Kristal auto mallI had an amazing experience when dealing with Courtney and Sandra prior to the sale of the vehicle. They worked with me to provide the best deal and were very responsive. Unfortunately, all of that was tainted by after sale service.in order to close the deal Sandra had promised me a power lift gate option on the vehicle. After some consideration of cost from other dealers I had finally settled with closing the deal at krisal auto mall. Everything was fine until I got home and noticed that the lift gate option was not on the vehicle. I called the dealer immediately and they apologized for the mistake and said that Sandra would call me back after two days with a solution. I never received that call and my attempt to reach her myself was fruitless. She is never available and my messages are never returned.Additionally, during signing another "error" occurred where the fee was miscalculated and I needed to pay additional $100 above the agreed amount due at lease signing. I did not make a big deal about it at the time when looking at a big picture of the amount already being spent on the car. But the lift gate promise is a second mistake that I just cannot excuse.

The worse Dealership i ever been to. The staff of the shop extra rude . I called few days before and say that my 2002 Gm car has engine issue can i bring it in and they said yes. When i go there they were yelling at me and told me to get my car out of their lot and they wont work on it since its too old and they dont have mechanic to work on it. They only take cars 2006 and up and maybe they can see my car in April. THE WORST DEALER EVER STAY AWAY!!!!

service was performed well and timely with the exception ofinflating the tires to their recommended pressure after I explicitly asked for this service and in light of the fact that atire rotation was done it should have been easy to checkand inflate to the proper psi which is 35. This is the 2nd timeI aksed for this service and it did not happen. My last servicevisit I asked for this service and it was not performed as well!!

I first took my 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier to be repaired on 1/15/2015 With an engine check light problem giving a computer code of 440 evaporative emission system problem. They replaced the gas cap and reprogramed the computer. I also paid extra for them to clean carbon deposits that they said could give me a problem. I told them to do it because I did not want any problems. I paid a total of $694.79 for the job. When they were finished that day they told me that I have 12 months or 12,000 mile warranty on code 440. If any other code comes up I am not covered. Two weeks later the check light came back on with the same code. I could not bring in back right away because I have to go to work. I was able to bring it back on 8/10/2015 at 8am. I left it with them all day. At the end of the day I went to pick it up and they said they did not get to it yet so I would have to leave it another day. On 8/11/2015 I call at 12pm and they said that it was the purge valve and it was going to cost me $313 dollars to fix. When I came to pick up my car I told them I already paid for the job so they just charged me for the part which came to $63.39 with tax. On 8/17/2015 at 6am the check light came back on again with the same problem so I call them at 9am and the said to bring it back in tomorrow. I brought the car back on 8/18/2015 at 8am to be fix again. At the end of the day after work on 8/18/2015 at 5pm I came to pick up the car and they said they could not get to it and that I would have to come back again. I took my car back and said good by. The reason I took my car to a dealer to get fixed was because I thought they knew what they were doing. Paid a total of $758.18 plus $40 car service to fix a check light and it's still is not fixed! Now I have to go someplace else to get my car fixed because they can't do it.

I came in to have a recalled part fixed in my Chevy. I was scheduled to meet with a rep who would set it all up. However, she never approached me and that already gave me the idea that I might not have a good experience. After about 5 min, the gentleman (Trevor) that initially checked me in, approached me and saw I wasn't being helped by his colleague he took matters into his own hands and I was ready to go within 5 minutes. He updated me on how long the process would take and once all was done he contacted me to pick up the car and even introduced me to the technician per my request. Trevor offered great customer service and because of that I will highly recommend the dealership.

A Very Nasty place to buy your. Very rude sales and workers there. No place to park your car. Kristal Auto Mall located at 5200 Kings Highway. Brooklyn, NY. is in a very high crime rate area. The service manager will require a tip to fiix your car. The garage where they fix your car is very dark and scary. There is no waiting room there to wait for your car to be fixed. The front tend manager is extremely rude and nasty, he asks you to see your cash before he will talk to you. Please stay away from this place at all costs. They are are much higher in price than most dealers in the Tri-state area. Avoid this dealership at all costs..

