I will be able to recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great experience and a great vehicle. There was no high pressure throughout the process, they took their time with me and let me drive the vehicle on the freeway and around town to really get a get feel for it. I came back three times before I was able to make the final decision. I'm glad to have my new Azura, love it!

I had been working with Cody Panzer for over a year for a specific car, with a specific payment range and down payment, etc. Cody kept in touch with me about my progress for finding a vehicle, but was never pushy. He knew what I wanted and was keeping an eye out for the perfect car. When one came in, he called to see if I was still interested and we set up an appointment. This was my second car purchase with this dealership. It's never super fun to buy a car with all the haggling, but this was super easy. This service shop was also great with handling the arrival of my disabled car, and estimate to repair.Finding out the timing belt was gone, they gave us plenty of time to figure out what to do... repair or purchase. We decided to purchase a new vehicle, and it was one of the easiest processes we have ever gone through. The hardest part was finding someone to junk the car, which we finally did! Maybe the dealer might have a backup plan for buyers like ourselves.And despite paying the $125 estimate, we are still very pleased with this dealer!

I brought my wife's Sonata in for a pre-paid oil change service at my appointment time of 10:45. There was at least six cars in line for some type of service. I thought I would be there for hours, however they completed the service under forty five minutes. I could hardly believe the speed.Great job.

Well we was in the market for second car.. I went on credit karma to check something things out with my credit.. I seen you can fill out a application and they sent it over to Lithia Hyundai of Reno.. When in a few mins there was a Voice mail on the home fun and email.from Rod Allen.. I did everything through email.. All this happens on 9/29/16// Well on 9/30/16 at 3pm i went down and met Rod Allen and we went over numbers and they said they was able to help us.. He showed me a 2012 Chrysler 200.. It looked real dirty and it still need to be inspected.. I guess they just got it in from some where... So that day we signed papers and the car was not going to be ready until Saturday. Well the car need some TLC so now it was not going to be ready until Tuesday which was fine with us.. On Tuesday got a call in the morning at picked it up at 3pm.. I was shocked I had a bad experience at one of there other Lithia dealership.. Well i think a lot different of Lithia know... If you are in the market for a car.. CAll Rod Allen and tell him I sent you.. The service there in the sales part was wonderful we will see when i come back for a oil change in Jan 2017 and then i will rate there service department... BIG THANKS to Lithia Hyundai of Reno and to Rod Allen for the best Customer service i ever got at Lithia

I wasn't really intending on buying a car THAT day, but I was considering one in the near future. I wasn't even sure what kind of car that I really wanted. I've had a Hyundai in the past and it was a very good car. So we stopped at the dealership. Rod Allen gave us just enough time to look around before he came out. I really hate being attacked the moment I leave my car. He showed us the differences between the different Santa Fes on the lot. He was also willing to discuss the price differences. He took us on a satisfactory test drive. I wanted to make sure it had enough power to climb the grade home everyday without slowing people behind me down. When we settled on the one that I liked, he led us through the financing and understood when I told him that I had worked very hard get my credit score and wasn't willing to take on high payments that could be an issue at a later date. After all, I didn't NEED another car. Mine was only 4 years old. I just thought it would be nice to have an suv. Long story short, he worked hard to get me as close to my comfort zone as he could. It was very close indeed! I would definitely go back to Rod or advise anyone I know to talk to him if they are thinking of purchasing a new car.

I have worked with several dealerships in the past sometimes taking several days to get an answer on financing. Lithia did away with this experience by working with me. I thought it would take another several days and yet I was in and out in my new car in several hours. More importantly, I agreed to a very nice interest rate financing only to get a call several days later that they found a much lower rate for me with gap insurance. WOW!!! You already had my money, signed, sealed, and delivered and yet they continued to fight for me by finding me a better deal. I simply have no more words to say other than I am extremely impressed with this dealership and will continue to go back to them in the future.

Dont EVER go to this dealership.My mother, a 75 year old senior citizen, had Lithia Hyundai of Reno replace her front axles in her 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 4 Wheel Drive . Currently Hyundai only manufactures All Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive SUVs. So Lithia Hyundai of Reno is confused that this car is a 4 Wheel Drive. This dealer ordered the front axles from NAPA Auto Parts. NAPA only sells All Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive axles for this SUV, they do not carry 4 Wheel Drive axles for a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 4x4. Why would a dealership use aftermarket parts??? When they installed the wrong axles, they fit, but a bit short. The car appeared to be drivable, we were guaranteed that only original OEM Parts would be used. My mother went on one trip to California and the axles being shorter (Incorrect axles) pulled themselves out of the transfer 4 Wheel Drive case. This caused all of the fluid to leak out of the transfer case, which then blew up the $6,800 case. which my mother ordered a slightly used Transfer Case to replace it. My mother had to pay Capital Hyundai in San Jose California to swap the transfer case, In addition; pay an additional amount to replace both axles and do the right job this time at Automotion repair shop, which they wrote a huge report on this issue. My mother is out a total of $3,500, the service manager Bill and Store Manager Dylan refused to refund the money back to my mother. Using wrong axles could have locked the car up and created a fatality. We thought we could trust a dealership to do the job right!! This link has proof of evidence lothiahyundairenonv.com

