I just leased my second car with Mazda and my parents leased their first. From the second we walked in Jim Mendez and his manager Saiful were nothing but helpful! They even remembered us from 3 years ago when I leased with them the first time. They gave us so much attention and worked with us the whole time to make sure we were happy and satisfied with what we were getting, from what kind of cars to the price we were looking to spend. One of the best Customer Service I have had in a while, first time I went to Koeppel Mazda i was greeted at the entrance by a Sales Rep called Tom, as I started to look around he asked me if i was looking for something in particular, right there I saw the CX-5 and I said, that's what i'm looking for, so he showed me the car and explained all the details about it, then he gave me some space i believe it was for me to explore the car without his presence. After this he approached me and we scheduled a test drive. I was in love with this car, but as a first time lease, i didn't want to jump into it until i shopped around. He was very pleasant gave me his business card and even introduced me to his Manager Saiful, what a good vibe this man has, but either way i had to keep looking. On my second time i wen't just to see the colors and to double check the CX-5 make sure my 2 year old son will be comfortable in his car seat. The third time i wen't Saiful the sales manager received me and we started talking price, we wen't back and forth, but you know what, I left with my CX-5, the process was nice and smooth, didn't feel stress at all, every single document i signed was explained in details by Marcus Plaza business manager, i even made changes and he gratefully changed the paper work. At the end of the day they are Excellent in there service A+

I went to Koeppel Mazda to look at the CX-5 2016 and to get some information I wasn't planning to leave there that day with a car but I did. The experience with Koeppel Mazda was great. My sales associate, Ronnie Das, was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, fair and very professional, he also took the time to explain the difference between the three models and its features. He asked me if I wanted to take the car a test drive and I did the drive was long enough to get a real sense of the car. He was patient and responsive to my questions. After I signed all of the paperwork, Ronnie took the time to show me the car and walk me through all of the features, as well. Ronnie Das was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Koeppel Mazda, and Ronnie Das, specifically.

I find that walking into a car dealership for most people, is an intimidating experience. You succumb to the overwhelming wave of anxiety as sales-people pressure you into making a purchase. From the moment I walked in, he exposed me to a genuinely friendly environment. He gave me my space and made me feel really comfortable being there - a complete opposite to some of the other places I've been to where everyone was in your face. Chris took the time to get to know me a little, asked me about my preferences and what I had imagined myself driving. He explained to me the pros and cons to every vehicle, and worked out every price range to my selections that fit accordingly into my budget. I walked out of there with brand new CX5 in red! (Which is also an awesome car by the way.) And most of all, I didn't go home questioning myself if I had made the right decision. My husband and I were recently in the market and went to several different dealerships to find our new car. We went to a few and didn't feel like we were enjoying the process. That is until we went to Koeppel Mazda. As soon as we walked in one of their salesmen, Raul Jiminian, greeted us very warmly and was courteous from the start. He explained the features of different models very thoroughly, he made us feel like he really cared about helping us pick tt the stress, strain, or tension usually associated with that moment. They gave us a very fair and reasonable offer for their car, without any haggling, he right car, and even offered a test drive before we brought it up. When the time came to negotiate, it felt more like a friendly conversation withouand more importantly, didn't make us feel pressured to make a decision right then and there on the spot. His manager, Saiful Islam, was also very helpful and personable. He sat down and spoke with us so that we knew exactly what we were about to invest in. Our overall experience with the dealership, with Raul, and with Saiful, was wonderful. We love our new CX-5 and have already recommended Koeppel Mazda to our friends, family members, and co-workers.

First and foremost, I came in this dealership with my "guards up." I was ready to make a purchase on a 2014 cx9, expecting to be haggled, back and forth negotiations and what have you. Castro greeted me, did the usual walk around ( quite entertaining might i add ), and to my surprise offered me a test drive which most salesmen does not do anymore. They usually wait for the customers to ask. Even though I have driven one before, I still accepted his offer and for s*** and giggles i even asked if i could test drive a cx5. All he asked for was a few minutes to pull the car out. When it was time to talk about price Everything went so easy from a to z. My calculations on monthly payment down to the finance persons calculations were pretty much "spot on." Castro's manager, saiful made my experience delightful as well. Had a few laughs here and there. Give these guys a shot...very honest, upfront, easy going and made me feel like i was not buying a vehicle at all. Small dealership but you know what they say " the best things come in small packages." Now i know why they've been in the business for so long.

