I just wanted to buy a vehicle, but was told by the sales lady that because I stay out of state, they couldn't sale me the fpace. I already been approved for a loan. This glacier white is my dream suv. I had even called reliable carrier to get a quote on delivery. Because I am 100% disable veteran, I was able to get a letter exempting me from ad valerem tax. Guess I will keep looking. Just don't understand dealership letting sales go by.

We went to this dealer based on a used Honda Pilot that was posted online. When we arrived the car had not been detailed or looked at yet since it was the weekend and the service shop was closed. Understandable. The car was in great shape and handled well on the test drive with no issues. There was a service due on the car for its 50K mile service which they said they would complete before we picked up the car, along with a full detail. After the test drive we spent 3 hours "negotiating" as well as getting our trade in appraised. This was a long, long process but we finally came to an agreement and we bought the car. After three days of not hearing a word on the car from the dealership, we called and they said the car would be ready in two days time. I told our salesman that I would like to pick up the car at either 7PM Friday night or 10AM Saturday morning whatever was better time wise. Friday it was. When I arrived at the dealership they were closed except for our salesman, who had 2 keys for the car and a screwdriver. The dealership closed at 6pm much to my chagrin, I would have liked to drive the car first and if there was any issue have the shop look at the car. My fault for not checking the hours, but I didn't feel the need since I asked what was a better time to pickup the vehicle. Once I got on the road I went to turn on the radio and the security code needed to be plugged in to allow the radio to work, a code which the dealer is able to get, not the consumer. So now on my drive home in silence I notice a significant clunk/ bang/ rattle when driving and handling the car. This sound was not there during the test drive, nor me or my wife noticed this loud banging over every bump. Again with the dealership closed there was nothing that could be done, I continued home and would call them in the morning.I live near a Prime Honda Dealer and I thought it would be easy to have them grab the radio code for me which is a free 5 minute service any dealer will provide. However while I was there I wanted to have them check the car out and give me a diagnostic report along with a diagnosis of the noise I was hearing. Indeed the sway bar links were damaged and needed to be replaced. If Herb Chambers had done the 50K mile service and then test drove the car shouldn't they have noticed this? After all I noticed it a half mile away from the dealer in less than 5 minutes of driving. Also if they drove the car wouldn't they have checked to be sure the radio was working for their customer? Sadly I believe they did not test drive the car after the service.I then called Frank our salesman to let him know what was going on and he apologized. He would check with his manager, which is the default answer for most car salesman I understand. He told me to bring the car back to them and they would fix it, however it is out of my way and I did not trust the same technicians that caused the issue to then repair it. I wanted the car looked at by Herb Chambers Honda at the very least. They agreed to this and told me that they could take me right away and get the car back to 100% that day, GREAT NEWS!! However that was not true, after waiting two hours at Herb Chambers Honda Allston they advised they didn't have the parts in stock and would take them 48 hours to get them. Begrudgingly I agreed and called Frank to keep him apprised of the situation. He was always very nice and cordial, however no one from Herb Chambers Land Rover was super helpful. 8 AM Monday morning I dropped the car off and came to find out that Herb Chambers Allston does not offer loaner cars at all........WHAT?!!? Luckily I work in a MBTA Accessible location. After a 1.5 hour commute on the MBTA ONE WAY to work and being an hour late, I called Frank again and their phones were out of service. This is an IT issue that I understand is just bad timing for me, however in the world of cell phones and email no one reached out to me until almost 4PM that day after I sent a very sharp email asking them to call me. I asked Herb Chambers Allston to install the license plate mounting bracket and also thoroughly check that the service Land Rover performed was up to Honda OEM standards. They did neither, when I finally got the car back and the noise was gone. Now looking over the car in my driveway the detail work was shoddy at best, ice cream melted still in the cupholders and all the nooks and crannies are still coverd with dirt and grime. Its been nearly a week and I still do not have the registration nor can I get the car state inspection without it in hand. Needless to say Herb Chambers Land Rover and Herb Chambers Honda Allston have provided us with a terrible experience, I would not recommend either for car buying, service, or shopping. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Just leased a Jaguar FPace from Jag Sudbury and had an excellent experience right from preordering to driving out of the showroom with the FPace. My experience with Kyle Steele and Land Rover Sudbury has been nothing short of awful. He knew nothing about the cars he was selling. Was unable to answer simple questions such as what model car we were test driving, as well as sound system and other basic things. When sitting at his desk, I asked about a print out of the carfax and some info on the car which he was unable to provide. Instead he wrote the item number and told me to search it online. After this sherade of being less than useful for anything other than repeating his name he passed me off to his colleague who was able to at least provide a bit of salesmanship, but still failed at a follow up or say anything other than "it's got what you want" and then some wives tail about why Land Rover wants to keep a level of class without kids seats or some story to that effect. It was really nice wasting my afternoon with Kyle S. at Land Rover Sudbury. Some of the positive points which I appreciate are how much more professional everyone at competing dealers seemed. Mercedes and Audi immedalty seemed like a dream to work with to the extent I was uncomfortable to be enjoying myself while looking at buying a new car. The real crux of my afternoon was when I left and managed to get more information on land rovers from the Mercedes dealer up the street who had a trade in. I honestly couldn't believe he was able to read a spreadsheet and give me the info I needed without pulling teeth. It was almost like he was doing his job and wasn't inconvenienced by having a customer at his desk.Thank you Kyle S, it's been a pleasure.

Just bought a 2012 Range form Vito. The car was what we wanted and he worked quickly to get everything worked out for us and get the car ready for pick up, even though I showed up much earlier than expected. He was straight forward and honest, no silly tricks or games. The only irritant, and this had nothing to do with Vito, was the car failed inspection because it hadn't been run long enough after the computers were reset, so I have to go back; and whomever detailed the car really whiffed. The pull down area int he back where the cup holder is is COVERED is melted ice cream and chocolate, crumbs and grime. It's gross. But Vito did an excellent job, I'd recommend him.

My husband and I went in the store on a Sunday afternoon early February with no intention to buy a car, only to look and test drive it because we were still looking for a vehicle to buy for myself. I have test driven a mini, beetle, q3, glk350 and after that day a certified Lr2. Our intention was to buy a new car that would last us a good time. After test driving the lr2 I fell in love with the car! The inside view is great, the car drove smoothly, and the best part was that the car was owned by the dealer as a courtesy car to customers. It was in great shape but dirty in the inside as you would expect being a pre-owned vehicle. By the end of the visit my husband turns to me and asks, "out of the other cars you test drove, which one do you like best?" I responded with a big smile, "this one (lr2), but I loved the inside of the Audi". The Audi was brand new, so obviously had no stains or sign of wear. We sat down with the salesperson, Yan, and started our negotiation. We told him specifically that we would only get the car if it came with brand new tires, a DETAILED cleaning inside and out, and if the crack on the windshield would be fixed, and he and the store manager agreed with our request. Wednesday comes, it's pick up day! We are excited! The car had brand new tires, the crack on the windshield will be fixed in the spring, it's sparkling clean on the outside but NEVER touched on the inside! Shame! I was very upset, having the car shampoo was very important to me and they failed! The stains on the roof was still there, the coffee stains on the seats were still there, the dash board was never wiped down, the "vents" where cold and hot air comes from was still dirty, the inside storage of the front doors were still dirty, the car looked exactly the same as the day we test drove it! We told Yan right away what we saw, and he did too agreed that the car was NOT DETAILED. He asked me to wait 15 minutes so they could clean the car before I leave. I did wait 15 minutes, they wiped my car really fast and handed me the keys. Yan tries to fixes his fault with a 15 minutes wipe down, but I know for fact that a DETAILED service can never be done with that short of time. We take the keys back and leave. At this time, when driving the car home all I could think was, "wow what a horrible customer service". Still bother by the incompetence of both the salesperson and detailed professional, my husband and I emailed the store manage and explained what happened. His name is Ben, and as soon as he gets our email he calls, apologies for what happened, and ask us to drop the car for a full detailed service because he wanted to make it up for us. Very pleased with the call back we agreed to bring the car. We dropped the car for 3 to 4 hours service. Believe or not they still did not detailed my car! The vents were still the same, the front doors storage compartment was still dirty, and the coffee stains on the side of the driver seat was still there. What a waste of time! To top it off, after mentioning again to Yan, that the car was not detailed for the second time, he calls me, the customer a perfectionist! That's unexceptable! He shouldn't have called me that ever because it's my right to expect a job done well!

