I came to this location after visiting another Hyundai and let me tell you coming here was such a great experience. The man who helped me was named George and was such an angel being so understanding and helpful. The finance manager Richard was very nice as well. Don't even know where to start. First of all, getting an honest, straight forward estimate of a car's price without going there in person was close to impossible. They also advertise with great deals online but once you actually get there in person those deals suddenly don't exist anymore because of the current situation. I get it but... why would you falsely advertise them on you website then? The salesman tried everything in the salesmen playbook, lying at every corner. Yes, there is a markup due to the chip shortage, no problem. The funny thing is the salesman first explained that just to say 10min later: "well, we actually don't do our mark up because of the chip shortage! we are not affected by it. It is only because we sell sooo many cars that we can't keep up". What?... so Hyundai Keyes is for some reason immune to what is happening in the entire world? Some very strange way of trying to hype up the dealership. Then trying to rush me into a credit check without even asking if I want to go forward... that was the moment where I turned around and said good bye to this dealership. I understand that the job of a car dealership/salesman is to sell cars. But at least you could be honest and straight forward about it.

Leo was just great, our time buying a car went by quick. I needed a safe car for my family, since Leo is expecting a daughter in January, he knew exacrly what I was looking for. a friend recommended me to Leo, and am I glad he did. I walked in to look at a car I saw on the internet, used. We did a test drive and my salesperson, Imraz, asked if I was interested in anything else and proceeded to just show me some nice cars which I either said yay or nay to. Everyone was super nice. NO one was pushy. I ended up making a deal to my liking because I was just really impressed with this place.

The buying experience was ok. Very unhappy that not even a week later the car is being serviced for electrical problems and that I had to make 2 trips because loaner was unavailable. Everyone is nice, mostly upset that I'm having to take the car back for repairs so soon.

I came into the dealer not knowing what Hyundai has to offer, I've never sat in one. I made a apt with Leo first. He was just amazing. I was blown off my feet when he showed me what they offer. Michael was amazing. He made my experience great. Not only was he really friendly before the sale, but even after. I returned a couple times for my navigation chip and each time he was there to help with open arms. If it wasn't for him, I would have been upset with the lack of organization from each department. Nobody communicates with one another. We went up and down the elevator to find the correct chip for my car and each department didn't really seem like they wanted to help. They blew Michael off which made me a little upset because he was very nice to everyone. Regardless, I am very happy and blessed that we had gotten handed off to Michael.

Our experience with Keyes Hyundai was generally good--we enjoyed interacting with Leo, his manager, and the financial staff. Leo was accommodating and tried hard to find the right car for us. Apparently, red Hybrid Sonata Limiteds with Ultimate packages are rare! Anyway, we ended up with the car we wanted for a reasonable price--perhaps not the absolute lowest possible, but given the rarity of the car, we were generally satisfied. We had a good test drive, and the staff was attentive to us with offered amenities. The overall process was very long, mainly because of the difficulty of negotiating a dealer trade for the car we wanted. We left Keyes that night without our new car, but with the deal consummated...our new Sonata appeared a couple of days later, ready to go. I think the price negotiation could have been a bit more transparent, however, it was far, far from the worst I've experienced, and very nearly the best. I would suggest being as straightforward as possible with the customer, including an itemized price list that includes dealer cost and customer cost for each item. I realize this goes against common practice and tradition, but I think in the long run it will benefit the dealership and generate repeat satisfied customers. One other criticism: when we first contacted Keyes, we were told that the exact car we wanted was in stock. When we arrived, we were told it had been sold. I think this was due to an internal communication problem rather than a deception, so that could be improved. Anyway, in summary, the staff was good, the price was generally fair, we got nearly the exact car we wanted, and were overall satisfied with the process.

Firstly, I felt I was treated in a professional manner when I went to this dealership. However, when it came to price and financing I felt I was pressured into adding options that I did not need. Because I felt pressured I did not adequately research the add ons they were pitching me, such as the KARR security system and additional warranty because the manufacturers warranty "doesn't cover everything". I was also told to drive the car off the lot, which I now know is because once you do you are unable to alter any deals or change your mind. I was very unhappy to learn I grossly overpaid for the car I received according to the average in Southern California. I've also been waiting for a response from Brooke for a month regarding a financing question. This was my first car purchase on my own and I don't completely fault the dealership because it's their job to get as much money as possible from prospective buyers, but I don't feel like I was "taken care of" and have now educated myself for any future interactions with car dealerships.

It was a great experience. I thought I wasn't going to get a deal but the hyndai team worked swiftly to get us a good deal for a great car. We ended up leaving with a brand new 2017 car.