When we went to the dealership. We were greeted by Mr. Joe Collazo and I expressed a desire to purchase another Elantra, in the past. I've purchased a 1990 & currently own a 2002 Elantra. I've loved the cars and wanted another in a stick shift once more. However, I was told Hyundai didn't make them in a stick shift any more. Needless to say I was disappointed, but Mr. Collazo showed me many other cars I might be interested in. I couldn't seem to find anything I really liked in a smaller car. We went for about 3 test drives, but I wasn't finding anything I really liked. (Mr. Collazo was so pleasant & patient). So my husband said "You love our Sonata, why not get another one?" I loved the idea! So Mr. Collazo said "Why don't we take a walk and you can check out the Sonatas and maybe one will be to your liking." We spent about 20 minutes walking around--I wasn't finding one with all the features I wanted, when suddenly a black Sonata Limited caught my eye! I read all the items it came with & Mr. Collazo stated it had just arrived. He quickly got the key so we could check out the interior. I fell in LOVE with the car and told him I wanted it! My husband liked it too! Mr. Collazo told us we couldn't test drive it because it had plastic on the seats--it had just arrived and it had to be inventoried & detailed. That was on a Saturday. We asked if we could come back on Monday to check out car and he said we certainly could be he wouldn't be working that day, however, he introduced us to Mr. JJ Collazo who would take care of us. When we returned on Monday we were warmly greeted by Mr. JJ Collazo and asked if we would like coffee or water before we started paperwork. When we completed all the necessary paperwork, he took it to finance manager and said "Would you like to see your car?" Unbeknownst to my husband and I, he had the car brought out in front! He went into great deal about all the features and said after credit approval and signing paperwork he would sync our phones and give us more detailed information about the car and the various features. He then gave us a card and asked if we'd be interested in the 'NEW CAR OWNER ORIENTATION.' He explained it was something new LITHIA HYUNDAI offered to new car owners. There would be representatives from the dealership to answer any questions we had pertains to our new cars. WOW! Never heard that being done before. We placed our reservation for the following week. We met with Mr. David Lenmox, Finance Manager who went over all our paper work and was extremely courteous and answered patiently all questions we had. We had concerns buying our car out of state as we are California residents, but Mr. Lennox explained everything to us that we needed to do at DMV in CA. When we finished we met once again with Mr. JJ Collazo, who took us to the car and for the next hour gave us an overview of all the features and synced our phones. We didn't take car home that day as we had gone to Hot August Nights and had driven two up in two cars, our 2013 Sonata & our '69 Camero. We thought since we were coming back up for the orientation, we would get the car then. After we got home, we gave it some thought and my husband didn't want to drive up there together and drive two cars home again. I wrote to JJ Collazo, and asked if there was any possibility of delivering the car to us. He checked with his manager and was given the OK! On Saturday, car was delivered to us at our home by JJ Collazo! Talk about SERVICE!!! Needless to say, we are two EXTREMELY satisfied and happy customers! Thank you LITHIA HYUNDIA & JJ Collazo! It's a good thing it WAS delivered; the New Car Orientation was cancelled and rescheduled for next month. which we plan to attend.

I came in and met Ronny to buy my wife a new car (Hyundai #3)-due to time restrctions I had to leave, upon my return a few days later Bryan picked up where we left off. He communicated with Ronny at home to get the deal done and respected my limited time for the transaction. Ronny even came in on his day off to thank me for my continued loyalty. There was some confusion on the oil service agreement which was fixed the next day and had refund check ready. I had a similar issue with Lithia Jeep on a purchase three weeks prior that was still unresolved. I took my refund check to Jeep to ask why they could not match the quality of service at Hyundai. This motivaded Jeep to get my Refund check but it took them 23 days total. I have to thank Lance and the staff also for 13 years of stress free service.

Ive lived in several states during my career and have bought many vehicles all over the country. Reno Hyundai treats a person like family. From the manager on down, if there is a problem its solved. WE own a Genesis and the a/c was not working properly. Jeremy the service technician and Lance the service advisor, worked with my vehicle on and off for nearly 3 weeks before the problem was isolated and corrected. I was given a loaner vehicle and Lance took care of our extended Hyundai warranty which covered everything. We have purchased 2 cars from this dealership in the 3 years we have lived in Reno. Brian Ogg our salesman , is extremely honest and up front. we have sent several people to this dealership and they have been happy with the dedicated service these folks provide. When its time to buy another car, we will be going to this dealership. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled to be Genses owners. So I'm getting ready to return my leased Elentra. Brought my original paper work with me; I am in another state. Had 6981.97 down. They over charged me on the car. After the new dealership did my numbers off of my paper work from lithos. My payments should have been $55.00 a month. What were my payments. 178.77. They were planning for me to return it to lithos in Reno. I moved and the new dealership were I'm returning it is shocked. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS

This is the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing a car. I am still waiting for things I was promised I would get, my car was not clean when I received it and I had to have hard water stains professionally removed from the windows because they actually delivered the car to me in that dirty of a condition.

Felt like there wasn't much knowledge about my car. Salesman was unprofessional. I love my car, however I felt that compared to the other car I was looking at it was a higher price for not much difference. My car does not have GPS or cooling seats which is really the only reason I bought the car.

The salesman was nice but just plain obsequious. Sorry Rod. Some manager and he pushed us very hard to sign up for Blue Link... even though we were not interested. Rod kept pushing and pushing us to fill out this survey with the highest marks. And then he said it over and over again. He even called us to check and mentioned it one more time. For some reason we had to wair hours to meet with the F&I guy (David Wolpe) who was deriding (we had our own financing, knew what we wanted, etc.). In other words... as customers, we brought no joy to the salesperson or to F&I. The saving grace for this location is Scott Robert.

Went and looked at a GT sticker price is $20,000. Salesmen tells us with discounts and incentives it will be around $18,000 to $17,000. We go into wheel and deal and loan guy comes in and the price jumped to $23,000. xxx, he tells me that the $20,000 is after the rebates. No it wasn't, don't lie. I walked out don't need that kind of integerty.

Not much communication about why my wife and I sat there for an exceedingly long time for being so little amount of customers inside the showroom, but somewhat expected. Some of the tertiary employees were somewhat unprofessional, however our direct sales representatives were awesome. The pros and cons balanced for our visit.

