Purchased a 2007 Cadillac Escalade under the assumption Kocourek was a reputable dealer, not the case. Beautiful vehicle and ran good for about a month, then the issues started. Now it has electrical problems and sounds like a clunker going down the road. My bad for trusting them, their bad for selling this vehicle at a premium price. I feel they bought this vehicle from an auction, fixed it just enough for test drives and counted the money. Carfax report shows they purchased it from out of state so I'm probably not far off on my assumption it came from an auction. If you plan on shopping for a vehicle from them "PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING", don't just trust them because they are a big dealership.

I have taken my 2012 Equinox in for scheduled maintenance and repairs. I don't see how Kocourek could improve on the service that I receive when I am there. Molly is so friendly and professional that I look forward to seeing her! She has given me recommendations for car performance improvements. She even found a good coupon to help with my repair bill! I love the carwash that comes at the end of the service appt.

I went with my dad and sister to look for a newer used car and the service was wonderful. We didn't feel pressured and got to take our time looking. When we found my new car Mike Wasmundt helped us with the paperwork and he answered any questions we had and was very friendly. Carey was very friendly and helped explained all the paperwork when finalizing the car. And Brian was very helpful explaining all the tech stuff that came with the car. I purchased a 2016 Silverado HD. I was able to tell my Sales Representative what I was looking for and he contacted me when there was a vehicle that was available that met my specifications. He then worked with me to make sure we discussed any discounts or rebates that were available at the time of purchase. Mike did a great job of taking care of me before, during and after the sale. On Friday March 11th, 2016 I found myself at Kocourek Chevrolet with a need for a newer, used car with low miles and a decent price tag. Mike Wasmundt came out to greet me as I was looking around the lot. I told him what I needed and he was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful as to several different options that may fill my requirements. He didn't push any particular vehicles on me, simply showing me potential options and was happy to let me test drive several cars I was interested in. What makes a great salesman? Let the customer choose ;-) and he did. Always available to answer questions and throwing in two free car keys to sweeten the deal. Thanks Mike! My experience over all was very satisfying and I'm glad I chose Kocourek. Loving my new car!

I purchased a 2005 Ford F150 in September. Have had many issues with it from day one. I did not mind the fact of replacing parking brake, pulleys and serpentine belt. Not a big deal. My issues came from 4 wheel drive not working and ticking sound I complained about from day one. I was told it was normal on 3 different occasions. I later found out after 6 months it was the timing chains and camphasers. I also found when my 4 wheel drive was getting fixed that the wheel bearings were bad. Was that the dealers fault? No! that was not. It is not something someone normally checks. It was a cost of over $600 out of my pocket I also have additional out of pocket expenses of over $1500 on top of the $600. I paid 13K for the truck plus I paid for the extended warranty. Unknowing to me the warranty only covers $3000 worth of work. I was through that in no time and had to fork out over $2100 out of my pocket to keep this truck going. A person should not have to spend that kind of money after paying 13K for a vehicle. I was very upset and angry at first about this. I may have responded wrong at first also and I realize it. I am still disappointed because it has caused a financial hardship for me as I had to take out a loan to pay for the repairs to be made. This was the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from the dealership. We have always been satisfied in the past. At this point in time will I ever buy another one from them? No! Be sure to have a mechanic look over any used vehicle before you purchase. It may end up costing you more than its worth

I don't typically write reviews, but as I gave Kocourek Chevrolet General Manager,nplenty of opportunity to do the right thing and they literally refused, I feel obliged to follow up on my promise to them that I would share my negative experience. If you are going to buy from this dealer, please get everything in writing. If they make a promise to you, it is not worth the breath coming out of the mouth of the salesperson (no matter how sincere they may be). The management will not stand by their word, no matter how obvious the situation. Either buy elsewhere or GET IT IN WRITING. Don't assume they are making notes of your situation, because that is for show. Make sure you see everything you've agreed to in writing before you buy.Here is my specific experience. I bought a $15k used vehicle over a holiday weekend. First, my salesman was brand new. I was his first sale. I was actually glad at the time, because he was nice, and it felt good to help him out by being his first commission. The vehicle was great during the test drive, but the DVD player would not power on at that point. The remote didn't have batteries, and the salesman felt that was probably the issue, and the service department was closed, so they couldn't look at it. He and the finance manager promised that if there ended up being an issue, they would take care of it. So, after a week or so, we tried batteries but the system would still not power on. I attempted to contact the salesperson over the next few weeks to no avail. I finally contacted the finance manager who informed me the salesman had quit and went back to his old job. He had a customer service rep contact me, and we discussed the issue and said I could schedule to bring it in at some point, but at no time was I told there was time limit. A factory recall came in for the vehicle, so I decided to have it looked at when they replaced the recall item. I articulated that to the person I set up the appointment with, and everything seemed fine, until I arrived for my appointment. There was no record of the issue with my DVD player. I was then told that too much time had passed (3 months total), and they not only would not correct the problem, they would charge me just to diagnose the problem. Needless to say I was less than happy. I had them diagnose the problem (it cost me $125 just for them to look at it), which according to them, turned out to be an issue with the factory radio/dvd/navigation system. This would cost $1,100 for the part and they couldn't tell me the cost of installation. Of course I have no intention of spending any more money with this dishonest dealership. I sent an email with the same details in this review to the General Manager Greg Jensen, and was totally ignored. Please do not expect quality service AFTER THE SALE. This will eventually catch up with them, but only if we spread the word.

I stopped at the dealership last year and discussed a new car which they could not get at a competitive price. I am in the market again and have sent THREE emails which have been completely ignored. I even copied the new car sales manager. Hard to believe in this competitive environment that there are still dealerships with such an arrogant attitude. If you want to pay more for your new car than other dealerships than this is your place but otherwise forget it......................