BEWARE!!!! CAR THIEVES. After receiving numerous calls from Kristal to bring in our leased Caddy SRX early, have them absorb the last 4 payments, not charge us for slight damage ( I have the pics), and we would walk out with a end of year 2014 with no money down. We looked at the inventory, didn't like what they had and I FOUND the car I wanted in Valley Stream. We negotiated the price, left a deposit and awaited the arrival of my car. When it arrived, the lease agreement was wrong, and had to be rewritten. We left my 2012 SRX with 18,000 miles in their possession, we DID NOT SIGN anything handing over the vehicle. We received 2 bills in less than a month. The first one for the new car and the second for the old one. We thought that there was a cross in paper work. Imagine our surprise when we were told that were liable for the payments for the car that we no longer had in our possession ! AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY CAR BACK. I will gladly pay the payments if it was given back to me but as of now, I don't have a car that I'm paying for, no one seems to know where it is, and there has been no effort to locate it to give me it back. As far as I'm concerned, it was stolen from me. There is no one that would give back a car and still make payments for something that they no longer have. Obviously, you would wait for the lease to be up in such conditions. Kristal lied then and lied to GM. This was false advertising taken to a new level. I was talked to by Ron Patel -- the alleged manager in the most abusive of ways. He speaks like a thug. Dishonest, despicable, filthy dirty show room, home of classless sleazy car salesmen.

My bad experience with the service department was with my vehicle having a check engine light on and I called for an appointment and they couldn't get to me for 3 weeks. I wrote Customer Service about this and they said they would get back 2 me via email or phone and they never did. I had to take my car to NJ to get repaired and I have been dealing with Kristal for years. They just lost a customer.

I'm happy with the customer service I received from the guys in the service department however I'm not confident that my vehicle was properly serviced. In July (the 26th I believe) I took my leased vehicle in for a routine oil change, the week of August 18th the oil light indicator came on. Took it back for diagnostic and service and was told the oil filter needed to be tighten and the oil was replenished to the proper levels. Then on August 31st the engine light comes on. OnStar vehicle diagnostic showed there was an issue with the Vehicle's emissions system and it required immediate attention. The service department was booked for 2 weeks. Marilyn did her best to squeeze me. Diagnostic showed that that air had entered the emission system and the air filter needed to be replaced. I'm not a mechanic but I don't think any vehicle should have issues such as these after a simple oil change. The vehicle doesn't drive the same as it did before. I'm just not confident in the service or the vehicle anymore.

Joseph was so helpful in suggesting I try the GMC Terrain when I wasn't happy with any of the Buicks. Our experience at Kristal Auto Mall was the very best I have encountered when leasing a car! And I have lease three cars within the past six years from other dealerships. Starting with Joseph Ellis, the sales consultant he showed us the vehicle we wanted and took us on a test drive. We told him at the payment we wanted to be for that particular car, he left and came back with Dan Maisonet (Sales manager) who was very honest precise and straight forward with the numbers. In less than 20 minutes we had a "deal". We pick up the car two days later and Eric Best who was awesome, took the time to showed us the truck features! Eric Best, Joseph Ellis and Dan Maisonet were very friendly very respectful, professional and never "pushy" They did a great job for us!! the only downside of the visit is that all my requests were not taken care of and the car was returned very dirty with roam residue in the engine bay and grease on the seats, this was exceptionally obvious because the car was submitted brand new and clean. however when i noted the problems the staff went out of their way to address all my concerns except for the scratches that were applied to my dash. however they did promise that they would fix that on my next visit. also the rental car place made me take a car service back to the dealership on my dime but the sales reps did offer that if i had called someone could have come to pick me up. net net, they try real hard, especially when things are not working out so well.

When I dropped my car off to be serviced, I was reassured my vehicle would be ready for pick up at noon. At 11:45 am the shop called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. I was shocked and a bit worried at first about the quality of the work. Fortunately when I got to the shop I was told the problems with the right day time running light and the airbag have been fixed. I am glad i dont have to deal with the back and forth anymore (hopefully). It was an extreme inconvenience. I also received an apology for the trauma i was put through during my last visit to the shop. I sincerely hope moving forward service will improve.

