Reviews are something I have never done but feel important to share my experience. I am not a business person. In fact my financial mistakes outweigh my financial successes. Brought my 2011 KIA out for service and bought a hybrid while I was waiting. No pressure was applied. Did what is normal for me. Buy now, worry later! No regrets except add ons that I didn't undertand. Kia of Des Moines is going to cancel add ons and make it right for me. Highly recommend this dealership. Moe was the salesman I worked with and stood out to me as a genuine person. He truely is a good person and I am thankful to have met him. You are a stand out Moe. I purchased a new used car, my wife and I was very happy with car, the cost, the rep who (Bill Blair) " LOVED THE CAR" We had it for2 months, a semi hit us and totally wrecked the car "KIA Sedona 2016". We went back to the dealership get in touch with Bill Blair. We told him what happened. He helped US with getting a nother Sedona, helped with the paper work with the wrecked car, and also got us into another Sedona within ample time. Thank you Bill, And thank you Kia.

went to Kia to browse their used vehicles and appraise my old truck. I honestly did not expect to accomplish anything other than window shop. I didnt have prestine credit, but the people there still made me feel like I was a worthwhile customer. Looked for a used rio, walked out with a brand new rio. Purchased our third Kia, felt a little rushed, would like to have driven a Sorrento too, but the salesperson said the Sorrento's were higher then the Van, we found out that was not true, there were Sorrento's for the same amount and even less. That was partly our fault since we should have insisted on it. It our third Kia van, and we had good luck with the first two, we do like the van that we just purchased, but think we should have waited a while to buy it. Being older we are having a bit of time trying to figure out all the options. But we are finding out more and more.

My experience at this dealership was excellent. Ed was professional, personable, and did not waste time. Contrary to other dealerships, we were able to take the vehicle for a drive on our own and upon returning, Ed was prepared with figures and options based upon my feedback and budget. I had a few emails with Matt Ayala before I went to the dealership. But before I went in I got on their website to get an idea on what they would give me for my trade-in (2000 Mazda 626) with over 430 thousand miles on it. When I used their tools on the website, they were on!y.going to give me $1000 for my trade-in. I needed more than that so I would have a bigger down payment. I sent Matt an email and told him that $1000 wasn't enough and that I thought they were offering $5000 no matter how old it was or what kind of shape it was in. Matt sent me back a message and told me to come in that we could discuss what I wanted. They ended up giving me more for my car and! left with a 2016 Kia Soul. Thank you Matt and every one involved. I love my Soul.

Purchased my car on 08/05/16, requested automatic start be placed and car to be re-detailed. Upon placing auto start it was noted there was a defect with the car antenna and a part would need to be ordered. No further details were conveyed. I had a planned trip to leave town, scheduled with Sales Manager to return car on 08/16 for re-detail. No one communicated to me the antenna defect would not allow me to receive any reception, made for a very long road trip! Received call on 09/16 antenna part in; it was communicated I had an appointment for a car detail and would bring the car in that day for both items to be addressed. Brought my car in, no one could figure out what needed to be fixed or where my car needed to go. I got an additional call once I left asking again why my car was there. 08/17 called car finished; arrived and car was not detailed and body work not address; physically pointed out areas to service person. 08/19 received call to return loaner car as it had been sold, my car still not complete. Had a face to face meeting with Sales Manager in regards to all problems in which had occurred. Verbally voiced areas in which needed attention with vehicle; he would personally ensure all items were addressed. Received another call later in afternoon to pick up car as it was completed. Stains still present on seats and visible on ceiling. Body touch-ups not even corrected or touched. Communication between departments/employees is severely lacking, not impressed! Salesman was not helpful or knowledgeable!

The overall experience was amazing, no pressure to do anything more then look and ask questions. Dealt with Kris Kremin it was such a change from the last time we tried to work with them when they were in Grimes. Long story short went out to look at them and figured we would end up going out of town again. The service and treatment from Kris was so great we ended up leasing that night and my wife is extremely happy with her new Sorento ended up with a much nicer one then we thought we could get with the deal he worked out for us.

