I just purchased a 2022 Acura MDX from Larry Stewart. The whole process went smooth and easy. I always get nervous when it comes to making a big purchase, but Larry made me feel right at home! He took the time out to go over every detail of all the high tech inner workings of the vehicle although it was the end of the workday. He made sure my husband and I understood every detail! We ran into a bump in the road and Collin made sure that I would still get my car and worked everything out for me. I never felt pressured or had that experience where they would not leave me alone. My brand new factory ordered, 2012 MDX was my 50th Birthday present from my husband. I did my research, and that was the car I chose among all the other cars available.Unfortunately, my 9 year old and I were in an awful accident, in which we were able to safely walk away from my totaled vehicle. Words cannot begin to describe how pleased I am with Acura of Mobile. I have been a Honda customer for 15 years and have always wanted to "upgrade" to Acura. In May 2015, I asked my church friend, Robby Rousseau, for some advice. He immediately contacted Patrick, the sales manager. Logan Sport called me within a day or so and all of them began to build a relationship with me. I had to wait a few months as I was in a lease. After very little negotiating, Patrick "ordered" my RDX and it was delivered the end of October. I cannot tell you how blessed I am to have worked with this team. Everything from the initial negotiation to the finance department (David) to the delivery was exceptional! It was so seamless, no pressure whatsoever. I am so proud to be a Joe Bullard customer! I absolutely LOVE my 2016 RDX!

On the morning of October 12th, my husband took our 2005 Acura in for service. As he waited, he saw a car on the showroom floor that he thought that I would love. That afternoon, we decided to stop by the Acura dealership to take a look. The moment that we stepped inside, Robby Rousseau welcomed us and made us feel at home. He proceeded to answer all of our questions and also laughed at my husband's bad jokes! Patrick Norton joined us and began to answer some of our questions as well. After about an hour, my husband and I selected another model of the Acura, Patrick found the new car of our dreams in another state and negotiated the shipment of this car. On Saturday, October 17th, I drove away in my 2016 Acura RLX! Robby's salesmanship was excellent! He insured that I was comfortable with my car prior to leaving the car lot! Testimonial: I was already approved at Honda Eastern Shore in Daphne and in Hoover, AL Tameron Honda for a 2016 CR-V to replace the one totaled on 9/17/15 due to a head on collision by another party at fault. However, my heart was not into purchasing a 3rd CR-V. So I reflected, prayed, and the Lord led me to review Joe Bullard Acura one more time. So between 3:20 p.m. - 5:10 p.m. this Saturday (9/26/15) I was able to get ALL the information I needed and work out a deal for the vehicle of my choice. This was important since my left wrist/arm is fractured in a cast and my left quad/tendon under my knee cap is majorly bruised from the car accident. Once arriving at 5:40 p.m. I was able to finalize the deal with all paperwork signed and questions asked in 40 minutes!!! During the last 9 stressful days my brand new vehicle in 2012 was totaled, my son and I were in a head on collision without any blood shed, and Joe Bullard Acura ended the scenario with excellent customer service, kindness, and personable staff. When (not if) I purchase my next Acura I want to buy from Joe Bullard Acura. Thank you and God bless!

I had just bought a new truck March 31st of this year and it was amazing but I didn't need or use the truck as utility and really just wanted a luxury ride when I saw the 2008 Toyota Solara on line at Acura. I began emailing with Jessica the internet sales manager of Joe Bullard. She made everything a very smooth transition for me and had the car waiting for me when I got there. Unfortunately she was not there but Crystal took care of me and got me to John who took my truck and had a deal ready for me in under an hour. My wife and I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Acura MDX from Acura of Mobile. We originally only visited the dealership to drive the vehicle to see if we liked the model. We did not intend to purchase that particular vehicle as the price was a bit higher than we wanted. Dillon Strunck was patient with us as we test drove the vehicle and did not pressure us at all.Nearly a week later Dillon followed up with us to check and see if we had any other questions. Sean Gleason then followed up and we were able to come to an agreement on the price of the vehicle within just a couple of hours of discussion back and forth through texting and phone calls.I REALLY appreciated not feeling pressured and Dillon's and Sean's willingness to deal with me primarily via email and text (my preferred methods) as we live 45+ minutes from the dealership and it's difficult for me to be on the phone during the day with my job.We are very pleased with the vehicle and customer service we received at Acura of Mobile.

