My husband and I have been looking to purchase a camper for about the last three years, but every time we went to a camper dealership we walked away with no satisfaction. At Lee I made a request on line Thursday and they responded right away. We looked at the camper on Saturday, come Tuesday it was on our lot at the campground. I am a very happy camper.

Gave Lee a good reference at 1st trying to win a free payment .... What a laugh bought a Ford Focus 2002 ....SAD , I now drive a 2012 Toyota Corolla from Rockland Ford.. LOVE IT ... I had nothing but trouble with the Focus...... I was told at 1st when I bought from Lee pay a year taken right outta my checking account mind you ...come back n they would put me in something newer better... Oh sorry after 1st year you still owe too much 2nd year same thing ??Before my 3rd year of ownership was up and numerous repairs at my expense... Took it for a front end alignment ... After another repair, the motor blew they sold car for parts $200 but Rpckland Ford got me in a new car paid off 6000 yes 6000 I still owed Lee... All the money I paid Lee on time every month for 2 q 1/2 yrs. I got nothing not even a come here we will help ....had to pay them off was all I was told to stop auto debit Donot buy extended warranty pays nothing ??Nothing ... I see the commercials on TV and cringe brrrr bad experience to say the least !!!!!!

First we went to Lee in Westbrook, we were looking around for 20 min. 3 salesmen standing outside talking to each other, one helping a customer.. And another walked RIGHT by us. No one said a word to us. So we left. Today we went to lee in Saco. A woman helped us. After doing my boyfriends paperwork she said she would need 2000$ before she could tell us what SUVs were available. I asked her about a warranty.. She said if we did the 2 year warranty we would just make more payments then the average 46 months. I asked her how much the 2 year warranty would be..(how many more payments on top for it) she laughed and said she had no idea. So.. Awful customer service in Westbrook. Actually just none. And a grimy sales woman in Saco. She wouldn't even tell us what was available unless we gave her 2000$ first! Seriously? Well go somewhere else, thanks.

M y encounter with Bob White, salesman, was GREAT. Bob made me feel as if we were in my living room and I felt right at home. The atmosphere was laid back and Bob could not have been more cordial to my needs. I felt that I could ask any question and I felt that the answer would be with integrity and honesty. As I walked into lee Auto in Augusta I faced this crazy old man :) bob. I sat in the chair and he did everything he possibly could do to help me out with something I could afford. Nothing was ever to serious it was the joking hanging out relationship I needed which was great. Throwing papers at each other :) not to mention he got me a car he can't even fit in. :p bob looks good in blue!! But I had an amazing time and such an excellent experience I have been telling everyone!!!!!

Me and my wife went in there looking to get into a reliable vehicle. We had no money to put towards our new vehicle. Our current vehicle was falling apart around our ears. We went in there with less than desirable credit in my eyes. 3 hours after we went in, we drove out of there with a 9yo vehicle and a snapshot of my credit score which was better than I expected. Mark and Steve got us into our new vehicle with no money down and a 2 year warranty.

I went to Lee to purchase a new car due to the fact mine got totaled by a guy who had no insurance. I still owe a little money on the car and no place would accept my loan until the other car was paid off. Greg Murphy at Lee in Auburn helped me out so much. He didn't stop trying until a bank was willing to accept me. I now have a brand new Dodge Avenger and LOVE it! Greg made our experience easy and stress free. We went in with the mindset that we would not be approved or be able to afford a vehicle and drove out of the lot a few hours later in a vehicle which we never would have thought we could get. Excellent experience. Greg and Kyle were extremely helpful and we did not feel pressured at all like at some other dealerships.