The car was a good price, a good deal, however, there was a manufacture rebate that the dealer was acting as if they were discounting the car which they were not. It was a good price, but the sales person should have been clear. If I did not understand the lease numbers it is clear they would have taken advantage.

This is my 4th Hyundai with this dealership and I swear, with every car I get, the service just keeps on getting better. The main reasons why I choose Keyes Hyundai every time is because they have a much wider selection of colors and packages, in addition to MUCH better pricing than any other Hyundai dealership. Overall, the Hyundai Sonata is a nice car when it comes to performance, efficiency and design. I wish the rattling sound inside the car's glove compartment or front right dashboard ( where ever it is ) can be fixed.

I needed to get a replacement vehicle for my son's 2009 Elantra, and researched the pricing for new Elantras on line through various sites, then checked the availability of the exact model with the exact specifications (color, trim level, etc.) and found the car at this dealership. I contacted Ruby Chu, their internet sales manager, via email and within thirty minutes, we had located the vehicle and agreed on a price and discussed all the financing options and rebates, etc. When I arrived at the dealership later that evening, the car was already out in front and prepped to go, and Robert Mai, her associate, handled the actual sale, again with professionalism and without any snags or surprises. The finance department also handled their end of the deal promptly and without any upselling, and the entire process took less than 45 minutes. It was a pleasure to deal with professionals who understand their product and the customer relationship. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying or leasing a Hyundai.

Staff is friendly, always ready to assist. They always offer drinks and some snacks. The place itself is immaculate. It was brand new when I bought my first Hyundai and it still looks new even though it has been a few years. The dealership is doing away with some paperwork and digitizing them with what appeared to me as state of the art equipments. This is a place I look forward in going to.

I went to Keyes Hyundai of Van Nuys to test drive the Tucson Fuel Cell EV and found it to be everything I expected. Robert Mai covered all the features of the vehicle, fueling and the concierge service. I left feeling that I had a firm understanding of what this vehicle and Keyes had to offer. I returned a short time later and placed my order. The vehicle was delivered in about a week. Anthony Lucas was very thorough when going over the lease agreement and made sure to answer any and all questions. I've been amazed by this vehicle and am looking forward to a pleasant experience over the life of the lease.

Didn't know what set him off but I walk out of dealership following the experience only to be convinced to return and make a deal with the General Sales Manager. Things went much smoother dealing with Gen Sales Mgr. Ultimately, bought the car I wanted with no hassles.

Steve was the best person to work with in my experience of buying cars, he was a very professional man and certainly helped me and my family find a car within my budget and at a very reasonable price. I am a businesswoman and his customer service was up to par and I appreciate him for that. I purchased a pre-owned Veloster in January. The sales experience was on par with any car buying experience (back and forth for hours but finally got a decent deal). This review is for my recent visit to service. I have had the car just under 4 months and the tint on the rear window has developed large "finger bubbles" I took it to a tint shop to get the front windows done and asked if they could somehow "fix" the bubbles. Tint shop guy stated that it was not "fixable" and would be ~$100 to replace. He suggested that since I had the car for such a short time that I take it to the dealership which I did today. The service rep took a look at it and stated that he could have one of the detail guys pull it off. I was waiting for him to finish his sentence so I finished for him..."and replace it, right?" He said almost smugly, "No, they're not going to replace it, it's aftermarket." OK - I'm not an idiot, I fully understand that it's aftermarket and technically, they probably have no liability here. However, being one the most expensive investments people make and as a gesture of good customer service, I certainly expected more than this guys apathetic attitude.

This is the best car buying experience...ever! Friendly, professional, attentive without being overbearing. I bought a Porsche Panamera recently and the two situations don't even compare. Way better overall service at Keyes Hyundai. Brian Sobel went way out of his way to find a car off lot that fit my mom's needs (this car was purchased for her), and Robert Mai worked very fast with financing to get my car processed and me on the road to drop off the car to my mom. I am a mom of a two year old toddler and I do not have the time or energy to go car shopping with a terrible two baby! I live close by to another Hyundai dealership but they didn't have the car in the color I wanted and they were trying to convince me to get another color. I know what I want so I called Keyes spoke to Steve and told him the exact car i was looking for and my budget. I told him I'm a serious buyer but shopping with a toddler is not a good time for me. He worked with the general manager David Kohan and they were able to call me back within hours with exact numbers and payments for the exact car I wanted. I filled out the app online they got me approved i drove to the dealership signed the contract and was out in less than an hour! Literally took less time than a trip to the grocery store. I'm extremely happy with the service I got the price and the dealership as a whole. From the sales person to the manager to finance and delivery of the car everyone was very friendly! My overall experience at this dealership was above average, mostly due to Jason's practical, prompt and attentive manner of selling me a car. My experience with the service department was above average in that the mechanic and service person were consistent with their estimated service time and were not aggressive. I felt they listened to my needs and addressed them. However, there was a discrepancy between the reception's and service department's information when I called to try to make an appointment. While the receptionist invited me to drop in, with no need to make an appointment because "they weren't busy," I found myself waiting and being told by the service dept. I should have made an appointment because there was a long wait. I felt deceived. But once the car was in repair and I proceeded to trade it in early (upon a salesperson's recommendation) for a new lease, things moved more smoothly and quickly. Ultimately, the experience turned out good.