From the first day that I walked in Vito was extremely helpful and spent a great deal of time with me, test driving several cars and talking about the features that I wanted. When I stopped in, unannounced, for a second visit, he came out immediately to show me a car that I found online. But most of all, when it becomes apparent that none of the cars on the lot were a perfect fit for what I wanted, he worked hard to find a car out of state, to bring it to Sudbury, and it was exactly what I wanted. I had been working with several dealerships and doing a lot of research on my own and Land Rover Sudbury was the dealership that came through for me. In addition, after trading in my old car, when I realized I had left something attached to the car that meant a great deal to me, he found my old car, found the item and offered to mail it back. Above and beyond service, all around.

Before my recent experience with Herb Chambers Land Rover Sudbury, I always believed that the Herb Chambers is one of the most trustworthy car dealer companies around, but it was not the case. Here is the story: I have found a CPO Land Rover Evoque for $27,000 on Herb Chambers and Land Rover US websites a week ago and contacted them to see whether the vehicle is available or not. They responded right away acknowledging that it is available and we can arrange a test drive. I asked about the price too, to see if it is negotiable or not which they said that it is Haggle-free as Herb chambers always advertise. A day later I contacted them again in order to arrange a test drive for the afternoon. I have sent four emails to their General manger, sales manager and two other sales persons, but they didnt respond. As it was a bit strange, I decided to check their website to see if the vehicle is sold or not but what I found was shocking. The vehicle was available but theyve relisted it with a new $32,000 price tag! I sent them another email and asked if it is a mistake or not. Their sale manager responded that it is not, claiming that the price of the car a three years old used one- has changed because of the market in a single day! As the claim was ridiculous I asked him to escalate the issue to their general manger which he said he did but no response at all. A completely disappointing experience, what they did is just disgusting. I have never saw even a cheap dealer on the market does what they did: Raising the price of a car for $5000 as soon as discovering that the customer is interested to buy it! They just traded Herb Chambers reputation social capital- for $5000!

My wife decided to purchase a Land Rover Discovery Sport from Land Rover of Sudbury after visiting the dealership this past winter. The ordering process went very smooth. The salesman, Holden, was quite helpful...at first. However, after completing the order, email communication beccame sparse. We were not informed of changes made to the vehicle until the week before it was to be delivered. Holden, apologized, continuously stating how busy he was, which was the same response every time we attempted communication. Finally, a few weeks ago, we were informed that the vehicle was ready. We drove the four hours to the dealership. Upon arrival, Holden was "too busy" to greet us and show us the vehicle. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, the sales manager asked for the keys to our trade-in so they could evaluate. We were promised that we would receive a fair trade in offer...but this was certainly not the case. After a short time, the sales manager returned stating that since the car was "imported to the US" from Canada, they could only offer less than half of what the trade in value was. Mind you, this was an Audi SUV in great shape with extremely low miles. When we informed them that this was unacceptable, and that Holden had promised us a fair trade, they said that there was nothing that could be done. They offered us $14,000 less than the lowest NADA trade in value for an Audi Q7! The sales manager blamed us for not informing Holden of the details of our trade in to which we provided several emails stating otherwise. We were forced to leave the dealership without the new vehicle which we had waited five months for. Throughout this, Holden stayed in his cubicle, never once coming out to greet us, speak to us or explain the issue. To this day, we still have not received an email of apology. However, as luck would have it, all ended well. Though we were quite upset at our experience with Land Rover of Sudbury, we went to another dealership thirty minutes away. I will not name the dealership as I don't want this to be scene as an advertisement. This dealership, had the same vehicle we had previously ordered (minus an option and different interior color). They offered us $10,000 more than what Land Rover of Sudbury offered for our trade and we purchased the vehicle in a matter of minutes. They even delivered the vehicle to our house, four hours away, two days later and helped us register it. Land Rover of Sudbury refused to do this stating that we could just put our out of state plates on it and register it later. I would reccomend doing your due diligence before purchasing a vehicle at Land Rover of Sudbury.

I was looking to buy a new evoque and had visited two other dealerships. I did not find their customer service up to par. After an initial email to the Sudbury dealership Inquiring about the Evoque, I decided to take a ride to the dealership. Enter Vito Fulciniti. He listened to our requests, didn't try and sell us anything more than what we wanted, and was very honest about all questions asked. He clearly has a natural ability to win people over and to make their car purchasing experience very enjoyableThank you Vito!

9 years ago, when I was 8 months pregnant with our first child, we started shopping for SUVs. My husband would tease me about getting a minivan. I really wanted a Land Rover but he thought that I was nuts due to the cost. I convinced him to visit Land Rover, Peabody as we live on the North Shore. They took us for the test ride on the small fake mountain which was fun. We looked at a couple of used LR3s but I wanted something a little newer. While there, I also learned that Land Rover Peabody would not provide a loaner vehicle during service unless I bought a brand new SUV. Then, I found a few sales demos for sale at the Land Rover Sudbury dealership. I was hesitant due to the distance from Gloucester. However, the low mileage on each vehicle was enticing. From our first visit to the Sudbury dealership, I was blown away by their customer service which was markedly different from the North Shore dealer. We bought one of the sales demos, a silver LR3 that I Loved. Sudbury provided a loaner car during each and every service picking up my car in Gloucester while dropping off the loan. My son spends time at MassGeneral for appointments and sometimes overnight visits. More than once, Land Rover Sudbury has met me right at the hospital to pick up my car for service. With young children, especially one with a health issue, knowing I never have to worry about transportation is just amazing. The LR3 did not have a 3rd row therefore I traded it in at Sudbury for a black LR4 that seats 7. Perfect for carpooling and long trips. I call the service department from time to time with inane questions and I'm always struck by their patience and kindness. I called the service department this morning and told Tom that the coolant is leaking. I know that they are booking appointments weeks in advance right now as I originally had a regular service booked for May 29th. But, Tom said "have the car towed in and we will get it in." Just amazing service. When Tally's Towing picked up my LR4 this morning, I explained why we bought the car all the way in Sudbury rather than locally. He said that he finds the folks working there to be polite and friendly to the tow truck drivers as well. When you are working with the public, you are in the people business. Sometimes folks understand that and sometimes they don't. I am very grateful for the Sudbury Land Rover dealership!

I was hesitant to take a drive all the way from the South Shore, but the pre-owned 2013 Lexus RX350 looked great in the pictures, and was a great price for the miles. Very happy we did. We had driven several other cars at multiple dealers. All of which were quite nice, but we couldn't find the "right" one, be it either the price, or the details of the vehicle. This one had it all.Nice comfortable showroom, beautiful Jags and Rovers over which to drool!Matt Phillips took us on a nice route to put the RX through the paces; I'd be remiss to not mention how scenic it was. After driving it, there was no haggling over the vehicle; just a quick point-counter point on the value of our trade, and deal done. Very simple! Matt was very attentive in assisting us through the entire process.When I mentioned that it might be difficult to come back to Sudbury to pick up the vehicle, the response was, We'll bring it to you. That's exactly what happened. Vehicle was delivered to my work, shiny as new, and with a full tank of fuel.What more can you ask? Can't wait to take it to the Cape this weekend!This is my second car in a row from Herb Chambers. I've driven over 50 miles to each dealership, and have been happy I did.

Tom Shusda led a very thorough service team as he researched an engine issue with our 2008 Sport HSE. After presenting us with our options, we decided to look into buying a new Sport HSE. I was on my way to work during one of our recent Boston snow storms and the engine light came on. This was alarming, but my LR4 was running just fine. I had hoped it would re-set and disappear, however, on my way home the engine light was still on. I called Pat Higgins. After asking if the vehicle was otherwise running normally, Pat set up an appointment at my earliest to have the vehicle scanned. Pat said he had heard of this before and most likely after three cold starts the engine light would go off. Pat was spot on correct.Pat is always professional yet reassuring. He is a terrific asset to the Sudbury Land Rover team.

