It was great--they greeted me as soon as I got to the dealership. Someone took my car back and started the oil change. They not only changed my oil, but vacuumed the car floor and ran it through the car wash. I used a loaner and made a purchase downtown. When I got back to the dealership my car was ready for me to take home. It was all wonderful.

Our salesman, Sean was fantastic. He really went to bat for us as customers. Receptionist were always friendly and down to earth. I never felt out of place. Everyone had a good sense of humor. Our first oil change is free plus they fixed the broken pieces on it before we took ownership. Financing was simple and easy. Tyler is very nice and good at his job. Showroom is clean. Waiting area is nice too. We were worried about getting a vehicle and they helped calm our worries. The service dept...TJ Henderson was fabulous communicating with us and making sure we were taken care of. He is a great asset to the dealership along with sean. I don't know if I would have followed through without those two being involved. I have recommended sean and TJ to fellow friends and family.

Just needed an oil change and a couple of recalls fixed. I live out of town and had to work that day. They always offer a ride to work and then they will drop off the car at my job, before I get off, or even offer me a loaner car to use. So it's always convenient for me. They did the work needed, vacuumed the car and even washed it too. Staff is always very friendly there. They know I will be back!!

Vehicle had some recalls, mainly reprogramming but the computer on the truck had problems downloading the updates and Kemna went out of their way to make the process as less of an inconvenience as possible by giving me a 2015 Silverado to use until they were able to complete the download. This vehicle was not purchased at Kemna but they treated me as it was and rest assured any future vehicle business will be done here!

This has got to be the best dealership that I have ever dealt with, in both sales and service. The Service Manager, Service Writer, and all the other service personnel that I deal with are helpful, friendly, and truly caring!. I have really enjoyed the visits to Kemnas. When I first purchased my Cruze, Sean was very helpful and patient while I was making my decision. When I had problems with my car in Cedar Rapids, Sean and the service team were keeping tabs on what was going on and making sure the problems were getting taken care of properly. There really isn't much to recommend. All we had to do was get our keys changed over on our car which is no big deal I guess. It would have been nice to know right away that all they wanted was the keys. We thought we had to bring the whole car in. We could have done it a lot sooner.

Kemna's is very predictable. Most of my service is the normal preventive maintenance as it was this most current visit. I usually wait at the location while service is performed. Waiting is seldom nice, but Kemna's makes every effort to assure your comfort. Amenities includes snacks and even coffee and maybe a soft drink. Kemna employees, who you likely know by name, may stop or wave hello to greet you. Waiting room has comfortable chairs and a flat screen with cable. If those amenities are not enough, you can also visit the spotless display room. After the normal necessary service time, your car get laundered and returned to you. Not only properly serviced, but clean too. Great to have Kemna as part of our community. Jack

I called the service department requesting to have my oil changed on a certain day. I live 40 minutes away, but I was going to be in Algona the very next day for another appointment. I called only one day before I needed the service work and spoke with Corey-they already had a full day of service work but he was able to squeeze me in. I told him of my other appointment time and they made sure I was able to get in and be done in time to get to my other appointment. I waited in their customer waiting area while the service work was being completed. Beth was very friendly to everyone who was waiting there. She continually offered e snack and drink and asked if we needed anything else. Also as your other employees walked by the area many acknowledged us, stopped a minute to say Hi or chat a second, making sure everything was alright.Normally I don't wait in the customer service area, as usually my car is serviced while I am working at my job. Sometimes I stop in to drop my car off and they give me a ride to work and then my car is waiting for me in our parking lot when I get off work. Other times they will stop at my job and pick up my car and return it to my job site before I get off work.Everything was perfect. THANKS!!!!

Had my oil changed, recall taken care of, and car detailed. They gave me an awesome deal on the detailing because it was not that dirty on the inside. It is great when I get a good job done and it does not cost me as much as I expected. I also received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change. I was very pleased. I used a loaner car and got some work done in their nice clean waiting area. They are always very friendly and take good care of my car and me.

