Long story short I worked out a deal with one of the super friendly staff that works here. He was willing to send videos of the car we agreed on a price based on the condition he disclosed and I bought a one way plane ticket out there to drive it back. I knew I was paying over book value but I assumed he knew and disclosed the issues. When I arrived there were more issues in the paint than he disclosed the tires were in need of replacement (scary considering my long winter drive ahead) the sunroof was damaged and a few other minor things. Worst of all however was the fact that the entire infotainment system was in-operable. This cost me $1700 alone to replace. I did not expect any of these issues to be that expensive. When I called and requested at least some reimbursement they of course refused to pay any amount back. I did buy the car as is but they were not exactly honest. Whatever you do do not trust them to tell the truth about a problem bring your own mechanic and do your research. They took advantage of my situation and I was a fool to trust them.

We were looking at the 2013 Ford Raptor and had been working with them for about 2 weeks. The add on car guru said and they that there were no issues with the truck and during that 2 weeks that we had been conversing with them, they gave us no indication that there were any issues with the truck. We decided to allow them to run our credit even though the big-ticket item would cause a big dig on our credit score and we knew that if we where not approved for the loan, it would take almost a year for our credit to be back to what it was before the credit check. We drove for over an hour to get to the car lot and as soon as we get there, the sales man started telling us that there where dummy lights coming on and their mechanic couldn’t figure out why and that there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Then he tells us that the Ford dealership couldn’t even figure out why they where coming on. He sent us for a test drive with no gas and we couldn’t make it back to the car lot without putting our own money in the tank, even though he reimbursed us the money, it was still a big inconvenience. The truck drove great and we fell in love with it. We took it our own mechanic to get it checked out and when we got to the dealership and the mechanic looked it over and came out with a laundry list of issues with that truck. It would cost more to fix those issues than the truck was worth. It had been so ragged out that it would break down totally in about 3 months. The truck wasn’t even worth half of what they are asking. So the car lot wasted our time and gas going all the way to Denver and the money we spent getting the truck looked at by mechanic not to mention if they had been honest with us from the beginning, our credit would not have had that big hit on it and we wouldn’t have been put through the emotional ringer that we were put through. The people at this car lot are crooks and are lying to people about the condition of the vehicles on their lot. They are only in it for the money. They are not interested in taking care of their customers. And that truck, don’t buy it unless you are looking for a money pit.