I bought a brand new 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited back in November 12,2015 and within 2 weeks, 600 miles, it broke down on me in the middle of an intersection. This was my second incident with the car having issues, first was a side bumper installed improperly that it exposed wires. I expected the car to work like to new so I was not expecting it to break down on me in the middle of the road where I almost experience my first accident. I was loyal to Toyota all my life however I was willing to move and try a different car brand, which was Hyundai, but unfortunately my view of the brand was not enhanced with the experience I had. I have spoken to Michelle, and Hyundai Western Regional Office, Mariel, regarding my car and so far nothing has changed and I would not mind a new car if it meant assuring my safety as I am scared of driving the car, which is why I drive it cautiously. This leads to me stressing out driving the car as oppose to enjoying a new car. So far, I am very disappointed with the dealership and the brand, where I guess they will only take action if something serious has happened to me. The car itself proved to be bad within the two incidents since other things can break down. My family and I are very upset with this matter, and here we are, willing to get another Hyundai Branded Car for my siblings, and recommending the brand to our family who are loyal to Toyota and Mercedes and to the Keyes Company, but that won't happen anymore due to the experience I've had, and the perspective I have of the brand and the dealership has changed.Update: I found out that there are 5 recalls ,taking it for service, on my car since 2014 and none of it has been fixed. BUYERS BE AWARE!! Make sure to look up the VIN number on Hyundai's Recall website to see if the vin number of the car you are purchasing is good otherwise you will have the same issues as me. You would think they would fix the problems with the car prior to selling it. I have spoken to Hyundai Corporation and they are now looking at the issue and will update me soon. Just be careful cause I don't want anyone to experience what I have been going through with a brand new car.

On Friday, I negotiated a purchase price on the phone with Ruby Chu, and after 6 hours, she still had not e-mail me the contract numbers (taxes, registration fee, etc.). On Saturday, I e-mailed her what I thought the numbers should be, and she said in an e-mail "My manger says we can do that deal for you". I applied through their website for financing, and on Monday at 9:00 am, I had my daughter go to the dealership to give the down payment. At 10:00 am, I spoke with David Kohan who was supposed to produce the contract. He said he would give it to Ruby to review with me. Over the next few hours, I left messages with Ruby and David, and they did not return my call. By 2:00 pm they still had not provided me a sales contract, so I called back and talked with Darin Lawrence, a sales manager, and he got Ruby to pay attention to the deal. Ruby did not know some of the numbers on the contract, so she had me talk to Manny Pratheepmanowong. I confirmed the numbers with Manny, and he said he could fax me a copy of the sales contract within 30 minute (3pm). By 4:00 pm, still no contract, so I called back. All the Sales Managers were in a meeting, and I ended up talking with Cecil (?), a finance manger. She said she could see the deal, and would print the contract ASAP as I waited on the phone. A few minutes later Ruby got on the phone and said they were not interested in completing the sale. I then asked to speak to a manager, and Darin got on the line (I thought he was in a meeting), and he said the same thing. I ended up complete the sale with Glendora Hyundai. Glendora did what they said they would do.

Hyundai cars are great. They sell themselves. Too bad there is not a self serve area. I would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership or financing through HMFUSA. The majority of the service department personnel keep you waiting a long time before they engage you and it seems they are never happy to see you. Service tends to take a very long time to complete. The sales people I have dealt with are ok at best. I kick myself for making another purchase through this organization.

Keyes Hyundai was very friendly the moment you walk through the door. You are not crowded with different sales people, but only approached by one smiling sales person. I knew what I wanted in advance, and they walked me through the pro's and con's of the car. They gave me other options if I didn't like the one I was looking at. After a lengthy test drive of learning how to drive a hybrid, I was brought to the finance process. I was worried about this at first, but when they sat me down, they made it as easy and quick as possible. Within a few hours time I walked away with a brand new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited.