I bought my new car here and have serviced it here for 4 years; trusting them to do the right thing (even though they have always made me perform services most people told me were unnecessary). I have bought 4 new tires at this dealership in the last year alone. I received a flat on one of them two months later and paid the $180 to replace it with another new one. A week later, the same tire blows out while going 20 mph on a local road. When I went to the dealership to ask if they would cover the replacement I received unprofessional treatment from the manager, Mike. He right away treated me with an attitude, didnt even look at me in the eyes, and told me to wait while they looked at the tire. After waiting for 1 hr and 15 minutes he told me that he would not cover the tire. He proceeded to tell me that I knew nothing about cars/tires. When I told him that I wanted a receipt to record my visit so I could receive a customer survey, he refused to issue me one. He was very unprofessional and I will never go back to this dealership again. I cannot believe a manager would choose to lose a loyal customer over a tire.

Its New Years Eve and I just picked up my Mazda 6 from Koeppel. I got an excellent deal on a new 2014 model thanks to the exceptional service I received from Christopher Gonzales and Saiful Islam.Four days ago I read on the internet that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety was awarding Top Safety Pick + to cars that had not only excellent crash test results but also offered crash protection technology. So I wanted the technology package on the Touring sedan with Safe City Braking which used lasers to stop your car before you rear ended someone in congested traffic. It also had a blind spot and backup camera system with cameras to warn you of unseen obstacles. I got quotes from several dealers in and around New York City using the excellent search tools on Mazdas website. I also brought my car in to the two dealerships with the lowest prices to compare trade in value. Koeppel was the clear winner, but I was hesitant because they did not have the color car I preferred in stock.With very little time left until the year end $500 cash rebate promotion ended, I took Sales Manager Saifuls word that he could get the car of my choice through an exchange with another dealer. I am very glad I did. I saved hundreds of dollars over the other offers when Saiful brought a car down from Connecticut this morning.Christopher spent hours following up on the cars registration, insurance and preparation, personally installing the wheel locks and cargo net I requested. He then sat with me in the car until after dark to set up my navigation system and sync my phones Bluetooth connection.When we parted and went home to celebrate New Years Eve I sincerely thanked Saiful and Christopher for their determination, effort, and reliability in getting me the exact car I most wanted.

Had a great experience at Koeppel Mazda!!! I went to a few other dealerships before ending up at Koeppel and that was my last stop. First time I went in, I was there for about 4 hours, asking a bunch of questions, test driving the 2014 CX5, which I love by the way and just getting as much information as I could. This was my first time leasing and I also had to trade in my '09 Accord, the Floor Manager Saiful Islam and my Dealer Jim were amazing, so patient, so welcoming and most importantly so Honest, it felt like I was hanging out with family instead of purchasing a car! Definitely recommend going to Koeppel Mazda to purchase a car and make sure to see Saiful and Jim. I'm looking forward to returning my lease in 3 years, obviously to get a new car, but most importantly to interact and do business with those guys again! Loving my White Mazda CX5!

I searched high and low for a used Mazda5 with less than 50k miles on multiple websites including Cars.com and Usedcar.com and read many dealer reviews. Every time I found a "great deal" the dealer reviews were negative stating you would not get what was promised as far as price. When I found the car I purchased and read the Koeppel Mazda reviews the negative comments were few and far between. From my first email inquiry right down to signing on the dotted line I was given honest answers to all of my questions and was even able to "haggle" a few more dollars off the bottomline internet price. No surprise dealer prep fees, no added "pinstriping" for extra bucks, just a straight forward deal. My salesman Chris Castro was professional and straight forward and being that I was making a purchase on a Sunday night I had to come back for a full NYS inspection. The 2nd key was still in its packaging and the battery was dead, I was promised a new battery when I came for my inspection. Well, I went back a week later and everything went just as promised. The only thing I would say some people may have a negative comment on, but that I actually appreciated is, it is a "no frills" dealership. They didnt offer us food, drink and entertainment that other dealerships do, but I always found those to be a distraction for the customer as they found ways to get more money from you. We had a cup of water and a straight forward deal from a friendly no pressure salesperson, that to me is a rarity.

I came into Koeppel Mazda looking for a Mazda CX-5 and as soon as i got into the dealership Luis greed me with a warm welcome but i was nervous from all the stories I've heard from dealers and pushy sales people but my experience was completely different at Koeppel Mazda. Luis guided me to the Mazda CX-5 having great product knowledge; what i liked the most was that he never pressured me into buying, he just wanted me to feel comfortable and make sure i was getting the right vehicle. Besides the vehicle i was looking for a monthly payment that was affordable into my budget and Saiful the manager helped me so much; he was very flexible and easy going and never pressure me at all, and i have the car that im in love with and a great deal. This sales manager, Saiful Islam, is very "profit oriented". Which is nothing wrong; however, their quote price is way higher than other dealers. My recommendation is to look around before you make your final purchase at this dealer.The incident that I've experience, which I think it's worth to share: When we sat down and discussed about the sale price, and Saiful mentioned that he CANNOT give me any discount, because it's a new car with high demand. He said that he can give me the invoice price, so that I know how hard for him to earn his living with the small gap of price different between the MSRP and the invoice price. Saiful asked one of his employee to bring me the invoice, and that employee brought an invoice that has more than $5,000 difference between the MSRP and the invoice price. He quickly took the sheet back, and said it's a mistake and it's for a different model.At last, I didn't purchase from this dealer and started to search around carefully in case this incident happens again.