I was looking on line of the Kia website in the certified pre-owned found a very nice awd Kia. I talked with a co-worker and showed her the picture good price and very low mileage, so I went for it. I got a response from Bill Stone by text before I even got off of work. Stopped in to get pricing on new Sedona. Had our German Shepherds in the car so didn't think we were going to purchase one. To our surprise, they told us to bring them in to the dealership. Everyone was very helpful, listened to what we wanted and worked very hard to meet our needs. It was a very pleasant experience , every person we came in contact with was very accommodating to us and our dogs! In the end, we purchased a Sedona. I went to Kia not expecting a whole lot other than to be told no they cannot help me. I met with Patrick, who listened to me asked me some questions. I was looking at the Soul as I like the looks, but had never seen the inside, or driven one. We went on a test drive, came back and put together some numbers, which was a little out of my price range for monthly payment. I told Patrick what I was looking for for payment, and we went back out and started looking at more of them that would get me in my price range. I found a color I absolutely love in the Soul wish yard, filled out the paperwork, and I drove out in my new car. I am completely impressed with how well he listens, does whatever he can to make sure you leave with the car you want, the car you can afford, and if there is anything you need to let him know. I could not be more satisfied.

Enjoy your new Kia bu don't expect them to fix it. You will get "cannot duplicate" or "within design specs". My second transmission in my Sorento clunks badly, just like the first. I have been told to drive it to let it get worse. I did, and now the service department manager is telling me that my noises are normal under normal driving conditions. He also told me the get paid to fix car, not do deep diagnostics. He continued by telling me that if they swap the transmission and Kia says it is not bad enough, the service department will be charged for it. So, they would rather deny the problem and let me be the one that pays for it in 8k miles when my warranty is over. I have had three Hyundais and this is my second Kia, I will never buy another Korean car. No more, ever.

The people at Kia are so friendly and helpful. I was having an issue with my tire sensor lighting up and took it in for them to check out. The got me right in, checked the air pressure in all the tires and then lifted th car to visually inspect the tire that had the lower pressure. They couldn't find Anything at first or second look. I had told my service guy that I was going out of town the next day and was worried about taking it on I80 the next day. He used a special spray that is suppose to bubble if there is an air leak. After searching more, he finally found a tiny nail hidden in the tire. Was thrilled that he took the time and then made sure to get the tire patched quickly so I could get back to my day. I even got a car wash. I felt like he listened and cared about me.

Bought a brand new car from them hence the n/a on the repairs. So, I wandered in May looking at what they had available. Talked to Moe about what I wanted, and what I didn't need. He didn't try to up sell me the more expensive car. Then told him and his boss that I was not going to purchase till next month, and they said all right contact us if you have any questions. Then the next month went in and discussed how I was going to buy the car and how soon.The facilities are nice and clean, and they had bottled water if you asked. As well, the paperwork was not much which surprised my dad a bit.Overall a good experience on buying my first car.

They showed how everything works in the car and out. Detailed the car prior to me taking off with it, and filled up the gas tank without me even asking (never had that before without asking). My first time buying a vehicle by myself since my husband passed away. I was very unsure of everything but i was treated very nicely and the man that helped me was very helpful, showed me everything on the vehicle. He let me take my time and think things out very carefully. I was very satisfied. Even coming in at 5:30 and they closed at 6, we didn't get out of there tell 7:30 p.m. but people stayed and got things done and was happy to do it.

I've never been to Kia of Des Moines, all I knew was I wanted to buy a new Kia Soul. I was worried that they would be too "big city" and "high pressure" for me. It turned out they were just the opposite! Mo was really nice and even when we were still there past closing time, he never tried to rush me into making a decision. He had answers for all my questions and I had fun. I would recommend Kia of Des Moines, my sales guy Mo and the Kia Soul. Great experience from the minute I got there. Thank You!!

