I brought a very broken truck to them. Everyone treated me fairly & kind. They felt badly that I bought a truck that needed everything within 5 months of owning it. Bob Scarlett (service advisor) was awesome!! Also a special shout out to Calvin and Chris. I wish I could give them for than 5 stars!! I would definitely take my truck there again. I have not done business with the sales or parts departments at this dealership. However, several experiences with the service department ensure that I will never visit this dealership for any reason again. The last two examples: I had a minor suspension issue with my last F150. In short, the Kennedy service people told me it would cost about a thousand dollars to repair and would require ordering parts, which as I recall never managed to arrive. Eventually I took the truck to Fred Bean, where the problem was repaired for about a third of what Kennedy had quoted. The truck rode and tracked perfectly for another 25000 miles until I sold it. Last, I made a simple oil change appointment online. The appointment was verified by telephone by a Kennedy employee, with whom I confirmed that I would need to wait for the vehicle and advised I was leaving for a long road trip as soon as it was done. I arrived early for my appointment but the sole service writer showed the wrong time for my appointment on his computer, told me that I had to drop off the vehicle and that it would be hours before the oil change could be completed. The "Quick Lane" sign in the waiting area says "Fast service," "no appointment needed" etc. Baloney.

As always I am very satisfied with the services. I was kept informed throughout the repairs about price and what needed to be done. I used the complimentary shuttle service which was swift. I didn't have to wait long. The premises are clean and everybody is courteous. I took the expired insurance card and threw away the correct one. Customer service offered to contact the insurance company and have them send a recent copy of the card. They go above and beyond for their customers at Kennedy Ford.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil chg and tire rotation and first I was really surprised by the cost of $39.95 for BOTH!!!! Then while me and my husband was there I asked him to just put a part (a bulb) in my car so my husband could put it in to save the cost of labor, upon completion the tech put it in for FREE!!!! Then I asked Tim to blow out my drain tubes in my sunroof because it was dripping water into my floorboards and he got the body shop to blow them out for FREE!!! I have worked in a service dealership for about 11 years and I was VERY satisfied of the work AND time (Tim said 1 and a half and he called me in 1hr) it took for them to get done with BABE (my trucks name). Please keep up the great work and I WILL BE BACK for my front brake job :) Please pass this onto your coworkers or read it to your managers you guys have a great team.

Excellent response time. Tim, who I spoke to as I was getting my car on a flatbed tow, double-checked with me to see if my transmission was still covered by the manufacturer warranty. They took care of the TCM fix as well as notifying me of any service due and the condition of my brakes and tires. Very appreciative!First couple of days with the new TCM it seemed a little tight but it has since seemed to relax and drives like before. Unfortunately that includes the occasional shudder which might be the clutch still slipping. I'll have to get in touch and see if this is normal.

2010 Escape wrench light came on and then the engine light came on the next time it was started. Took car to Phoenixville John Kennedy Ford with no appointment. They fixed the problem, faulty throttle body, and had the vehicle ready that afternoon. Best of all it was covered under the vehicle warranty.

I went to John Kennedy in Phoenixville after finding that the quality at the repair center that I used to frequent was declining. I was hoping to not just find excellence in service for my vehicle, but in customer service as well. At Kennedy/Phoenixville, I was not disappointed. Really nice people to work with........well wasn't so thrilled about the finance guy. He kept saying we are giving the car away, not making any money on it. Customers don't want to hear that crap. He just had a bad sense of humor. Really really liked the other guy, tall fellow. Sits in front office by front door. Was very down to earth and really worked with us to get price I could afford. Would highly recommend everyone to see him! (I am so sorry that I can't remember his name off the top of my head). The only other down side was our salesman was new (his first week) and didn't know about the car. Really nice guy though!

Called Service Department from my location in Newark, DE about a bulge in my tire. Advised to bring the car in and they asked me the tire type so that they could order it. Notified me en route that they could get the tire today. Advised to drive safely and go direct to the service department when I arrived in Phoenixville. When I arrived, Mike told me that they had the tire - one hour after I first called him. Tire was put on in record time. Very happy with the experience.He said I might get a call from Allstate about the tire claim since I have a tire warranty insurance purchased when I bought the car.