The people there were very helpful and friendly. When I came in I wasn't sure of what type of vehicle I should get a sedan or SUV. Javier pointed me to the right direction and Saiful was great. He treated us very well and with respect. The price negotiation was great. He even gave us a complimentary 1st service on the house and koeppel Mazda goodie bag which had a flash light tire, pressure gauge and a coffee mug. I'm gald I bought Mazda 3 there.

There is a person named Saiful who appears to be running the show. He is unethical, dishonest, and overall, very sleazy. We had a very bad experiencing purchasing a car there. We know what we wanted, it was a done deal when we walked in a 9:30am. After several apparent screw ups, we left finally at 5:30pm. Saiful promised a price, we "closed" on it, then after processing the paperwork, he changed his mind. Terrible experience overall. Avoid this dealership.

If you do business with Koeppel Queens Mazda, don't assume any verbal assurances or Internet offers will be executed in your final paperwork. Be sure to check everything carefully. We made the mistake of going in a time crunch (we were overtired and needed a new car to leave on a vacation!). Our salesman, Francisco, unfortunately for us, left us waiting around most of the day and ended up telling us one thing and doing another. He folded the paperwork, and distracted us while we signed it, in such a way that we did not realize we were being hoodwinked. We feel foolish to allow ourselves to be tricked into paying a higher price than the "Internet" price we were emailed about by this dealership. We were also assured by a very confident Francisco that he could and would get us another half point off the interest financing. He assured he would have the interest rate lowered at the time we signed the agreement which he never countersigned. We actually thought he would send us a revised and corrected agreement after we left with the car to go on vacation. Sadly for us, ethics, honest professional behavior, and valuing long-term customer relationships is not what we found at this Mazda dealership. The service department was the same way. Don't assume they perform the services as promised. In a minor, but telling, example, they did not even refill the fluids a standard part of the "check-up". I also had to make a second trip there two days later because there were problems with all four tires!

I went to a couple of other Mazda dealerships but the personnels at Koeppel Mazda were very friendly and had an outstanding devotion to their customers. I was looking around for the best price on my mazda 3 and the salesmen at Koeppel were very easy to deal with, they weren't pushy at all. explaining me the different financial options and were very easy to agree with on the price and offered me the best deal. Gianfranco was my salesperso. he was very patient and respectful with all of my questions. Saiful the sales manager, came to greet me and thanked me for my business. I love my Mazda3 and the people at Koeppel madethis experience very satisfactory and I would totally recommend the dealership, they even gave me the vehicle with a full tank of gas ,a free service appointment, and a gift bag.

Let me tell you before walking into Koeppel my sister and I went to another dealership, we told the sales associate what we were looking for and what we were willing to spend. Lets put it this way he didn't even want to give us the time a day a total of 5 minutes was spent in and out. We then went into the Koeppel dealership and we were introduced to Luis Espinal he took the time to listen and work with us on helping to find what we were looking for. We didn't make a purchase at this time because the SUV we were intereted in was sold off the other lot. He will be keeping an eye out for us and will be calling me when something comes in.

Jim Mendez was very helpful both terminating my current lease and arranging my new one. He did not pressure me to take a car he had. Instead he encouraged me to wait for the model, color and features that I wanted. When there was a feature I did not want but it was the only trim available, he worked with me to make it worthwhile. This is my 4th Mazda from this dealership. I would not go anywhere else.

Got there with my daughter to look for Mazda CX-5 2013 and the manager referred me to Louis Espinal, He's just an extraordinary salesman, he worked his butt off to please me, getting the numbers over and over and over again, just to meet where I am. But this is probably my mistake that I didnt look or check my own finances, and I ended up cancelling the deal due to over expense in my part. But I would recommend louis any day to other people, he's phenomenal!

