Due to a recall, they needed the car longer than expected so we had to reschedule the appointment. The reason for the 4 stars is that this could (should) have been accomplished over the phone/email rather than two weeks later after taking time off to bring the car in and then again a few days later. As soon as they looked at the service request they immediately knew it would need more time. How hard would it be for someone to glance at service tickets when they are scheduled. Less traffic in the service bay, more efficient service, happier customers, win-win-win, etc. Other than the inconvenience, the service was fantastic. Good communication and they got it all done the same day. Great work! When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed the lot was packed. Small suggestion would be to provide a tentative pick up time text prior to service being completed. Even if it is simply before they take it to be washed. This will get cars out of your lot much quicker because people will return sooner. Just an idea. Last comment is because my brother one-ups me every time he takes his Hyundai in for service in American Fork. Apparently their lounge has a few more amenities. Hint: My kids no longer want to go with me to the "car place".

I went today to get two recalls done on my car and they were very nice and very helpful, their waiting area was very comfy and had many beverages of your choice. Only about 30 minutes later everything was done with my car! They walked me out and there it was, perfectly parked, a very clean and shiny vehicle! I always have the best experience here when getting an oil change. I get text notifications along the way and a video sent to me at the end of my oil change and inspection giving me full details about what was done and of there is anything to be concerned about. I have NOT felt the love from this organization from the day that I purchased my car. Granted they have taken care of any warranty issues at any time, This I have greatly appreciated. My latest experience required over a week in the shop before I found out the results of my vehicle, requiring me to use another vehicle at my cost. I felt that I had to initiate each of the follow-ups, time and time again, before learning my car would require a new engine under warranty. Once, it was determined what work would be required I still had to continue contacting the organization for updates. Finally, after the work was completed they were in more concerned about the rental vehicle then showing me the work that was performed. They pulled the rental vehicle into the bay to validate every inch to make sure there was no damage. But when it came to my vehicle they just handed me the keys can send me out to the parking lot to get my car. I did identify some minor items that needed to be corrected that should have been resolved before I received my vehicle. With an engine replacement, I felt they could have at least cleaned my engine with the work that was done. I felt unappreciated, discarded, and as a future car buyer unlikely to do more business with this organization. Poor customer service overall from day one until the end. Final note: the people are good, they just need to learn MUCH BETTER customer support and IMPROVE putting their best foot forward.

I bought a 2001 santa fe on april 22 2016, first of all the salelady I spoke with /texted guarentee me that it was worth my time to come clear out to sandy from north ogden to see it!!!! So I come down and the car smells terrible everything was bone dry no fluids in it, they didnt even bother to vac. Yucky, I needed a car desperatley so aagainst my better judgement I bought it . So to weeks later the car dies, leaving me and my three children stranded late at night in a shady part of town!!! crazy so now I out $2500.00 dollars and to fix the car its going to cost $2200.00! theres laws against that (lemon laws) I talked to sam and he was goingto help me out make things right, well until i called him back after memorial day weekend meanwhile I am still stuck with no car. I call back and he has me speak to some man didnt get a name who was so rude to me. just plan rude! and now sam is not stepping up admitting what he said to me. just a week earlier. I would like to make it right between us , without lawyers but its begining to look like thats not an option. It took me over 2 years to save that money and it was not easy at all. how can we make things right?

Worked with Skylar who was very friendly, they weren't able to fix my concern but they tried and provided me with loaner car so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. He let me know I could leave it and they'd keep trying or to bring it back if I have more issues and let me know about their roadside assistance. They took my concern seriously and I appreciate it.

The sales person Brooks Sherman was extraordinary. I had bought a used car from a different dealership that made me feel I was useless and not worth their precious time. I did leave with an used car that I hated but they told me that's all I could afford.I walked into Riverton Hyundai and somebody greeted me with warm and care. I didn't even know he was a salesman. He looked so down to earth and friendly. Brooks Sherman is his name and he looked for a car for me, trading my used one. He went the extra mile and made me feel like I was worth so much. I left the lot with a brand new Mitsubishi. First time in my life I've ever had a brand new car.Brooks is very gentle, nice, warm, friendly and very competent. He makes you feel like you are the only one important there and he will search for what you will be happy with. He showed me so many cars. His patience was incredible. I left the lot feeling that I finally was somebody worth a new car. Thank you Brooks. You change my way of thinking about salesman. Very gracious and nice. And you made me feel like a million dollars. My experience with the after sales was different though. I had the free oil change three month later and when I went to my appointment, it seemed like there was only one man working there even though there was plenty of other service guys in the room. Andre Graham was greeting all the customers, and taking care of them, while the other servicemen were just talking with each others. In the 45 mintutes I was there he attended to me and all the customers who entered, as well as answering the phone. There were about 4 other men there, but it was a one man's show: Andre Graham. He even had to answer the phone and asked questions to the service guy there who did not even bother to take the call to relieve him of all his work.I admired Andre's patience, kindness and hard work. A one man's show in a big service care center like you have is not right. And Andre deserves a lot of appreciation and respect. He stayed patient, nice and friendly. I was amazed and I told how I felt. He did not say anything negative about his coworkers.So, I big thank you to Brooks Sherman, a wonderful and competent sales person and my big thank you and respect to Andre Graham who is going the extra mile, seems like every single minute he is there.I do appreciate my service and I love my car.