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Jordan Nelson. Jordan was beyond helpful and help us through test drives of 3 different vehicles. He is very knowledgable, which made our decision easier! He answered our questions and also compared the vehicles that we were interested in. Marc Levy helped us with the purchase. He is wonderful to work with.Then Brian Yeager took some time to show us all of the features of the vehicle. And let's just say there are many! We can not say enough about these guys! I had been shopping throughout all the local dealerships for the right fit of a car. I found the perfect car for my desires and needs at Kocourek. I went into the dealership with a payment I wanted and the salesmen stated it would be no problem with the sticker price being perfect for the amount I wanted to pay. After sitting in the facility for over two hours, I had been signing the papers and the monthly payment was 125% more than I had stated I wanted. Super dissapointed in the communication between the salesperson and the finance management. I did all I could as a customer to make sure it was clear what I wanted, and ended up furious seeing the payment being so much greater than discussed.

went in my son to buy him a newer car' took 2 cars for a test drive went in to crunch some numbers , told the salesman that we were going to think on it over nite. he suggested that we might want to put some money down to hold the car and he'd have more information from lenders on interest when we came back in the next day I called the dealership in the morning and said we wanted to look at other cars yet. The salesman told me my down payment would have mailed to me that they don't keep money at the dealership....... its now going on 3 weeks and I have not seen my money yet My initial experience was good but that changed quickly when I didn't buy the car we looked at the night before and I had planned on still buying there until I went back to get my down payment .

Brian in sales helped me get into the right vehicle. I was in a financial situation and they were able to get me approved and in a safe car. Honestly, Brian treated me like I was family. He is honest and up front. Make sure you ask for him if you are buying a car. Kerry who did my financing paperwork was so dedicated and treated me like a daughter and gave me advice and explained everything to me. Both Kerry and Brian wanted to do everything possible for me. Brian who helped explain all the gadgets for me was very helpful and funny too. The customer service was fantastic. I will continue to do business with them im the future. I went to Kocourek Chevrolet and Lisa assisted me. She did not pressure me in any way and let me test drive all the cars that I wanted until I decided on a vehicle. When it came time to purchase the vehicle I had a trade in and told her what I needed to get for my car and she fought for me and got what I was asking. When it came time for the financing Carey went to work for me. I had okay credit and he found me a great interest rate and the payment came in right where I needed it. If you need a vehicle I would go see Lisa , Thank you to the both of you for all the work that you did for me to get a newer vehicle.

I've been looking at used Chevy Silverado pick ups for the past few months and saw one on Kocourek's website that I was interested in. I called in and spoke with a sales associate that informed me the truck was still on the lot and that I could stop by at my convenience to take it for a test drive. When I arrived to the lot the sales associate apologized for the truck having a little dirt on it and I told him it wasn't a problem. He got a copy of my driver's license and handed me the keys to the truck. Shortly after leaving the lot I heard what sounded like a chain dragging on the road behind the truck. I drove for a few more minutes and heard a ding. The truck was low on fuel. I returned to the lot after only about 5 minutes. When I returned to the lot the sales associate asked how I liked the truck. I voiced my concern about the sound I heard and he said, "I'm not a mechanic boss. The only way I could tell you what the noise was is to have a mechanic put it up on a lift. We have all of our used vehicles put through an inspection, so if it was anything major I'm sure they would have caught it." He asked, "So is that truck out of the picture?" I said, "No, but I would like a mechanic to fix the noise I heard before I'd consider purchasing it." He brought me inside and looked up a few other vehicles on the lot and then escorted me out to the lot to look at a few other trucks. I didn't see any other vehicles that really caught my eye so we went back into the dealership. We sat down and he asked me about the initial truck again. I said, "You know, like I said I'd want a mechanic to figure out what was causing that noise before I'd make a purchase." I also said, "I think the truck's a little overpriced." I gave him a number that I felt was fair and he shot it down right away. He said, "We don't negotiate prices. We follow the market values and with this economy the value that's on the sticker is what the truck is worth." I then told him, "I saw a truck on Gross Automotive's website that is the same year with similar features that is closer to my price." He then said, "Well if you think you can find a better deal elsewhere then I wish you luck my friend." He then flipped his computer screen around briefly to show me the going range for this model. I think he was surprised to see that the number I had mentioned was relatively spot on. Now I had anticipated paying a little more than the number I had started with. That's how negotiation works, but after that experience I probably will never return to Kocourek. I persisted that I was making a fair offer and told the associate if he changed his mind that he could give me a call. He said, "While the truck is on the lot we'll drop the price on it one time and then it'll be sent to auction if it doesn't go." He got up from his chair, told my fiance and I to have a good weekend, and led us to the door. I don't feel like my business is valued at Kocourek Chevrolet. And I didn't feel like I would be receiving value for my hard earned money had I purchased the truck at their asking price. For those reasons I would not recommend this dealership to any of my family or friends. If someone from Kocourek reads this I would make a recommendation to you. Treat younger customers as well or better than you would treat any other customer. People are creatures of habit. If you treat someone right the first time you'll receive their business for years to come. If you treat them poorly the first time you'll not only lose their business, but you'll lose their friends' business and now anybody who reads this will think twice.

We had a great experience finding the right vehicle for us while working with Charlie. We walked into the dealership not really knowing what direction we wanted to go, and walked out with a Traverse that I believe will be perfect for us. Marc also made signing all of the paperwork enjoyable. My husband and I both have said that these were people that we could see be "real-life" friends with. Yes, they were there to do a job, but they both seemed to have our best interests in mind. Brian was also extremely patient while explaining all of the electronic aspects to this vehicle to someone who is not the most tech-savvy person. ;) Overall, we were very pleased with the service we received from these 3 gentlemen, and would happily refer any of our friends and/or family to them. We even kept all 3 of them there past their scheduled hours, with no complaints. All of your hard work was very much appreciated!! Oh, and if anyone is questioning the one-star markdown in the "Facilities" category, it is only because of the blazing sun roasting us while at Charlie's desk that afternoon. Some blinds would be a wonderful investment. :) Other than that, the dealership was clean and welcoming.

