I was made to believe that I purchased a car. We haggled over price, they asked for and took a deposit, they copied my drivers license, gave me a picture of the car complete with VIN #. They told me when I could pick up the car. Only problem, they didn't actually own the car they just doctored a picture of another dealers car with their letterhead on it. I stopped shopping for the car because of their promise. I told all the other Toyota dealers I had talked to that I bought a car. One of these dealers was the actual owner of the car that i thought I had bought. They strangely admit to these facts and tell me that they do this all the time. Usually they are able to do without detection by either getting the car or getting the buyer who has already given them money to agree to another car. Many broken promises trying to get deposit back as well. Do yourself a favor deal with someone else.

We purchased a 2016 Prius 4 a few months ago. And while we were familiar with the Prius, we were very specific in what we wanted in our new vehicle. To make the long story short, Ali offered no education on our new vehicle--even now, months later. In addition, despite providing our correct full mailing address to multiple people, multiple times--even via email, our tax was calculated incorrectly and we were sent a bill months later. And we still have not been offered education. It was not a pleasurable experience--won't be returning, even for the free service for the first 24,000 miles.

Technician was very thorough in diagnosing electrical problems. He clearly communicated the problems he found and the necessary repairs that are needed. One thing however we discovered that the radio has stopped working a day after we picked up the car. I called the service department and the person asked me to bring the car back to have the service department to take a look.

My mother in law came in to purchase a new Prius. The place was dead, Luis made no effort to even make the sale, budge on options, was extremely condescending to my mother in law. She went in, knowing what she wanted and he couldn't deliver. Prices changed, often. Didn't seem to even know much about the products he was selling, other than it was a Toyota. I can't believe he's been working there for 10 years.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I made an appointment for my 2013 FRS to have it checked because it was making some rattling noises. I arrived and a young service advisor took my information. He told me we will have our mechanics check the problem but we will have to charge you $60 for the check up. I was surprised, I asked him why are they charging me $60 when my car is still under factory warranty. He told me that we will check the problem, if its mechanical you don't have to pay the $60 and we will fix it under warranty, if the problem is a maintenance related, then I will have to pay the $60 and the cost to fix the problem. So I asked to make sure I'm hearing right, "So I will not know if I'm paying the $60 till after they checked the car?" He said yes. I told him I owned several german and american cars and I never have been charged a fee for diagnosing a problem when my car is under warranty. He snapped back with the most disrespectful and rude answer, he told me and I quote: "That's how we do it here, do you expect me to pay the mechanics from my own pocket?" I was shocked. I told him I will take my car to another dealership thank you. He nodded at me, threw the keys to my face and walked away without saying a word. VERY RUDE! I will never own a Japanese car again, I can't believe the lack of respect the company have for its customers!

Need a used car? Well stay the heck AWAY from these guys. The sales rep told us that "if a trade-in has too many issues we won't sell it..." BS! After we paid cash on an 06 Subaru from these con men, we were back in their shop within 3 weeks b/c the AC quits after 10 minutes, plus 3 other major defects, which they absolutely knew about from their "121-point service inspection." Lombard Toyota deliberately did not disclose information that would have affected our purchase decision. We have requested a reimbursement of only 50% of the repair costs quoted by a nearby Subaru dealer, (or take the car back for full refund) and the Lombard Toyota General Sales Manager Brandon Wilhelmi - who earlier said "we don't abandon customers after the sale" - COMPLETELY IGNORED our faxed letter. Would have expected a little class from a dealership. Too bad there aren't below-zero stars to click for this review. Utterly Disgusted. -KP in Lombard

Service dept. personnel was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I came in for 10,000 tire rotation and oil change and found that a large nail penetrated the sidewall of the right rear tire. A new tire was ordered and replaced. The service tech. noticed the nail and informed Mike in the service dept. and he took me to my car and pointed out the problem and we all agreed the tire needed to be replaced rather than fixing it due to its location. I am very grateful that it was discovered by the tech and informed by Mike.

It was unintimidating, comfortable and easy to purchase a car, which can otherwise be very overwhelming. I didn't feel pressured into doing anything I wasn't comfortable doing. Also, everyone I worked with - John Lipinsky, Tim Fessler and Tony (Finance, I don't remember his last name) -explained everything along the way, so I knew exactly how much I was spending, what I was signing, etc. All in all, a very positive experience!!

I had probably the most hassle free car buying experience ever! My salesman, Tim Fessler knew exactly what I was looking for and contacted me when the 2015 Highlander I was looking for was available! the 2014 I leased had a huge dashboard. I didn't know it would impact my visual field as significantly as it did. On my 20,000 mile service call I mentioned this to Salesman Brandon. I really liked the sales person - Gene Scardine. He was awesome! Allowed me to look around and make my decision. No high sales pressure but helped find me a car that I now love. I also like the fact that Gene kept his promises on the 2006 Toyota Avalon that he sold me. The price was awesome especially the mileage (36000). I would have given this dealership a higher rating and I would recommend this dealership to others however there was one glaring problem that is hard to overlook. I used Truecar to get a great price on a new Camry. I was contacted by the internet sales team at Lombard Toyota and I asked them two questions: 1. Are the tax, title, and license fees which are added onto the TrueCar price, negotiable? 2. Can I put the full cost of the car on several credit cards?The person who I was speaking with told me "yes" for both questions. I was surprised however I, naively believed what I was being told to be true and so I went to the dealership with those assumptions. As you might have already guessed, the actual answer to both those questions is no.In the end, since it was a great price, I ended up buying the car. The rest of the experience was fine. Everyone from the salesman (Luis Cruz), to financing, to the cashier was very friendly and courteous however it did not feel right to be blatantly lied to in order to get me into the door.

I've always been very pleased with your Service Department. Tony is generally the Service Writer I deal with and he has always been very helpful in resolving any questions or concerns that I may have. For example, on this visit it was discovered that my RAV4 had developed an axle leak. Tony arranged for me to meet with the Technician (Ron?) who took me back to the work area and showed me the leak and explained what work had to be done. I was provided with a ``loner'' and the work was completed by the estimated time. All in all, a very positive experience. Which is why I've been a customer for the past 20 + years.