I actually bought two Mazda 3 cars for my son and daughter. Not only are the cars one of the best I ever drove, they are top rated in safety. I have been to many dealerships over the years and found Koeppel absolutely fantastic and blows away all other dealerships. Jim and Nelson are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I would recommend Jim without any reservation. I needed a fast replacement for a car that was totaled. We went to the dealership at approximately 5:45pm on a Tuesday. We dealt with Jim. He showed us the cars we wanted to see and we ended up being interested in one. We explained several times that we were in a rush and were interested in driving the car off the lot the next day. Jim made it clear that pending the credit approval that wouldn't be a problem. We put $200 down to hold the car. We were told we'd hear back early in the afternoon Wednesday. 24 hours later after several attempts to call the dealership we still had not heard anything. Given our situation we went to another dealership Wednesday evening, received fantastic service and decided to purchase a car there. When we got home that night we had received an e-mail (not phone call) from Jim stating he had to take the day off and that our credit was still pending. That led us to believe that despite our desire for speed, the credit application had never been submitted. When we went to the dealership Thursday to get our deposit back both Jim and Francisco were very rude and clearly bitter that they lost the sale. Had Jim called us, instead of e-mailing us it would have kept us from going to the other dealership and they'd probably still have the sale. Lesson learned. If people want to spend a lot of money, fast you don't leave them hanging.

One of the worst SALESMEN EVER! 'CARLOS E VELEZ', I was really interested in leasing a CX-9 (2012), the only think that turned me off was this Salesmen, I don't know about the others or the Manager, but from my experience there, I would say the sales/management is very poor, they look like they have good vehicles, but the wrong type of Salesmen representing them.. The are not professional, they are very aggressive sharks only interested in how they can get the most money out of you.. there is no professionalism or negotiating skills.. YOU ARE BETTER OF BUYING YOUR VEHICLE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I can't say enough good things about the service I received at Koeppel Mazda. Randy took excellent care of me. He took me on a test drive of the Mazda CX9 and told me all about the car. I loved the car so much , that I purchased it on the spot. The dealership was very efficient and made sure that everything went smoothly for me. After I received the car, I had some issues working the trunk and brought the car back for service. Asked if they would match price offered to me on a 2012 Mazda5, was told there policy is to match and they would. Just go over on Sunday (yesterday) and could finalize all.When I got to the dealer, the manager had some words with the salesman, who then came back and said they could match but only if I paid in cash, not financed.I spent yesterday making sure I could come up with the cash. Today, I e-mailed them to ask who bank check should be payable to, was told they'd have to get back to me. Then said they needed another $700.If you have time to waste, deal with Koeppel Mazda. I don't and won't deal with them any further. As a busy person with no time for typical dealer games, my experience with them was very disappointing.

I was undecided between the Mazda 6 and a few other cars: mainly Honda Accord and Toyota. I test drove the mazda 6 and had good impressions of it initially. I also drove a Honda Accord later in another dealership and was thinking of buying that instead. Points going for the Mazda: I liked the car initially and I was offered a great price. I had concerns about its reliability though. The sales person: Ian was very helpful and did not try to pressure me to buy the car. In the other dealership - I was pressured to buy the Honda. This factored in my decision to purchase the mazda. So while I did like the Mazda and was interested in it -- I decided fairly quickly on it based on my experience in the dealership. And the buying experience also went quite smoothly with no hitch. Ian was also available to answer any questions and contacted me several times to get my feedback. As far as customer service here for sales - it was excellent.

Garrick was the 4th dealership I called. He was courteous, helpful and fair. When I gave him my requirements and the quotes I've received thus far, he came back with a fair quote that beat out the rest and was true to his word when I arrived at the dealership. He also epitomized the word 'service' and made my entire experience of leasing a new car pleasurable. He answered every questioned patiently and fully and helped tremendously with my decision. He sat with me for a long time going over the features of the new car (he even hooked up my bluetooth phone to the car's bluetooth) and it was evident that he had a deep fund of knowledge on every feature of my Mazda CX-9.When the time came to switch cars, he even helped transfer my belongings. When I forgot a few items in the old car, he stopped by my place of work the following week and brought my items to me. Although Woodside is at least a 40 minute drive from my place of work and home, I would highly recommend buying from this dealership because of their competitive pricing and the quality of the buying experience that they offer.

A good friend of mine had recommended Francisco / Koeppel Mazda. I went to the dealership with some general pricing info from other dealers that I had visited and from online resources such as kbb.com and edmunds. Francisco was knowledgeable on many aspects of buying a new car and seemed very willing to share that info. He listened to what I had to say, was open to negotiation on price and did not pressure me in any way. 0% apr for 60 was not currently being offered by Mazda so I did not make the purchase on that first visit. As soon as it was though, Francisco was quick to follow up and we subsequently bought a new CX-9 Grand Touring AWD. A great experience, I highly recommend Koeppel.