First off, we purchased used. Went to go pick up our vehicle and it hadn't even been cleaned/detailed. Dash/none of the interior had been wiped down/cleaned. Crud and animal hair from the previous owner came as an extra! Lastly, We have now waited over a week to get our calls returned in reguards to getting something replaced. Sadly, not impressed as we had heard good things about Kia of Dsm.

If you're like me and almost HATE car shopping - you need to do yourself a favor and check out Kia of Des Moines! This isn't your typical high-pressure, fine print and haggle on the price dealership. I had the pleasure of working one on one with Bill Stone and got a straight-forward, no gimmick - GREAT deal on a 2016 Kia. You could from the moment you meet him that he really cares about helping folks! These guys (from the sales manager to the finance guy) simply go out of their way to make sure you're educated, comfortable, assured and most of all satisfied with your purchase. The entire process took about 2 hours (yes, that's it!) from the time I arrived until the time I drove away in a brand new car. I could not recommend Kia of Des Moines any more highly. An absolute wonderful experience .... and at this point I'm a customer for life!

Went into Kia just to see what kind of deal I might be able to get. I really wanted to get an SUV and didn't want my payment to be too high. The sales associate worked with her manager to get me the vehicle I wanted with the price range I could do. She was very nice and knowledgable. I never felt like she was just trying to make a sale. She was more concerned with making sure it was what I wanted. As long as she stays there I will definitely go back to Kia again.

My wife and I just purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander GT. I spent a lot of time researching and it was between the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot and the Outlander. We looked at them all and we took up some of Nathan Cracraft's time there at the dealership having him show use several different Outlanders and driving them over a week and a half. At no time were we ever pressured or made to feel unimportant. Of the three cars we reviewed I can tell you your best bet for Warranty, quality and price the Outlander is it. I know I am not the most easy person to deal with (just ask my wife) but Nathan was great. We got a good deal and all of our needs were meet. I am not encouraged as I read some of the reviews as to the poor service people are getting from the service department but I will wait and see for myself. As good as the sales staff treated us I find it hard to believe the service department is that bad. I fully intend to use the service department for my routine maintenance as well as any warranty work should that be necessary. I will come back in a year or so and write a review on the service department and how the car is doing. P.S. Put up a Mitsubishi sign along with the Kia sign. The place is hard to find when you are looking for Mitsubishi.

I scheduled appointment and went in Jeff Davis made my car trading and buying fun and enjoyable. I went in for service. They changed my oil,balanced and rotated my tires. They also checked my air filter and said it was still clean.. That was impressive as i have about 18k on the car and most dealers would have said you need a new one. They also wash and vacuum your car every time you bring it in for service. They are also prompt. I arrived around 7;45am and paid and was out by 9am. They are honest and also listen to your concerns when you register your car for service. They also tell you upfront how much the service/repairs will cost. They have never been more than 5.00 off on the quote so no hidden suprises.

Living 2 hours away I needed (wanted) to make my purchase without making more than one trip to the dealership. My salesman Chris Weyer understood that and actually listened to me! He found what I was looking for at a different location and picked up. We were able to come to terms via email and phone conversations. When I made the 2 hour trip Chris had everything ready for me. I'm "Soul'd" on my Kia Soul, and highly recommend Kia of Des Moines! I stopped at Kia of Des Moines for reasons other than the purchase of a new vehical, but then decided to simply inquire. I had my mental note of everything I wanted if I were to purchase that Kia Soul I've dreamt about. I was greeted immediately, a sales person was called, and Ed A. greeted me. we chatted about what was important to me and why! I suggested "used" was probably my best bet. We browsed the computer and "just as a "starting point" picked a 2016 model to "try" and went for a test drive. The features I felt most important were standard options (be still my heart!).... Thirty minutes later at a cost I can live with... I have the first BRAND NEW CAR ever in my life! Thank you Ed, you're amazing, and Aaron made paperwork fast and virtually painles.. The Kia of Des Moines staff was all very friendly, calm, helpful. There was no pressure to buy. They gave us a great deal for our trade in (over the blue book trade in value for our car) and we got a good end of the year price. When we were leaving, they went through the whole car explaining how to use it. The Dealership was clean. The car had a great warranty for being used. We are happy with our purchase.After visiting a different dealership that pressured us, didn't know the car, and tried to sell us a car that was already in the process of being sold (idk if that's legal or not, but I guess it covers their bases if it doesnt go through - but felt shady to us) Kia of Des Moines was such a great experience! We felt much calmer, more comfortable and happy with Kia. We recommend Kia of Des Moines! Great service.