We have never owned a Hyundai before and decided to explore the brand because of all the good things we have heard about the brand. We initially went to a Hyundai dealer in SLC but did not feel comfortable with the service we received (I won't go into the details but lets just say that I wouldn't return to that dealer ever again). We then visited the Riverton dealer - such a great sales team! Everyone we met was friendly and courteous. The salesman we dealt with was Wes. He was very friendly and patient and answered all our questions (and we had many!). What we really appreciated was that we did not feel pressured to buy a car - Wes understood that we had to reflect on the information he gave us before we could make a decision. Every time I would phone Wes for more information, he was ready to help and the times he was not available, he would return my phone call within a couple of hours. (Even on his days off!) When we finally did make a decision on the model and colour, he went out of his way to source the car for us. Thank you for great service. We will definitely go back to Hyundai Riverton!

We bought a Sonata from Riverton Hyundai. Our salesman was Wes, he was wonderful. He is friendly, thoughtful, and listened to all of our concerns. He worked up quotes for us on 2 different vehicles, one was too expensive. He asked us what we needed to be able to afford to buy the car. We gave him a figure and he and his manager, Dave, worked together to get what we needed. We took the quote home to think about it over the weekend. Wes didn't put pressure on us-he told us it was important that we feel comfortable with our decision. His attitude was greatly appreciated. We looked at the inventory online, and when we went back on Monday Wes was willing to look it up and work up another quote. We added a rear view camera and wheel locks. Again Wes and his manager got what we needed! Wes took us around to meet the rest of the team. Mo, Dave, and the parts department - everyone was very friendly and helpful, and answered our questions.We were able to pick up our car the next day after the rear view mirror and wheel locks had been installed. Wes explained all the options and features to us. He told us to call him if we have problems, questions, or concerns. It's nice to know we have a resource person to call on if necessary. Our experience was wonderful! It's obvious that customer service is important to everyone there, and we will definitely recommend them to others!

Got to work with James Sherman a few weeks ago. I was really well taken care of, he was extremely knowledgeable and patient, but most importantly he wasn't super pushy which is something I've experienced with other dealerships in the past. I didn't have much time to car shop so wanted to make a quick decision. I was impressed how quickly Brandon Spencer figured out which vehicles to show me as i was still undecided about type of SUV. I was able to quickly narrow down my choices as he actually listened to my needs and made good suggestions. Manager Tim Mills allowed me to test drive 2 different vehicles overnight. I was concerned if they would in my small garage. Knowing the vehicle would fit gave me confidence with the choice. I had my 2 young children with me on the day i purchased and it's very stressful to shop with little ones. Brandon was very patient with all their shenanigans and made them feel welcome which put me at ease to complete the transaction. Without that help I would have walked out. He also helped us return our rental car after purchase. I am very satisfied with the experience because Brandon and Tim helped solve all the difficulties of going through a purchase in addition to being pleased with the vehicle and price.

So went to riverton to get a Hyundai genesis, and we were supposed to meet with Brandon but when we got there he was on the phone and passed us over to some new guy. When we went for a test drive he didn't know anything about the car (good thing we had been looking at it for a long time) so we went in to do the paperwork and trade in our elantra. Now you need to understand we are a young couple and this is only our 2nd time buying a car. So we finish the deal and go home. But the dealership asked for the title, which since we haven't bought cars a lot I thought we had it. Then after talking to our in laws they explained everything and so we get a call from the finance manager saying we need to fix this. But she says we should just take out a personal loan to pay off the elantra..... Are you kidding me!!!! No!! So we say well hey the sales guy never asked us if we had a loan with our elantra... Like seriously what salesperson sees a young couple and thinks oh ya they can have a brand new car totally paid off.... What!?!?!?! So now the dealership gets behind the salesperson and says we should have said something. Seriously!?!?! When we were doing the financing the lady said she saw we had another loan through a specific bank but she could get us a better deal somewhere else. So she knew. But then she said that she assumed it was for another car. So we got a lawyer friend involved and we had to go back in to rework the deal. Which they were refusing to let us get our car back and we're very rude to us the entire time!!!! So we go back in and guess who is finally there to help us.... Brandon! We actually got to work out a good deal and they kept saying so go write a good review on how awesome we are and mention Brandon! Well we never even worked with Brandon! So good job brandon, on doing nothing! Terrible dealership and we will not be coming back!