Recently I bought a new Chevy Silverado from Kocourek in Wausau. After Brian Brofka and I shook hands on a customer friendly deal over the phone, we promised to meet the next morning. When I arrived, the vehicle was ready for my final approval and we proceeded with the transaction. Without any hassle at all, he introduced me to Marc Levy who made filling out the paperwork and endlessly signing my name very enjoyable. Both displayed EXCEPTIONAL customer service throughout the day and ever since then. Today, with a windchill of -30, Brian pulled my truck into the shop and personally washed and vacuumed the salt from the carpeting before installing my new truck mats. While I waited in their comfortable lounge, I bumped into Marc and we deepened our new, but great relationship. These two gentlemen made the least favorite purchasing task of mine, into a great experience and seemingly endless commitment to each other! Keep it up guys, you're awesome!

The salesman, Brian Brofka, didn't know it but I was testing him even before we said, "hello". I had bought from Kocourek before so I knew that this was the dealership to go to. But I wanted a salesperson who was willing to work for the sale. So, I drove into their lot on a bitter, winter day. I told myself if any salesperson would be willing to brave the elements and greet me just driving through the lot, they would get my business. Brian waved me down in his earmuffs and gloves. Brian had his sale in less than thirty minutes. I bought the V6 Chevy Traverse. I had done research on them and knew with Kocourek's large inventory I would find what I was looking for. I also had help from Marc Levy in financing (he even promised to help my daughter with her French homework). And Brian Yeager patiently explained how to use all the amazing features. I felt like I was working with friends.

I would highly recommend buying a vehicle from Mike Wasmundt at the Kocourek Chevrolet store. I am 21 and had never leased a vehicle. He explained every option very thoroughly to me and my mother; no pressure to buy. When I decided to commit to a lease, he made me feel like part of the Kocourek family; welcome to come in anytime for a car wash or ask any questions I had. My appointment was on time. The only issue and its not a big deal but the sticker showing when my next oil change will be must belong to another vehicle as it showed my next oil change at 121000. My truck has only 36000 miles on it. Other than that everything was good.

My family and I were out car shopping on a Saturday afternoon, when approached by a salesman by the name of Charlie. Our experience working with him was phenominal. Such a kind, caring, compassionate, honest man that exceeded all expectations. Marc, the financial guru was also one outstanding gentleman. I can not believe the level of service we received from these two gentleman. Charlie spent time with my 3 little boys tossing the football back and fourth. I truley feel blessed to have worked with such a terrific dealership, and very clean facility, and two of the best employees ever!!!! I have dealt with this dealer twice. I will never deal with again. I bought a car from them and it was very poorly pre-deliverd. Can you belive a used 2010 car that had wiper blades that were so bad that the blades did not have any wipeing rubber left on them. When I tried out the car it shook and shimmied bad at 55mph. They were supposed to fix and did somewhat, It wasn't as bad at delivery but was still there.I would never buy another vehicle from this dealer, and would not advise anyone else to!!! Oh!! by the way, they never did fix or offer to fix anything.

Absolutely an amazing experience. Being in the business myself years ago I come to expect a salesperson to be friendly in order to sell you a car. What we experienced at Kocourek was beyond that. Charlie was our salesperson and he was great. Mark Levy was outstanding in explaining all of our options as far as financing and extended warranties. What was truly great was Tom Hance who is a salesperson but didn't sell us the car. Charlie was unable to be at our closing (had a very good reason, going beyond to help an elderly customer in Park Falls). Tom was not asked to help us. He simply took it upon himself to make sure we had coffee, changed our plates, took our new car to get gas (we didn't expect that), gave us a car to use to have lunch while we waited for my wife to show up with my son's checkbook. Did I mention it was pouring rain when Tom did all of this. He got soaked to make us as comfortable as could possibly be. Found that a taillight was out and replaced it. Charlie made it back before we left. The car was used and the visors would not stay all the way up. I told him that we would take care of that. I brought what I needed to fix that minor issue. My son and I inspected the car and the first thing we noticed was that the visors were fixed. Nice touch. I love it when things are done because it's the right thing to do and not because you have to. Such a great experience. They take customer service very seriously. I have never shopped there before but I will definitely in the future. That whole crew should be very proud of the way they do business. Extraordinary.

Overall I had an amazing experience at Koucourek Chevrolet. Kim Haase when above what I expected to get a hold of a car that was brought in a few days before I saw the add online. I was impressed to be able to see the car before detailing and test drive it and find out if it had any kinks. Found a few and Kim was right on it getting it fixed. Even the minor rust spot that was going to cost me to repair at Yachs was done in house for no extra cost! I love my new car and the amazing 5 year roadside assistance. Mark got me in the next morning to go over paperwork and payments. These guys are very personable and great to work with. I was going to purchase a car out of the area but Koucourek Chevy really impressed me with the honesty and price point that what a bit negotiable. I will recommend to family, friends and anyone that will listen. Thanks!

We had purchased a vehicle six months ago from Kocourek Chevrolet. It did not meet our expectations and was not large enough for our family. We returned to Kocourek in regards to a trade in for a larger used vehicle. We were offered a low trade in value, and they would not negotiate. We were dismissed easily without any questions or offers. No way to go back in time six months, but if we could we wouldn't have purchased a car from them.