The sales manager could not have been any clearer that he did not want my business (I was even a repeat customer!). The shortcoming of this dealership and maybe the brand is that they'd rather be concerned about selling as many vehicles as possible without trying first to build some loyalty with their existing customers. Here are some of the very best cliche car salesman lines thrown at me to pressure me into buying a truck faster than I anticipated: (sic)- This is a very in-demand truck, and a lot of my walk-in customers have been wanting to purchase your truck- We need you to come in and pay for the truck before the month is over or we cannot guarantee the availability of your truck.- If you do not like the spec of this order, we'd be happy to order you another one that will arrive sometime in the future. Maybe April.I was already purchasing this vehicle at full MSRP. How much more are they going to ask for it?

My wife and I have been buying Range Rovers from Land Rover Sudbury for the past four years. We have had Sports, and Full Size Rovers (6). The sales team is easy to deal with and the service department will come all the way out to Central MA to pick-up and drop off a loaner car for any services needed. This is by far the best Land Rover dealership in the northeast. The General Manager (Ben) always makes his presence known to be sure you get the best buying experiance and deal. My experience with Land Rover Sudbury has been consistently excellent. I have purchased and service 4 Range Rovers with LRS during the past 12 years. The new car sales experience provides sufficient information with no sales pressure. The service department is thorough and efficient. I plan to continue to work with LRS.

The sales personnel, Rusty Johnson, in particular went above and beyond to provide optimum customer satisfaction. From paperwork being brought to Boston to be signed to expedition of delivery of vehicle. The kindness as well as the amount of time (over an hour) shown to my teenage son, who visited the dealership with me and had numerous inquiries was treated with such an abundance of respect...we left the dealership with the thought "Wow, what an unbelievably great guy that Rusty is"....

I was one of the customers affected by the recent, unfortunate fire at LR Sudbury. While dealing with the consequences, paperwork, and Insurance company red tape was quite painful, the LR Sudbury team of Rusty (sales), Tom (service) and Anthony (management) were key to helping me get through the process in a reasonably smooth manner. They were also instrumental in going out of their way to ensure I had a loaner throughout the period (Insurance company did not even broach this topic) and miraculously managed to find me a new RR HSE and have it ready for purchase within a few weeks of the fire. With the new RR, I have now purchased my 5th LR from Rusty and every experience has been fantastic. I would recommend Rusty and the LR Sudbury dealership and management to anyone who is seriously considering the purchase of a new LR.

We have purchased six vehicles from Rusty Johnsen and could not ask for a better salesman. He is professional, fair, and honest. He knows what we like and also knows that we like to switch in and out of cars fairly regularly. We have purchased both new and used Land Rovers from Rusty and each time we are treated like we are his best customer. Anthony Carbone is great to work with and makes sure all of the paperwork is ready to go when we are ready to take ownership of our cars. Any issues we have had on the service side of cars are addressed quickly and we are provided with frequent updates. Loaner cars are delivered to our house (if needed). This was the third LR dealership I had contacted to gain information regarding the upcoming 2015 RR Sport SVR and the only one that returned my call and had the information. Matt Phillips was great to work with, timely and informed. Ultimately when going to turn in the build sheet I found a 2012 RR ATB with very low miles that I picked up. Pricing and negotiation was very straight forward and fair. Both Matt and management were excellent to deal with and made the buying experience comfortable. I would definitely return to purchase again.

We leased our Range Rover and we felt that we were treated fairly and were provided outstanding service from the first face to face meeting with Lance till the day we came to take delivery of the vehicle. We told him what our financial and payment goals were, what we wanted for options, and he recommended other options that would best suit out needs. Lance walked us through the entire vehicle and got us completely comfortable with the vehicle and its features. Lance is a very professional, knowledgeable and courteous sales person and I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to use and employ his services.

Land Rover Sudbury provides a great car buying experience supported by knowledgeable sales people (Rusty Johnson) and a world class service department. I have purchased 5 Land Rovers/Range Rovers from them and each time the experience was enjoyable. This is one of the only dealerships I know where the sales people are in touch with you post sales - not days post sales, years post sales. Service department ( Tom Shusda) goes out of its way to explain what is being done and offering suggestions and alternatives - they are experts!

I was getting a very good treatment for him for service and he also gave me a loaner car which was very useful for the time I was away. I have owned four range rovers so my husband and I have had lots of experience with the service department at Land Rover Sudbury. Service experience there has always been very positive, particularly with Peter as head. THAT IS, until now. Peter left a few months ago and unfortunately, the service department has gone downhill. With Peter, I always got timely feedback on the status of my car, my car was always reliably serviced and turn around time was very prompt. Peter was always more than happy to provide a loaner vehicle so that I could get around while my vehicle was in the shop. More often than not, he had the loaner vehicle delivered to my home because he knew how difficult it would be for me to pick it up with no car. He was friendly and professional. He provided the type of service you would expect with the purchase of a luxury vehicle. (Rusty Johnsen, by the way, was our most recent SALES person and he was very good to work with). Most recently, my car broke down on a major road while I was traveling with my three children. The car just stopped working - lost all power. Luckily I was able to steer the car off to the side of the road out of major traffic. When I called the service department to notify them of the car breaking down, they could not have been more unhelpful. I asked if I could get a loaner so I could at least transport my kids home. Well he could not have been more unhelpful. The car was eventually towed to the dealership after several hours of waiting with my kids outside on the side of a major road with traffic. When the car arrived, the dealership never called me to let me know that the vehicle made it. I finally called the dealership to make sure my car had indeed arrived in addition to requesting a loaner vehicle. Jeff could not act more like I was a pain in the xxx. I asked if he could have the loaner delivered to my home as I had no way of getting there. He said he had no loaners. He finally located one the next day acting as if it was a big deal for him to do. I asked if he could have it delivered to the house as I had no way of getting there. He said no, he had no staff. I said I would try to get there, but asked if he could deliver it the following morning if I could not get there that afternoon. He was very reluctant, but agreed. Well wouldn't you know, the next morning, the loaner never arrived. Nor did I hear anything from Jeff in the service department. So my car was towed there on Monday. Today is Friday - 5:00 pm to be exact. I have not heard anything from Jeff in service at the dealership as to the status of my car repair, if they have even looked at it and offer any possible explanation as to why it may have just completely died on the road. They really need Peter back. Can Peter please come back??

He kept me informed as we waited for the car to get delivered and the week the car cam in he was very flexible and got it for me as requested in a timely way.

