I was very fortunate 9 years ago when I met John Rogers, the Maplewood Volvo sales representative. I purchased my first Volvo with John. He was so kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy that I recently purchased my second Volvo from him. After 17 years of visiting Kline Volvo for routine maintenance of my 2003 S60, with many such visit watched over by Scott Muellner, I was in recently for a factory recommended safety recall (Yes, Volvo tracks its 2003 vehicles as well as its 2021 cars). I was poised at the service door when the shop opened at 7:00 a.m. Scott opened the place up and showed me to a comforting chair next to the fireplace, which radiated warmth on a chilly Minnesota morning. "We'll take care of that for you." he said, and 40 minutes later, he reappeared with the service ticket and said "Good to go." The car had been hand washed and vacuumed, even though today's visit was on the house. After many years of owning cars, I've never had a better car and never had a better working relationship that with Scott and his colleagues.

Kline Volvo has the best service for my Volvo. Bo Dunaski is there to check my car in and he advises the expected finish time. The car is always within five minutes of his projected time. It is clean and I have never had any reason to return for something they missed. He is very professional, efficient, and seems to care about my time by having the car completed when he says it will be done.

From the second I got to the lot a smile and helping hand was there! They helped me with any questions I had and were very understandable and patient! It was my first vehicle purchase of my own and they helped me every step of the way and explained things very well. The day after I bought the vehicle I found out the heat didn't work. They were right on top of it, and more than willing to fix it! They came the next day to fix it and were generous enough to lend me one of their vehicles until mine was fixed! They got my vehicle fixed and back to me within days! I was very pleased with their attitude and willingness to help and also how quick they were! Huge shout out to them for everything they have done for me and all they do for all of their customers!

I Was dealing with a employee for 3 days on getting me approved for a vehicle i was really interested in also looking forward to getting and was doing All i can to stay in contact and keep everything on my end going good. So I was told I had to put another application in for a loan through them because i was told that the loan i was already approved for through RoadLoans was not accepted there which I dont understand why not so i did everything in my power to finish application. Then I got a text message saying the vehicle was sold which I offered to pay in advance for the vehicle to be held and was told i couldnt do so if thats not unprofessional then I cant tell you what is... I visited my local dealership (in Golden Valley) 3 times and gave up - they ignored me, were too busy for me and - apart from the sales manager - pretty much dismissive.Knew I still wanted a Volvo, but was hoping for a better experience, so drove 25+ miles further to try the folks at Kline. What a difference! Organized, professional, they let me drive a couple of vehicles, no pressure whatsoever and then found me the car I wanted. Definitely the right experience for someone spending over $50k on an XC90. Brought my 2007 S60 in for service, and finding that cost to bring it up to best condition would be more than the car was worth, I looked at other options. My day started by wanting to look at a 2012 VW Sportwagon that Kline had on their lot. I had been looking for that model car. This one had exactly the equipment I was looking for. After meeting a couple of old friends from a previous job at another dealer, I was introduced to Sarah Rentz. She was extremely helpful in showing the car to me and helping guide me through the car buying experience. I would highly recommend going to Kline Volvo for any new or used car purchases. Whatever you do, don't bring your car here. They will break your car and the useless service manager Ted Cahill will shrug his shoulders and tell you how he won't pay to fix what they broke. Brought my car to Kline to diagnose why the hood on my convertible wouldn't go down. The first time they told me how I needed new coil springs and a new liner but no clue on the hood malfunctioning - I would have to bring it back for that and I was out $140. I brought the car back and after an hour not diagnosing the problem, I was out another $160 and told it was take 3-4 more hours and $600+ to figure out what was wrong. I declined to spend another $600 on their incompetence only to get home and find I couldn't get out of my car - the door wouldn't open from the inside! I bring it back and you guessed it - I have to pay for them to figure out why the door that was working when I dropped the car off wasn't working when I picked it up. This is the worst car service racket I have ever seen and I have lived in 6 states. The Attorney General should shut this place down. I would give them -10 stars if I could.

Scheduled an oil change service and upon arrival was greeted by Bo. He efficiently checked me in and with in minutes my car was on its way to the service area. I love the new look the dealership has and was greeted by Karlene Byrnes who gave me a tour. The sales area is a wonderful design to inspect the many vehicles on display. The customer waiting area is very comfortable with private areas to work on computers and have a snack and cup of coffee. The car was finished quickly and Bo reviewed the work completed and walked me to the cashier's desk. The car was cleaned and looked perfect.Both Bo and Karlene were very pleasant and each has a positive attitude.

Last week, Kline Volvo checked the airbag warning light on a car I was considering purchasing. They found that some issues could be cleared up, but others would need to be repaired. They gave me a list of the issues with the cost for each, including a few non-airbag issues that would total about $2000 to make. I then talked the matter over with Bo Dunaski, whom I have a great deal of trust in. Because of this, I was able to make an informed judgment about the relative risk of purchasing this vehicle. (I didn't buy it.)

We just traded my wife's XC60 for a 2016 XC90. John Rogers helped us through the transaction and went out of his way to accommodate us. My wife changed her mind on the color and options so we ended up with more car than we initially intended to buy but we're very pleased with that result as the vehicle is stunning and drives very nicely. John demonstrated a deep knowledge of the vehicle and its features and took the time to "train" us on them. He did a great job for us. Our only concern throughout the process is that some of the inventory seemed mis-matched for Minnesota weather. White carpet and white leather for Minnesota winters? Seemed odd. Otherwise a very good experience.