I loved my elantra I had for 3 years. It was perfect only that it was. Not blue and no sunroof. I drive my cars...it had 72k miles on it. So on a whim found out my credit score and was contacted by Richard. He was great in how he found a new car that was blue, sunroof and heated seats with more bees and whistles than I know what to do with. I got a very good price on my trade in considering the.miles and a lower interest rate on my brand new sonata. Lithia has always been great to me in the sales and service departments. I love my Hyundai!

What an amazing person Cody is, I started off looking for a truck and had to be a Dodge Ram, so I applied and received a called from a sales person , Steve L, can't remember last name he found me a truck, so he said he would get back to me with details, he did a couple of times and then heard nothing from him. I had called the dealership many time but would never return calls, I decided well that's the end of that and had an appointment at Reno Dodge, well then I get a call from Cody, and that was it, Cidy was amazing from start to finish, very professional and absolutely no pressure from Cody, he worked so hard and went above and beyond for me and got me into the truck of my dreams, cody a big thank you for what you did, you are an amazing person. I advised him what I wanted, he went online and found the vehicle at another dealer, I paid for it and the vehicle was delivered the next day. What I really like about Pete is that he lets you know what is available and allows you to select what you want. No pressure or stress.

Matthew and Lance were very accommodating regarding my appointment request for my LOF service on my 2007 Santa Fe. They always appraise me of any upcoming maintenance issues without the pressure to have the repair done right away (unless needed). Matt and Lance are knowledgable, and have a patient, friendly demeanor. I like the service dept. at Reno Lithia Hyundai so much that I get my Jeep Liberty serviced there! We bought a 2002 Ford Expedition from them. It took all day to get the sales finalized. We had a problem the very first time we got it. The vehicle did not start we were leaving they had to jump start it so we had to bring it back the next day or so and it was very hard to get them to give us a new battery. That was the first thing that happened then the heater did not work and they wanted us to pay to get it fixed and I told them no so then it took forever for them to say ok we will fix it.so we left it there and it took them one and a half days to fix. Then it was blowing gas out of the vents into our face and they fixed it right away. Then the back door would not stay off of child safety off so they said they fixed but it did not work. So we took back to them and joe said come down I we will make it right so we went down and they tired to get us in a new car and they could not make it go through so we just asked them to just replace the battery and we could not get them to do that without a hassle. They wanted us to pay for a diagnostic and I refused to pay so I asked them for the receipt for the new battery so we could go and exchange it and that was to hard for them to do that. So we talk to bill the .manger of the dealership and he gave me a hassle so I got very mad and said things and he told me to leave or he was going to call the cops and he did call them and to top it off they could not find our keys. Joe gave chris to get us a new car and turned around and talked about my husband behind his saying I don't know how you got a new car from Kia with your credit. So it is wrong for them to talk about there customers behind there back

I was really happy with the entire process of buying our new car. We bought a 2016 Elantra Limited and the car is beautiful. Richard did a great job!!! I wish I could remember the other gentleman's name that helped my wife showing her all the bells and whistles it came with. The warranty compared to other car makers is second to none. Very satisfied!!!

My sales agent was Richard Dvorak. He went out of his way to see to my needs. He was thorough, friendly, experienced, and did not at any time make me feel like I was a burden when I was asking for the new model that was not in yet. He got me the car I was looking for from another state's dealership and got exactly what I asked for down to every detail. He had it delivered exactly as promised and informed me every step of the way. He set up my first service appt, he set up everything in the car I needed and asked about and did it thoroughly but not to the point I felt was too much time. The "just looking" turned into purchasing a 2016 Sonata. My wife loved the car, with its many features, great warranty, and exceptional safety standards. I didn't feel like I purchased a car from a "car dealership", I felt I purchased a car from a friend who happens to be an expert on great cars, Hyundais'. I recently accompanied my son to this dealership to purchase a new vehicle. He wanted the car and we went through the usual steps which took about an hour. Then, for the next FIVE hours we stood, sat, and waited for the "business manager" to consummate the transaction. In no uncertain terms I told the business manager that, if it were my transaction, I would have walked at the end of hour three. I suggested some compensation should be made for such miserable service, take the crooked "document fee" off the sale. No consideration was given even though some was asked for. As a customer, your time is worth nothing to this dealership.DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. If you find yourself on this dealers car lot....run like xxxx!Now let me add that I understand this dealership may take "adverse action" regarding a negative rating by a customer. That is, if a negative post is made they may take legal action alleging it damaged their future sales. I invite Lithia to take such action, I would welcome a review of this transaction in an open public forum.

Everything about the experience was great. The financing took longer than anticipated but that was our fault for buying a car on New Years eve at 6:00pm. Rich & Bill did a great job with price and showing us the bells & whistles of the new car. The warranty on the new Elantra can't be beat. I would recommend these guys to all my friends.

This place charged me double the cost of the vehicle. The sales person there would not take the vehicle on trade 6 months later and says the cars value depreciated over $5000 in 6 months. I asked them to justify over charging me to begin with and could not. I understand that is the nature of the business but it isn't enough they got a sale but had to put someone with perfect credit in the negative on car and will never sell the car in the positive even if I made double the payment. If you are looking for a honest business this is not the place for you.

So....I had submitted online to get a vehicle and was connected with Lithia Hyundai of Reno. I had sent a couple people to them before because I heard they were awesome. Anyways, it was a hassle just getting through the loan process because of my pay stubs not matching my employer, but Cody was really patient and worked with me while I tried to get things taken care of. Cody was extremely helpful in coming to pick me up and drop me off while I was without a vehicle just so that we were actually able to sit down at the dealership and go over stuff. David was really helpful with getting me a warranty and explaining contract terms to where I was surprised I was able to leave with no questions. Dylan's done a super job with his sales group and is such a great man. He made it a point to check in and make sure everything went as expected and made sure I was happy with the outcome, which I was. Unlike a lot of the other dealerships I've been to in Reno, these guys actually care about their customers.

