We bought a truck while on vacation from North Georgia and would definitely make the drive and do it again. While traveling and pulling a camper my husband decided the gas mileage was too poor and wanted a diesel. While we were “just looking,” we stopped at numerous dealership, but they lacked inventory. When we arrived Gregory Lowe, told us he would sell us a truck and that he did. He worked extra hard to ensure we got the deal we were looking for. We recently purchased a new 2021 Ford Edge from the fine sales staff at Lamarque Ford and my wife and I cannot begin to express how satisfied with the experience we were. We got a decent deal on our new SUV, and the buying process was a stress free event. Even after the purchase was completed, the staff made sure to show my wife how to set up the electronics in her new car and filled the tank up to make sure she drove off the lot happy. Everyone from our salesperson to the owner were top notch and extremely professional and I highly recommend paying Lamarque a visit if you're in need of a new vehicle.

Beware…. Do not trust these people. We found the vehicle we wanted there and drove 4 hours one way to see it on the weekend. Had to wait until Monday to let bank take care of purchase. Phones calls with salesman on Monday and he made a mistake figuring the tax so bank had him redo it. He assured us everything was taking care of and he pushed us to the financing department. Did not hear from them Monday afternoon. Called on Tuesday to make sure all was good and making plans to come back and get it AND..... they sold it to someone else today !!!!??! Don’t trust them.

For example, helping me get a few things fixed on my Edge so I can turn it back in on another lease through Ford to guiding me to the right F-150 to fit my needs and budget moving forward. My review is specifically regarding the service department. We have taken our 2013 Mustang in for all its service at this location. We waited all our lives to have this "dream car", so we take very good care of it. Each time, we felt the employees and manager are less than friendly (except for the lady who checks us in every time, she's very personable). This time, we took the car in for a noise in the suspension that was getting worse. That is typical of this vehicle, according to online research. The first time, they kept our car half a day and put 11 miles on it, only to say nothing is wrong, they didn't hear the noise. That's more miles than my commute to work. I insisted on riding with the technician, to point out the noise. The service dept mgr and technician said unpleasant things about it, in front of me. I rode with the technician 30 feet and pointed out the noise. He started laughing. They kept the car another 4 hours and then called us to say they ordered parts. They wanted to keep the car overnight - no way! After waiting a week, someone called to say the parts were in. We took the car in, and had to ask what it was they found wrong with it and what parts would be replaced. It took a little effort to get an answer. They fixed the problem, drove our car another 13 miles, and put a few chips in the paint on the door that were not there before (I hand washed it the day before). It was not necessary to put a total of 24 miles on the car to assess the issue and fix the car.

We have been impressed with the Lamarque sales team. (Thanks Gabriel.) Unfortunately, our experience with the service department has been less than acceptable. We brought a truck in when the check engine light came on less than three weeks after we purchased it. First they refused to take it and made us set an appointment a few days later. We returned as instructed and delivered the truck to them at 6:30 am. When we called at the end of the day, they had not even looked at it! (Their remarks, not ours.) We purchased the vehicle because we needed it. We do not feel like that fact is part of Lamarque's service plan. If you need your vehicle serviced In a reasonable time, you may want to have it serviced elsewhere.

They made sure that I knew everything I needed to know about my new vehicle. After I purchased my vehicle I started to go to the Service Department to have not just warranty work done but maintenance too. The prices are great. The Service representatives are always helpful and respectful. The representative in service always understand my problem, even when I can't explain it well. They know the needs of my vehicle as well as the needs of my pocket book. I have owned other vehicles and gone to other places but this dealership has always given me a great experience. I love my Ford and my dealership.

I brought my car in for service, and it was easy peezy. I pulled into Lamarque's service lane and was greeted quickly. The service advisor listened and didn't make me feel rushed, even though I kind of had a list of things I wanted checked out. I was offered an air conditioned waiting area to wait in that had refreshments. It was clean and didn't look like other dirty service waiting areas I have been to. The service advisor updated me in a timely fashion. I had an altogether pleasant experience, and will return to have my car serviced at Lamarque in the future. Oh, yeah...and car fixed, no problems!!