Let me start by saying that I sent emails to multiple Volvo Dealerships as I stated that I was going to purchase a Volvo XC90 Hybrid T8 Inception model. I started in Phoenix since we winter in Arizona. When I didn't get an answer to my email for a vehicle that I knew they had on their lot I was somewhat surprised. Their website says that the dealership will respond with an e price to website requests... but I guess they don't. I did receive a cordial note from the manager a couple of days later saying he had sent my request on and that if someone didn't get a hold of me I was to contact him. Wasn't the answer I was looking for. Next I sent an email to Las Vegas..... I received a cordial response with the vehicle at list price which I already knew off of their website. I made a reasonable offer for an all cash with no trade in vehicle. To this I never received a response at all. Guess they also didn't want to sell the vehicle I knew they had on their lot. I next sent emails to the two Volvo dealers in Minnesota since we have a home there that we will return to in about 30 days. I explained in an email that I wanted to purchase a specific XC90 Hybrid that they had on their lot and listed on their website.I received email responses pretty much immediately from both Minnesota dealers asking that I contact them with more information. Minnesota nice again. I responded to both dealers and had a call from Kline Volvo within minutes. Leo Bucerra was the sales person at Kline on Saturday and was extremely responsive. I made a reasonable offer and was told that the manager needed to be contacted and he would respond as soon as he had an answer. I received an acceptance within a couple of hours and made a deposit on the vehicle over the phone. Fast , easy and honest upfront dealership to deal with. I was impressed. As a side note I did receive a call on Monday from the other Minnesota dealership following up on my request. I had already made the deal with Kline Volvo salesman Leo Bucerra on Saturday. His quick response and very cordial communications were a pleasant surprise. Since the Saturday I've had communication with Leo a couple more times with him following up on paperwork questions for the title and insurance info. Once completed I received an email from Melissa Daugherty finance manager. Melissa sent me a listing with costs of extended warranties and add on options that were available. She was not pushy and left the decision to me entirely. I appreciated the simple up front email and responded with the option that I did want the dealership to add. The contracts came by FedEx the next day and I've signed and returned. Simple , Easy Honest purchase. Love the people at Kline Volvo I've dealt with so far.I will be returning to Minnesota and picking up the vehicle in about 30 days. From what I've read of the reviews on Kline Volvo since then I'm very confident that I was lucky to have contacted the Kline Volvo dealership and worked with Leo Bucerra and Melissa Daugherty. I look forward to a long association with Kline Volvo.

After describing the vehicle we were seeking, we were given the opportunity to drive two similar vehicles. When we showed the most interest in a specific vehicle but it included expensive wheels which were not of intetest, the wheels were 'swapped-out' and the price was reduced. We have loved everything about Kline Volvo from our first interaction. They made the buying process easy and fun. Actually, most of the deal was made over online chat. Every time I go there for routine service I am reminded that they have a great model for providing customer service. With the recent remodel, the facilities now match the level of service they provide. I was able to take my laptop and comfortably work, connected to the excellent wifi connection, while they serviced my vehicle. Despite the openness and business of the space, it still felt rather quiet. They represent the Volvo brand well! I do not often go out of my way to review a business, unless I am thoroughly and repeatedly impressed. Such is the case with Kline Volvo.

My wife needed a safe, reliable and newer car. We already own 3 Volvo's, so we wanted the quality and safety, since my wife has to travel around the metro for her job. He fixed a problem with gauge telling me incorrect mikes to empty by doing a software reset. Of course, he made sure my car was thoroughly inspected and returned on time. I don't often take the time to write a review because my life is very busy. However, I was so impressed with the prompt service offered by this Volvo service center that I felt I needed acknowledge their excellent service. When the low battery warning light came on in my car on a Friday afternoon I called my normal Volvo service center (Borton Volvo in Golden Valley) and was told that they could not get me in later that day or any time on Saturday because they "only change oil on Saturday". I was offered an early appointment on Monday that I could not take because I had a full schedule of patients on that day and I did not want to cancel their appointments for something this quick and simple.Even though I had to drive across town and I had never been to Kline Volvo before, I called to see if my car could be serviced on Saturday and was immediately scheduled. On Saturday morning, they replaced my faulty battery within 30 minutes of my arrival and I was on my way again (they even washed my car). Their service was excellent!! Scott Muellner was very helpful and professional. At a time when most people are so busy, prompt quality service is very much appreciated! I will definitely return to Kline Volvo for service again.

Scott Muellner has been my service manager for two Volvos spanning about 15 years and has always provided honest, straight forward advice. Scott always places his customer's interests first.I recently developed some type of fluid leak in the car cabin and after discussing with Scott, indications seemed to lead to a heater core that needed replacing. A very costly repair for my 2006 XC70 with 175,000 miles. Scott scheduled my appointment, ordered in a replacement heater core and made arrangements for a loaner vehicle. About two hours after dropping my car off, Scott contacted me to inform that after inspection, it was not the heater core that was leaking, but rather a rubber housing that contained a lubricant that had become dislodged and leaked. Repairs were a fraction of the quote to replace the heater core.Scott's honesty and concern for his customers are some of the main reasons I continue to have my Volvos serviced at Kline. Thanks again Scott for your wonderful customer care. Greatly appreciated.