I had the most satisfying car buying experience of my life last month purchasing a twenty year old classic sports car from the major new and used car dealership of Kemna Auto Group located in both Algona and Fort Dodge, Iowa. Being located in Florida, I made this delicate purchase at 1,600 miles distance from their firm and trusted their Fort Dodge Internet Director Tom Bolton and their Algona Sales Director Tom Kemna to properly represent the exact condition of the low mileage auto I was buying from them. These gentlemen provided me with every assurance I would not be disappointed with their car when I first saw it a week later (after purchase) being unloaded from an enclosed hard-sided transport van. I located this car on the internet and the deal went very smoothly. Stacey Carlson was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about Corvettes. I rated the experience excellent overall. The only "hitch" in the buying process was that not all of the accesories were available when I picked up the car. They were still at their other store 45 minutes away. Stacey did offer to make a special trip to bring them to me later that day which was appreciated.

I was looking for a hard-to-find vehicle and stumbled upon Kemna Auto. I called the Algona branch and they were happy to send me pictures and other great accurate information. Living so far away (8 hours), they had no problem with putting the truck on a trailer and bringing it up when I wanted it. After having the vehicle for some time the truck needed warranty work and as a result I called up Kemna GM and with no problems or anything needed from me, they worked with GM to give me an extended warranty for 100,000 miles. I would definitely go to them for my next purchase.

This all started out as just an upgrade however, I ended up with a new vehicle as I have known Dave Ludwig and his wife Ruth for around 30 years (he kinda knows what I was looking for). So the one day I stop to see a new 2014 pickup that Dave had said I "needed" to look at. He was busy selling with another customer-Kevin Shaw assisted in showing me the vehicle that Dave had come up from the Ft. Dodge store, he is very good and friendly. So as you would aspect I liked it! So Tom Kemna and Dave did some magic and we made a deal. So I'm busy farming, Dave has a young men bring down a nice loaner vehicle til my new one got setup with some accessories. When everything was ready I still couldn't come up: so the wife came up. We get along quite well with Corey Roberts and now he is the service manger (which is a good) and Matt assisted the wife and we got the new home - WOW what pickup GM has in the 2014. Joann,Jen,Melissa always greet you and are helpful when I show up for service work. A good outfit Kemna Auto Center!

Vehicle will be returned in the spring to apply the protective paint coating to repaired area, as that had been done to the vehicle at the time of new purchase. Staff was very considerate and sensitive to our concerns of repairing vehicle to its original state.

Stacey Carlson does a great job looking for the vehicle I want and is very prompt in keeping me up to date during the entire process. My most recent purchase was a 2002 Corvette. Stacey made several phone calls searching for the perfect Corvette and was able to find it from a dealer in Illinois. The car is amazing and I am very pleased. Had a great experience dealing with Kemna. I had my 5 year old Ben along with me when we purchased our truck. While we were doing the paper work it was time to eat dinner so Dave asked us what we would like to eat. Ben of course wanted a happy meal. That afternoon when Bens big brother got home I asked Ben if he had told big brother what we did today. Bens only response....We got to eat McDonalds, the car sales guy got it for us! I had a blower motor go out in my Pontaic Grand Am last August. Kemna's replaced it along with several other parts. Then in December it quit working. I brought it back and the blower motor was covered under parts warranty, however they said the switch was quite corroded, why it wasn't replaced earlier, I don't know. The morning I went to pick up my car, naturally I tried the fan right away, and it didn't work. So I went back in and they said they would look at it right away and they did. It was determined that water was in the motor. It has been working ever since. I'm crossing my fingers. As far as the price goes, it was quite a bit higher than I had expected.

Mentioned to Shawn that I was interested in a small Buick I saw on the lot. He brought a couple different ones to my place of business and let me drive them. A small white Buick Regal came in and he let me drive it over the weekend. I loved it and bought it on Monday. Just what I wanted. I am very happy with this car. Just the right amount of extras--not too many I don't need.