I went in to Lombard Toyota around the 17th of march looking to buy a used car. After talking to the salesperson they showed me several options. It was most cost effective for my particular need and situation. I ended up walking out with a nice leased car at a lower monthly payment than a used car would have been. I am very happy with my 2015 Toyota Corolla. The staff was very helpful, polite, and not pushy at all. My family has bought/leased 5 cars from Lombard Toyota and will continue to buy there.

My car was in for the 20,000 service. I asked for a car wash even though it was colder than 25 degrees, the temperature that cuts off car washes. They washed the car before servicing which gave it more time to dry before I drove home in the cold. The wait wasn't long; the waiting room was very pleasant. I was offered an extended service plan with an explanation but without a lot of pressure. I decided to buy the plan because it is wise financially and because I like this dealer and the service department. The staff at the customer service desk where you check in for service are always very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.We have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealer in the last 8 years and have been very satisified with the process and with the service.

We have received excellent service with all our visits. With the exception of an ongoing bad smell in the air conditioning that has yet to be fixed since the summer of 2014. Toyota has said that this smell which is horrible is just too bad. Those are the words of the service writer that handled the car.

I need the tire pressure adjusted and came in without an appointment. They were able to take my car right away and pointed out that I was due for the 80,000 miles oil change, tire rotation etc. That save me a trip back and all was taken care of in a quick and courteous manner.

The auto maintenance mechanic, Brian called me to advise that I should have all my windshield wipers changed, which I know they did need. I told him to go ahead and replace all of them. He also let me know a time frame that would be ideal for making these updates. I will be back for these maintenance items and any future ones that are needed. Also found the shuttle service to be professional and comfortable.

After 13 years and 180,000 miles, the transmission on my car stopped working. I needed a reliable car and checked out the website for Lombard Toyota on a Friday evening. I inquired about a Toyota Rav4 on their website and they contacted me within a few minutes. I spoke with Dane and he said I could come in that evening to take a test drive. A sales person (Igor) was there waiting when I arrived and took the time to explain all of the features on the Rav4. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Rav4 and I took a test drive. I liked the car and was able to work with Leah to close the deal on the Rav4 that same evening. Lombard Toyota provided great customer service and made it an enjoyable buying process. By the end of the evening, I was able to drive away in a new Toyota Rav4 at a fair price. I definitely recommend Lombard Toyota as a great place to purchase a car.

I just want to say what a great experience I had in just a phone call.I needed to service my car and had some questions for the serviceattendant. Tony called my husband for a new opportunity of a new lease since ours was almost ending. We had a service appointment for my old 2011 Prius for this past Saturday 8/30/14, we met Tony and we had a great experience with him. He accommodate his schedule (he had a meeting that he left in order to help us), usually wen we go to a dealer is a painful and long experience, the seller goes back and forward with different prices, promotions, deals, etc. we explained to him that we didn't have the time and that we were pretty sure what we wanted and how much we wanted to expend, so he went straight forward showing us what we requested, he was very accessible and understanding with our time and needs. He got us a good deal and we got a new Prius with more of the requirements I wanted (a new Prius with leather seats) which is great, in less time that we were expecting, so we really appreciate that. He also was very patient explaining all the car's features such as GPS, apps, etc.Thank you!

I was very impressed with how the customer service manager handled my issue. I was offered a car rental while my repairs was being done which was going to take a few hours to complete. Also,my costs for the repairs was totaling over $2000 for my 2010 Camry which I had originally bought brand new at this dealership. Eventually, the service manager decided to give me a discount since I just changed all 4 tires less than 24hrs prior to this service call.

I took my car in for servicing and my service rep did a fine job. He was courteous explained everything in detail. However, as I was leaving I was not how exit the garage. I am new to Toyota and have never been that garage for servicing before. I pulled my car up to the garage door exit and nothing happened. As it turns out I was a few inches short of the garage door sensors and didn't realize I had to inch forward a few inched more to open the door. A younger itilain looking man in a gray service suite preceded to scream and me calling me Stupid at the top of his lungs. Service expercience went well up until then. I didn't appprciate be screamed at and called stupid as I was trying to exit a garage I'd have never been in before.

Tony the service director is a rude and ignorant man. Our seat belt broke on a 2014 carrolla and he has the nerve to be condiscending about getting the car back in a reasonable time . First off the seatbelt should be the last thing that breaks, to not have one in stock is ok but to be a schmuck about it is not ok. They couldnt even take one off of a car in the lot and change it out then put it in the other car when the part comes in. There EXCUSE is "the part has to be made", i must look like i fell out of a pear tree. I should have went to a better run and more competent toyota like Elgin toyota. With morons like tony and his idiotic service writers I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LOMBARD TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nowadays their hours could not be more convenient. I usually bring my car(s) for service one night and pick it up the next. Over the years I have known many of their service managers by first name and they have known and rememberd mine. Jerry and Jeff and their techs do a great job and are friendly, informative, and always willing to assist. I was treated very well during my visit for an oil change, tire rotation, and front breaks. All went well but the technician who serviced my car did not follow the specific written instructions about setting the tire sensor. I got half way home when the tire light went on. I had to return to the dealer to have the sensor set correctly. I was given a coupon for future service because of the error and the extra time I had to spend to return. I appreciated that I was a valued customer and was compensated for the inconvenience.

After years, maybe even decades, of avoiding Lombard Toyota, I was pleasantly surprised by the the new cordial and polite customer service. This dealer's service department used to be surly, condescending, and arrogant to its customers (to me and my neighbor, anyway). Not to mention over-charging and trying to find any reason for unnecessary repairs and service. By the way, this dealership still does the latter, unfortunately, hence the overall rating of only 3 stars.Although I live close to Lombard Toyota, I used to drive the much longer distance to Naperville Toyota to get treated well and not feel ripped off after having service done. I used to complain to dealership management and national Toyota customer service about this dealership's bad attitude and practices, to no avail.I hope Lombard Toyota keeps up the good work. I may start to come back regularly to have all my service done there if the situation continues to improve.