Overall I had a great experience that went very smoothly... made an appointment over the phone for a test drive for the next day. I showed up and was very quickly lead to a car and went on the test drive. The salesman answered all my questions and even showed me his own car (which happened to be the model I wanted). Pricing negotiations were a breeze. Even the financing was superfast (got 0% financing) and they didn't try to push anything on me. Before I drove off with my new car, Garrick went over all the car features with me one last time. I would definitely go there again to buy a car.

When I first walked into Koeppel Mazda I was there to just look at the Mazda3 car. Garrick Huie, my salesman came over to me and started telling me about the car. He really knew the car very well and went over alot of things with me, even before the sale. Well I was currently looking for an SUV with great gas and great on now. But I always loved a Mazda 3 Hatchback. Fantastic experience. Had lined things up with John in advance who put me in touch with Francisco. They promised to beat the best deal I received and followed through on their word. Francisco was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had leased a Mazda CX9 elsewhere and after he spent time with the new CX9 I realized I hadn't been taking advantage of half the features on my old car. My overall experience with Koeppel Mazda was by far the best I encountered during my new car search, they were very helpful and did everything they could to get me in my new car! I absolutelly love my new Mazda5, it's perfect for my family!!! These guys were awesome!!!!

I brought my 2009 Mazda 6 I Touring in for service and it has to be one of the worst I have ever experienced.The first time I brought it in was after I noticed my transmission fluid seems to be leaking, took it in for service and I get a call the next day telling me that they looked at it and it seems to be my fault that the fluid is leaking. Mind you the car had about 23,000 miles on it which is still under the 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. Somehow the problem was blamed on me and I had to pay out of pocket, even though clearly I couldn't have made the fluid leak unless I took a drill to the transmission. Fine I pay that and have them fix the problem.The second time I'm taking it in is for my driver side rear suspension leaking gas. I took it in for service and they call me back the next day and tell me that there is nothing wrong with the car which clearly is not correct. Seems as if I'm seeing things and the technician says there's nothing wrong with it when clearly you can see the leak on one of the suspensions but the other 3 are fine. They e telling me I need to pay them for diagnostics check which I have never heard of someone being charged for it when the car is still under warranty. Its not the money that's a problem its the principle, it seems that every time I take the car in I need to pay out of pocket so what is the warranty for? Why does Mazda even offer it when they don't fix anything?At this point I give up on Mazda and it's service, I'm going into the dealer tomorrow and returning the car and have them refund me my full amount back that I paid for the car since I paid it all in full when I bought the car. Either they refund me my money or I'm not paying the retarded diagnostics fee.I've had a 2006 Pontiac GTO before and have taking it plenty of times for service and have never found anything and was not charged since it was still under warranty. I spoke to a couple of my friends which have a variety of cars rang from Acura, Toyota, Benz, BMW and they all said the same thing their companies do not charge them for diagnostics check when the car is still under warranty. It seems that I went with the worst car company possible.

Overall good but a little disappointed with the trade in value we were given. The car we traded in has many top line features that we don't feel were taken into account in the value they gave us toward the new purchase. However, we love our new mazda!!!

Had a very good experience with this dealership from beginning to end. Visited another nearby Mazda dealership right before and called around to some others in the area right before and it was just completely different from the first phone call on. They were friendly, gave a fair quote over the phone and were very pleasant to work with during the entire process from the beginning to the end. Rob went out of his way to find my car in a different color from another dealership and spent a lot of time walking me through the car's features and Evan made the painful task of going thru the financial paperwork a pleasant experience. And we couldn't be happier with our car.

Joe sold us the car quickly. There were no hidden costs. He was very up front and we cut the deal fast. This is my 6th lease and it was the smoothest and with no nonsense that I ever experienced. I never owned a Mazds and if I like car either I'll buy or definetely go back to Joe. I hope I know someone that wants a Mazda I will definetely recommend Joe.

It has been 15 years and 200,000 miles since I purchased a car. A close friend of mine suggested that I buy at Koeppel - best decision!!!! The gentlemen at Koeppel were fantastic. Dan and Rob worked with us on the price of the car and I can't say enough about the deal I got. I was at the dealership at 3pm and in my new car by 7p. The guys were efficient, friendly, and fair. They even compassionate; they could see how sad I was about leaving my first car.Anyone thinking about buying a Mazda should definitely go to Koeppel. I'm sooo happy in my new car and the service.