My family already has a 2012 Kia Soul, and when we found ourselves in need of another vehicle we knew that Kia Motors of Des Moines/Des Moines Mitsubishi was a fantastic place to shop. The first thing my wiffe and I required was a light colored interior. There was not one on the lot. I had checked several other dealers, however KIA of Des Moines was the closest to us. Randy Crabb met us at the door, We were driving a 2015 Silverado pickup. I am sure that his first thought was what are these people doing here. When I told him what we wanted he searched and found one with a light interior. We priced it out and he said they could get it Fri and we could pick it up Sat. Now thats service. We have less than 1000 miles on it but it's the best auto I have ever driven./Thanks Randy and Thanks KIA or Des Moines.

I have sent many, many emails to Ed before and after purchasing my vehicle and he is always quick to respond. He makes me feel as if I'm his only customer! He was always honest and upfront about everything.Our total time spent at the dealership the day I purchased my car was only an hour and a half. I asked Ed to go ahead and have the paperwork ready when we got there, and he did! I appreciate that there were no "surprises" when we got there (i.e. payment higher than expected, new fees rolled in that we hadn't discussed...) The finance guy was even able to get us a lower interest rate through an outside lender, and was then able to give us a rebate that we wouldn't have qualified for had we financed through them.I will be buying all my cars in the future from Kia of Des Moines!

When we went in to take a look at it our salesperson, Aron, was awesome! He was very friendly, low-pressure and patient. I love my new car that only had a few miles on it and knowing it has bumper to bumper for the next 5 to 10 years on my vehicle gives me peace of mind and nothing beats that. Over a phone call I told Ed what I wanted, and explained I will look at the KIA Soul, but not my choice of a vehicle. Ed Arnold and the staff at Kia did an amazing job getting us the car we wanted. There was constant communication and no surprises when we came to close the deal. They called and said our car was ready and the paperwork would be too! In and out in under 20 minutes I think should be some type of record for buying a car. We NEVER felt pressured and truly felt that the staff was looking out for our best interest when looking at our options. These guys know that good customer service is where the other dealerships set the bar and Kia sets the bar at great customer service.

And drove away about an hour and a half later with a brand-new Kia soul for my wife. They were very fair on my trade-in. Treated very well. Marquet is the man who helped with our sale. Very friendly and honest. I asked a lot of crazy "what if" questions and if he didn't know the answer, he told me he would find out for us. He did a great job to get us out the door happy with our purchase. These guys are great all the way through from sales to service. We test drove two vehicles and decided on the red one!! Our sales person, Bill, was knowledgable, and very genuine. Everyone at this dealership treated us with the utmost respect. We were very excited when we bought are brand new car. The sales people workd with us to get the price that would work for us. After we signed the paper work and went to go pick up the car we were told it had been inspected. We drove it home which we live over an hour away. So when we got home we were checking out al the features, we went to go turn on the fog lights and the driver side one did not work. I know its only a light but it was a little disapointing, and we were told the car had been inspected. Since it was Saturday evening we were going to call Kia first thing Monday morning. My husband called and they were very sorry that it had been missed and told us we didn't need an appointment just bring it in. So my husband made the hour drive there, they got him in right away but some how it took them over 2 hour to replace a simple light bulb. I knew we should have just saved time and gas and just done it ourselves. So when they told my husband the car was done he asked how it could have taken so long, the answer he got was that the technicin had problems, that after he replaced the bulb the light still would't work so he was trying to figure out what was wrong and then some time later he realized he hadn't plug it back in. So needless to say we were very frustrated.