It's not often that I care to right a review, but I just can't get it off my mind how satisfied I was the last time I brought my 2010 Escape in for servicing. So I felt that I should let others know.... I had a throttle body go out on me 2-years ago, brought it to Lamarque Ford and paid my deductible of $200.00. I recently got a Ford Recall letter about throttle bodies and Becky Brown in the Service Dept. got me my $200.00 back immediately. I also received another Ford Recall letter recently about problems with the steering column. I brought it in and was out of there in less than an hour. My wife has purchased her last four cars, all Fords, from Lamarque Ford. She currently has a Ford 500. We both bring our vehicles in regularly for THE WORKS and are always given the best customer service. The entire Service Dept. staff are extremely nice and considerate to our needs. My wife bought her first car, a brand new red '71 Ford Torino from Ronnie Lamarque back in the 70's at Bill Watson Ford where he was the Used Car Manager. We have been relying on Lamarque Ford for all our vehicle needs for years with absolutely no complaints.

I brought my car to be serviced last Monday and have spent much of my time trying to contact someone in the service department for updates. I have heard excuse after excuse of why it isn't yet fixed. Yet, both the service advisor and manager have had time to take days off, have an hour long lunch and leave early for a holiday the day before. Pathetic service department who cares less about customer service. I used to be an avid Ford customer until I purchased a Honda. Now I remember why I haven't owned a Ford in 10 years and will not ever own one again! Sorry Ford, get your act together.

I bought my car to be service on a Monday and didn't receive my car until seven days later. My AC blower went out on my 2009 Ford Mustang, hence my car was bought in on a Monday and wasn't service until Thursday. I had to rent a car for seven days because Larmarque Ford doesn't provide a courtesy car. I constantly had to keep calling to check on the status of my car. After, never receiving a phone call to pick up my car I decided to do a pop up at the dealership. Once i showed up asking for my car, the Customer Service Rep. replied:" We were just about to call you". I was charged $500.00 dollars for the horrible service. Lastly, after I finally received my car back the A/C only work for two days. I call the dealership back and was brushed off by a service tech to bring it back on a Monday. Consequently, I took my car to Don Bohn Ford and it was the A/C Resistor that went bad. I had to paid an additional $170.00.

Please do NOT buy from these people. I had a piece of the sidewall missing from my back right tire and didn't notice it until I got home from the dealership after making my purchase. I called the salesman and he told me to bring it in when I could and they would look at it. When I brought it in I talked to the Used Car Sales manager....because my salesman wasn't in.... and he said he would take a look at the tire to see if it was a safety hazard (Ok, part of the sidewall was gouged.. it could've caused a blowout at any moment.) After they loooked at the tire the manager told me he could sell me one at their cost with was $200 for one freaking tire.. and that's their cost???? BS. Keep in mind i've only had the car for a few days... As soon as I questioned the manager about the price of the tire he got angry with me and told me he'd pay half the cost then.. I refused and told him I just want a new tire and I dont feel like I should have to pay for that. He then said he'd "fix the damn tire and to get out of his f**king office". And thats basically the kind of customer service you'll receive at Lamarque Ford.... Please shop elsewhere because this place is a nightmare...

This is the first new car that I've purchased and Dennis Lamarque went above and beyond to make it a fantastic experience. I have been trying to purchase a car for over a month and would walk out of other dealerships frustrated and in tears because they were so pushy and made me feel slimy. The Lamarque experience was a 180 and was wonderful! The price that we were able to negotiate was incredibly fair and he got us an unbelievable rate for our financing which was greatly appreciated. The place is really family run, I met a half dozen Lamarque's, all who were lovely and helpful throughout the process. We will be looking for another new card in 5-6 years for our son and we will definitely be heading to Lamarque.

I have been dealing with lamarque for over 25 years. I have purchased several vehicles from them. I have always got a fair price and excellent service from them. When ever someone I know is looking to purchase a new Ford vehicle, I always recommend Lamarque to them. As far as I know, they all have been treated fairly and honestly with their pricing and service.

I went twice to see a pre-owned vehicle advertised on the website. On my first visit I was told a family member had checked it out to attend a funeral. That's right, it was being used for personal reasons while being advertised. The salesman apologized and said he would call when the vehicle was returned. Two days later I was called by another man named Kevin and told the vehicle had been returned. I arrived at the dealership only to be told that the vehicle was being serviced and I would need to wait ten minutes. The salesman, Kevin, was joined by Tommy Lamarque who explained that the vehicle was, in fact, at another location and it would take a few minutes to be returned. I was asked to wait. I asked how long it would take in real time? I explained I was on my way to work and could not wait long. I was reassured it would only take 20 minutes. I agreed to wait. After 20 minutes, Mr. Lamarque came back and said the vehicle was on its way back. I stayed another 15 minutes and then left for work. After another 30 minutes passed, I received a text message from Kevin saying he had returned and had the keys. I wrote back and said I thought his behavior was inconsiderate and unprofessional. (Remember, he had called me to come look at the vehicle and he had told me it would take 20minutes to retrieve it.) He then wrote an answer claiming he was not at fault for the delays and I was supposed to meet him at the other location. This made absolutely no sense and I did not wish to have any more interaction with Kevin. I called the dealership and asked for Mr. Lamarque. I was given his voice message and I left my name and call-back number. He never returned my call. I am now driving wonderful 2014 Honda CRV.