It all started when I went in to Kocourek's with my mom and dad to see about purchasing a new Camaro. I went in with the intention of ordering one straight from the assembly plant. I sat down with a salesman and he initially told me that they hadn't sold any of these cars to anyone under the age of 50(I was 19 at the time). He asked me what color and what options I wanted on the car. I told him that I wanted Imperial Blue Metallic for the color and told him what else I wanted and he entered it into his computer and searched to see if any cars from nearby dealerships matched what I wanted. There where none. So he looked at the similar ones. Now, the price of these cars range from $33,000 to $45,000 and the one that I wanted with my options came out to around $41,000. If I am going to spend that much money on a car, I want it to be exactly the way I want it. No different color and no missing options. So I told him that I was interested in ordering one. He told me no one does that anymore these days because they have this new system where they can trade cars with other dealerships to get one that matches my options. So I asked him the price of what my options would be and he told me he would give me a call the next day and that he would keep searching for a car. so the next day rolls around and he calls. He told told me he found a car for me. He proceeded to name off a car and its options. It was missing half the stuff I wanted. I said no and asked the price once again. He told me he would give me a call the next day. This was right after the earthquake in Japan happened(May 2011). So he calls me the next day. He told me that he found a car for me, and names off two cars, one that was the same from the day before, and one that wasn't even in the color I wanted! I told him no thanks and that I really would prefer to order one. He then says ok, so what color would you like? I told him that I wanted Imperial Blue Metallic, and I know for a fact that he already knew this. He then says I'm sorry, but GM stopped taking orders for that color yesterday. What I got out of this? I believe he knew about this deadline and intentionally waited me out so I would be forced to buy one off the lot. So I went elsewhere.

We knew the moment we walked in that we were going to enjoy a wonderful experience. Our Sales Rep., Charles was great! He helped us find the perfect car for us without the pressure we have found in previous car shopping. Marc was very helpful in making sure we understood the financing end of things. This is our second vehicle we have bought from Kocourek Chevrolet in Wausau, WI, and we have no regrets. Both vehicles we have bought were in great shape, and have treated us very well. When you walk in the staff is very friendly and try to help you the best they can. The salesmen, (Jordan) was very helpful and thankfully not pushy at all. He asked what we were interested in, and the price range we were looking for, then after driving/looking at a few of our possibilities, helped us find the right one that met our needs/wants. After we found our perfect match, Marc helped us out with the loan process, and made sure we knew everything we need before we left the building. The first vehicle we bought got totaled, and when we called to get help with buying a new one, and with the GAP insurance, they were right there to help and answer any questions. Because they are all so helpful, nice, and don't make you feel like a fool for asking a question, we will always be coming back to them for any future buys. Thank you again Marc and Jordan! I had to quickly look for a vehicle, as hit a deer unexpectedly and had no backup. It was a tough situation and we were apprehensive to start looking for another car. I had a recommendation from a co-worker to check out this dealer. We started here and intended on looking at used or program cars. I test drove one and found the service to be very helpful and informative. We truly had no idea and hadn't looked at autos in a long time. From the start, the sales team and staff were extremely helpful. We ended up deciding to check into purchasing a new vehicle and were happy that the service and recommendations met our needs. It was understood our situation was urgent and Kocourek Chevy was very accommodating. It was a good experience and was happy by the welcoming atmosphere. The outcome purchased a new 2013 Chevy Cruze with much more than I expected. I picked up the new car and feel it definitely was the right choice for me. I would recommend stopping buy to see the no haggle pricing and what you find.

Wonderful Customer Service! Excellent knowledge of their inventory, and the financing process was effortless on my part. I came in with a list of cars I was interested in, and was given the chance to test drive them. Through the course of the test drives Toby really got to know what it was I wanted in a vehicle and suggested one I hadn't noticed in my search. It was the perfect car, and within my price point.

I was in the market for a vehicle for the past few weeks and seen a decent price on a vehicle I was looking at. I called the dealership to inquire and talked with Adam. That day he called me back 3 different times to give me different prices on my trade in as well as their vehicle. When they say, straight forward pricing and no haggling and whatever else kocourek claims to be, they are wrong! The customer service from day 1 was below a rating of poor. Please reconsider when in the market for a new/used vehicle from kocourek, you will be glad you did.

We have done business with Kocourek previously for a used vehicle. The experience we had with them then is what brought us back again. Aaron is fantastic at his job and would bend over backwards if it meant keeping his customers happy. Toni is one of the finance managers and does an amazing job. We ended up paying a little more for our vehicle than we had hoped but Toni was able to search the market and find us a loan payment that we were comfortable with. Kocourek has made us a customer for life.

Our search for a new vehicle began with a test drive in the Chevy Cruze. Kim Haase made us feel welcome and was very informative, yet never came across as being pushy. When we came back for another test drive (this time the Chevy Equinox) we requested to talk to Kim and once again we were treated with respect and given plenty of time and assistance to make our final decision on our new Chevy Equinox! Both my husband and I decided it was time to trade in the older vehicles. This place offered the best selection between all the locations. I had found something I liked on the internet, and email about it. The next day I had people searching for vehicles tha would fit my needs. I quickly found that everyone was willing to go out of their way to find me exactly what I wanted no matter how long that took. I specifically worked with Adam Krueger and Marc Levy the most. Both of these guys are FANTASTIC! They were personable and very friendly and I really enjoyed getting to know them. Adam Krueger was an absolute pleasure to work with as my salesman. He was polite, friendly and easy to talk to. Before I was sure about wanting any car on the lot, I knew I wanted to buy from Adam. The car I ended up purchasing was exceptionally clean and still felt new even though it was a 70k mile used car; this was a huge plus and what I was looking for. I did expect to receive the car with a full tank of gas, but it was half full. A minor detail, but it still was a minor tick against my expectations when spending so much. I have no doubt that had I asked about the full tank before driving away, Adam would have made it happen for me. He is passionate about his career and is sincere in his desire to have a happy customer. The Kocourek team is lucky to have him on board. The financial aspect seemed rushed and I would have liked to have known the APR rate and monthly payment before I arrived for closing. Perhaps that is the way it is always done at Kocourek, but I didn't enjoy feeling like I was being surprised by the lengthy purchase agreement. The monthly payment for the amount financed did not match my amortization schedule I had with me on my phone during closing. I have 26 credits in college level math, including an economics class, and when I got home and worked the numbers out long hand I still ended up with the same payment as my phone app. I don't know if it was in Toni's job description to understand bank rate amortization, but I still feel uneasy about the discrepancy. With $12,627.17 financed at 2.99% for sixty months, I should have a monthly payment of $226.84, not $227.12. I understand this is a matter of $16.80, but I'm an engineer; it's my job to notice discrepancies. In conclusion, my overall experience with this purchase was a good one. I would recommend this dealership to others. A response to this review might even increase my praise.