I was thoroughly pleased with my experience at Kristal Auto Mall. I had been to Audi, Lexus and Honda dealerships in the past week and I was not satisfied; Honda did come the close. On Tuesday, June 10th, I entered Kristal to get some information. Jorge Ramirez helped answer my questions, gave me some wonderful insight into the different types of vehicles. We narrowed it down to two and then I was given a test drive of the two vehicles. He was quite impressive. I told him I would give it some thought and would definitely let him know Thursday. After discussing my experience with my family, we made plans to go to Kristal after I got off work on Thursday. I received a letter in the mail Wednesday from Audi stating that the warranty for my leased vehicle either expired or was about to expire. In a panic, I called Kristal to see if I could come in right now. I was informed that it was Jorge's day off and if I allowed someone else to draw up the paperwork, Jorge would not get credit for the sale. I explained my dilemma to the receptionist, who in turn, called Jorge at home. He said he would meet me at the dealership. My family came; he explained everything to them that he had explained to me the day before and then gave us a test drive. What a guy!! His manager, Rob Patel, was very helpful regarding the financial aspect. He worked within my budget. The model I wanted happened to be the floor model. Upon inspection, I noticed a deep scratch over the passenger side rear tire, some other markings on the vehicle and dirty looking discolorations across the back seat. When the date was being set for me to bring the car in for a detailing, I informed Rob that I was going to North Carolina the following week. He suggested that I bring it back upon my return because with all the bug splatter, I would end up with brand new looking car AFTER the trip. Well bug splatter wasn't the word. The front on my car looked as though I went into an insect war zone. I even took it to a hand wash car wash. Except for the shine, you could not tell it had been cleaned. An appointment had been set up for me to bring in the car. James, from the prep department, did a fantastic job. It was so clean and shiny (inside and out), I needed to put on my sun glasses and the car was in the shade!! Another reason I wanted to bring up James is in regards to his integrity (and his thoroughness). Returning home from my trip I filled my car with gas on the Jersey Turnpike. I gave the attendant my debit card. The next day I looked for my debit card and only found the receipt. I looked all through the car (so I thought), my bags and everything. Nothing! Long story short, the next day after the detailing, I get into the car, the card was in a place for me to see it. Anyone could have been taken the card, I would not have known. I cancelled the card, of course, but no one knew that. That team at Kristal Auto Mall is fantastic. I'm looking forward to my lease being up so I can do business with them again!! Now that said a lot!

Having owned many new luxury cars before, I've never encountered such disregard and apathy from the employees and management. Brought 2011 Escalade for service. Parking sensors and Bluetooth are out. Had do come back twice leaving the vehicle there for days. A day later everything still doesn't work. Tried to address this with the dealer who responded: nothing we can do. The general attitude is: get you in and out while doing nothing.

The salesman told me I can either get a low APR at 1.9% or he would take off the 1,800 dollars off my new GMC. He did neither. STRAIGHT up lied right to my face, and the 1,800 wasn't coming out of his pocket because in MAY gmc was cutting the price on all there cars for 1,800 Dollars. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment and my car was taken in immediately, given a ticket number and I was instructed to wait in the showroom or leave my number and I would be called should I step out. I left my number and left. Within 45 minutes my car was done and I was called to come and pick it up. The entire process was quick and I was on my way. I really am glad I decided to purchase my vehicle at Kristal Auto Mall. The gentleman who work, there are courteous, professional & knowledgeable about the vehicles and always willing to help. We just got our 9th car/truck with Kristal. In fact, we have never owned/leased a car with any other dealership and we always bring our cars into Kristal for service. After a bad experience with a 2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid that we purchased new - it broke down in Toms River, New Jersey on the way home from Atlantic City and was towed to the nearest Chevy dealership. Needless to say, GM couldn't figure out what the problem was and it took 40 days to repair. This compounded with other issues emanating from OnStar and Chevy Roadside caused us to not want the truck anymore and we weren't even sure we wanted another Chevy or GM vehicle for that matter.During our ordeal we reached out to Bill Hairston or as we refer to him as "our sales guy" as well as Anthony (from the service department) for assistance and both gentlemen were kind enough to provide us with some direction; Bill even followed up a few days later. Once the truck was repaired, I immediately contacted Bill to let him know that my husband was on his way to trade it in. We received a fair trade in for the truck and both Bill and Jimmy (the manager) eased our concerns about committing to another Chevy vehicle. Jimmy was able to put together a deal that we were comfortable with and 3 hours later, we drove out a with our brand new leased Tahoe with more upgrades than the Hybrid had. I also want to add that Smitty "the finance guy" has an awesome sense of humor!We have been doing business with Kristal for 16 years and all of our experiences with everyone has always been positive from both the service and sales departments.