I went to Lamarque Ford to purchase a F-150 FX2. Although I did not buy the truck, I felt really good about their sales approach. If you want no hassle, bottom-line prices - then I suggest you come here. Mr. Lamarque was at the dealership in all 3 of my visits and made sure he introduced himself to every customer. He also reassured everyone that he wanted to make sure I get the best price available AND he even showed the paperwork to back it up. He showed me how much he would sell the truck, how much he paid for it, his profit, & even disclosed the holdover amount (no one ever shows the holdover). It was a great experience, my first when vehicle shopping. I hate going to dealerships but felt good here. I really wish that the FX2 was in my price range ($10k off). I realized I wanted a truck that I couldnt afford and decided to pursue a different truck. I never provide reviews of any company, but felt obligated to share this very unique experience. Mr. Lamarque, thank you very much. I wish that my wife would have agreed to buy the car in my price range - the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro (an absolute steal that I would have sacrificed to get instead of getting that I need)!!! My diesel Excursion fuel pump failed on a Saturday at a gas station while towing a 13,000 lb boat, and the Lamarque diesel tech came out after they were closed, diagnosed, took me to autozone, and replaced within 30 min. Got me and the fam on the water that day. Awesome service. They treat you like family.

I was looking for a very specifically optioned F150. I knew exactly what I wanted and did not even have to take the truck off the lot for the test drive (only checked 4H and 4L). After frustratingly trying to get an answer to verify I still had the current numbers for Ford's financing rates and them telling me I needed to run the report, someone finally could confirm the basic matrix which Ford offered at the time. When it came time to go over the terms of the finance, one of the other salesmen came over to inform me that a service technician ran the truck into the building! We obviously did not finish the paperwork. The sales manager assured me the truck would be repaired "like new". Being a company, they had the money to pay for it out of pocket and keep from having an at fault collision insurance claim against a brand new vehicle. Claiming it was "just like new", they refused to honor a diminished value for the truck. The manager only wanted to take $500 off. Not trustworthy. Beware

I researched the 2012 Mustang for an entire year before I was ready to purchase, then proceeded to email all the dealerships in the entire New Orleans Metro Area, even as far as Mississippi. Most offered inflated prices or emailed and called to get you to "...come in and see our inventory..." (even though I was VERY specific about what I wanted) or never bothered to contact me or follow up (their loss). Of the two dealerships I visited, one never called me again and the other was completely unprepared (they seemed to "forget" what I was looking for) and had an unreasonable attitude for whatever reason, like I was wasting their time. Lamarque Ford kept contact strictly via email, never pressured me to come by, and ultimately offered the most competitive price (and a better financing rate than my bank) so haggling was not even part of the process. I eventually showed up unannounced and made the purchase - they were true to their word and the entire purchase process was wonderful - I thought I would never say that about a dealership, but hands down they were just great. The only caveat to this adventure was I purchased a white Mustang (not the color I wanted, in fact, it was a color I didn't want, but the PRICE WAS RIGHT) as it was at another dealership at the time, but somehow that fell through and they offered either a Kona Blue or Black Mustang (same package) in its place. I opted for the Kona Blue and I have to say had I seen all the colors side by side, it would have been my first choice instead of the Grabber Blue, so everything worked out perfect. Perhaps it was my approach (via the Internet), but I was expecting the same pushy tactics you find elsewhere throughout the purchase, but it never materialized. The facilities are top notch and the staff was great - this is not your 'typical' dealership. It seems Lamarque Ford is the only dealership in the area that understands the way people want to do business is changing, and they are keeping up. I truly feel sorry for people purchasing new vehicles elsewhere (unless you take my Mother with you, aka the Hagglemeister). With a few tweaks to their business model (especially via the Internet), Lamarque could OWN all the Ford sales in the area.