I researched vehicles online. I completed online interest forms for two dealerships. Crystal contacted me the next business day and scheduled an appointment for me to meet Rich later that same day. Upon arrival Rich was waiting and familiar with what I was looking for. He showed me several vehicles. Throughout the process he asked about what was important to me. I never felt any pressure. I dread shopping for cars which is the reason I'll drive a vehicle for 5 or 6 years before I get something newer. The staff at Joe Bullard Acura made the process a pleasure. Kate Havard, the salesperson I worked with, listened to what I wanted/needed and didn't try to show me things that were over my budget or didn't have my "must haves". I originally wanted to test drive 2 vehicles on the lot and she also showed me another option I hadn't considered, but met all of my needs. I ended up purchasing a CPO 2012 Acura MDX Tech and I love it. David Lammons in the Business office was great with Financing options and worked hard to get me a great interest rate. I'm looking forward to taking my MDX in for it's first oil change so I can see everyone again.

My daughter lost the electronic key to my 2010 Acura TL. I had no way to start my car. As I was visiting my Dad in Long Beach, Mississippi the local Honda dealer could not program a new key for me and the nearest Acura dealer was 80 miles away, I had to pay for a $220 tow to the dealer in Mobile, AL. My dad went to the dealer in Mobile with the tow truck driver to bring the car back to me in what was suppose to be a 45 minute job. He arrived with the car at about 10 AM on March 30, 2015. After about 3 hours the service department told him that they were having trouble programing the new key and were on the line with the Acura Technical Center. Finally at about 4PM they said the car/key programing was completed and my dad drove the car 80 miles back to Long Beach, MS. I was suppose to leave immediately to go back to my home in Jasper, AL (near Birmingham, AL) but when I tried to load my suitcases in the trunk I find that the new remote will not open the trunk and the button release will not work either. I had no access to the trunk. The metal key they cut for the door would not work either. As one of my tires was losing air pressure I wanted to have it check before my trip but now I can't because the tire lock key is in my trunk which I can not access. I can't put all my suitcases in the back seat as their would be no place for my daughters to sit. The Joe Bullard Acura of Mobile technical staff seems to be totally unqualified to program a electronic key for an Acura and is very callous about checking their work after completion. I am now stuck 80 miles from an Acura Dealer with a car that I can't put anything in the trunk, a dangerous low pressure tire that if I have a problem on the road I can't change the tire because the tire lock is in the trunk..... Not sure what to do but I do not want to take the car back to Joe Bullard's Acure technical staff so I hope I can make it to the Birmingham Acura dealer (which is 300+ miles away) with my kids siting on top of the suitcases and bags of stuff. It is very difficult to put seatbelts on them with all the luggage. After spending $159 for a key, $220 for a tow and $56 program charge (they tried to charge me $119 but I was quoted $55 on the phone) for a total of $434 I get an almost unusable car..... NOT A GOOD DEAL and a good reason not to every consider an Acura again.Update: Danny the service manager just called me (3/31/15) to apologize for the problems and offered to refund my payment and cover reprogramming expenses if necessary at the Acura dealer in Birmingham. All the service people were very nice, my only problem is that the technical staff did not fully check the functions of the new electronic key before returning the car to me. This created the problem and could have caused other major problems if I were to have a tire failure and could not get my wheel lock out of the trunk.... All is forgiven! Suggestion..... Acura needs to have the Honda dealers equipped with the ability to program a key for Acura cars. The dealers technical staff needs to check all the functions of keys after they program them. The technical staff should be better trained and qualified to work on these cars. Personally I would prefer a much less sophisticated and expensive key system from Acura.