I honestly did not think I would be able to be a new car owner and at the risk of sounding hokey, Bob and Troy truly made the impossible possible. I have a good job but part of my income is from self employment. I'm an independent dental hygienist who offers low cost preventative dental care so that dental cleanings are accessible to everyone especially kids. That coupled with a low credit score didn't leave me too confident that I would be able to purchase a much needed 4 wheel drive vehicle. My trade in was a 2001 Toyota camery that I put alot of miles on over this summer going back and forth to Boston for my mom's cancer treatments.(I'm happy to say she's beating it!) And I really didn't want to have to go through another winter backing the 300yrds up my curvy steep driveway. I decided to meet with Bob because I had seen a particular vehicle on your website that I had test drove earlier in the week at a different, local dealership. I must say that dealership was extremely aggressive and made alot of promises that only led to disappointment. My boyfriend bought a polaris razor from your Ellsworth store 2 weeks ago and had NO credit so I figured it was worth a try. There was no unwanted pressure. I was able to walk around the lot and look at each vehicle I was intrested in without someone in my face. The car I was interested in was not at this particular lot but there were quite a few suv's that appealed to me. I did paperwork with Bob and spent the next 15 minutes in my car waiting to see what and IF I would qualify for a loan. To my absolute surprise Bob came out to say they had a bank that would work with me! I had told him what I was looking for and he showed me the Hyundai Veracruz. I was a little skeptical-Hyundai has the stereotype of being a "disposable" car (ironically my 1st car loan was for a 1987 Hyundai). Bob will say it was the heated seats that sold the car but the fact is that the price was right at fair market value. I really appreciate that your cars aren't overpriced. I took a test drive and loved the car! We went through the numbers and although the payments were going to be a little higher than I was originally hoping, I also know you get what you pay for. Then things got stressful. The original bank did not want to work with me because I have income from self-employment. Troy worked relentlessly-combing through my bank statements and talking back and forth with your finance department. Of course I was starting to freak out because I knew disappointment was coming. I think Bob could sense my unease-I had been there going on 3 hours. I really appreciated that Bob kept me in the loop as to what was going on and when it looked like there was a possibility I would have to be there another couple hours he offered to give me a loaner to go home to chill and we would finish up on Saturday. Needless to say I was REALLY freaking out now. Bob was outside bringing the loaner around when my boyfriend texted to say "If it's meant to be it will work out." at the same time Troy came out to say the car was mine but unfortunately they had to drop the price $1000 and the payments would be LESS than if we went through the original bank! Hooray! Overall the day was pretty stressful but only because of what I brought to your people to work with. I'm so grateful for my new to me car but even more grateful for your excellent staff that went above and beyond what I expected. Bob was easy going and really did a good job keeping me calm. Troy worked miracles showing that my income really is sufficient and steady. My only issue is that with the bank we ended up going with I'm not able to have my payments made directly from my paycheck. I get the reasoning and am still extremely grateful for the financing so I've already figured out how to work that aspect out. I pinched myself the whole way home and still can't believe I have a much needed safe and reliable vehicle that all I want to do is drive! Joe got us set up with a 2016 Toyota Tocoma with all the extra's that we needed to make our traveling a comfortable experience . The waiting area is a lovely , spacious & comfortable - if you have to wait for any reason. Very pleasant experience all the way around !!!!