My second car was a Volvo 240 and it has been love every since. However, recently we purchased a used Volvo private party and it turned out to be... not so great. It was a good car badly used by someone. Bo Dunaski, in the service department at Kline Volvo, went the extra step to try and help us make lemonade. Thank you for trying Bo! Our experience with Bo was so good we brought the car back in for one more look over before calling the time of death.This is when Peter Carlson, in the sales department, stepped in to help. As you can imagine, we were still reeling from the recent loss of what could have been a loved one (we didn't actually fall in love with that particular Volvo though). Peter understood our financial loss and what was now a deeper need for a reliable vehicle. After a careful search, thought, patience, and of course no pressure ever, Peter helped us into our new delight!Within days of our purchase with Kline Volvo, my daughter and I (mom) set out for a 5,800 mile road trip. The only trouble we encountered in the midst of our adventures was a flat tire in a car equipped with a quality spare.Thank you Bo for your extra efforts! Unfortunately, the buying and financing procedure with the different dealers has usually been a tense, stressful ordeal for me. Even though I enjoy my new car, I usually leave the dealership feeling edgy, bullied, and worried that I didnt get a fair deal. Then I discovered Volvo. My last two purchases were Volvos, and Karleen Byrnes was my salesperson for both. Shes turned my car buying experience into a joy. Of course I would buy my third Volvo from her. The first purchase was extremely easy because I had actually purchased the identical car at another dealer and was treated so poorly when I was taking delivery that I canceled the sale and went to Kline (2.5 hours from home) and bought the same car. Easy sale for Peter!Skip ahead 4 years and I am purchasing my second. This was a bit more of a challenge because the car that I wanted was in short supply and despite their best efforts, every time that I found a car somewhere in the country, it was sold by the time we tried to get it. After losing a couple of cars, Peter called on the sales manager, Grant, to do some real time searching and calling to get me the car I wanted. We still struck out. Finally, after tolerating my rigid requirements, Grant made something work. We were able to get a car add add the missing options.After nearly of month of searching, I now how a car that I love and could not be happier. I would not expect this kind of service from ANY brand but I am glad to have gotten it from a Volvo dealer. I got a flat tire after running over a sharp piece of metal. On Saturday I looked online to see if I could schedule an appointment for Monday Morning. It was very easy to do. I had a 9:00 appointment, but I knew I was going to be late so I called Scott Mueller and he changed it to 10:00. When I pulled in he was waiting for me. He showed me where to wait and he was back in about 10 minutes with the metal they removed from my tire. The tire had to be replaced. They had it in stock. They put the new tire on and changed the oil and they didn't keep me waiting more than an hour. Excellent service and super nice people to work with!

I am planning to retire later this year. My wife and I agreed to purchase a Volvo XC70 for comfortable road trip vacations. We had previously owned 2 other Volvo station wagons but currently owned a Toyota RAV4. I was not satisfied with the stability of the RAV4 and it's seating was not comfortable on long trips. We went to our local Volvo dealer and they did little to earn our business. I called Kline Volvo to discuss a XC70 they had in there inventory. That car turned out not to have one of the accessories I wanted. I was speaking to John Rogers and he offered to do a nation wide search for the car with accessories and exterior and interior color I wanted. Within an hour John called back with several cars he had located. The pricing on the new Volvo and my trade from Kline was significantly better than offered by the local dealer. I never started out to buy a car from a dealer 5 + hours fro my home. John, Grant and Melissa spoke to me often on the phone, we exchanged e-mails and purchase documents were exchanged by UPS. Overall it was no more difficult than a local purchase. Everyone at Kline was friendly and professional. When I drove up to pick up the new XC70 I was greeted by John, Grant and Melissa. John was extremely knowledgable on the Volvo features and set-up. It was an enjoyable experience. Before you purchase a Volvo from another dealer I would suggest you give Kline Volvo and John Rogers an opportunity to earn your business. I did and am very satisfied.

When my old 1998 V70 XC AWD Wagon gave up the ghost at 208K miles, we decided to see if we could find another Volvo Wagon to serve our family. They are the perfect mix of commuter capable, family friendly, date-night stylish, with a wee bit of "I can throw the tent in the back for a car camping trip" kind of vehicle.We saw one listed online and I called about it. That evening Karlene Byrnes came back to the office to set us up for a test drive. Karlene completely understood that I didn't need to be sold on the car, that I simply needed to find the right car at the right price for my current situation.My mechanic checked the car (and aside from a few minor things to take care of) - he said it was one of the best pre-owned cars he had seen at that price (and even more expensive prices).Three days later I was set up in my "new to me" wheels and am looking forward to driving my 2005 Volvo V70 2.5T for a good many miles. My rating is for the Service Department at Kline. We had an issue with the switch assembly for the power moonroof on our new XC70. We live 2 1/2 hours from the Kline dealership, Ted Cahill and team made the pick up of our vehicle simple, they notified us of their arrival, called when they were 15 minutes away, were on time and left a loaner. They completed the work quickly on the schedule they had told us, and again delivered our vehicle as they had before, on time. Very happy with the Service Department service and courtesy.