This is first negative review I have ever written, but I've had enough. I've gotten sick from the car I leased here and am considering legal action at this point.I leased a 2013 Sonata 2 years ago and it's been a HORRIBLE experience. I've tried countless times to get numerous issues resolved through this dealership and their corporate website to no avail. Here are the top 4 issues that no new car owner should have to deal with. These are also 4 things that they were not able to fix or even assist with.1. A horrible moldy, damp smell that blasts from the vents. It literally smells like a combination of pee and rotten food. It made me sick and caused respiratory issues.2. The inability to connect to my phone via bluetooth. It repeatedly drops calls when it does work, which is a horrible situation to be in when you rely on your phone for work.3. Stereo software that was incompatible with an iPhone that came out BEFORE the 2013 car. It actually causes the phone to restart and sometimes it won't even recognize it as a device when it's plugged in for media/music. Their software is so bad that it messes up apple's software...I have no issues with my phone when it's not in that car.4. Horrible gas mileage. They promised 28 city/highway....I average 16.5. That's worse than my '99 Camry that I traded in. Hyundai was sued a year after I leased my car by the US government for fuel economy standards.nytimes.com/2014/11/04/uI bought my car with the promise that my salesman would always be available via text or by phone. He quit three months later and the service manager I've been dealing with multiple times could not care less. No one even cares to listen to the issues and it's difficult to get their attention.When I took it to maintenance with these issues, they sprayed it with air freshener...the mold and smell came back within a few hours. They told me not to use the "max air" setting as that could be causing the smell. If I'm not allowed to use the setting, why does it exist? I stopped using it anyway, the smell remained and they offered no other advice or service.They also told me that my phone would never work with the car and that there would be no upgrade in the software (aka it will NEVER work), and they told me that the gas mileage checked out fine even though it's 12 mpg less than what they advertised. I would NEVER have bought this car had I known that any one of these issues would be a problem. I tried contacting Hyundai through their corporate website looking for help, but they gave me nothing. I reached out with a detailed review and all they did was tell me to take it back to the dealership. When I explained that I had tried that before, they offered to make the maintenance appointment for me and that was it. Nothing more.I understand that I may have received a lemon of a car, but their customer service has been embarrassingly awful. I'm (literally) sick of this car and would rather drive it off a cliff than pay the thousands that they want for an early termination. My car is only at 13k miles after 2 years and it's in great shape. Going with this dealership and Hyundai in general has been a huge disappointment and one of my biggest regrets.

Went in to trade in my old car which was a lease with 5 months remaining for payment, They told me they cant suck those 5 payments up so they will put the 5 remaining payments into my new lease payments. Turns out im paying more for no reason, I get an additional bill stating i still owe 5 months payment on my old car when they said the reason im paying more monthly with my new car is because they put the additional 5 payments into this. Theyre crooks!!! charged me for an extra key and never even got it. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

The sales people don't always know the specifics to the vehicles, but they work as a great team. I found that unanswered questions were researched and answers provided. I was quite satisfied in that they met the deal I could get at another dealership, and even sweetened it a bit to sell me the car. I was well treated and very comfortable during my entire purchase. If during initial processing, I'm missing any document, I should not be able to obtain lease. Your dealership pulled off a stunt that I never would have expected, but should have seen when signing. They got it past me and I am ashamed. We agreed on $200 plus tax for the monthly payment, which would make the payment roughly $218. The paperwork stated $226 per month. So, the dealership got way with ripping me off for $8 per month. Your company must need the $8 more than me so enjoy it. You will never see another penny from me or anyone I know. The dealership was clean and everyone acted nicely, but there is ZERO relationship when there is no trust.

Jeez! There are a lot of bad reviews. Anyway, I had a very easy experience buying a car at Van Nuys Keyes Hyundai. I was here on a Sunday morning (I didn't know they opened later on sundays) and nobody was here. I decided to look around and see if I can find the car I was looking for. At around 9:30am I saw that guys were starting to fill balloons and stuff and steve greeted me and asked if we needed help. He helped me find the car which was parked in the back because it had just had a tire replaced. He says he thinks somebody ran over a nail with it. I ended up driving the car home in a couple hours. Very friendly staff. Rest assured I will be coming to buy cars from Keyes from now on. Go see my man Steve in the used car department and Fedy in finance!

I came to this dealership this afternoon for a Base Elantra. They didnt have the car. They have many of the Elantra SE and thats what we tried negotiating. We finalized at $189 a month at $0 down. Moments later, they found a base model and wanted me to get that Base model instead. Louigi was the sales manager. He changed his mind about selling me the SE model. It was a terrible experience. I ended up walking away. Louigi is a terrible sales manager without a customer service experience. This is an example of bait and switch form of selling.

