We had an excellent experience. Chip Baker, our salesman, was exceptionally friendly, very knowledgeable of the product and a pleasure to deal with. Tim Rau, in Service, was also very friendly and exceptionally helpful in making some changes to the new truck. This was our first experience with Jim Schmidt dealership and we definitely will be back for future car/truck purchases. A big Thank You to everyone we dealt with. Very friendly and clean environment.

I strongly believe that no matter how many dealerships you visit, you will NEVER find one with the quality people of Jim Schmidt's. They treat you like family and make you feel as though you are their only customer and ALWAYS are willing to go the extra mile to make all of your wishes happen and become reality. All departments of the dealership are exceptional. Kim Langham is one of the finest people I know, not to mention her outstanding sales qualities. In my book, Kim Langham and the entire Jim Schmidt dealership is simply the very best there is!! No doubts!!

I felt I had to give credit where credit was most definitely due. I had a terrible experience with a dealership local to me, so I hit the internet to find my dream car. I found a FANTASTIC deal at this dealership. and inquired about the car. Within minutes, I had an email from Chip Baker, who went above and beyond to help me. Despite me living over 400 miles away from this dealership, he made every step a breeze. I did not end up purchasing the car due to other financial obligations, and Chip refunded me the deposit I had put down. Jim Schmidt will have another review from me before its all said and done, because thanks to Chip Baker, I won't want to go anywhere else.

After weeks of shopping online to find the perfect truck for my family and I, CODY RICE contacted me due to my inquiry on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. When we arrived, the truck was sitting there detailed up and ready for a test drive! After we drove it around, we came back to the dealership and CODY had 2 other vehicles he thought we might be interested in to better suit us. He was in no rush for us to buy a vehicle or pushy on one or the other, he just wanted us to have the best vehicle possible. All of the staff did a great job at helping us out and congratulating us on our new purchase, we will be going back for our next vehicle without a doubt.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Jim Schmidt and flew from Bismarck North Dakota to pick it up. They picked me from the airport and drove me to the dealership where Terry welcomed me and I made the purchase. I drove 80 miles down the road and had a major breakdown. Jim Schmidt Chevrolet had a tow truck pick me up, brought me back to the dealership and paid for my flight home. They repaired my vehicle on there dime and paid for my flight back to Hicksville! They took absolutely great care of me and the vehicle I just purchased from them! I feel like most dealerships would have said "tough luck; you just purchased a used car" but not Jim Schmidt Chevrolet.. This is an amazing Chevrolet dealer and I hope to purchase from them again in the future. My salesman was Terry Ayers and he is a Great guy and true professional.

We live in Oklahoma and looked all over the country for a particular 2014 Chevy Impala. We found one exactly like we wanted at a very good price on Car Gurus at Jim Schmidt Chevrolet. We talked numerous times with Cody Rice and he was very good at answering all our questions, sending numerous pictures, returned phone calls/requests promptly and he was very patient with us for nearly two weeks until we finally sealed the deal (had been dealing with a local dealership and were getting nowhere). Every person we talked to was friendly and helpful, every time. We were going to have it shipped but their location is off the beaten path so we had trouble getting a hauler to pick it up for delivery. So, we decided to fly out there and get it ourselves and make an adventure out of it. Best decision we ever made! Dave was waiting at the Ft Wayne, IN airport when we stepped off the plane. He is an absolute gem. He drove us to Hicksville in a nice vehicle, told us all about the area, knew we would be hungry so he stopped for us to eat lunch and even paid! We got to the dealership and the car was sitting spotless, exactly as described without one blemish and all the paper work ready. Rudy was friendly and prompt completing the transaction. They had set us up with an OnStar trial, two keychain flashlights,4 ballpoint pens, a fresh oil change and a full tank of gas to start our journey home. They even reset the trip meter! We had a 1210 mile test drive via Nashville and the car was an absolute dream--even better than I anticipated! It was exactly what they said it would be, and more. They went above and beyond for us and made it a fantastic experience. This is our 5th out of state vehicle purchase and by far the best EVER. We have been on the complete opposite end of the spectrum for internet purchases which make us appreciate everyone at Jim Schmidt even more. I LOVE Impala's and trade cars every 3 years. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat--even if they are 900 miles away! They are THAT good! Next time we will allow time to stay in Hicksville longer, the community is like one big family. Dave said their goal isn't to make money, it's to make a living and I believe that. P.S They have the Ford dealership too for you Ford folks!

I have to update my previous 2 star review to change it to 5 stars. They contacted me and assured me that they are serious about customer satisfaction and I believe them. The issue I had is resolved to my satisfaction now. I still think that it is important to clearly review the final price with your service technician before approving the work, but that applies to any shop. I had discussed several things with the service technician and apparently did not understand the total costs associated with the repairs that I approved. The quality of their repairs were never at issue. They know GM vehicles. I will consider Jim Schmidt for my future service needs or purchases.