It was late when I walked into Riverton Hyundai but Wes Steele was willing to make my car buying experience the very best.. He made sure all my question were answered and did lengthy comparisons between buying a used or a new car within my budget. When I found I wasn't eligible to buy a new car Wes made sure all my concerns were answered regarding the Hyundai I wanted to buy. After I made my decision and the paper work completed and the car detailed and the Blue Tooth enabled I was able to drive it home that very night. Great dealership and Wes was great to work with.

We went there 3 times looking at a new vehicle, the last time we were ready to purchase. I had discussed what we were willing to pay. I had previously discussed with the Wes, the fact we did not want to waste our time if he could not work out the deal. He called me back and told me they could do the deal and even assured me it would be well worth our time to come. We made time on Saturday 6/13/15 to go there with a purchase in mind. When we got there, I drove the Sonata we were going to buy. We sat down and Wes told us he was going to get the paperwork. After about a 25 minute wait, the sales manager came back with him showed us what a great deal were getting at about $3,400 more than what we had agreed on with the salesman Wes. I don't like dealers that sly in the way they do business, I specifically told Wes we did not want to waste our time, but that's exactly what we did. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

We worked mostly with Esmaa. Although she said she was new...she was very knowledgeable, and went over all the features of the car. She programmed our phones syncing them with Bluetooth and explained how to sync the controls with our garage door opener.. Our new car was registered/licensed, washed and filled with gas before we left the lot. This is our first hybrid, so we are still learning. Through our first half tank of gas we got 42 mpg.

I worked with Brandon Spencer. I called ahead of time to let them know what I was interested in looking at. When I got to the dealership, he had two vehicles, in my price range, with the colors I wanted, slightly different models parked side by side so I could make an easy comparison. He helped me play with 3 car seats to see if/how they would fit in the back seat. When it came time for financing, he (and another guy I didn't catch his name) helped explain a few different options to me. I walked away with a brand new car, a payment within my budget (actually a touch lower than expected), and the interactions with all of the employees were light-hearted and laid back. When it's time to decide what to do about a new car, I will definitely check with them again.

I found a used car online I liked. The miles and year were much better than I was finding down south in Payson where I live. Being a single woman I was worried, but that wasn't necessary. Buying a car is often stressful and time consuming, although coming to Esmaa at Riverton Hyundai in Sandy was the greatest decision I could have made in doing so. I have never done business with a car sales rep. even remotely like her. She was very kind, honest and didn't waste my time or try and pull me around into anything I didn't want. She was very personable and put herself in my shoes and got me into a great car without stressing me out or pressuring me at all like the sales manager there made me feel, I believe his name was Chris. I went in two times looking for a car that I liked, but also something I could afford. They were very friendly and helpful in showing me what the best deal I could get was. We were also on a tight schedule the first time we went in and they were very accommodating and tried to be as quick as possible for us which we really appreciated. They even bumped up my yearly mileage from 10,000 a year to 12,000 a year which was a pleasant surprise. They were great to work with and I'm very happy with the car I ended up with!

Our experience was fantastic with our direct sales man. He was very friendly and treated us with great respect. However, we do wish that they took a little more time to show us how to use certain features of our vehicles after all the paper work was done. We did buy two vehicles for two separate families so our salesman was spread thin between us both. He did a wonderful job at working back and forth with the two families. Having a second hand helping him with the car details would have been helpful.

While doing an oil change, the dealership also did a 27 point inspection. The mechanics found a seal leaking on the alternator. The dealership replaced the alternator free of charge since it had been damaged by the oil leak and replaced the seal under the 10 yr/100,000 drive train warranty! A big thanks to Garreth and the mechanics for taking care of us.

Called to see what a price quote would be on a new Hyundai. The sales person Christopher's price was almost $2,000 higher than another dealer. When I told him that, he started berating the other dealer and why that wasn't true. I asked him to just give me his best price and not to down play the other dealer. He said he would get back to me. He called later and said the price on the car was what it was. Very easy not to deal with this kind of dealership.