This dealership is the worse.they have poor customer service no consideration for the customers and a service dept that don't know wat the xxxx they doing. I bought 3 cars from them all have broken down within a year. They keep exchanging it n not even a year it breaks down. I had my traverse for 10 months car broke down had it tow to the dealership explain to Kenny the situation he said all I see wat the problem is. Calls me back n tells me it's the fuel pump bad gas once again the same thing like the other 2 cars. He said I fix it took 2 days finally go pick it up i was overcharge . it cost me 940 only to take the car out the shop n drive it home n it breaks down again. Call him back and he says can't do not nothing it's Christmas Eve the car won't b check till Thursday. Once again leaving me again without a car for the holidays . Ask him for a rental tells me he cudnt help me. They should not be in business they should be close down. I reported this to consumer affairs n next it's suing them for the money they charge me and not fixing the problem on my car. Last thing hired professional mechanics that really know what they are doing and stop robbing your customers.

Purchased my Buick almost a year now ,d sales person Carlos def is in d 5 star range ,however I took d service package which generated a value that matched what we owed after our trade in ,to me I honestly thought I got d best package for what I was signing up for..unfortunately my very first trip for service their changed all of the cherry coating that I had experienced ,Kenny is in a class by himself & d remaining co-workers is not very far behind him ,here is some of d things that I encountered ,no customer service experience,irresponsible for you're vehicle in their possession during repair time( picked up my vehicle with dents on it / saying it's not their fault !!!!!!),true con artist style for repairs that initially is covered under you're package ,time frame for repairs is like u have nothing to do ,poor & unsanitary waiting room ,This dealership on a scale of 1-10 doesn't even deserves a 1 it is def a MINUS , who really supervises these workers ,are they really being paid for what their job is ? Honestly the employer needs new workers ,he is lacking business due to d loss of what consumers experience at his dealership, consumer affairs should look into this place because it's unfair to anyone to be paying for a service that cannot & is not given....I'm writing this review only because it's not fair to be paying a monthly fee & not getting the required service that I'm paying for....visit them now and it's over 15 people on a waiting side d road line up for repairs with a 8:00 am appointment with just over 3 or 4 mechanics,with a comment from d tag employee to come back tomorrow at 8:00 am ,1 time 2 time come on ....please look for a dealership that deserves & appreciate you're business .

I had my car towed to this dealership after the car would not start. The dealership charged me a little over $1700 for various repairs. ( A new BCM, tune up, and oxygen sensor). The car repairs took one day to complete. I took the car out of the shop after said repairs had been completed. I drove the car to work, parked the car in a garage, only to return and the car would not start again. I called the dealership and was assured that the problem would be fixed. I had the car towed back to the dealership. I was called the next day and told that I would have to pay an additional $400 for a fuel pump even though I had already paid for the car to be repaired and it had not been repaired. The service manager told me that they had not checked the fuel pump initially and that I would be responsible for the fuel pump, but they would not charge me for the labor. I was very upset and told the service manager (David R.) and his manager that I did not think that this was fair since I had the car towed because it wouldn't start and then I took it and the next day I had to have the car towed again. Neither the service manager nor his supervisor showed any understanding for my situation and just kept simply saying it would be $400. I then contacted GM customer service and spoke with a Brenda who informed me that unfortunately after contacting the dealership several times that the dearship was unwilling to fix my car without me paying an additional $400 and they accepted no responsibility for not checking the fuel pump when I initially had the car towed to their shop. I called the dealership since I felt that I had exhausted all my options and told them that I would pay the $400 to just please fix the car. I've called every day for the past three days only to be told that the car would be fixed. There is no estimated date of completion, just simply "we'll call you" by David R. I asked David R. why was it taking so long to put in one thing when it only took one day to fix my car when I paid them initially $1716. David R. repeated "I'll call you when your car is ready." I would NEVER do business with this dealership again. I have only bought Chvey's in the past. This is my third, and this experience has put such a damper on the way I view GM.