Honestly, I had never considered Volvo until my son convinced me to at least take a look at a used vehicle he found on the dealership's website. I looked at and test drove many vehicles in my search for a car that fulfilled my requirements and stayed within my budget. I narrowed down my search to three vehicles (all 2015 models). To get the options (safety features like crash avoidance, lane assist, headlights that turn, etc...) that I wanted, I had to select high end options in ALL of the 3 cars. I chose the Volvo S60. The S80 was out of my budget range, even with the sales person (Wesam Khouj) finding all the credits that I qualified for (and there were a few) and a reasonable to good price for my trade in. Even after we closed the deal and a couple weeks went by, Wesam Khouj helped me when I was getting my insurance premium lowered due to all the extra safety features that I had included in my purchase. This time I called him and described the damage that a chunk of ice had done to the plastic deflector under the front of my car. He ordered the part and scheduled my visit a couple of days later. When it was determined that collateral damage had started an oil leak, he found me a car to drive while we waited for a second unanticipated part. I had a minor issue with the tire monitoring system. I called in to check on it and spoke with my salesperson who helped me and reported the issue to Scott Muellner. Scott called me and explained the process and what probably was wrong. The next day a pleasant young man drove up to Duluth with another vehicle for us to use, he took our vehicle back to Kline. The car was repaired and returned the next morning like clockwork. Never had service like this before.

I had contacted Kline Volvo and was able to speak with Mr. Rogers. We set up an appointment and met with that day. Mr. Rogers new what we were looking for and gave us a tour of all the vehicles that fit our requirements. John was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and made some great suggestions regarding possible options. We decided upon a vehicle and everything went smoothly. I was interested in the new 2015 XC90 and took a leap of faith by buying the First Edition of a vehicle that I had not test driven. The guys at Kline Volvo made an arrangement for a used XC90 that I have purchased to used until the new vehicle arrived next Spring. They gave me an agreed trade-in value with certain obvious constraints. The guys genuinely seemed just as excited about the new First Edition XC90 as I was and made sure I got my order even though the limited allocation sold out in hours. Cornelio Becerra was fairly new to the dealership but was very polite and professional. I'm certain he will become a great salesperson when his product knowledge is complete. The only negative I can mention is that there some confusion over paperwork and I had to revisit the dealer to sign registration papers a few days after I had taken the used XC90.

My 2013 Volvo gave me a warning that the AWD was disabled and service was required late on a Friday afternoon. I went online to the Kline website and booked a service for Monday at 11:00AM to allow time for driving up to the Cities. At the service appointment I worked with Scott Muellner who was excellent. I bought my Volvo at the other twin cities Volvo dealer and tried to get it serviced there but found it very difficult to get in even just for an oil change so I decided to drive an extra 25 miles and try the service at Kline Volvo and what a difference. Every time I call I can get in the day that I want and the car is in and out when promised. The people are always willing to help and a loaner car is available which I was never offered at the other Volvo dealership. The only negative thing that I can say that the loaner car I was given this time was very dirty inside with pet hair all over the place but I was still very grateful that they provided me with a loaner during my service visit. Jody Landburg did a great job keeping me informed of the progress during service and making sure that it was done when promised. I will continue to drive the extra 25 miles to have my vehicle serviced at Kline Volvo because they have provided me with such good service each and every time that I have needed it.

Last winter, after driving approx. 4000 miles, the transmission warning light came on in my 2013 XC60. We limped into a nearby gas station &, instead of calling the Volvo 800#, I called Bo Dunaski. After explaining what had happened, we decided to test our luck & try to make it the final 10 miles to our home. Bo agreed, but told us to call back. We managed to get home, driving in first gear, called Bo who decided the car needed to be towed in (from western WI). He gave us step-by-step instructions on what to do as well as details on what to expect. Before dinner that same day, the car had been picked up & towed away. The next day the service dept determined the transmission needed to be replaced & the original sent to the factory for feview. My husband drove me in to the city & I was given a loaner until I got my car back. Though initially disappointing, everything ended well. I couldn't be happier with service I've received at Kline - not only with this experience, but everything from ordering the car to the routine maintenance services.

I visited Kline Volvo to look at a used 2007 Saturn Aura that they had on their lot. This would be my first car purchase and I learned a lot of hard lessons from Kline. I ended up buying the car from them "as is" and it had 100,000 miles on it. I owned the vehicle for less then 3 hours before the transmission went out. Yes, about 3 hours and 60 miles put on it. Kline refused to accept back the vehicle but made sure to tell me several times how sorry they were for me. I had to pay $3,800 to put a new transmission in the Aura. I did eventually manage to get $750 out of Kline towards the transmission. I know that the transmission wasn't their fault, but they were selling the vehicle at KBB price and it was still their product that passed their inspections and they did not stand by it. They mentioned to me that I should have bought a Volvo.....When I got the new transmission put in I got it at a GM dealership because Kline thought it would be best for a GM dealership to do it because Kline had no experience working on Saturns. I also would have had to transport the vehicle over an hour back to Kline. The GM guys went to work at my transmission and noticed my tires. I realized that when I bought the car it would need new tires before winter. The GM guys took the tires off of the vehicle and actually showed me that the cords in the tires on the inside of the wheels, where I couldn't see when the tires were on, were popping out of the tires. Basically it was like the previous owner had never rotated the tires. The GM guys said the vehicle wasn't street safe and I would need to sign a wavier to even drive it off the lot. A second opinion confirmed this. A reminder this is about a week after I bought the car, I learned that the vehicle I drove an hour home on the freeway and that had passed Kline's inspection had tires on it that weren't street safe. It cost me $550 to put new tires on the vehicle, Kline's only comment was 'bought "as is."After a long and tedious process of getting a new transmission and tires for this car, I was only able to drive my vehicle for about a week and a half before my temporary license paper in the back window expired. I had not received my plates from Kline and after working with the Dealer Unit and the DMV for a week I was able to get my plates myself from the DMV. To their knowledge, Kline had never even put in the order for the plates up to a week after my temp had expired. Since I did this all myself despite my calls to the dealership I was also refunded $115 for my plates. Through out this entire process I was never in direct contact with the general manager. My case was handled through other employees. The checks also both arrived almost two weeks after the date I was told I would have them buy at the absolute latest. Buying my first car became an over a month process and a terrible experience. If I could do two things different I wouldn't buy a Saturn, but I would also stay as far away as Kline Volvo as possible. The only word to describe the dealership is incompetent.