My husband and I came in to look at a Hyundai Sonata. Scott Petersen was out sales person and was not high pressure. We didn't end up buying from Scott based upon our budget currently, but would refer him based on his knowledge and professionalism. He had a great sense of humor and loved his attitude. I found the Veloster online and even though it was the highest priced one by far, I figured I would be able to negotiate to get it in line with the few others out there. I met with a decent young man and he was pretty pleasant on the lot. I knew exactly what car I wanted, but he insisted on bringing me inside to do a needs assessment. Total waste of time, although the "Floor Manager" hank insisted it was their "process." Lol! All I wanted was to drive the car and perhaps purchase it. The car drove fine and I asked to talk price. The salesman was very scared and intimidated, and brought "Tim" out to talk to me. He said If I didn't give them my personal information we had "nothing more to talk about." I was stunned, as I didn't refuse anything at that point. I told Tim I'd be happy to give my name and number. He stated if I didn't give a credit application he would quote payments at 10%. I told him I had pre-arranged financing, and my rate was 2.49% for 60 months. He said it didn't matter, that they had a process. I asked Tim what pricing he was going to base the payments on, and he stated that "price doesn't matter!" This place fit every stereotypical expectation that exists! The salesman stated that the "good" manager would be in later, and to please come back. I felt bad for him, but there was no way I was going back after that. Its been three weeks and my Certified Veloster from another dealer has been wonderful, and so easy to buy.

Just an update on this situation. We contacted the dealership to try and work out a resolution only to be told by the parts manager Justin that the only way they will work will us is if I take down my case with BBB as well as the negative feedback that I have left them online. This practice by them is classic blackmail and is very illegal. I will update further when I have more info.I apologize as this may be long. We had a car broken in to and had keys stolen for a vehicle in the process. We contacted the Mitsubishi parts department for a replacement key which they had in stock. When we picked the key up and had it cut for the vehicle we were informed that it was the correct key for our vehicle (this was confirmed by Vin). That said that the key may need to be programmed but was most definitely the correct key. When we arrived home (40 miles away) we tried the key in the vehicle with no success. We were able to get another key by other means and contacted them to return the non working key. We have spoken to at least 3 different people at the dealership to get this returned with each of them being very uncooperative in the situation. Their written return policy of which I have copies of does not make any statement towards not being able to return the key. Getting anyone on the phone was difficult and once I had achieved this I was met with very rude responses. I was even hung up on by Kevin and Justin in a conference call. They need to honour their own policy and return the item.The people talked to at the dealership are as follows.Justin - Parts manager.Kevin Campbell - Owner.James Baird - District manager.

This was the first time I have ever been impressed with a car salesman or dealership. I really appreciated that working with our salesman was more like having a conversation with a friend rather than having someone give you their sales pitch. The test drive was great too. He reconized the things I appreciated in a vehicle and was sure to point out those features while we were driving. I took my hyundai santa fe in to get a leak fixed. I was told it was fixed. The next day, the leak was still there. I took it in an additional 7 times to get the leak fixed. Each time they either said "good news, we couldn't find a leak so it is fixed, or we found the leak and it is fixed." The next morning the leak was still there. After that, I took it to another dealer and the next day my car was fixed. No more leak. Riverton Hyundai did nothing but waste my time and the other dealer said there were all kinds of weird marks and chards of aluminum next to my oil pan where Riverton Hyundai was doing who knows what. Do Not use their service department!

We saw a vehicle listed for sale on the internet. We dont live in SL county, so I called ahead to make sure it had not sold, and that it would be available later that same day for us to look at. We decided to drive all the way out to Riverton to look at the vehicle. When we arrived, we were greeted by a first salesman. When we explained that we called ahead to look at a specific vehicle, we were informed - after a long wait - that the vehicle was in their shop and not available to look at, and that we had driven all the way out to thier shop on a false pretense. I understand that large dealerships have many people working together to prepare and sell cars, however we were very dissapointed in the efficency of communication between the service dept and the people we talked to on the phone. We were then passed off to a salesman named Michael who was determined to make us change our mind on the vehicle, our budget, and our timeline and would not let us leave until he had exhausted every possible idea he had. We would not change any of our parameters, and left the dealership frustrated, and annoyed with the way we had been treated. After that strenous evening, the phone calls contiuned at contiuous rate to the point of bi-weekly pestering from Michael.I am dissapointed in the lack of customer service that Riverton Hyundai employs as well as the unorganization that resulted int he entire mess.