My family bought three cars here, Sonata limited edition for my husband in 2012 from Richard Chan, a certified Santa Fe awd in 2013 for my daughter from Manny Wong and a Sonata turbo with the panorama sunroof in 2014 from Steve Chung. I mean for the love of God it's a business transaction. I am in marketing for a home goods manufacturing company and I can tell you right now that every business transaction that has ever been made in the history of the planet has it's high points and it's low points. I don't understand why people get so upset. NEGOTIATION sometimes take a while and when both parties agree you have a deal. I came in shopping for a used car with my daughter about 6 months ago. We were in an accident where we totaled our brand new Camry. Originally I wanted to go back to Toyota but my daughter did some research on a couple Hyundai models and we liked the fact that it has 10 years of warranty and honestly I hate the over aggresive copy cat lexus styling that the newer Toyotas have. We test drove 4 cars before I picked out a 2014 Hyundai Sonata with the limited edition package. He even called me on my birthday to offer a free carwash. I brought my husband with me and when I got to the dealership I found out that Steve was promoted to the internet fleet department! Congratulations! Anyway my husband ended up leasing a 2014 Santa Fe. Steve had us in and out of the dealership in under 1 hour. Amazing. My family will never buy a car outside of Keyes Hyundai ever. Thank you Steve!

I recently purchased a car here in OCT 2014 and in less than two months my 2015 Veloster had a major issue. The service department didnt get back to me until a day later to tell me what was wrong with the car and I had to literally keep calling to try and get a answer after 5 attempts to John and Miles and my sales man and no answer my friend finally went for me while I was at work and the advisor was sitting on the order the car hadnt been diagnosed nothing had been done. Its like pulling teeth with these people then later that evening I finally got a call from John and he said that my engine was bad and they have to replace the whole engine. I still havent got my car back. I strongly suggest to go elsewhere for a car this place has really bad service in every department and false promises, I never bought a Hyundai before and when I get another car next year it certainly will not be a Hyundai the deal wasnt even that great Im stuck paying payments on a car I dont even have and have to worry if something else will mess up on this car. My excitement for this car lasted all but 2 months for a 2015 Veloster, I guess these people really just care about making a sale at any cost even selling cars with engine problems . They dont even deserve one star. Happy holidays.

I just purchased a '14 Sonata from Moe S. Great sales guy...did everything via email the night before actually purchasing. He had the car washed and was in and out of the place just after an hour. I got what I wanted and appreciated the research / paperwork he did the night before, after traditional working hours. I recommend him to help with the purchase of a Hyundai. He is motivated and respectful at the same time.

After getting an on-line quote from CR/True Car, I got the cold shoulder once I indicated that I would not be financing/leasing with them (i.e. no back end profit). Classic bait and switch. Don't waste your time (especially if you have your own financing or are paying cash).

I have worked with John shaw every time I Have had my car serviced at Keyes Hyundai. I can't think of one complaint everything has always been up to my standards and I will continue to come to Keyes for my service and repairs. John always makes sure my car is kept in tip top shape so I can have my car running for a very long time time.

I was driving my son to school and the car started to shake from the engine area of the car. I pulled over and the check engine light came on and luckily I was close to Keyes Hyundai. I drove in to the service area without an appoinment and Marc greeted me and asked how he could help. I told him about the problem and he checked me in right away. My son was with me and Marc was very nice to him- he gave my son a pair of Hyundai sunglasses and a light up necklace which my son loved. Marc turned a somewhat scary and frustrating situation in to an easier one. He arranged for a shuttle van to take my son and I home. The driver was polite and drove us home within minutes. It was only about two hours later that Marc called telling me what the problem was and that it would be fixed shortly. About an hour later he called saying the car was ready to be picked up. They replaced a coil and even washed the car for me. He again arranged for a shuttle van to pick me up and I was back at the dealership before noon. Marc again greeted me and I sgned the work order for the part which was under warranty and I was off to continue my day. The entire process was made easy by Marc and the drivers which seems to be the way Keyes Hyundai operates. I would recommend Keyes Hyundai for service and if possible try and talk to Marc Pasco but it seemed like all the people at Keyes were great.

I am a quiet, young, Indian, student, woman usually going to the dealer or any car related thing is intimidating. This time however it was different. Chip was very friendly and immediately puts people at ease. He clearly explains everything being done to your car. It was very quick and easy getting the service on my car. I have being going to Keyes Hyundai since I bought my car in 2007. The car is doing great and the service here is great too.

Getting your car repaired is not always an enjoyable experience. Keyes made it very painless for me. John was able to get my car repaired quickly so I could be back on the road ASAP. My car is how I do my business so this is very important to me. Kudos to Keyes Hyundai for the great service!