My Volvo XC60 started making a thrumming noise from the rear end a couple of weeks ago. After ruling out a tire problem, I stopped by Kline on a Saturday afternoon and discussed the issue with Jody Landburg. She scheduled me for a convenient appointment the following Monday. The verdict: a bad rear bearing, which was replaced under the CPO warranty with no hassle. Jody delivered good customer service, which included arranging car service to/from my office office while repairs were being completed. Excellent overall experience.

On May 28th my 1999 Volvo S70 was rear ended in a freeway accident and declared a total loss. I was not injured, but devastated at the loss of my beloved Volvo. I've used Kline for over eight years for service and purchase. My first volvo was a bad experience (purchased from private party). Because of the level of service and the dedication of the Kline service and sales team, I decided to stick with Volvo brand, and I purchased a used volvo (35,000 miles) through their 100,000 mile warranty program. I ~love~ my car, and I have had nothing but excellent service through Kline. My car has almost 160,000 miles on it now, and it runs better than ever. I feel that every time I service the car there, it comes away a better car - I have never had a service issue "not fixed", and I have never, in all eight years, ever once been even remotely dissatified with the service department. I had a singular bad experience with a used car sales person there when I returned the recently purchased car for a tire issue, but that was an outlier experience - really quite unusual - , and service intervened and got the problem resolved immediately. All of the service personnel are excellent. I often think that they should give seminars on "how to handle customers" - they are truly professional, honest and dedicated. As far as price goes, I think a person is being unfair or naive to expect to drive a high-end, high- quality European (I guess Chinese now) vehicle and expect low-end pricing. Kline's prices are competitive and even better than other area dealers, regardless of the make, and their service is outstanding.

Let me start by saying, our salesperson Grant was wonderful. We hold no ill-feelings towards him. My husband and I visited Kline Volvo on a Sunday evening to check out their inventory without sales pressure. I found a car that I was really interested in with the price written in grease paint across the windshield. I looked for it on line but couldn't find it. So the next night, Monday, August 12th, we went to Kline to do a test drive and get more info. We learned that the car was a demo, which explains why I hadn't found it under the new car inventory on-line, and it was a 2012 model so it wouldn't qualify for the Aug sales special. Fine, not a problem. Did the test drive. Fell in love with the car! So we proceeded to start the price game to close the sale. To make a long story short, when Grant came back with the dealer's counter-offer to us, it was higher than the price written in paint on the windshield. Strange, we thought. Until Grant explained to us that the price on the windshield was the special Kline was offering in July. Wait a minute... Wasn't it August 12th? You mean to tell us that Kline is so incredibly busy that for 12 full days no one had the time to wash the obsolete price off the car?? Um, in our world I believe that's a little "bait and switch". Grant told us that Kline was really looking to sell this vehicle as it had been on the lot a long time, and what would it take to make the sale - but by this time the red flags were flying and despite the fact that in all actuality our numbers were not far apart, and because of the way the sales manager had Grant dealing with us we shaked hands and walked away. I still love that car and I'm incredibly disappointed we didn't get it.

When I went to dealership the car hadn't even come in on trade yet but by the information he provided me about the vehicle and it's history, I felt confidant enough to buy it without even seeing it. There were no gimmicks or tricks, just straight forward honest business. Jessica made the numbers for both the XC90 and my trade in work better than any other dealer could. I came in the next day to purchase the vehicle and it was exactly as described. John even managed to find me a cargo cover that he threw in for free! I have never had the purchase of a vehicle go so quickly and smoothly as it did here. Both John and Jessica are people that Kline Volvo are lucky to have and thanks to them they can expect to do more business with me in the future.