Adam listened to what we were looking for and showed us exactly that. He knew the car was for me but that I had two extremes of opinions with me and helped me find what I wanted and helped me make the right choice without being pushy or a typical car salesman. I appreciate that! He was extremely patient with us and let me test and compare the cars we were looking at. He was so very nice. I feel like he really took care of me. Toni was also great. Kocourek has been highly recommended to me, and after my visits I understand why. One of our vehicles has gone in for service there, and Molly has been fantastic to work with. When it came time to look for a vehicle Kocourek was on the list. Coming in to the dealership to look at vehicles was very stress free, and I felt no pressure. The vehicle I was interested in had been tentatively sold, but when it was put out for sale again Adam called me immediately. When I called him back he pulled the car off the lot until I could make it in to see it. Everyone was very friendly, and made the car buying experience much easier for me. I went into the dealership on a Saturday looking for an Equinox. Aaron came out in the rain to help me and within a few minutes I was test driving what in a few hrs became my brand new vehicle. I was given wonderful customer service. Aaron was extremely polite and informed about the vehicle I wanted. He went above and beyond any service I've ever had at any dealership. Greg Jensen took time from his very busy schedule to introduce me to Terry Schuett and we spent several minutes talking about the type of car I might be interested in; Terry & I spent a long time talking about the Cruze, went for a test drive and he then gave me the keys and told me to take the car for the afternoon. When I returned, Terry greeted me and he got information needed for purchase. He then introducted me to Marc Levy. Marc & I spent a long time talking and he obtained the information he needed for financing the car loan. We decided on some options which he was able to give me very detailed description of; made a decision as to when to pick up the car.On the day I picked up the car, I was greeted by Terry & Marc; spent time with both of them finishing up paperwork and general conversation. Sunday I went online and found the perfect Equinox. It had everything I wanted in one, leather, moonroof, and all the goodies. I emailed for more information, within an hour Aaron emailed me back ON A SUNDAY, he told me they were closed but he would get in touch with me right away Monday, as he did! My husband and I had been dreaming about owning a new Camaro since Chevrolet first announced the concept car. We had been looking at them for quite some time and "someday" was always the end result. We drove through their lot on a Sunday evening, as we have done countless times before with various Chevrolet dealerships... there it was, "the one." But sadly, we drove away thinking our usual, "someday." Monday, my curiosity got the best of me and I sent a request for more information via their website. I was surprised when, within minutes, a very friendly Aaron Bares called me back. We set up a test drive for the very next day. Shortly before we arrived, we were told that the car was not on the lot, it was being shown for a raffle in Weston. We drove a different Camaro and in that moment, realized we had to get "our Camaro" back! Aaron and Charlie got the car back and we took it home that night!! The next day my wife and I came to the dealership not knowing what to expect. I was not sure what to think at first as many other dealers in the past were both rude and unprofessional. May 16th I cosigned a lease for my grand-daughters new 2012 Cruze. I knew nothing about leases and was quite impressed the way Aaron and Tony handle it. We bought my wife a new 2012 Camaro last fall and I just love driving it, but don't get to as much as I would like. So I asked how much to lease a new Camaro?The lease payment was in the ballpark, Charlie located one in southern Wisconsin and had it to Kocourek's by Monday. The paperwork was done and I took delivery of 2012 Ashen Gray RS Camaro on Wednesday May 23. Everyone was great to work with and I'm one very happy old man.

Friendliness: Kim and Tony were very personable and agreeable to work with. I did not feel pressured at all while at the dealership.Overall Experience: I bought an HHR from Kim in 2011 and came back to buy another one this year. We really like our HHR and really enjoyed working with Kim. He was very knowledgeable of the product and answered any questions that we had. I did not finance through GM or the dealership and Toni knew this up front so there was no "sales pitch" from her for me to listen to.I like Kocourek Chevrolet very much and recommend it to my friends all the time.

Dealt with Adam first he is very good and not pushy. Then did financing with Marc phenomenal person to deal with. Was willing to stay late on a saturday night to work with us due to my boyfriends very hectic work schedule. Marc did this in a very friendly manner, he took the time to explain everything VERY VERY well. Was willing to call and make us reservations at Olive Garden on top of everything else. I would definitely recommend both Adam and Marc to anybody we know, or anybody we don't know, Searching for a new vechile. We will definitely be back!

