Val was great to work with when our current lease was coming due. He presented all the options and recommended the one that saved us $60/month from our current lease. The 2021 RX is the best Rx we have ever owned. John answered all our questions on the lease agreement and helped us with the protection extras we needed. The Wayzata dealership was beautiful. The burning fire pit out front is welcoming and an unexpected treasure. We were greeted immediately. Our salesman Russell was awesome and saw us through the whole process of buying a car. Russell was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We drove all the way from Kansas City to buy a car from him because he had a great attitude on the phone. We will definitely ask for Russell again in the future of buying another car. I originally picked Jan from pictures of the sales staff online. She had that girl next door/ honest look. I called and set a future time with her, letting her know the Lexus model I was interested in. She was helpful, and understanding of my time frame. During the ordering process I now know that Jan was aware that I probably wasn't sure of my choice.Several weeks later I called Jan to let her know I had changed my mind on the features I wanted.She was understanding, and efficient in turning things around quicly for me! I was in my new Lexus that same week! I am extremely pleased with my choice of purchasing a Lexus, and the staff at Lexus Wayzata are extremely friendly and efficient. This is my fourth certified pre-owned Lexus R350 purchased from Ignacio Garrigos at Lexus of Wayzata, MN. I can't imagine buying a vehicle from anyone else; Ignacio is very knowledgeable, extremely courteous and fair, and just a joy to work with. He has become a friend. Ignacio knows the Lexus line very well and tries very hard to fit you with just the right car. This is a huge purchase for me and I have my share of 'should I - shouldn't I' 's and Ignacio walks right along with me for however long it takes. There is never any pressure and I walk away knowing that I absolutely made the right decision. Lexus of Wayzata is extremely fortunate to have him as are all of us Lexus customers out there. Jean Oberg was also excellent - I believe she is a delivery specialist. Jean really knows the 350 and even though I've driven them before, there is always something new to learn. She really made it fun.

I met Stacy about 5 months ago when I was at the dealership, he introduced himself, asked if he could help me and I indicated that at a future date I would be looking for a used LS430 or other Lexus when my 430 LS was sold. Stacy maintained contact over the months, checking in with emails to see if the car had sold. When it did sell in late October he called as a follow up to my online inquiry and indicated he had a vehicle he thought I might be interested in. We drove down to the dealership went for a test drive and I loved the ES350 that he was showing to us. With a minimum of discussion a price was arrived at and we were the proud owners of our new ES350 Ultra!. The dealership had final details to do so we picked up the next day. We had one minor service issue that we hadn't noticed on the test drive and Stacy arranged to have it repaired at the dealerships cost and they provided us with a 2016 loaner...Stacy was so professional and caring when dealing with us and I am sure he will follow-up with us over the years to check when we are ready to re-purchase again. Thanks again for the great service. We will have the car continue to be service by Lexus of Wayzata as we are very happy with the service that has been provided. I don't believe you could find a friendlier and more caring dealership in the Metro area. Thanks again.

As a Lexus owner since my first 1999GS, 2006GS and now 2014RX. It is very unfortunate that a sales rep who was with the dealership for a short time lied to me about our lease numbers.In a attempt to work with the dealership we went down and worked with Mike Dalton and we were talked down to as if we were idiots. In the end this dealership lost Lexus a life long customer over $5,000.$5,000 very small sum of money for a 34 year old who would be a Lexus driver for the next hopefully 30 years. I did not expect this dealership or Mike to actually work with us to come up with a satisfactory solution after our initial visit. It is just disheartening that a sales rep who was with the dealership for a short amount of time did not explain the basics of the deal and left us with a buy out number two years ago that we honestly believed to be true. Then to work with Mike and get treated the way we did caused us to make the decision to never again purchase a Lexus. Mike if you ever read this I hope you take a look at how you present yourself and talk to customers. I hold no ill feelings towards you. It's just the lack of respect and then unwillingness to work with us to come up with a satisfactory deal that would make both sides feel good is really unbelievable In the last 16 years I have spent $130,000 on Lexus vehicles and now Lexus has lost a life long customer over 3.8461538461538463% of the amount I have spent at Lexus in my short 34 years on this planet. This who situation is is rather absurd. but with car sales men one can expect nothing but the worst type of person... Something that Mike has shown to be true.

I bought my first Lexus in October. It is a 2016 ES350. I have never driven a car this comfortable in my life. I don't have a Lexus dealership where I live and was leary of buying a car 250 miles away in case the car ever needed service. Gerald Franti is my sales rep. He spoke to me at length of the service Lexus provides to everyone and that I would be well taken care of if my car had any problems (although problems are very unlikely). He is very detailed and excellent to work with. I was very specific about what I wanted in a car (color, trim and package level, rims, ride quality etc..). Gerald delivered on everything! I got everything I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I am very happy with the purchase so far. He kept me informed every step of the way. Make sure you do your homework before you go there. They will under offer you for your trade in Making a customer feel stupid during the buying process. Not much of a discount or deal offered off The MSRP. Telling me to do my homework when I already had done mine. Salesperson should have done more questioning on his buyer to know who he was dealing with. Maybe they should know more about vehicles other than Lexus as to what the value is. Guess they didn't need the sale that day. Not likely to go back there.

We have only good things to say about this dealership. We have worked only with Val Udermannsince our first ES back in 2003. We know he will listen to us and try his best to get us a good dealon a new vehicle. People who buy used vehicles out of warranty should know that they are exceptinga risk for any future mishaps---I would never buy a used vehicle that I could not check up on it'sservice records. Even an LS can be used on a drag strip and be abused ! If you don't or can't verifya car's history, be smart and buy that "peace-of-mind" extended warranty. Please don't expect anycar dealership to stand behind an older Lexus, unless they themselves are confident enough them-selves to Certify it. Just wanted to give a shout out to our good friend, Val Udermann, he is great!!

I have a 2007 Lexus LS460 L that had an internal engine valve failure at 76000 miles. This dealer originally told me that it would be $15,000 to fix. I asked how this could happen?????? "It's just bad engine valve failure of valve number six. Maybe we can get a kit to fix it and it will only be about $6,800." After I said, "No way! The dealership submitted the claim to the regional office who also will not stand behind their product! What kind of car company would not stand behind a premium luxury car? They did offer to help commit insurance fraud by offering to sell us a warranty then wait a few months to see if it would be covered. Do not buy a Lexus - the quality is terrible anymore. More importantly DO NOT trust this dealer!!!!!!!

Doug is knowledgeable and clear when explaining how my 2010 HS 250h will be serviced and he is never too busy to take calls. Last week I took my baby in for a due oil change and at same time decided to let Celeste know that there is a bit of squealing when breaking. It took mechanic just a bit over an hour to diagnose a problem. I was offered a loaner and was out the door in next 15 minutes. My vehicle was ready the next day. Mike sent in detailed quote for 2013 RX350s but the price was north of $600/month! As a response to my comment , " The offer you gave me on a certified Lexus is much higher then what I can secure on a new Lexus lease!" I got "Would then consider a new Lexus RX350 lease."

Worked with Jake Blomquist for purchase/lease of a new Lexus. Throughout the process he was fantastic at making the deal happen. He outlined many different finance options and you knew where every dollar was coming from and going. He was extremely responsive and made the deal happen in a timely manner. There was never a time where I felt Lexus of Wayzata was being dishonest, not forthcoming about issues, or trying to get more money out of the deal. My experience at Lexus of Wayzata is different than at other luxury dealerships in the twin cities where I felt my best interests and financial well being were not their priority. Everyone at Lexus seemed honest and down to earth, versus my experiences at other dealerships where they acted like they were doing me a favor. Overall I would highly recommend Jake Blomquist and Lexus of Wayzata.

You can spend a lot of your time running around shopping cars all around town. Or.. you can deal with Dave Skeens at Lexus Wayzata and save yourself both time and money. This guy is wonderful to deal with!! Every little detail he seems to know. He is honest, trustworthy and a pros pro. I was pointed to this dealership via a referral, specifically, I was referred to Greg Loop. He took an educational approach as it was my first time shopping for a Lexus. He helped me become familiar with their lineup and how they compared to other luxury brands. I live in Chicago now after living in Minneapolis for over 20 years. Shopping for a new car at the Lexus dealership nearby was amazingly frustrating. When visiting in Mpls, I decided to stop and look in Wayzata. What an amazing experience. The dealership knows what professional customer service is. To say they were accommodating, professional, and just plain great is an understatement. The very fair deal I received here is superior to the robbery(!) We recently traded our 2010 Lexus (bought in AZ) for a new 2015 Lexus to gain all of the safety electronic features now available. Jon Stusse had been in touch, in a low pressure way, for a couple of years asking about what we would be interested in when trading. We were interested in a fully loaded top of the line with air ride. He arranged for delivery of a vehicle to the dealership that had every single requirement (down to the color and trailer hitch) about the time we would be returning to MN for the summer. We were under no obligation to buy the car...it was just there. The financial dealings were smooth as our trade-in value and purchase price requests were me. Jon provided us with the easiest most satisfactory car buying experience we have ever had.

I live four hours from the greater twin cities and was searching online for a pre-owned BMW and found what I was looking for at Lexus of Wayzata. Ignacio Garrigos responded to my inquiry immediately and we developed a great relationship. He made it so easy to purchase the car. Other staff were equally accommodating. I realize they deal with hundreds of customers a day. But, for the time it took me to check out the vehicle I wanted to driving out of the dealership a couple hours later, I felt that I was there only customer. They "get it." I was recommended by my girlfriend, who also bought from Mike a few years back. She was particularly impressed with how he treated her with respect and didn't feel the need to talk "down" to her, despite her being a woman in her mid-20s. When I arrived at our scheduled meeting, Mike had already researched a number of options based on the few things I had given him to work with. The list had my car on it, and as luck would have it, the first one we looked at was the 'winner.' Throughout the process, I never thought Mike worked for Lexus of Wayzata, but was more my broker in the deal. I got a very fair price on my trade-in, and they even met me at my original price I was looking to spend, getting a FANTASTIC car in the process. I will strongly suggest everyone I know that is looking for a new car, whether its a Lexus or not, to Mike in the future. I appreciate you breaking the myths of the "Car Salesman," Mike. First I'll sum it up by saying if you live in the Minnesota area and surrounding states I would make sure Lexus of Wayzata is your first place to stop while looking for a new or used Lexus. I just flew from Ohio to Lexus of Wayzata to purchase a new 2014 ES 350 Ultra Luxury w/Mark Levinson vehicle after looking all across the eastern United States for this particular vehicle that I wanted. Jake Blomquist was my salesman and I have bought a few cars over the years and he was by far the best salesman I have encountered yet. Professional, knowledgeable, accessible and even came in on his day off to finalize the deal as I could only fly in on a certain day. He also set it up for Kirby Walberg the lot manager to pick me up at a hotel in a new Lexus LS after flying in to the airport. Folks this is customer service at its highest level and the reason I came here instead of flying to south Florida for a vehicle that I was also interested in. Charlie Bloomer the new car manager had several discussions and emails with me during the buying process and was very fair and professional with our negotiations. He even made sure that my requested Expel paint protection was applied with short notice prior to my arrival. I know Charlie was busy on my arrival at the dealership but he still found time to speak with me and make me feel welcome. Thanks Charlie. Brian Itman the business manager went over all my paperwork in quick fashion with a great attitude and didn't try the normal pressured sales tactics reference the extended warranty, etc. Karen Trapp the vehicle delivery coordinator went over the vehicle with me and showed me everything I needed learn about my new vehicle. Karen thanks for your patience as I appreciated it. Also while waiting on a couple things to get finalized I spoke with New Car Salesman Bob Skinner and it was good talking and meeting Bob also. I also met longtime diagnostic specialist Steve Geil who made some adjustments to the paint protection film on my driver side outside mirror. Steve thanks for making those adjustments quickly. I don't usually write reviews but this dealership and these folks went out of their way to make this car buying experience one I won't forget. The only regret I have is that this dealership isn't closer to Ohio. Thanks again everyone, I know being in the service industry sometimes your not thanked enough but you guys didn't just sell a car you really showed me and my family that the employees at Lexus of Wayzata sell customer service.

