I would like to apologize in advance for the review that I'm about to write. I know a lot of good people at Kia Of Dayton, and the customer service I experienced on 2/8/21 was simply horrific to say the least. I went in for an oil change at 10:30, and I didn't get my car back until 12:23. They didn't even tell me that my car was done. I just happened to see it sitting outside near the customer entrance where they usually park the cars when they're done with them, and I had to actually ask the guy if my car was done. My wife took her car in the same day at 11:00 and didn't get her car back until 1:55. There were also 5 other customers waiting for their cars, and they were just as heated as we were. So I asked for the manager, and I explained to him that I myself was a manager in the customer service business and that the customer service I experienced that day was unacceptable. I also took him to the customer waiting area where everyone was sitting and I explained one by one every persons issue that had been sitting there for hours waiting for their cars. All he could say was that all of the scheduling is now done somewhere in Kentucky, and that they have no clue what they're getting into until they come in. Without sounding unsympathetic, the question I have is how is that the customers problem? No one came out to explain anything to anyone. All they did was let everyone sit there in the waiting area for hours waiting on their cars to be done. Here's a shocker for you. One of the customers sitting in the waiting area was told that his car was done. He was given the paperwork to pay for the work and everything. This particular customer had a tracking device on his car, and it actually tells him whenever his car has been moved. When he looked at his phone, he noticed that his car hadn't gone up in mileage at all, and that it was still sitting in the same spot where he parked it when he arrived there hours earlier. He told the maintenance guy, and the maintenance guys came back 10 minutes later and said they made a mistake. WHAT??? Is Kia actually doing the work, or are they holding the cars hostage and making you think they're doing the work? My trust level has gone wayyyyyy down for Kia, and I'm not sure I want to take my car there for any kind of service going forward because I can't trust that they're doing what I'm paying them to do. A lot of customers were very unhappy that day, and I must say that I've never ever seen or experienced anything like that before at a dealership. That was a very bad day for Kia, and I would be willing to bet any amount of money that what all the customers experienced that day will circulate extremely fast. I will continue to buy my cars from Kia, but I will think twice about taking them to be serviced there.

Was a great experience. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Would recommend this dealership for all. If you are looking for a car or SUV KIA of Dayton is the place to go. Customer service there is the best.

Buying my 2021 Forte at Kia of Dayton has been the best new car buying experience in over 20 years for me! You can walk their lot or showroom at leisure with no sales pressure at all. Kia of Dayton had a nice inventory to select from, and if you don't see something you like, they will search the system and find the car that suit your needs. I recently bought a 2021 Soul and worked with Scott. Scott was very helpful and had a friendly personality. I had been to other dealerships and felt pressured by other salespeople. Scott did not pressure me at all. He personally made sure that my car was ready to drive off the lot instead of having me wait 2 (it was a Saturday) days until the service dept. could do it. He took the time to remove sticky residue and took to a gas station to fill it up. He made sure it was perfectly clean before I left the lot. I would buy from Kia of Dayton again and recommend him to others.