The staff was very helpful. I came for inspection and all was done as expected. I usually sit and wait which is good for me. The wait was 2 and half hours which is normal. The waiting room was great, comfortable but coffee needed to be made since it was 1:30. I was assured that some would be made but none was made.I realize it was late in the day but instant would also work.Thank you for your service and follow up.

Hi, I have bought 20 or so cars over the last 30 years and have spoken with many sales people. Most have been fine but very focused on a given potential transaction. I recently was shopping with my son for a used car and dealt with a number of different sales people at different dealerships. Again, most were good people. Do, though, want to call out my experience with Joe Nudy at John Kennedy Ford. Although we did not end up buying from him he couldn't have been a better representative for his dealership. Really took the time to get to know my son and I and understood our budget and what vehicles we wanted. Although he certainly was focused on a sale he didn't try to pressure us. Rather, he looked for a "win win" and the right vehicle at the right price. Although nothing showed up on his lot that would work in our budget he continued to follow-up periodically (and not too much to be annoying) and offered any assistance he could. Really was highly professional and focused on building a relationship vs just doing a transaction. He was honestly happy for us that we got the right car at the right price even though he didn't sell it to us. For that reason when I am next in the market for a car I will call Joe first. Again, although we didn't buy from Joe would really highly recommend him.,

I called ahead to check the availability of a vehicle this dealer had listed for sale. I was told that it was available and I gave my name and number and told the salesman I would be there within the hour. i arrived on time, but the salesman could not find the car - 15 minutes later he found it, I test drove it and wanted to purchase it. During the negotiations the manager came up and apologized, and stated that someone else already purchased the car. They tried to sell me a different vehicle for 20 thousand more and I declined. The manager and salesman let me walk out. Total incompetence! I wouldn't buy a piece of gum from this dealership!

My wife and I visited John Kennedy Ford in Phoenixville, PA, to test drive a 2012 Fiat 500 listed on the dealership's website. I had called earlier in the day to make a reservation, and my call was answered by John Crane, Sales Consultant. A friendly representative greeted me when I arrived, and I asked for John by name. Coincidentally, I was speaking with John himself.John, who was assisting another customer, quickly gave us the keys to the Fiat, and joined us at the car within a few minutes. As we wanted to test drive the car, we either needed a representative of the dealership to join us, or we had to fill out a bit of paperwork. The back seat of a Fiat 500 is cozy if you're a toddler, and cramped if you're a teenager. John is a BIG man, easily over 6' 2" and 200 lbs. My wife offered to sit in the back seat, allowing me to drive. John laughed at the suggestion, and somehow managed to squeeze himself into the back seat, allowing enough room for my wife to sit comfortably in the driver's seat so that she could drive the car.After an enjoyable test drive, John offered to all us to test drive several other cars that my wife had expressed an interest in seeing. We looked at several other models, after which we decided we wanted to make an offer on the Fiat 500. We explained to John that we wanted to trade in the 99 VW Passat that we had driven to the dealership, and John quickly took care of the paperwork, provided us with the dealership's offer, and an explanation of the customary taxes and fees associated with the purchase of the Fiat. We asked for a slightly lower figure, and John was successful in getting the sales manager to agree. We signed the paperwork, paid for the car, and left feeling as though we struck a very good bargain for a car with which we'll be very happy.From the time John answered my phone call until the time we left the dealership, John was upbeat, friendly, flexible, and a pleasure to do business with. John never pressured us to do, sign, or buy anything in which we weren't clearly interested. John made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout. We've bought numerous cars in the past, and have visited far more dealerships than we've bought cars. Our car buying experience with John Crane was far and away the most enjoyable and memorable we've experienced. We give our highest recommendation to visit John Kennedy Ford in Pheonixville, PA, and we specifically recommend calling on John Crane Jr.