Within a year, my wife and I returned to upgrade another vehicle. My wife got her CT200h after a Prius and my RAV4 was next. We had a wonderful experience with Gerald the first time. After one visit, we wanted to return to see the new Rioja Red on the NX F Sport. I thought maybe white with the red interior would be great. When we arrived, Gerald said that a black NX had become available. I love it! Within 4 hours we were drving home our new NX! Gerald, Scott, and Eric were professional and friendly. Nice all around. Lexus of Wayzata has made our car buying enjoyable. Thank you!

I would give a zero star if I could. I bought a brand new RX350 from this dealer a few years ago. And also a whole set of four brand new tires from them 3 years ago. Yesterday I took my car for a low pressure tire. They charged me $36 just to patch! Discount Tire would do this for free even I didn't buy tires from them, let alone buying a new car and a set of new tires. This Lexus dealer is such a rip off place!Not just this, I'm totally disappointed with this dealer's customer service. The service adviser who served me for repair didn't look at me in the face when answering my question. When my car was ready, he didn't come close to me but waived at me from distance without say a word. And he didn't explain what was wrong with my tire. He should not have treated me so bad like this since I was bad to him after all. Plus, although with appointment it took 1 hour 20 minutes just to wait to get one tire fixed! I'm sad. Will never ever to this dealer a gain.Poor dealer!

I first met Gerald when my father returned from Europe and needed a new car. He bought a ct200h and is loving it. So when I was in the market again I knew who to go to at this dealership- Gerald is first class and is a pleasure to work with. He made the whole process easy and hassle free. Jim Guettler the finance manager was also really helpful. Don't hesitate to go in to talk with Gerald if you are in the market for a new luxury vehicle- you will not be disappointed!

This was my first new Lexus after owning new Mercedes, Porsche, Volvo and many others. My experience with my salesperson Jake Blomquist was fantastic. I was owed a few accessories from the dealer that did not come standard (trailer hitch and heated seats) and my experience with the service department was outstanding as well. The delivery specialist Boris was competent and patient with every question no matter how simple or complicated. I would highly recommend my salesperson Jake and this dealership to everyone. As my wife lives and breathes based on reviews, it was important for me to share my great experience.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a dealership to service my GS350. For my first service I went to a local Toyota dealer, since it was close to my house. The service there was average, nothing special. I have a keen eye for dealership service, having worked in the industry for 6 years. I went to Lexus of Wayzata to have my winter wheels/tires installed. From the moment I pulled into the service drive I was impressed. I was greeted promptly upon exiting my vehicle. I was quickly taken to Matt to discuss the service I wanted. To my surprise he said they would store my summer wheels/tires for me for no charge. The dealership itself is beautiful; crystal chandeliers, fresh cut flowers in the lobby, and a guest lounge second to none. During my wait, the general manager even stopped and thanked me for stopping by the dealership. My car was completed quickly and was even washed. I am a bit of car industry buff and this dealership is a prime example of what Toyota had in mind when they created the Lexus brand. I will getting all my service work done at this dealership.

My husband and I contacted Lexus of Wayzata when we became interested in purchasing a Lexus RX350. I appreciate good follow-up and customer service which was extended when we went in to the dealership for a personal visit and met Vick Singh in Sales. He helped educate us on options, was courteous and kept us updated on alternatives to meet our budget and needs. Although, the vehicle we were looking at sold before we could decide, he continued his follow through and deserves recognition for his professionalism! Everything. Our salesperson, Vick Singh, was a great resource from the moment we met him. He was all about service and educating us about the Lexus lineup of cars, their options and the value they offer. Once we narrowed down the model and options we were looking for, he quickly provided us with a number of cars to look at and test drive (even bringing one over from Maplewood). We were looking at a number of different luxury automobiles, and ultimately decided to purchase a Lexus because of the quality of the cars and the level of service we received from Vick. Vick was extremely personable and treated every member of our family (especially our children) in an extremely polite and respectful manner. The service didn't stop there either, we had a great experience with all the team members who helped deliver our car. We're very pleased with our purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vick or Lexus of Wayzata to any friends or family looking for a car.

You treat your customers very well. What I liked best is that there was no "slick hussle" feeling like I get from other dealerships. It is so insulting when the sales person immediately starts pressuring me to buy a car that day, and your dealership doesn't do that. A car is a major purchase and it takes time to decide and you understand that. Once I did decide on the car, the experience was very smooth and Vick was assisting with every detail. He was fantastic.

As an addendum to our previous review, we wanted to acklowledge Russell Lawrentz. Although we had worked extensively through prior phone calls and emails with another member of the salesforce,Ignacio, we were only able to come to the dealership on the one day he was scheduled to be out of the office. Russell was great to work with. Very thorough, professional. We enjoyed Russell's "no hard sell" demeanor. Because we had never owned a Lexus, we of course, had many questions - of which Russell was able to explain to us well. He guided us through a wonderful test drive experience, all the way through the purchase process. Although we live outside of metropolitan area, this was a very easy purchase process. We left confident that we would be treated equally as well after purchase. Outstanding staff at Lexus of Wayzata! We plan to work with this dealership well into the future. they are truly the "gold standard".

Overall a great experience with all the folks at Lexus. In particular, Gerald was so helpful and knowledgeable about the various cars/options/etc. We felt like we were getting honest answers (not car salesman answers) and he took time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Gerald is super responsive and even helped us schedule a follow-up appointment on his day off. Christopher Broin went through the technology package with us and was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a top notch experience with Lexus of Wayzata!

My first experience with Lexus of Wayzata was with Jolie Frederickson at the Mpls Car Show in March, she went through all features on both the IS & GS thoroughly, we then went in for a test drive 2 weeks later and she was instrumental in helping me with my decision on the car I eventually purchased . . she worked very hard at getting us the deal we wanted. Then when I took delivery of my GS, Eric Baumann spent over an hour going through the features of the car, with the intention that I will drive it for a couple weeks and go back again for another training session with Eric. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and I'm already looking forward to meeting with him again. We were very impressed with the time everyone spent with us from Jolie to Scott and then finally with Eric. We were very impressed with the Dealership and I will defiantly recommend Jolie and consider a repeat purchase at Lexus of Wayzata. Thanks to everyone for making my car purchase a great experience.

I had driven a 2005 Lexus 330 for 6 years and I was ready for a new car. Gary had contacted me previously and I reached out to him when I was ready to purchase a new car. I am a busy professional and he coordinated getting me access to the car before it was actually available for sale. I bought a 2011 Lexus 350 and I love it. I recently purchased a 2008 ES350 CPO vehicle from Ignacio. My experience with Ignacio as well as Lexus of Wayzata was first class. Ignacio is a professional and a gentleman and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. He did not rush the process and took the time to get to know me. He provided detailed printouts regarding all past service on the vehicle and addressed any questions I had. After a test drive on a cold January day, Ignacio made sure when I came back the next day the car would be washed up and inside for me to take an even better look at. The car looked like brand-new. Ignacio worked with me to make sure I was comfortable with the final numbers - and when the deal was done, Ignacio welcomed me to the Lexus family with a handshake - which I thought was significant considering I was purchasing a used car. The car was ready to go with a full tank of fuel, and Ignacio assured me as I drove off in my new used car that he and Lexus of Wayzata would continue to be there for me long after the sale. An excellent salesman a true gentleman.

I am an out of state resident who was recently visiting family in Minneapolis. I had no intention of buying a new car although I had been contemplating buying a Lexus LS460 for some time. When I made mention of this during a dinner discussion, two people suggested I call Jan Engle at Lexus of Wayzata. I called Jan and scheduled a meeting to take a test drive. The next day I bought a new LS460. It was probably the easiest auto transaction I have ever done. Jan Engle was great. There was no high pressure whatsoever. I thanked the people who had recommended Jan to me. By the way. I love the 460.

We drove 4 hours to the dealership. it was a very friendly atmosphere. they had a great place for our grandson to play. We purchased the vehicle and they were very fair in their negotiations. Vick was great to work with, and I has a great experience overall except that I missed out on the purchase! This was more due to me dragging my feet as I spent some time out of town during the process and someone managed to snatch the car before I could.. Vick followed up in a timely manner, and the dealership seemed open and willing to work with me to get me in the vehicle. Pricing was reasonable andI would not hesitate to work with Vick and Lexus of Wayzata again.

I was looking for a vehicle to replace my 2003 Lexus that had 111,000 miles. The first day I visited the dealership, there were several cars available, but not quite what I was looking for. Vick Singh was helping me at the time and asked what I was specifically looking for. He said that cars come in very often on lease returns and he would be watching for a car that would fit my requirements. He also said he would get back to me in a couple days. Well, sure enough, he called me two days later. He had a car that fit my needs with the mileage I was looking for. Vick was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The buying process went very smoothly. I would recommend Vick to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle! I have had my former car serviced by Lexus of Wayzata and have always been happy with their service department as well..

Jake and Charlie Bloomer made sure I had a great experience selecting the best car for me. They let me drive as many vehicles as I wanted so I could compare the choices. Having a car to drive for a weekend helped me decide which one I wanted. Jake arranged for a smooth paperwork process and an immediate briefing of the car. Jake has also followed up after the purchase to make sure things are going well. The service has been excellent.

I entered the Lexus dealership in search of a new auto after driving and stopping at each of the dealerships in Brooklyn Park on Friday evening and continuing on Saturday morning on Hwy 394 in Golden Valley. My Honda Pilot was purchased new in 2003 and though I was very happy with it, I had decided 105,000 miles was a reason to search for something smaller and new. My requirements, color and ammenities. I arrived at Lexus close to 5:30 p.m. after a start time of 10:00 am and walked on the inside with no sales help. Kathy at the desk saw me leaving and called Gerald. What a pleasant, fun unexpected time. Gerald was polite and reminded me of a charater from the TV show "Glee" and I did find out he had traveled with a music group in his earlier days. His sparky hair and cute bow tie matched his personality. He was informative, honest, and not pushy at all. Though I told him I was planning to down scale to a car and he showed me what was available, he was very open to have me look at the RX 350, with all the ammenities I wanted and some I never dreamed of. The colors I did not want were white, black, gray, silver. As we left to test drive a white SUV, he apologized for the boring color but pointed out colors on the lot. I had planned to purchase something by the end of this year, no rush, wanted to look around. Within a week and a half I took possession of my Fire Egret SUV which I have proudly named "Mocha" Gerald was a great part of this quick purchase and he along with Scott and Eric are a wonderful team. We recently purchased a car through Ignacio Garrigos. We really enjoyed working with Ignacio and we think that he is a great sales person! Ignacio has a very consultative approach. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Instead, he did a great job of presenting us with options and he gained our trust very quickly. I have already told my sister to get in touch with Ignacio once she is ready to buy a car.

We decided to make a 2 hour trip to Lexus of Wayzata with hope that the vehicle we saw on the website was the perfect one, and it was. But even better then that was the experience we had with Ignacio our salesman. After two hours in the car with small children it was great to see that he went out of his way to make sure that not only us but the kids felt comfortable. He even went as far as to watch them for us while we inspected the vehicle, and to allow us to work the whole deal in the children's area so they could play. This was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time and it was all thanks to Ignacio.

This dealership is pathetic. The staff is rude, the service techs are unprofessional and sloppy, and if you even think of purchasing a new/used vehicle here prepare to be bombarded with emails and phone calls! Incredible. I will never shop or service here again. Next purchases will be down the street at M-B or BMW.

I bought a vehicle from Lexus of Wayzata in 2010 and had an overall positive experience, and I went back in 2013 when it was time to buy another. I was working with Cal Ryan on both occasions. I found Mr. Ryan to be very professional and pleasure to work with. In 2013 I was negotiating with Mr. Ryan for the purchase of a previously owned LS460 and we found ourselves at an impasse related to a misunderstanding of the terms of the purchase. Not a big problem, nothing that we could not have easily worked out and closed the deal. That is when Wes Nelson got involved Mr. Nelson is some sort of manger and I assume he was brought in help close the deal. That is not what happened, I found Mr. Nelson to be extremely arrogant an patronizing. His contempt for me as a customer was palpable and it quickly became obvious that he only wanted to sell to uninformed lay down customers. Mr. Nelson is the poster boy for the stereotypical repulsive used car salesman that has polluted the profession for decades. I would like to believe that Lexus of Wayzata is above that, however, as a result of Mr. Nelsons behavior I walked out of the dealership and will never go back.