The Wife was recently shopping for a Kia Soul. She spotted one she liked at Kia of Des Moines but I needed further information, I emailed the question to dealership and received a response from Ed Arnold within the hour.the next day, the wife went for a test drive in a 2013 moss green soul and loved it! Ed was able to answer all her questions and prepared the credit application. I went to the dealership on Saturday to inspect the car and was surprised how friendly the staff were. The rates and payments were within my predetermined range and the remaining warranty was outstanding so we purchased the car. Upon delivery we noted that the winter floormats which were supposed to be included were missing, a quick call to Ed and we were informed they were located and we could pick them up. An outstanding experience overall.

The best dealership experience that I've ever been a part of. Everyone there was very helpful and nobody was pushy in any way. They are willing to help with anything you need but will also just let you browse around without trying to give you the hard sale. Dave Campbell was the salesman who sold me my 2016 Kia Sorento and he made the experience fun, painless, and an overall pleasure. He was very helpful with any questions. I received absolutely excellent service from this dealership. Chris Weyer was the salesman and he wasn't at all pushy but answered any questions I had. What he couldn't answer the other persons I dealt with were able to answer. The lock they put on the vehicles so people can't break in had buggered up the rubber around the window and rather than just leave it that way or make another appointment they checked with the service department to see if another rubber was in stock. They did have one and the service tech came right out and removed the faulty one and put a new one on within a matter of minutes. The only disappointment was there was only one key/remote and they had to order another which I will have to go back and pickup because it will need to be programmed to the vehicle. So far I have no complaints and have high praise for the vehicle as on the way home I got 46 mpg. I sure hope this continues. This was a slightly used vehicle but with a new warranty because of the mileage that was on it. Vehicle purchased was a Mitsubishi Mirage.

The battery on our 2010 Forte SX died at Walmart. Tried to find replacement at a couple of auto parts stores with no luck. Called the Kia dealer and didn't expect to be able to get right in for replacement. Also, expected cost would be high. The new battery and installation took less than 30 minutes and the price was very reasonable. They even washed the car! Very pleased with the service received.

I bought 5 cars form Kia of Des Moines and never will again. I love how they sold me a car telling me what great resell and trade in value it would have then when I went to trade it back to them they offered $3K less than Stew Hansens who bought it outright without a trade. All they were concerned about was what I owed and how they could get me in another new Kia (with negative equity of course). Stews gave me what I owed - no questions asked. During this transaction the sales manager was incredibly rude and quite frankly a jerk. Then I learned that that I would have to pay a Disposition fee to turn in my other Kia which I was leasing yet NO ONE from this terrible dealer ever mentioned that fee. My Kia Optima especially was a great car but these guys are the types of people that give car dealers a bad name. Rude and most worst of all not even remotely honest

For the new guy in the dealership and in the car business, Caleb really knows his stuff! I'm a hard person to impress and I also swore I'd never own a Kia! Caleb got me right into my Forte. I am looking for a new SUV. We originally agreed on 20k. When we originally went in we spoke with Todd. He did not want to help us at all didn't let us test drive vehicles, and acted very annoyed that me and my husband were there. We went back and talked to another salesman since I found a Kia Sorento and started to work with Curt Peters. I reached out to my bank that I was only approved for 19,500. I reached out to Curt Peters and he response was verbatim " I'll put the car back on the lot and tear up your paperwork", then hung up abruptly. Right after I reached out to a sales manager Robert. I got not a phone call but a text message. He first told me " lol I will be out of the office tomorrow since he had sold 2 cars today". I proceeded to ask him want he wants to do from here about the situation as it was handled very unprofessionally and was not happy with the salesman'. He then told me " Have a great day lol but I will be glad to help you anyway I can". I then stated to him that I loved the car but wanted to work something out and to let me know. He then told asked me who I worked with and responded Cur and told him it doesn't seem that he is taking me seriously. He then stated " Ok what was the car and what are the details". I told him what the car was and what happened and what he said and told him that Curt was completely rude. He then said " With you being his customer not sure I can do much". At that point I was just done with the manager or whatever he was, the salesman, and Kia all together. I spread the word to friends and family which is very disappointing, I will never recommend anyone to this place. Worst decision of my life.