I returned to Lithia Hyundai because of my previous shopping experience 8 yrs ago. I like the Hyundai brand . I really enjoyed my no pressure sales treatment where the salesman i worked with did not try to sell the car and let the car sell itself. I went in looking at the new Tucson base model and drove away with a new Sonata Sport--much better equipped and at the same price level! I went back four times before committing to the sale and not once did Lithia call, email, or otherwise try to sell me a car. They let me come to them in my own time and I am confident I bought the right car for me.

The staff was friendly, easy to deal with. We started out the day just wanting to take a test drive as well as check out the features of a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate. Our salesman, Rod Allen, was very accommodating, not pushy. Our intentions were to check out other similar vehicles, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, Kia Sorento etc. After researching various vehicles I was leaning toward the Santa Fe already and when Rob wanted to talk price I said OK. My wife and I talked briefly and decided that if the deal seemed good enough we would by. After a like talking price, Rod asked what price range I was looking for, I told him what it would take, he left for a few minutes and came back with a positive response. I was surprised by how easy it was! While the paperwork seemed to take a while, it went smoothly. We've only had the car for little over a week, but so far we really enjoy it. I would definitely shop at Lithia again and do recommend them highly. And Rod Allen really was nice to deal with and would no hesitate to work with him again.

Prompt, friendly service by the very adept Bryan Ogg. Less time spent in negotiations than when we purchased the 2012 Sante Fe in 2011. Generally, we got worked over less than in 2011 (!)although trading in our car was a tad tedious but surmise that's part of the scheme. The trade in car is always portrayed as a 1958 Ford Edsel. Also less time spent with the warranty man. In 2011 that session went on forever! David Volpe to the point, got us out of there. Do not know how any of you go through this day in and day out.

I started having my car serviced here for convenience back in April. Being a Lexus owner you get spoiled when you get your vehicle serviced. I must say, I wasn't expecting as high a level of customer service from a Hyundai dealership as I've been accustomed to at a Lexus dealership. I dropped the car off filthy and in need of an oil change. The service writer (Matt) was pleasant to work with. He processed my paperwork in a courteous and timely manner and had me out of there in no time. When I called for an update he was busy with a client but returned my message shortly after leaving it. My vehicle was returned to me cleaned, with my oil changed, and at a figure that was slightly less than what was quoted when I dropped it off... The overall experience was a pleasurable one. Matt and his crew did a fantastic job.

Pete sold me a Sonata in 2006 and he delivered it to Carson City. He did the same thing in 2015. We were at Lithia for 30 minutes and the deal was struck. Pete gave us top dollar on our trade and sold us the car at the discounted price listed on your website. He did not play games. We really appreciate it. I bought my first car ever from Lithia Hyundai about 18 months ago, and it was stolen about 4 weeks ago. After getting a total loss statement from the insurance company, I went right back to Lithia and 4 hours later, drove away with a leased vehicle the whole family is happy about. After six hours of negotiating with the dealers for a reasonable price, I accepted the deal. However, it was 11pm, so I asked if I could come back the next day to sign the lease. They said no. They also said I had to pay for the down payment prior to signing the papers. Since we had settled in for a price, I agreed. Dave, the finance person, refused to explain parts of the lease. He made degrading remarks and made me feel stupid for not knowing what some of the terms meant. When I asked what one of the terms meant he said "Are you serious? Do I need to spell it out for you?". After that I started crying because I knew I had just paid for the car, but that they would not give me a proper explanation of the lease terms. Dave refused to give me time to consult my family since it was late and he wanted to get out of there. He said I kept them there for long enough, therefore I just had to sign the papers so that he could go home. I never asked to stay there for that long, instead asked multiple times if I could come back the next morning. He was disrespectful and made multiple rude comments. By the end, he told me about a charge that he hadnt mentioned previously. He took advantage of me and pressured me because I am a young woman. I left the dealership crying uncontrollably. I had never felt so disrespected in my entire life. I know realize how manipulated and brainwashed I felt at the moment. I was feeling bad for negotiating for a price for such long hours that I felt obligated to buy the car. They knew I was young, I had mentioned I had the money, and I was by myself so they were able to manipulate me easier. I ended up leasing a car at a higher price than what I expected when I paid for the down payment, I remain unaware of what some of the terms in the contract mean, but now it's too late. Worst experience in my life. No doubt about it. Will you guys even care/read this review? After the experience I had.... doubt it.