After transfering our dealership from Des Moines to Wyzata and after purchasing a couple of Lexus from Ty Oprish and having them serviced by Tom Bennett, we give this dealership an A+. We drove our Lexus SUV to Vegas and used the wrong Lexus key -- Tom Bennett and his staff worked through our problem without any towing or expense. We were thinkng about trading our SUV and our salesman (Ty Oprish) had a day off and found out we were in town and came to the dealership and with his consultation purchased a beautiful 2010 Cyclone colored SUV. When I went to Lexus of Wayzata, I was impressed by how Mike Gleason welcome me and talk about what he can do to help achieve my goal of finding my next car. I've explained to Mike that I am looking at purchasing a used car and would like to test drive a few. He was very helpful and accommodating to my needs. He was very professional and on top of everything. He was an excellent and outstanding sales person who you can trust of what you can get out of your money. Financing went thru with no problems. Mike took care of everything, detailed and prep the car I purchased in time for delivery. I have a nice 2004 Lexus S330 that looks new and polished and in excellent condition. Tip #1 (for Lexus): when someone comes in with a coupon/is not a frequent service customer you should provide customer service well beyond what is already expected. You will only win if you can make this customer a regular. Tip #2 (for Lexus): customer service is the only thing that differentiates you from the competition. Remember that. Tip #3: (for Lexus): if you can't make a service deadline, then don't set them. Else, the customer should be compensated.

Visited Ignacio based on the referral of a friend. Ignacio made buying our Lexus ES350 a very pleasant experience. He listened to what I wanted, guided me through the process but wasn't in the least bit pushy nor did he rush me when I was a bit indecisive. This was my first experience dealing with Lexus-Wayzata and Jon Stusse. Jon and everyone at the dealership were wonderful to work with. Very accomodating and no pressure. I have purchased my last 3 cars from Lexus of Wayzata, and the last 2 from Jon Stusse. After receiving a "Happy Holidays" email from him, I decided to check what used SUVs they had in stock. They happened to have a Lexus RX 400h (a hybrid!). The biggest complaint I had with my current car (Porsche Cayenne, bought used from Lexus because I was planning to buy a horse trailer at the time) was the gas mileage. I needed to be able to pull a pop-up camper (went with that instead of the horse trailer) but didn't need the V8 I had. I really doubted that Lexus could give me what I owed on my car, but since I had worked with Jon in the past, I knew I would be able to say "I can't afford this new car" and walk away if I had to. In the end, I was honest with Jon with what I could afford, and we made it work! I actually had my mind up that I was just looking at the car, but there I was agreeing to buy it. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized what a great deal I got. I had the opposite of buyer's remorse - buyer's glee? I couldn't stop telling people what a great deal I got. I know in a few years I'll do the same thing - find a used car on the Lexus website, email Jon, and come in and buy the car. I have always gotten a fair deal with him and Lexus of Wayzata. Their cars last forever and their service is the best.

Dear Lexus of Wayzata Management,Your dealership has class written all over it. I drove all the way from Des Moines, IA to MN to buy a car from your dealership. I walked in the dealership and was greeted by the receptionist right away. She called a sale associate for me within minutes I was greeted by a very friendly and courteous sales associate Russell Lawrentz. I told Russell what I was looking for, make, color, model, price range so Russell pull up the list that match my criterias. I also, told Russell I was going to go to Lexus of Maplewood for comparision shopping. To my surprised, Russell said Maplewood was owned by Lexus of Wayzata and he pulled up the list from Maplewood to see if the car I was looking for was there. Since Russell and I found a vehicle to my liking at Wayzata we work on the details. Went downstairs to the detail shop to see the vehicle and took it for a test drive. The vehicle needed some attention to the ripped backseat and chipped windshield but Russell assured and in writing that dealership would reimbursed for repairs and or offer to repair when I was back in MN. We sealed the deal and paperworks was completed within hours I was driving my Lexus back home to Des Moines. I want to give special thank you to Russell Lawrentz for his kindness, friendly attitude and product knowledge. I felt like I made a friend during my car buying experience at your dealership. I had a few questions and concerns regarding the exterior detailing a couple days later and Russell offered me to bring it in for detailing when i'm back in MN...Wow, that made my day. My mom and sister in-law was also impressed with your dealership. I have and will continue to recommend your dealership to friends and family. Two different visits to replace differential and transfer case oil in Toyota Rav4 and Lexus RX350. Plus the visit for RX350 to fix the roof rack.Yes i brought Toyota to Lexus dealership! Their price was better (extremeness uncommon for this dealership) and customer service is way better! You are treated as VIP, great waiting room, nice reps...Both cars needed this service done for oil. Price was the best, service fast and cars very clean afterwords.For roof rack, I was even given a rental!I highly recommend this dealership if you can afford their service rates (for other services)

Had never owned a Lexus and after a lot of shopping settled on a Certified pre-owned ES350. The car is great but just as important to me is the way I was treated during the purchasing process and now in getting my car serviced. My service consultant, Doug Evans, treats me like a friend and always takes the time to explain the recommended work. (I've owned the car for 18 months and have not had to do anything but routine maintenance.) The various spaces in the waiting area allow me to work or relax and watch television while my car is being worked on. Highly recommend Wayzata Lexus.

"What am I doing here?" went through my head when I parked my car and walked into the Lexus of Wayzata dealership. I was looking for a good used car--but a Lexus? Who am I kidding? There were rows of 'em on the way in, all shiny and new, but yes, I spotted some pre-owned ones for sale too. Fifteen minutes later Paul Loso had me sizing up a 2007 RX350. Really clean, plenty of headroom, lots more options than I expected, and surprisingly affordable compared to the used Toyotas and Subarus I had been looking at. Two days later I owned it. It's what I was looking for all along: a reliable vehicle at a competitive price, no pressure. I still smile every time I get inside and start it up. What a nice car!

We have purchased two preowned cars from Lexus of Wayzata and cannot recommend them more. Cal Ryan took so much time with us to make sure that our experience was top notch in every way. He never pressured us, loaded the contacts from our Bluetooth, spent two sessions teaching us to thoroughly use the GPS and generally had the attitude of "whatever it takes." He expressed that he wants us to use every feature of the car to the ultimate and has proven that. We know that we can call him at any time for a phone consult or for an appointment. It is also all the little touches that enhance the whole experience: a full tank of gas when we picked up the car, totally clean car inside and out every time we have service, the luxurious lounge area, every kind of complimentary beverage and snack available, an attitude of respect and caring, etc. We really would not consider any other dealer after two exemplary experiences of purchasing plus great follow up service.

Timm Bastyr was recommended to us by a friend who had purchased several Lexus from him. We found the purchasing experience to be very easy and were completely satisfied with how we were treated, not only by Timm, but by the whole Lexus of Wayzata team. Timm did an excellent job of explaining all the features of our new ES350, and made sure we were comfortable with all the bells and whistles before we drove it out the door. We hope to do business with him again in the future.

I had a great sales experience working with Gary Anderson on my new ES350. Gary was friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles. There was no pressure and Gary did a thorough job of reviewing the features and demonstrating all aspects of the technology. The service experience has also been great. Our car-buying experience with Lexus of Wayzata, and particularly with Jon Stusse, was a good one. Jons professionalism, calm demeanor and can-do approach made all of our interactions positive. What may have made our experience somewhat out of the ordinary was the extended time period involved. From the time we met at the Minneapolis Auto Show in March, to ordering in April, and through delivery in August, Jon made it a point to keep us up to date on the status of Lexus production of 2013 RX models with the feature that is of great importance to us, the Blind Spot Monitor. By the way, it was worth waiting for. We appreciate the way Jon kept in touch with us and his straightforward approach to the selling process. From my arrival, browsing both used and new vehicles, my experience with both the sales manager(s), technology specialists, and service professionals at Lexus of Wayzata was thoroughly impressive. I was never left waiting, information was provided and questions were answered with surprising speed and accuracy. After purchasing my vehicle, I was thoroughly introduced to all the features in a nonstressful way, and didn't feel like the specialist was trying to hurry me along and get me out of the dealership. I've never felt so comfortable in purchasing a vehicle, nor have I been invited so many times to contact them with ANY concerns or questions. I would and WILL absolutely buy again from Lexus of Wayzata.

Loved my experience. Dave was professional throughout my interactions with him. My inquiries were often done over email, primarily due to my distance from the dealership and busy work hours... and was frequently surprised at how quickly Dave replied. Information provided was always accurate, timely, and thorough. As far as options with my vehicle, Dave was very honest about options that he highly recommended, and options he would forego. At the time of vehicle pick-up, I spent time with a specialist who was exceedingly professional, and was able to answer ANY question I had about any particular feature. Honestly, this somwhat surprised me, as I was trying to figure out if there was anything she wouldn't know about... there wasn't. I was extremely impressed with how thoroughly she knew the vehicle. I've never felt like I understand a vehicle so well immediately after purhase.I also left the dealership feeling very comfortable contacting Lexus with any concerns or questions that may arise. I can only say that I would purchase the vehicle with Lexus of Wayzata again, and, in fact, plan to.

It was February 2012 when I began my search for a new vehicle. We were replacing our 2006 Sienna minivan. It was important to have AWD and towing capability. After test driving 15 different SUVs from luxury to basic, we kept coming back to Lexus. John Stusse was our sales representative at Lexus of Maplewood. What impressed me the most was the level of comfort and the quietness. The windows are triple lined, the engine is shrouded, the wheel wells are sound dampening felt and the doors have extra insulation. We often drive five hours to our cabin and it's nice to have less road noise. It makes conversation and music more enjoyable. The engine is responsive and smooth. The interior is spacious and comfortable. It's nice to look forward to driving!

Jon knew I had been looking for a Mini Cooper Clubman for several years and he contacted me last Friday when the 2010 Mini came into the dealership. I test drove it on Saturday and finalized the sale on Tuesday! He was very professional in reviewing all the details of the car making sure I fully understood all the features. He explained, reviewed each item in all the documents. I left feeling well treated and familiar with my new vehicle. Jon has been my go to knowledge master on cars for the past two years now, since I moved from New York. Not only is the most knowledgable person I know on cars, but he is an absolute pleasure to work with. Although I've officed nearby for 20 years+, I just never found the right deal to buy at Lexus of Wayzata. I've owned 3 Lexus SUVs before I bought this used 2010 GS-350 for my lovely wife. The dealership had a tough deal to match from a someone I had bought the pther 3 from in the past. They got to the right deal and then, after it was cut, went the extra mile on a few things to make it a better deal. As an aside, had it not been for the incredible service (albeit minimal visits) has been incredible. Chris has always bent over backwards to deliver service since I bought my first in 2000. Nothing short of incredible. Frankly, that is why I'm still in the Lexus product. State of the art luxury, great reliable product with terrific resale and incredible service.

My partner and I shopped for a car for off and on for three years. We decided last year to buy the Lexus 200CT Hybrid because I am an eco-nut with style and the Prius was/is too ugly. Since we made our decision earlier, we had very little "shopping" to do for our car. So the process was efficient with Jon Strusse. We have two young children so efficiency was critical to us, as childcare needed to be arranged (3 yr olds love to press buttons.) The test drive and negotiation took around 2 hours and a couple of weeks later the purchasing time was just over 1 hour. We were a guaranteed sale and Jon remained non-pressure throughout the process, thoughtfully answering my questions about dimensions and volume typical of an engineer and the basic car-buying questions "what is this?" and "where is that?" Jon excelled at thoroughly answering our follow-up questions--even on his days off. Jim Guettler, finance manager, gladly accommodated our trade-in re-negotiation and patiently answered our questions about financing. I appreciated the spacious waiting area and available fresh fruit, coffee, and sugary-carbs. This was an overwhelmingly positive experience for my partner and me. We are thrilled with our new car and are looking forward to the "New Owner's Brunch."

I leased my new RX 350 about two months ago and I love my car! I also test drove a BMW X3 and Cadillac SRX. When I started my new car search, I was planning on buying the Cadillac but felt I should test drive a few other cars before finalizing my decision. The Lexus rode so smoothly and the lease package was more competitive. Jon Ryerson was the salesperson who responded to my initial email request then followed up with a personal phone call to introduce himself before our visit to the dealership. Once I made my decision, the car was ready within a few hours. Jon has checked in periodically to answer questions, see how things are going and to just say hi. We were surprised to learn that we were Jon's first sale at the Lexus dealership - he was very knowledgable about the product and obviously not new to the industry. My only complaint is that the dealership is quite a hike from Apple Valley!