I am a first time car buyer. I went in and looked at cars. I was shown a few and then one in particular caught my eye. I asked the sales associate about the car. He informed me that the tires were brand new and the car was just serviced. I had not driven the car much when I bought it as I car pool. As soon as I drove the new car, the alignment was way off and pulled significantly. The tire had a slow leak and when I took it in to have it looked at the guy at the tire store showed me all four tires and they are completely bald and old. I will have to get new tires within a few months! I called and emailed the dealership asking them to please give me the new tires I was told were on the car. They pretty much accused me of lying and told me it passed inspection! I asked if they would give me a free alignment and ONE new tire. They told me at their cost it would be around $400 for all tires. I just paid an arm and a leg for this car and was told something and got another and they want ME to pay for the tires?! I would NOT recommend this place at all! I must say the service man and finance manager were helpful and nice however they are not willing to make a good first time customer a returning customer.

This is the third new vehicle I've purchased from Riverton Hyundai, and the first two (2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport - 33k miles, 2012 Hyundai Accent - 14k miles) have been fantastic buys over time. Since the first time I continue to come back and ask for Josh, as he is no pressure, and straight forward. Getting numbers always seems to take longer there, but they sell a lot of vehicles and stay busy. But if you're going to make your second most expensive purchase (next to your home), you might want to be willing to invest a bit of time.There was a minor mix up in finance, but they corrected it without argument, and the deal was otherwise very smooth.

Sure, you can buy a new Hyundai at any Hyundai dealer. I choose Riverton Hyundai in Sandy because of its location to my home. My buying experience was superb! Had been test driving different cars for 2 weeks when I happened upon Riverton Hyundai. I wanted to test drive the Sonata and Elantra. Once I sat in the Sonata I knew that was the car for me. Jason and Dub were awesome salesmen. They explained things about the car that I cared about..i.e. they didn't focus on the stereo system or items of that nature because that just wasn't important to me. I highly recommend this dealership and give 5 stars to Jason and Dub. I've been back a few times because I had questions on the car, to pick up my plates, etc. and they have always been kind, courteous and willing to help me. I love my car and I'm so grateful to Jason and Dub. I will definitely be back to lease my next car. No question about that.Thanks guys!Penny

This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I bought my car and signed all the paperwork on a Friday. They told me I would be able to pick up my car the next day since it was going to be certified. When I arrived at the dealership on Saturday they told me I would have to wait, but it would surly be finished by Monday at 5 'o clock. I showed up at 5:30 and they informed me that I needed to wait another hour still before it would be ready. When I came back already frustrated. The person who was supposed to have my keys wasn't there and i waited for 30 minuets only to find out that had lost my keys! FINALLY I FIND OUT THAT MY KEYS WERE IN THE PARKING LOT BEHIND MY CARS BACK TIRES WHERE IT COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN STOLEN!! I just purchased a new Santa Fe Sport from Riverton Hyundai. I love this car. More than that I love the way I was treated from the time I walked in the door until now. They treated me like family. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. I asked to look and drive more than one car and it was no problem at all. The salesman (Brooks) was very knowledgeable. In addition I also met the new car manager (Shane) and floor manager (Joshua). They were also friendly and helpful. WE even took a few minutes to talk about our dogs.When I ran into some problems with my broken car at another dealership, The folks a Riverton Hyundai stepped in to assist in a resolution. When I discovered my mother purchased a new (but used) minivan I was a bit nervous. I currently live in DC and knew my mom had purchased this car without input from friends, family and/or our mechanic. Still, she loved it and was excited to have a car to accommodate our family of five, including a 10 month old, while we visited Utah for a memorial hike (sadly, my father passed away unexpectedly in October). While we agreed her van was wonderful, complete with DVD player and a host of bells and whistles any parent would be excited about, there were some needed repairs I felt my mother shouldnt shoulder. Living over 2,000 miles away and not knowing the folks from whom she purchased the car, I suspected shed been duped by a stereotypical used-car salesman. I became furious when I considered all that my mother had been through recently. Im not easily angered but I was ready to battle whoever may have taken advantage of her situation.Enter Scott Railsback, used car manager from Riverton Chevrolet. He completely disarmed me with his friendly, yet apologetic, approach. He explained that, while there are always unknowns when buying a used car, they certainly wouldnt have wanted to sell a customer a car that was unsafe. (What?!$&% What happened to the dodgy car salesman Id imagined???) Scott then sent me across the street to the Riverton Hyundai Suzuki Mitsubishi service center to meet with David Kelly (Assistant Service Manager) about the problems, but not before putting our family of 5 (remember, we were visiting from DC with our 3 kids ages 5 and under) into a loaner car perfectly suited for 3 car seats. Dave Kelly was equally nice, professional and earnest in his dealings with us. He checked-in with us every few hours to keep us apprised of diagnostics and repairs. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the van and was confident they could have it ready for my mother the next morning. As it turned out the van needed a whole new TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), a rarity in this model but a costly problem nonetheless. Riverton Chevrolet covered all costs of the repairs, were honest and professional in every way. When we returned the loaner car, one of Scotts employees helped move all of our car seats and thanked us for our business.I would recommend Riverton Hyundai whole heartedly when looking for your next vehicle! A class act for sure.