Pete Montalvo was and is there for us. He helped us find a deal, no matter that we were using the Costco auto buying program which I expect reduces his income. In any case, he go me pricing on cars I was interested in... no matter where they were. Once the car came and I needed help getting the new car "wrap" off the nooks and crannies, he got it done for me. He doesn't pressure and wants to be your long time car buying guy. My wife and I currently had a 2011 Ford Fiesta we had purchased new for our kids to drive. Something small, automatic, and not necessarily expensive. However the Fiesta had "issues" - the transmission was "wonky", a bit rough and seemed to have a mind of its own. Although we weren't actively searching for a replacement, during a trip over the 4th of July we rented a white, 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT. We didn't select it, it simply was the only car Enterprise had available on the lot.After spending the weekend with it, we were impressed with how solid it felt, how easy it was to drive, the extra room and the handling. So when we returned home, the search began for the specific model we were looking for (blue with beige interior, style package only, etc).Hyundai's inventory search web page was helpful, but required a zip code for searching "local dealers", so we kept expanding our search, looking up zip codes for areas further away until we found a car the met our requirements. (NOTE: The site would work better if I could enter my home zipcode, and then either enter or select the "radius in miles" for the search)Ultimately we found the car we were looking for at Lithia Hyundai of Reno.I sent a contact email, but ended up calling the dealership regarding the car the next day. I spoke with Sasha regarding the available incentives, and what I was looking to pay "out the door", and she said she could deliver the car to me that day! Reno to Sacramento isn't necessarily a terrible drive... but it is over 2 hours, and it never occurred to me that someone could deliver the car. I'd never heard of such a thing.At the last minute, I had requested some changes be made to the title to add my wife, which delayed the delivery to the next day, but there was never an issue with them handling my requests. Sasha arrived with the car and the paperwork, we sat and went through it, and that was it. TOO EASY!I recounted my experience to my friends, and they couldn't believe I didn't have to go through the "back and forth to the manager" bartering aspect, sit at the dealership for 5 hours, get raked for extras by the finance guy... I didn't receive any of that, and it ended up being the best experience I ever had.The hiccup came with the financing. My credit union (Safe CU) had pre-approved my loan, so as far as I knew, everything was fine. However while on a business trip, I received a call from the credit union stating they couldn't lend to "out of state" dealers, and a call from Sasha that they hadn't received a check. I called and discussed the situation with the Credit Union, but to no avail. Sasha suggested I call David Lennox and discuss the financing, which I did. David came through in a big way, getting us Hyundai's 1.9% financing which was a far better deal than what my credit union was offering, and not requiring any changes to the rebates and incentives we'd already utilized.The fact is, if I'd just initially taken the financing Hyundai had offered, none of this extra hassle would have occurred - so that's on me. But it did give my wife and I a reason to drive up to the dealership, meet with David, and then head over to Lake Tahoe for a great day.Perhaps I was just lucky this time and this particular experience is atypical. But I've bought new cars before, and again this experience was a pleasure. My wife and I both agree that it couldn't have gone any better, and I want to thank Sasha and David, and the dealership as a whole, for really making this enjoyable. You will be highly recommended to my friends, and certainly will be at the top of my list the next time I'm looking for a new car.

Totally satisfied with the overall experience. Although we have a Dodge truck now we have always owned a Toyota Corolla or Camry in the past 30 plus years. I absolutely love all of the added value with extra equipment and features for the price. The body had beautiful lines and could easily outmatch a Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes in looks.

I am 61 years old and have owned Toyotas my whole life. By far, the purchase of our 2016 Hyundai Elantra from Reno Lithia was the easiest ever. The sales staff, manager, and finance man were easy to deal with and gave us a better deal than we could ever of dreamed of. The Elantra is an awesome vehicle with many, many, extras that we could never have afforded on other similar makes.

I've bought cars from most dealerships in Reno. Dodge, Toyota, Honda, Kia, etc. Hyundai is by far my favorite! The buying process was simple and un-pressured. The service department is the best part!!! They always have me in and out in an hour or less and they so nice and helpful. They even offer a waiting room with wifi, tv, coffee and snacks etc and a place for the kids to play. They can't be beat!

Somehow rigid in negotiation for price. I did not get any penny of discount from the announced price and they did not informed me that right at the beginning. A long process of getting offers from customer and rejecting all of them by manager were boring. The Richard was incredible and the financial manager David was also nice guy.

What a great experience!! Dealerships have a tendency to always tell u what u want to hear and not actually deliver that customer satisfaction!!! Cody Panzer went above and beyond to make sure I got into the payments and vehicle I wanted!! He got me in an 06 CTS with 41 k on the mileage while keeping my payments under 300 a month... they made sure the pre certified inspections were done to the fullest!! NEW BRAKES AND TIRES ALL THE WAY AROUND!! It's a gorgeous car with excellent miles and great customer service!! And I have the security in knowing the car is excellent condition and if there was to be an issue I have the security knowing they will take care of me with the extra 3000 mile warranty they added at no extra cost!! Cody was more than friendly more than professional!! He did a great job at actually lustening to what i wanted and what i was able afford... He wasnt just gonna stick me in any car!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE rarely seen and given in the dealership these days!!

Best financing I could have wanted. Great interest, 10-year warranty with extended bumper to bumper. Free nitro tire refill service (worth $150 each refill). Best of all, it ha a gauge that shows you the mikes left before you need gas and how many mpg and its 37 mpg! They truly bent over backwards to provide everything I wanted at a price I could afford. Also found a way to sell my old car for salvage and TOOK me there. Literally went the extra mile or two for me. Would recommend especially to those who know nothing about buying cars.

I moved to Reno from Southern California and needed service for my Azera. Lance Smith worked out a few problems my regular dealer had not been able to do. When it came time for me to trade, Cody Panzer and Steve Leveille worked extra hard to get me out of bad lease and into an upgrade. I was impressed. Yeah, I have more debt, but I am buying the car, not leasing and I have a new Genesis. These guys are all pretty good at what they do and don't make you feel like you just gave away the farm!