What started out as a quick stop to see what was new in used cars on the lot while I was out for lunch turned into one of the best sales experiences I have ever had. Although the price is the most important part of a purcasing anything, other factors play into purchasing such as experience. At Lexus of Wayzata, they will treat with respect and work to make sure that as a customer you feel good about the purchase. I was at the Mercedes dealership in bloomington. Even if they gave me steal for the purhase, I'd wouldn't buy from them. I felt so disrepected I rather spend my 50K+ somewhere else; and that's whole lot of money for us and for most people. That's why a buying experience is so key. At Lexus of Wayzata, they are way better than that. They are patient, respectful, and perform routine customer inquery checkups, even weeks after the sale. I saw a lot of people like Gerald Franti (our sales rep) who made us feel like valuable (even after the purchase). I think a sales team continuing with great customer satifaction will always be in business. They were way busier than other places. Luxury aren't cheap even with this economy; but it's apparent to me on how they do it. Only reason, they didn't 5/5 for everything was that I did wait quite a while (like 3.5 hours) for the financing guys to be free.

My wife and I were very impressed with your dealership and especially salesperson Russ Lawrence. He made the transaction go about as fast and smooth as possible. He took the time to explain all the options on the new 350 and went out of his way to sync our phones and door opener as well. The finance officer was very efficient and very personable. Clint the service rider was efficient and did not try to over sell me. In fact, he helped me decide to postpone some service that could wait awhile (and not incur the costs currently). Steve the body shop expert gave a reasonable quote to fix a couple minor items and fixed them timely. There was no upcharge on any of the service; in fact the bill was somewhat less than I expected. I also bought an extension to the CPO warranty up to 5 years / 125 k miles. Just FYI - This is an exclusionary warranty and needs to be purchased at point of sale only. The downside is that it is not transferable, but that is a Lexus issue and not the fault of the dealer. Assessment of salesperson: The sales experience was excellent. I would rate Ignacio as a 10/10 on each of the following points easygoing, knowledgeable, easy to work with, NON rushed, NON pushy, went out of his way to provide information and pricing, EXCELLENT after sales service, help with learning the car functionality. In fact, I told my friend about the deal and he bought a GS350 AWD from Ignacio two days after I bought this car. Assessment of finance manager: I would rate the dealer finance manager (Scott) as 10/10. I know a lot about cars and I really appreciate the fact that although several products were showcased, none were forced onto me and in fact, he was actually trying to get me all I needed, and not necessarily what the dealer wanted to sell. We had a great experience working with Cal Ryan at the Lexus Dealership in Wayzata MN. We really didn't need a car for a couple of months and we went in to just shop and check out what was there. Cal did a great job of asking the right questions and showing us a car that met our needs. We bought that day. He has also been very responsive with returning calls and making sure we are satisfied.

We are very pleased that Ignacio Garrigos helped us trade in our old RX330 for the beautiful RX350. Ignacio was very helpful throughout the process and took the time to show setup for bluetooth and other features in the car. We would definitely work with Lexus of Wayzata and Ignacio again.

I was buying my first Lexus over the phone having never met a salesperson or been to a Lexus dealership. I was dealing with a dealership in Boulder, CO. And one in Mpls., specifically, Lexus of Wayzata. Both dealers had the color and interior of the 2012 Rx450h Lexus that I wanted. Options were a bit different, but price after comparing the options was my primary concern. I was very pleased with Gary Anderson's salesmanship, and especially his ability to negotiate a final PRICE, on a Saturday, with the specific add on's I wanted, WITHOUT Continually or ever having to contact a sales manager, put me on hold, and have counter offer after counter offer waste both of our time. I was very pleased with Gary's knowledge and professionalism. He was great arranging to pick me up at the airport and considerate and helpful my entire time at the dealership. Colton Bryant whom I met at the airport, was accommodat- ing and especially great during the vehicle delivery. He was very patient and answered all of my ques- tigons. My car was serviced at this visit. It was taken in soon after I arrived and I was told to relax in the waiting area. There was refreshments available and comfortable seating. The car was ready on time and perhaps a little early. The car was sparkling clean inside and out. Gary greeted me upon my arrival and spoke to me before I left. It was a very comfortable experience.

We have purchased each one of our vehicles from Lexus of Wayzata for the last eleven years. There is a reason for this... from start to finish they are so far above any other dealership experience we have ever had that we now chose to not go anywhere else. Mike Gleason in Sales has such superior professionalism and vast knowledge of the vehicles, it is incredible. He is so genuine. I cannot stress that sentiment enough. He is just really genuine, a rare gem, possessing such a wonderful and courteous disposition. We attended the Mpls auto show to check out the new models and met Gerald Franti. We were not looking for a Lexus, but were so impressed with his friendly, no pressure approach and his knowledge of their different models that we decided to visit the dealership and were quite impressed with the facilities as well. Gerald Franti was most helpful in our decision process. Originally seeking a sedan, with Gerald's help, we eventually decided a RX350 better fit our needs. Half the reason I bought a Lexus was to ensure the best, no-nonsense service in town. Check. Lexus Wayzata has absolutely lived up to my expectations and I highly recommend them. The other half was for the reliability of the car, my biggest priority in a car (other than heated seats, of course). So far so good, although I owned a Lexus a few vehicles ago, and certainly had an incredibly reliable car.

I was "just looking" and ended up buying a wonderful LX 350 the very same day. Jake Blomquist found the ideal vehicle for me with what I needed for a comfortable and safe ride.... Nice color too. He even set up the Bluetooth for me before I left for home and showed me how to work the Nav. system for a multitude of tasks. I was treated very well and very fairly. Everybody that I met was friendly, helpful and knowledgable.. from Jake to the service manager. Every question that I had was answered. There were no loose ends and the process was seamless. I was pleased. The RX is the perfect unit for me. I am so glad that Jake was available to help me find it.

This was an excellent experience I had. I am moving from New York to MN so most of my transaction with this dealership was over the phone. They were efficient and true to their word. I only visited their showroom once and its a lovely one with lots to eat. I flew in from NY for my appt with them and they were punctual and waiting for me on arrival. Jon Stusse was my agent and he was astounding.I had seen a excellent review done on him earlier and he did not disappoint. He is very easy to reach and replied all mails promptly.

Just closed on my 2009 IS 250. I worked with Greg in the pre-owned department and just want to say that Lexus has gained a customer for life. Not only did this get me a great interest rate, they gave me a much higher price on my trade in and worked with me to make sure my monthly payments were similar to what I am paying now. The people were great and they didn't pressure me like other dealerships I have been to. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great car buying experience and a sweet new ride.

I went to look at a new Lexus RX 350 before a holiday weekend, so the schedules of the sales guys were a little wonky. But even so, they took care of me with professionalism and ease. Great experience. Some elements of the facility are stuck in the late 80s/early 90s and coudl use a facelift, but overall, great. Beat the HECK out of the service I received (or TRIED to receive) at Carrousel Audi. Couldn't even get them to pay attention. Gave them TWO chances.

I was unsure of what car to buy, but when I saw it at Lexus of wayzata online I knew what I wanted. I went to the dealer and Kyle Cosky helped me with my decision. Gave me many options, and was not pushy at all but helpful. When I was unhappy with my current bank financing, and thought I would have to start over, Kyle offered assistance with the dealer finance dept, and I drove home with my new car the next day, VERY happy! My experience was terrific at Lexus of Wayzata-especially since I live out- of-state. Lance and Pat both kept me apprised of the availability and ship date of my vehicle and the entire staff was wonderful to me when I came to pick it up-spending lots of time showing me all the features. I have ALWAYS wanted a Lexus RX350. It was on my bucket list. I never felt that I was in the market to be able to have one. I had leased a Murano in the past and had since bought an older Jeep Liberty. As I was in the market to find another car, I had decided to call Lexus of Wayzata to see if they happened to have anything that would fit my price range. I talked with Gary Anderson. He told me about a deal they were having for the RX350 which happened to be the car that I have ALWAYS wanted. I came into the store with my dad to check it out. Gary worked with my dad and I for quite awhile to see if something could work for me. He was by far the BEST CAR sales person I have EVER worked with. I walked out of the store with my dad extremely impressed with him. He treated us extremely well given the fact that I did not have a lot of extra money to spend. I went home knowing that some day I would Be back to buy my Lexus RX350. Gary turned that "some day" into the "next day." Lexus of Wayzata dealership is very nice. The sales people are not pushy and are generally well informed. I was able to negotiate a lower price on the vehicle and that process was relatively painless as well. The facilities are amazing. It has free water, soda, food, a lounge, pretty much anything you could imagine. I would recommend buying a car from this dealership.

I was parting ways with my 2004 BMW 330xi, and was looking for a upgrade. It was a Saturday and we had been to a slew of other dealerships and was in the market for a Lexus. As we were driving down the highway, we spotted Lexus of Wayzata. We figured the place was closed, being that it was around 7 o' clock, but we decided to take a look and check out their inventory. As we we arrive we noticed that the place was in fact closed but Russell approached us out in the lot and asked if we had any questions at all. I said I was just looking and I knew that they had just closed so I didn't want to take up any of his time, so I asked for his card so that I could stop by on Monday.The following Monday, I went to a slew of other dealerships, and still hadn't found, "the one". So again last stop, I went to Lexus of Wayzata. As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt welcome. At no point did I get the snooty, pretentious feel that you get at some luxury dealerships. So I requested to see Russell. As soon as he was available, I was greeted with a handshake, and a smile, and he asked what he could help me out with. I gave Russell a ballpark idea of where I wanted my monthly payments to be, and what I could afford. We looked through the inventory and we landed on a Lexus 2006 GS300. We test drove it and it was solid. Everything was there. The customer service, the ideal car, cost, and all the perks. I was sold.After a few weeks of the purchase I noticed that there was some bubbling on the rims. I gave Russell a call and notified him of the situation and I wanted to know if there was anything that we could work out. The rims unfortunately were not covered under warranty, so I was expecting to pay a little out of pocket. Russell said he would talk to his manager and see what he could do. I was expecting to be denied service and end up paying for the rims to be refinished. Russell gave me a call a few minutes later and explained that they would cover the cost of the rims 100%.Overall, was floored with my entire experience at Lexus of Wayzata. Especially coming from Russel. Not only does he understand the idea of customer service, but also understands the idea of building a relationship with the people he comes in contact with. Very personal, great attitude, and knows how to treat a customer.

When I first came to just look at a Lexus RX350, I couldn't believe how all the salespeople were friendly, helpful but certainly not pushy. I decided to test drive one and was put into contact with the salesperson, Greg Loop. Immediately, I could tell he was an honest individual just by the sincere way he talked with me and was interested in me. I had come in with my son and he made both of us feel like important customers. When I was contemplating purchasing the car, Greg put me into contact with the sales manager, Brian Gratti to see if we could work out the cost that would be manageable for me. When the purchase price was agreed upon, Gregg spent another 3 hours with me making sure I was comfortable with all the many "gadgets" that I had never seen before. I traded in my 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme which in that day was a deluxe car but didn't have anything except the basics. Gregg also introduced me to the service manager who took the time to stop and talk and once again make me feel important in the purchase of my car. I think Lexus of Wayzata is extremely lucky to have a sales person like Gregg Loop on their team. I highly recommend Lexus of Wayzata for their great customer service and I highly recommend working with Gregg. Needless to say, it was a wonderful hassel-free experience.

Prior to going to the dealership I dealt with a gentleman named Tom, who I really didn't care for much. I was also put in contact with one of the sales managers, unfortunately don't know his name, and I thought he was terrible...kind of a prick. Thankfully those two were there when I went to test drive the car. I worked with Greg Loop, who I really enjoyed working with. The sales manager that helped finalize the deal was actually friendly too (obviously not the same one that I spoke to on the phone. Overall, I think it was a pretty fare deal on the car they sold and my trade in. I have purchased many cars and this was the best experience yet. I look forward to buying another one from them in a few years. Do yourself a favor and look for Greg Loop when you go there.

I owned a Lexus GX470 for six years and had really great luck with it.Unfortunately, I made a bad decision to switch to an Audi Q7. What a mistake that was! Audi service was horrible at best. Two months after I purchased the Audi I went to Russell and he worked with me to get me back into a 2011 Lexus GX460. He is extremely professional and knowledgable, I will recommend him and Lexus of Wayzata to everyone I know. I will never stray from Lexus again!