When I walked in, I specified how I like my car buying process to go. Chris worked with me, following my "demanding" style. He realized I was the one buying the car and only engaged in side talk with my husband! That really impressed me. The whole process took less than 2 hours, including test driving 2 vehicles. I think I signed the paper work in under 15 minutes. I would and will recommend Kia and Chris to anyone I know buying a vehicle.

When I came into the dealership, I gave Chris very specific instructions on how I like the car buying experience to go. He let me take the lead and was respectful of my time. Most importantly, he understood I was buying this car, not my husband. Chris asked questions but never tried to push me into a decision. When I was ready to make my choice, I was able to sign the paperwork in less than 15 minutes! It took longer to detail the car for me!!! The whole process from walking into the dealership to driving away with my car was about 1 1/2 hours. Not too bad considering I test drove 3 autos!! Thanks Chris for a painless and fun (wait, did I say that?) experience!

Go to Omaha if you want a KIA. If you go to this dealership. Make sure that you are well educated on laws and regulations in the credit and origination of loans. Ensure that you know where or what entity you will need to file a complaint. I would even record your conversation or call a friend so that they are witness to the conversation taking place. BBB, CFPB, Congressional Office, Attorney General, you pick. Make sure your complaint has substance. Good luck but if you can don't go to this dealer.

Took vehicle in for recall. Dropped off night before. Next morning they called and said recall done, vehicle ready to be picked up. Told them I'd be there 30 minutes before close to pick up. Went there to pick up vehicle and had to wait 30 minutes for service to bring vehicle to me. Went in twice to ask what was taking so long and they acted like they did not care about my wait or me as a customer.

My boyfriend and I went to Des Moines Imports Kia last week and bought an Optima. Usually my boyfriend isn't very nice at car dealerships and has actually been asked to leave a few. Our salesperson was very very nice and patient - so was his manager. My boyfriend was rude to the manager but he was totally calm and professional(Mark or Matt) and said he'd get us all the information we needed and let us make our own decision. Well it was a good decision to buy the Optima! It's a GREAT car. In the end, we were all laughing and had fun with everyone at Des Moines Imports. AWESOME place to buy a car!!!

Doubled cost of service/oil change. I prefer to have the dealership service my vehicle but this dealership just convinced me I will not continue this practice. We purchased our first KIA at a Kansas dealership where there were multiple competing KIA dealerships. I assume this helped prevent the greed we now have encountered at this dealership. Perhaps their greed be better controlled if there was another local KIA competitive dealer in the Des Moines area.

I bought a new 2012 Kia Optima LX back in Mar. 2012 from this dealership and did not have any problems with the buying experience. Tina the salesperson was friendly, eager to help, and had great product knowledge in explaining the vehicles. Negotiation of selling price was straightforward with no tricks or deception. Don't understand the other reviews here, but my experience was great. I have had my car in the service dept twice for an oil change and key coding. Was treated professionally with service advisor explaining everything. Love my Optima and buy here again.