Well this is my third vehicle but definitely the newest and the nicest. I went in a few times kinda just strolling around not really sure what I was looking for. I knew I wanted a standard so I could learn and get better athan driving a manual transmission, had the basic concept but never been able to put it to use. So I've been in a few times kind of just strolling around looking at what lee credit express in augusta had and the first time I was there I was looking at one of the 2014 dodge avengers they had and well for one, I've always loved dodge. Theven reason I didn't get it was cause I didn't think I could afford it at the time. So just recently my previous car was a 1998 subaru forester and it was having some issues. So I went in just a couple days ago and was looking around again. I happened to ask Bob if he had any standards while he was working on the paperwork and I spotted this 2007 Mazda3 and I fell in love with it. Kept going back every day for like 3 or 4 days to keep up with the process and before I knew it Bob had me behind the wheel of that new car and he did it with some of the best customer service and professionalism that I've seen in a while. Everyone there is very friendly and easy going and want to help you the best way possible. Bob got me in my new Mazda and was determined to help me out. In July I was headed home early from work with a killer migraine headache and as I was headed down 295 South I saw a beautiful doe standing on the side of the interstate. Just watching cars pass I thought to myself how lucky I am to live in Maine with all this beautiful wildlife... and then she took that first step that lead me to Lee. She faked me out with a step back towards the woods and then bolted into my passenger side headlight and tumbled down the entire passenger side of my 2008 Scion... totaling the car. My headache was, not surprisingly, now much worse.I was in a panic, I hadn't even finished paying off this car and now it's totaled... not to mention my insurance company wasn't going to give me enough money to cover what I owed on the car. So after being car-less for about a week I decided to take my chances and go car hunting. I have college loans I am paying for and now had a remaining balance on a car that was worth pretty much nothing... I wasn't seeing this adventure going very well.My Step-Dad suggested I try Lee in Augusta. He and my Mom had purchased around 10 vehicles from them and he thought they would for sure be able to help me out. So, we walk in.. and there is Bob. Smiling, happy.. super friendly. We sat down and I laid it all out on the table for him up front, assuming I'd get the typical answer of "Well, there's probably no way we can get you financed with all that going on." But no, Bob was confident.. took my application into the finance office as I headed outside to wait on the verdict. Now, I was willing to take pretty much whatever they could sell me since I do have a full time job and travel 35 minutes from Topsham to Augusta and back at least five days a week, but I did have some unique requests. I obviously had the typical request of good gas mileage because of my daily travel for work.. but also because I am a competitive bowler, a 2014 National Champion to be exact, so I am headed out of town almost every weekend to compete. Now, most cars that have great gas mileage come with the downfall of being pretty small.. and that wasn't going to work. You see, not only am I a competitive bowler, my boyfriend is as well... along with being 6'4". So, not only did I need to be able to not have to spend all of my prize money on gas, I need to fit my seven 15 pound bowling balls in the car and I need to have room for my 6'4" boyfriend and his 10 to 12 bowling balls as well! With our Scion we pretty much took the best looking/running car on the lot from a "Buy Here Pay Here" place because we were in a pinch and just dealt with him not being super comfortable during travel and practically bottoming out from the 250+ pounds of bowling equipment in the back. Not to mention I am a former collegiate ice hockey player and get back on the ice occasionally so that gigantic bag of gear and three hockey sticks needs to fit as well. I was nervous awaiting the answer from the finance department. I poked around the lot looking at the lower end vehicles that I figured were in my future... and then Bob came out with an even bigger smile than when I first met him. He pointed out a 2013 Chrysler 200 and asked what I thought of it. It was beautiful, but I was nervous that my hopes were getting too high. He had me take it for a text drive, and of course I loved it. It was like new, it ran so smooth, I felt so fancy with the actual "face clock" in the dash instead of digital. When I returned from my test drive there was Bob, smiling yet again. "Do you want to take it home?" Uh, DUH! Of course I do! And as simple as that, it was mine. I can not tell you how easy my vehicle purchase at Lee Augusta was. Even the other salesmen I chatted with while waiting for the final paperwork were great. It was close to closing when we finished everything up but nobody was running for the door, hoping to not get trapped with a last minute customer, like in most dealerships. It was hassle free, super friendly environment, and I left with a beautiful car that could accommodate myself, my tall boyfriend and all of our championship needs. THANK YOU BOB! Bought a fairly new car from them with remainder of factory warranty and purchased extended warranty, brought car in 5 times while under warranty for same problem only to be put off till warranties expired, no have same issue with car and they say it's no longer their problem cause warranties are expired. Had car been fixed when I brought it in one of the first five times, would not be stuck in current situation. Had to get Attorney General involved just to get some service. Car is through a bank so dealership got paid for car than just writes you off.

When I walked into the Saco location I had my mind set on buying a "new" car. I was greeted by Mark who is a Sales Consultant and he was very welcoming right off. He asked how he could help me. I advised him that I was looking to purchase a "new" car and he said he would be very happy to assist me with finding the right vehicle for my needs. So we did the credit app and I was not approved..... I kind of knew that was going to happen, however I advised him that I do have a co-signer. So we called my co-signer and got all of the required information but unfortunately he wasn't approved either. So when Steve the manager came out to talk with me, I was a little bummed and left the dealership in hopes that I would go somewhere else to get a "new" vehicle but unfortunately was not approved anywhere else. So a couple of days went by and my phone rang and it was Mark from Lee Auto advising me that they finally got me approved and wanted to sit down and talk with me. I was super excited and drove into the dealership. I found the vehicle I wanted and we went to pick it up in Auburn. I drove it back to the Saco store and signed the papers. Words can not express how truly grateful I am to have had the chance to work with Mark and Steve from the Saco Lee Auto location. They went to work for me and went to work hard! I have never been treated so kindly and fairly as I was with Mark and Steve. David Lovering has to be the worst salesman I've ever had. He made it seem like a hassle to bring other cars to the dealership for me to drive, and was rude to me because of my credit score. I ended up choosing a 2013 ford focus se. He didn't detail the car at all or get the touch up paint I needed (which isn't for public sale) and it was missing the back floor mats. Not 2 days after I brought it home, the transmission starts slipping. Would have been nice to know before hand. Anyway, I get a hold some lady at the office and made an appointment for the following Monday. The next day I had to cancel it and reschedule the appointment for the following Thursday during the same phone call. I called later on in the week to confirm said appointment, at which time they told me they only has record of my cancellation.... I had to fight with them to get in at my appointment time. The entire thing was a mess.. Until I met Greg. He's the manager for the Lewiston and Auburn branch. He completely took over and has been wonderful to deal with. Everything I've complained about above has been resolved. My car was sent to ford to be reprogrammed and a replacement clutch was ordered. Greg went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction as a customer.