I chose to go to Krystal Automall for recalls on my Pontiac vibe. I decided while I was there to have them repair the moonroof which leaked through rain water. Also my right light was not working. I sat in the waiting room from 9:30 until 4:00. The room is a hole in the wall and no one should be exposed to such a place. No charge for the recall, but paid $500 for the above mentioned repairs and was given a renew on inspection, which to me indicated the car was in good condition. A week later the left light went out. By the time I drove to the dealer I had no lights right or left. I was told that the piece that holds the left light was burnt out. Paid another $68 plus tax. Before driving out I checked the left light that I just paid for and it was not on. The worker took it to the back for 5 minutes bought it back and said something about the light was not screwed in properly. Three days later the light was out again. Called and went in. Was told the bracket was lose it just needed a tap and the light would come on. Another week later light out again, Went in again, this time waited 4 hrs 5min. to be told the light was defective and the Manager Anthony said he was waiting on the light to come and I would have to pay for the light. At this point frustration set in and a few words were exchanged due to Anthony's disrespectful mannerism and my frustration. At that point I told Anthony to give me my car so that I could take it to a competent mechanic. I was fearful that they would do something else to my car and cause me to come in the next week with more charges. Finally they fixed the light. I will never return and warn others not to go to this dealer. I was made to feel as though I owed them something and was a bother to their establishment. True car repair scamming.

In addition to not returning calls, acting like I was getting on their nerves when I asked questions such as, "Why have you increased the price by 2k since yesterday when I filled out the financing application," and FedEx'ing the contract to the wrong address with no attempt to research it or send another, this experience was horrid. I am purchasing from out of state and I have been treated very poorly from the first conversation. I bought insurance for the car....and waited and waited and waited. Nothing. Very unprofessional group. Not classy at all. Please don't purchase your next car through them.

I brought my Chevy Envoy to the service department at Kristal. First of all the place was filthy. Horrible waiting room and Anthony the service manager is very arrogant and a jerk to all of his employees. What started out as a simple service ended up turning into a 2000 dollar repair of a laundry list of other stuff he claimed went wrong with my car. I'm not happy with the way they communicated with me and I feel like I was forced into repairs I wasn't financially prepared for. I do not recommend this service department and they should look into a replacement service manager.

My 2009 Cadillac CTS passenger seat started to smoke. Towed it to Kristal who kept the car for 2 weeks and wouldn't provide a loaner. After 2 weeks I was told that they couldnt find anything wrong with the car. On the way home from Kristal the car broke down and when I called Kenny he wasnted me to bring it in 4 days later.I was also told that the car was never test driven.I towed the car to Norh Bay Caddilac who on the first day found numerous problems due to an overheated seat cooler which caused the smoke.The repair authorization listed 3 pages of repairs, while Kristal said they found nothing wrong with the car.

I have been doing business with Kristal for over 15 years. Both my wife and I have acquired new cars every 3 years from Kristal. We have also serviced the cars there. From the sales people to the service people, we have never had a bad experience. As a matter of fact, we were always treated will respect and dignity. They were always professional but friendly. We have never had a problem they could not resolve. It's always a pleasure when we go to Kristal, whether it's to negoniate a new car or to have maintence performed. We will continue to patronize Kristal and to recommend them to friends.