My wife and I went in one Saturday to test drive a new Kia. We were just getting into the buying process and wanting to test out the waters, which we told our salesperson. After the test drive he kept asking at what price it would take to for us to drive this car home today. I told him multiple times we're not buying today but he kept wanting to discuss price so we did just so I would have a reference to compare it to other cars. I was concerned that the price he was quoting me included a Xylan coating which I didn't want and he told me it didn't. We're getting ready to leave and he says that we should put a deposit on the car because they only have one that kind of fits what we're looking for. He said it was totally refundable, no big deal and doesn't mean we've agreed to anything. Well if it's refundable and not a big deal to them, why not? So we did. Then we were leaving and I looked at the price in the window of the car and it was $600 less than what we just negotiated it down to. I went back inside and found the guy and told him, you included Xylan, I don't want that. He said he'd get that taken care of. We came back a few days later wanting to actually discuss price seriously and buy the car. When we got there the people at the dealership acted like it had already been sold. They wanted me to sign over the title on my trade-in and everything. I said, whoa we haven't even agreed on a price yet. I said I want to see the price without the Xylan coating and again was told by the salesperson, wel get that taken care of. I said no, we need to go sit down and discuss this again. After wee sitting down at his desk he finally tells me, the Xylan comes already on the vehicle and there is nothing he can do about that. At this point I realize Ie been lied to by these people and I just want to leave because I not going to buy a car from someone who is trying to deceive me. I tell him that I don think wel be able to do a deal today because the price with the Xylan is higher than I want to pay. Then he starts lecturing my wife and I about why are we even looking at this car if we can afford it. I tell him the car would be affordable if you include the Kia discount for recent college graduates. He already knew I was a recent college grad and never once mentioned the discount. I had to bring it up myself. So now he goes and gets the new price with the discount and is trying to get the deal done. I said no way at this point am I buying this car. So he goes and gets his manager, Matt. This is where the story goes from bad to worse. Matt comes over and starts off by explaining how they gave me much more for my trade than it worth, but theye going to still honor that, like they are doing me a favor. They made the offer on my trade without ever seeing it on the day my wife and I were test driving the new vehicle. I didn rush them to make an offer that day or even say t in great shapewhen it wasn. They did that all on their own. Then I tell him at this point it not about money, it about trust. I not going to buy a vehicle from someone who is dishonest. He keeps trying to bully me into the sale and I refuse. Finally in a last ditch effort to get the deal done he tries to scare me into the deal by coming back to trade again. He says hat happens if the transmission goes out tomorrow and now that car is worthless? I giving you more than it is worth. Plus we have the right vehicle at the right price. It really hard to find the right car. Now trying to scare me that Il never find another car I like. Finally he gives up, refunds my deposit and my wife and I leave, her in tears over how we were treated.

Fist time we went in, we had just begun the process of car shopping. They wanted to talk us into an " awesome deal" but we left without it. After doing our research we went back, wanting to buy and actually spend way more than we first anticipated. We got brushed off with: you can't afford this car. Oh well..we left and spent our money at Toyota instead.

Our first visit was to just feel out what's on the market and we had no intention of buying. They tried talk us into buying anyway but we left without the " best deal". We did give them a budget though and we were told that they have no cars available. After doing our research and test driving cars and SUV's of several brands, we decided to go back and take a look at a Sportage.We decided that we have a higher budget available and went into the delaership, this time with the intent of buying. The Sales guy we worked with previously was very rude, as we did not buy the first time, we gathered. After test driving the Sportage and wantig to make an offer we were told that was " out of reach and not in our budget"??. No asking if our budget had increased ect ect. We left and bought a Toyota instead were we received excellent service!! Kia...NEVER AGAIN!!

I have never had fun buying a car...Until now. My salesperson was soooo nice. She treated me like a friend instead of just a customer. She also introduced her manager who actually gave me a suggestion which allowed me to take my new car home right away! Good job Des Moines Imports! Thanks for everything!

I do love my Kia, but to get one or if u have a trade in its hard to work with them, i have the feeling they not really trying enough to help you out when u want a new car and u have a trade in, or you having a monthly buget !!! They giving up on u pretty easy and quickly and we are a middle class family with good credit !!!