These guys are the worst. Stay away from them unless you like being harassed, made fun of and talked down to. I bought a car from them and gave an honest phone review of my experience there and my salesman, Joe B. calls me up a day later with a nasty attitude demanding to know why I gave him a less than perfect review. He even hung up on me. He was (and still is) a complete d*ck. Try another dealer.

The salesperson, Ron Stewart was very helpful, friendly and went out of his way to answer questions and facilitate access to vehicles and overall assistance.The reason I would not go back or recommend this dealer is because the only person who assisted was Ron Stewart and other people I dealt with did not answer phone or email messages; people were not straight forward. I have been going to this dealer for years and have bought 3 vehicles from them, this is the first time I feel like not coming back.

This is not the first time I've purchased a car, and the salesman was not pushy. He wasn't the usual rude salesman just looking to get you to sign and out the door before you know what hit you. He was very patient with my husband and I, explaining everything. I was taken to the service dept. & introduced to the service manager and given an appointment to have the car checked in a few months. The quote for our purchase and the trade in was very competitive. I would say we lucked out; I've bought 4 cars now, and by far this was the best experience, most of the time I've gotten extremely pushy salesman or the dealership promised things and went back on their word. This dealership has great customer service, friendly employees, and competitive prices.

Scenario:Walked in to the dealership and made a good faith offer which was accepted. I put down a deposit (thankfully, on a credit card).Unfortunately due to some paperwork bungling there was an issue with financing approval. I canceled the deal and asked for a refund on the deposit. E-mail - no response. Phone - very hard to get this guy on the phone. Finally, the guy calls and tells me everything has been processed, and a refund is on its way. I fly out to London for the week on work hoping to see the refund by the time I get back. Nothing. Call back again and inform them I'll be disputing the transaction and told bluntly to go ahead. The attitude is cavalier to say the least.Thankfully I work for the bank that is going to dispute the charge so I know how to navigate this process; but heaven help a newbie.UPDATE -------Frank Greco stepped in and rectified the issue promptly.

My husband and I bought a new 2010 CX-9 from there. When they deliver the car, the options were not installed and let us wait for 4 hours to sign paper. They asked us to come back for installation which we did. But on the day we went over for installation, they installed the rear view camera is not what we agree upon. And when the installed the roof rack, they scratched the car,too. The camera we agree upon should be the wireless one, but they installed the wired one. We had a big argument at the dealer shop and they finally wanted to refund the difference. That wired camera only worked less than 3 hours and not function at all. We call the store manager, Michael D'Andrea right away. He said he will let his Assistant Manager, Francisco E., contacts us. Francisco E. never called us. We keep calling back for a whole day. We try to complain to the owner,Howard Koeppel, but never can get to him. The people who picked up our calls always put us on hold or hanged up. -----------------------Another manager contacted us recently, we will discuss the issues above.hopefully he will do something to fix the problems.

My husband and I initially wanted a certified used Mazda CX7. We went to Koeppel Mazda and they showed us the 3 certified used ones they had, but we decided we didn't like them for our own personal reasons (color, some upgraded options we didn't need). So the salesperson Francisco went over the numbers for one of the certified used vs. a brand new one and we realized it just made more sense to buy new. However, we didn't buy that day, we told him we'd think about it. We wanted to make sure we got the best price if we were going to buy new, so I requested some internet pricing from various Mazda dealerships in NY and surrounding areas. Some dealers sent us really low quotes, but when I inquired about more info, I found out they were for a BASE model, not the one I had requested pricing for. (I highly suggest you request internet prices for any new car you are looking into and mention it when you go to the dealership, BUT confirm with them before you go that the quote is for the right model and not the stripped down version. Also, make sure you find the invoice price for the car you want with the features you want so you know what price you want to negotiate with, not the MSRP). Koeppel Mazda quoted us below invoice pricing for the exact model CX7 we wanted. I emailed the internet pricing person (Garrett) back to confirm that the price he quoted was for the right model with everything we wanted, and he confirmed. Garrett kept in touch with me a few times and was very friendly, definitely not putting any (unwanted) pressure, etc. Of all the people we dealt with in our journey to buy new, he was the nicest. We went back on a Sunday to purchase but Francisco wasn't in so another sales rep took us out for the test drive we wanted and then the assistant manager Rob helped us. We went over everything and he confirmed that he had in stock the exact model we wanted with the added features (convenience package). When we were there the first time (2 weeks before) they didn't have the exact one we wanted in stock but said they could get it for us in less than a week, so I was happy to hear that they had it in stock for us). I showed him the email I got with the internet pricing and he honored it, no issues, although he said we would not be eligible for the special promotional APR they were offering. This upset me since I had done all the math at home based on the internet price and the promotional APR. He told us we had a choice - take the lower price and whatever APR the bank approves us for, or add $1,000 to the price and take the special promotional APR. Long story short, he agreed to the lower price with a fixed APR that was 2% more than the special APR. In doing the math, this still came out slightly cheaper than taking the higher price with the lower APR, so we went that route and in the end it wasn't too much more. This is the only thing about the whole experience that I question - just want to make sure we made the right decision on that. Rob stayed late (about an hour after closing) with us to go through the pricing etc. Since they couldn't run all the financing that day (late Sunday), we left a deposit on a credit card, and returned the next day to finalize everything. Took a while to get the final word on what time to be there, finally told to be there by 5pm. Arrived, sat with Neal, manager, to sign final paperwork and go over everything. Not once did he try to sell us anything extra, no hidden fees (and I looked through every piece of paper!). All the numbers corresponded to all the fees and charges Rob had gone over with us the day before. They even discouraged us from purchasing an accessory that wasn't worth it. Then we went to get our keys and Francisco took the time to answer ALL of my questions about every last button in the car and also paired my blackberry to the bluetooth for me.We did want some accessories that they didn't have so they are ordering for us and we'll return later this week to intall them. So no word on the service department yet. I asked some knowledgable friends about what to look out for with car dealers, but the guys at Koeppel didn't try any of those things I was warned about. It was overall a very smooth, easy, and enjoyable transaction. My only concerns were about waiting to hear back from them about coming in to pick up the car and sign the final paperwork. We would have preferred to hear back quicker and go in earlier to do everything, but at least it didn't take too long once we got there.Overall I would definitely recommend them.