The waiting area is very comfortable and time always seems to go by so fast. I love the little bottle of water and mint they placed in my car after the oil change and the car wash made my day! I went into Lexus thinking there was no way I would be able to afford such a nice luxury vehicle. I was driving my 2nd Jeep Wrangler and had been driving a Wrangler for the past 12 years. Jim Kirchner came out and right away put me at ease. He was never pushy like some sales reps can be. I asked a few questions and he answered honestly. After talking with him for a bit, I gave him the price I was willing to spend and he said that he thought, with my trade-in he could get me into a 08 Lexus IS250. I test drove one and fell in love. We went inside and right away I noticed what a beautiful dealership it was. Excellent and very professional customer service, Greg Loop (sales associate) was his best to satisfy us. We needed a used Lexus car that matches our specified exterior and interior colors with navigation, parking sensors, back camera etc., and this dealership was able to find it for us. Greg Loop was very efficient with communications and following up things. After buying the car, he spent a great deal of time to go through all the features. He also called us to follow up how the car is driving, and send us a very nice thank you card. I would recommend buying car from this dealer.

This was my first experience purchasing a vehicle online, obviously I was very skeptical and nervous because you are going strictly by the word of the sales associates. Right from the start Chris made me feel very comfortable about my transaction and was not interested in making any kind of high pressure sale but more concerned with ensuring that I was completely confident with the vehicle I was purchasing. Over a period of about two weeks Chris and I communicated via email/phone where he spent a great deal of time sending me detailed photographs, vehicle specs, and information on the car. It is hard to find sales associates so dedicated to customer satisfaction. Chris has surely gained my trust over the process and I will definitely consider working with him again when I am ready to purchase another vehicle. After the dealership accepted my offer, I flew to MN and was greeted by a courtesy driver. The experience the minute I landed was well planned and extremely pleasant. Once at the dealership the car was exactly as described by Chris and awaiting my test drive. I test drove the vehicle and 15 minutes later I was walking through the purchasing process. The dealership was one of the best I have ever dealt with customer service and amenities were nicer than most hotels. I am proud to say the whole process took about one hour and I was a new owner of an amazing vehicle. Lexus of Wayzata is a top notch facility with an excellent and trustworthy staff. We had a very good experience buying a used car from Greg Loop at Lexus of Wayzata. He was readily available and very easy to work with. He helped us find the right vehicle, and we worked out a decent price and trade-in. He is taking care of all the loose ends. The whole transaction has been handled very professionally. This is a very good dealership to work with both for sales and service. Although Lexus service is certainly not inexpensive, they also do a very good and thorough job. When it was time to buy a new car I wasn't certain which brand. I had read all of the reviews, including consumer reports, and I liked Lexus for all of the sensible reasons. But I wasn't convinced until I began working with Gary Anderson at the Wayzata dealership. From the moment I walked into the dealership it was a different experience. It was clear that they take care of their existing customers as well as the prospective clients. I wasn't familiar with the car line up and Gary was extremely helpful in explaining the differences in the cars and determining which would best suit my family's needs. It was a totally enjoyable experience. I never felt pressured; Gary was patient and was always available to answer all of my questions. The price we agreed upon was fair for the product. True to my expectations they have continued to take care of me post-purchase whether it's during a service appt or an emergency detailing appt. When I began I wasn't sure that I wanted to purchase a Lexus and now I'm not sure I would go anywhere else.

I felt that this dealership is a very professionally run dealership but way overpriced. This is my first lexus and I do feel that it is a very well built vehicle, but I will not buy another Lexus at least not from this dealership. My 15,000 maintenance was over $500.00 and I feel that several services were performed that definitely were not necessary especially for a vehicle with 15,000 miles on it. I also feel that I overpaid for the lease which was my mistake. My wife has a Honda (a much less expensive vehicle) and she gets free oil changes for life (she has roughly 80,000 miles on her vehicle and has paid very little for maintenance).

We were able to get a transaction done very timly and were able to take delivery late on a Saturday afternoon just before closing (even though our first ever visit to the dealer was 3:00 pm that day). Jim was a true professional and one of the most respectable sales people I have ever dealt with. It was very evident that a strong service culture exists throughout the entire dealership. In all the years of purchasing automobiles never have we had the quality of service we received. Cal Ryan (the sales person) was very personable and treated us with the greatest respect. When we returned to have our first oil change Cal took the time to once again show us how to use the Bluetooth. Cal always has a warm smile and welcoming hand shake. We shall return.

I am not a very verbose individual, so I don't really give a rip if this is accepted. I was treated with the utmost respect and fine service by the folks at Lexus of Wayzata. You are made to feel like you deserve good treatment and it seems genuine. Probably a feature of hiring the right kind of respectful people, reinforced with the right incentives... it is not that complicated. But I find the tone of this survey to be rude and unjustified.

I have had multiple transactions with Jamie Shapiro at the Wayzata Lexus dealership over the last 10 years. I keep returning because the level of service consistently far exceeds my expectations. When deciding to lease my first Lexus, I expected the product to be superior, and I also expected the experience of shopping for a Lexus to be a step above my previous car-shopping experiences. Not only were both my expectations met and exceeded, but the continued service and attention is what has brought me back again and again. So often we are disappointed when making large purchases, I believe we have come to expect it. My experience with Jamie has been the polar opposite.I will never make an auto decision without consulting Jamie, without going to the dealership to drive the current models available (and neither should you). Thanks Jamie for providing a service experience that should be emulated in all industries!

I did not expect to purchase a Lexus when I began hunting for a vehicle. However, I found myself looking around in this Lexus dealer's lot anyway and was approached by a friendly and knowledgeable sales person.I never felt pressured to buy and I was given plenty of time to ask questions.This dealership was beyond accommodating and patient.

We leased our car through Tom Herman and each time I return to the dealership for service I am always greeted by Mr. Herman who then personally assists me to a service manager then makes sure I get the treatment that Lexus of Wayzata is known for. Mr. Herman will escort me to the waiting area and offer me a beverage and make sure I am settled in before before he leaves. My visit is a really relaxing, enjoyable experience.

Chris Doyle is the BEST Service Advisor! It is one thing to receive excellent service. It is another to receive it consistently over a long period of time and that is what Chris Doyle provides! It is because of this service that we have referred friends and family to the dealership. We've had our Lexus for almost five years and we always make our sevice appointments with Chris. Chris is beyond courteous, professional, efficient and he makes the Lexus experience a great one! Chris always greets us with a smile, gets our car in and out quickly, he even knows my kids' names and always has a great story and a treat for them when we come in. Lexus of Wayzata is fortunate and lucky to have such an excellent,knowledgeable and "can do" employee in Chris Doyle who provides an exemplary level of sevice every time!

We were looking on the internet for a specific Lexus, a newer LX570, and happened to see one from the Lexus of Wayzata Dealership. When we called we were fortunate to get Ignacio Garrigos a our sales associate. For the beginning it was obvious that he was generally interested in helping us find the best vehicle for us. This was extremely important to be able to trust him as we lived in Winnipeg and were about to buy a 2010 Lexus sight unseen from a dealership we have had no previous dealings with.And that is exactly what we did and could not be happier with our purchase and the way we were treated by Ignacio. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Ignacio Garrigos at Lexus of Wayzata. I had asked Ignacio to keep his eyes open for any used convertibles that came into the lot. He called me regularly with options, and...found me a great car...in fabulous condition, and at a great price. Ignacio gave me great advise on financing the car, and i felt he took very good care of me. I LOVE the car!! I have since referred both family and friends to Ignacio, and he has taken very good care of them as well!

This is my first purchase from Lexus of Wayzata and I'm extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism received throughout the entire sales process. Cal Ryan the salesman I dealt with is very friendly, didn't pressure me and went out of his way to ensure I was happy with my purchase. It's always refreshing to work with a dealer who cares about you and your needs rather than the next commission check; like the sales team at Motorworks who should take a few lessons from Cal and the Lexus team.

I've bought three cars from Lexus of Wayzata and all three transactions went very smooth. Cal Ryan the salesman I deal with is very friendly, has never pressured me and is very helpful if I ever have a problem. Cal also calls me occasionally to see how the car is treating me and sends me birthday cards which I don't expect but it's a nice gesture.

Yes, I would recommend this dealership and have recommended this dealership to people. An acquaintance of mine owns a Mercedes and a Lexus and he said that when it comes to both brands' service departments and sales departments, Lexus wins hands down with their friendliness and professionalism. That was all I needed to know. I guess JD Power knows it, too.

I visited Lexus Wayzata for service on my Lexus ES300 which has served me for many years. I loved that car but is was getting old. I spoke to Russell about possibly trading it in and upgrading. His committment to helping me choose the right car and his friendly attitude was amazing. Within hours I was driving home with a new car and I was thrilled. It was a great experience overall. He is friendly, familiar with what I like, who I am as a person, and he always provides me with assistance where I feel special consideration when working with him. I have been able to obtain vehicles over the years from Tom at a comfortable price. I have experiened Lexus of Wayzata to have excellent service while providing a comfortable stay considering all the amenities one might need. The environment is beautiful and the staff are excellent; it's always a pleasure to have Duane's expertise in the unfortunate event you have a service issue and your not quite sure what it is. We bought our certified pre-owned Lexus IS250 AWD from Jim Kirchner at Lexus of Wayzata. We are from out-of-state, and therefore pretty much completed our car deal over the phone and via internet. There are not many dealerships we would feel comfortable doing this with, but Jim and the sales manager, Bryan Grotte, were great.They kept us informed of their inventory, and worked very hard to find us the right car with the options we wanted at a fair price. Once we decided on our car, Jim was very accommodating arranging a time for us to come to Minneapolis to pick it up. He took care of all of the paperwork ahead of time, so we were able to complete the deal without any hassle. When we picked the car up, it was in excellent condition, inside and out. Jim was very knowledgeable regarding all of the options and features on the car, and was very patient and kind to demonstrate them. He has followed up after the sale also, which we appreciate very much. We feel confident the service department at this dealership will be as good as the sales department. We originally were looking for a used vehicle and ended up buying a new Lexus. Mike Gleason was extremely helpful and since buying our first Lexus from him we have been back to purchase all of our vehicles from him. Mike is extremely helpful and isn't pushy. He's very concerned about making sure you have great service and love your vehicle. If we've ever had problems with the service department or anything else, Mike has stepped in to help out. I have been searching for a new car for 4 months, unsure what I was going to purchase. After considerable research on multiple vehicles and manufacturer's, I chose to purchase a Lexus vehicle due to the customer service of Pat Bernklau. Pat was helpful and not pushy in trying to sell me on a specific vehicle. Pat listened to my preferences and showed great patience. I original was looking at the CT200h and ended up going with the RX450h based on value, availability, and trade-in value. Pat supported me through this decision and gave me facts and pricing, but the decision was mine in the end. I appreciated the support from Pat in this process, without being pushed in one direction or another. In all, I visited the dealership and did test drives on 4 different occasions. I have not experienced the service department with my new vehicle yet, but I expect the service experience will be just as fantastic.

We recently purchased our fifth Lexus (from brand new to extremely used and several in-between) over the last 11 years from Lexus of Wayzata and each time its been a productive and enjoyable experience. Tom Herman in sales knows what Im looking for in a used Lexus and when Im not in a hurry to buy he keeps watch for me as used vehicles come in and calls me only when theres a good value arrival that I should check out. In the times when we need a used Lexus rather quickly Tom searches inventory throughout the region and at the same time confirms a stellar maintenance history as thats extremely important to me. But the great service doesnt end thereChris Doyle, my service adviser, watches over and takes care of my cars like theyre his and, more importantly, like Im using his money to keep them maintained! Im a big fan of smart maintenance and since we drive cars into high mileage Chris goes over all the options of where we should put our maintenance money each time we bring a high-mileage car in for service. As Ive said before Lexus cars are great but its Chris dedication to my personal smart maintenance program that makes Lexus cars a great value. Kudos to Tom, Chris, and the entire Wayzata team!

We bought our 2nd Lexus RX from Mike and have been so pleased with our experience. We went back to the dealership and Mike because the service is excellent - from the receptionist to Mike and the service department. We already know when we are in the market for another car it will be a Lexus from Mike Gleason at Lexus of Wayzata. Mike doesn't think his job is done at the completion of the sale. We hear from him regularly to make sure we still like the car and that everything is going ok. We will definitely buy from him again and recommend him and the dealership every chance we get.