As always, our service advisor, Lance Smith, was very helpful, got to the problem right away, got it in to be fixed. He always has a smile, and is always very friendly and he always remembers who we are. The waiting room is always clean and there is always coffee, and danish for the customers, and theres always a movie on to keep us entertained while we wait. I loved ending my two days of car shopping at your store. I love my 2006 Sonata. She has been great and has 160,000 on her. (We kept her since she has never been in the shop) We needed a car to fit our current requirements and needs. Getting my 2015 Sonata was great. Joe and Jeff were so awesome to deal with. Joe found my perfect dream car. Jeff helped me work the numbers to get the Husband to say "YES!" to buying it that day. He had made me go to almost every major car dealer and finally LET me go the the Hyundai lot. And he was right. We looked at the new Santa Fe. (it was very nice) I was afraid to look at the Sonata since I hated my Dads (2013)Thank you for restyling this car. I started the buying process well before Christmas 2014. I was looking for a Sonata, Optima, Mazda6, or Altima... Did my research, looked up what the absolute lowest prices were, my available factory bonuses, I saddled up and felt like a warrior going into battle.I hate buying cars. Being attacked by pushy salespeople. The constant barrage of "how much do you want your payment to be"... It's not what I experienced. What I did find were too salesmen who don't make you feel like they are selling you a vehicle, but people you want to buy a vehicle from. I've been the main vehicle purchaser for my family for years. Probably negotiated, bickered, absolutely hated buying over 10 cars so far. I'm a seasoned buyer. Well Chris and especially Pete, were amazing salespeople. Buy the time I signed the sales contract, I was glad to have bought it from Reno Hyundai. The price was unbeatable, and I looked at all dealerships in the area. The buying process was no pressure, that there made all the difference. I was treated like buying a car was fun again... If every Litha dealership had Chris and Pete's selling cars, people would want to buy cars from the dealerships. Take it from a man who's seen every sales tactic, every sneaky way to increase the price of cars... You have to know how to treat a customer. And Lithia Reno Hundai does. PS.. Joining the Dolan Family would be like joining another dis-functional one... Spent a few hours comparing prices, the sales staff, and overall experience... What a joke.

Best advice: LEAVE AND AVOID LITHIA!Anyone who's bought here and thought you had a good deal was suckered and you're just fooling yourself.Same old tricks alive and well here. Lots of phoney paper shuffling, tag team nonsense you used to hear about still used here. I was looking at a new 2014 model, but they used 2015 numbers. Even after looking up trade in values, in front of me, they thought I wouldn't notice they were using the wrong figures. Even when the manager came back with revised numbers, the numbers were the same!The can make as much as $10K on each sale. So to resort to xxxxxxx moves shows how dishonest they are!AVOID OR FOOL WITH THEM AWHILE, THEN LEAVE LIKE I DID. BTW, I BOUGHT ELSEWHERE, SO LITHIA YOU LOSE AND SUCK!

I have now worked with 3 different service writers and have received exceptional service from all. This last visit was with Carlo who went above and beyond. I brought my 2015 Hyundai Genesis in to have one of my sensors reset. They found out that the body shop who just repaired the bumper missed replacing a side sensor. Rather than send me back to the body shop Carlo took care of everything without unconvincing me at all. Thank you Carlo and team Hyundai!

My experience started off with a phone call. Ahmad Abusabra took the time to work with me as I was going out of state following day to buy a Sonata. They matched the deal I was going to get at the Roseville Caif. dealership. Ahmad was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. Was greatly pleased with initial service my wife loved the car, the wait was horrendous but it was a busy day. IF YOUR MILITARY and plan to register your vehicle in your home of record state these people have no idea what they are doing, hours we spent trying to tell them what needed to be done after having done it before. Instead of being receptive and listen they would talk about new laws in place with the bank, when they finally contacted the DMV then the dealership told me to provide them with the documents I was telling them we needed all along......frustrating so another kicker instead of sending the paperwork to get our plates and registration to the county we were dealing with they sent it to the main headquarters so 6 to 7 weeks after they process it we should get our plates instead of 1 week good thing we got that 15 day permit from the dealer so we can't drive it for 2 months, furthermore the manager of the licensing argued with my wife about how it is illegal to register your vehicle if you live in a different state. Military is different they have no clue and to argue with a customer that just spent a substantial amount frustrates me to no end. I will never recommend this place, everyone in the military I will warn about the level of incompetence and rude customer service. To be fair a few people there were nice and tried to help overall. For the most part they talked to me and my wife like we were incompetent obviously they need to do some training customer service and licensing.

We never had any intention of purchasing a vehicle at this time. However, we ended up with a 2013 Sonata Hybrid Limited. It is a nice car & we are pleased with it. Our only problem is that my wife is listed as the primary owner, & this is causing us severe problems. We do not know why it happened, but it never should have happened. This is a problem which we want solved, even it means doing all the paper work again. Lastly, we spent too many hours at the dealership so we became somewhat uncomfortable. Thank you!

The sales staff is very friendly. When they didn't have exactly what my wife and I needed, they called the next day. The Hyundai Santa Fe had low miles, and they went out of their way to get us financed at a good rate. However, before we left we noticed that there was no jack assembly (jack, handle, lug wrench). They told us not to worry, they would get us one of course. Also, AFTER we had signed everything, they brought us the keys, but only one of them had a fob that operated the alarm. Again, they told us not to worry, of course they would get us one.In the seven months since we bought the car, we have brought it to their attention repeatedly. We are always told they will get us the missing items in a day or two and they would call us that week. Never has anyone called and followed up. Also, while being shown the car, Brian (I think his name was, Robert Philpott who we had been dealing with was absent for our appointed purchase time) tried repeatedly to show us how our cell phones would sync to the car's hands free system. He never could get it to work but assured us that if we just followed the instructions in the manual that it would. He never noticed that the cell microphone over the driver's seat had been removed and replace with an interior light. I discovered that and showed it to the service tech at our first oil change. He agreed that was where the cell mic should be. He looked up the part and was going to order that for me even if I had to pay for it and its installation. He said he would call me later that week. He never called.WE STILL DO NOT HAVE A JACK. WE STILL DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER ALARM KEY FOB. THE MISSING CELL PHONE MIC HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD.This turned what was a great experience at Lithia Hyundai of Reno and has left us very disappointed.