The Lexus had over 120k miles on it, however it was very clean and one could tell it had been taken care of it. We also purchased an extended warranty. They did not have the color I wanted, so they ordered the car from another dealer and had it ready for me in 2 days. They offered to drive to me (61 miles away) just to let me test drive the car. While I waited for the finance dept to approve my credit app, they offered pizza, drink, and I watched a football game while I waited. I had been looking for a small SUV as a new family vehicle for over 4 months, visiting various dealerships, searching on line, and even commissioning a car broker. We visited Acura for Mobile early in the search to look at the RDX. We really loved the 2014 model but it was slightly out of our budget. Britney Mccord worked with us to find a deal that worked, and kept us up to date on new and used inventory on the lot. She was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested (not just Acura vehicles) but not pushy to make a deal. Of all the folks I dealt with in my 4 month search, she was the only one to actively look for what we wanted and could afford, rather than trying to push something else or something out of our budget. Eventually she contacted me to look at two used BMWs that were in the budget and just what we were looking for. In the end we bought a used X3 that came in well below our budget and exactly met our needs and wants, over all an outstanding car buying experience. I will continue to recommend Acura of Mobile (Joe Bullard Acura) and especially Britney to our friends, and will likely remain customers in the future.

I have no repair experience with the service department.The rating of 'great' on the other elements is reflective of a first time encounter with Joe Bullard Acura (Acura of Mobile) and product representative Patrick Norton.I'm a repeat Honda owner. I happened to look into Acura after seeing the new ILX on the road while looking for a new car. This is my first dealership exposure to Acura products. Patrick is a knowledgeable, unassuming and helpful product representative. He knew the answer to every question and I was efficiently oriented to a new product without any request from the dealership for personal information. That's different. Pricing discussions and agreement to buy were completed by phone (I live 90 miles from Mobile). The dealership's web site is very well organized. The Acura website is excellent. I didn't shop with other dealers. You get the impression that Patrick's your agent as well as the dealer's agent. He's the dealer's agent of course but what's clear is that he's there to help you get to your objective, not his. The energy from the other staff (management, warranty products) was of the same energy - informative, helpful, no apparent bias about your decisions. The showroom environment is merged with service and yet it is upscale, quiet, comfortable and low key. I witnessed first hand the handling of another automobile that indicated that this dealer is prepared to go beyond what is required in order to do what is right by the customer. Where're you gonna find that today? It's consistent so it must come from the top. A real pleasure to have a long (4 months) and difficult purchase decision process concluded w/o any influence that was not helpful to me. I really hope my service experience has something in common with this sale. That would be welcome from 90 miles away.

I was able to handle much of the car buying process via email and telephone contact with her prior to getting to Mobile which I appreciated as I live about an hour away. Acura of Mobile was recommended by USAA. Starting with Crystal with online support , to Robby when I arrived and Nick with the financing, it was an incredibly easy experience. I didn't feel pressured in anyway. Robby met us at the doorway and it went smoothly from there. The cars I wanted to look at were there and ready for test drives. He answered every question and assisted in every phase of the buy. By far the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. The negotiations with the Internet Sales area were easy, the trade in was fair. The communications by phone and email were timely. When there was a misunderstanding, they called to talk it over. When we arrived after a two hour drive to the dealership, the people in person were friendly and even the paperwork was harmless, and good for a few laughs.The only hitch was that the car wasn't prepped when we arrived. If it had been, the entire transaction could have been completed in 20 minutes. As it was, it only took about an hour to get it done. The coffee in the showroom was really bad too But if the only thing you can complain about is the coffee, I'll take that.

Test drove an Acura RDX, and that experience was okay. A couple of weeks later we phoned our sales rep and scheduled an afternoon to try to negotiate a deal. Unsolicited, the rep said they honor Truecar deals and suggested we might go that route. Without thinking much of it, we went there looking only to negotiate a fair deal, similar to the average price other RDX buyers have paid. When we got there, the rep offered us what he claimed to be the Truecar price and refused to negotiate more than $200 or $300. We found this price to be well above the typical price paid for the car and, when we told him this, he became quite confrontational. So, we left. Later, after a little research, we found that in fact the price he offered us was in fact the Truecar price. However, the TrueCar price for that locality was nearly $1000 more than any other locality we looked at in the Southeast and more than $2000 above the Truecar price in one locality, where we actually bought the car. I am not 100% sure why the Truecar price in Mobile is so much higher than in other locations, but I suspect it has to do with lack of local competition. Either way, when push came to shove, we felt our rep became condescending and not particularly pleasant. I would recommend finding a different location to buy an Acura.