I am writing this review after concluding my purchase of a Range Rover Evoque at Herb Chambers in Sudbury. Let me first start with some context. We have bought a number of luxury vehicles including BMWs, Range Rovers and Porsches across a number of dealers in the US and internationally. In addition to this context, I recently moved to the US and while my credit score is excellent, I have limited history which could have been a problem financing a vehicle in the USuntil I walked into Land Rover of Sudbury! We were moving from NYC to Boston and therefore needed to buy a car. We initially went to a Land Rover in Manhattan who were only interested in taking my deposit. They were not knowledgeable about the car, and when they did get my financing, got it for me at 11% with a requirement of 50% down! They also took over a week to refund my deposit but that is another story for another day. I decided to try and get the Range Rover Evoque in Boston, given it was probably easier to register. I looked up Land Rover in Sudbury and gave them a call Anthony Carbone picked up. I told him I was about to make the trip from NYC to Boston, but that I needed to finance the car and had limited credit history. He was upfront about the risks but assured me he would do his best to get a good deal. I landed at the dealership on a Saturday at 11am Anthony and Bobby greeted me, and introduced me to Rusty who would take me through the sales process. Rusty immediately asked me if I wanted to go for a test drive, and we were off for a 6 mile drive around Sudbury. He was quiet, and not pushy letting the car sell itself. He was on point with any questions I had. He then asked me what trim I was interested in, when I said Prestige; he drove 10 minutes away to the back lot to pull out a brand new Prestige (still in its white shipping wrapping). He took off the wrapping but I didnt like the color. He then asked patiently if I wanted to see anything else. The Evoque on the showroom floor caught my attention and I asked if it was for sale it was, and we immediately got down to numbers. Rusty provided me with payment plan options and after a bit of back and forth we starting calling the banks. That is where Anthony and his magic came in! He spent a little over an hour calling the banks, keeping all my limitations in mind, and only came out of his office when he had a positive resultand positive it was. He was able to get me a rate of ~2% with a structure very much under a monthly payment I was comfortable with. I agreed, we processed the papers and in a matter of 4 hours I was out the door with the deal done. I asked if I could pick up the car the following week, and knowing it was our 5th year anniversary and a gift for my wife, they dressed up the Evoque with a red bow for collection! Over the week I inundated both Rusty and Anthony with a number of questions and every time they were super quick to respond. This experience has been BY FAR THE BEST car purchasing experience I have ever experienced. I will only buy Range Rovers while we live in Boston (unless Anthony moves to another brand) because dealing with this dealership was exceptional. Given my limited credit history they were able to put us in a car of our choice with no car sales BS, the industry is known for and plagued with. The staff was extremely helpful; I was easily guided towards the best vehicle for my family and our needs. The financing and paperwork work for the financing went quick and smoothly. When we exited the building after the paperwork was complete we were give a full top to bottom explanation on all the functions of the vehicle. There is a reason we keep coming back to this brand time and time again his name is Rusty Johnsen. This is the fourth Land Rover we have owned since 2002, and we purchased each from Rusty Johnsen. My wife is an avid fan of this brand and after her most recent mistake purchasing an Infinity JX, we knew we had to see Rusty to see what our options were for getting her out of a almost brand-new car and back into a Land Rover. Needless to say, trading in a new car weeks after buying it is a difficult situation. After contacting Rusty and explaining the situation, Rusty went well above and beyond in finding us the right vehicle and helping us make the trade-in a smooth process and financially a better situation that we could have imagined. Our most recent experiences with the Infinity of Westboro and Porsche of Burlington both also Herb Cambers dealerships - made us seriously question how those businesses could be owned by the same company Sudbury. The differences in their approach to sales and customer service were striking. Porsche of Burlington sold a car out from under me the very day I arrived to take delivery, and Infinity did not return our calls or e-mails after we explained that my wife was not comfortable in the Infinity JX we purchased from them (in fact, we have yet to see the return of funds for the pre-paid service plan we purchased). Rusty has a unique style that is really genuine and up front. He is passionate about the brand, and extremely knowledgeable. He guides you through the process, makes sure you are comfortable, and engenders the type of respect that ensures you will return the next time around. You feel like you have a friend, not just a salesperson, and I imagine Rusty has a good number of repeat customers.

Rusty made the purchasing process easy and enjoyable. After purchasing the car he kept us informed regarding its expected arrival time. He brought it to our home with all necessary paperwork. He took the time to explain the car's features so we could enjoy them immediately instead of trying to figure them out as we go. He also helped in stall our roof rack and facilitated all our other accessory needs.

As a family we have purchased 5 vehicles from Ben M and his team and every experience has been flawless. My most recent visit was to have my side view mirror replaced. I spoke with Pat Higgins, my go to guy for anything service related. In a 10 min phone call I had everything set for them to pick up my truck and drop off a service vehicle. What was truly important about this service call was that we had literally just had a baby and needed the truck picked up at the hospital. Pat took care of everything. And worked around our schedule. It's the little things sometimes that take place that leave a great impression. The quality of the work was great. When I got my truck back it looked brand new. I recently traded in my LR3 for a Rover Sport. I have always been happy with the dealership and the experience I have with the service of my vehicle. Tom in the service department has always gone above and beyond to be helpful and informative, most importantly always fair! When it came time to trade my LR in, I wanted to stay loyal to a dealership that has treated me fair over the years. I was introduced to Matt in the sales department and was extremely happy with the entire buying experience. Matt was kind, fair and made me feel more like a friend than a customer. I was kept up to date on my new suv, it was ready when promised and there was zero pressure or hidden costs. I have been loyal to Subdury for service and now they have made a customer for life with sales. The dealership should be proud of the people that work there. Very happy with my entire experience. Ed Oteri was professional and efficient. My husband and I loathe the entire car buying process -- the entire thing, especially the sales pitch, the sleazy "so tell us, did you like the car" before you get the price, etc. (we had this experience at another Herb Chambers in Burlington) Our experience with Ed couldn't have been further from this. We walked in, received a fair price for our trade, and bought a car. There was no drama. We plan on buying another Lexus or Land Cruiser for our next car, but we would wait, even a year or two for this dealership to get one in as a trade so that we could deal with them again instead of some other dealer. Ed Oteri receives my highest rating in every regard.

You should have all new sales people train under him. He took car of the details, registration, had the car delivered.....I can be tough, but I have nothing but glowing remarks for him. Like some people, my wife and I don't enjoy the whole process of buying a care from a dealer. The inevitable use of the car salesman playbook, from trying to get on top of you by immediately making you aware of how much they know and you don't, or by dividing and conquering, so much so that the manipulative experience is so oily that you can't wait to get home and take a shower. We even took to renting from time to time because it was so hassle-free by comparison.Enter Matt Phillips. He helped us look at a Range Rover a few years ago, and even though we didn't pull the trigger then, we thought of him immediately when we felt forced to have to confront the otherwise sleazy world of car buying. So we went in and sure enough he was there to help us get exactly what we wanted. Matt was great. My wife kept saying, couldn't he find something else to do, since he was so nice, friendly, helpful, easy, and unsalesman-like. No browbeating, no pressure, no shmooze, no shtik. We were so happy with how easy he made it to get a car this time, that we've already contacted him about upgrading one of our other cars. Great experience. No hassle, just very happy results getting the car we always wanted. In fact, we got much more than we ever expected to get. What a pleasant surprise!

I recently leased 2 cars from Land Rover of Sudbury (2012 RR Sport and then flipped back for a 2012 RR) and have nothing but positive things to say about this dealership, both in terms of how I was treated generally as a customer and how straightforward they were in terms of negotiating the terms of each deal. In particular, my sales consultant, Rusty Johnsen, was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, responsive, able to quickly work my flip into the RR, and knows these cars inside and out. I am generally appalled at the lack of knowledge some car sales professionals have (particularly in terms of the nav/entertainment systems) but Rusty was able to answer all of my questions and show me how to solve the handful of items I could not figure out. I would definitely recommend the dealership and Rusty.

I have purchased two vehicles from the dealership within the past six months. I have dealt with Ed Oteri, customer sales representative, on both occasions and found him to be a courteous professional. Not only was I greeted by name on both visits, but his travels to Connecticut to handle the out-of-state paperwork were an appreciated sign of his complete attention to customer service and satisfaction. While I plan on having my Range Rover for some time to come, I will be dealing with Ed Oteri again, when the time comes to purchase another Land Rover. Finally, I am quite impressed with Land Rover Sudbury's customer service.

A year ago my experience with this dealership was very positive. More recently, it was the worst visit to a dealership I have ever experienced and I have purchased many new cars in my life, including Mercedes, SAAB, Volvo, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Mini-Cooper. Overall Mr. Luddy did not seem very engaged or interested, was not very helpful or informative, and at what became the end of visit....extremely rude! Apparently my offer of less than advertised sales price was insulting to Mr Luddy. His reaction was totally uncalled for and unprofessional!!

Dealing with car purchases is always nerve racking whether or not you're purchasing a high end vehicle or not. Thankfully, I chose to go to Sudbury Land Rover where I was completely taken aback by the incredibly high standards of professionalism, the good humor, and thoughtfulness of the dealership. Their philosophy was essentially, "how can we help you". Ben Muenzberg and his sales team put me completely at ease. Rusty Johnsen was superb in following up ; completely without pressure or hassle.They made the decision to purchase hassle free and easy making clear that my satisfaction was key in the entire process. Of course while that treatment helps, it is the after purchase care that was the true test of their professionalism and they were extraordinary!All aspects of care, question, detail and minor issues were dealt with promptly, painlessly and without hesitation. On the contrary, they were apologetic for any inconvenience and following up afterwards to ensure my satisfaction. These are not the type of people that relinquish responsibility at the time of sale but continue to fret and work hard afterwards. Rusty Johnsen is the guy to work with there. Talk about customer service - he goes out of his way to do anything to make the process easy for you. He did such a phenomenal job with our LR4 we bought this summer that we just got a Sport from him too instead of sticking with BMWs for our second car. His knowledge, service and reliability are second to none. And he doesn't disappear right after the sale. He's been quick to help with anything afterwards too. We were reluctant to go to Sudbury from Wellesley but they pick up and drop off a loaner for service. Cant say enough! Ask for Rusty

Matt Phillips was great! He was attentive and detail oriented with my many questions regarding my 2009 Range Rover Sport. He was extremely patient with my request to test drive a couple of Range Rovers before making my decision. Once financing was figured out Matt did his best to make sure I got my new car as soon as possible. Great Experience.Anthony Carbone was also Great! He worked on my financing and was able to get a great rate. He was patient and honest with the options moving forward regarding financing. I am now in my Range Rover Sport because of Anthony's hard work making sure I was paying a price that would be comfortable for me. All in All, a great experience. I will be bringing my car in for service this week as I am having a few issues. I spoke with Pat yesterday, who was enthusiatic to fix the problems I am having. I can only hope the service department will be as great as Matt & Anthony.