After I take the car to Lexus of Wayzata, I can drive the car anyplace and have nothing to worry about- it is taken care of-----That is what Lois(My Wife) and I enjoy because our Children Live in Denver, Kansas City, Kansas, and Englewood, Florida, and that is so nice, we can go anyplace and have no problems, cause Lexus of Wayzata has checked it all over--may sound funny but true..I could tell you some stories of other Dealerships, wehave had over the years, (not Lexus) and they are not so funny, that is why we stay with Lexus of Wayzata. I had a great experience at Lexus and with the individual helping me, Gary Anderson. I was treated with respect and kindness. Gary didnt end the communication after the sale but continues until today to call, email, or send birthday cards. He has taken the time to build a relationship; aside from the car purchase. As a customer, I feel great knowing I made the right decision, because the car is great and the service is even better. I always recommend other new car buyers to this dealership. After being recommended to see what the dealership had to offer, I highly recommend anybody looking for a vehicle to shop at Lexus of Wayzata. They run a first class shop where everybody is friendly, the atmosphere is layed back and the sales accociates are there to help you find the perfect vehichle. If they do not have the vehicle you are looking for, they will find it for you. Even if it means selling you their personal car!

We met Tom several years ago when my husband stopped in to Lexus of Wayzata to meet him. Tom had come highly recommended by a friend, and we thought the best time to meet a car salesman and see what he's really like was before we were in the market for a car. My husband told him up front that he just wanted to look around and get some ideas for when we would be looking for something different. Tom offered him the opportunity to test drive, and he did. Within a few weeks, the two of us went back and purchased one of the cars he test drove.A couple years later I needed a car. I looked at several dealerships to find something that would fit my needs and budget. My husband took me to see Tom. He was finishing up with another client, so he handed us keys for a 350RX to test drive.When we returned he had the list of available cars to choose from. We ended up taking the one we drove.Last year, due to unexpected medical bills, I needed to trade down so we could either reduce or eliminate my payments. I tried to sell my car by myself, but wasn't able to. I went back to Tom and explained our situation. He said he would take my 350RX back and give us as much as he could so I didn't have to worry about selling it. My husband and I came back to see he had that would work for us. The few that would fit our new budget were either cars I wasn't interested in, or cars Tom told us to shy away from. We left without finding a car and continued to look elsewhere. I thought I had found one elsewhere, but we just weren't sure, and the salesman was no help. We decided to think about it for a couple days. Tom called the next afternoon to see if we'd found anything yet because a car had just been traded in and he thought it would be perfect for me. We went in, drove it, and now it's mine. Tom told us from the beginning that his reputation is equal to the satisfaction of his customers. As far as we are concerned, he is a man of integrity and we are proud to be clients of Tom's.

The people I have worked with at Lexus during the past 19 years have been terrific. I have never been treated so well by a car dealership. In both sales and service, the treatment both my wife and I have have received has been absolutely fantastic! Other than the past HS250 I had, I have really liked their products. These are the two main reasons that I have purchased numerous vehicles from them.I realize that I have paid a premium for their product in that discounts on new vehicles are hard to come by until just recently and service work such as rotating tires and oil changes have been high. The market is becoming more competitive with new product offerings readily available and other manufacturers offering attractive options such as free maintenance and free car washes.Lexus still has a great product but being able to afford to drive one doesn't mean my wife and I aren't careful with what we spend our money on!

Before I visited this dealer, I was a very unhappy owner of a Chevy Tahoe. By the end of the visit, I was on the road with a fantastic used Lexus GX. It was amazing to me how well I was treated while I was there. The sales staff I worked with bent over backwards to ensure I was completely satisfied. The attention I received was such a positive change from my previous experience with the dealer I leased the Tahoe from. I would HIGHLY recommend Ignacio Garrigos to anyone who is looking for the experience to restore their faith in car sales staff.

This was my first Lexus purchasing experience, and it definitely will not be my last! Cal went above and beyond anything I have experienced at other dealerships. He was patient with me, my questions, and my desire to find "my" perfect car! He was thoughtful and genuine, which puts him a step above other dealers. Cal's follow up and attention to detail was much more than I expected! He wanted my car to be perfect and would settle for nothing less! I had been to 4 other dealerships looking at a 3 year lease program, not always being treated seriously. My first visit to Lexus of Wayzata was a solo visit. Greg Ziton was eager for me to take a test drive on a snowy day when very few cars were on the road, as he stated; today is the perfect day to see how nicely the Lexus handles. and he was right ... it handled beautifully! Greg addressed all my additional questions professionally and treated me seriously. Subsequent visits to the dealership reinforced to me they are dedicated to assisting me in any question or needs that I have.

Two things - I asked to have my car vacuumed the last time I had it serviced and the floor mats were not vacuumed. Secondly, the GPS system didn't work when I picked it up for the first time. Tom Herman said I should bring it in another time ~ it still doesn't work! Otherwise, I rate you very high as professionals. Thank you for your continued follow-up.

I like to change cars about every two years, the reason I have gone back to them for the past 5 purchases has been because of their high level of integrity, professionalism and knowledge of their cars and the industry. Previously owned a 2002 RX300 and was looking for a new car. Looked at the RX350, BMW X5 and Mercedes GL. While the BMW and Mercedes are nice cars, I kept coming back to Lexus. Drove the GX460 and absolutely fell in love. It combined the Lexus luxury with the power of an X5. Lance could not have been more helpful in my car search. As a woman shopping for a car, Lance sold the car to me and not my husband which I appreciated. I wanted to get into a car and have someone show me every feature the car had to offer and he did exactly that. He knew my timeframe for purchasing a new car and followed up with me on my schedule, not his -- something no other dealership did. My overall experience at Wayzata Lexus has always been positive. The service group is awesome (Doug Evans is the best!) While I rated the 'price' as a four, it is Lexus and you have to expect to spend some money if you are buying a car there.After having my previous Lexus for nine years and loving every moment I had with it, choosing another Lexus seemed like a no brainer. Every time I get into my GX to drive it, I know I made the right choice and it was a decision I couldn't have made without Lance.Would I recommend this dealership and especially Lance....YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!

We have leased two Lexus RX350's from Greg Z. at Lexus of Wayzata. The physical plant is excellent and usually has a large inventory of new cars. The customer waiting area is very comfortable with all the amenitees that people are looking for while waiting for service being completed. Greg is a professional car salesperson. He is not your typical high pressure car guy. He lets the product sell it self. He is very knowledgeable about the qualities and features of the product and is ready to answer any questions a customer might have. I have not heard him degrade competitor's products in his effort to sell a Lexus. Greg has also been very helpful and knowledgeable in the different purchase plans available. We selected a single payment lease plan. Our last transaction was completed by the internet and telephone. All the paper work was done in advance of delivery. Since we live 150 miles from the dealership, this is very important to us. On the delivery date Greg took extra time to explain all of the high tech features of our new vehicle and helped program a number of the features for us. Two days after taking delivery we left our home in Northern MN. for our home in FL. Everything went as expected with our new RX350. We will definetly consider other vehicle purchases from Lexus of Wayzata. Greg will be the salesperson that we consult with.

He also does a good job in following up with me about my cars, and in keeping me informed with information not only about my vehicle, but the dealership and Lexus in general. He's also willing to indulge me even when my interest in a new vehicle doesn't result in a purchase. I trust him to be a fair salesman, and I have never left Lexus disappointed in any way with the vehicles I have purchased. Greg was great to work with. He was patient with us which was huge and took the extra time to get the car we purchased in to have some scratches touched up. Our experience with him was wonderful and we would highly recommend working with him. If he were single I would set him up with my mom. That is how much we liked him! :) The only thing that we would suggest improvements upon is the finance department. It took forever to get to that point and finish our transaction. I was excited about getting a new Lexus. But I was not looking forward to the usual car buying experience. So I was pleasantly surprised when we had the opportunity to work with Gary Anderson at Lexus of Wayzata. The process was very easy. We didn't feel pressured into our purchase. And I felt that we received a fair deal with our negotiations. I love my IS250 and will definitely recommend this dealership and Gary to my friends and family.

Jamie Shapiro is the best salesperson you could ask for. We've purchased 3 cares from him, the last two at Lexus of Wayzata. We made the switch to hybrids with our previous car, a 2007 RX400h, and are currently driving a beautiful 2011 RX450h. Jamie walked us through all the info on hybrids, pros and cons. His expertise, extensive knowledge of models,and total commitment to our making a comfortable decision have made him our "go to guy" for car buying. He is simply the best of the best. The dealership is excellent in every way. It's beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. The service department couldn't be better - I love those guys. They greet me by name, give me a detailed overview of work to be done, (usually routine maintanace), then leave the last decision to me: whether to stick around and take some time in their inviting lounge, or drive off in a new Lexus loaner. It's a hard choice. The lounge is first class. Comfy club chairs, large screen tv, gormet coffee, snacks, current magazines and daily newspapers, small library and quiet office spaces equipped for working. It's a pleasure either way. This is the place folks. We are happy to recommend Jamie and Lexus of Wayzata to friends, family, and anyone who asks.

Tom was terrific, helping me to replace an RX 350 I leased starting in February 2010, which was totalled by another driver in December, 2011. He helped me to get the identical car (but a 2011 model), moving it through quickly and at a fair replacement price. Since then, service has been very good as well. The only minor glitch was my first service call, when the service agent seemed put out that I was hoping to get my car in on a short turnaround. Since then, I've gotten exemplary service and help. This is my sixth Lexus and I would continue to purchase a Lexus from Wayzata Lexus due to their friendly and courteous service. A loaner vehicle is available if service will not be done done in a short time. Their waiting lounge is business friendly if you need to use the internet or just relax and wait.

This past spring I had the pleasure of buying a car from Lexus of Wayzata. My sales professional, Cal Ryan, was a gentlemen of the first order. His knowledge of the Lexus lineup and car features was outstanding. He not only listened to what I wanted but made smart recommendations and helped me to identify the car that best suited my needs. I appreciated Cal's no-pressure approach, fast if not immediate answers to my questions and willingness to work with my difficult schedule.I've purchased several cars and have long disliked the process, especially when buying used. Surprisingly, Cal made the process enjoyable and he exceeded my expectations. The next time I'm in the market for a new vehicle I'll be calling him without hesitation. I'd also like to note the entire team at Lexus of Wayzata contributed to my positive experience.One final note. In the past I've had things stolen from cars when in the care of dealerships. When I traded in my old vehicle I left something in the car. It belonged to a client and I feared it may have disappeared. A couple days later I received a call from Cal letting me know his staff ran across the (expensive) item and he arranged for prompt return. I'm shocked to this day that the item found its way back to me.If you live in the Twin Cities and are in the market for a vehicle I STRONGLY suggest contacting Cal. the situation was different. I had just bought a car 1 month previous from this dealer and it turned out not to be the car that I needed. I asked Cal to put some numbers together for a different car. He cautioned me that I would be penalized trading the car in so soon. I realized that I made a mistake and asked that he make it painless as he could. With his help we came to a decent price with management. The dealership has always been greatr to me.

Have purchased two used cars from Cal and have had all the service on the cars performed at the dealership. Cal and Mike Vold in the service Department have been gracious and helpful at all times. Cal spent extra time with me to help me understand the new navigation system in my car as well as some of the new features such as Bluetooth and setting up the phone book. Like being able to receive a loaner car should the work be extra long and enjoy having a clean car after the work is done. Have enjoyed my experience with Lexus and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product and service.

I bought a used certified Lexus ES330 in June of 2011. I found Cal Ryan to be professional with good product knowledge. I believe he made a genuine effort to put me in a car that was right for me as opposed to just making a sale. In general I found the dealership to be very clean and customer oriented, but at a cost to me it was worth a few extra dollars.

I made an usual purchase--a used Infiniti G37, purchased sight unseen. I found the make, model and color I wanted at Lexus of Wayzata via E-bay, and did all of my negotiations by telephone. Ignacio Garrigos, who handles the internet sales for this dealership was gracious and completely honest over the telephone. He worked with me by phone and e-mail on all the details, and then picked me up at the airport and took me to the dealership. Everything was in perfect order, and I had the car purchased and was literally on the road within 30 minutes. And the car was everything Ignacio and the dealership said it was--in absolutely perfect condition--and I should know, my test drive home was 2,000 miles, all the way to San Francisco, California.