I went in for a recall on my Prius. I was greeted promptly and courteously. I informed my service writer that I would be waiting for my vehicle. I was told that it would take about an hour and they would come and get me when my car was ready. My car was ready in less than a hour. The service writer came to get me. My car was washed and ready inside the service entrance, so that I didn't have to go out into the weather or find my car someplace out in the lot. What more could you ask for?

Had routine servicing done, 55,000 miles, and asked that special attention be given to brakes and battery. Both were tested and inspected and determined to be OK. An unscrupulous mechanic might have done an unnecessary repair/replacement but Lombard Toyota seemed to be honest and straightforward and potentially saved me a lot of money. I'll continue to service my car there.

great service but i've lost one of the boots off of the roof rack and i've lost at least 6 chrome lug nuts.i've bought the replacement parts mentioned above and your service dept. installed them but i don't have real confidence that they just won't drop off again.I think you have great group of staff working in your service dept. but Toyota needs to design better parts so they just don't fall off. I know that the parts are only cosmetic but in my opinion, showing rusty lug nuts and no boot for the roof rack, just makes the highlander look trashy.

I went to this location because the dealer I usually go to could not work me in on a Saturday. Service was fast and professional. I may consider this location as my first choice in the future.

I am always impressed by the thoroughness of service department. They check outthe whole car & don't let you leave with any problems that they are aware of.Thoroughly discuss the problems your car has that need to be handled. They advise what the cost of repairs will be. They also tell you the amount of time to fix it.It is unbelievable the speed and accuracy they have to service your vehicle. I always leave confident that my 2010 Camry is in excellent condition and I won'tbreak down on the expressway. I drive 355 to work every day.Thanks for making my life easier.

I was past due for my 74,000 mile maintenance. I called and got in the same day. I waited for about an hour, but the Hawks game was on, so who can complain? They raised a few extra issues that needed attention, but did not pressure me to have the work done. They did a good job of explaining what was required and what it would cost and how long it would take. Great friendly service people who treat their customers right!

I have purchased two previous Toyotas, strayed away on a couple vehicles, and now am back with a great looking Corolla S. I love the color, ride and efficiency. My salesman, Brandon, did a good job of explaining aspects of the car I did not know about. He knew I had just been to the 2014 Car Show, so I was thinking of another vehicle before I went in to Lombard Toyota. While being very polite and respectful, he did his best to help us both arrive at an agreed price. I was concerned that the 'S' would drive up my insurance rate, and Brandon assured me it should not. He was right! My insurance went up very little from my previous vehicle. I had wanted to 'down size' and this 2014 Corolla was just what I was looking for. I never made it to the other dealership that I had in mind !

The tire light came on and because the weather has been so bad I decided to go directly to Lombard Toyota to have it checked. Even though it was 4pm and busy I was taken care of promptly and happy to know the tires were low and not damaged. I was on my way within a half hour and feeling secure driving my Rav 4 once again. Went in for routine service and mentioned an unusual noise coming from engine compartment. It was quickly diagnosed as a bad water pump. The new one was installed exactly within the time quoted. Price was not inexpensive, but the consequences for me of having the water pump fail when on the highway by myself would have been very much worse.

This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Gary and love working with him. We also worked with Joe Castillo as we used Toyota Financing to buy the car. He was great. I just purchased a 2013 Highlander from Lombard Toyota. I basically negotiated the deal through their internet site. Though it, I was able to secure financing and get a quote. They called me and made arrangements for a test drive. When I arrived at the dealer, they were ready for me and the whose process -- test drive, trade-in, paperwork, etc, took around ninety minutes. NO HASSLES! This is my fourth purchase I've made from them & I have been pleased with both their attitude an the service I've received on my cars. They always provide professional and courteous service.

The Maintenance Team at Lombard of Toyota is so patient and they really listen. My 2002 Prius had been feeling a bit bouncy to me and when I brought it in for an oil change, I asked them to check the suspension. They spent a lot of time checking things out and even "drove" the car at speeds higher than I would normally drive. They assured me the suspension was good and checked out several other things that could be causing what I described as a bounce. Not once did anyone make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about or being unreasonable. The charges for the check-up were extremely reasonable and well worth the peace of mind I now have.

I needed to schedule an appointment to get some safety recall issues resolved. I was able to make an appointment online for the next day. I was taken at my appointed time and waited in the waiting room. The service visit took about an hour and everything was explained to me. I was very happy with taking my Rav4 to Lombard Toyota

Friendly associates, very satisfied with the work done on my car. Had the battery terminal post repaired, steering wheel fluid change, engine oil/filter change and pcv valve replaced. Did a very good job and was fast. Plus the complimentary car wash and coffee and donuts while I wait. My only concern is that, I could have had an extra discount for being a loyal customer.

Although I had fine service I noticed I was in the waiting much longer than other customers. Perhaps because I had a rear windsheildwiper mechanism replaced. I waited about 21/2 hours. In the end the work was well done & I'm grateful to have the wiper working again,especially withthe snow & ice on the way.