At one point on Tuesday Garrett offered to drive the car to Nobleboro for us and finish the deal there because he knew that my wife had just received some cortisone shots in her back on Monday afternoon and was not feeling quite herself Tuesday morning!!! I thought this went WELL beyond the call of duty and I had a mental Wow echoing silently in my brain for a while!! A pleasant and welcome change in our car buying experience! Thank you Garrett! I'll definitely by thinking of Lee Auto Mall on my next purchase!!!!

It is very comforting driving into the little lot in Norway, knowing that whether my need is for service, or the purchase of a vehicle, that need will be taken care of. This past weekend was another great example of that courtesy and care I have come to expect from Lee Norway. I was able to make one phone call to John Westleigh, with an interest in a car at another lot. John was able to have the car in Norway for the agreed upon date and time, as well as have all paperwork ready to go. With my trade having been serviced there since being purchased over 3 years ago, John and Tom (service manager) knew the history and status of my car, and John was able to offer a very equitable trade amount.

My wife and I went to Lee Credit Express in Auburn hoping to get a vehicle to replace my 2000 Ford F-150 that had just failed for a sticker. Albeit that David Lovering was the only person in that particular showroom, he didn't shy away from an opportunity to talk to two potential customers, late in the day. Of all vehicles I have purchased, David has been the only salesman that actually listened to our needs/wants, and seemed to want to go to work for us. His drive to help us is most certainly the reason we found a vehicle we liked, and didn't hesitate to pull the trigger on making a deal. In fact, he helped us replace both vehicles with two new(er) vehicles. Non-pressuring, patient, friendly, and no B.S.- those are qualities that Dave Lovering has, and displayed, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Bob has a special quality that makes him shine when you enter the room. He greets you with his eyes and without saying a word you are welcomed upon your arrival. This was my experience with purchasing my new vehicle on 1/23/2015. Bob was able to assist me with exploring my choices and options clearly and with ease. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. But dealing with Bob White was most excellent! He made this process super easy! The stress of it all (self induced I must say! LOL) was gone once Bob explained the buying process. I am now IN LOVE with my little Red Roadster and I have only had it a week. I checked with Lee before purchasing another vehicle I was interested in as they had done well for us with a prior purchase of a 2007 Explorer SportTrac for my wife. They were able to locate twoi vehicles similar to the one I was considering, and get them to the dealership for me to examine and test drive. I selected the 2007 Jeep Compass as a nicer ride and well suited to my needs for a 4WD commuter, and the dealership put in significant effort to help me get financed to buy the vehicle immediately, as I needed transportation to work very quickly.

I bought a vehicle at Lee auto in Saco Maine and this is the 3rd junk vehicle they sold to me and way overpriced at that. This last vehicle hashad nnumerous issues. When the AC compressor went they did want to cover it under warranty. Now i find the underneath is completely rotted out and the cost of all 4 brake assemblies is over 1800 dollars not including the leaking hub and other issues underneath. I only had this vehicle for a year. The other 2 junk vehicles they sold me didn't even last 2 months but yet they are so eager and bothersome when it comes time for payment. Stay away from Lee auto they are the biggest rip off.