We went to Kocourek to look at vehicles, ours was 10 years old and at about 100,000 mile mark and we were deciding if we should buy or hold off knowing that we are at the point of needing to put money into it, if we kept it. So we went with open minds and open hearts. From the moment we were on the lot and out of our car all the way through to purchase there was nothing less than excellence. Robert came over and opened up a few cars for us to look at. We talked about keeping our van or upgrading and Robert offered suggestions both ways but never pushed us. We must have looked at 8-10 vehicles before we found one to test drive. I was happy to hear Robert tell us that make sure we see "what the pick up on the vehicle is". He took his time with us; both my husband and I drove the car. He pointed out neat things to our 10 year old daughter on the car that she would like. Once we got back, we decided to run the numbers. We found out what they would offer to us for a trade in and it was a great offer. So, we met Marc, the business manager. He sat down with us, explained everything and all of our options. He was kind, and considerate and very thorough. He asked what would we be comfortable with for a payment and we gave him our highest that we were willing to pay a month for a payment. He said not to worry about it, let him do all the work. He got several estimates on rates and payments, and also on the length of the loan. I wanted to know the differences in monthly payments if it was based on 60, 72 and 75 months. He got several quotes from various banks so when we went back to sign papers, he had all of our options listed out for us. He even came in under my highest payment amount that I would go! Robert played hide and go seek inside the building when we were going through the numbers with Marc. When all was said and done, I was given the keys to my new car, and hugs all around! It was the best experience I could ever have hoped for. I went back a couple days later to pick up a key that we ordered for the car, and Robert and Mark came out and said hi, and got more hugs. They wanted to know if I liked the car, if I had any problems, they even offered to wash the car for me again. I would recommend anyone to go to them even if you are just looking around, or dreaming of a possibility. We never felt pressured, and Robert worked so well with us and Marcs service was outstanding. We give them a 10 in our book! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

I found their website online and found a car I thought I would be interested in so I drove there the next day. I called ahead and they had the vehicle out and waiting for me when I arrived. The salesman, John and a newbie Chris met me at the door and I was offered refreshments and given the keys to the vehicle to take for a test drive. I liked the car so we settled on a trade in price for the car I was driving and made the deal to my satisfaction. Even though the car seemed spotless to me they cleaned it again while we did the paperwork. To complete the deal I had a visit with the business manager and was offered an extended warranty which I took. My wife and I who live in Milwaukee were in the market to lease a new car. My daughter recommended Kocourek Chevrolet in Wausau since she had just leased a car there. Since she was so glad that she went to Kocourek I decided to give Jordan Nelson a call. He explained all of our options and worked with us to get what we wanted in a vehicle and stay within our budget. I then talked to Marc Levy and gave him all the information he needed. Both of these people were very courteous and friendly. When we drove to Wausau to get our new car, Jordan met us at the door and even showed us around the dealership. Then he sat in the car with us and showed us how everything worked, including setting up our Bluetooth and Onstar. Marc followed up with all the paperwork. Both were so easygoing that it made the whole process enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Kocourek to anyone who wants to buy or lease a vehicle!!

Aaron worked with over a span of a couple of months and worked through a few hurdles to get this deal done. We managed to do the whole deal over the phone and internet and when the time came to deliver I was working so many hours I could not come to Wausau to pick it up. Toni and Aaron arranged to have it delivered to my work. Toni and Aaron were always quick to respond to my questions and returned calls and emails promptly. First of all, I would rate Marc Levy a "5". He was outstanding! Very personable, caring, and did what he said he was going to do. Marc was very credible and I would send anyone to talk with him to get a great finance experience. Keep up the great work, Marc!Our experience with our salesperson. . . not as wonderful. We purchased a used 2011 Chevy Traverse and basically knew what we wanted before even coming to the lot. When looking at the car we found several items that needed fixing (one of them I was very surprised was overlooked in the safety that is done on vehicles before being placed on the lot - a missing seatbelt in the middle row of seats and because of the missing seatbelt whenever the seat was put down it gouged into the seat and tore a nice size hole in it). Prior to picking up the vehicle everything was basically fixed that except for the seatbelt which they had to order. Very understandable! Kim seemed to understand that this was an inconvenience for us and offered a tank of gas, dinner, or again a "free oil change".Trying to actually get to have a conversation with Kim to get an appointment scheduled to get the seatbelt put in and seat sewn up was a different story. We played telephone tag because every time I called I specifically asked him to contact me at work but instead he would call and leave a message at home. My husband and I both work full time during the day and live about an hour away so getting the vehicle back for the work took some planning. Kim asked if we would be able to drop the vehicle off the night before then he would see if he could get us a loaner (we appreciated this gesture. I left him a voice mail letting him know that the day would work for us and requested that he call us back to let us know if he was able to get us a loaner. Never did get a response from him. We drove to the dealership and he was gone for the day. Another salesman was able to hunt down a loaner vehicle for us (as one was not ready for us). Thanks to the salesman who helped in Kim's absence! The loaner was a nice vehicle but was given to us with a 1/4 tank of gas. We made it back to our home city but of course had to put gas in the tank or we wouldn't have been able to get the vehicle back.Thanks Kim for the car wash when we picked up the Traverse; however, it really would have been nicer for a tank of gas in our Traverse to compensate us for the inconvenience that was no fault of ours.We felt Kim was a typical salesman. . .promised the world. If he truly followed through on every time he promised a "free oil change for our troubles" I think we should have received 4 of them. There is nothing that turns us off more but someone who is says something and doesn't follow through.

A special thanks to Rob Hartwig at Kocourek Chevy. Rob is the only person that we would purchase our vehicles from at Kocourek. All I can really say is "WOW!!"Regarding Aaron: He was so great working with my husband on the Malibu he purchased. Aaron was so informative, friendly and helpful in ever aspect! Regarding Marc: Same review, although it was my husband buying the car and not myself, I went with him. I have bought MANY cars in my life and I have to HONESTLY say, I have never had such a wonderful experience as I had with Aaron and Marc. They were so prepared with all of the paperwork and thorough, I was amazed.I have 12 year experience in Customer Service so I know how people like to be treated and they were both amazing! After visiting one of the "other" dealerships on Grand Ave, and waiting over 45 mins to try to talk with anyone I left very frustrated. I stopped into Kocourek Chevrolet and within minutes of pulling into the lot was greated with a smile and was given all the help and info I needed. Without the stereotypical used car salesperson pressures. Giving them were my credit was approximately and the price range I wanted I was given multiple options to look at. From beginning to purchase and even after the sales team went above and beyond my expectations, and made a fairly major purchase which can usually from my experience be some what stressful, become a easy and fun experience. I have thought about the whole experience and can not think of anything negative about Kocourek Chevrolet. Without a doubt would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to stop here FIRST! And furthermore that "other" so called dealership on Grand Ave should ask Kocourek for some tutoring in customer service.