Purchased my Hyundai new from this dealership. Took it in for service. Tyler took the vehicle and was nice. Dustin called for me to get it, and he was a nightmare to deal with. Demeaning, rude, and actually accused me of lying! I needed the handle replaced and Tyler told me that he would find out if I needed to find the part at home. When I picked it up Dustin said that was like me bringing in my car without a bumper, and that Tyler didn't write it down and would not have said that to me. After he tried to reach him he said he didn't like MY attitude and to sign the paperwork and leave. I was baffled as I have never given any attitude and I am nervous at dealerships. Took it to Murdock Hyundai and the difference is astounding!!! They treat me like a person, fixed a wire instead of my odometer unit that Riverton said needed replacement, AND fixed the handle FOR FREE!!!!! MURDOCK HYUNDAI HAS MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE!!!! Riverton is the WORST CUSTOMER EXPPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

I went and test drove a brand new Hyundai Elantra and then I fall totally in love with the car and I was trying to work on the price of the vehicle with the sales lady that was helping me out and then this guy name Bill came show me bunch of number and the invoice of how much the dealership pays for the vehicle, shipment, extras. I was like wait the Manufactor suggestive retail price said $21115 and maybe you guys over pay for the car cause bill was trying to sale the car for almost $4000 more thatn the manufactir susgestive price, and then on top of that he asked me if I ever have financed a brand new car in the past and I said no I have not, and he respond that in that case I don't know nothing about the price of the car and since I said that probably Riverton Hyundai over paid for the car, he said if rivertong Hyundai over paid or not for the vehicle it was not my business... I think that was very rude of him and then I left... seriously bad bad bad experience

Came to this dealership in search for a new/used vehicle. The salesman was polite but I was not impressed with the way he acted. He treated my daughter and I like we didn't know what we wanted. So we test drove a Mitsubishi Outlander which was a bit scary. As we came off of the freeway it seemed to be smoking and had a real strong odor coming off of the engine, (not oil as I know what that smells like). I would've gotten a vehicle there but I am now skeptical of the way this dealership is ran. So I went to a different dealership and bought something else.

Winter hit and my commuter vehicle with 170k miles just wasnt working as well as she use to. After researching on line to find a vehicle that would fit my needs and deciding that a new Hyundai would be the best fit for me and family, I went down to Riverton Hyundai to test drive some of the new vehicles.Per the recommendation of a family member I asked for sales person Brian Harper to assist me in my quest for a new ride.We looked at several new vehicles and after lots of questions, comparisons, test drives, and laughs Brian directed me towards a used vehicle. Not only was the car an upgrade model of what I was looking for, it was a current year (2012) model, had low miles, and had all the bells and whistles (minus the nitro tank). All for less $$ than the basic model I had originally intended on getting.After deciding this was the vehicle for me, Brian and I reviewed the car to find any issues that would need correcting before purchasing the vehicle. Brian pointed out items that others would try and cover up or overlook and even had the maint. department check the tires to see why the low tire pressure light was on. They ended up replacing a tire that had a nail in it.I was very impressed with the Brian, the maintenance department, and the loan officer. All were incredibly friendly and helpful. The event of buying a car was long (as they always are) but I have never had such an enjoyable time while purchasing a car.

Not only can she not not be professional she is a horrible communicator and needs better training on the job as well as working with the public in general How can a dealership for one pull bait and switch, tell a customer everything has gone through, and then say then unappropriately yell at the customer and try to belittle them! This is the worst experience ever not to mention they will call the cops and then have the customer placed in restraints because they want feel "threatened" by the customer who has slightly raised their voice because of the fact that the salesman inappropriately spoke of the customers in a way that is so distasteful and disrespectful. Shane which is the so-called manager there was so rude and continued to cut the customer off and berate him is the worst manager ever in the eyes of the public and it is sad to know that he cannot "deal with an upset customer" which is the way he described it and without a doubt they cannot be trusted with any financial issues.

Basic bait and switch. They told me it was a done deal, then a week later tried to go back and say they couldn't verify i was a full time employee. I work for the Utah national guard, so i know for a fact they didn't try and verify my work. Secondly when i returned the car they charged me for "damage" Then when i expressed how i felt about it, they called the cops and refused to work it out with me. By far the worse experience Ive ever had or heard of. Their finance lady has absolutely NO people skills. Shari is rude and very disrespectful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Could not believe how they treat a veteran.