He worked hard to help us get financed and even had a driver bring the truck down from Bangor for us. I purchased a vehicle from Lee Credit Now in Oakland, Maine. I was treated great from start to finish. The problem is, 3 weeks after I purchased, the a/c compressor went. They hemmed and hawed about fixing it for me (the warranty had just run out). I was told the part wasn't normally covered under warranty, but since I had only had the car a month, they would "go good" for it. My a/c hasn't worked since it supposedly got fixed at Ace Tire in Waterville, Maine. The day I purchased the car, I was told there was only ONE lender willing to work with me and they would be charging me $317 a month. At the time, I thought I could handle it. Now I'm finding that it's getting harder, and I think that someone knew that I wouldn't be able to make that payment. Now my credit is on the line because of some company that wanted to make a sale and take advantage of a single woman. I will not recommend Lee Credit Now to anyone. A rip off company at best.

A few days ago, we were told that if the person co signing with me brought in the paperwork to show pay stub and proof that we were already approved. We were excited! So we went in today, and I took time away from work to do this. They messed up because at first I couldn't get in with the cosigner, so he was like I'll just apply on my own and the agent named Sarah let him. Didn't tell him there was a law that prevented that and made us ineligible for application for 30 more days. We spent HOURS trying to resolve this, they pretended to work with us. Gave us false sympathy. They just wanted money and we weren't bringing it in for them. In the end we left while they are still waiting for banks to call back. I called the store manager named Greg, and I talked to him, was mad so I demanded to know why it went down the way it did. I told him we as customers do not know laws and the agent Sarah should have told us! She didn't! She lied and said multiple times we were approved, and then he was all you were never 100% approved and waiting a months doesn't guarantee you anything. So we wasted hours out of our day, I have a splitting headache and no car to show for all the trouble. This is Lee Auto Express in Auburn I am talking about. Don't waste your time, they lack basic law knowledge, and the true customer service that I was expecting. WORST AUTO EXPERIENCE EVER!!!Avoid them!

I recently purchased a used pickup at the Norway location after talking with salesman Al Stowell. It was a unexpectedly painless experience...zero pressure from Al, he was knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I experienced an immediate problem after purchase and the issue was taken care of quickly and to my satisfaction. The whole staff was friendly and interested in my happiness. It worth talking with Al and visiting the Norway location if you are looking for a good used vehicle.

She listened to the story behind our credit, went to bat for us, and in the end, got us approved with in-house financing for the vehicle we wanted. I made my first visit to Lee Nissan Topsham on Friday, 11/8/2013. I had begun looking at vehicles a few weeks earlier and knew that I would be faced with some new challenges in terms of financing. My credit was badly damaged during my divorce and I had no experience with sub-prime financing as all of my prior vehicle purchases had been made using conventional lending. Needless to say, I was nervous about what I would be faced with. My first contact at Lee was with salesman Scott Clement. Scott was friendly and professional and was very helpful in beginning the process of selecting a vehicle that would fit my needs and my budget based on my situation. We discussed my income information, got a financing approval and I took a test drive in a 2012 Toyota Camry. A week or so later I decided I was ready to make my purchase. I went into the dealership on 11/20/2013 and worked with sales manager Dean Walker as Scott was off that evening. I brought with me all of the documentation needed for the purchase and the process was very quick and easy. I test drove and selected a 2012 Camry, traded in my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica which I owner outright and provided an additional $1,000 down payment, was quickly walked through the paperwork and told I was approved for financing through Capital One and I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. I was happy with my vehicle and felt fortunate to have the opportunity to begin rebuilding my credit while paying for it. Nine days later on 11/29 I received a call from Scott at the dealership. He had received notification from Capital One requesting further documentation of my income. This didn't come as a huge surprise to me as I work two jobs and co-own a property rental business and in addition receive child support payments and separate maintenance. I was a bit concerned when Scott told me that my financing application had been flagged to Capital One's fraud department. This was confusing to me as Dean had told me my financing had been approved.but also knew my income was not simple and straight forward and I was willing and prepared to provide any documentation requested so this could be quickly resolved. I left work early that day and went to the dealership so that I could provide the six month's of bank statements Capital One had requested. I even sat down and highlighted my payroll transactions in an effort to make anything in question a little easier to decipher. Scott was once again friendly and helpful and willing to answer any questions I had and after my conversation with him I was confident everything had been resolved. I heard nothing more from Lee, so on 12/2 I was getting ready to register my vehicle so I decided to email Dean to make sure everything had been squared away with Lee and Capital One. I received an abrupt email back from him telling me that in order to "keep me in the car" he needed additional documentation. This was really alarming to me as I had no idea that there was a possibility I wouldn't be able to "stay" in my car. I had promptly submitted to any and all requests Lee had made for financial documentation and was communicative and cooperative throughout the whole process. I was left wondering why Dean had allowed me trade in my vehicle and leave the lot with a new one if my financing was not fully in place, as it had become clear to me that it was not. I talked to my parents about what was happening and they encouraged me to secure financing through my credit union and offered to co-sign if needed. I emailed to Dean to let him know and requested the payoff amount on the vehicle so I could put in my loan application at my credit union. Dean refused to tell me what the payoff amount was and told me that he was "stuck with me driving around in a free car" and went on to threaten legal action against me (again, this was said in an email which I have saved). I had done nothing to this point to warrant that kind of response from him. I had gone above and beyond to be cooperative and resolve any issues that had arisen with Capital One and when I finally exhausted myself doing that, I secured financing on my own to remedy the situation. I was absolutely insulted by how I was treated by Dean Walker. What began as a really positive buying experience ended as a negative and degrading one. In the end, I financed the vehicle through my credit union and went back to the dealership to complete the revised paperwork as necessary. To be perfectly honest, I never wanted to walk back into that dealership again after the way I was treated by Dean and after my last visit I never plan to. After my experience I would never be able to recommend Lee to anyone interested in making a vehicle purchase. As a business owner myself, I know what value a strong professional reputation holds and believe in giving others the opportunity to make things right. I hope this information is helpful to Lee in improving the service their dealership provides so that future experiences like mine can be prevented.