Me and My husband came from Medford to Wausau to buy a used car, trade in our old car. while we were going over the paper work the new Sonic caught my eye!! It is a beautiful car, I love the look , the price!! Ten air bags,the gas milage1. We were not hear for me to buy a new car!! But let Kim know we were in town to take a sister out for lunch, he said go ahead take this one out to lunch drive it around. I came back with a , was to be a firm no. But he says let me see what kind of a deal we can give you, a two car deal, long story short, both of these gentlemen, worked hard all day, took us threw the car, the paperwork, and I drove home my new car!! That very day.!! I am so excited, Kim told me to get my on star started ,on my way home. I was so excited I couldn't remember my address and had to call my husband. My first experience with Kocourek was in 2011 when I bought my 2005 Dodge Stratus. I had it for a couple months and then decided I wanted to trade it in. So I looked at other car dealerships but didnt find anything that I really liked for the price. So I went onto the Kocourek Chevrolet website and fell in love with a 2010 Mercury Mariner. I called and talked to Terry Schuett, he was very kind and prompt at getting back to me. I went up to Wausau (which is about 2 hours away) 3 days after I had talked with Terry. I was introduced to Marc Levy who bent over backwards to keep the monthly payments in my price range, he was AMAZING! I had to bring my 3 year old with and he was so friendly to her even when she spilled her hot chocolate all over his desk. He assured her it was ok and even cleaned it up! He went above and beyond for us. So I bought the car on a Saturday and by Thursday that same week my check engine light went on. I called Terry and he asked if we could bring it in. My fiance brought my car up there and spent 5 hours waiting for them to basically tell him that he would have to bring the car back the next week because they didn't have the parts in. So to make a long story short I drove 2 hours one way 2 times a week for 3 weeks because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. That is where Mitch (mechanic) comes in. He was very nice and very understanding with my frustration and he did everything to the best of his ability to try and help, I however being impatient did not want to bring my car back for the 4th week straight. I had called Terry and left a message he had a secretary call back who had no idea what was going on so I had to re-explain everything to her because Terry for whatever reason couldn't call me back. After I got off the phone with the secretary I called Terry back and to no surprise I never got a phone call back from him and still to this day have not talked to him since. I figured since Terry was the man who sold me the car he would be the one to help me figure out how to fix the car, but in the end Mitch and the GM Greg Jensen saved the day and made up for the month of problems and driving back and forth. Greg sent a Kocourek employee to my work to give me a loaner car and drove my car back to the dealership where they ultimately had to take it to the ford dealership to fix it. They had my car for a week and Mitch called me 2 times in that week to keep me updated. I received my car back today with a full tank of gas and a nice car wash. Although I had problems a month straight with my car I would still reccomend Kocourek to anyone who asked because of the outstanding service I got from Marc Greg and Mitch, I honestly would never go back to Terry I didnt like his attitude or the way he was professionally. But a HUGE appreciation to Marc, Mitch, and Greg. Thank you guys for a job well done and getting my car fixed!!!!!

Most AMAZING sales people I have ever worked with! Kim Haase was the 1st to greet us and was genuinely friendly & professional right off the bat.It set the mood for the rest of the very long day. If it wasn't for Kim and his quality salesmanship I'm not sure if we would've stuck around to see what Kocourek had to offer. Kim and Marc were both very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, outgoing, courteous, generous,hard-working, and just plain amazing throughout our extended sales experience. I was very fortunate to walk into Kocourek and to check out a newer vehicle, and Aaaron Bares stepped forward to greet me. From my first encounter with him, he made me feel at ease. He was professional, but personnal, and seemed to have my best interest in mind.He was patient with me, as I was indecisive.Having never been responsible to shop independently for a vehicle (my husband of 40 years passed away last Nov.), he strived to explain my options in detail, but was not pushy. He told me to think about my options and let him know what I decide.When I called him back to tell him I was ready to buy a new Equinox, he assured me he would give me the best price possible, and helped me to select my vehicle, knowing that this decsion was huge for me. Because I wanted the Mocha colored vehicle, and there was none on the lot with a sunroff, he arranged for timely delivery from another dealership, as well as a loaner vehicle to use for the weekend.Aaron expressed many time how customer service was his goal so that he could gain the loyalty of me and my friends and family.I almost feel sad my business with him is complete, as he is such a genuinely nice guy, seemed very trust worthy and I enjoyed doing business with him. We just bought a Mercury Mountaineer from Kocourek Chevrolet, and it was the BEST car buying experience we've ever had! Marc and John were so friendly and helpful! They made everything seem so simple and easy! They were both even great with our 2 year old, who had no nap and was rather crabby! We were looking for a nice, used mini van for our family. Initially, we found van online. That is a great tool for people that live out of the area. Their website is customer friendly and very detailed. When we got to the dealership later in the week to pick up the van, they had everything ready to go for us. They were both very professional and everthing that they quoted us was accurate. I like the fact that they are very "tell it like it is". It was a pleasure to do business with them and am sure we will again in the future.