I have made deposit with Koeppel for mazda 3 and be promised to have 0% APR or 100% refund. Then I've been told not qualified for 0% thing and they agreed to give me refund, but I have to wait 5-7 business days to see it post on my credit card account. Waited 2 weeks, nothing. Called credit card company and made a 3-way call to give them an alert. The reception asked me to wait another 5-7 business days, and manager would call me back once he finished "meeting". Well, no one called back and no refund shown up. I have to call credit card company to dispute the charge and go through those hassle process. Very pissed.

During my car search I dealt with many car dealers and found many to be friendly, some attentive and almost none honest. After I told Robert Moskowitz, a manager of Koppel Mazda, what I needed and thought I wanted, he surprised me by putting me in a completely different car. He was completely right. The new car he had me consider was a 2010 CX-7, much improved over the 2007-2009 because of a new engine, instead of a used Tribute (like a ford explorer). It is never easy to figure out if you were being offered the right financial deal because so many shady dealers are floating bullshit prices on the internet. My impression is that the price I got may not have been the lowest, but with the package I wanted it seemed very close to me. A friend who is a dealer, and ultimately sold me a little used and clean CRV, told me Robert did right by me.Having seen some bad reviews of this dealer, I felt it important to share. I had the worst new car buying experience ever. I bought a car from this dealership in 2008 and I had no problem but because of some management changes this dealership is "The worst" in the tri state area. When I discovered that they had over charged me about $4800 for 2010 Mazda3, I tried to contact but numerous emails, one letter via the regular mail and many phone calls to the dealership went unanswered. No one ever called back. I tried to make an appointment, they refused. I went there but no one was available to see me or talk to me. About a month later when I finally got through and spoke with the manager; he was extremely rude and obnoxious. I get better and more courteous response at my local grocery store where I only spend $40 not $26,000. This dealership has no morals or work ethics. Ive already filed a complaint with Mazda USA and weighing my options to take them to court. Please stay away from Koeppel, nothing but a rip off. No wonder they are not certified.