I drove 2.5 hours to look at a Mitsubishi Endeavor that I was very interested in. The SUV had great reviews, and was in pretty good shape and reasonably priced. When I arrived the salesman (Rinaldo or Alfonzo, or something like that) took me out back to look at it. There were a few obvious things wrong including the sunroof cover being off track and interfering with the sunroof opening and closing, and an object stuck in the rear heater blower that made a loud sound. The salesman told me to come back in a day or two and they would have it fixed. I called him the next day, and to his credit he appeared to have called into the shop on his day off to check on the progress. I also asked about inspection, which he talked his way around but never answered. I told him that the carfax showed a failed emissions inspection, and that I would like the car inspected to buy it. He told me you would try to get that done. He told me to come in the next day, so I drove another 2 hours (that's about 7 hours not in 2 days) to look at it. So, I came excited and ready to buy it, when to my surprise it was apparent that nothing had been done. Nothing at all was fixed, and the car was not inspected. I looked closer at the sunroof cover and discovered that it was simply off track. This could have probably been fixed in 2 minutes, but they obviously didn't care. The car also had a broken 12 volt cover.The salesman told me repeatedly on both days that "it's a used car," which meant that they weren't willing to do anything to fix it. We took the car for a drive. It drove well, but was out of gas. We stopped for gas and I noticed that the gas cap was broke. He did not offer to get a new one, but said that I could just buy a new one at the dealer or somewhere. During the test drive he had me stop so that he could get pizza. While he did offer to get me some, and while I would be okay with that under some circumstances, it seemed unprofessional given his general lack of interest. When we got back I was still ready to buy it because overall it was a good SUV, and I did the research to know that it is reliable. However, they were not willing to inspect the car, run an emissions inspection, or give me any kind of proof that it would pass inspection. He told me that it failed the emissions inspection because they had put a new battery in it, and it had to reset. So, I was faced with either risking that it would get inspected in PA, or not buying the car. I decided to still buy it. However, the last straw was when we negotiated the price. I asked how much they could take off because it was not inspected, and had the several problems I talked about. The salesman talked to his manager, and then came back to say that normally they charge $995 for a dealer import fee, and $600 for a preparation fee (not sure what they did exactly), and that they would take off the $995 fee. So, in short, not only were they not willing to take off money, but they were charging me $600 more than the list price of the vehicle. This is a shady dealership. Not only was the salesman unprofessional, he just didn't care. He never asked me once anything about my life, interests, or needs. What do you expect in Brooklyn, NY. Maybe it was just a bad salesman (they should probably fire this guy), but my experience was poor. If you are willing to pay full price plus fees for a brand new car, and this dealership is much cheaper then you might be okay. After all, what can go wrong with a new car. Otherwise I would steer clear. I ended up buying a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander from DCH Kay Honda in NJ. They were very professional, helpful, and were 100% honest. I spent several hundred hours looking at cars, and my conclusion is that you should buy from a trusted and certified dealer unless you are positive that a smaller dealer is a good one. That's a shame to say, but the truth. Best wishes.

Buying a used car anywhere can be risky. How about buying a used car on-line, sight unseen, and from out of state? I was looking for a loaded certified 2008 GMC Acadia SLT-2, Kristal had the perfect car. Dealt with Charlie Sr exclusively, one of the managers, he was AWESOME. Returned my calls right away, faxed all the paperwork I wanted on the car right away, answered all my questions accurately and described the condition of the vehicle perfectly when he walked around it with me on his cell phone. We faxed bill of sales back and forth for sigs, I FedEx'd him a check, he FedEx'd me the title the next day. Had a shipper (Badlands Trucking) pick up the car the day after that. When it arrived here it was just as Charlie Sr had described it, perfectly. The car was missing the headsets and remote control for the DVD system, Charlie Sr had new ones shipped within days. I love this car, couldn't be happier. When I need another car, I'll be calling Charlie Sr at Kristal first. Just a perfect buying experience!

I purchased a brand new vehicle from Explorer.... I was having alot of smoke come out of the pipes... They recommended i take it to a local dealer i took it to kristal and they fixed the problem. Just after a week... I get a phone asking if i want body work done to the car... I told the lady what body work this is a brand new car i just bought it... She says i got to call you back... she then tell me sir im just asking cause there is damage to your car... My driver never once saw a scratch as well as another driver who accompanied him to drive back with him.. I call the dealer service manager after i was told he will call me back: he tells me first the scratch was under dirt then after I told him how could you tell from your office he tell me its noticable. My driver was never given a check in sheet no one ever went over the car with him... Yet they claim that my driver sign a check in sheet which they can't produce.... Shady business.... A dealership who wants to pass the buck for there mistake it sound like....

I'm here to buy!" That's too bad, because Bernard is a likable guy. I really wanted to close the deal with him.Instead of a SLE with dealer added leather, we ended up with a SLT1leather heated seats, dual moonroof,dvd, back-up sensor etcALL FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE QUOTED..... 24 fewer payments.Thanks Charles for pointing me in the right direction!