My experience with the Lexus Dealership of Wayzata and Cal Ryan was a very satisfying experience. Cal showed me vehicles I was interested in and helped me decide which one would meet my needs. There was never any pressure to buy. He was very knowledgable about the car and answered all of my questions. When I came to pick up the car there was a scratch on one of the side mirrors. I ended up deciding that I wanted it fixed and it was done without any problem. The car looked like a brand new car when I bought it even though it was a preowned vehicle. Everyone was very professional and more than helpful at all times. I have already recommended the dealership and Cal Ryan to two of my friends.

It is my pleasure to recommend Lexus of Wayzata to anyone with car shopping or repair needs. I have been a customer for approximately 8 years and have purchased 3 preowned cars from this dealership. I would like to share some of these excellent experiences with you.1.) Tom Herman. He has sold me all three of my cars. He takes the time to understand what I am looking for and what my wants versus needs are. He even goes so far as to tell me things like "Karl- you don't really want that... those things are overrated". He has always been over-the-top honest and fair. He has worked with the Lexus of Wayzata financing team to provide me the best value on my trade in and the "new" car. He will always be my #1 choice for a salesperson. I have referred people to him, and they echo this experience. Tom is A+ all around. In addition, he wears cool glasses.2.) The service center. I can only say good things about the service center. I have done about 50% of my servicing at Lexus of Wayzata. (the other 50% of the time I did not live nearby). A couple of highly positive experiences that will never go unnoticed are the following: - Once I brought my car in and the gas light was on. The service folks filled up my tank completely and did not charge me. - Once I brought my car in for an oil change. The service person noticed a scratch on my bumper from the parking lot. He filled the scratch with the appropriate paint and gave me a vial of matched paint. No charge. No request. Just plain attention to detail. - Every time I bring it in I get a free car wash, a bottle of water, and a mint on my dashboard. - The waiting lounge is fantastic. There are treats, soda, coffee, sadly no beer.3.) Lexus (the manufacturer). They go above an beyond for their customers. My most recent purchase (IS350, 2006) was recalled for valve spring replacement. I had to bring the vehicle in for servicing. The car was serviced within one day (props to LofW). Moreover, because of the inconvenience, Lexus of Wayzata gave me loaner car (though I could not convince them to give me a convertible!). A little over-the-top. 2.) A letter containing a coupon for $1500 off of any new car. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. If you are in the market for an automobile. Call Tom Herman. He will take care of you. You will feel like you are the most important person in the building.

I was in the market for a used vehicle and not being able to find what I was looking for locally began searching the Internet. I came across your website and through inquiries met and corresponded with Jon Stusse. Jon and I exchanged particulars and details of what I was looking for and the price range I was comfortable with. At no time did Jon use any pressure to make a purchase. Ty was very responsive to our request to purchase a new RX. He presented us options, worked with us to pick the right model for us, and presented a fair price. When I was buying the car the salesperson was very patient and not pushy or aggressive. Took his time and answered all my questions concisly. Always returned my calls promptly. They have alway taken very good care of my car and my needs as it pertains to the car. The last time it was serviced they employees involved went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with what they were doing and why they were doing it.I had to take it back a couple times and they were very accomidating about giving me a car that I needed for my business.

Worked with Mike Dalton and Ty Oprish to find the Lexus model that was best suited for me, either IS or ES models, they were very patient as they wanted to fit me in the correct model-what was nice was that price was not really a factor at this time but rather correct model style. When we finalized on the ES350 then the color, year and price came into the process. Once we found the car they gave me a fair assessment and value of my car and discussed the list price of the car I had chosen..., being a previous Lexus of Wayzata buyer and working with both Mike and Ty gave me the confidence that they wanted to work within my budget and select the proper car for me along with color, model, features etc..., they were able to work with me and finalized financing all within a reasonable period of time. In addition I would like to add kudos to both Doug Evans and Shawn Moorehead as excellent Service Reps for Lexus and have always been friendly and detailed with service if needed and are always welcoming to the dealership-a strong customer service attitude!

As I looked for a used car, I was treated respectfully and was not pressured at any point. I was able to negotiate what I thought a fair price on the car and was offered a fair price for my trade-in. As part of the deal, I received a new set of tires and the sales people suggested I use the old tires over the winter and have the new ones installed in spring, which I did. I have to say that the surroundings and service made me wish I lived closer so they could regularly service the car I bought. At every point they exceeded my expectations.

Jan and all of the folks that work at Lexus of Wayzata have been helpful, both in person and in response to telephone or e-mail questions. When we have taken our car in for service, the work has been done promptly and well. Whenever we have come into the dealership, Jan has gone out of her way to be there and to make sure we are well taken care of.

I don't know where to start. I had a great experience from beginning to end. I worked with Tom in the used car department and he was great! I had never bought a car by myself before, my husband always took care of that for me, and Tom made it easy. I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed and nervous to do this solo, but he walked me through what I needed to do, and in my opnion I left Lexus with a great deal and a perfect GX 470! The price was better than any other dealer in town for the truck I bought and it runs perfectly and looks even better than perfect! I love it!! I will tell my friends about Tom and Lexus of Wayzata for sure!

I looked at Lexus in 2008 or 2009 and wasn't happy with my visit, so I kept my old car. I went again in 2011 and worked with Lance Oldre. He had contacted me earlier when he reviewed my previous visit notes, and worked with me on buying a new car. The experience was completely different. Lance treated me fairly, he didn't walk off to have some secret conversations with "management", he showed me the options and prices I could get, there was NO pressure and he was completely flexible in meeting my schedule. Buying a car just went from my least favorite thing to do to something manageable. I would recommend Lance in a heartbeat to anyone interested in buying a Lexus and I will definitely pass on his name for referrals. It was a pleasure working with Lance!

Treats my wife and I special even though we are buying mid-priced used Lexus.Service Department Ross always takes care of problems and fixing them ASAP. 2 cars have been serviced by Lexus of Wayzata to over 250,000 miles. Both worked great even when trading in, just wanted a newer model.

I had leased a car from this dealership three years prior and was interested in changing to a different model vehicle. The sales associate I had worked with for the lease had moved on and I was put in touch with Josh Smith when I called in to see what my options were. We discussed what I was looking for over the phone. He was very flexible as far as setting up an appointment that worked best for my schedule and knowledgeable about their vehicles and details pertaining to the termination of my lease. When I came in he was timely and organized. I felt very comfortable and not pressured in to making any decisions. I ultimately purchased a new vehicle. When the car was delivered to me, Josh took extra time to help me set up the navigation and thoroughly went over all of the features the car had to offer. Having worked with the dealership three years prior I was already impressed with the service department, financial department and dealership overall. Purchasing a car is a big investment and can be somewhat stressful. Josh was very easy to work with due to his high level of competency, fun personality and excellent customer service.

The reasons why I have given this dealership such a high rating is because of Russell Lawrentz's honesty in working with us in purchasing 3 cars at Lexus of Wayzata. We have great respect in his integrity. He put our interests first and provided solutions to our needs in an approach that positively impacted our family regarding our budget and desired car performance. Overall, Lexus provides great service on our vehicles and has been proactive in handling issues that may arise. In one instance, our power transmission failed to early, and Lexus helped with the costs and worked with headquarters to help with the cost of replacement. I have only high marks for Lexus of Wayzata and especially Russell Lawrentz!

Val is an excellent salesman and never gives up - I had my first Lexus for 8 years. (We still have it and our son drives it.) He kept in touch with me throughout that time and sold me another car. Chris Doyle makes the service dept. He is another reason I did not look at other kinds of cars. His attention to detail and customer service is first class.

I have given the rating I provided largely because of Tom Hermann. Tom is an amazing sales professional! He was a phenomenal resource and very supportive throughout the entire sales process. He asked the questions necessary to understand my needs and then recommended a solution based on my budget and personal situation. Lexus sales people can learn from his expertise and tenured experience. The dealership forced him to split the commission with another sales rep because I called the dealership and this man simply fielded the call. Tom deserves credit and commission for the full sale.

I have been buying Lexus vehicles since 1994 because of their extremely high reliability, safety and build quality.I stopped buying American cars (I owned a Buick Park Ave) because they kept breaking down, I spent $5000 in the period of 5 months on a new transmission and engine at only 90,000 miles. I have never had any problems with Lexus cars, the service is great, people are friendly and it is close to my home. I will continue to buy Lexus cars for my daughters in a few years. You pay for the quality with a lexus and htis dealership but it is definitely worth it! i just wish that they could have supplied more current updates on the status of delivery of the new compact. Tim displeased my wife by not returning one of her phone calls. Aside from that bobble, the sales and the service at Lof W have never failed to deliver the highest level of service. They are not perfect yet but are trying hard. Please keep up the great work!

As always, the service I get from LEXUS OF WAYZATA is worth the 45 mile drive for me. I know I will be well taken care of and treated fairly and honestly. The waiting room area is second to none and a great place to wait either by myself or with my children in the pay area. The special touches like leaving a mint and water on your dash at the end of service are really above and beyond and make the customer feel as if they are appreciated. In this ecomomy, there are cheaper places to get my car serviced, but we keep coming back because of the friendliness of the dealership and the superb service. Thanks to Tom Bennett for always taking care of us. If he is not available, he puts us in the capable hands of one of his co-workers. We made the deal on the phone because I live in Sioux Falls and wasn't able to drive up. This was my fist purchase of a lexus and I hope it won't be the last. My sales executive, Jon Stusse, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. All employees we have been involved with to date have been very courteous and helpful. I would certainly recommend Lexus of Wayzata to anyone interested in a stress free car purchase.

I was very satisfied with my transaction at Lexus. I had a specific budget and wanted a specific car. They helped me achieve this and didnt push me into something I couldnt afford, which every other dealership I have ever dealt with has done. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and I love my car.

Cal Ryan was very helpful in answering my questions and giving me a test drive for my Lexus ES 350 2011. My preferred color (champaigne) had to be shipped in but arrived quickly. Paperwork for purchase was handled quickly and smoothly; trade-in value on my Buick Lucerne was reaonable.

This is the third purchase I have made from Jan Engel at Lexus and she has been wonderful to work with each time. Jan is very good at understanding what your car needs are and matching a car accordingly. She has excellent commmunication skills (in person, phone, email) and timely follow up. Jan Engel has provided beyond outstanding service to me over many years. I have purchased three vehicles from Jan. Like many women, I have found purchasing an automobile to be a stressful experience until I met Jan. She carefully learned about my needs and then made me aware of all the reasons why a given vehicle would be just right for me and my family. Jan is thoughtful, caring, has a good sense of humor and is overall very likeable. Bottom line, buying a vehicle from Jan has been a very enjoyable experience each time. My plans in the future are to always buy a Lexus and to always deal with the one and only Jan Engel.Ross Bingham in service also provides exceptional service. After spending the day shopping for a car for my son and visiting several local dealerships Jamie was a breath of fresh air. He found us the perfect car and managed to complete the sale without making it a lot of work. I bought my car April 2010 from Jan Engel. She is a great sales person. Not pushy, straightforward and honest. I bought the car - a RX 450H and absolutely love it.I have not had one service issue with the car. Just had the 15K maintenance done, the service folks are very easy to work with and make sure everything is handled correctly.I highly recommend Jan and the Lexus of Wayzata dealership.

Jan Engel is "old school" professional. She has customer service skills that are rare these days and she is completely up to date on the product and the industry. Everyone who has bought cars... knows what there is to not like in the car shopping world. I encountered none of this. The place is easy to reach... a pleasant location to visit. Customers are welcome guests. There is room to breathe. My wife has developed a logical distaste for car shopping... which leaves me in charge of connecting her to something she will like.I shop sales persons. I knew my wife would like Jan. I knew she would like the car. All I had to do was get them together. Jan made a house call. She made it easy for my wife. When I came in to pick up the vehicle Jan had fulfilled the company promise for perfect delivery condition. Really... when I buy a new car... I don't want to have to finish the detail work myself. Jan had noted my preference for sitting in the sunshine and that is where we did the paperwork, so as to keep me as comfortable as I get. I got very frank helpful information from Lexus of Wayzata. I am an old guy who has bought many vehicles. Jan Engel and her company really made it pleasant. I also picked up evidence that Lexus/Toyota people treat each other with respect. Excellent individualized attention by Tim Bastyr at this dealership. I just ordered my fifth Lexus through him over the last 15 years or so. Once, when I could not get to the dealership to pick up my new plates, he not only brought them to my place of employment, he put them on the car while I was working. (He may wish I hadn't mentioned that!) The pre-owned cars from this dealership that I have purchased were perfect. They even did a free a paint touch up after the warranty on my LX470 expired because they said the bumper paint flaking "should not happen to a Lexus".