1) Charlie quickly approached me in the lobby area. I'm quite short and have to look up to see people's faces, so I stepped back a bit when he introduced himself. Just as quickly as I stepped back, he stepped *right* into my space, standing uncomfortably close to me. At that point, I should have left. 2) Charlie took his time talking about the car, wasting my time, despite the fact that I had already expressed that I'm there to test drive, only. It was later in the evening, and I was very clear that I had zero intentions of buying a car that night. Despite all this, he asked me twice what he can do to "put me in a car tonight." (I should have left then.) He took down my contact info "for their files," and at that point, I was VERY clear in telling him *not* to call me, that I'm doing all correspondence by email/on paper and will not take or return calls, *ever*. 3) We test drove the car, and I asked how much it would be. He went into the sales manager's (Jessica Katz-Moehlman) office to ask, and returned with a piece of paper with a number written on it. Four seconds later, Jessica came out running, crossed out the number and said, "I made a mistake! This is the *correct* price." and wrote down something that was only marginally lower (I believe give or take $100 less). It was some kind of two-bit act that I honestly was stunned by, because it was so obvious that it was some kind of acting tactic that they had previously rehearsed. I was totally turned off, and it was hard to keep from laughing. I'm not sure why I didn't leave then.4) Charlie then went away to some place, while Jessica chit chatted with us, further wasting my time. I had no intention of doing any of thisjust wanted to test drive the car. I'm not sure what was being accomplished with Jessica, other than she may do this to "establish rapport" or something with the customer? In any case, this was just frustrating to watch her swivel around in the chair while she asked us personal questions I didn't feel necessary to share. Charlie returned and they both asked about how they compare to other dealerships. Charlie was digging for information about how other dealerships are terrible in some waywhich was bizarre, unnecessary, and unprofessional. I REALLY should have left at this point.5) Finally, upon leaving, I repeated that he cannot call me because this is very important to me. I'm very insistent about this because I want to keep a written record of important things like prices in my car search, and I generally hate the phone to begin with. 6) At *8AM* on a *Saturday*, Charlie called to "check in" about what I thought about the car. After all this insisting on my part about NEVER, ever to call me, he calls me on a Saturday, so early in the morning. 7) Charlie continues to email me about "hurry, don't miss this opportunity!" kinds of emails about some impending ending of a promotion, even though I easily figured out from another, much better sales person from another dealership that it goes on for another month. I have no idea what the others are like at this place, but I would never recommend Charlie to anyone I know. He is clueless, pushy/naggy, and incredibly disrespectful of your time and instructions.

I normally do not enjoy buying cars due to salespeople and or dealerships not always having the most ethical people and processes. It seems that no matter what they are usually out to "win" and don't really care if you are happy in the end.My experience with Jessica at Kline Volvo was just the opposite. She never pushed me, but always gave me enough information to allow me to make the right decision for myself. When I first met Jessica I couldn't even believe she was a sales person, and then I found out she was the sales manager! No wonder her entire team was so wonderful through out the purchase, she has really set a culture of respect for customers.My Kline Volvo experience was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. They didn't even push extended warranties, but again gave me the information I needed and did not try to pressure me into it. Can't say I have ever had that experience before. Then the final step included a detailed review that went over every function and feature of my new car. When I left Kline that day I knew how everything worked in my car, another first for me.I would highly recommend Jessica, her Team and Kline to anyone looking for the most positive car purchase experience, not to mention the amazing car you will take home.

Recently I found out my family would be growing and I would need more space than the C30 can provide. Wihout hesitation, I went back to Melissa and she spent hours emailing with me with pricing, gathering quotes for trade in and telling me what stock would fit my budget. The ultimate customer service occured when I told her I would not be able to make it to the dealership to sign papers for several days due to my work schedule - she had the papers delivered to me. Since our purchase we have been in for service (which are complimentary) and we have had the same positive experiences. We bought a car from Kline Volvo after reading their online reviews; I have found online reviews to be very helpful before visiting any business. We also did this for Borton Volvo, but we noticed their reviews were much shorter, repetitive, and just seemed mundane. We looked a little further to discover they were all fake reviews (they are not the only dealership pulling these cheap tactics); after this we decided that Kline Volvo had a more HONEST reputation. I can report that Kline Volvo has stayed true with their honest and positive reputation!

My experience with Kline Volvo in Minnesota was amazing... The customer service was phenomenal. It was not haggling or over bearing at all, yet not un-noticed.. I was greeted at the door and seated in the waiting area with a nice gesture if I needed something to drink while I wait. I had spoke with one of the managers (Mike Theisen) regarding the car I would be interested in GMC ACADIA. He was able to get me EXACTLY what I wanted. It is so NICE and a great rate!!! The paper work with the other reps was a piece of cake and handled with care. I had previously test drove one and before I knew it I was driving the car of my dreams! I brag to all my family and friends about my car, the treatment I received and where to go if they are ever looking. I would never shop anywhere else from this day forward!!!

We just ordered a 2012 XC90 R-Design from Kline Volvo. We were also considering a GMC Acadia Denali, but in the end the look, feel and frankly the after sale support (free scheduled maintenance during the warranty period!) caused us to pull the trigger on the Volvo. In addition, we felt that the sales staff made the pricing very transparent and they gave us a fair value on our trade. The icing on the cake was that, because we wanted a very specific selection of features, we had to order a 2012 and they were willing to provide us with transportation while we were waiting on delivery. We are looking forward to a great long-term relationship with Kline!

Very happy with my Kline experience. The sales experience itself was positive and supportive. I've had a few questions about how things work (the itouch connection, the parking alert) and each time I've called or stopped in I have gotten the help I needed without any fuss. Compared to any other new care I've purchased, (a 1997 Volvo, a 1986 Saab) their personal attention has been remarkable. One perk I've not yet taken care of is this: every Saturday they offer a free car wash. The dealership itself is welcoming, bright and open. Those who work at Kline Volvo seem to understand the service economy with a capital S. PS: I love my Volvo XC70!

The dealership responded quickly to my e-mails and answered my questions. Their website was well presented an current. I was attracted by prices of their new volvos. They were #1 on a list of recommeded dealers by the buying service I use (USAA). The staff was very friendly and gave us good information and help in our decision to buy a car there. They priced the car (2011 XC90 Volvo) fairly. My only disappointment was low allowance for my trade-in(1999 XC70 Volvo). We plan to use Kline for service and maintenance even though we live 165 miles away.