My sister recommended that I call Herb Chambers LandRover of Sudbury to help me find a LR4. She has bought several iterations of the LandRover over the years with this dealership and has always been extremely pleased with their sales department, particularly Jim Murphy. Personally, I too had a fabulous experience. I knew the car I wanted and Jim Murphy went the extra mile and half to find me exactly what suited me. I might add he went overboard with responsiveness and guidance and even delivered my car to Cape Cod! A fair hike. The whole team was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. BTW: I called quite a few LandRover dealershipos in MA and Jim was the the most responsive and helpful of all.

My recent experience at Land Rover of Sudbury was fabulous. The whole atmosphere at the dealership was very impressive. It was extremely clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The service department went over and beyond my expectations. My service adviser Tom Shusda was incredible. He was on top of everything and was able to answer all my questions. I recently purchased a vehichle, the new Range Rover Evoque. Had a few minor issues so I brought it in to service to have checked out. I should of picked a different service person to deal with. Peter was the assigned service person whom is HORRIBLE! He has no customer service skills, you have to call him to get an update and he never returns your calls. When you bring your vehicle in for service you want that assurance that any issues you have with the car will be resolved. The experience dealing with him is like ordering getting food from a fast food joint, quick to get your order and quick to get you out. I'll give this service dealership another chance but will only deal with another service person. BTW this is my first vehichle with the Land Rover family and I'm not so happy with my experience.

Every gone to car dealers where they are overly enthusiastic to sell you a crap car? I thought those were bad, but this has to be the worst! I apologize for my rude tone however I hope other potential customers are aware of what they are getting into before they go here. I had a long one and a half hour drive to check out some evoques. I was promised a test drive on a couple of variations of the model and that they would be kept ready. The sales rep were notified about my long drive and that they should get in touch if anything changes.Upon arrival I was not greeted nor directed to nor spoken to for at least 15mins. Finally a sales rep approached me. After telling him I would like to take a look at the evoques he disappeared for 30mins and got back to me saying the model I'm interested in is sold out. I settled to look at other versions so I could get a feel for the car. He walked away without saying a word and disappeared and found him attending other customers. I approached him and told him I've been waiting here now 1hr and still not seen a single car and my time is being wasted. He apologized and returned after 10mins telling me that all of them are sold out! I was standing looking out side one evoque right in front of me! I completely agree with Ed L. and i feel as though its a pattern they have. I doubt they would honor any promises or deals they would offer you. In short they wasted my time. If you want to be catered there or shown some respect as a customer you need to rent a ferrari and drive into their lot (if you get my drift)There are always better dealers to deal with.

I have been a loyal Lexus customer for over 10 yrs and was given very good care. However, Land Rover Sudbury takes customer pampering to the next level. Eva Kraus my salesperson, is very smart, very patient and totally knowledgeable about her job. Also, I was give very fine assistance from Phil Hunt and Anthony Belmonte. Anthony greeted us, answered questions on the equipment for our existing RR Sport but also offered up to work numbers on buying us out of our 2010 lease to get us into a new 2012 RR Sport.Anthony pulled together a very compelling proposition for an idea that we hadn't considered, trading in our 2010 RR Sport early. The numbers worked out and now we are driving a new 2012 RR Sport.Very good experience, very creative sales team that pulled together a great offer and overall a very positive experience.

We had a test drive in a dealership closer to our home but ended up buying from your dealership for a few reasons. First, you had a much better selection which got us out to the dealership. Second, Matt was a pleasure to work with. And third, for service you offer to pick up the car, fix it, and return it with a loaner to drive while we wait. When Matt was out on a call when I came to pick up the car, two others at the dealership helped complete the transaction and they were very friendly and professional. All in all, an extremely positive experience. Thank you.

After looking at many other pre-owned cars and many other pre-owned dealerships, I walked into Land Rover Sudbury and met Eva. She greeted me, listened to what I was looking for, and then showed me a few cars that fit my description. I sat in a Land Rover LR2, and Eva explained everything to me in detail, but without being condescending or acting like a pushy car salesperson. She simply explained the features of the car, and of Land Rover in general. During our text drive, she really let me take over and experience the car, while answering the detailed questions that I had. After the test drive, Eva was never pushing to sell me the car. She was just so easy and friendly to work with. I felt like I was actually working with an old friend. I was given a fair value for my trade, and after looking around for the weekend and finding a similar car elsewhere, Eva was able to get me a little bit more money for my trade and the deal was sealed. And after I said yes, I then found out that Herb Chambers Land Rover Sudbury had already gone the extra mile to put brand new tires on the car, put all new front and rear brakes on the car, give the car an oil change, replace the wiper blades. And then when I picked up the car, there was even a full tank of gas in the car!Eva was great to work with, and I would highly recommend buying a car from Eva and Herb Chambers Land Rover Sudbury!!!

Peter was more than accomodating for my visit...as I was traveling from Rockport Mass, this was important. Once in the Service department, I was quickly greeted and assured that my vehicle was to be diagnosed, priced, and if agreed upon...serviced. I am happy to report that Peter lived up to his promises, and then some. He went so far as to personally hand wash my LR3 as the Roof Top Carrier didn't allow him to drive through the car wash. I am, as always, most impressed by the service and dealership.

Reently bought a used Ford F150 from the folks at Sudbury Land Rover. The sales experience was streamlined and painless. After driving the truck home and having it for a few weeks, i had the tires replaced, as i new I would have to. While at my mechanic I ha him take a look at the 4 wheel drive system. He informed me that it would not hold vacuum and was not functional, he also noticed that the steering shaft was bent. Although te 60 day warranty period was not up, the 2500 mile portion of the warranty had been exeeded by ove 2000 miles. I contacted Anthony Belmonte at the dealer ship and informed him of the repairs that were necessary, fully expecting t have to fight to get anything done as the warranty had expired. To my surprise he returned my call, scheduled the service and provided me with a loaner car. The dealership repaired both issues I had at no cost to me. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Sudbury Land Rover.

The service experience at Land Rover (Sudbury) has exceeded my expectations. A large part of that is due to the representative I've worked with there, Patrick Higgins, who is not only patient, polite and friendly, but does an excellent job of explaining the car's diagnosis and what is being done to fix it. They were also accomodating in terms of the loaner car and the drop-off/pick-up times, which they were consistently on time with, and my car is always returned with a car wash. I couldn't be happier with the service at this location. My last car was a BMW... Land Rover has provided all the service that BMW claims to have, but never truly provided.