Buyer beware!! Quite simply the worst new car buying experience I have ever had!! I wouldnt recommend going here unless you want to waste your time and come away feeling like youve been cheated and / or robbed.Having communicated with the dealership over e-mail regarding leasing a Mazda CX-9 AWD Grand Touring, I went into the showroom with details of the offer they had provided to complete the deal. The manager was not working on the Sunday and hence the assistant manager (who also happens to be the head of internet sales) was called over to complete the sale. It was apparent that the dealership had no inventory in stock but was pre-selling vehicles they expected to receive in about 3 weeks time, which although not ideal was something we were willing to wait for. The assistant manager started with a price that was 18% above the price they had provided through the internet quote. When I asked why it was so much above the original quote, he responded with Oh, I didnt realize that you had an internet offer, Im not sure who gave you that. Let me go and look up the details. Sure enough (after we waited for 20 mins) he soon realized that he himself had authorized the offer and that his name was even on a couple of the e-mails I had received. However, rather than honoring the price he had authorized, the assistant manager said that offer had only been valid for the previous month and that they would have to increase the price to adjust for changes in the residual value. Again, this was not ideal, but his logic seemed rational and we were willing to agree to a price that was a little higher than the original quote. Then commenced the next delay tactic several war stories were accompanied by him leaving multiple times to check the expected delivery details for almost an hour. Im not quite sure why he couldnt access the required information from the computer at the sales desk, but I guess it was part of the standard process to wear customers down!!!Having found a vehicle that met our requirements and having reached what we thought was a mutually acceptable price, he then said he had to call his manager who was on his day off to confirm he had the go ahead to complete the deal!! It was a warm day and the showroom, which is built like a greenhouse, was baking hot. He made us wait for well over an hour to get confirmation from his manager who apparently wasnt picking up his cell phone. Well at the end of all that waiting, he finally heard back from his manager the manager wouldnt take the deal and wanted another $1,000 for the car because he felt that the vehicle (which hasnt even arrived yet) would be in high demand and in limited supply, hence there was no reason to stick with any previous offers they had made!!! It was at this point that Id had enough and decided to leave the dealership. I think that having tried to wear us down, they felt we would acquiesce to the higher cost, but I was absolutely disgusted by the sheer lack of morals and ethics these guys had displayed. Having quoted us a bogus internet price to get us in the door, the assistant manager and manager kept increasing the price higher based on random BS in order to increase their commission on the vehicle. It seems there is absolutely no honor in this profession!!!I am also completely confused why anyone would leave an assistant manager in charge of a dealership if the individual does not have the authorization / qualifications to make decisions. In hindsight I should have insisting on only speaking with the real decision maker everyone else was a waste of time.We ended up spending over 3 hours at the dealership not a nice way to lose a Sunday. We walked away with the horrible feeling of having been cheated. The only saving grace was that we hadnt parted with any cash!!

I spent lots of extra money taking my car to the dealership for two new tires since it also needed specially ordered factory parts (new valves; not covered under the warranty which is still effective). I expected a certain level of professionalism and quality from Mazda and was very disappointed when I had to return to the garage several times after picking my car up. First there were issues with the dashboard warning lights still being lit which was no big deal. But when one of the new tires went flat on the highway on my way to work the next morning I was very upset. I took time from work to bring the car back to determine the problem which I gather was that the mechanic didn't tighten the valve. Lisa Johnson handled my service and was very nice and apologetic but really had nothing to do with the actual repair of my car and didn't explain satisfactorily what went wrong and if it could happen again. Overall I have to warn people against bringing their business to this dealership. I assumed I would be compensated in some way since I had was inconveinced so much and put into a dangerous situation due to their sloppy, presumably rushed work. I would have been happy to have as little as $100 deducted from my near $800 bill (perhaps to refund the cost of the one hour of labor that was put into the car), and was annoyed and disappointed when I was offered a free oil change or 15% of a $500 30,000 mile service. I asked Ms. Johnson to have her supervisor contact me, but only received a follow up call from Lisa telling me her boss' best offer was 20% off the next service. Of course I would not trust these people with my vehicle and my safety again so this offer is useless to me. I understand mistakes happen but this was unacceptable and needed to be addressed.

The only thing they tried is to rip off. employees have no manners or respect to customers. I am not writing more because then i will have to curse them out. sooo controlling the anger. and i am going to complain to FTC and any othe consumer agency.

My experience at Koeppel Mazda was mediocre at best. I came in for a 30,000 mile service. First, I couldn't even figure out where I was supposed to bring my car (the only apperent place was on the sidewalk outside the service department). Once there, they were slow to responde to my presence. The service attendant spoke softly and was difficult to understand. The work took much longer than I expected. After the work was done, there was no explaination of the services provided (except the paperwork which has everything abreviated in obscure jargon). I later realized, after examining the paperwork in more detail, that they placed the wrong kind of oil in my car. When I called and complained about it, they said they would be happy to replace the oil, but I'd have to pay for the oil change at the normal rate. I found the whole experience to be unsatisfactory.

Saw a car I liked on a Sunday, I called the second day, discussed with the "sales manager", settled on a certain price + DMV fees + sales tax, clearly specified, no other BS fees involved. When I went to pick-up the car, they threw in a delivery fee of $495 and a prep fee of $345. So, "only" $840 over the negotiated price. Even after avoiding some of their gimmicks, I was willing to pay the $495 and just get the hell out with the car, but no, they wanted the $345 also. So I walked out.Oh, and I forgot to mention, Sunday when I first saw the car, the super-nasty sales representative Cynthia barely wanted to give me the key and she immediately wanted the key back when I said I wanted to negotiate the sticker price. This was a used car.