Mark was great, both on the phone and in person. Friendly, patient and willing to answer any questions. He made the financing, licencing and insurance process quick, correct and painless. It was delivered to me after being detailed which was great-it saved me half a day from work plus a ride up there. He has even called to follow up to insure that I am happy with my vehicle. Even though the dealer ship is not close to us I would not hesitate to referr anyone to this dealership and Mark. Great Job!!! :)

My experience in purchasing a new car with the Ford dealership in Phoenixville was fantastic. I went in to purchase a new car and I got very lucky to be paired with Jack Barr. From the first few moments of talking with him, he knew exactly what I was looking for. He was not only extremely knowledgable but also very friendly. He was honest, strait to the point, and very helpful in making sure I not only got what I needed but did not "oversell" anything like you see in typical other dealerships. The experience was very comfortable and I never felt pressured in any way. By the end of my experience, I felt that Jack was more of an "old friend" that I visited to sell me a car than someone that I just met that day. We spent about 6-7 hours together that day from the first steps in finding a car, to the test drive, and all the "fun" financial stuff that came later. One of the things that stuck with me as I was finishing up the transaction was when Jack said that I not only purchased a new car, but that he also came along with it; meaning if I ever needed anything at anytime to simply call him up and he'd help me solve any issues. There have been no issues so far but I feel easy knowing that if one ever arises, I have someone who will always be there to help. This type of service is not common today and I can appreciate when it is offered. I plan on having my car for a long time but when the time comes to purchase a new one, I will only deal with Jack! I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a new car to go see Jack. He is one of the ones you can trust!

I was in the market for a new SUV and when I arrived at John Kennedy Ford this past Monday afternoon I was greeted by Nick who was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the various options available in the Ford Portfolio. He asked me questions, figured out what my needs where and focused on showing me choices that fit within my needs. He was low pressure and informative... just the way I needed to be treated. I brought a friend back the next evening and Nick took the time to show all the features of both vehicles to help me make my choice. When it came time to finalize the deal, Nick made it effortless! I don't think I have ever bought a car in such a low pressure situation. I am thrilled with how easy and non-pressure everything was at this dealership. My previous vehicle was a Ford Fusion... Loved the car, but changing situations in my life made getting an SUV more practical. I have used this dealership for service over the last year (I moved from the west coast a year ago) and they have always been great! In fact, it was the excellent service department that brought me to the dealership when car shopping. Working with Nick, sealed the deal! This was the best experience i ever had buying our new FORD focus. I traded in my 2007 Edge in September for a beautiful 2010 Fusion. Ted told me when you buy the car you buy him too, and he was always available for any questions I had. He set up my iPhone with the sync system, and showed me how to operate it. The next month I discovered my battery was dead and it turned out to be a bad battery. I called the service center, and was able to bring in my car right away and have the battery replaced while I waited. A week and a half before Christmas, I was in a bad accident in which my car was totaled. I contacted Ted to ask him if he could find me a car as similar as possible to the first 2010 Fusion. I felt that the car was so safe in that it prevented me from serious injury in a very bad accident, and wanted to buy the same car. He immediately started searching to find a car for me to look at, and I was planning to buy it after Ted and the service manager decided to replace the tires and the brakes. However, I didn't remember to look for a sunroof when I looked at the car. I asked Ted and he told me it didn't have one, but that he would start looking right away for a car with a sunroof. He found one and had it brought to their location the next day. It is identical to the first car except for the color. I noticed that it smelled like a smoker had owned it, and Ted offered to have the car ionized to remove the smell and to have it detailed again. I really do feel that Ted means what he says about buying him along with the car. He has responded promptly to every request I have made of him, and he is very accommodating. He is a true professional and always makes me feel that he is there to make me happy with my car purchase. I will continue to deal with Ted and John Kennedy Ford in Phoenixville for any future car purchases, and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car.

I originally visited John Kennedy Ford to test drive the new Focus ST with no intention to buy. I was greeted by Jack who was very pleasant and laid back to deal with. There was no pressure to go any further than the test drive, but I wanted to see what the numbers would look like anyway to buy the car. Needless to say, I bought the car 2 days later. Not because of egregious pressure from the dealer, but rather the excellent deal they presented me with.I have been recommending them to friends and family because of the ease of doing business with them. The transaction went as smooth as possible. I started looking at new cars over the last summer in anticipation of my inspection being due in October. I looked at other dealerships to get my ideas, however I found Ted through at Pheonixville and it was well worth the drive. He found me a car based off of what I was looking for and made sure it was ready for me on time. It was a Fiesta which had recently had a Recall issued, and he made sure it was taken care of before the transaction for me. I didn't have to haggle over price at all. He gave me the price that I was looking for and I didn't even have to ask!! Jack met me at the front door of the dealership and quickly impressed me. I found him to genuine, good-natured, and very knowledgeable.Jack new the Escape I test drove inside and out. I believe that prior to working in sales he worked on the service side of the business and his experience here shows. I met few salesmen who could talk about every detail of the vehicle the way that he can. His enthusiasm is contegeous and if he can maintain his approach in this difficult business he'll be very successful.Ultimately I did not buy from this dealership but it was not because of my interactions with Jack or Khris. If your going to buy a Ford this is the place to go. The only reason I chose otherwise was because I decided I needed an SUV that was smaller than the Escape.