These are the attributes I look for in a dealership and as a new cutomer to Land Rover / Jaguar of Sudbury I've found they deliver them in spades.Working with Matt Phillips and Ben Muenzberg on the purchase and delivery of my CPO 2008 Range Rover Sport was the most staright-forward, lowest pressure sales experience I've been a part of to date. Matt and Ben were both incredibly knowledgeable of all inventory on the lot, Land Rover / Jaguar or other, which made the test driving (which I did a bunch of) and selecting that much more fun and enlightening. It's amazing some of the features these guys clued me into on these trucks.Having now had the Rover in for its first service I can say that working with Patrick Higgins has been a continuation of the professionalism I've come to expect from these guys. Always prompt with an update, willing to work through even the most mundane logistical details and exceedingly courteous. Having a dealership that provides both pickup and drop-off of your vehicle while providing you with a loaner as well is a new experience for me and one I very much appreciate!! I've been out of town for business recently and Patrick arranged to have the vehicle picked up while I was away and delivered back before I got home. Doesn't get much better than that!I have a short fuse for high pressure sales tactics and for people who I feel are "gaming" me. I generally don't deal with them as a rule. This is a great dealership. Closed my deal in a matter of hours. Went for a test drive with Jim Murphy( Ask for Jim when you get there, he's the best, genuine salesman i have ever met. The mangager, Nadar, is also a very friendly guy . Bob threw for me a few extras too, although i never met him.)Jim is very knowledgeable about the car and was really fun driving with him.I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a Range Rover to head here, atleast let it be your first stop. I had a fantastic experience with LR of Sudbury. I initially went to meet my brother at the dealership as he was looking to purchase a CPO vehicle from them. When I arrived on the lot I was greeted within 2 mins of my arrival by someone that was driving a vehicle to the service bay. I nicely replied that I was "just looking". Once inside I was approached by Ben M, the Sales Manager. When I mentioned that I was meeting my brother there, he knew who he was!! Ben proceeded to show me around the lot and let me look at any vehicle I wanted. I began looking at the used vehicles (non Land Rover) when Ben asked if I had ever driven a Land/Range Rover. I replied "no". He asked if it would be ok if he grabbed the keys to a couple? Sure, why not. We went on a drive and I fell in love. Ben showed me all the features of the vehicle I was driving and took the time to tell me about what you get with a CPO Range Rover. I was hooked. When my brother arrived we began discussing the vehicle I was looking at. At this point it was almost 7:00pm. Ben and team kept their distance and provided us an opportunit to talk. Any questions we had, they answered. So, how does the story end.... My brother and I both bought Range Rover Sports that night. The reason, it was the little things. The time, patience and genuinely nice conversation we had with Ben and his team. Even when we couldn't determine what colors to buy because it was dark outside they pulled them into the service bay which was clean and bright. When the day came to pick up my new truck I got a picture text from Ben of the truck all clean and ready for me. I immediately sent the picture to all of my friends and family. Again, the little things. Its difficult to find that level of service today. I will 100% be back to LR of Sudbury and I am telling everyone I can about my experience. Job well done!!

Professional, prompt, knowledgeable, friendly service. Service department always keep you appraised of progress on your car and give realistic deadlines. And they will always try to squeeze you in if possible.On last visit I asked about extended warranty however sales guys weren't in office at that point. I received an email a couple of hours later detailing extended warranty options. Peter had made sure my enquiry was passed on - great service.

Went to go buy wipers for my 2005 range rover the other dayI purchased the wipers and they offered to put the wipers on my car at no extra charge!Also they found one of my clips broken on the arm and they gave me a deal on the clip and installedit at no extra charge as wellgreat service and very friendly!

Took my car in for service and Pat was great about writing each little problem I had down, and by the end of the service he had had the service guys look at everything and they ordered the parts for things that needed changing. I came into the Sudbury location on Wednesday afternoon, I needed a part for my Defender 110, which up till this point I was unable to locate through other area Rover dealers. We had been searching for a vehicle for at least 6 months. Originally we made an appointment to visit the dealership with another salesman, however when we arrived he was not in the office. We almost turned around and left but are glad we didn't. Lucky for us, Joe Catalano was working that day. Joe demonstrates a vast amount of knowledge, is honest and extremely patient. He returns email inquiries and phone calls promptly. It was a pleasure to work with Joe while purchasing our LR2.

Pat Higgins was a pleasure to deal with when having my LR4 serviced after the brake pad warning came on in my 2010 LR4 at 25K miles. I brought it in within days of the warning and thought sure all I would need was brake pads. Unfortunately, I learned that on this vehicle the brake pads and the rotors wear down together and get replaced together --- all the time. This translates into a cost of roughly $1500 every 25K miles just for the brakes. Although the service at LR Sudbury was great, it was disappointing to learn this about the LR4. But it does explain why my wheels on the LR4 are always so dirty even 2 days after the car is cleaned.

Mike was a tremendous help when we were looking for a smaller sized SUV. He showed us the LR2, and it was exactly the size we were looking for. I had my car serviced at the dealership on 8/28/11 and I was very satisfied with the level of service there. While I was at the dealership I had a chance to visit there parts department. Dmitriy in parts was able to answer all my questions, was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

--I always need a loaner car and one is always provided (in good shape) when I come in for service.--I feel the staff is very knowledgeable about the car make/model/year and can provide enough info over the phone to set my expectations on the time of service that may be needed and a ballpark on the price.--We were recommended a great extended warranty plan when we bought out our lease.--My young kids do not mind coming in and waiting 45 min to have something checked out because of the friendliness of the staff, food/beverage options, play area and that it's OK to walk around and look at the new cars.--Living in town, they have come to my office and dropped off/picked up my car which is great and very convenient.--Expectations set at service are met with final work done and billing.

I bought a used Volvo XC90 from Anthony. I made an appointment with Anthony and he had the car all ready to go when I arrived. During the test drive, he answered my questions, demonstrated the navigation system with ease, and went above and beyond by agreeing to an extended test drive to my house so my wife could see and also drive the car as it will be her car. Anthony was very provessional and greatly simplified the buying process.

I brought my Land Rover in for a regular maintenance check up. Since I don't know very much about cars, I normally feel pressured and skeptical of any further work that I am told needs to be done. Tom was different! There were a couple of things that he suggested I have taken care of, but he explained everything to me about exactly why he was recommending the work be done. He was very polite and professional. He has gained my trust, confidence, and my future business! Thanks Tom!!

I was at the dealership last week looking for a part for my used Range Rover. They didn't have the part in stock, fortunately Steve the parts manager was able to find it at another dealer so I could pick it up the same day. Overall the place was clean and everybody was very nice to me the whole time I was there.

I have to say that Peter Marikis is by far one of the best service advisor's I've ever had whether it be at Lexus, Audi or Land Rover. I find him to be very honest, and I truly feel I can trust him whenever leaving him with our Range Rover to be serviced. I know he is not going to tell me something has to be fixed if in fact it isn't necessary. He is extremely personable, always provides me with updates on my car, and always willing to help me out in any way whether it be providing me with a loaner car or having someone deliver my car to my home. Peter is the main reason I keep coming back to this dealership.

Let me start off by saying I buy allot of cars and I expect the very best deal out there no matter what car or amount Im spending. This would have been my 3rd LR, but after doing my homework on buying a new LR and residual values being very poor, I enquired and made an offer that I thought was very fair. The friendly & professional internet salesman came back at his bottom line price no further negotiations would be entertained. Since the 2012s are coming out, there should be better incentives like other dealers are doing today to turn over year end inventory. The last LR I purchased a few years back, the dealer took over $10k+ off sticker since the next model year LRs were being delivered. I felt the bottom line price that he came back with was very high considering you can buy 2011 DEALER Demos fully loaded w/ anywhere from 5-10k miles on Ebay for $10k to $13K+ below MSRP. I had also made it very clear that I had purchased allot of cars from the Herb Chambers empire over the years, but that didnt matter in price negotiations. Too bad, Im old school, so when I spend a considerable amount of money with this empire frequently, I want the very best deal and then some for being a loyal customer. In this case, the BS was being shoveled out Ill take my business elsewhere.

Great service experience. Had an immediate issue with my car that needed to be addressed. I drove right in and they took me right in and treated me great. After having major service issues with the dealership in northern MA with bad service and rude people this is the dealership to go to. People are nice and courteous and made me feel welcome. Just what I would expect after paying $80k for a automobile. This dealership reminded me of Lexus service.They have earned my service business and I plan to buy my next Rover from them (as long as they can give me a good price).

Anthony possesses all the attributes that a salesman for a auto dealership should have... He is personable... He is concise... He is knowledgeable... Most of all he is a very nice person... I definitely had a great experience during my purchase. It is the 2nd Range Rover Sport I buy at this dealership - the Sales person was Matt Phillips. Because of the way they treated me, I went back again!! Anthony Belmonte handled the sales this time - very professional and accomodating. Although there was a bit of an issue in the numbers because my trade-in was a lease and not owned by me, Anthony and the Herb Chambers team came through for me and made the deal happen. Very satisfied with my purchase and glad I'm driving a Range Rover Sport again.

