the first time ever was treated like I was equal..being a woman I have had some unpleasant visits with other car dealerships..Scott was exceptionally friendly and accomadating and very knowledgeable Robert was awesome ..All the people I personally dealt with were very nice and took time to make sure I got what I wanted..

I was shopping and had looked at comparable cars to the Optima at 2 other dealerships. I was trying to compare apples to apples. I had read a favorable review about the Kia in the recent ConsumerReports and thought I'd take a look. I planned on buying in about a month. On my first and second visit to Lynchburg/Berglund Kia I talked to Scott Bradner. He was very patient and considerate. He wasn't the typical overly aggressive salesperson. I don't like pushy sales people. I told him what I wanted and didn't want in a car and he suggested a number of options. One of those options was to get one from another dealership to meet my preferences. After some dickering back and forth we came to terms and I purchased the Optima. My experience with Lynchburg/Berglund Kia was very favorable and because of that I would recommend them and I think you'll like Scott Bradner as well.

I was met by Chris Taylor who immediately got down to business getting me approved for my new KIA Forte. I had a bad day and was at another location almost 4 hours just getting my credit checked. He listened even though I was venting about prior experience. I was returning customer in good standing with KIA Finance so could not imagine what the issue was. Chris and his team had me approved with a military rebate and doing the paperwork on my new car within the hour. I am very happy with my purchase and exceptional care given when visiting the store. I felt valued as a returning customer and treated with respect. An excellent team of professionals who earned my business and loyalty!!Don't forget to ask for Chris Taylor when visiting the store!! =)

We came to Kia of Lynchburg DESPERATE needing a car... We came in not knowing if we were able to get financing or even be able to leave with a car! But everyone was so kind and worked with us and we left with a car a day later! Autumn helped us out our first time there, she was so friendly and so personable and made us feel comfortable in our decision to come to Kia of Lynchburg! We also met with Robert, the General Manager who assured us that he was working really hard with the banks to help us out! When we came in the next day we met with Joseph who had a car waiting for us that was beyond our expectations! We took it for a test drive and it was PERFECT! Before we knew it, we were signing papers and meeting with Chester who took his time in answering all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable in what decisions we were making! Everyone that works here made our experience GREAT! We will definitely be returning!!!!!!!!

Kia sent me a 3 year anniversary letter for a free oil change, wipers and cabin air filter. Great, right? I make an appointment and ask to also have the car inspected (state requirement). After waiting on it for over an hour, the service advisor says my 3 year old Kia wont pass inspection because I had installed a this spacer in the factory exhaust right before the factory muffler. They offer to fix it, we agree on a nominal fee and I go back to waiting. So at about the 2 hour wait mark, a different service advisor comes in and tells me there is a seized bolt and it will cost 750% more to fix. The car is only 3 years old, has no rust and only has mileage in the low teens (thousands). They say i need to pay or they will reject the inspection on the car making it illegal to drive. A seized bolt doesnt make sense, so I tell them i will pass on the repair. They come back 15 minutes later and tell me I am ready...again, with a rejected sticker. The next day I get under the car and take a look. The exhaust bolt was not seized, THEY stripped the stud from the flange so that now the nut cannot be tightened or loosened enough to get the bolt out and there is no head on the stud to clamp onto to remove the bolt. Here's the kicker to me, THEY stripped the stud making it impossible to tighten down the exhaust required to pass inspection, so they failed my car's inspection because they broke a part! To summarize, ..they offer to do work on my vehicle...they break a part...are dishonest about what was wrong....tell me I need to pay to fix it or they will reject my car making it illegal to drivethen charge me for the inspection and send me home with the broken part still on the car!!! I'm pretty frustrated but reasonable so I call the service manager but she is not available. So I call the next day. Here is where it starts getting better. She is reasonable enough on this day to agree to replace the bolt they stripped. No apology, no free oil change or anything and I'm told I cannot wait on the repair, Ill have to leave the car there. Both of which are a waste of a customers time to drop it off, be without it and have to leave work to go get it. They did provide a shuttle and a nice driver and in the end, they passed its inspection and didnt charge me. But why put the customer through this?? They could have won me over but instead chased the money. Everyone was polite the entire time, the shuttle was quick, the repair was completed earlier than estimated so I dont know how mad to be honestly.

My experience with Autumn was great. She took the time to explain every function of the SUV I was buying in detail. She was also very friendly and made us feel "at home" the entire time we were there. I would recommend asking for Autumn if you decide to purchase a car from this dealership.

After having an extremely negative experience in purchasing my last car, I was very apprehensive about buying another from a used car salesman. Autumn immediately put my mind at ease. She met me with a smile in the parking lot when I pulled up. Although I was still very skeptical due to being a widow on limited income, I told her what I had to work with and still believed that she wouldn't help me. To say that she was able to work a miracle is an understatement. She found a car that would fit my budget, worked with my payments and even got it lower than she first thought. I was beyond surprised and it's all because of the great service that I received from Autumn and her general manager, Mr. Tucker. I would highly recommend Autumn for any and all future car purchases, new or used.

I came with my kids to check out a 2012 Kia Forte that was in my price range but it wasnt available. I wasnt looking to finance any vehicle either and instead of being turned away from the lot to further pursue finding a "budget" car I worked with Autumn and the rest of the staff at KIA and purchased Chevrolet Impala in full the same day. Autumn even worked and put the tags on the car in a storm!! I am very happy that i came in and met Autumn as will as the staff and general mangers. The kids and I will be back to visit them often while the car is getting serviced and it will be my first stop when im looking to buy another car in the future.

We recently needed to purchase a "new to us"/used vehicle. I utilized the Berglund Kia website to search for possible cars. Upon calling, I connected with Autumn Hamlett, a friendly and knowledgeable sales rep. She worked hard to accommodate our challenging schedules to test-drive several different vehicles. I later found another vehicle of interest located in Roanoke. The general manager, Mr. Tucker, had that vehicle brought to Lynchburg right away so we could test drive it. Our entire experience was positive. All staff members that interacted with us throughout the process were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We will definitely be return customers!

I purchased a 2007 Kia Spectra in December of 2007 within the state of Indiana. Since I have had my car, I have not experienced any major problems besides normal wear and tear. The only exception is that I have noticed that my engine light stays on when I am driving and also it appears that my car jerks sporadically at times. One day, I needed to have a duplicate key made to my car and although I was not there to receive any other services, the stafff working at the time at Kia of Lynchburg told me that because she saw that my engine light had been on that she would schedule a time for me to bring my car back in to be checked. After taking a look at my car, she informed me that the issue that I was having with the jerking motion was the transmission and that it would need to be replaced. Fortunately, my car is still under a warranty, and therefore, it will be be fully covered. I feel as though the staff at Kia of Lynchburg were very helpful, kind, and went out of their way to make sure that the issue with my car was found and that it would be corrected as soon a possible.