So far our family has purchased 4 new cars from Lombard Toyota and 1 used one. recently the assistant service manager Oscar Rivera had our 2005 Sequoia brakes inspected for wear, We only needed the back ones done. It's nice to have a mechanical shop that will give you an honest assessment of what is needed and not do more than that in order to make extra money. I have had other work done in the past at Lombard Toyota and have gotten to know some of Lombard's mechanics, all of them are good guys and do great work, Ron Jones is one of them, we like knowing our cars will be serviced right the first time!! Don't ever use the dealership. They lied to us in order to get us to write the deal. The salesman John lied saying the 0% financing ended that day so we wouldn't leave without writing the deal. We wrote the deal in a hurry as we needed to leave. The car was detailed poorly when we took it home. We found out the next day the financing didn't end that day, but the next as we had said to him. The salesman John also told us there was no cash back and there was if you didn't do the financing. We also found out we could have found a better deal elsewhere. They also added an Auto Guard charge at the time of the sale. When we called the salesman the next day and told him he lied, he made excuses and offered to fill the car up with gas for us to make up for the auto guard. When we still weren't happy we called back and talked to sales manager Tom who has no customer service skills. He offered to refund the auto guard, but made an excuse for the lie saying the deal must have been good enough to take or we wouldn't have done it. He didn't seem to care and just became very rude when I said we wouldn't recommend them and would be calling Toyota. We did call Toyota who took are complaint and said someone from their customer service would call us at that dealership. No one has called. When my husband picked up the check at the dealership the salesman John did say he was sorry that we weren't happy and that it was all making him look bad. He stated it was just a misunderstanding. When my husband again pointed out his blatant lies, he tried turning it back on my husband. They had dealer traded for a Sienna we thought we wanted, but when it came in we didn't like it and ended up changing our mind wanting a Toyota Highland on their lot. He claims my husband lied to him about wanting a Sienna. Unbelievable that they would turn it on us! They lie and try to cover their lies any way they can. Do not trust this dealership and do not buy from them. We wish we had not ever bought from them! We will be calling Toyota again to further our complaint. Toyota should do something about this dealership!

Quality of personnel and service work were always excellent. Not just some times, or only when the phases of the moon were just right. These people know customer service and they know their products!. So after 8 years, and 120,000 trouble free miles on the Prius, I decided to trade it in for the Prius V to gain additional interior and cargo space. Even if I will be sacrificing a few miles per gallon on the mileage. I have been looking for a used car for awhile, mostly private sellers. I decided to just stop by and look at the cars here. I didn't like what I was seeing, but after about an hour, Tony came out with a very nice car. I told him my price range, totally honest about it, not intimidated by sales, and he actually gave me a great deal. He was honest, nice, not pushy just fair, actually more than fair. I am grateful for him helping me today. I am so happy I am done looking for a car. Never thought it would be from a dealer! I ended up working with Lombard Toyota after bad experiences with other local dealerships. It started with their internet sales - Liz, who was very helpful and responsive. When I went in, I worked with Chuck who was absolutely fantastic. He spent time going over the actual vehicle with me and what feature/trim lines might best suit my needs and then we went for a test drive. All in all, there were no high pressure sales tactics, crazy sales BS or anything along those lines. When it came down to working on the deal for the vehicle (a 2013) it was pretty quick and their offer for my trade in was very close to what i was looking for so that made the deal easy as well. The next part was a little complicated because I was looking for a color combo that they didn't have in stock so they had to find the vehicle and also install a remote start for me. Chuck was extremely helpful in finding the exact color combo close by, getting vehicle there in a short period of time and ready to go. It all came together much faster than I anticipated and went extremely smooth. This could not have been accomplished without Chuck, who also came in on his day off to help facilitate the process.The financing was probably the smoothest and quickest experience I have ever had. I met Jeff, their business manager and things were very easy, no high pressure add ons and he too, was very helpful. I had to do my paperwork early so my remote start could be installed and as a bonus my car had just arrived as I finished the paperwork so I got to go out and sit in it and take pictures which was nice.Overall, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had and I've purchased Acura, Hondas and Fords before. I would totally recommend Lombard Toyota to anyone interested in looking for a new vehicle that wants to look for a good, honest deal with no high pressure tactics or bait and switch games. Believe me, after the way my search started the bar was set pretty low by the time I got to Lombard Toyota and Lombard Toyota blew that away and set a new, very high standard for me.

I had been searching for a 2010 mustang gt for a decent price for the past few months. Dealer after dealer I went to told me they sold the car I had asked to view only hours before I went to view them wasting my time and theirs. Finally low and behold I saw an awesome GT at Lombard Toyota so I emailed them to find if it was still available. Turns out it was and I scheduled a time online to go view it with them. Ashley was very friendly and didnt try promising anything they couldn't deliver as other dealerships often do. Upon getting there i was able to test drive the car immediately! Within a few hours and some negotiation on price, the car was mine! They were very reasonable on making a deal we could both be happy with. I would recommend this dealership to others. However I would have to point out something that did not impress me with them. The mustang was used of course, but there was a scratch that I had noticed on the rear quarter panel that was "overlooked" by the dealer. It was a very minor scratch I must say and nothing that would deter me from making the purchase. But the salesman was not up front on informing of that flaw. Also the rear license plate was mounted crooked by either the original owner or by Lombard Toyota, in either case when the salesman offered to install the license plate and I could tell he noticed it too and again proceeded not to notify me about the issue. Again very minor detail and something that no one is able to see now that I have it mounted in the correct position, but it is something I was disappointed in. In all I would buy another vehicle from Lombard Toyota again and I would still recommend them to friends and family. I would recommend them to make sure their sales personnel are up front with potential buyers in future sales. And special thanks to Ashley to for making sure that the car was available for me to view as promised.

I "do my homework" before any major decision like this and was very familiar with car values before arriving. My trade-in had the average amount of miles for a 6 year old car, a clean carfax, is mechanically in excellent condition, and you could count the number of blemishes inside and out on one hand.Pros: Tony may be a young guy but I could tell that he was truly passionate about making sure his customers were happy. He's one of the very few car salesmen I've met that I'd have genuine banter with as well as actually compliment my trade-in. Most importantly to me, he immediately understood that I was interested in a specific used vehicle and never tried to upsell me. He recognized that I was an informed and focused buyer from step one which made the entire process enjoyable. He was happy to have me drive the vehicle I was looking at through it's paces so I could get a good taste of how well it performed and for me to judge what kind of condition it was in. After the test drive I let him know that this was literally the first truck I had looked at and wasn't ready to make a deal that day. After first coming at me with an auction price offer for my trade-in he came back from his manager with an excellent offer that I honestly had a very hard time turning down. Cons: Being only a 30 minute drive from Chicago, I was a bit put off by the country music station piped into the showroom. (I've recently been to a Mercedes Benz dealership even closer to the city that had a similar station blaring in their showroom, so maybe I'm in the minority here)Suggestions for this dealership: Tony is very intelligent and personable. Hold on to this guy!