Anthony was professional from the beginning and more importantly understands that most customers do NOT like the high pressure sales tactics. I received these tactics from Jake Kaplan Land Rover and I did not go back. I worked exclusively with Anthony and I found him to be helpful and attentive. He LISTENED to what I wanted, and made every effort to accommodate me. I am sorry to say, I ended up buying a new Mercedes. However, I will definitely be back for a Rover soon enough, and when I do I will be working with Anthony.

I have always loved the land rovers and finally it was time to buy. Went to sudbury and was met by Matthew, he was very friendly and in tune to our needs in a vehicle. He walked us thru the various models he had available and in the end we were very happy with our selection. Someday I will be back the Range Rover supercharged I really want. Peter managed the service on my wife's LR3 today and we had a fantastic experience. Upon calling Peter about a minor problem at 5:30 PM, the very next morning her car was picked up at our home & a loaner was left for her to use. The repair was done promptly, other issues were spotted and proactively fixed, communication was great, the price was right. Glad I bought this Land Rover from LR Sudbury!

Joe arranged a test drive within 5 minutes of my arrival and took me to the Mass Pike so I could experience the vehicle at above average speeds. Jim was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the sales process. He took as much time as I wanted to explain different pricing options and vehicle specifications, and responded to my many emails and calls at a moments notice. Steve was wonderful walking me through the vehicle's capabilities during the delivery process and made me feel very comfortable driving off the lot. Peter is always responsive and professional. We brought our LR2 in for a sunroof problem and a windshield replacement this week and as usual, everything was handled properly. Our sunroof was stuck in the open position and they got us in early before any major storm hit. We are also coming up to the end of our warranty and Peter checked everything to make sure we were all set. We always use Land Rover Sudbury for any service we need on the LR2.

Both Matt and Nader were very professional and friendly. Matt was not a pushy salesman which is really what I liked. 2 items got 4 instead of 5:1. I was surprised to learn about additional coverages. I was told about them at the last minute while I was writing the check. I wish I was told about this earlier.2. I was not happy with trailer hitch and roof crossbars. It is pitty that Land Rover charge close to 1000 for a hich which can not be used (bike rack) without an extender. Regarding cross bar, I had to ask matt to remove it as it was not at all practical to install the way it was installed.Otherwise this dealership and people are very nice. This is a review based on the initial sale, as we haven't dealt with the service department yet.I've bought many cars and dealt with even more sales people in dealerships all over MA. I can truly say that Jim Murphy of Land Rover Sudbury is one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with when buying a car. If you notice, I didn't refer to Jim as a "salesman". That's because Jim made the whole experience seem more like we were with a family friend, helping us get what we wanted, as opposed to sales guy selling us a car. He is friendly, honest, knowledgeable, patient, no-pressure and shows he sincerely wants the customer to be satisfied.Herb Chambers dealerships are generally first rate and good to deal with. But Jim sets the bar high for them. So if you're looking to buy a Land Rover/Range Rover, stop into Land Rover in Sudbury. Ask for Jim and you'll see what I mean.

This inadvertently turned out to be a complicated deal with respect to finding the vehicle I wanted and having it delivered to a place convenient for me but not very convenient for the dealer. Jim Murphy jumped through hoops to make it happen on a timely basis. I do think that the dealership is tough on pricing, but as it turned out under the circumstances, it was OK and Jim went the extra (5) miles to pull it all together. All in all, a more than satisfactory experience and I would strongly recommend Land Rover Sudbury and Jim Murphy---mm hale

I decided to shop around and was extremely pleasantly surprised by this dealership. They actually knew a great deal about the vehicles, were friendly and, most importantly, willing to share the numbers they were looking at so we could arrive at a very fair deal. The two other dealers (including the one with which I had an existing relationship) made first proposals that I frankly found to be offensive and a real price gouge. I hadn't looked on Edmunds or KBB yet and I think they just assumed they could take advantage of the situation. The first proposal at this dealership was actually a very fair and good deal and we were able to settle on an excellent deal for the new car and the trade in. They could not have made the process easier and really went above and beyond in customer service. I didn't think I would have a great experience at a chain dealership but I was handily proven wrong. I'd highly recommend this dealership - I haven't found another Land Rover dealership in the Boston area where the price and service were this good and I felt like I could actually trust the staff.

We have had Landrovers for over 6 years- We were looking to get an Escalade ESV because of the size of our family. After Mike took me out for a test drive of the LR4 - there was no way we were not getting one. We decided to give up the size (bigger trunk in other car) for the LR4. Mike did a great job - he knew the car truly loved it, and we love it and all it has to offer. I had called two other land rover dealers before calling herb. the other dealers gave the same line as all dealers, you have to come in. Phil hunt was and Mike fleming made the it a joy. We all know we have to come in sooner or later but to have most of the work dune it was a great feeling. I will always go to herb for all my cars.

I really had a great experience buying my vehicle from Land Rover of Sudbury. I feel that I received a fair price and the salesman was honest and straightforward. There was great communication throughout the purchase by everyone involved in the sale. They offered the standard upgrades and described them accurately, but were not overly pushy in trying to make a sale. In addition, they beat the financing rate that i had secured by a third party. I would highly recommend to anyone.

When I returned a few weeks later, Matt and the business manager promptly accepted my offer and promised to locate and transport the exact model I have in mind from NJ to MA. At the delivery, Mike did a tremendous job walking me through the terrain response system, electronics setup, Bluetooth phone pairing, navigation system, and off-road capability. Really, I can go on and on. Compared to previous car buying processes (I owned few Toyota/Honda cars in the last decade), I must say that this is the first time I truly "enjoyed" the car buying experience. LR4 is a solid built SUV, and my family is safeguarded by this beautifully-crafted British tank.

My recent experience at Land Rover Sudbury, and in particular with our Sales Guide Mike Fleming, was outstanding! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the car, Mike has an approachable manner that put me at ease, making me comfortable enough to ask about the smallest details regarding the operation of the car. In fact, even though this was my second Range Rover Sport, I learned things about the capabilities of the car that I had never known. He was patient as he walked me through the navigation system and extremely competent in highlighting all of the features that were new to me in this model. He spoke directly to me and was enthusiastic about ensuring I knew everything I needed to know to have the best driving experience possible. When follow-up became necessary in closing out on registration and inspection details Mike personally contacted us and made sure that we understood exactly what was required to finalize and made sure that all was resolved in time for me to take the car on its inaugural road trip for Mothers Day weekend! Nader did a top job in making sure that I was able to get the best rate and the most responsible after market purchases. Joe was kind courteous and funny. All the stuff you need when looking to spend 50K. Overall, the car needed to be returned for some work on it, but they handled it with care. I am generally satisified. No one is pushy and everyone seems to be interested in making sure that you get the right car.

This was my first ever vehicle purchase. From all the stories I'd heard about the car business it was going to be a horribly long and painful process -- not for me. Matt and Nader were very fair on price and were very timely. They could tell how much I wanted to be in my new car and really went to bat for me. Even after they had secured the funds on a Friday, Matt rushed and camped out at the registry to _make_sure_ that I had my car the same day. This kind of service is hard to come by at any dealer for a car of any price.Thanks guys.

I was looking for a late model LR3, although hadn't spent much time researching the vehicle prior to my first visit Land Rover of Sudbury. I met with Mike Fleming, who was happy to show me the extensive selection of these vehicles. We took a test drive, and Mike quickly impressed me with his knowledge of the vehicle and ability to answer all my questions.But what I was most impressed with was Mike's approach. There was no pressure. He simply explained the pricing policy, and let the decision up to me. He followed up with me in an appropriate manner, again, with no pressure. I traded in a 2004 landrover discovery for a lease on a 2011 LR4. the disco was on the fritz, but got good value ($7000 trade in). With $2K down + plus trade in i was able to get the monthly payment down to $491. I would have given the experience a a more solid rating however there was "miscommunication" between the amount down and trade in value that would lead to $491/month payment. apparently start-up costs + some additional costs required me to pay another $2K to keep the rate at $491. we were able to renegotiate by increasing the trade in value to $7500 and providing some discount on the start up costs, but i still had to pay additional $1584 in order to get the $491 price (this includes the first months payment). dissapointing but i feel there was an honest miscommunication and the dealership tried to accomodate me after they realized the screw up. nevertheless i had to come to the table with and extra $1584 in "hidden" costs in order to get the deal. so left a bad taste in my mouth. mike flemming was great; clearly this was a back office issue. the quality of the car really makes up for the above experience.