I have a 2011 Genesis Coupe that needed service and I heard about Keyes Hyundai having great customer service. As soon as I arrived i was greeted by Jonh Shaw. I was impressed with how courteous and helpful he was. I was taken care of right away. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and my vehicle got serviced promptly. I also want to thank the tech that worked on it Ricky Robles. He did an amazing job and i am grateful for keeping me on the road!I definitely recommend Keyes Hyundai to any owner looking for great customer service! Thanks!

I had very bad experience at LAX Hyundai, Corporate customer service contacted Keyes, they not only took our problems and fixed all of the issues that LAX created , but also followed up on all of the problems and either fixed or investigated them to good outcome.We came for service of our Veracruz, but turned around and also negotiated and bought a 2013 Veloster from them.We hope this level of service will continue.

When I came in to get my Sonata checked up, I had no clue what I was doing. Marc was incredibly helpful from the minute I stepped into the dealership and I was so impressed by his extensive knowledge and his amount of professionalism throughout the entire process. Had a small problem with my Sonata. Went to Keyes. Matt greeted me right away with big smile and handshake. Even with no appointment he got my car in the shop quick. Told me what I need, let me know it will be done the next day. i come in the next day, car is there on the driveway waiting for me after being nicely washed. I purchasd my 2011 Elantra from Keyes Hyundai in March 2011. The sales representative was helpful and made my buying experience easy. The price was competitive and answered all my questions. However, the car did not comewith an electronic rearview mirror or a spare tire, so. I had to purchase both afterwards. These options should be made available in newer models. In the 2 years that I have owned the car I have had no problems only bringing it in for routine maintenance. The service department at Keyes has been helpful and friendly and has always delivered my car at the time promised clean and washed. I would recommend Keyes to friends for new cars or using their serviceddepartment.

We went to purchase a Hyundai Sonata. Picked it and all good. We committed to buy, but before the deal was finished, Richard (sales) left for a ball game and left us with Julius (finance) who tricked us into getting an alarm system that didn't work. We brought it in a couple times and we think it finally got fixed but still ended up paying much more for a Hyundai alarm system that doesn't really do much. Would not recommend.

About two years ago I went car shopping with my girlfriend. I suggested she look at the Hyundai Sonata. We went to Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys and test drove the Sonata. Our salesman Oscar Quinonez was so thorough explaining the features, safety and performance that I was sold on the car. I wasn't ready at that time to switch cars, but two years later December 1st I purchased my Sonata Hybrid from Oscar Quinonez. My car buying experience was hassle free - he got me a great deal - the color and features I wanted. And I left the dealership with a full tank of gas. This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. No locking you in a room until you would pay anything for the car just to go home. Superior customer service, no pushing papers with numbers across the room until you had now idea what you were paying for, comfortable areas to wait in and the sales people came back often to update you on where you were with the process. I would recommend highly and still can't believe how easy it was.

I came here because a friend referred me to the folks at Keyes. I am always sceptical abut dealerships, however, the entire experience at Keyes Hyundai was incredible. Never thought i would laugh so much at a dealership. It was really a great buying experience... from beginning to end. From the sales person, to the internet sales manager, the GM and even the Finance guy... Yes, the finance guy. Great team and an amazing deal! Run, don't walk to Keyes Hyundai!!!

Just had a great car buying experience at this place. William in sales was such a sweet genuine person to deal with.. no hassles.. no jerking around. Josh the sales manager really went the extra mile to cut us a deal that i can't absolutely refuse. We've been shopping around for a family car the past few weeks.. haggling via email with internet mgrs within a 100 mile radius. we eventually settled on a new 2013 Sonata. We drove by Keyes one sunday afternoon to inquire what kind of pricing they could offer.. We told William and Josh that we're in the market but we're not ready to purchase just yet.. They showed us around and answered all of our questions regarding financing vs buying it straight up... The whole process was real cool. No pushy sales tactic asking you what it would take to earn your biz or what price do you want to be to take it home that night. Honestly, I could've walked away and shop around some more to maximize the savings.. But after having such a pleasant time and not being hounded by sales people to take the deal that very minute.. We decided they deserve our biz. If you read this far... You should definitely check them out :)