I was totally anxious to go get a new car but heard great things about Hyundais but the moment I walked in everyone was very friendly and gave me the information I needed. My sales person was patient and explained everything. Even the finacing was easy and the price was great. Needless to say I not only got a great new car but made some nice acquaintences as well. Communication was terrible between the sales manager, the salesman, the finance manager, the service department and us. At our arrival, they were very kind and helpful. However, when it came to the negotiation and paperwork stages it become a completely different experience. It turned into the typical "used car experience," where you feel pressured to buy, they won't let you leave, they keep having to 'see if their manager will go for this' even though the numbers weren't where we wanted them. It was a long, stressful process. But when we finally got what we were expecting and agreed to buy it wasn't relayed to the finance manager and the final paperwork. So it was a fight all over again trying to get everything in the paperwork that we thought we had already agreed upon. If the car hadn't been exactly what we were looking for we would have left on several occasions.

Me and my mom came in on a very dark and cold night and was met by Brian just as we got out of my car. He was very chearful and friendly.We were both looking to buy a New car and even though he "specialized" in used cars he went out of his way to help us when the New Car sales people were busy, and I am glad he did. We knew what car's we wanted and he took us to them so we could pick out what features we were looking for without showing us everything we didn't need or want. I would say Brian could also "specialize" in New Car sales, he was so Knowledgable!Brian had noticed a couple inperfections on my car and pointed them out to me when in fact I might not have seen them until after I had got home. He made sure it was taken care of to my satifaction. I would also like to thank the Manager on that night for not making us feel like we needed to hurry and get out the door way after closing time(sorry I am not good with names)and I would like to thank the nice gentleman who did our Retail Installment Contract and Security Agreement for his time and patients(sorry again I forgot your name) but your candy on your desk was awesome! In the end my mom ended up getting a 2012 Hyundai Sonata loaded vs the 2013 Hyundai Sonata, because of all the discounts offered it was a deal she couldn't pass up. I ended up with a 2013 Hyundai Accent with every feature I wanted and within our budgets.I would recomend Brian and your Dealership to anyone who was looking to buy a New or Used car and If I ever buy another car it will be with your Dealership!Thank you all who help us out with a wonderful experience in car buying.Debbie Gette & Erma Simpson

I have had some really horrid experiences in my car buying experience. This was among the best. While a bit flamboyant I found the salesman to be extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle (Hyundai Santa Fe) and extremely thorough in his explanation of the features and selling points of the car. He laborously went through each pamphlet and additional marketing feature such as BlueLink and XM Radio, etc. The loan officer was also extremely helpful in explaining the financing and answering my questions. She too should be commended!!

Brian was very helpful, he helped us set some standards of what I was looking for, he then showed us some cars while always finding the shortest distance for my grandmother whom was having a hard time getting around. He picked up very quickly on what kind of car I was looking for! When we found the right car and found out that it was a stick he went out of his way to help me learn how to drive it. He is absolutely AMAZING! He takes good care of his clients, and is always going out of his way to satisfy their needs! I LOVED him!

This is my second purchase from Riverton Hyundai. My first visit, I have to admit was not warm and fuzzy. But this group of Gentlemen I worked with last night changed the car buying experience for me. I would HIGHLY recommend searching out Phillips Cooper upon arrival to work with. He has a great personality and charming spirit and I trusted him completely, I was at total ease for the 3.5 hours I spent there. Kody Campbell the Sales Manager was equally as helpful and extremely patient and easy to work with. Meeting with Rob in their Fianance Department was like hooking up with an old friend to catch up. He was thurough in explaining all of the paperwork and numbers, I think just a good guy all around. Lastly, was Mike the Floor Manager, the kind of guy you want to sit down and have a beer with. I am not techy at all, but Mike hooked me up and by the time I left I knew the difference between blu-link, blu-tooth, all of it. Nice man. All just really went out of their way to make me comfortable were patient and I felt like they truly wanted me to have a positive car buying experience! They were successful, I love my car, I was thrilled when I left the Dealership.