Without belaboring the point, I can easily say that John Kennedy's staff did a fantastic job. I should say that I went into the dealer already knowing what I wanted so my impression wasn't exactly on their ability to be knowledgeable sales people (not to suggest they didn't know their stuff...I just knew it already). Rather, the most impressive feature for me was that they were very much willing to go to whatever lengths to make sure I left happy. They gave me a reasonable price for the new vehicle, they gave me a reasonable offer for my trade, and were able to secure me a great finance deal. Because this was more of a specialty car acquisition, I wouldn't have expected to get much better of a deal on the price of the car. But, both Joe and Khris were always in good contact, always very friendly, and both did anything they could to make the deal work for me. I would certainly consider buying from them again and strongly recommend them to anyone.

Nick was a great and professional person to work with. They matched the trade-in value from another dealer, didn't hastle with us over any deals, and went out of their way to make sure that all of our needs were filled instead of just selling us something convenient to them. They made sure we were satisfied from the moment we walked in the door and beyond just giving us the keys. My car buying experience at JK Ford Phoenixville was better than any I've had to date. During my car buying process, I visited a couple dealerships and JK Ford's website along with my salesman Ted made the whole process a breeze. Along the way I had to deal with a couple of pushy jerks at other local dealerships. Ted was the complete opposite. He walked me through the process and helped me find a deal that best suited me financially. I told him what I wanted in regards to the car features and the price, and two days later I was driving home in my new ride. I would definitely recommend the dealership and my sales guy Ted Gilbert.

This was the type of car buying experience that actually made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish. I have experience with other dealerships in the area and I can honestly say that none of the other dealers can compare with the staff at John Kennedy of Phoenixville. Ted was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly and I would highly recommend him to others who are looking for a pain free sales experience. Ted included in my sale a full set-up of my Sync, programming of my GPS, and a walk-through demonstration of my park-assist, which is a must-have!Furthermore, Jim was able to walk me through all the necessary financing and maintained a very positive sales environment.All-around positive experience that I would recommend to all in the market for a new or used car!

John Kennedy Phoenixville has the most helpful Staff from the General Manager to my Salesman and the service center. My Salesman, Ted took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and helped me with everystep of the car buying process. He mapped out the warrenty and set-up my Sync for me. Had vehicle brought into dealership for warranty repair work. Work was completed in a timely manner. Shortly there after the vehicle began to run rough, stall etc. Vehicle was returned to the dealership for repairs. Service department called and said the vehicle needed a new electrical part. Cost of part and labor estimated to be in excess of $600.00. Had vehicle removed from dealership and taken to another location for diagnosis. Other repair shop found a loose connection on the electrical part. The electrical part test fine. Kennedy Ford attempted to charge customer for an unnecessary repair. They stated the vehicle needed a new part when there was nothing wrong with the old part.

This dealership is probably fine if you are looking for a new car. they were friendly and willing to work with me. however, little did i know i was getting played. They sold me a car that about 6 weeks later needed repairs costing about $3600. i have since then put in about an additional $1000 and have only had the car for about 6 months. When i called and told them about all the problems i was having, they told me "it's not our fault you didn't purchase an extended warranty".now that the vehicle is in the condition it should have been when i bought it, it runs fine, but as i dig deeper and swap out factory parts for high performance parts the problems and cost keep piling up.Any mechanic with half a brain could have found the problems that it had. If you are in the market for a used car, avoid this place like the plague. they are dishonest to say the least.