And another Hyundai dealer lost me because of their lies and wasting of my time!Not a good customer SALES service!Please note that my experience is based upon one SALES individual name Samuel on the phone. Please also note that this was my first time ever to call this dealer.Ok, so I called this dealer yesterday evening because I am shopping for a car and need to buy it either this weekend or the next one. I had the quote from the other dealer and wanted to shop around to see if someone else might even have a better deal for me.So after giving all the necessary information to this guy name Samuel, he started telling me on how good his dealer is. How they are number 1 in terms of the sales volume blah blah blah....Mind you that I have already heard all this from the other dealers as well :)Anyways, I asked him for their best low price and right away he told me to forget about asking him the low price because their price will be the lowest or will beat any low price I already have. Guaranteed. Period!He asked me for my low price and I told him that I will give it to him only once he give me his! He continued to argue with me on how it will be useless for him to give me the price and instead he will beat what ever lowest price I already have. again "Guaranteed!"At this point, I told him clearly to be straight forward, honest, and truthful to me and to not waste my time. After several request, he finally agreed to call me back with his price.He called back after 10 mins and his what so called "low best price that no one can beat" was 1600 more than the price I already had from the other dealer! However, as promised I then gave him my price and this is where he got caught with his lies.Right away he told me that he cannot match or beat my price. He said that he has no idea on how this other dealer is offering me at this price but regardless he can't do it. At this point I reminded him his earlier promise, comments, and statements on how he can beat or match any ones price and it was guaranteed! To defend that he told me that yes they can match the price but not the one that I have because that is next to impossible and no idea what this dealer did to the car to sell it at that price! What a joke!So, on one hand he is still keep saying that he can beat or match the price but on the other hand, at the same time, can't match the low price I have! A total contradiction to what is saying and/or said earlier.At this point, I guided this person to the other dealer's website to proof my low price and that I was not lying to him. I then asked him if cannot match or beat my price then what is the second best price he can offer me after listening and seeing my price.Now, all of a sudden he started to tell me to just go and buy from this other dealer and why I am not going or what's the wait for? I told him to go or to not go is total my decision and to not tell me on what to do. He was kept going on and on in circle. Finally, he told me that he can ask his manager again for the second low best price and will call back.He did call back after 15 mins with just 200 less than his initial price. He then again argued with me on why I am waiting and just not to this other dealer even though I told him earlier not to do that!I again reminded him to either fulfill his early promise of "can beat anyone's price or have the lowest price among all" or just don't tell this false statement to the customers. He again kept going on in circle on how he can still beat it but just not my price :) Can you believe this!Finally, he told me to come down on the weekends because the managers are much more aggressive and motivated to sell the car and I may be able to score a deal. I told him that I don't want to drive all the way down and then leave if nothing works and that is the reason I want to settle, at least, the base price on the phone.He again just kept going in circle on either I should go to this other dealer or just come to him on the weekends to see if they can come close to my price. I then asked him on why managers are only motivated during the weekends to which he has no answer.How can I think about this dealer for any future purchase or for recommending it to others? Looks like I am not alone in terms of their bad customer service after reading reviews from the other Yelpers.Please note that the guy's attitude and tone through out the conversation was good and nothing was wrong with it. It is just his false promise, statements and of course the price that just ended the deal for me.Like I said, my experience was based on a guy name Samuel at SALES department. This dealer may have other good people working in there but I will still go somewhere else after my experience!A word of advice to all you readers; do rigorous and extensive search regarding the price and never feel pity or believe these dealers on whatever they say or claim!

I finally decided to trade in my 2012 accent for a newer, less base model car so I was looking into the 2013 elantra. My fiance and I walked around the lot for a bit but then we stumbled upon issac who was more than happy to help us find what we wanted. I found the specific car I wanted and issac brought us to their stock in the garbage and found something extremely similar to the one I wanted. At first I didn't even want to test drive I just wanted to buy and issac told us we should test drive it first. I am definitely happy that I did because it made me fall in love with that car even more! Issac made the process of trading in my accent lease and getting my new elantra extremely easy and pleasant. We were expecting to sit around forever but we were out of there within an hour. I drove off the lot extremely happy and it is such a pleasure driving my car everyday. I also love that issac occasionally follows up with me, his service is personable and he makes me feel like an actual person and not a dollar sign. I'd recrommend going to issac for help anytime, the other guys not so much. Thanks again issac!!

I was shopping for a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS, I made calls to 3 dealers to get the best Out the door figure on the car. 2 of the dealers quoted me with a lower tax rate to get the pricing very attractive and when I went in, the pricing changed. I finally decided to go with keyes hyundai because they stood by the figure the promised and made the process very short and simple. My car buying experience here was very pleasant. The sales person I was dealing with was very energetic and funny as well. I would refer all my friends and family to this dealership based on my experience.