As I have told many of my friends, my experience with Kline Volvo was the best car buying experience I've ever had (my first Volvo, but sixth car purchase). Melissa and Mike were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with information on Volvos and the new S60 from my first visit. Over the two months or so that I looked at cars trying to decide, they were extremely helpful and never pushy - occasionally updating me when they had one of the new models in to look at features or see the color options.Once I decided to get the Volvo, going with Kline was a no-brainer. During my search, I checked out the other Volvo dealers in the area and I felt like I was intruding when I walked into their dealership to ask questions. Since I knew the car and features I wanted would not be standard stock, I planned to do the overseas delivery and pick up the car in Sweden. After working with Melissa, we found that I could get a better deal ordering the car for US delivery (financing and upgrades) and she helped me time the order to take advantage of the Volvo offers at the time and get the exact car I wanted.When the car was finally on its way, everyone at Kline seemed genuinely excited to see it in person. Closing the deal and signing the papers are what sealed the 5-star rating for me. Dave had all of the paperwork in order for the purchase and financing as agreed when I placed the order and all I had to do was read and sign for the purchase and loan. No uncomfortable finance meetings or push to add anything. No added fees/services from the dealer. Just the price of the vehicle plus tax less my deposit. Five minutes and we were done.I worked with Amillie as part of the order and afterward to get winter mats and a trunk liner. She provided the ultimate service by placing the order, filling out the rebate forms for Volvo for me, and even installing the mats, plus washing the original ones and the car while I was there.When I have stopped back for the free carwash they offer on Saturdays, one of the people I worked with has always greeted me warmly and asked about the car. I haven't needed service yet, but hope for and expect a similar experience from the service team.

Total experience with Kline was positive. Jessica was incredibly professional and a great resource during our shopping and buying process. We did not feel pressured at anytime. She took the time to listen to our needs and worked with us as we were deciding between three different models. We landed on a new XC60 and could not be more pleased. We love the car. This is our third Volvo. Our first two were purchased in Chicago and at the competing dealer in the Twin Cities. The overall experience with Kline was by far the best of all. We live in the Southwest Metro (Eden Prairie) and I would strongly recommend Kline to others. Well worth the drive!

I was looking for 2011 XC70 T6 (turbo model) in Des Moines , but our local dealer didnt have them on the floor. We have found Kline Volvo advertising on the internet and the prices were very competitive. We have agreed on the model and price over the phone, put a deposit from credit card and set up a date to come and pick up the car. The location is easy to find especially in the days of GPS/smart phones. It did take a few hours to complete paperwork , to buy some accessories, and go over how-to use all controls and electronics with Peter ( or salesmen ). It was a great experience to get car from this dealership. Well worth driving from Iowa to Minnesota to get desired model of Volvo.

This is the way to have your car serviced. Very nice, clean and comfortable (no tire odors here). WiFi and work areas or comfy chairs or sofa including coffee and tea. They have always repaired my vehicle correctly the first time and not tried to upsell anything I did not need unlike the independent shops I have tried so it helps offset the price differential. Plus, they wash the car which is a nice perk!

I drive a 2005 Volvo S40 and, although it is a great car, I have not had the greatest luck over the past couple years. In the past two years I have needed two new computers, an oil pan replacement when I ran over a huge piece of ice (and resultantly oil spewed from my car) and a number of tows. I thank the very kind service staff for always welcoming my calls, especially after hours and I needed help the most. I also am pleased with the flexibility of the service team and either helping me find a loaner car, a shuttle to my office or apartment or completing work on my car in a timely manner. When it's time to replace my beloved S40, I know where to go to get a new car - Kline, because here I am confident I will be served well from the initial sale to my last service.

That is what I anticipated experiencing last Friday when I visited Kline to test drive a vehicle I was interested in. What I experienced was quite the opposite. Instead of being pressured to drive and buy, I was able to take my time exploring options, asking questions, and was not forced into any rash decisions. Our sales consultant Peter, was very diligent in answering my sometimes mundane questions, addressing my concerns, and worked very hard for me to get the sale done while adhering to my constraints. Most of the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, but the general sales manager needed a bit of extra encouragement from the client to get problems solved. Follow-up phone calls were difficult to establish. However, all problems did get resolved satisfactorily, and I have nothing bad to to say about the dealership. I would purchase from them again, as they provide good customer service and excellent financing staff!

We were very happy with our car, with Peter, and the customer service we received from the employees at Kline's Volvo. Our only complaint was getting our car titled in our state. I had to call the person who handles that when the paper never came close to 3 weeks later, and I was told it would take 12-14 weeks for us to receive it. I think they were confused that we didn't live in Minnesota. I had to explain to her I only had 31 days before our temporary permit expired, so I needed to receive the paper to bring to our county treasurer's office to get it registered and get plates and tags. Other than that, I was very happy and would buy a car from them again.