Bait and Switch!! I was ready to purchase a MDX and we negotiated a price plus tax. I was very clear that I was only going to pay the price plus the tax. I went home to get the title for my trade. We were about to close, they came out with $1900 in "Other" charges. I could not be more clear on that I would not pay any other charges. My wife and i got up and left immediately. I did not expect this from an Acura dealership. Then on the way home, they wanted to "Meet Me Half Way".

The employees at Acura of Mobile were incredibly helpful and helped me be able to drive home in a vehicle with which I was incredibly happy. As someone relatively new to the work force, my credit was not well established, but they found a way for me to get financed. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and welcoming. Both Patrick Norton and Shannon Reeves were honest and upfront about the entire buying experience, which is something I greatly appreciate. They also didn't try to "suck up" to me because I was a potential buyer; acting that way always comes across as being fake, and I like that they weren't like that. They made me feel comfortable enough for me to ask questions, because I know I would get straightforward and truthful responses. Patrick has since e-mailed me a few times asking if there was anything else he could do, even though I've already taken the vehicle home. Shannon gave me a number to use in case of an emergency (e.g., should I get pulled over on the drive back to Texas for not having a tag) and made me feel as though she would have my back should I run into a pickle. I also interacted briefly with Crystal Wells, the Internet Manager. She was the one who was my point-of-contact before I visited the dealership -- she set up my appointment to test drive, which was when I really fell in love with the vehicle. She made a point of meeting me (I was finalizing the details of the purchase when this happened), even though I did not interact with her once I went to the dealership. This was my first car-buying experience, and I'd say overall it was an incredibly positive one. I would recommend the folks at Acura of Mobile to anyone interested in having a great experience while purchasing an incredible vehicle.

We'd been running wide open because of Christmas and having just gotten home from a 7 month long trip, so we were feeling very harried and tired. Joe Bullard's Acura of Mobile dealership provided us with a pleasant, pressure-free atmosphere, which sets them apart from so many others in the area. John McBryde, our salesman, was very helpful and knowledgeable, which is so crucial in a new car buying experience. The Acura MDX that we bought had been totally revamped for 2014 and John had it down! My wife and I, having both retired from sales, had a profound appreciation for having had a salesman of John's caliber. His professionalism and determination to put a deal together very much impressed us. To put it bluntly, my wife and I are difficult people to negotiate with, but John, and his manager Robert, stuck it out late on a Saturday night. They were tired and probably ready to go home, but they did what they had to do, and they did it without giving their car away. We went car shopping without any intention to buy that day but they brought us around. I felt like I was treated very fairly on the trade, as well as the new car. They were both super friendly, eager to make us happy and very pleasant to deal with. In a couple of years, when we're ready to "deal" again, we'll be back and probably dealing with John in management and Robert running the show. Thanks for everything guys. Oh, we love the car too! The MDX puts the Cadillac SRX, Yukon/Tahoe, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave to shame! No comparison. And though the MDX is in the luxury class, we didn't buy the Lexus, Mercedes, Audi, et al , because we didn't want to spend over $50k. After spending several weeks researching cars, I settled on two: the Toyota Avalon and the Acura TL. I had already test driven the Avalon and gotten a price from a dealership. I made an appointment to test drive an Acura TL at Acura of Mobile. We were late getting to our appointment with John McBryde. We apologized for our tardiness and he assured us it was not a problem. The specific car we wanted to drive was waiting for us. John took a few minutes and explained some of the driving features to us. He told us that he wanted us to feel comfortable when we drove the TL and that he liked to just sit in the back seat and be quiet while customers test drive. We drove the TL and loved it. We went inside the dealership with John and told him the price we wanted to pay for the car (we had done quite a bit of internet research). He did not give us any cheesy salesman remarks or feign any indignation that we were offering too low of a price. He simply said, "Okay. Let me talk to my manager." he was back within minutes and said his manager would accept our price. We told John that we need to drive the Avalon once more just to ensure we were making the right decision. He said that was fine and parked the TL behind the dealership just to make sure it wouldn't be sold while we were gone. After driving the Acura once more, we settled on the TL. We called John and told him were coming back to purchaser it. It was being detailed when we arrived. The paperwork process was simple and we walked out to take ownership of our new TL. John spent several minutes explaining some of the technical features; he even set up the bluetooth and imported my phone contacts for me! John also went back over the car making sure that the windows were spotless. He noted that the gas tank was only 3/4 full, so he had us follow him to a gas station so he could fill it up. This Acura purchase was the most pleasant dealership experience I have ever had, and John was just awesome.