What can I say? Brian took better care of me than I could expect. His patience and willingness to go out of his way was more than I have ever experienced in car sales. I have only bought one other brand new car in my life and it was less than an ideal experience. Brian Harper renewed my faith in sales guys.So much so, that despite the fact that I demanded a specific car (which didn't meet my real needs) Brian went out of his way to fix the issues I created even after I took the car home. He didn't take the "I told you so" route that I expected. Instead he made sure that customer satisfaction was the highest priority and he went the extra mile to make me happy.Now I am driving a ridiculously fun Veloster and couldn't be happier. In fact, Brian called to see if I was enjoying the car as much as the night I took it home and I told him I love it more each day!I would not hesitate, (and don't) to send friends and family in to Riverton Hyundai to see Brian for a great deal.

i came in looking for a car and a good price but what I got was so much more. The time and attention I received was definitely worth writing about. Brian spent time with me looking over a multitude of options in price ranges I needed and really tried to find me the car with all the options I wanted. I was blown away by the knowledge of not only his own dealership but of those around him in the Auto Mall. We found the perfect car at the right price and I was impressed over and over again by what i would describe as spectacular customer service. In an industry that usually gets a bad rap with pushy sales people and commissions on cars people cannot afford I was pleasantly surprised at this complete 180 from what I have come to expect. We dealt for years with Jiffy Lube and I was always dissatisfied with their service. I was left with dripping oil after an oil change, new windsheild wipers that flew off as I drove out to head home, and it's just never been good. I am so happy with the Riverton service crew. They are always happy and treat me with respect. I have never had any drips on my driveway after a service, and even the waiting area is nicer. I will not ever return to Jiffy Lube and I love my Hyundai and my personal service center.

If you like taking 3 days to buy a car and being ignored by salesman this is the dealership for you!!! We went to look at a used car, but met with the finance department first. They took 4 hours to get us qualified (their slogan home of 15 minute pricing is a joke) and nobody updated us on the status. When we were shown a car, they didn't even ask what we were looking for and put us in something that was not a fit for our family. When we said no to that car they tried to get us to take it home for the night to change our minds! Then when we said we needed to go to get my husband to school the finance girl would not quit talking and let us out the door. We felt they didn't respect our time, but we set an appointment to come back the next day since we had already qualified for a loan. When we came back they had two cars to show us, but one was not a fit and the other was in the shop so again we spent all day there waiting to even test drive the car. When we mentioned we were going to leave to eat, they said they would buy us lunch and never did. Then when we test drove the car which they had said was in our price range--we loved it. We started the pricing game and they came back with payments DOUBLE what we had asked for! We were ready to leave and they brought in one of the finance guys (don't know his name) but he was arrogant and rude and said he was going to scare us into buying a car! This staff has no respect and does not follow through on promises. I love my new car, but I will never use this dealership again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Just so you know, we bought our Hyundai Azera from Riverton Hyundai and have been very happy with the car. We take it to the dealership for all services. My husband just began working as a salesman for Ken Garff Honda 3 months ago, but that has absolutely no bearing on my recent visit for services to my car. I was have a problem with my sonata yesterday. i took it to the dealership it was purchased from. the service person picked up his computer pad and scaned in my car info. i said i would not all was start oh i sounds like its the battery. we can prorate you one. i asked if they could do it then oh no we have 8 cars ahead of you. i use my car for work. i needed it done then. i told him i would just go to another the other dealership. i went to a autoparts store. purchase a new battery? the car still would not start. i called Tyler at Riverton hyundai service department. he said that i sounds like its the starter he told me to call roadside assistant he gave me the number. he told me they could get my car in the morning (today) tow company got to me within 20 min. not the 40min i was first quoted Tyler called me a little after 7 this morning to get more info. he called me back about 10 and said that my car was done it was the starter motor. bought a car a year ago they said they would clean out the smoke smell and touch up the paint, they did not do either, almost a year later my remote door opener died on me so i tried to use my key and it did not work on the door or the trunk lock, was out of cell phone service so had to wait for a ride and go find a new battery for my remote door opener, then get a ride back to be able to get into my car the key works in the ignition but not the door or trunk, how can a dearship sell a car to somebody with out proper keys.Noel Cook

Worst dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After making a purchase of a brand new vehicle the "care'...lol immediately ceased. I made a purchase and had to wait for the car to get here. They were very good at accepting my down payment and not returning my calls. Some calls to this day have not been returned from more than 3 weeks ago. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor by letting me purchase a car from them. They also informed me that "the dealership" was going to eat the transportation charge for the car having to be shipped here from another state, which i think they shouldn't have even mentioned.....once again trying to make me feel privileged to be able to do business with them i assume. You would think after spending $42,000 at a dealership that they would bend over backwards and do anything in their power to help you...apparently not. I have purchased many cars in the past and have never been treated like this before by any place for any reason, especially when spending this large of a sum of money. "Building lasting relationships"? I think not riverton, you have done quite the opposite. I WILL NEVER recommend this dealership to anybody, unless you are looking to get screwed over, or only if you want attention when you're out looking on the lot and then never again. If you enjoy being treated like trash or less after the sale is made then look no further, riverton mitsubishi is the dealership for you. On the other hand if you would like a nice pleasurable car buying experience then run don't walk as fast as you can away from riverton.