My father (Siddiq Nizam) bought a used 2003 Toyota Camry from Lombard Toyota about 3 weeks ago and it came with a 90 day "warranty". He took it in a week later because the power locks stopped working and they changed the batteries and told him the remote would self-adjust. He took it back a week later after it continued to have problems and they told him that the car had serious electrical problems and that it would cost, and I quote, $2,000 to repair. The sales manager said: "Thats the chance you take when buying a used car". If this is the motto Lombard Toyota repeats to their customers that have problems with their cars immediately after purchase, they should probably let their used car customers know in advance that this is the type dealership they are. The Sales Manager also said: the car checked out fine when we had it. My dad is retired, a Sr. Citizen, and barely drove the car 100 miles since purchase, and this guy had the nerve to say that it was fine 100 miles ago. At the end of the day, the diagnosed electrical issue with the car did not get fixed; the dealer did nothing to help him out on a trade, and today my dad left home with a car that has some serious problems. To me, Lombard Toyota has lost all credibility for selling used cars. I would never recommend this place to anyone, let alone visit this dealership for any other type of service. This is in no way directed at the Sales associate (I believe his name is Allen) that worked with us.

Brandon is the GSM of the building, but was friendly enough to personally help me through the car buying experience. The price for my trade in was very far (above what carmax would give!) and I was treated well the entire time. I would not hesitate sending friends or family to Lombard Toyota.

Brandon Gabel did an outstanding job both when we first drove the car, and when we came back to buy it. He showed us our options when we first came in and was very prompt about getting us the opportunity to test drive the vehicle (Toyota Rav4). He accurately described all the benefits of the vehicle and how it compared to similar ones we were looking at. He also was great about showing us key features that helped me out tremendously as a college student and babysitter.Brandon was awesome about not pressuring us and gave us his card and hours he'd be in later that week. When we came in he found us, and although he was also working with another customer he was great about getting us another look at the car in a timely manner and then working with us on negotiations. He really wanted us to be happy with our purchase so he continued to go back to his manager with negotiations. In the end we were extremely happy with our purchase and after two weeks of driving I could not have asked for a better car! We would definitely work with Brandon again with a future purchase at Lombard Toyota.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership and I'm glad that I did. I came for an oil change and I wasn't planning on replacing my car just yet since it was fairly still new being only 3 years old. Maurice came over and requested a minute of my time, wanting to discuss how he can save me money. Five hours later, he provided me with the car I wanted, the color I love and for the price I could afford. He worked tirelessly to get me exactly what I wanted, since they didn't have the color and interior I wanted. He found it though, and brought it to me the same day, having to send for it from Indiana. That's what I call dedication. He understood that I knew what I wanted and that I wasn't going to settle for anything else, and he went out and got it for me. I was surprised by Maurice' sincerity in dealing with me. He never once acted impatiently with me, get distracted or waver in his attempts to acquire the best deal for me. I can be mule-headed in my stubbornness and I get this way with car salespeople as a my way of testing them. I have dealt with a lot of car salespeople all these years, and Maurice is, without a doubt, the nicest, most sincere and overall best salesperson I've encountered.As a consumer, I am loyal to a fault. Customer service is, in my opinion, a product's best selling point. My experience at Lombard Toyota was nothing but favorable, from it's cleanliness to the sales manager's (Brandon Wilhelmi) friendliness, and most especially Maurice Kimbrough's professionalism. I will definitely purchase my vehicles from this dealership again and without a doubt, recommend them to anyone I know wanting a Toyota.

Gene was great to work with, we have purchased from Lombard Toyota before and came in knowing we could get a great car and have great service. We had a budget in mind and Gene came thru for us in every way possible. He taught us the difference between the types of cars and was patient with us when we couldn't make up our minds, he came thru for us when we needed him. We had been looking at many different car companies and style of cars, and loved what we purchased from Gene.

I bought my first Avalon in 2005 and my second in 2011. The service department was the main reason I went back for my second car. They never tried to upsell me on unnecessary fixes or services in the 6 years that I went there for service, and with the coupons that I receive every quarter, they are competitive with anyone on oil changes etc. During the sales process for my 2011 Avalon, I never experienced the usual play a game routine so common with most car dealerships. My product specialist (Carlos) was straight forward with the proicing and trade in and we came to an agreement in a very short period of time. The deal was competitive and fair and I am now a repeat buyer from Lombard Toyota.

Lombard Toyota has been outstanding over the past 15 years to our family. We do not live close to Lombard but will travel just to do business there. Both in sales and service we have never been disappointed. The sales department has always been helpful and courteous. The service department has always been great to work with and always prompt. They get it done when they promise to get it done.Let's not forget the cars themselves. Toyota has always been a favorite of my family. We now have four grown children who have driven Toyotas and have loved them.

The buying experience with Will Ellis a few months ago was very refreshing. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even though it was 5 o'clock on a Saturday, he offered to stay and I ended up buying a new 2011 Toyota Corolla LE.A few months later my right front hubcap fell off. Sales Manager Brandon Wilhelmi offered to replace the hubcap at no cost. The part needed to be special ordered, but only took a few days.All in all, very good experiences with Lombard Toyota.

I obtained e-mail quotes from Lombard Toyota for a couple of different Toyota models. They were very prompt in responding to my inquiries. They also seemed to have pretty good prices on vehicles. I have also had my vehicle serviced there before and the service department is not huge, but it is pretty good.

Gary was happy to keep going back to get different keys to let us try out different vehicals, he was not pushy which I greatly appreciated. He wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied in my vehical which ment searching for the vehical in the color I wanted. Very good service department. Very flexible hours.I bought a 2011 avalon Limited. When I went outside to pick it up, I opened the door to put the manuals in the glove box and the radio was blaring hispanic music. The first rule mechanics learn is...Don't change the radio dial or blast it. Also, the car hop sped down the driveway to the car wash when they moved the car from the showroom. This action was completely opposite of the impression a buyer receives when walking into the showroom. My first thought was, "Is this the way my 30K investment is handled when I'm not around?" This has been my 4th Toyota purchased at this dealership since '95.

