with the overall level of service I recieved. Good service and good timing. The cashier was a bit rude though. She was only there half the time running around doing other things and the boy and other gal were great at assisting me. When she got back she was not using professional language. She babbled on about having a degree to the other gal but she definitely does NOT have good customer service skills. I will return, I just hope Jessica will help me next time.

This dealership is top notch! Patrick in the accounting department was so helpful! If it were not for him I probably would not have come back but the fact that he went above and beyond his call of duty to satisfy me, the customer, my experience was spactacular. Having dealt with him since he worked for a bank, he has managed to bring his skills to better a business! Jim Clark Auto is so lucky to have a staff member so knowledgable in so many areas. For a young man, he is very skilled. People could learn alot from him, his customer service skills have set the bar for me. I refer many friends to Jim Clark and they agree! I love that place! He deserves to be recognized!

I will never go back to this place!! My husband and I tried to buy a new car from with them and a sale was going on there never told us about and they always told us a different answer on why my father couldn't be on the loan with my husband. They where very rude and not truthful at all. I will never go back here even for car work and will never buy a car from them.

Danny Amidon took the time to ensure I understood every step of the car-buying process. He explained all of the features of the car and when he didn't know something, he didn't pretend to know. My experiences with Jim Clark Auto Center extend over twenty years. I have bought cars, pickups and vans for myself and for my children. James Keene has been a very helpful, trustworthy salesman. One vehicle had a problem the very day after we bought it and (unfortunately) had driven it out of state. In spite of its being a holiday weekend, the dealership made arrangements for its repair and return to our home. The service department has been excellent as well, meeting or beating their estimates on repairs as to both time and cost.

I never thought I could be surprised by the level of service at Jim Clarks having had worked there for two years, and by having Ron Johnson as a long time family friend.. but I am here to tell you that I was.When I decided to sell my truck I began looking for what I wanted in my new ride. I wanted a certified GM product, heated seats, remote start, V6 engine with good gas milage, no more than 3 yerars old with a final price lower than $15k... I started there there and began my search. I found a few cars that were right in my sweet spot at Carmax... but I did not want to leave Ron out of the equation. Our family has bought every car in the last 15 years from Ron and I know how good he is at his job, so I sent him an e-mail with links to the cars that I was looking at and told him "If you can find a match with in $500 I will keep my business here in town."Not only did he get the match, he BEAT the competition by $750!The whole team worked to get the job done like it was a personal challenge. From manager Willie Thornberg to Willie Roberts in finance, Roger and Sherri in service... they work their best to make sure you walk away satisfied.From here on, Ron is my "car guy" bar none and I recommend him to ALL of my friends.

Ron Johnson is a great salesman. He was very patient(I changed my mind three times) and accocmodating to my schedule during my car selection. When I finally decided on a vehicle, Mr. Johnson gathered my personal belongings from my old car (which was in the service department) and transferred them to my new vehicle. He even put my belongings in the appropriate places in the car. Mr. Johnson also purchased a cord for an IPOD to use with the entertainment system. Mr. Johnson took the time to show me the features of the vehicle and answer all my questions after the purchase.