Went to purchase Turbo Veloster. Internet Sales Mgr., Richard Dvorak was pulled away to help another customer during trade-in negotiations. I left the dealership after 30 mins. Phones ringing when I got home only answered one call. Salesperson apoiogized and I returned to dealership. Asked 18k for trade and was offered $17.5. I ended up taking the $17.5. After waiting for 30 more minutes as paperwork was being prepared the car that was being held for me at a California dealership had been sold. No other white Turbo's available. I settled for a basic Veloster. When I returned home the other message I had received upon returning home from the dealership after being ignored. was from Wes Wilson, the sales manager offering me the 18k for my trade. I went back into this dealership 6 weeks ago and was checking about a 2014 Turbo Veloster. Was told by sales manager, Wes Wilson that they had no information yet on the 2014's. He did say I have a used silver Turbo manual transmission on the lot. I said I wasn't interested and he went back to his computer and left me standing there feeling ignored. Sales associate that was in the room offered to get my info and if they found anything would let me know. After I told him I had already purchased a vehicle this past August from Richard, he said he'd take me over to Richard. Richard and I walked the lot and he had a search done...only 2 white Turbo Veloster's on the East Coast. He said he would put it on his computer and it would notify him if any were being sent out to the West Coast and he could have it diverted.Last week I purchased a white Turbo Veloster from Capital City Hyundai in Carson City 30 miles away from Reno. Saturday I went into have my extended warranty cancelled and was told by the sales manager, Wes that they don't do those things on weekends and that I should make an appointment with finance. He was rude to me for the 2nd time. I returned home and called the General Manager, Dylan Klunie and left a voicemail. On Monday I was still upset and called Lithia Corporate and gave them my story.Today I received a shallow apology from the General Manager who listened to my story while having me on speaker phone without my permission. It is easy to see why the Customer Service is horrible...it starts at the top

Working with Deborah couldn't have been a better experience. I was amazed how the deal was handled in comparison to the handful of other dealers I visited over the weekend. She got us the trade in value we asked for and the payment was what we were looking for. I was a first time buyer but Deborah made it pretty simple for me. She is very helpful and did not give me the run around like other used dealerships I went to. If there was any trouble she would make sure she did her best to fix it while keeping me relaxed and comfortable. In the end i came out with a great car and someone i can depend on if anything goes wrong. The quality of her work is very important to her so i know she will make sure things are taken care of.

I had a very positive experience at Hyundai of Reno.Originally I went to have my Santa Fe SUV get an oil change and then asked if they had any good used cars in stock.Deborah Espinosa walked the lot with me and pointed out several nice smaller vehicles that I could downsize into since I really did not need a big SUV anymore.One of the vehicles she showed me was an Accent 4 door with a lift-up hatchback, after looking it over and reading the specs I realized that I would be saving money on several aspecs of a new vehicle.1) The cost of gasoline to run the vehicle would be significantly less as the Santa Fe was around 20 mls/gal and the Accent was 30 mls/gal.2) The monthly payments would be less.3) The insurance would be much lower than for a large SUV4) The trade in value of the SUV practically covered the down payment for the 2013 Accent.All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and in the carefull way they handled all of the details explaining everything.

This is one of the best car lots I've ever been too. Not only were the prices great the associates were very friendly as well. Unlike most car lots these sales associates weren't sharks trying to sell u a car u can't afford. I told sales associate(Fetu) the price range I could afford and he took me straight to the cars without trying to show me more expensive ones like most car lots do.He was very friendly and polite throughout the day.I also had a great experience with Deborah who helped get all paperwork done for car I wanted to buy, she has amazing customer service and knows how to explain things in detail.She was very very friendly and I recommend anyone who needs a car to come this car lot, it will be a great experience with affordable prices and friendly staff that you will never forget.

I came in with my wife with a used car in mind. Was met by Deborah Espinosa and from the start was very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. After the test drive we went right to business . The only part that was not to my liking was dealing with the sales manager who came to the table with several offers. I know that is what they do, but it is the only frustrating part of the whole ordeal. I recommend that if you go to Hyundai that you go in and ask for Deborah who was wonderful lady to work with. I must say in my numerous years of automobile. buying history I had never worked with or bought from a woman sales person but find it more pleasant and less pressure. My wife and I want to thank you Deborah for a pleasant experience.

I rate this dealership because of my personal experience at that store. The salesman folded the contract hiding the statement on top that says "Contract subject to truth in lending laws" Then told me the figure on line 1 was an internal audit number and I should only look at the figure on line 12 as all other numbers are internal audit numbers and he had to write the contact this way because his company was based in Washington State and that's how we do our contracts. Well after getting home, 56 miles away I unfolded the contract only to find many lies. Lied about the price! It was not an internal audit number, it was 1,000.00 over the price listed on the web site. The salesman also told me he gave me $1,000 for my 2001 vehicle. When I got home I found the truth. He charged me 1,000.00 over listed price and only gave me 500 for my old vehicle.. Why not be truthfull and just write it up as stated.I think all people looking for a vehicle in Reno NV check-out what the B.B.B. has to say about this dealership.

Everyone was very friendly and we were able to come to an agreement within a couple of hours. The only negative issue - it took over 3 hours to get through the financing with an hour and a half of that being after we were approved. However on a good note - the finance manager was able to lower our interest rate another 1/2 percent. The finance manager was also very friendly and informative. We would recommend the dealership and definitely both sales people we worked with.