He listened to the features I was looking for in a new vehicle and made several suggestions that would fit within my budget. He was patient and attentive and matched me with the right car at the right price. Paul called a week after I bought my car to see if everything was still to my satisfaction. Bob Polanek was absolutely the best salesman I could have asked for. I was very nervous about getting the car I wanted. He worked with me very patiently, and made sure I was able to leave with the car I wanted, and at a great deal. I dont think their was a single thing I didnt know about the car when I left. We purchased a 2011 Sienna. Our overall sales process lasted almost 1 full week consisting of an initial visit, several follow up communications, and a final sale. The sales person was very responsive to our numerous requests, worked on his day off to get the deal moving forward, and even chased our 5 year old around the dealership to give my wife and I a chance to talk. There were a few speed bumps in the process(as there are with any purchase), but the were handled promptly and fairly. We landed on a fair price with minimal hassle. At no point did we feel pressured or forced into a corner. Throughout the process the dealership appeared to want to earn our business and has done so.

After being quoted a price via email by their "internet sales associate" Ashley Soehlke, I shopped the price around and found that only one dealer could even match it. Good start. After calling the other dealer and confirming that the price he quoted me was his lowest out-the-door price, I returned to Ashley and asked her to throw in a remote start, promising I'd be in that afternoon to purchase the car if she could throw that one last piece in. She obliged, at which point I sent her an email to confirm EVERY DETAIL as well as the final, out-the-door price with all discounts included.When I arrived at Lombard Toyota, everything went south. First, they would not talk price with me until they ran a credit check (this is a red flag-- don't let them bully you into getting a credit check if you don't even know if you're buying from them yet). I agreed, however, because based on the quote that I had, I was getting a great deal.I provided my salesman, Igor, with a printout of the email conversation chain between Ashley and I, politely reminding him that I was expecting to pay the exact price listed in her final email and not a penny more.He returned to tell me that there's no way they could possibly get me that price and that they must have miscalculated and added an extra $1000 discount that I wasn't eligible for.I am a recent college graduate and Toyota is currently offering two deals that apply to me:First deal: 0% financing OR $1000 manufacturer rebate on a new car.Second deal: $1000 rebate for recent college graduatesI specified in my emails to Ashley the exact model, options, etc. that I wanted. I also made it explicitly clear that I would take the 0% financing and NOT the $1000 manufacturer rebate. This is what I came to the dealership armed with, ready to purchase the car.Long story short (too late), after explaining all of this to Igor and showing him written proof, he returned with another salesman, Gary, who tried to convince me that they couldn't possibly give me that price and that I-- I, the one who asked at least three times in our emails for confirmation-- was the one mistaken, and they were offering me a fantastic deal. But, he said, if I wanted 0% financing, I had to pay a thousand dollars more for the car.I called Elmhurst Toyota with Igor and Gary sitting and listening to the conversation to ask Rob Smithburg if he was willing to match Lombard Toyota's quoted out-the-door price, WITH 0% financing included. Rob said yes. On the way out of Lombard Toyota, I asked Igor what their bottom-line, out-the-door price was. He gave me the $1000 more expensive quote. I then asked him if at least he would throw in the remote start that Ashley promised me via email, and Igor said he'd have to check on that, at which point I just left. I drove down Butterfield to Rt. 83 and over to Elmhurst Toyota on Lake Street, where Rob kindly laid everything out for me on paper and delivered on the exact deal he had promised me.Lesson learned: Lombard Toyota tries the bait-and-switch that salesmen from the fifties relied on to woo customers. In 2010, they lost my sale. I would recommend getting your left arm cut off before I would recommend even so much as wasting a phone call to Lombard Toyota.

I bought a 2010 Corolla in November from Bob and had such a great experience that I recommended Bob and the dealership to my boyfriend when he was looking to buy a new car. Bob is very easy to work with and goes out of his way to get you the car you want at the price you want to pay. He is not pushy at all and spends as much time with his customers as they need. After going to other dealerships (even another Toyota dealership in a different town), I can tell that Lombard Toyota offers the highest quality customer service. I even got a $100 service credit for referring my boyfriend!

Tony was very patient with us while we performed multiple test drives of different vehicles. He did not put any pressure on us to buy any type or model of vehicle and was very helpful in answering any and all questions, even repeat questions, we had for each model. We were not expecting to pick up the vehicle we purchased the day we decided to buy but Tony made sure we were able to drive it home that night. He was a very good "go between" us and the sales manager as we hammered out the details of the deal. My experience at the Lombard Toyota dealer was more pleasant than expected and the deal was to our satisfaction, if just barely. Many kudos should go to Tony as it was a very busy day for them and he spend a lot of time with us that he could have spent with other customers. Thank you very much Tony!

I came into the dealer with a specific car and color in mind. Everyone was extremely friendly in helping me find exactly what I needed. They also worked with me on my specific budget. The specific location did not have the car in the color I wanted, but they found one for me somehwere else and had it there the very next morning. This was the first time I had ever purchased a car and they made me feel very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel like I cam to exactly the right place. I worked with a few different people, but mainly Bill and Igor. They were both extremely professional and outgoing. Igor was very nice and shared my excitement when I first saw the car! We walked in with a sales ad we received in the mail that said it might be possible to trade in our 2009 Toyota Corolla for a 2010 and a lower monthly payment. Our interest was peaked and thought we would see if it was truthful advertising. It was and we did not feel uncomfortable telling them what we were willing to pay and what we expected. They were very nice and accomodating. We left with a 2010 Toyota Corolla and a slightly smaller monthly payment. They delivered what they promised. Because they were courteous and willing to work with us so we could leave with a new car in our budget range I recommend them. They are not pushy and patronizing but patient and helpful.

