trying to buy a used car is difficult when you don't who you can trust to sell you a used car that will not immediately need repairs. i found that with Kirk's auto sales.I found exactly what I was looking for and someone to finance the purchase and when I got the car tagged was told that no one complained to them about the cars that they had bought from Dusty Kirk. I don't usually write reviews, but I do buy cars from Dusty (Kirk's Auto Sales). However, I saw the review by Hee Haw and had speak up. Dusty has always treated me right when buying cars from him - even paying for repairs for mechanical issues that were out of his warranty period. This dealership may not have the car you want or need, but they are honest and stand behind the products that they sell.

Dusty was super-easy to work with and sold a great car at a fair price. He had invested a fair bit of money into general repairs on the mini van, and instead of just showing me a sheet of paper, he called the mechanic at a nearby shop and had him explain it to me instead. Lots of dealers charge all sorts of mark-up fees and processing, but the process was super easy and transparent here. It's been three months since I bought our mini van at Kirk's Auto Sales and so far, it's been great and exactly as advertised. I'm really happy with the purchase and the process - I'd definitely buy there again.

Kirk's Auto Sales is the way a car dealer should be, period! Dusty is so laid back and low key, absolutely no high pressure whatsoever! Went out of his way to make this deal work, from speaking to bank on financing issue to staying 2 hours after close time (allowing us to have our mechanic check out vehicle, mind you) to finalize deal! His selection of vehicles is exquisite for a small, local dealer, vehicles comparable to a large, national chain and prices that are far more consumer-friendly. In fact, if I would have been in the market, I would have bought a 2nd unit he had just brought in! The vehicle we purchased is almost like new, 1 owner, very well cared for and we love it! Again, Kirk's is the bomb and I highly recommend his business! Dusty, keep up the great work!

Our daughter is a student in Kansas City and we were visiting for the weekend. She needed a new used car. We found Kirk's Auto on Cars.com They had a good selection of cars in our price range. Dusty Kirk (the owner) went out of his way to make the shopping and buying process simple. We needed to leave town before the purchase was complete. He repaired a minor problem with the car before our daughter picked it up and didn't charge extra for it. Se is very happy with the quality of the car and we're very happy with the reasonable price. We felt we were dealing with a very honest and honorable man, which was very important to us being far away from home.

We recently bought a second car from Dusty, within the 2 month tag we found something wrong with it, we went to get it checked out and told him about it and he said it was on him even though it was no fault of his. He is a very excellent guy who is very fair, I have bought other cars from other dealers and they didn't go the extra mile like Dusty does. Like I said this is our 2nd car from him and they are excellent cars at a fair price. I would highly recommend him to any one who is looking for a new/used car.

I did quite a bit of research before finally deciding I ONLY wanted to buy from Dusty. His reviews are consistently at 5/5 stars over a four year period. This is VERY rare! He might come across a bit gruff at times, but he's a straight shooter, and stands by his word. He is the first dealer I've bought from without taking the vehicle to a mechanic first. So far I don't regret that decision. His mother works with him and is an absolute doll! The mechanic we went to for a minor issue said he is the only dealership (that the mechanice works with) in town that actually does all of the repairs a vehicle needs before selling it. We ended up buying two vehicles from him in the same day. He gave us a great deal and a 30 day limited warranty. His vehicles are clean and often appear just like new. Of course you still need to do your part, as in test drive and research the model/year you are getting. That's just good business. This was one of the easiest, stress free car purchases I have ever made. I will definitely buy from him in the future, and have already referred two new customers to him. If you want an honest dealer who stands behind any promises or claims he makes, you can't go wrong with Dusty! To Dusty and Mom- thanks again! :o)

I recently had to replace my daughter's car and was not wanting to spend a lot of money. I found several cars at different dealers on cars.com. Of all the cars (5 total) that I test drove and looked at - Kirk's Auto had the best cars! They were in the best maintained shape and ran well. Dennis was easy to talk to - no pressure to buy and allowed me to take the car I was considering to my mechanic to have it double check. My mechanic who has worked on my cars for 15 years was impressed by the car's condition. Prices are very fair and competitive. The choice was easy! My daughter lovers her new (used) car.

We recently purchased a truck from Kirk. He is very easy to do business with. He seems straight forward and to the point, exactly what a used car salesman ought to be in my opinion. He seems to prefer to sell quality dependable used cars. Unlike some used car dealers I've dealt with in the past, he doesn't try to hide problems on his cars. I'm told he sends every car he gets in to his mechanic to scout for problems. Any problems are then corrected before they go for sale on his lot. We've only had the truck for a week, but regardless, we have been very happy with the purchase. I would buy from him again.

After looking for several months for an older used Camry I finally found Kirks Auto Sales who had exactly what I was looking for and at a very reasonable price. The car was by far cleaner and in better shape than anything I had looked at previously. Dusty is honest, knowledgeable and fair, qualities you don't normally find when car shopping. I will certainly buy from Kirks Auto Sales again.

We were looking at a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder for our college son. Dusty pointed out all the things he had repaired on the car and after taking it to a dealer for a "used car check-up", we decided to purchase the car. We negotiated a lower price to allow us to repair the items found in the used car check-up and have been VERY happy with the car. It drives great and working with Dusty was very easy!

I bought a 2002 Saturn SC2 from Kirk's. Saturns are not easy to find, and he had a nice one. Was honest about what was wrong, lid broke on console, pointed out a touch up on paint. I hadn't noticed that one. He went with me for test ride as I didn't know the area at all. We did streets & highway. The day I was going to pick it up, the hospital called & needed to talk to me about my Aunt, I was almost to Kirks, called Dusty & explained. By the time I got there, we had done all the paperwork over the phone, I signed, he had tags on the car & had even put gas in it so I could just go. I was out of there in my much needed car in under 5 minutes. Left my husband on the lot talking to Dusty about a truck.....I love my Saturn more than the day I bought it, and next time I want a car, Dusty will be the first place I check! He know the difference between a Saturn & a Chevy and doesn't try to tell you they are the same!

I bought a 2002 Ford Escape from Kirk's Auto. I love this SUV! The vehicle has no body damage and runs great! And the big plus ...low miles! The people are very friendly and made the experience EASY! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good used car.

Kirk knows a lot about automobiles and does not bring vehicle models on to his lot that have a history of problems. He has an excellent mechanical background and a good relationship with his mechanic. He will often replace parts that need to be removed to get to the problem part just to make sure that the vehicle is in good working order when it is sold and beyond. He even puts new tires on many of his vehicles that he sells. This is the first time that I have bought a car from Kirk and I will be back again. He gave me a great deal on a Chrysler Town & Country that was in great condition. Thanks Kirk! Niel

The dealership understands what car buying is from both ends. Dusty was helpful without being pushy, he answered questions and was actually knowledgeable about the cars he sold. Doesn beat around the bush or throw ANY extra fees in. Way better priced than any of the dealers in Olathe. Bought a beautiful F-150 in almost perfect condition for way less than similar trucks with more miles. These guys take car of their cars and their customers.