My experience, with Ms. Engle at this dealership, has been beyond positive. I have purchased three automobiles from her and she has always made the experience very easy by familiarizing herself with my family and our various needs ( for myself, my wife and our children). It is because of Ms. Engle that I would not consider purchasing any other make of car or a Lexus from any other dealer.

As a retired senior Naval Officer, I find it beneficial to go out of ones way to provide feedback when employees exceed representation of their employers. I have previously commented generally the Bennett dealership and individually the salesperson (Tom Hermon) and service representative(Chris Doyle) with whom I routinely have contact. I failed to mention the reception staff (Anne, Karen and Kaye) who are the first contact with the public as you enter the facility, or call: all three are more than exceptional in their demeanor, ability, use of the English language, appearance and just general skilled on interface with the customers. I have my car serviced regularly at Lexus of Wayzata MN. I always work directly with Shawn Moorhead - he is knowledgeable, professional and always provides exceptional service. I have recommended Lexus to friends and always refer them to Shawn. My Lexus RS350 is a great car. NOTE that my next car must be much more fuel efficient and I hope Lexus takes this seriously and will lead the industry in this area.

We were very pleased with our purchase expeience with Lexus of Wayzata, in particular of course because of the individuals we dealt with during our purchase. We dealt with Tom Poppler who dealt with us specifically as our contact point and sales person, who exposed us to the SUV we decided to purchase, the Lexus RX 350. Also we dealt with Jim in the Accounting Department, who took us through the forms and the purchase itself.We were very pleased with the knowledge and the professionalism of both Tom and Jim; everything went smoothly and quickly, especially once we arrived at the dealership to purchase the car. We don't think it could have been a more pleasant experince for us both. We also would like to commend the dealer for the level of comfort available to the customer, all the way to the waiting areas, which include a quiet area and a TV area, along with a generous area with water, soft drinks and snacks. Also we were treated with the extra amenity of having a loaner car to use; instead of waiting we had the alternative to go out for lunch while opur car was being worked on, when we returned to have services done.We have had a couple of issues that were explained or arrangements were made, with followup, to deal with them.Overall, our experience was excellent, especially in comparison with other dealers.

I enjoy bringing my car in to Lexus of Wayzata as they have always provided fast and friendly service with no hassle. Estimated times are always spot on and amenities provided while I wait are top notch. Mr. DeJong in particular has become the service adviser I've come to trust. He always is friendly and helpful when dealing with the maintenance of my vehicle. To Lexus's credit, I have never had an issue after 30,000 miles beyond routine maintenance.

We were introduced to Jim Kirchner who was very Positive, Professional,Courteous, Kind, and Knowledgeable. We wanted to trade our 2005 RX339 for one of the loaner RX350s. SO we looked around and Jim helped us finda vehicle that we liked a lot. He was able to give us what we wanted forour trade, with the options we wanted on the 2010 RX350. The thing we liked about Jim was his genuine interest in helping us, WITHOUT any high pressure sales at all. Jim has outstanding "People Skills", that enhance his ability to help the buyer/customer in a genuine manner. We have since enjoyed hia warm personality via e-mail to the point thatwe feel he have known him for many years. Ignatio treated us with a warm, friendly as we;; as respectful attitude when we were considering a new car. He knew the product well without being overly technical and thoughtfully explained the merits of his dealership. Largely, because of his professional attitude and warm welcoming presence we feel very at home at Lexus of Wayzata. The trip to a car dealer used to resemble a trip to the dentist; now I will even stop at times to renew a friendship, look at cars,and just feel good about stopping in. By the way we have just purchased our third car from Ignatio, two new and one used. The used car, a convertible was personally delivered to our home during a winter snowstorm in Minnesota. Hope springs eternal in the upper Midwest.

I recently bought my 2010 RX350 from Jim Kirchner at Lexus of Wayzata and was delighted with the professional and prompt way he and the dealership handled the transaction. It was a wonderful experience!Jim went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The transaction was further complicated by me being in California, being a Canadian resident, additional requirements of advising US border authorities, Canadian importation requirements that you normally dont have to handle and dealing with a new customer in transit. Jim kept looking for solutions and promptly communicating them to me by e-mail or phone and even picked me up at the airport. I have never experienced such thoughtful, courteous and thorough customer service when buying an automobile.This was the first time I have ever bought a vehicle in the US over the internet and would have no problem at all doing it again with Jim and the Lexus of Wayzata dealership. I have bought three vehicles from Bryan Grotte at Lexus of Wayzata. My experiences there have been very different than what I have had at other dealerships. They have a low-pressure environment, fair pricing and are very honest. Ive really enjoyed each vehicle I have purchased there and feel completely satisfied with each outcome. With each of my purchases Ive never felt pressured or rushed during the process and the entire experience was laid back, low-key and actually enjoyable. The customer service after the sale has also been exceptional and everyone seems to be very eager to help and accommodate. Each department has a great attitude and very friendly. The entire area (building and grounds) was immaculate. The customer lounge area was superb with beverage area, child playroom, library, computer work stations, large screen television with comfortable chairs, phone chargers and magazines. Our interaction with Greg Loop our salesperson was fantastic. He discussed our needs with us and we drove several vehicles and found the ones we needed. The finance person, Scott Houghland, was very knowledgeable about the entire process and discussed several options for us which led us to making a great decision on us buying two vehicles.

With two new teenage drivers hitting the streets, our busy family knew we needed to add a vehicle to keep the peace. We contacted Jim Kirchner at Lexus of Wayzata, who asked us all the right questions to determine the type of car that would best satisfy the varying preferences of four different drivers - as well as accomodate the family budget! It did not take Jim long to identify the right car to match our needs; a perfect condition, pre-loved ES-300. Jim also went the extra mile to make sure that any scheduled preventative maintenance was completed in conjunction with the sale. Overall, a very positive experience - one that definitely inclines me to return to Lexus of Wayzata to do business with Jimmy K in the future!And keep those biscotti cookies in the customer lounge - my wife loves 'em!

I had previous experience with the Mitsubishi location owned by the same owner of Lexus of Wayzata and enjoyed that relationship. When I entered the Lexus building I was met with amazing friendliness in the person of Tom Herman. He did, and does, everything, and more, than one could ask when showing your product. We were looking for a small SUV and wanted to know more about the RX 350 so we went to the Wayzata store. Mr. Loop first asked us what type of equipment we would like in the vehicle and went on to fully explain the RX 350, the Certification Program they have for the used vehicles they sell. and also show us several vehicles. They had several to choose from so we were able to find the combination we wanted. Which isn't always easy to do when buying a used vehicle. Everyone we met at the dealership was very courteous and professional, any questions we had about the vehicle Mr. Loop was able to answer. We LOVE our RX 350 and would highly recommend Mr. Loop and Lexus of Wayzata.

My wife and I appreciated how there was not any pressure to buy the car we were looking at. Our salesman, Mike Gleason was very friendly,helpful, and he explained the inspection that all used cars receive including the car we were looking at.The dealership is very nice as well. Also once we decided to purchase the car Mr. Gleason made sure we were satisfied and he also got the car ready to leave very quickly.I would recommend both the dealership and our salesman Mr. Gleason to anyone.

I am in my first week of owning my IS 250 and LOVING IT! Ignacio is an outstanding individual. He IS the reason I came back to your location in order to ensure there was another opportunity to gain my business. I had been looking on and off for 8 months whereas seeing him last fall. I was not ready to buy at that time, but knew if it were to happen it would. He kept in touch with me on and off with no expectations nor pressure (I am not one for someone who is pushy nor demanding).I reached out to him this last week and talked wtih him about opportunities at which time the cars available did not fit within my realm of options. With that said he was still a great support and open to discuss other possibilities even if not at his location. I appreciate the time, care and quality taken by him when it came to MY purchase. This was a huge purchase for me just in the grand scheme of life. It is that big purchase beyond a house and you want to make sure it is RIGHT. Well enough said..it was, is and will continue to impress me for years to come. As I told Ignacio when I traded my VW in..I hugged it and cried. They are part of me as my IS already is and will continue to be down the road. I met Ignacio in the fall of 2010 and bought a 2005 Lexus from him. After the snow storms in Dec. I got stuck 4 times in one day. I didn't realize it had rear wheel drive - I was probably told but it didn't "register." He knew I wasn't happy with it so they worked with me to trade it for a 2007 front wheel drive. I've been very happy with it and pleased with the service. Ignacio is a guy who puts his customers first and makes sure all their concerns are met - and he's "funny"

Ignacio Garrigos was a tremendous help in finding us the car that we wanted at a price that we were comfortable with! The management staff was very helpful in presenting options that would make our purchase the best it could be. I can honestly say that I now know what the "Lexus Experience" is, and it is worth every penny!The service team was also great in getting our car details, certified, and ready to go. We were also able to arrange fantastic financing right at the dealership (better than the best credit union rate in town). A qucik trip to the parts department got us the few accessories that we needed such as custom floor mats, etc, and we were on our way.I can't say enough good things about this dealership and the sales team that they employee. A very low pressure and service oriented experience. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, this dealership has made me a loyal Lexus customer. Ignacio sold me my IS 350, and I have loved it for the year that I have owned it. Unlike carbuyer99 in the reviews, Ignacio followed up with me consistently for a few months after the sale, making sure i am enjoying the car.The last time I was in for an oil change, i was in the waiting room, and Mike Dalton (sales manager) came over and asked how i am enjoying my IS 350. Very impressive. The most value i have taken to heart though came from this last week's experience. I had my car broken into through the driver's side window unfortunately, and called in to get my car scheduled for repair. As this whole event was extremely overwhelming with identity theft, on top of my stolen items, and vandalized car, Michael took the time to find out the detail of damage done to the car so that he could offer some solutions in dealing with insurance companies and claims. Without getting into the specifics, he went above and beyond service. He made me feel like he really cared my situation--and candidly, the route I took with my insurance company was different because of his advice.Furthermore, the following day of the break-in, my boyfriend took my car in for me to the dealership....I later received a text from him that said "Wow, it's amazing the way the treat you as a customer here. Lexus definitely has my business in the future."

Had an issue with the brakes. They said they would replace the pads. All they did was spray something on them to get rids of the noise; but just for a while. I went to my Toyota dealership for the rest of the work on them. Generally, the cost of repair work here is twice what it costs me at Toyota.

Ordered a Lexus at an agreed upon price in writing with managers handshake and signature. 2 days later was called to say a mistake was made and it would cost $1635 more! We offered to go up $500 and they refused to do the deal at that price. The manager was offensive and rude considering they made the mistake. They have a monopoly in the Twin Cities and don't feel they need to honor their contracts in a fair way. I definitely would not purchase a car from their sales department.

Purchased new IS250. Had the car exactly 1 month. Still no calls or contact from the dealership other than a computer generated postcard. I expect a personal thank you or some type of contact from the sales person or dealership, but nothing...It's been 30 days and no calls that the plates are in. Driving around with expired registration as of 6/21....So much for the Lexus experience.... Finally called sales mgr today, he called back 10 min before closing and "was going to have someone come out and put them on, but since we're closing they wouldn't make it"... I got an apology and he suggested the he switch me to a different sales rep...can't wait....

Bought the car from here. Had some issues a few months back and brought it in. The car was out of warranty. I got a free loaner for the day. I recieved a call in the afternoon with my estimate of 2.5k for parts/labor. I come in and talk to the tech. I decline the service after calling some people for advice. Waited 45mins to have my car washed (I think they tried to make my car worse) I get my car back and its worse than when I brought it in. I was charged an hour of shop labor (reasonable price) but I don't think they even looked at my car. I brought it home and ended up doing a fluid flush with a buddy in his garage and the car has been working fine since. Its been 2 months now. So all in all i paid about $130 for a loaner and car wash. I want to add that the sales experience initially was good. The service during the warranty period was ok. I had to bring the car in multiple times for an issue where they kepts "resetting" it until I finally spoke up about it then they replaced the item. I don't think I'd purchase another luxary auto any time soon. They are a nightmare to deal with esp when there are only 2 dealerships in town.