We went to Lombard Toyota after I found a used Sequoia on the internet. Carlos helped us trade in our car and purchase the Sequoia. He knew about the car and it's previous history. I felt very comfortable purchasing a car from him and the dealership. We had a lot of questions about products to be installed after the purchase and he got us the answers we needed. We were able to drive the car out of the dealership the same day. The car was in great condition. Hardly able to tell it was used. Carlos is one of the best salesmen we have ever worked with. A fair price was negotiated quickly. The car was ready when promised and the paperwork handled quickly so this wasn't an all day task. I would definitely buy here again and reccomend to others.

Great dealership! We went there because our car we had been using needed a new engine. Sadly! Instead of replacing the engine, we called up Lombard Toyota and they were willing to give us good value for our used car and work with us to meet our needs finding a great car. It was a great car buying experience. Carlos walked me around the lot and showed me the different cars in our price range. They had a great selection of used and new cars. With some competitive pricing. The actual wheeling and dealing went really smooth. I felt respected and they listened to all my demands. They even flicked on the tv in one of the vans so my daughter could be entertained while we waited for the paperwork. They have great financing going on right now and are a pleasure to work with. We walked way with a 2004 Toyota Rav4 that our mechanic said was in excellent condition. Thank you Carlos!

He made the experience very pleasant and easy. I had a great experience at this dealership. I had been to another dealership (in Naperville) where we were not taken care of, so we decided to try this dealership. Carlos worked with one other salesperson (I can't remember his name) and they were both very nice. They made my experience painless and I even had fun at the dealership. My wait time was minimal and they were able to get the car I was looking for from another dealership in a matter of days. All the sales people at the dealership were friendly and engaged me in conversation while I was waiting. I love my Scion and think the price for the vehicle was very fair. The leasing information was straight forward and the whole process was easy. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone else looking for a new or used vehicle

I am familiar with Lombard Toyota after several years of having my 1999 Toyota Camry serviced at this location. When I found a need to purchase a second car, since I had always been happy with the quality of their service department, I visited the new car showroom. Ultimately, I found that leasing a 2010 Corolla was the best for my situation, and I am very happy with my purchase. Tony Marr was more helpful than he needed to be. While we were making the deal on our used car purchase multiple other employees helped in the process. Every part of the process was very translucent and easy to understand. There were no tricks or gimmicks which made us very comfortable. This is the first dealership I have been to where the salesmen all help each other without question. We researched prices online before going to Lombard Toyota and were pleased when the truck we purchased was priced accurately. The loan department worked diligently to get us the best financing available and succeeded. We will definitely be back when we upgrade our other vehicle and have already referred friends who are looking for a new car.

I would recommend Lombard Toyota. We recently bought a RAV4. Our sales rep was Carlos Santeliz. When we first went to Lombard Toyota we knew we wanted a RAV4 but we didn't know if we should get new or used, 4 cylinder or 6, what options we needed/wanted, etc. Carlos spent a lot of time with us to make sure that we were comfortable in making a final decision. We test drove several different cars with Carlos--went home, thought about it, came back to ask Carlos more questions and took a couple more test drives. Carlos was very low key, patient, and knowledgeable. Once we picked out a car every thing went smoothly with Joe Castillo, Director of Finance. Joe also was low key and very helpful. This is the first car purchase that I've ever made that the Dealer Finance guy didn't try to shove their "special" finance deal or extended warranty down my throat. From there every thing went well with Customer Service.

I would recommend Lombard Toyota. We recently bought a RAV4. Our sales rep was Carlos Santeliz. When we first went to Lombard Toyota we knew we wanted a RAV4 but we didn't know if we should get new or used, 4 cylinder or 6, what options we needed/wanted, etc. Carlos spent a lot of time with us to make sure that we were comfortable in making a final decision. We test drove several different cars with Carlos--went home, thought about it, came back to ask Carlos more questions and took a couple more test drives. Carlos was very low key, patient, and knowledgeable. Once we picked out a car every thing went smoothly with Joe Castillo, Director of Finance. Joe also was low key and very helpful. This is the first car purchase that I've ever made that the Dealer Finance guy didn't try to shove their "special" finance deal or extended warranty down my throat. From there every thing went well with Customer Service.

My experience with Lombard Toyota can be summed up in one word: refreshing!I was very impressed with the customer service I recieved.I never once felt like i was being forced into something I did not want or could not afford. Everyone I met had a smile on, even the cashier. I got a great deal on a pre-loved vehicle and could not have had a more plesant experience.

I received excellent service from both Amy and Chuck at Lombard Toyota. They were extremely friendly and answered all of my questions while addressing any concerns. They made me feel very comfortable while I was there and confident in my decision to lease from them. They worked quickly and efficiently through the entire process. By the time I left with my new car, I was completely happy with my entire experience at Lombard Toyota.

Received a competitive internet quote for a 2008 FJ Cruiser. Once I arrived the "numbers" game began. Damian (typical shady salesperson) kept on throwing number after number. I got frustrated and walked away. With desperation settling in, he actually followed ME through the parking lot, to my car, and was discussing the deal as I sat in my car with the window up (no joke)! I actually thought he was going to stand behind the car and not let me go. The next day I called to talk to the Manager (Tom). It was a waste of time and went on deaf ears...TO ALL, IF SALESPERSON FOLLOWS YOU THROUGH THE PARKING LOT, TRIES TO DISCUSS NUMBERS AS YOU ACTUALLY START DRIVING AWAY...RUN!!!