We have owned an Acura in the past, so we know they are a quality company. We looked at a 2013 MDX and were impressed that our salesman was not pushy. We did more research and found out the 2014 MDX's were going to be built in Alabama - a great incentive for us! The 2014's were also expected to have better gas mileage economy - another reason to wait. We contacted our salesman and he concurred with our decision. He contacted us about the release date of the 2014 MDX and invited us to the showroom for a day-before-release chance to view one personally. We really loved the upgrades! We decided to get one, but they are a hot item and we had to wait a short time. We love this vehicle and our dealership!! We will always drive an Acura!

I live 2 hours away from the dealerdhip so it was going to be a headache to get there and look at it then come bavk to my jome town and get all my financial affairs in order to buy it. The staff at Joe Bullard made what would have been a huge headach a breeze! They kept me informed with emails and calls so I would know how the paperwork was going and that they were in contact with my bank and brought my car all the way to me! All we had to do was sign a few papers and it was all ours! I will definitely be going back for my next car, and I recommend Joe Bullard and my salesperson Brittany McCord to all of my friends and family!

My experience at Joe Bullard Acura of Mobile was phenomenal!! Robby was so wonderful to work with when buying my new Acura RDX, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends. I never felt pressured to make a purchase sooner than I was ready, and Robby worked with my schedule to make sure he was always available. I only visited the dealership twice; once to test drive (on a whim), and the second time to buy. With two months of time in between those visits, Robby never failed to maintain contact, and make sure I always felt comfortable knowing every detail about my car and the purchase options. He is definitely not your typical "car salesman"; in fact, I would not even give him that title. I left the dealership feeling completely satisfied not just because I bought a new car, but because of the high quality customer service I received. Every employee I encountered made me feel completely valued not just as a customer, but as an individual and a friend. *Price is marked good because repair can be more expensive at a dealership rather than a local automotive shop HOWEVER, the quality of work is worth the extra price. If I was rating value of work for price it would be a rating of 5(great).We have been bringing our Acura TL to this dealership for as long as we have owned one. Acura of Mobile has provided excellent and timely service, rental cars by appointment, and an absolutely wonderful staff! During these economic times, many people, such as us, are unable to afford to fix a leak in the AC, cruise control, and all the other bells and whistles that are required in a 100,000 plus mile vehicle. This dealership is straight up with what you must fix now and what can wait. You pay for honest and reliable service which to us is worth it. AND they truly care about their clients. We have left a wallet with over $200 cash and credit cards in our car being serviced. Everything was how it was left but cleaner because they washed the vehicle inside and out! Yesterday, we picked up our car and unfortunately, we had left two IPods while it was being serviced. We realized it today and the IPods were nowhere to be found in the car. It was hard to believe that someone would steal them given our track record with this dealership. So, we called and spoke to a manager right away only to find WE left the IPods at the counter and their loyal employees turned them in! Just another reason to heart this dealership even more! Not to mention the fact that Acuras are outstanding vehicles and made to last Thanks Acura of Mobile for our 110% satisfaction!