I went to the dealership not really sure what to do. Terry Schuett was extremely friendly and helpful and took care of all of my needs and concerns. He was very proficent and helpfull in finding the car I was looking for and wasted no time in making sure everything was in order. He made buying a newer vehicle a very stress free experience. Jeff Keller is a wonderful man! My daughter absolutely loved the "curly haired" man :) He was so sweet to her and also myself. He worked with me on my trade in and really went the extra mile to help me out and get me into the vehicle I wanted. My husband and I were blown away with the excellent service we received from the staff of Kocourek in Wausau. I worked with Marc Levy in the past and was delighted to see his friendly face when I walked into his office. Buying a new vehicle can be overwhelming and stressful. I never felt that way at all working with him.Both he and Terry were extremely patient and thorough and made both my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Both my husband and I work unconventional hours at our jobs, but Marc stayed after hours to make sure we were taken care of. Terry also was very helpfu and stayed over past closing time. I would definetly recommend Kocourek to everyone I know. Marc and Terry are now our go to vehicle guys from here on out. We also worked with Aaron Bares on a Saturday. My experience with Kocourek Chevrolet was my very first experience buying a new car (or in my case, leasing a new car). I've always owned older used vehicles, and decided it was time to move on to a better, more reliable option. Deciding on a Chevy was easy, as I've always driven Chevys. But since I've never purchased a car from a dealership before, I was apprehensive as to what the overall experience would be like. I didn't want to be pushed into anything I wasn't absolutely sure about, and I wanted to have enough time to really think things through financially. I also wanted to be as clear as possible about the lease terms and my responsibilities throughout the lease term before I signed anything.Thankfully, I can say that Kocourek exceeded my expectations, and offered me everything I was looking for in leasing a new car. Specifically, Jordan Nelson was extremely helpful in choosing the perfect car for my lifestyle and my budget. I never felt pressured into making any decisions, and I felt I was given all of the information I needed upfront, no sales pitches or anything to make me uncomfortable. I decided on the 2012 Chevy Cruze, which was perfect for me. Jordan walked me through the vehicle's capabilities and all of its controls, and explained everything quite thoroughly. Then I met with Marc Levy to discuss the financial obligations in leasing a new car, and he explained everything down to the very last detail, so I left feeling I was making an informed decision. Returning a few days later to fill out all of the paperwork and trade in my old car, I had the same positive experience with the same people. Jordan took me through the OnStar program and had the new car all ready to go, while Marc took the time to go through the lease agreement and everything else very thoroughly, so I had no worries when we were finished, and I felt confident in my purchase. Overall I would recommend Kocourek Chevrolet (and Jordan and Marc specifically) to anyone looking to buy or lease a new (or used) vehicle, and I'll be referring others to Kocourek in the near future.

Kocourek is not a regular car dealership. Their customer service goes beyond expected. We didnt even have to go inside the building to get assistance. When I finally received approval for the new Sonic, it was a Saturday which meant they closed at 5PM. Marc and John were willing to stay after hours so that I could get my new car. I didnt leave that night until 8PM. I was very pleased with the service that I received and I love my new car. I would recommend Kocourek to anyone looking for a new or used car. Marc and John really worked some magic. Thank you.

We went into Kocourek mostly expecting the same old dealership routine. Our experience couldn't have been more opposite. Marc & Jordan were great, they treated us with respect. We have already recommended Kocourek to co-workers, friends & family; we will continue to do just that. We love our newish (new to us) vehicle and when it's time for another we will go back. We first learned of Kocourek's willingness to go above and beyond for their customers from friends, they were right on. Do not get sucked into false advertising for "$4000 more than your trade is worth" or overcompensated enthusiasm on the radio, they are shameless and you come out feeling terrible. If it sounds too good to be true...it is!The other staff that work at Kocourek are friendly and take the opportunity to smile and say hi as well. It's a just a good feeling over all.

From the minute my wife & I entered the dealer showroom we were made to feel very comfortable with no pressure to purchase right now. Rob listened to what my wife & I were looking for in a car and did his best to accomadate us. Rob was very honest with us about which accessories for the car may or may not be suitable for are driving habits. Recent visit to Koucerek Chevrolet for Used car shopping . Found a vehicle I was interested in Aaron worked with me for the next week with the truck and waited while I wrapped up selling my old van . Also along with Marc Levy they helped me attain the truck I could afford . On the test drive I noticed a slight wander of the wheel to the left , when I asked Aaron if possible could they check balance , pressures and rotate tire's / wheels he did not hesitate , he got it done . the truck then drove very well . In all it was a pleasurable experience buying from Koucerek , very knowledgable , courteous and not pushy , I would recommend them to everyone if shopping for a new or used car / truck !

My wife and I were looking for a specific used car. Aaron took the time to search and find this car for us.Even after finding the car we werent completely sold on purchasing this vehical at this time. I cannot give a high enough rating to Tony Long and Kocourek Chevrolet. I took my 2005 Colorado in because the check engine light came on. Tony worked me into the daily schedule and got back to me quickly with what my problem was. He already had done the research into if it was covered by a service bulletin before he called. He informed me that they could maybe get it fixed by the next day, but wasn't sure, because sometimes things don't go as smoothly as expected. He informed me early enough the next day that they would not be able to get my truck fixed by that day, but he had already taken the time to set a rental car up for me. When he called the next day to tell me the truck was done, he had me come in, explained to me very clearly what was done and even took the time to walk me to the truck and show me what was replaced. He was very professional and informative throughout the entire process. I could not be more satisfied.

For my wife and I, it's a 100 mile drive, one way, to visit. That in itself tells you something about our satisfaction with this dealership. We've been there three times now and have always been treated with the utmost respect. Their concern for helping us with our concerns is always their main goal. I'm a hands on kind of person, knowing that they always keep me informed and involved. While all this is going on, my wife Jane, patiently waits in the customer lounge. Usually knitting. Once we had everything in order with the car, Terry set up a courtesy car for us to get lunch. Back from lunch the car was ready. Be careful test driving used vehicles on their lots...they don't even look at them before they put them out..Safety is an issue sometimes. DISAPPOINTED!!!!
