Had a great experience buying a car from Larry Fitzpatrick the Tall Hawaiian. He was professional, funny, straight with you, and made us feel totally comfortable throughout the entire process. I had gone to look at cars at several other places and even though they weren't all bad, there was still that uncomfortable pressure of them trying to get u to buy as high and fast as possible. There was none of that here at all. Mr Fitzpatrick stuck with us the entire day, just hanging out, looking over models, and in general making it feel like there was all the time in the world. The process went by in "Hawaiian Time" and we were totally relaxed after leaving 6 hours later with my new GTI. Yea, I know this sounds like a cheap upsell but he is 100% awesome, hit him up and you'll see what I mean.

The service department at this dealership poor at best. I've had my 2012 CC serviced there 3 times over the past year and each time something came up that could have been avoided had their service department cared about what they were doing. I had a meeting with the assistant service manager and I gave this dealership every opportunity to make it right. In the end the assistant service manager just acknowledged mistakes were made on their end, apologized, and sent me on my way. He offered no compensation for the mistakes that they made on my car that I purchased from their dealership. No refund/discount, no free oil change or scheduled service, nothing. It's clear that they don't handle their customers cars with the same care that they would handle their own car and to me that's a problem.

i always have service here and it's pretty quick. I am always treated well and the waiting area is very comfortable and provides good snacks and beverages.

I had been to a lot of dealerships in Florida and many of them never followed through, called back, or they weren't up front about pricing-- not giving me actual costs etc... I couldn't believe how outstanding Jim Ellis was -- from Craig the salesman to Matt who did all the paperwork. Every single person I dealt with was responsive, accessible, honest, and followed through on everything. I'll admit, I didn't do myself any favors on the deal, but that was my fault-- these guys were a class act all the way. Even AFTER I bought the car (when dealerships typically don't respond because they've made the deal), each person was extremely responsive whenever I had a need or question. They were responsive via text, email and the phone. I bought the car out of state, and they even followed through with all the appropriate paperwork way ahead of schedule and with detailed instructions on what to do to register the car in my state! They were honest, reliable, no hassle, and frankly, enjoyable (other than my overpaying..). Finally-- I bought this car over the phone from them because they happen to have the exact model, trim and color I had been searching for-- so I experienced amazing service even though I never set foot on the property!! Really impressive operation!!!!

I purchased a used car a month ago for cash and have not received the title. When I called the dealership about this, i was given the runaround and told to go find about it myself. They could not even tell me where to go to do so. The fact that I paid them the tag and title fees means they should take care of this which they didn't. So now I will have to take off work, lose pay to go find out where to get the title and I know will run into a hassle when I try to do this... just because they didn't do their job and follow through.

Called about a Passat that I found on the Internet, talked to Raul and said I would be traveling about three hours down to see the car, He said they still had it and another one that was almost the same and he would have them out and ready to test drive when I got there. True to his word both cars had been washed and ready to go. Raul was great to work with and Jim Ellis dealerships are a great place to purchase a car as we ended up getting one of the Passats we test drove. Great Deal and very happy wit the car and every one at the dealership was great to work with.

Rafael is the internet sales manager and he is just wonderful to work with. He is incredibly personable and not one bit pushy. He is someone who has worked hard at whatever he has done and he is very patient and considerate of any questions etc. Not to mention that someone should write a book or make a movie about hsi life story! He was an absolute pleasure, the dealership is very modern and clean with great hospitaltity of beverages and snacks while you wait. The manager made a point to come over and introduce himself. No complaints, give them a try and definitely call or email Rafael.

After a car totaling accident, my family was in desperate need of a quality used vehicle at a reasonable cost. I went to several dealerships before going to Jim Ellis. I should have just started there! John Daniels was the man who helped me. He was the nicest salesman I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He made sure I was comfortable with my decision and was never pushy. The finance people made sure that I got a low interest rate and were very patient, despite my bad credit. The facilities were spotless. There were comfortable waiting areas for when we had to wait for the car to be polished up so we could take it home. My experience here was soooo great! My salesman was John D. and he worked with me and literally found THE BEST deal I could have ever asked for...I would recommend this location AND this sales guy to anyone. I spent a day going from dealership to dealership and lowered my standards after each stop....thankfully I ended here at VW Kennesaw where i was able to leave THAT DAY with a wonderfully priced 2014 Jetta. I love it and really appreciate their work. Thanks!

Jim Ellis Volkswagen and Amanda Cantrell have won a customer for LIFE! I never actually thought I would buy a new car or a VW until I talked to Amanda and she had me come in and test drive them. I bought my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen the day I first started talking with her and never even bothered going elsewhere. You see, they really do treat you like you are part of the family there. Amanda has a way of working with people that I haven't experienced before. She really does care about her customers and listens to what they need. She went to bat for me and helped me to understand the whole process. Pretty soon we will welcome another VW into our household when my Fiance' goes back to buy his. Seriously, go see Amanda. Jim Ellis VW and Amanda Cantrell have completely changed my opinion of the car buying experience! Amanda's no pressure style was a refreshing change, and her love of the cars that she sells was front and center. Great new store! Everyone is so friendly and attentive! The location is great! The customer lounges (yes plural) have big screen tvs you can watch while you're waiting which its nice!

Best car buying experience ever. When i got to the dealership i told them what i was looking for. Luke pulled a car around front for a test drive. I drove the car (loved it) and agreed on the price. I signed papers, they waxed and cleaned my new car and even filled my tank with gas. I love my new VW. THANKS JIM ELLIS VW KENNESAW.

I am a female student at the Kennesaw State University (GO OWLS). I went to Jim Ellis to look at a used Nissan, the salespeople were very helpful, respectful and above all friendly. A stunningly beautiful facility. Greeted by Chas. Very professional, great knowledge of the product and some very unique technology. I had come from a nearby competitor, not a Ji;m Ellis dealership, and was treated poorly. Here everyone and everything could not have been more pleasant. and so much effort in customer comfort while there. I haven't been in for service yet, but the various lounges are beautiful. And nice toys for the kids. Absolutely recommend this place.

I am not usually apt to write reviews, but my experience here was so different I felt inclined to do so. I got a quote through my USAA memberhip on a New 2013 Jetta TDi. I got an email from Luke giving me a price that matched what USAA had told me. My trade was the only thing that I didn't do before going in there but they really stepped up and gave me what Kelly said m car was worth. Luke was very cool and made the process relaxed and fun. I was at the Kennesaw location yesterday and tried to work out a deal for a 2013 Passat SEL Premium. I was planning on trading in my 2010 Passat. However, the deal could not be made. The salesman, Justin Wagner, was very nice and professional. However, Arvind Sarathy was not so great. The difference in where I wanted to be and where he said he needed to be was too far apart to make the deal. That's fine and good. No big deal if the we couldn't get together on the figures but I left there feeling very belittled. I bought a 2005 Jetta from Jim Eliis and the 2010 from Heritage and always had great expreriences and it made me proud to drive a VW. Arvind has changed my mind. I left there actually embarrased to get in my Passat. Oh well, it is what it is.