I had been to a few car dealerships before I purchased my truck and the sales people were not as nice and helpful that Lee Auto Mall in Auburn was. I had bad credit from my past however a good paying job for the last two years. I needed a car BAD and was pointed to Lee Credit Express in Lewiston a few towns from where i live. I worked with the Store Manager, Kyle Hamel. Kyle listened to my budget and credit concerns and in two days had me in the car I wished for. I know for every good car experence story out there, there are five scary one's HOWEVER not with Kyle Hamel!!! Just go in and talk to him... I'm SUPER HAPPY I did!! I went into this knowing I would not get great terms, etc. due to credit issues, but Will was absolutely great to deal with. Not what I was expecting. They know you are there for a reason and listen to your needs and work very hard to make sure you are satisfied. I will definitely recommend Lee Credit Express to anyone with damaged credit needing a good quality car with a great warranty and no hassles! Hopefully I will not need to use the credit express next time, but I'll certainly go back to Lee!

Lee Auto is by far THE BEST car dealer in all of Maine!!! I tell anyone who is willing to listen. In fact my friend, James, bought a truck from them in a different location after hearing from me how great their customer service was. From the moment I applied online until I drove off the lot in my gorgeous used 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible it was only 7 and a half hours!!! NO KIDDING!!! Every person along the way was extremely customer service focused, from the young lady who called me about my online application to Toby Pinkham, the manager of the Lewiston location. They even drove my car up from another lot to have it ready for me when I got out of work. There is no better sales person at Lee Auto than Toby Pinkham at the Lewiston location. He was incredibly helpful and a genuinely nice person to deal with. He clearly loves his job and enjoys helping people find the cars they need. Whenever I stop by, he always remembers me by name. His branch is small but he does a large volume of business in this location and it is all because he really listens to his customers and finds what they need from the hundreds and hundreds of cars in the Lee Auto fleet of cars and trucks. It's amazing. They can truly find you almost anything you could want or ask for in a vehicle. I don't believe any other car dealer in the state of Maine can claim to have as many options as they do. They can also help almost ANYONE with financing. I am full-time employee and a part-time student but my credit is not pristine. They were able to work with me to find the financing I needed. They are SPECTACULAR!!! Toby has moved to the Newport, Maine location since I purchased my car a year ago, so if you need a car, go to the Newport location on 25 Moosehead Trail and ask for Toby (it's only about an hour and 20 minutes from Lewiston-nice, relaxing scenic drive and Toby is worth it!!!!). went in with no credit, prior bankruptcy, and $500 to my name...the nicest young man had all my answers ,explained step by step how the process would be and asked if i wanted to wait the time or come back , i waited and it was worth it. He was a very friendly and informative individual. I felt safe right off. He showed me a couple of vehicles and asked which one i would like and test drive..i test drived a couple and decided on the Hyundi Elantra..beautiful Silver dream. i had a 1993 Saturn that was beyond my ability to repair and he took it in trade . i had the vehicle for many years and will miss it terribly. But, the hyundi is so great to see and even greater to drive..i feel safe that i know my car wont break down while i drive. In less then 2 hours i was on my way home, bank loan approved, forms completed, license plates off the old and on the new, and he even put gas in the new vehicle for me..He is excellent at his job, he is person friendly and has a sincere attitude. Excellent experience. Professional and personable staff throughout entire dealership. After a day of searching, a welcome relief. Our salesperson was helpful, but never pushy. We felt helped through the process at every step; had all aspects of the transaction explained clearly and realistically to us. All in all, one of the best car buying experiences I have had. Well after a few minutes of looking around the lot at vehicles, Frank came out and asked us if we needed help. I mentioned what i had for trade and down payment, and that i also had seen a white tahoe at the Saco location I wanted to go for. to make a long story short he was extremely helpful and even drove the vehicle to Westbrook so i could test drive and purchase the vehicle. I highly recommend Frank as he is very courteous and not overly pushy. If there was a 5 star option for the salesman only it would be a 5.