I picked this dealership because according to the reviews they were very easy to work with and since they've been around since I was born - I thought that was a good sign! Kline, however, was the first to offer me a deal on the car that I wanted with the options I wanted. They took my trade at a very fair value and discounted the new car generously. Melissa is a lovely person who has fun with what she does. I visited her at the dealership at least four times and emailed back and forth as well. We were able to agree on a fair price early on (checked this against internet competitors prices) and issues with the used vehicle were very quickly resolved in my favor. We had never considered a volvo before, but after our experience on the lot the first time and driving a few cars, we were hooked. We love our car and appreciate the extra attention Melissa paid us. After deciding we didn't want a new car, she drove a used car out to my work for me to test drive. I have never had such amazing customer service that went above and beyond my expectations for a car buying experience.

I just purchased my new car at Kline Volvo and truly appreciated the warm, sincere and professional treatment I received from Peter, my salesperson. I'd never been there before and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Peter was both thorough and knowledgeable and was willing to take all the time I needed to get my questions answered. I already had knowledge of Kline Volvo from their website and was impressed. The site was easy to navigate and informative. My husband, son (2 1/2) and me went to test drive the XC60. The first person to greet us with bottled waters in his hand was Peter. Peter is genuinely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made the entire day pleasant and there was no tension or pressure in the air; which is why I think my son was exquisitely behaved. Our quick test drive turned into an eight hour day. It was a long day but pleasant and in the end we did decide to buy the XC60 in the customer color Orinocco Blue. I probably spelled that wrong. Peter worked with us to help us get the family, safe and reliable car I was hoping we would be able to afford based upon our monthly car payment we decided on. The XC60 is perfect for us in every way. Peter also spent an hour and 30 minutes with me today getting 'Lola' that is my car's name (she is sassy) set up completely and went over the entire car from top to bottom. I have never had any car dealership or salesperson go the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction and happiness with my car and the dealership.Peter is an exceptional salesperson and Kline Volvo benefits from him being a part your team. I would absolutely recommend Kline Volvo to all my friends and family. They (Peter & Mike) made my car buying experience so easy. Great customer service. Everyone at the dealership was friendly. Peter was great to work with. We were looking for a specific make/model and year of vehicle and Kline had several available. Peter took the time to find out what items/options were important to us and showed us 2 cars that fit our needs and price point. The entire experience was low pressure (which was very nice) and Peter made us feel very comfortable with the sale. I would definitely shop at Kline Volve again!

It was a pleasant and smooth transaction. They were very helpful with the vehicles, both sales and trade-in, and financing. The dealership was a nice and open environment. I phoned Kline Volvo because the battery plate fell off when I inadvertently let my 18 month old daughter play with my keys while I was running errands with my 4 kids. Since the key was otherwise intact and did not need fixing, I asked if there was any chance they could help me out with just replacing the battery panel. Melissa said sure and immediately went to look for one, found one and offered to leave it at the front desk so I could pick it up at my convenience. She asked where I was coming from and I told her Stillwater. She responded without my asking that she "would be happy to drop it in the mail tomorrow." I thanked her and hung up. A few minutes later she phoned me back and said that the piece would not be easily mailed so she offered to personally bring it out to my home that night! I was astounded with her level of customer service and never would have even asked her to do that, but with 4 young kids, truly appreciated it!! She really went the "extra mile" and I will never forget her or your dealership. I definitely will only come to you for my Volvo servicing needs. With much appreciation, Mary Ann

I really enjoyed my purchase from Kline Volvo, my sales person really listened to all to me and found a vehicle I absolutely love! This is my third Volvo and I can say I am pleased with how wonderful my new car performs. When I went in for my first free oil change I was greeted by my sales person and while I was waiting for my car to be serviced one of the store managers came over and made sure I was still loving my xc90. Their facility is warm and very peaceful - I wish they had cable, but the free wi-fi made up for it. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I will send my friends their direction.

Before visiting your dealership, I visited another Volvo dealership and their customer service was nowhere near the level you displayed. I appreciate your willingness to go the extra mile, and even though there is another dealer closer, I will bring my vehicle to your dealership for service. When I discussed my disappointment with the other dealership in town regarding their poor customer service I honestly expected my sales associate to rip them apart and fuel my fire, however, Melissa and her Sales Manager were so professional it almost blew me away! Instead they showed me all the reasons why I should buy from Melissa and Kline Volvo. They offered me a 0% option, even though Volvo isn't offering this program. I can't stress enough how Melissa at Kline Volvo exceeded each one of my expectations! Thank you for earning me as a Kline Volvo customer for life, I will be sure to spread the word.

I have bought a few Volvo's from Kline and their competitor in the last 10 years. I can say that Kline Volvo has recently made some positive changes within their dealership. I was offered a bottle of water, my sales associate sprayed the Volvo off before I test drove the car, and probably the most important aspect: I HAD FUN! I have never laughed and enjoyed purchasing a car before. I was never pushed or pressured into making a decision. I will reccommend this dealership to everyone, both Jackie and Jessica went above and beyone to make sure I had all the proper information I needed to feel confident with my purchase. These gals really earned my business, and I will continue to spread the word. Kudos to Kline Volvo!

Bought a Volvo XC wagon from Klien. The whole experience has been terrible. Id gladly bring my car back tomorrow. Not because I dont love the car but because every and all aspects of their service has sucked. From trying to get plates, Getting a small chip fixed (which was promised to me to be fixed when I picked up the car) to a head light which has been out since I picked up the car and is still out 6 weeks later and they refuse to pick up any portion of the bill (This never would have happened at Honda, Toyota, or Nissan). Do yourself a favor and avoid buying here. I wish I had. I will never own a Volvo again.