Steve J worked hard to get a price that was agreeable to us both. He went the extra mile to get signatures on the contract by driving and hour and a half at 6 am. He delivered what he promised. Mike Fleming delivered the car and took us thru every new detail and explained each and every feature. Made it easy to drive home. Overall Land Rover Sudbury made an often tough experience a very easy and enjoyable one. They really know customer service!

I purchased my first Disco used from Metro West, and found myself dealing with their service department much more than I would have realized. It was always difficult to get a timely appointment, and the commute from Boston was not an easy one. Eventually, the friendly, helpful person I usually dealt with in service left the dealership. Thereafter, it just became an expensive hassle. Finally, after waiting more than two weeks for an appointment and receiving what seemed like an outrageous repair, I called Land Rover Peabody. Their service department was responsive, friendlier and it turned out, much more affordable for maintenance. Much to my delight, I found out that the original salesman whom I dealt with at Metro West, Rusty, was now at the Peabody dealership. Despite my purchase from his former employer, Rusty always takes care of me and sees that the service department does too.

Steve was straight forward and honest. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. Folks were proud of the product but not pushy. The care was in the promised condition when delivered. I was pleased that the folks at the dealership were happy to deal directly with me and did not ask to speak with my husband. The pricing was very fair. All around, it was an easy and pleasant transaction.

This was by far the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had. Mike is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure what I was looking for in a used car, both in options and pricing, were found. Both purchasing and pricing was hassle free. He took the time to make sure to explain all the options to me, and the car was detailed and perfect when I went to pick it up. After this experience, I don't think I will go elsewhere when looking to purchase another car.

Mike was the second sales person I dealt with. The first one didn't give me the time of day and so I sought someone else to deal with. Mike was much better and ultimately made the sale. It did take a long time between when I ordered my Range Rover and when it arrived. I am glad that I wasn't in a hurry!

Great sales experience. Very personal and accommodating in the process. We were able to test drive the car multiple times.Dealer worked hard to find the right color/model configuration and satisfied. We never felt pressure to buy, but found ourselves WANTING to buy the car. Enjoyed interacting with other customers, many of whom were looking for second LR vehicles and all raving about the trucks they already owned. WE did receive some pricing flexibility, which was important to us. We did have to wait for about 30 days for the vehicle to be made/found, but that worked out just fine.The personal delivery of the vehicle to our home with a demonstration of every feature was also VERY much appreciated as we live about a 30 minute drive from the dealer.I look forward to my first service experience in hopes that the quality of that service will match the sales process.

I just purchased a new LR4 from LandRover Sudbury.I needed a 7 seater passenger vehicle so I wanted to see what 7 seaters were available from Mercedes, Audi, Acura and Lexus. Joe Catalano was patient while I looked around at these other vehicles and would just call me every few weeks to see if I had made a decision or if there was anything he could do to help. I have a very busy schedule lately and he was always willing to meet me at any time that was convenient for me. He even offered to bring the LR4 to my house so I could test drive it. He was also very knowledgeable about the differences between the LR3 and the LR4 and spent considerable time showing us how to work all the new stuff. Once I decided on the car, Oliver Souris was extremely helpful in determining the best way to finance the vehicle. I was thinking of leasing until he showed me that buying made much more sense in my situation. I felt like he was treating my money as if it was his own. I wish my investors looked after my money so well ;-)The service at Landrover Sudbury was fantastic when I leased my previous vehicle, an LR3. I also must add I love the improvements in the LR4. The LR4 is clearly quicker and more refined than the LR3. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and well it performed ... the increase in power over the LR3 was quite noticeable, as was the handling. I can't wait to see the off-road changes. The LR4 interior is excellent as well. I love the new interior controls, which are very user friendly.

Everyone there was very helpful! They worked very hard to get us a car that had the options we wanted for the price we wanted. The prices were the best to start with so there was no need to haggle. They were completely up front about the car's history (it was used) and everything that need fixed they covered under warranty. It wasn't the best detailed cleaning, but that is because we were rushing them. I would buy my next Land Rover from them.

I purchased a 2010 sport to replace my Beamer. Got a fair trade in value and all the bells and whistles. Wife also speaks highly of the service department.

I had the BEST experience at Land Rover Sudbury! I was very nervous about buying my first car, but everyone there was so helpful and friendly right from when I walked in the door- the front desk staff were very friendly and polite and greeted me kindly. I felt absolutely no pressure from the salesman Jim and the sales manager Ben, both of whom were amazing to work with. Both Ben and Jim were incredibly knowledgeable and were very helpful in answering my questions and teaching me about my new car. Oliver in the finance department was also very helpful and was able to take care of my financing in a matter of minutes, ensuring that I received the lowest rate possible (much lower than I had expected to receive)! Roy in the service department was very kind and helpful in preparing my new car for delivery and making sure that everything worked properly. He was also very helpful in explaining the maintenance that would be required in the future (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.). Everyone there was great and made my first car purchase very enjoyable! I will definitely return to Land Rover Sudbury, and I will tell all my friends!

The answer as to why is simple; Courteous Hassle Free Sales and Customer Service. This phenomenal customer service is over and above the quality of cars they choose to make available to us all. No one wants to browse through lines of suspect cars. You can tell this dealership is selective about the new and used cars they sell which makes buying decisons so much easier. Add customer service to that and they have the recipe for happy return purchase customers like me.

After a few long months of research I decided to buy a new Land Rover. I had read all kinds of stories on the internet about car buying and what to watch out for. I shopped a few dealers and found the exact car I wanted at Land Rover Metro West in Sudbury, MA. They werent the closest dealer to my house but they had the exact car. I went down to the dealer and they showed me the car and let me go on a drive to see if I liked the car. I already had driven the car with similar options at the other dealers but wanted to go again to make sure. I had researched the price and decided to make an offer a little lower than the prices that I had seen on Edmund's and some other websites. They seemed more eager to sell the car than the other dealers I went to. We agreed on a price and we did the financing paperwork, it was that simple. So far I love my new Land Rover and I am really happy how Land Rover Metro West treated me.

Recently I visited Land Rover Sudbury to find a replacement for my Toyota Landcruiser. When I walked in the door I was greeted by Mike who was very courteous and eager to help me find what I needed. He was very knowledgeable about the product and was able to answer all of my questions. I ended up trading my Landcruiser for a 2010 Range Rover HSE and I couldn't be happier. Mike didn't pressure me and was able to give me a good trade-in price on the Toyota as well. I had a great experience and would recommend this dealer to anyone.

He was very knowledgable about the vehicles and the inventory they had on hand. I contacted LR Sudbury to purchase an LR3 HSE on Friday afternoon. I made a cash offer for the vehicle, which was accepted. I provided them with my Amex number for a deposit (500), as well as full credit info, including SS#. This was to hold the vehicle, as I was paying cash.I wasnt going to trade my current vehicle, but the salesperson encouraged me to at least entertain an offer from the dealership. So I did, and spoke with a salesperson 5 times over the course of the weekend working through the details of the trade.I made plans to pick up the LR3 Tues. I called Monday morning to confirm, as I was driving from NYC, ~200 miles. And LR Sudbury informed me that they had sold the truck to someone else!?!? Even after previously taking my CC info and SS#, and promising me no one would be allowed to even test drive the vehicle, as it was considered sold.Please keep this in mind when dealing with this dealership. I unfortunately thought they were LR salesmen, but underneath it all, everyone is just a car salesmen.

These guys really SUCK! My Range Rover is nearly 20 years old now, mainly due to the fact that I stopped doing business with this dealership. Up until I had left, EVERY year when they performed service, my Rover would fail emissions and would cost me thousands of $$. It would fail again and they'd try to sell me the same repair they had just performed again to resolve the problem. As a result, I found R&R Auto Repair in Medway about 8 years ago and have successfully passed EVERY year, the first time, since Dave there has been performing my maintenance.