In 2009 I bought a 97 Dodge pickup truck from Toby in the Augusta store the service was real good. I couldn't ask for any better. I needed a car this year so I called Toby and asked if he had a car that would cet me good gas milage. Toby said he did so we met up with him and did buisness. Barry was great and informative, I initially stopped in a few weeks before I actually bought my car. He told me exactly what I would need. When I returned it went exactly as he told me it would go. Toby was great too, but he had to answer the phones alot, so his undivided attention was not possible, he gave it his all though.Both men are great employees.

We spoke at length with the contact person, Dwight, who was very helpful. The car we wanted to see was in Saco and we wanted to travel no further than Augusta so he arranged for the vehicle to be driven to the Augusta location, an accommodation that made the sale. The price of the vehicle and the amount of trade-in was much better than other dealerships...the "crew" went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience and deal. He helped out with finding insurance which took a lot of stress from me trying to find a company with resonable price for a new driver. Had a good expeience, The car i chose has a sway in the rear end and i took it back a day later, they set me up with a excellent loaner car, and fixed mine in 2 days time, works fine. Loves the 60day warranty and the ability to take out an extended warranty on the car. Frank and his manager Mike were terrific to deal with! After a very small glitch in my original vehicle I looked at, they got me into my current vehicle in a very short period of time. This is the second car I have bought from Lee Credit in Newport, Maine. Barry was able to find the vehicle I wanted at the price I needed! While I did have to wait longer to get into my vehicle because of financing issues related to my credit, Barry stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. I was in a car accident on Friday, April 1, 2011. I needed a car, due to the fact that I have 2 disabled children under the age of 8 that I have to transport to appointments. My car was said to be totalled. I went on line and filled out a form on a vehicle I saw. I was texted first within the first 20 minutes of doing the form. The next day I was called and paper work was started to get me into a car. On Monday I was called and told that I was accepted to get a car or the vehicle of my choice. I was so shocked and excited that I took a cab to go look at a car. I was greeted by Tony Pinkham of the Lewiston Credit Express. He treated me like I was important and he cared about my situation. He asked me which car I might be interested in, got the car ready and let me take it for a test drive. Needless to say I ended up with the first car I tried out and the only car I tried out. It was all that I was looking for. Tony did the paper work, we filled it out, he handed me the keys, took out the 14 day plates, shook hands and told me he was glad that I made the right choice for myself. It was nice to have someone that cared about me and the situation I was in, not just the money factor and getting rid of a car.