We purchased two vehicles from Lombard. A 2007 Matrix and a 2007 FJ Cruiser. The sales people were very professional and not overly aggressive. We felt we received a good deal since we had price shopped both these vehicles at other dealerships. The finance person was very friendly and recommended and extended warranty. We had him explain the benefits and options. Since we were going to keep our vehicles for a long time, it seemed like a good idea to take the policy. So far we have not had to use the coverage, but we feel comfortable that we have that assurance if we need it. Our service visits have been mainly maintenance needs. The people are always friendly and helpful with any questions my wife or I have about how to use certain accessories, or just about what is normal mpg's on these vehicles. We recommended this dealer to everyone. We live in another town that has a Toyota dealership, but we will drive a little farther just to go to Lombard. We were recommended there by a friend, and will continue to go as long as we own Toyota's. (Keep the coupons coming)

I purchaed a new 2004 Camry in March of that year. In December and seven more times since, I had to take the car back because the sun roof was not closing properly. Each time I was blamed for the problems. Finally they brought in a special field tech who was going to fixed it once and for all; however, several months later the problem reoccurred. I told Chuck that I understand there is something wrong with the tracking device on my sun roof and that I would have to bring it back every 7-9 months to have it realligned. All I'm asking is that once my warranty expires, that I would not have to pay for the repairs since they started the first year I owned the car. He refused to put a note in my file to guarantee that. He also said that I should be doing things to prevent it. All I do is open and close the roof when I want to use it. The last time I took the car in to repair the problem it was not repaired correctly and my sun roof still doesn't close properly. The service tech told me I just have to play with it! I did not pay $900 for an accessory to not work properly. I've made numerous calls to the service department and the Toyota Customer Service 800 number and I still have not received a resolution to my problem. I am so disgusted with not only this Toyota dealship, but with Toyota in general. I'm going back to buying American cars!

This was the most uncomfortable car buying experience I ever had. Their friendliness is as phony as a three dollar bill. The initial trade-in amount on my car was an insult. I conveyed that to the salesman (something out of the Sopranos), and he finally got to be reasonable after I started walking. I realize this is the standard procedure, but it took a long time to get there. After getting somewhat of a reasonable deal on a Prius (they were the only dealer out of 20 I called that had one) I asked the sales man to throw in a few cheap extras worth $100 or so, i had to fight to get those even though the dealer cost would have been small. Then 4 weeks later, we noticed the hatchback cover was missing. After talking to the salesman, he said he could get me the cover at cost for $300. It should have been on the car in the first place, but all I got was "it's too late now". If you want a good Toyota dealer, go to Grossinger. My experience there was wonderful.

if you are female DO NOT go to this dealership. Steve, the salesman, was very nice. but when i didnt buy right away he called in a supevisor to persuade me to buy. when that did'nt work the sales manager showed uyp to high pressure me. i asked for my keys back for my car at least three times and was ignored. when i said "GIVE. ME. MY. KEYS. BACK" he had the audacity to tell me to lower my voice. I assurd him and can assure anyone reading this that i will NEVER buy anything from Lombard Toyota and will never take a car there for service ever again.

I just needed a part and they responded quickly and even double checked before ordering it so I knew it would be right. Plus it came within 10 hours of them ordering it so I got the part fast, relativley cheap and everyone was friendly. This is only written about the Parts department though because, I didn't deal with any other employees.

I had the worst experience dealing with thios dealership. Here is the reasons that I rate this dealer so low in the rating scales. 3000 miles ago, my girlfriend and I purchased a used CERTIFIED Toyota Colla from this dealership. The salesman, Harvey, was really nice so we decided to purchase the car. The promised to do extra work on the car before they gave it too us such as fix a one inch deep dent in the door for example. Well we scheduled an appointemtn and a few DAYS later we got the car finally with THE DENT IN THE DOOR SIMPLY BEING SPRAY PAINTED OVER!!!!! The car looked terrible so we complained and rescheduled to get it done right. Note my sarcasim when I say all this scheduling and rescheduling is no problem since we dont have careers and lives to look after! Well, it did get fixed after several major inconviences and that was that issue. Well, now that we have had the car 3000 miles, there is a substantial rattle coming from one of the tires. We immediately took the car back and scheduled to get the problem fixed. We dealth with Jeff - nice guy but that didnt help. We got the car back 7 hours later for a job that we were told would take 2 hours max. The said that they had to replace the front wheel bearing and it would have cost us $900 but thankfully the warrenty picked that up. So we were happy but no sooner had we driven home we noticed the rattling noise COMING FROM ALL 4 TIRES NOW!! We rescheduled an appointment and 8 hours after they had our car, their conclusion was that my girlfriend "went offroading" and bent all 4 wheel rims and nothing could be done by them except we would have to buy 4 new wheel rims, which would not be covered by the warrenty since it was her fault. This was one of the most upsetting comments, to know that the car has new gone out of the city and she is a sweet and hard working 24 year old girl. But I have calmed down and understand that there is little I can do against a large dealership like this except tell my horror story and hope others dont fall into the trap that we did.

I would never go back to this dealership. I bought a used 1999 Camry from there and it had a broken CD left in the car. I was never able to get the entire CD out so I had to buy a new head unit for my sound system. Of course the salesman (Ed) never told me anything about it. Next we decided to buy my sister's used 2001 Camry there and when we go to finally purchase the car the salesman told my mom that she had to purchase some undercoating service or something. My mom said that she did not want it but the salesman just responded with, "We do it to all of our cars." We also got my mom's Highlander from this place. She wanted a blue one but the salseman pestered her until she went for a silver one because they had that in stock.Then there's the service department. I took my 99 Camry in there and less than two hours later they called me back and said that I had a spun rod bearing and needed a new engine. For those who don't know a spun rod bearing usually comes with a loud knocking sound, but my car just had a fluttering sound coming from the engine. Since they only had my car for two hours it leads me to believe that they didn't even drop the oil pan to look at the engine, let alone tear it open to look at the rod bearings.Please, do not go to this dealership unless you absoloutley have to. My family got horrible service on all three cars we got from there, and the mechanical problems we had were very recent so it doesn't look like this place is going to change anytime soon. It's been a horrible experience all around.

Rude and unprofessoinal. After purchase I called because I thought I didnt receive the Hitch piece. Rufus the sales guy was uncooperative. Had a bad attitude. Saying its 2 mo down the road and I had lost it. Nothing he could do. He then said " let me look around and see if one is laying around here" real sarcastic. He didnt even ask if I wanted to purchase a new one. said he would talk to his manager and call me back. I gave him my cell # and the coward then called my home # and left me a message that he couldnt do anything for me. I called the mgr and he said he never heard of my problem. The sales guy is a great guy.... no apoligies for anything. Will never go back there again. Place sucks....