Deborah is a great sales representative. Since I was from California, I didn't want to drive all the way up to Reno just to look at the car and not get it so we were talking over the phone and trying to negotiate a great deal. After a long day of going back and forth on the telephone, Deborah give me a great deal for the car that I wanted. That weekend, my uncle, my sister, and my mom we drove up there and got straight down to business. Deborah welcomed my family and I with open arms and was willing to help us get a great deal. Please tell Tom "Line # 1. is NOT a Lithia audit number"See that's what he told me EVEN when I questioned him! Tom told me Line 12. was my purchase price.. I initially walked in with no intention of buying a car as I was totally opposed to the idea of an impulse buy based on quarter tactics and their speech about "end of month and end of year". I'm in sales; don't belly ache to me about your goals. I hit mine for my company so I couldn't care less about yours. I want a good deal on a car. Aside from that, Norm was very knowledgeable about the cars and (we'd emailed prior to our sales appointment) he had 3 models that were right in my range ready to go. Test drove one, but conversation went to model I preferred. Norm was professional and helpful throughout. Norm and his sales manager haggled with me about the price and, I'm sorry for folks that don't like that, but that's the interaction that needs to happen to get the best deal for both parties involved. I assume Lithia Hyundia made some money, and I know I walked out of there feeling like I got a very good deal based on my research and what Norm and his manager were able to work out. Win and Win, right?

I was car shopping and stopped at several car dealers in the area. Most of them tried to sell me a four cylinder vehicle car which is not what I wanted. No one was really listening to my needs until I went to Lithia Hyundai in Reno. Peter, a first rate gentleman and car salesperson greeted me and listened to my vehicle needs. I am not a car techie but he had the patience to answer all my questions both related and unrelated(fishing tips) to my car needs. He gave me a fair deal that no other car dealer could compete with. There was no high pressure to buy but he did follow up on everything promised. So if you are looking for a good deal see Peter M.at Lithia. I would also like to give a thumbs up to Daemon who finalized the deal. He was a great guy to work with and he made me feel at ease. I will buy my future vehicles at this dealership so both of you guys please stay on board.

This is the first vehicle I have ever purchased,and the staff at Reno Hyundai made it a wonderful experience. I was very concerned about buying a vehicle because I had heard so many horror stories from friends and family members about their previous car buying experiences. That was not the case at Reno Hyundai. It was amazing how incredibly helpful these people were. The guy who helped me named Tony, was very knowlegeable and entertaining. This dealership has an incredibly courteous customer service staff, with affordable stock. I have purchased over four vehicles from this dealership. The sales staff is amazing. Our sales associated Pete Montalvo is the most reliable sales associate we have ever had the pleasure of working with. He treats every customer as if they were family, not your stereotypical sales person, each and every time going above and beyond. We regularly have our vehicle serviced in their service center. I WENT TO TRADE-IN MY VEHICLE FOR A USED VEHICLE THAT I HAD SEEN ON LINE, THE SALES GUY WAS REALLY NICE AND EVERYONE WAS NICE WHEN I SAT THEIR FOR 4 HOURS DOING THE PAPERWORK. THE VEHICLE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIPPED FROM A DIFFERENT STATE, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3-5 DAYS FOR THE VEHICLE TO ARRIVE. AFTER 2 DAYS I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO ASK ABOUT THE VEHICLE AND ABOUT GETTING MY VEHICLE PAID OFF I WAS TRANSFERRED AROUND AND KEPT GETTING A DIFFERENT ANSWER FROM EVERYONE AND THEY WERE ALL RUDE. MY HUSBAND WENT DOWN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WAS TOLD BY A MANAGER (TONY) THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ON ITS WAY AND THAT WE SHOULD BE GETTING IT IN 2 DAYS AND ALSO THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON THE FINANCING.... 5 DAYS LATER NO CAR NO VEHICLE PAID OFF BUT THEY CASHED ONE OF MY $500.00 CHECK THAT I HAD LEFT FOR DOWN PAYMENT. 2 DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD BY WES THAT THEY HAD NEVER ORDER THE VEHICLE TO GET SHIPPED AND THAT THEY COULDN'T DO THE DEAL.... I TOLD WES I NEEDED MY MONEY BACK. IT TOOK THEM 3 DAYS AND SOME ARGUING TO GET IT BACK, I WAS TOLD TO GO IN AT NOON FOR MY CHECK I SHOWED UP AT 3 PM AND THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE MY CHECK TONY ANOTHER MANAGER TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO WAIT AN HOUR OR MORE TO SEE IF HE CAN GET IT DONE AFTER ALMOST 2 HOURS I GOT MY MONEY BACK. 1 MONTH LATER THE SECOND CHECK OF $500.00 FOR DOWN PAYMENT THAT I HAD GIVEN THEM AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD GET SHREDDED ALONG WITH ALL THE DOCUMENTS WAS CASHED BY THEM. I CALLED THEM VERY UPSET TO SEE WHY THEY HAD DONE IT AND ALL THEY SAID WAS "OH IT WAS A MISTAKE" I ASKED TO GO DOWN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT TILL THE NEXT DAY TO SEE IF THEY HAD ANY RECORD OF IT, DYLAN KEPT HANGING UP ON ME BECAUSE I WAS SUPPOSEDLY RUDE TO HIM BECAUSE I TOLD HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED THE TIME BEFORE. I KEPT CALLING HIM TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I WAS GOING TO SHOW UP AT THE DEALERSHIP THE NEXT DAY AT 8:30 AM FOR MY CHECK AND HE SAID THAT HE WOULD HAVE ME ARRESTED IF I WOULD SHOW UP BUT THEY ARE THE ONES THAT TOOK MY MONEY AND COULDN'T EVEN GET IT BACK TO ME WHEN I REQUESTED MY OWN MONEY. THIS DEALERSHIP IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY RUDE TO PEOPLE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!

They are very dis-honest and do not do quality work. Their customer service is horrible. They are rude and un-helpful. We had a dead battery and had our car towed ther to have them re-place the battery. Tehy proceeded to tear the car apart and run a complete diagnostic because they didn't think it was the battery. After a day of looking at it they figured out it was the battery but then charged us $97.00 for a diagnostic. Now they tell us the battery somehow damaged the cars engine and it needs $850.00 worth of work to run correctly. They sat the three times I tried to start the car with a dead battery caused it to flood the engine and gum up the spark plugs.