We called Lee's general 1800 number and spoke to a girl named Tysa who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped us with finding the best location for us and made the appointment. When we arrived we met Mike. Mike was very nice not pushy or demanding, has a great personality was just very easy to talk to. Mike asked us what we were looking for and we told him and right away he knew exactly what he had for us. We bought an Avalanch. Mike took all our information pay stubs, references etc and said he would have the finance team look at everything and get it sent to the bank and get the truck up here the next day. To my surprise Kyle(Fiance) called the next MORNING I sent him a few more documents that he needed and within 2 hours the truck was up here and we were test driving it. We ended up liking it and Kyle was able to work out the details so were in the price range for payments that we wanted and that we were happy with the truck. From the time we walked in till the last document was singed we were treated awesome and we had a great expeirence. They helped us get into a new car for the payment we were happy with and they treated us so well. I would recomend this dealership to anyone and we will deffenitly be back to see them in the future.

I bought a 1998 Cheverolet Malibu from Lee 2 1/2 years ago, and it was recently totalled in an accident. The other driver totally at fault. The first time I went to Lee I had the pleasure of dealing with Barry and Steve Whitmore. Steve has since moved out of Maine and when I decided to go to Lee to get another vehicle, I was glad that Barry was still there. Barry always goes above and beyond to help and has always made me feel welcome and at home. i was in a real jam my car had blown the motor and i needed a car asap. and did not have very good credit or alot of money to put down so i went into the saco lee and i felt like i had walked into my family's house. they were very friendly and professional. my salesmen Jason was very knowledgable to what i was looking for and treated me like a person not a ticket from a meat counter. i have been to other dealer in the past and have never felt that i was anything but a check for those people and with jason i felt like i really mattered as a person. it did not take long at all i was there about 2.5 hours total and had a car i really love at a price i can afford and awesome people to help me. I lost the transmission on my car and needed a vehicle fast. I called Lee Credit in Newport and talked with Barry which I told him I wanted a van which they had on the lot. I got there and Barry took some information and then showed me the van which I text drove. We put in the paper work and I did not believe that I would have gotten the loan for the van, but I did. Barry and the team at Lee Credit were very very helpful and I will go there again for a vehicle. Barry knew just what I wanted and the price was right. Barry was not pushy which I really liked and he just waited for me to make the decision on if I wanted the van or not. I could have been there after hours I think and they would have still waited for me to deside. I have recieved thank you letters from Barry which I did not expect. We have had alot of diffrent dealerships that we have been through the last one had been a week before we went to lee they were the worst i had been too. we went to lee in saco just to look and when we were there they asked us what price we wanted to stay within and asked if we liked the car told us to try it out the jason did not go with us we tried it out and while we were trying it they were getting the load together they got us set in the price we could afford and a car that will last a while. they were just like family we were there just two hours when we walked out with the new car. they are very friendly in lee in saco

Barry was great in dealing with my neice. He was friendly and couteous and gave her multiple vehicles to choose from. He knew what she had to spend and didn't pressure her to purchase beyond her means. Used Ford Touris 2003 real good service waited on use with curour car need a new exhaust Lees put it on with no problem.We got good service from the garage dept with no problem. The fuel sensor went bad several times and Lees replaced it twice.The sales man was really good.

I had bought a 2008 Grand Prix from this location close to a year ago. When I arrived at the lot, I was greeted by a sales professional that did not attempt to instantly pressure me into a sale. They listened to what my needs were, and gave me suggestions to help me make a choice out of the inventory. They worked with me and my bank to find an appropriate vehicle for my budget. This was my first time buying a vehicle for myself, but they made it easier to provide me with my new car. To this day, I'm still happy with the Grand Prix. It performs well, and is exactly what I need for my travel heavy lifestyle.

Lee has 17 dealerships in Maine. If you shop online and find a vehicle you like, they will deliver it to the nearest dealership for you to test drive. I live in Auburn, and they delivered the used vehicle I wanted to Lee Credit Express in Lewiston, not the Lee dealership in Auburn, whom I had worked with before. However, the staff in Lewiston seems just as nice and the salesman even hand washed and waxed the truck for me the night before my scheduled test drive. He was even so kind as to park it in their garage over night as it had been raining for two days straight. When it came to brass tax I was a little disappointed; the salesman would not budge very much on the price of the used truck and I feel as though I could have possibly done slightly better somewhere else. But on the other hand, a cheaper price sometimes comes with a price later on down the road.

Great experience. I would highly recommend this dealership to my family and friends. I had seen the vehicle on-line. The interior was quite dirty. When I picked up the vehicle, they had completely cleaned it. For a 2003 it looks brand new and runs great.