We were serious about purchasing a new Hyundai Genesis and were hoping to buy locally. We went into Keyes Hyundai and were helped by one of the new members of the Keyes staff. While he was a nice young man personally, he was new at the dealership & inexperienced, nor given any equipment with which to work i.e. a computer with car information loaded onto it. Prior to start of any negotiation, I advised that I had quotes in hand from several other dealers out of area; so I had a quote in mind that I would work with but preferred to buy locally. If KH could come close to that number, a few hundred $$$ would not be a deal breaker. He had to write everything by hand, had no information for us on financing nor any Hyundai incentives and had to continually run back and forth to his manager in the back. His manager didn't even bother to come out to help. I mentioned I was well aware of the mfr's rebates/cash back programs that are currently advertised online. When they presented their offer, it was MSRP with no discounts for mfr incentives. As well, they lowballed our trade-in at $3000 to start and moved way up to $3400. In an attempt to prove that their trade-in estimate was correct, the salesman took me over to a computer and looked up our trade-in on KBB in my presence, to prove that our car was not worth what I thought; on KBB, the "fair"(and lowest) rating was already $4800. This $1800 difference was an eye opener! We never expected our car to be rated at the highest category, all we wanted was a fair price. Another salesman came up behind me and started making fun of my opinion that our car was undervalued by them. I finally had enough, requested my car key and walked out, having wasted 2+ hours of my day, and I drove home remembering why I hate buying a new car. After that bad experience, I decided to keep my "old" car and threw away my previous quotes. On a whim 2 days later, I requested a quote from a top rated H dealership 40 mi away, quickly rec'd quote (close in $$$ to others since trashed), made the long fwy drive to dealership; but happily drove home in our 2012 Genesis 4 hrs later. FWIW my trade-in was $5500, so I was lowballed by K even more than I thought. All we wanted was a "fair deal", consistent w other quotes & to be treated in an honest & professional manner. Those dealerships do exist & dealerrater.com is a great source. Genesis at Harbor Hyundai; they gave us $5500 for our trade-in. We later found out that Harbor Hyundai is rated #1 on dealerrater.com. They offered us every incentive up front and worked with us to complete the deal. Don't go to Keyes!!!! They will jerk you around.

Service notified me of the repairs and decided to purchase a low mileage 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Very good gas mileage.

Salesman friendly. There are very few Hyundai daelers close to our home this one is very close. The whole process of buying a new car is tiring, unpleasant at best and in the end exhausting. This dealer is as good as any we've dealt with.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! The only reason I rated this dealership a 1 is because this is the lowest number available. They deserve a zero rating.I contacted the dealership prior to driving to it (I live about 90 miles away from Keyes) and thought we had worked out a price. When I arrived, they wanted to charge me about $3,000 for only $500 worth of options! It is this kind of dealership that gives car salesmen a bad name. The good news is there are dealerships out there that believe in customer service and will sell you a great car at a fair price. I finally wound up at Harbor Hyundai, which is the antithesis of Keyes. I feel I received a great deal on a great car AND with great customer service. Do yourself a favor: take the extra drive to Harbor Hyundai where they do not rely on slimy sales tactics. In the age of internet car shopping, I am baffled why Keyes would continue to use outdated sales methods.

Their website inventory showed them having a few dozen 2012 Elantras and my son had been emailing all week with one of the sales managers who encouraged him to come in. Salesman is very friendly. Get there and after a few trips to their offsite lots (their main lot is extremely small) it becomes obvious they have almost none. Eventually they look up their inventory and find they have 3. OK, frustrating, but the model is popular and they were indeed busy that day, so maybe they just hadn't been keeping the inventory list up to date. I give them the benefit of the doubt. Then start to negotiate price for a Elantra that is supposed to arrive in a few weeks. My son has a quote from Keyes via USAA credit union for the model he wants. This is where it gets slimy. They use the old dealer installed alarm scam. Yes, they would sell a vehicle at that price if they had one, but all of their vehicles come with a *dealer* installed alarm system at $700 (or maybe it was $800, not sure). Then they go one better! And there's an addition $700 (or $800) charge to "register" the alarm. Pure profit for the dealer. In their great magnanimity, they offer drop one of the $700 (or $800) dollar charges. Gee thanks. We walked. I hate dealers who play these type of games. If the car is popular, fine. They can sell it at a higher price than one that is not. But be upfront about it. Don't force dealer installed alarms or paint protection or scotch guard on the seats to add profit. With a dealer like that, who knows what other extra fees and charges are waiting further down the sales process. Ended up dealing with multiple other dealers finding the car my son wanted and every one was much more straightforward and professional to deal with. He ended up buying his car from one of them the next weekend. I advise car buyers to avoid Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys like the plague.

Don't believe their ads. They're all really tempting and the sales staff is really nice when you're on the lot but the numbers that they give you do not compare with the numbers that you get. I was looking for a lease and the financing department was not helpful at all in trying to get our business. They were asking for over $100 of what the lease was supposed to be, we were quick to walk away and they called us back telling us that they were going to work it out but never called back.
